____________________________
For all the transformers & braves series fans out there here’s a new au where two mech series can be enjoy to your hearts content!!!!
I have loved the brave series ever since i discovered brave police j-decker!,including the transformers community, ive seen many people had done this a little bit,but i want to create an au out of it!! Inspired by @kabuki-akuma &  their arts
I created this au!
If you guys want more of it,just choose which series i will do next!
(you can also ask me about this au! Also warning, sime oc x canon btw!~😘)
Info:All this brave series are separated timeline, but both shared a connections, all of them are hailed from cybertron or their colonies, there are specific brave series will mention that only had close connection to cybertron & those are not or never at all, this au is just like before but their series goes exact the same events except their is new characters, new events & new details added.
Cybertronian traits:
◽They have energon as blood
◽They have sparks
◽They can change modes
◽They can sparkbond
◽They have pupils
◽They have same parts as humans
◽All of them are combiners
◽They have specific cities & colonies as their home
◽They have relatives
◽The have hidden weapons aa protables
◽They have holoforms
◽They can multichange(ex.shadowmaru)
◽Some are outliners
◽Some of them are earthbound cybertronians
◽Can scan their own vehicle forms
◽They can have sparklings
Here’s the list where the transformers media & brave series are bridge to one another:
       Brave police j-decker
◽In brave police j-decker,there are snipets of all brave teams & from other countries past where they came from.
◽Decker’s past is aligned to the rescue bots series the most,he is the brother to chase, he & chase share the same dream of becoming enforcers.
◽Saejima family’s is part of the witwiccans.
◽Gunmax is mated to jazz
◽Dumpson is ironhide’s nephew
◽Mccrane & power joe are distant relatives to the constructibots.
◽Duke is ratchet’s oldest nephew.
◽Shadow maru & kagerou are hailed from planet theiophany.
◽Drillboy is same with mccrane & power joe, except he is the son.
◽Decker has a future conjux.
◽They mentioned their home & some cybertronians.
◽They use words like”scrap,glitch,frag etc.”
◽They have all blasters but they never used it.
◽Shadow maru is born as a triple changer & cyberninja, kagerou too.
◽Kagerou lost his optic from lockdown.
◽There are also female bravers but they aren't seen yet, only siren is.
◽Deceker is iacon, mccrane & power joe are from crystal city,Duke is from nova cronum & iacon,Gunmax surprisingly hailed from polyhex, drillboy is iacon, siren is harmonex
◽Deckered didn't leave earth until yuuta finally settles down.
◽Yuuta becomes a police officer
◽Deckered has a kid named navy who goes to rescue bots academy,he bears resemblance to their father but had their mother’s colors.
◽Gunmax & jazz kid is Reggae
◽Duke is just the same as ratchet, except is rare to see him as such.
◽Kagerou survives actually.
◽Shadowmaru is a multi-changer.
The Brave of Gold Goldran
(will have pt.2 cuz of my oc )
◽Before the show begun, there is another character who watches over takuya & his friends, her name is Sakuya mikoto.
◽She is rather to self-aware around her surroundings.
◽She knows how to fight & is mostly frequent around the bravers.
◽She becomes a mentor to them,about earth
◽She has some unique abilities.
◽Dran & his teammates hailed from the ancient colony,”Eden”,their kingdom legendra is part of the said colony,is located in mineral valley.
◽Dran is a vermillion, meaning he came from one of the family who founded, ventus city.
◽All of the bravers are knights.
◽Sakuya had a powerstone looked like a matrix crystal.
◽She remembers legendra but only thought as a dream.
◽She was previously a saintess knight but she doesn’t know as she had lost her memory, she hailed from legendra.
◽She has the 10th brave stone.
◽Her own bot name is minerva.
◽She doesnt know her true origins, but she knows she is a hybrid
◽In her past, she dreamt of someone & dran promise to get married before, but something happened that lead them to earth.
◽Dran had been loyal, to her as she is his partner however he doesn’t know sakuya is minerva.(can be platonic or romantic)
◽Sakuya is a tech-organic.
◽All of the powerstones are just vessel to seal them, even if they are gone the bravers remains.
◽Silver knight are hailed from each cities as well, adevenger is from cybertron.
◽Sorakage had been the same planet as where drift hailed from, same with shadow, maru & kagerou briefly mentioned from.
◽Their powers are from enigma of combination.
◽When dran had kids he didn’t have them with maria,is with someone else, the kids are the same but different, while all of them looked a like as kids but as growing older they changed, the 1st son dorataro is now gallant.
◽The one he had kids with accidentally is ???,considering their part cybertronian, the it was transfer was the same except he is the mother.
◽Sakuya had another form, she used in fighting.
◽They have another way to produce, but no one is telling(pls spare dran).
◽Dran had the kids early years with ???,by the time they meet they are part of each role as junior braves.(in another timline their other creator is different)
◽Captain shark is a predacon.
◽Sakuya returns to her true form along with minerva when takuya found the matrix power stone by accident & chanted the spell.
◽She is known as the platnium knight.
◽When dran & her planning to settle on legendra, but decided on earth instead the kids settles on earth as well,in another country where not only the kids can roam around but able to grow & train as well, she becomes the guardian & dran’s official charge.
◽The kids Are Dorataro(Gallant),Dorajiro(Raiden),Dorasaburo(Tenjin) & Dorayo(Uzume)
◽Dran is related to Voltaire vermillion.
◽Dorayo had once crossed to the main universe of brave series, let’s just say things had been awkward.
This au is for transformers & Braves fans!,you can choose which series I will do next,do writing of them, the ships & arts along with it.
You can also ask me or them if you want more!

Note
What would be your top 5 transformers characters? Doesn't matter what continuity.
Ooo okay that's a tricky question, there’s so many to choose from :’DD
Honestly my list will probably change as a continue watching the shows and read the comics but here it is so far:
5) TFA Lockdown
Must I even explain this,HAVE YOU SEEN THAT MAN. He’s got one of the most unique designs I’ve seen for mecha in the TFA universe AND he’s got a really interesting open-ended backstory which only makes me love him more. In art/writing, you can do SO MUCH with him because of that, PLUS his voice is 13/10 so
4) TFP Wheeljack
I’ve always loved Wheeljack bc he’s got a wonky design w those finials. From the few clips I’ve seen of G1 I IMMEDIATLEY became attatched to him bc (dont get me wrong  I LOVE this dude) he looked so so stupid. And then I found out he was in TFP and actually kinda rocked the whole old and grizzled crackheaded uncle look and WOWIE. What really drew me into his TFP version is the fact that he is the perfect combination of smartass, dumbass, and badassery. I just loved how chill he was in almost any situation, just throw a few grenades, do some sick samurai moves, take out a few cons with your thighs, NO BIG DEAL he just went for it and honestly what a king.
3) TFA Blitzwing
He’s a big strong schnitzel who is basically three boyfriends in one, what's not to love?????? He was the first character I became attached to when I first started watching TFA, I think it was his design (I adore any character who kinda looks like a pilot, I don’t know why I just DO) and the fact that I haven't seen any other continuities utilize triple changers in the way TFA did. Plus, I thought he was funny and cute,,,,and then I found the fanart. KNOW I WILL ONLY EVER SEE HIM AS SASSY AND REALLY FUKING SEXY ANDGHHHHHHHHHIKVBKVKL
2) TFA Optimus Prime
I’ve said this at least a billion times already but I swear, TFA did a FANTASTIC job on flipping the whole deity-like stance on what it meant to be a ‘prime’.
Rather than making Optimus the baritone and unbreakable leader as we normally see him in other continuities, TFA made him a learning and growing imperfect leader who allowed the audience to see his journey into becoming one of the strongest characters on the show. Optimus had WONDERFUL range in the show when it came to him fixing his mistakes, owning up to his decisions, taking the lead in spur of the moment circumstances, and showing little moments of weakness.
I guess what I kind of mean by that is I'm so unbelievably grateful that TFA gave us someone to look up to that we could relate to in a way of someone going through life figuring things out as they go, standing up for what they believe in and doing what they know in their gut is right, AND showing that things still can workout even if you have to diverge from your original path. I love TFA Op because he gave people a chance to see an amazingly written coming-of-age stance of what it means to be a strong and respected leader. PLUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HIS LIPS. SIR HAD NO RIGHT LOOKING THAT GOOD BUT OHHMYGOD
1 ) IDW Overlord
Overlord as a person (or both I guess in this case)  is literally one of the worst hearted characters in all of Transformers, but it's the way that he’s characterized and designed that makes him my favorite. Very very rarely have I seen in writing/films a character that shows absolutely ZERO redeeming qualities or moments that can’t allow the audience see them as someone who falls on both sides of the scale for reasoning behind their HORRIBLE actions.
To me, that is a huge deal because I'm possibly one the most emotional person I know, and I am always trying to find some sort of logic and understanding behind the actions of others that can help me figure out how/why someone could act so cruel.
When I do come across a character who I have not a single ounce of empathy for, I’m completely blown away and can only become THAT MUCH MORE fascinated by the character. In Transformers, that character is Overlord. He’s undeniably transparent in his self interest that I’m completely in love with the way he was written. I guess the simple reason why I love his character so much is because he’s so black and white, that I can’t fight to find any form of positive qualities I can see in his character, which again, IS REALLY HARD FOR ME TO DO.
Now on his design,,,,,holy.fuck. I’m telling you,it’s the lipsIM WEAK. that and he's a big and blue bully who has a nice color scheme and he's big and huge and did I mention he's GIGANTIC??

TFMR Worldbuilding: Four “Artifacts” And What They Do In Order To Keep Cybertronians From Setting Their Own Bumpers On Radioactive Fire
Short Version: Allsparks makes Cybertroniankind. Matrix micromanages Cybertroniankind so they don’t do stupid stuff. Vector Sigma records everything Cybertronian does. If everything turns into dumpster fire, Requiem Blaster erases everything so things can start again from the beginning.
Long version:
Tumblr media
Artifact no.1 - Allspark
Allspark is a mass of infinite energy. With the energy, it creates things. More precisely, it creates Cybertronian life.
The problem is that Allspark has no self-restraint. Without supervision from Matrix, it creates all kinds of weird things like Predacons, Sparkeaters, and Terrorcons. Such random creations sometimes prove themselves to be beneficial to the survival of the timeline, almost all of them often becomes the cause of ultimate doom.
Interaction example: Matrix: 13,427,56 timelines ended in Terrorcon apocalypse. 42,592 timelines suffered apocalyptic Predacon turf wars. Allspark, I really don’t think you should throw any of those in this timeline! Allspark: Aw. Matrix: But I might need some of those Triple changers in the near future though. Also, could you add extra batch of Spacecrafts for the next two millennia? Cybertronians are about to build extraterrestrial colonies. Allspark: Sure, whatever.
Also, it is true that deceased one’s spark returns to Allspark. To be more specific, the energy from the extinguished spark returns to Allspark. It does not keep any memories of the deceased spark or even information about what kind of person this spark used to be. that’s Vector Sigma’s job
Tumblr media
Artifact No.2 - Vector Sigma
Vector Sigma is a passive entity. It only observes and records what happens within the timeline. Not even the tiniest detail slips past its watch. It’s like Santa Claus. It knows what kind of deeds each and every people have done, but it does not judge if the deeds are good or bad.
Vector Sigma also has records of every single deceased Cybertronian. It keeps their memories and personalities. Theoretically, it is possible to bring back a dead spark with combined power of Vector Sigma and Allspark.
The one downside of Vector Sigma is that it only knows about things that already happened. It can give information about what had happened in the past, but it does not give any predictions about future. That’s Matrix’s job.
Also, Vector Sigma is where all the unused blueprints for the Cybertronian species are stored in.
Interaction example: Allspark: Hey, I made a thing. Can I submit the blueprint? Vector Sigma: Sure. is it another Predacon sub-species? Allspark: More like a Terrorcon that is also a Sparkeater. Allspark: And a beastformer. Vector Sigma: Well, sure. I don’t think Matrix is going to let you create more of them anytime soon, but whatever. it looks cool. Allspark: Thanks!
Tumblr media
Artifact no.3 - Matrix
Matrix is the artifact that is most actively involved in Cybertronian’s life. It is mostly passive, but it immediately springs to action when there’s a crisis that could endanger the timeline.
It chooses one Cybertronian who is willing to sacrifice themselves for greater cause, and makes them do whatever it takes to avoid the crisis. These Cybertronians are called “Prime”. Usually, Primes ended up becoming the ruler figure or head of a government system because of the wisdom from the Matrix. Also, being in power makes pulling the strings easier most of the times. However, there are times when Primes are better stay hidden in order to carry out the Matrix’s will.
When not in crisis, Primes become the spying eye for Matrix. This way, Matrix gets to know the current situation of the timeline and detect possible crisis that could be coming ahead.
Matrix has ability to access the information stored within Vector Sigma. By comparing the current scenario and scenarios from all the past doomed timelines that are similar to current one, Matrix is able to share its “Wisdom” with the Prime.
Interaction example: Matrix: Hmmm.... The corrupt Council just announced the new anti-warframe policy. As if the Council itself wasn’t a headache already, now we have warframes being danger to the Cybertronians on top of that! Vector, has there been any timelines like this? and how did they go? Vector Sigma: Timeline 49444b6c6d616f is where you had the Prime take down the Council first. There were multiple dead Primes, but the Cybertronians have successfully united to overthrow the Council. Then it immediately led to the Doomesday Scenario #319, where the Council members pull Requiem Blaster’s trigger because they didn’t like to hear their subjects say NO to them. Matrix: And what about the other way round? Vector Sigma: You’ve done the opposite at Timeline 5446416d617962653f. Prime became the Senate’s advocate, and the Warframes were exiled to another colony planet. They stayed separated for a very long time. You’ve chosen many more Primes from both sides to resolve this issue, but things eventually escalated to Doomesday Scenario #4444: Cybertronian civil war. Matrix: How long did it take from the incident to final hour? Vector Sigma:  Timeline 49444b6c6d616f? about few years. They shot the blaster as soon as the protesters entered the Council building. Timeline 5446416d617962653f, on the other hand, took about three and a quarter billion years, with additional four million for war time. Matrix: I see.... so should either of the scenarios repeat, the latter would have more factors to work with that could easily alter the outcome. Matrix: Erectimus Prime, listen. I know you really want to support the warframes and blow up the Council, but at this moment taking extreme measures will only make everything worse. Pretend that you follow the Council for now, and wait for next instruction.

Artifact no.4 - Requiem Blaster
It’s the ultimate eraser for the timeline that went haywire. Without it, the other Artifacts would be forced to move forward in a doomed universe where they can’t do anything for indefinite amount of time. It’s the most powerful weapon in the universe and whatever higher dimension that the Artifacts reside, but it can only be activated by Cybertronians.
This artifact works in the most ridiculous and mysterious ways that not even fellow artifacts can fully understand. For majority of the times, it hides its existence from Cybertronians. Then, when something really messed up starts to happen, a legend about “really powerful weapon that can destroy all” suddenly begin to pop up. Then, when enough hostility and insecurity had built up within society that someone actually seek for this weapon, it reveals itself. Normally, Cybertronians would hesitate to pull the trigger because of the legends that comes with it. However, once they have lost enough of their slag to actually fire this weapon....
Funny thing is that the physical form that exists within the universe is actually just a flare gun. The only purpose it does is to summon a much bigger BANG. As a safety measure, there are also some conditions that needs to be met in order to fire this weapon. The one who fires this weapon should have serious intention to kill someone, and they should be fully aware that they are about to commit mass destruction.
Also, this weapon auto-activates when last Cybertronian’s spark is extinguished.
Tumblr media
When the blaster finishes its job, the time starts again from certain point in timeline. However, it does not actually start until Allspark creates the first Cybertronian of that timeline.

Wave 4 Spoiler Round-Up 3
Yes, even more spoilers for Wave 4. And what spoilers they were these last 2 weeks! (I am not revealing any new cards here; they have all been revealed somewhere else first). If you don’t want spoilers, turn back before the picture.
Tumblr media
First up is Raider Rumble.
Tumblr media
Soundwave’s other little helper for this set. He actually has a good ability if he gets KO’d while sitting in alt. He does Plasma Burst when KO’d; not a bad card. He also kicks an upgrade back to hand with his tap ability (perhaps to scrap it with Security Checkpoint?) Not that bad; but I wish he was 5 stars; to team him up with Laserbeak, Ravage and Major Soundwave. That does mean Major Soundwave can only untap 2 of his little Spy Patrols. Next up we have…
Tumblr media
Sergeant Barricade! I’m pleased to see he has a rank (I was expecting him to be Raider Barricade). His stats seem pretty solid for a seven star character. As for his bot mode ability; he puts a card that you flipped without any battle icons on it under him after he battles (as long as there isn’t already a card under him!) Then comes his true skill; when you flip him to alt, you can play that card you put under him. So you can play a second Action or Upgrade the turn you flip him to alt. My head says he’d make a fantastic teammate for Skywarp, Teleporting Seeker. Now…
Tumblr media
We have Lockdown! I’m so pleased! I LOVE this character and I didn’t think he’d appear in this wave at all! But… what faction is that? A whole new one; he’s a Mercenary. Who all have this cool skill called Bounty which triggers when they KO an enemy. And Lockdown’s is similar to Nemesis Prime’s from Wave 1; only not quite as easy to trigger. However, unlike Nemesis; he gets the +2 attack boost on both sides. Lockdown also does have a thing for Upgrades. When you flip him to alt; he helps cycle your deck through, by letting you draw X cards then scrap X cards from your hand. Here, X is the number of Upgrades on him + the number of cards under him. So… he might be a good teamie for the aforementioned Nemesis. Now on to another Mercenary…
Tumblr media
Mudflap. His Bounty ability lets you play the top card of your deck. Which may just swing the game in your favour (if the card is the right one). When you flip him to alt… he lets you Plan 1. Perhaps this Mercenary could be a good teamie for Decepticon King Starscream (who wants lots of Crowns on the top of the deck). He’s my least favourite of the Mercenaries… but that’s because his abilities seem a bit weak. Next up…
Tumblr media
Deadlock! And look how happy he is to be making a return! He has Stealth against non-Mercenaries; so good luck trying to hit him! My head says you’d only flip him to Bot mode if you KNEW he could get the KO with his swing, then flip him back with his skill and draw 2 cards in the process! If you decided to flip him before that… you could use his flip to alt skill to cancel Autobots’ and Decepticons’ Stealth abilities. He’s interesting… Now we have…
Tumblr media
Detritus. Yeah; I’m not sure who this fellow is either. He lets you play a black card when you flip to alt; which is… interesting. So… there’s plenty of options in this Wave. Not sure what I’d choose. His Bounty ability… lets him sneakily repair 3 damage?! That’s really good! He’s the only character that can repair that much damage! So… maybe he’d make a good teamie for Ratchet? Next is…
Tumblr media
Octone (Not sure why they changed his name from Octane though…). Not only does this set give us a return for Triple Changers; it also gives us a Mercenary one! And he’s the most interesting. He actively wants to challenge the other factions! His two alts have the same abilities, one for Autobots; one for Decepticons. When you flip to plane mode (since he begins in truck mode) your opponent chooses one of their Decepticons and does 1 damage to it. And Octone even gets +3 attack while attacking a Decepticon in this mode! Truck mode is the exact same abilities; only for Autobots. And then we have his bot mode; which has his Bounty ability on it. A Plasma Burst ability. The only shame with Octone is… he’s 13 stars! Who do you team this big boy with? Now we have…
Tumblr media
Nightbird! The fabulous ninja she-bot becomes a Transformer at last! (Now to work out a deck with her and Megatron in it…) And what a skill she has in alt mode! Whenever your opponent plays an Action; any Action, they must do 1 damage to one of their characters! Which is evil! And when this evil she-bot manages to KO an enemy… she lets you play an Action from your opponent’s scrap pile!? So… do you get the effect, or does your opponent; since it’s their card? If you get it… that’s the first card in this game that lets you use your opponent’s cards! Now back to something more ordinary; with Raider Blackjack.
Tumblr media
And like the other Sports Car Patrols… he’s not very interesting. He reminds me of Powertrain; getting more Attack and Defense when his team mates are KO’d in bot mode. But he repairs 1 damage from each Sports Car Patrol as they untap. Including himself. Now… Who to team with this lot? Another car; imagine the shenanigans you could do with a five wide Blue (since these guys wanted blue cards for their Abilities) and Black car deck! Next up is Raider Tailwind.
Tumblr media
Who is the Air Strike Patrol version of Blackjack and Powertrain in bot mode; getting bigger the more of his team mates that fall. His other skill is interesting as well; since it actually turns the first green pip you flip into a double orange/blue card! Which is helpful; since these guys seem to want a deck with green cards in for their skills. But only if the Air Strike Patrol battle (so not for whoever you team up with them). Next we have Private Sunrunner.
Tumblr media
Who is the Battle Patrol version of Blackjack, Powertrain and Tailwind (Does that mean Seawatch is the Rescue Patrol version?) in bot mode. His alt mode ability does the same thing as Rock Toss; but when you tap a Battle Patrol, either for their skills or to attack with them. That’s really mean! Will these guys survive long enough to take advantage though… considering that they want an orange deck for their skills? Now on to Raider Caliburst.
Tumblr media
Who looks like a recoloured Aimless. They thankfully do something completely different. They punish your opponent for drawing more than 1 card per turn (Yes… play that Databank…). Caliburst makes them do 1 damage to one of their characters if they draw more than their initial draw for the turn. Which can trigger during your turn if play a card like Testify or flip Decepticon Shockwave to alt (I think?). When he gets KO’d; he likes it if your opponent has more cards in hand than you. When the upgraded character attacks, if your opponent has more cards in hand than you; they scrap a card then you draw a card! Not bad; makes him a good teamie for the aforementioned Shockwave. Now on to Raider Needler.
Tumblr media
My first thought was, who? They’re the Decepticon equivalent to Vanguard; turning into a helmet for one of his teamies to wear when he gets KO’d. And this helmet doesn’t just give the upgraded character +2 defense; they also help the upgraded character bite through the enemy’s Armor; with Pierce 2! How evil! Their evilness doesn’t stop there; they stop enemies from repairing while they’re in their bug mode (shame they aren’t an Insecticon). Next is Raider Nightflight.
Tumblr media
The fourth and final member of the Air Strike Patrol. And he does the best ability of the three with tap abilities in my opinion. Scrap 3 green cards; your opponent does 3 damage to one of their characters. If all 3 of those cards had the same name; you repair 3 damage from one of your characters! That’s brilliant (it’s based on new card War Of Attrition.)!  The other side is same old, same old for these little guys; he has Stealth while he is untapped. Now who to partner up with these four? Next up is Private Seawatch.
Tumblr media
Who does have the same ability as Sunrunner, Blackjack, Powertrain and Tailwind in bot mode; but for the Rescue Patrol. Now on to what the boat mode does. When a Rescue Patrol battles and you flip at least 2 white; you flip 3 more battle cards. Hang on? That means when you flip the first white, you flip two more battle cards. Then when you flip the second, you flip 3 more. That’s five more! Which will be amazing either on the attack or defense! Who to team up with these four?
That’s it for this article. Let’s see who gets revealed for this wave over the next 2 weeks!

Redmi Note 7 Review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 full review Following a Chinese launch in January the Redmi Note 7 officially went on sale in the UK on 7 May, charging straight into the top spot in both our UK and Chinese budget phone charts, knocking the Mi A2 Lite off its perch. It's the first phone from newly spun-off Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi, and as such it marks a huge departure from Redmi as you know it.
Tumblr media
Headlining is a 48Mp dual-lens camera, and Redmi Note 7 was actually the first Xiaomi phone to pack such a high megapixel count - though Mi 9 then came along and did it better. There are some similarities between this budget phone and Xiaomi's flagship, but Redmi Note 7 is much more closely aligned in specs and performance with the Oppo F11 Pro, another Chinese phone that has not yet gone on sale in the UK (and may not ever do so).
It's also got a large 6.3in Full-HD+ screen and promises all day runtime from a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support. Plus some users will be very happy to see the inclusion of a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack.
Xiaomi has kept down costs by specifying a mid-range Snapdragon 660 chip and 3- or 4GB of RAM, allowing this budget Android to be available from as little as £179. That's for the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage model, while the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage model we review here costs £199. There's also a 128GB storage version at £249. You can choose from Space Black or Neptune Blue colour options.
Right now GearBest is offering an incredible deal on the entry-level 3GB/32GB option, where it costs just £113.54.
You can also buy Redmi Note 7 direct from Xiaomi, or from retailers such as Amazon. It will also be available on a contract basis from Vodafone.
The Redmi Note 7 is available in Europe from 179€, but if you're looking to buy in the US you'll need to import it from a site such as GearBest or Geekbuying. The latter is currently stocking the global version of the top-end Redmi Note 7 at the discounted price of £170.01/$209.99/185.57€. Do remember to take into account potential import duty fees, which is calculated at 20 percent of the value on the shipping paperwork.
Redmi Note 7 review (Also see: Best Xiaomi Deals)
Redmi Note 7 Design & Build Redmi Note 7 is not all that dissimilar in design to the flagship Mi 9, which packs a fractionally larger (6.39in) screen into an ever so slightly smaller chassis. Both have tall 19.5:9 panels and slim bezels - naturally slimmer on the Mi 9, but the only place this is really obvious to the untrained eye is on its smaller chin.
Each also feature a Dot Drop (waterdrop-style) notch to maximise the available screen space and house the selfie camera, which is more obvious on Mi 9 with its larger 20Mp sensor (Redmi Note 7 has a 13Mp front camera). There's also a blink-and-you'll-miss-it slit at the extreme edge between the screen and frame for the earpiece.
Around the back you'll find some more obvious differences, however, with a dual- rather than triple lens camera on the Redmi Note 7, the Redmi rather than Mi logo, and a physical fingerprint sensor. All members of the flagship Mi 9 family now use an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Trending Articles
Microsoft Surface Book 3 release date and specification… The Microsoft Surface Book is a superb high-end convertible laptop that…

Arguably physical fingerprint sensors typically work better than these early in-display versions, and though it might be a fancy new feature to have the omission is not a game-changer.
Redmi Note 7 review
We tested the Black version so were unable to enjoy the gradient finish of the Blue model, but in pictures it looks gorgeous. With a glass back and front the Redmi Note 7 has a very premium design for a phone at this price point, and is only fractionally thicker than Xiaomi's flagship family at 8.1mm, though you will notice that glossy frame is plastic rather than metal. That extra space inside the case enables it to include a capacious 4,000mAh battery, too, matching the spec of the recently announced Mi 9T.
Something you won't find on Mi 9 phones (save for the Mi 9T) is the Redmi Note 7's 3.5mm headphone jack, which sits on the top edge of the phone alongside another increasingly rare feature: an IR blaster. While phone makers are rapidly making the switch over to USB-C audio, there are still plenty of users who want to use their existing earphones without an adaptor. Redmi Note 7 also has a bottom-firing mono speaker for audio.
At 6.3in the display is expansive, and ideal for watching high-resolution video and playing games. This is not the same AMOLED technology on Mi 9, but it's still good for the money, and actually nearly as bright - we recorded 398 nits using a Spyder. With a 2340x1080 Full-HD+ resolution everything is super-clear, too.
Although the Redmi Note 7 runs MIUI 10, on our review sample the system-wide Dark Mode setting found in the flagships is not available. It's possible this will come in the next update, with the Redmi running 10.3.2.0 and our Mi 9 running 10.3.3.0. This is useful not only because it seems to be the latest trend to do everything in Dark Mode, but because it drastically reduces the screen's impact on battery life.
The Redmi Note 7 also lacks the Ambient Display (always-on) mode found in Xiaomi flagships, which can additionally help you maintain battery life by reducing the frequency with which you feel you need to wake the phone to check the time or notifications. That could be an issue here, since Redmi Note 7 has the most ridiculous notification LED we've ever seen - it flashes up below the screen but is the tiniest little dot you could easily miss it completely.
Redmi Note 7 review
None of Xiaomi's current smartphone line-up is waterproof, though we wouldn't necessarily expect to find this feature at this price anyhow. Xiaomi also keeps down costs by excluding wireless charging from this phone, though it does support Quick Charge 4 and is supplied with a 10W USB-C charger in the box.
As with all Xiaomi phones you'll also find a silicon case is supplied, a nice touch given that these are not easily obtainable in UK High Street stores. The Note 7 does feature Gorilla Glass 5 to help protect it from scratches, but it is not infallible.
Redmi Note 7 Core Hardware & Performance The Note 7 is fitted with a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 14nm chip, which integrates an 850MHz Adreno 512 GPU. This is a step down from the also mid-range Snapdragon 712 and 730 found in the Mi 9 SE and 9T, but there's not a huge difference in performance - at least not anything the average user would be able to perceive - as you'll see in the comparison chart below.
You'll have seen this chip before, in the likes of the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, Xiaomi Mi A2, Nokia 7 Plus, Samsung Galaxy A9, Elephone U Pro and so forth. It's quite a popular processor. And while Redmi Note 7 is not significantly faster than any of those other phones that use it, something you should note is that it is significantly cheaper.
The Redmi Note 7 offers capable - if not flagship - daily performance, and provided you don't turn up the detail too much some very playable framerates. In GFXBench's T-Rex and Manhattan tests we recorded 46- and 21fps, for example.
The 4000mAh battery inside is good for a day's use, but no more. In Geekbench 4's battery test we recorded 7 hours 16 minutes, which is actually a pretty middling score and a little lower than we had anticipated given the huge capacity of the battery.
As we mentioned earlier on in this review you get a choice of 3- or 4GB of RAM. We tested the latter, and this is the version we recommend for the best performance, especially when it costs only an extra £20.
Redmi Note 7 review
A major advantage of Redmi over Mi is its support for storage expansion, so there's no reason why you shouldn't opt for the lower-capacity version and bolt on extra storage later, if and when you need it. Redmi Note 7 can accept microSD cards up to 256GB via a hybrid SIM tray - you must choose between dual-SIM functionality and storage expansion. If you do opt for a second SIM instead, know that either SIM slot can be used for 4G data, but unlike with the Mi 9 family you can't use 4G on both at once.
In terms of connectivity there's also dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and an IR blaster. You will not find NFC for making mobile payments, so if this is important to you step up to the Mi line.
Redmi Note 7 Cameras & Photography For a budget phone the Redmi Note 7's cameras are pretty good, though not quite as good as the marketing might have you believe.
The star of the show is a 48Mp lens that by default actually takes 12Mp shots. This is because it combines four pixels into one, averaging out the quality, exposure, colours and so on to create one significantly better-looking super pixel.
This is paired with a 5Mp secondary lens for blurred background (bokeh) shots, and together the Note 7 is capable of some decent - if a little dull - photography, given good lighting. Zoom right in and some noise is visible, but zoomed out the results are more than acceptable for a sub-£200 phone.
In low lighting the camera has more work to do, and even in Night mode it still struggles. Here you need to be really careful to keep the camera still for what feels like forever as it processes the shot. Though it did a good job of picking out different colours, including the different shades of black, text can be a little fuzzy and edges less well defined. Not a bad result, but equally not the best.
This is an AI camera, which means Xiaomi's software can intelligently set an appropriate preset for the shooting scenario. The app is very easy to use, and you can quickly switch between photo and video, Portrait, Night, Square, Panorama and Pro modes, and there's a shortcut for preinstalled Google Lens right within the app, too.
There's also an option to shoot in 48Mp, though all this is going to really do for you is gobble through your storage, since the results are not any better for the extra pixels.
The Redmi Note 7 supports 1080p video capture at 30- or 60fps with image stabilisation, but 4K and slow-mo video is off limits.
Around the front is a 13Mp AI camera for selfies, and in this mode the app offers quick access to various beauty settings.

Redmi Note 7 Software The Redmi Note 7 runs MIUI 10, which is a custom version of Android 9 Pie. Since we're using a Global ROM model it comes preinstalled with Google services and an English-language keyboard and interface, so setup is as simple as on any Android phone.
You will find Xiaomi offers its own version of most Google apps, which does mean there's some duplication here, and most cannot be deleted (or removed from the app tray-less home screen, though you can tuck them away in a folder where they will remain out of sight and out of mind). This is for good reason, since Chinese ROM MIUI devices don't have those Google apps. Some of these apps are pretty decent, however, so either use them, or don't - there's enough storage that you don't really need to worry about them.
Redmi Note 7 review
We noted earlier that the Redmi Note 7 currently lacks the Dark Mode and Ambient Display found on the Mi 9 family. The software is pretty much the same in other respects, and there are some great extras only found on Xiaomi phones such as Dual Apps and Second Space.
A Split-screen mode is also found in the recents menu, with is accessible either from the onscreen button or by swiping from the bottom of the screen and then pausing before lifting your finger in the gesture-only Full Display mode.
While the notification LED is so pathetic that you're likely to miss it completely, you do get individual app control over which are allowed to display notifications on the lock screen or float at the top of the screen, which means only the most important will be allowed to distract you. Finding your way around the settings may not be immediately obvious, however.
Redmi Note 7 Conclusion Redmi Note 7 is a very decent mid-range phone with a budget price. In the UK budget smartphone market none of its similarly priced rivals (think Mi A2 Lite, Honor 10 Lite, Moto G7 Power) even come close.
In design it's not all that far removed from Xiaomi's flagship, with a similarly large and almost as bright display, but it's not of quite the same quality. In performance most users would not be able to separate Redmi Note 7 and Mi 9 SE, and it's as capable as many phones costing £350.
Compared to the flagship line it adds microSD support and a headphone jack, but loses the wireless charging, in-display fingerprint sensor and NFC for mobile payments. The triple-lens camera is here reduced to a dual-lens model, but still has a huge 48Mp lens headlining.
On paper the capacious 4,000mAh battery looks amazing; in reality you should get a full day's use from it.

Top 10 figures of 2018
So uh, seeing as how the year's almost over, and I don't have any customs to post (that I'm aware of at least) and cause I've seen people do their own top 10 figures and what not, I'd thought I'd do mine version of it. So yeh, let'sa go.
10: Studio Series Deluxe Lockdown. This figure could've been better. Sure it's a decent upgrade from the AoE Deluxe figure, but TLK's Hot Rod was already an improvement of that. I guess the biggest problem with this figure is that it doesn't work to well im the scaling system that's been set up for the Studio Series line. If this were a voyager, I think this figure would've been much better. Articulation is also on a bit of a low point but still decent. This isn't a bad figure, it's just an underwhelming figure.
99:Studio Series Deluxe VW Bumblebee (Bumblebee Movie) Okay, so I was hyped for this figure, and I do still think it's pretty good. But it unfortunately suffers from the same problem as Lockdown in that it's a bit too small. Granted that's for scaling purposes and it works on that level cause he's small in the movie this form apperas in. The problem with the size is that it makes the transformation incredibly difficult, to the point that I'm scared to fold the roof all the way without breaking it. Converting to car mode is also difficult in that the roof panel doesn't like to line up all that well. Articulation is better than that of Lockdowns, which really helps make the figure more fun imo.
8: Studio Series Deluxe Dropkick. Like the previous entries on this list, I think the size of the figure is what really hurts the figure. But instead of a difficult transformation or limited range of articulation, it's more of a quality thing. The arms feel super thin thanks to them forming the heli-tail, and the wings on his back pop off ever time you try and transform him. I also believe that in making him so small, they also hurt the ability to try and make him a triple-changer, and by only chosing his heli-mode, I think it makes him actually look worse than what his car-mode would've looked like on its own. Of all the characters I'd want a MPM version of, I think Dropkick here would benefit the most from it.
7: Studio Series Deluxe Ratchet. For what it's worth, this is a great figure. Great size as a deluxe, simple transformation, and two nice color schemes to choose from along with two weapons as well. I chose the Dotm look just cause I think it's more pleasing and it has the gun as opposed to the saw. The only drawback of this figurrle is the coatail made from the headrack of the v-mode. It's rather unsightly on a figure that just boasts of accuracy. The articulation is also great on him as well. If you want a random figure to pick from, pick him.
6: Studio Series Deluxe Stinger. Being one of the first figures that I picked up for the SS line, he was a real good start to a really great line that I hope continues onward next year. V-mode is actually what it's suposed to be instead of a red camaro, transformation is so unique and something I've never seen before, leaving just about no kibble what-so-ever, and the articulation is great. I've yet to pick up the KSI Sentry retool of this figure, but I'm honestly excited to when I do find him.
5: Studio Series Leader Blackout. I've waited for this figure for almost 10 years, and now that I've got him, I kinda wish we had gotten him 10 years ago. He probably would've been much bigger than he is now and probably with electronics too. But regardless, this is a good looking figure nonetheless and only suffers from a rather difficult transformation. Heli-mode is nice and big though so that is a plus.
4: MPM-5 Barricade. This was a figure I didn't think I'd be getting, but I saw him on sale on Amazon for pretty cheap and I went ahead and got him. And wow he's pretty good. Articulation in the arms is something to be desired and the wheel wrecker weapon isn't all that great, but I find myself messing with him more often than not. A good figure overall and I got him for about half the price so that's even better.
3: Studio Series Deluxe Jazz. Wow, what an icredible figure at an incredibly small size. This guy is so poseable and so highly detailed, it's a wonder they haven't upsized this to be a MPM figure yet. Only drawback is the backpack, but it's not that bad. Transformation is a bit tricky, but satisfying once you've learned its secrets. This is a figure I can recommend to anyone because of just how fun he really is.
2: Studio Series Leader Grimlock. This is the figure we shoudl've gotten with AoE. Not that potato looking plum. This figure is truely Masterpiece level of both detailing and articulation. Transformation is also easy to do, so you could buy this for your kid and let them have a blast with it. Truely a masterpiece.
1: Studio Series Deluxe '77 Bumblebee. This is a biased pick purely because it's both the first SS figure I picked up, and because the original 2007 version of this figure was the first movir figure I got. This dude brought back so many memories that it instantly became a favorite for me. Aure the transformation is finicky, but it's been fixed in later releases. Articulation is standard, but fun nonetheless. And the weapon piece is nicely detailed and non-gimicky. Super glad this was the starting off point for the SS line and ultimately glad they made him.
So yeh, that's my top 10. Sure it's only SS figures, and that's mainly because I only bought SS figures this year cause I honestly think the Potp line was bad and the new Seige line has yet to release here in Texas. If any of ya'll want to say what your favorite figures were, let me know and why they were. Everyone has their own personal favorites and that's fine cause if we were all the same, there'd be no reason for any of this. But yeh, hope ya'll have had a Merry Xmas and have a great new year.

Data Log #1: Day 0
((Rodimus’s speech was taken from More Than Meets the Eye, Issue #1. I hope you guys like it!))
The arena was… packed to the brim. It would be hard to terminate any threats should one arise, especially… especially assassins. Feeling a hand pressed gently on your struts, you turned to see Rodimus looking at you in concern. “Are you alright friend?”
Doing your best to smile, you nodded your helm, though the grin faded as you turned to the crowd again. “That’s… a lot of Cybertronians in one place. I can barely remember how everything used to be before the war, but I’m sure it… was never this packed.”
“You fear for assassins,” Magnus’s voice rumbled from beside you. “With good reason.” Your tanks felt like it had bad energon in them; you knew he was looking at your sides, the armor there riddled with bullet holes. They had somehow managed to get compact rounds strong enough to tear right through your thick triple-changer armor.
“I doubt they’d try something like that in front of everyone,” Rodimus said, but his optics were still trained to your wielded side. You had an appointment with Ratchet after the speech to get them “beautified” as Drift called it, and then another meeting with Rung before you had to go meet back up with Rodimus to help plan for the ship’s launch tomorrow. “It won’t even take that long. It can’t; Y/N has a medical checkup they need to get to,” he added in a murmur to himself, though you and Ultra Magnus shared a look as Drift came up to the stage.
“Everyone is all settled and ready now!” He said, grinning and seemingly unaware of the tension between the three. “Do you remember your speech?”
“Of course I remember it Drift!” The red and orange mech said, shifting back away from you. You hadn’t even realized he had been so close, and immediately missed the warmth he put out. Cybertronians were inherently cold, what with being made of metal and all, but Rodimus… always put out warmth that made you want to hold him and never let go. Doing a completely human action and clearing your throat from Drift’s knowing, if teasing look, you kept your gaze forward as the Prime started, a hush falling over the crowd.
“How much do you want to bet he forgets and wings it?” You asked Drift, who chuckled.
“He won’t,” he stated, but gave you the side-optic. “How much is in the pot?”
“Seventeen hundred shanix and a couple cubes of Maccadam’s Ultra Grade.” You saw the temptation in his optics and grinned. “I have about 300 riding on he’ll forget.”
“A hundred he won’t,” Drift finally answered. You could feel Magnus’s irritation, but that’s how the mech always was, and the Ultra Grade was both legal and rare.
“Femmes and gentlemechs of Cybertron, I come before you not as a Prime, but as a normal, everyday mech. We have been at peace for decades, from which Cybertron has called you home. After purging the planet’s core, we Autobots found a map…” he trailed off, looking at the crowd and then back to everybot on stage. Recognizing the look in his optic, you wanted to both cry and cheer. “None of this is right,” you heard him murmur. “Let me start over,” he called out, stepping forward and pulling up historical archives. “They say that 12 million years ago on this very spot, the first Cybertronian realized he could change shape. Six million years ago, right here, Nova Prime told the world that he’d built an Ark. Four million years ago, to the day, Optimus Prime stood where I now stand and turned down Megatron’s first and only invitation to surrender! What happens here, tomorrow, will rank alongside those moments. Tomorrow, this patch of land will become a launch pad. Tomorrow, I will board the Lost Light and set off in search of our ancestors.
“They were known as the Knights of Cybertron,” he said in a louder tone as the whispers started. “They’re real; I’m going to find them, and I want all of you to come with me! Bumblebee says it’s your duty to stay here, on a planet you no longer recognize, among people who resent you for the sacrifices you’ve made in their name. I say: you’ve done your duty. The war is over. The day you never thought would come? That’s today! You’ve earned the right to see the universe without a gun in your hand. I will not judge or condone you should you choose to stay on our homeworld. I only ask that you give the Lost Light a chance. The time we will depart at will be broadcasted later. You saw the mech hesitate before giving one last smile. “Farewell.”
He walked off the stage, where you were waiting. “Not bad,” you said.
“Just not bad?”
“It would’ve been better had you remembered the speech, but you got us some Ultra Grade, at least,” you teased, making him grin and shake his head. “I should get to Ratchet before he gets too cranky. Bumblebee was scheduled before me,” you rolled your optics, but didn’t fight as he pulled you into a quick hug.
“See you later?” He asked as you started walking away.
“We have a date already!” You called, freezing slightly at your word choice. Fighting back the energon rush, you raced out of the building.
Settling down on the berth, you winced as Ratchet slammed a mallet into his hands. “Why don’t you just build yourself some new ones already?” You asked as Bumblebee stormed away. The CMO had already talked about joining you and several others on the Lost Light when Rodimus first announced it to you to try and cheer you up from the near assassination attempt. You had a sinking feeling that the whole “travel without a gun in hand” was directed towards you, as you had told him how wonderful it would’ve been to explored without an ion blaster at the ready.
“Because hands like these can’t just be replaced,” he scoffed, turning towards you. “Any problems with your pain receptors or issues with the wielding?” Shaking your helm, you watched curiously as he removed the metal scraps. You had been delusional when Magnus brought you in and missed what exactly the medic had done to save your life. “I saw the speech Rodimus gave. I assume you were there?”
“Yes, I was,” you answered, optics glinting at the sight of the new abdomen plates. “Ratchet, these…”
“You’ve done a lot for everyone Y/N.” He said, quickly reminding you why, when you were stationed on Earth with him, you affectionately called him “gramps”. “No one will probably ever truly know aside from you and Optimus, but I know how much you’ve helped us medics when that bout of Red Rust hit us, and I wanted to give you something in return.”
“I…” energon built up in your optics, making you wipe them away. “Thank you, Ratchet. It means a lot to me.”
“Now just don’t let your mechfriend scratch or dent them just yet; they need to settle,” he continued, and you couldn’t stop the blush in time. “Still no luck confessing then? Tsk, younglings. He likes you back too.”
“Since when were you renamed Rung?” you grumbled, sitting up once he was finished snapping the latches in place. “Thank you, Ratchet. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Rung gave you the same lecture as last time; don’t bottle emotions. Your response was always not as easily said than done with the energon of several thousand on your hands, and it always made you feel bad, because he agreed with you.
Finally, you all but collapsed on the chair in Rodimus’s office, rubbing your optics. “Rough day?” he asked, handing you a cube of medium grade.
“Probably not as rough as yours,” you answered, snatching up his data pad and raising a brow plate at one of the messages. “How many messages like this have you gotten so far?”
“Oh just a few,” he started, but qualed under your sharp look. “Dozen. A few dozen… hundred. A few dozen hundred, ok?”
Venting, you stood as he faced the window, looking at the traffic below. Wrapping your servos around his tanks, you nuzzled his neck struts in a way too over-friendly way, but at this point, you could care less. You were in need of a recharge, and he was in the need of a hug. “They can go fuck off,” you mumbled into one of his shoulder plates, making him shake with laughter.
“And you need recharge,” he said, laughter full in his voice as he turned around and embraced you fully, ducking his helm down to rest it on yours. Your nose-plates nuzzled and you pressed your helm against his more. “We can worry about the details tomorrow when we online,” he murmured, optics half lit and gazing almost… lovingly at you
That couldn’t be right; he was a Prime and you were some… low-life nobody miner turned spy.
Realizing just how close you two were, you stepped away, grabbing your pad you had left behind last time and shaking your helm. “We need to get the details finalized,” you said, spark aching as you noticed his crestfallen expression before he cleared his face.
“Yeah, we should,” he said, sitting down behind his desk. “Where should we start?”

Note
Wait. So, theyre now basically werewolves and vampires right? Do they still transforms into transportation? Or do they have another alt mode? Can they turn their human into werewolf / vampire too?
None of my fills for this AU will probably ever go into extensive detail about this, so feel free to ignore this and create your own headcanons, but I imagine that they’re all robots first and then monstrous abominations second. Both the lycanthropy and vampirism are different strains of the same virus that have evolved and upgraded over time. All the ‘bots and cons have their original alt modes and can transform into vehicles, but they also have separate transformations that affect them depending on which virus they have.
In the spirit of traditional werewolves, the Autobots generally look like themselves and have their original alt modes most of the time, though depending on the lunar cycle they will transform into bulkier, beastly ‘bots and their alt mode temporarily becomes that of a giant wolf-like creature. For the most part, the Autobots have learned to control these forms, however, if a ‘bot is weak nearing their time for transformation, they run the risk of “going feral” for the duration of that cycle. Their cycles are determined by Cybertron’s moons, not Earth’s.
Decepticons, on the other hand, become something like triple changers. They have their root mode, their original alt mode, and then can take on one more form. Fliers might be able to take the form of a robot bat, whereas ‘cons with ground-based alt modes might instead take another form such as a wolf, which can make things extra confusing between factions. Overall, their forms don’t look too different from their originals but there might be some more animal-like kibble; i.e. Seekers having wings with more bat-like shape. Earth’s sunlight does not bother them though higher concentrations of radiation can.
It should also be noted that they don’t have to feed on energon from another mech because energon is all the same; however, they do have fangs capable of piercing through thick Cybertronian metal so that it makes cannibalizing each other easier. The virus also makes them exceptionally violent if they are low on energon and the lower a ‘con’s energy level then the more likely they run the risk of losing control and attacking. Still, as long as they keep themselves fuled up, there’s no need for biting and stealing energon. Mostly, they just do it because they’re assholes. The virus does not drive them to drink human blood as it is nowhere close enough to energon, however multiple Decepticons have sampled it since crashing on Earth and some even consoder it a delicacy. it’s not very nutritional to them; more like a decadent dessert.
Both forms of the viruses have their own particular strengths and weaknesses, though both of them are weak in the wake of particular metals, such as a rare alloy found only on Cybertron that legend says came from Primus Himself.
Neither can infect humans since it’s a virus for mechanical bodies, thus it’s not compatible with human physiology and could not be transferred. Doesn’t mean there aren’t some crazy science types on both sides of the factions that are looking into it.
Uhh… and that’s all I have. Feel free to pick and choose aspects you like or disregard it entirely.

Historiography
The decisions a historian makes about terminology, the boundaries of different historical eras, and what they choose to analyze have a tremendous impact on the conclusions they draw. It is, therefore, only reasonable to be as transparent as possible about these decisions.
As with any historical endeavor, there are normative choices involved in determining what to analyze and how to organize our analysis. For Transformers, these choices are essentially which pieces of media and merchandise we choose to examine, and how we conceptualize our analysis. In this work, I have chosen to focus on figures of scout class and above of the Modern and Late Modern eras. This specifically excludes legends class toys, one step changers, and things of that ilk, for example the fast action battlers of the 2007 movie line. I have made this choice because that is what I personally collect; I don’t find toys that exchange articulation for involved, spring loaded gimmicks aesthetically pleasing. That’s not to say they’re bad, I just don’t enjoy them personally.
The primary sources will principally consist of the figures themselves, and official fiction like the Generation 1 cartoon or the IDW comics. More rarely, an artist’s professional website, archives of an interview with toy designers, or Hasbro Q&A sessions will be cited.
With respect to secondary sources, the Transformers historian finds themselves in a unique position. There exists a single secondary source so comprehensive as to contain information about every piece of Transformers fiction and every single Transformers figure in existence, namely the TFwiki. There is not, and indeed could not be, an analogous source for world history, and this raises the question, is the analysis of Transformers history redundant? Surely all that can be meaningfully said is already said by the wiki itself.
I believe this not to be the case. First, although the TFwiki does feature detailed discussions of Transformers toylines, particularly in blurbs at the beginnings of the pages for those toylines, there is no complete narrative encompassing the history of the entire brand. Although this could be argued to exist implicitly, if one takes the blurbs in order, there is no explicit effort to construct a historical paradigm. Moreover, the format taken in this work allows for a much more detailed and comprehensive examination than is available to the TFwiki blurbs.
The existence of the Transformers wiki also somewhat complicates the issue of citing primary sources. In a sense, the TFwiki is the ultimate primary source, compiling information from almost every single primary source available into a single place. There is no reason for me to seek to independently verify the existence of the green Unicron lucky draw figure simply to avoid citing the TFwiki. However, since the wiki is so comprehensive, one runs the risk of relying overly on a single source. I would argue that this reliance is appropriate for several reasons. Firstly, I have never known the TFwiki to be in error, or to contradict any of my personal, firsthand knowledge. Secondly, although the wiki does feature analysis and secondary content, and this will be cited, the principal reason the project will rely on the TFwiki is to provide otherwise inaccessible primary source information. This could take the form of a figure I don’t personally own and don’t have the means or desire to obtain, or a cartoon I don’t particularly want to watch. Thirdly, although the tone and content of this project are meant to be as academic as possible, since it is for my own personal fulfillment, we can relax our standards somewhat.
Citing a figure or an 80’s cartoon presents some challenges. For figures, the convention for citing sculpture is not particularly appropriate, for several reasons. Figures don’t have a single author, or institution housing them. Since there is not a satisfactory, extant procedure, we will adopt the convention of citing the figure’s wiki page, or the relevant Seibertron gallery, depending on what information we need to communicate.
For fiction, oftentimes it would involve more labor than I really want to put into a personal project to properly cite a television show, especially for things like Headmasters or Beast Wars Neo. So, because this isn’t actually academia, I’m not going to! I will instead cite the relevant wiki page. I might change this later if I suffer an attack of the cares.
We will be using MLA citations for this project. This decision was made because most online platforms are not equipped with footnotes, and MLA allows for in text citations. Wiki pages are obviously a collaborative effort, and any selection of which user to cite as the author is inherently arbitrary. Therefore, I will establish the convention of citing the oldest named user on the history of revisions page of the TF wiki for most pages. For a select few, namely the pages of toylines themselves, I will cite the most recent user, since those pages are changed more frequently and profoundly.
The organizational choices of the project are somewhat more involved. I have chosen to organize this analysis of the brand by era, individual lines and individual molds.
Transformers history lends itself to being divided into three distinct eras. The first era runs from the creation of the brand in 1984 until the launch of Beast Wars in 1996.(Monzo) The second era comprises the years between the launch of Beast Wars and the release of the first live-action Transformers film in 2007.(Seichi) The third era stretches from 2007 to the present day.
The first era pioneered and defined many of the concepts and characters that would appear later in Transformers. The iconic Generation 1 cartoon introduced characters that would go on to become pop culture institutions, like Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream and Bumblebee. The cartoon featured countless memorable concepts and scenes, such as Soundwave’s trademark voice, or Optimus Prime playing basketball. It also introduced a remarkably large cast of minor characters who continue to regularly receive references and appearances to this day.
Accompanying this extensive cast was an equally extensive toyline, which continued uninterrupted for six years.(Flicky1991) This toyline introduced many of the basic transformation schemes and play patterns that continue to define the brand, such as the hood of the car turning into the robot chest, combiners, triple changers, or smaller figures that interact with larger toys.(Flicky 1991) It is no stretch to say that no other era has played as much of a role in the shaping of the brand.
For all its influence, the first era still features many characteristics that allow it to be defined as a period. Perhaps most obviously, limits on toy engineering resulted in figures with, by today’s standards, extremely limited articulation.  Many figures are only able to move their arms.(Flicky 1991) Die cast metal and real rubber tires were still regularly included on figures.(Flicky 1991)  Different copyright laws also allowed figures such as Wheeljack to be very explicit references to other real life corporations and remain unlicensed.(ItsWalky, Wheeljack) Many toys, most notably Jetfire, were not designed by Hasbro or Takara, but licenced from competitors.(S.H.I.E.L.D Agent 47, Jetfire)
This era will be referred to as the Generation 1 era. Although it also encompasses the Generation 2 toyline, Generation 1 is by far the most important part of the period. The Generation 2 line didn’t receive a new cartoon, and the comic book fiction is a direct continuation of the G1 comic.(Steve-o, Generation 2) Similarly, the toyline is, in many ways, also an extension of G1, featuring many of the same characters, and a high proportion of redecos from the G1 line.(Steve-o, Generation 2) There is also not an appealing term from world history to use for this period; Classical confuses the period with the actual line, Transformers: Classics, that occurred later. Similarly, Medieval and post-classical are somewhat meaningless in this context.
The second era of transformers history redefined the brand once again. Beast Wars radically expanded the concept of what a transformer could turn into, with the introduction of organic alternate modes. While Beast Wars and its successor series, Beast Machines, were intended as direct continuations of the G1 cartoon, they also departed from it quite a bit, featuring entirely new casts and introducing foundational concepts such as sparks, the fictional ‘soul’ of a transformer.(Steve-o, Beast) However, the subsequent series, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, was a still greater departure, marking the first true fictional reboot in the history of the brand. The RID universe had nothing to do with the Generation 1 cartoon.(Steve-o, Robots) Megatron was no longer a gun, or even a decepticon, and a bevy of new characters such as the Build Team, Sky-Byte, and Rail Racer had no Generation 1 counterparts.(DrSpengler) Reboots would become one of the most important fictional features of the brand, subsequent to RID.
From a toyline perspective, the second era of transformers was also a radical change. Advances in engineering, particularly the near omnipresence of ball joints, allowed Transformers to have remarkable articulation.(Monzo) This change allowed toys to assume their contemporary form, and to distinguish themselves from the blockier and more limited toys of the previous period.
This period will be referred to as the Modern period. This term is used because the shift from the figures and fiction of G1 to those of this period marks a huge break in style and content, somewhat similar to how the organization of politics was fundamentally different following the defeat of Napoleon in 1815, a date commonly used to loosely mark the start of historical modernity. This term emphasizes both the departure from previous practice and the move into a regime closer to our own, both in terms of time and being more recognizable and intelligible.
The third era is marked by the release of the live action Transformers film and the Transformers: Classics line. In the third period, releases cycled between three different kinds of toylines; the line for the currently running cartoon, the line for the current movie, and a CHUG line, a term that will be explored later.
The third era also featured an increase in the complexity of figures across the board, largely spurred on by the visual complexity of the 2007 movie models.(Seichi) In contrast with Modern figures, third era figures don’t tend to feature large swaths of uninterrupted or unjointed plastic. Instead, every piece is intricate and detailed, often serving a very specific purpose in the transformation or holding the figure together.
The term Late Modern will be used for the third period. The term Postmodern conjures images of transformers that turn into chairs or copies of Foucalt as a statement, which is not suitably evocative of the third period. The term Contemporary is also unsuitable, since the beginning of the era was more than ten years ago, as of writing. Moreover, the term Contemporary should not be chained to a specific era, but left to refer to the present day, whenever that may be.
An important component of the Late Modern period is the widespread prevalence of G1 reference lines. In particular, I will draw attention to the use of the term CHUG as pertains to HasTak’s more nostalgia oriented offerings. The term CHUG is an acronym composed of the first few toy lines that were primarily nostalgia focused; Classics, Henkai, Universe and Generations. (Rhymus) These toylines were dedicated in some part to the recreation of G1 characters as general retail figures, with updated articulation and engineering.(Rhymus) These figures all share a loose general aesthetic, are often deluxe or voyager sized, and are all roughly of the same quality and complexity. This term is preferable to the term nostalgia line for several reasons. First, many of the CHUG lines were not entirely nostalgia focused. Second, the term already exists and is widely understood and used. Accordingly, because the concept is key to our project, we will employ the term.
The division of eras into lines is easier to understand if, for the moment, we take the perspective of the Transformers fiction.  Any Transformers enthusiast is familiar with the complex, divergent, and some might say tortured Transformers canon. Even as early as G1, the toy bios diverged from the cartoon, which in turn had nothing to do with the contemporaneous comic book series.(Steve-o, The Transformers) For example, in the cartoon, Shockwave was presented as extremely loyal to Megatron, whereas in the comics he was one of his primary rivals for power.(Octopus Prime) The canon becomes even more divergent in the Modern era with the advent of the Robots in Disguise franchise and the first reboot of the brand.(Steve-o, Robots) Although there have been fictional attempts to tie the fiction together with a unified multiverse, on a metafictional level, it makes sense to analyze Transformers canon as a series of different stories by different creative teams, sometimes involving the same or similar characters. This analysis divides Transformers into coherent units or blocks, namely franchises.
For example, Robots in Disguise constitutes a single block, as does Beast Wars, or Transformers: Armada. These series, although they have storytelling commonalities, are clearly distinct from each other, and each is reasonably self contained. Since, in Transformers, the fiction exists primarily to sell toys, each block of fiction has an associated block of figures.(Jw)  Since the fiction is clearly delimited, so too are the corresponding toylines. To that extent, it makes sense to define them as some of the fundamental units of our analysis.
However, this approach is not without its flaws. There are many more obscure figures that constitute a toyline in and of themselves, or with one other figure. Examples include a Soundwave that turns into a licenced tablet.(Deceptitran) There are also toylines that run independently of any fiction, and concurrently with another toyline, such as 2003’s Transformers: Dinobots.(M Sipher) Indeed, Beast Wars continued to have toys on the shelves even during its successor series Beast Machines.(Monzo) In short, the temporal boundaries of our units, or even what constitutes a toyline, are occasionally unclear.
Another issue with the division of analysis into toyline is the joint ownership of the Transformers brand by Hasbro and Takara Tomy. Although there is generally high overlap in terms of the molds offered by Takara and Hasbro, the division into lines is completely different. For example, in 2014, Hasbro and Takara released many of the same molds in a very different way. Hasbro released the figures under the branding Combiner Wars, individually at general retail.(S.H.I.E.L.D Agent 47, Combiner) Takara released them under the branding of Unite Warriors, in packages of 5 figures with cartoon accurate decos.(Saix)  Arguably the most significant departure between Takara and Hasbro occured in the Generation 1 era; Hasbro released one, very large toyline, backed by a single cartoon.(Steve-o, The Transformers)  In contrast, Takara released many toylines, including Headmasters, Super-God Masterforce, Victory, and Zone, each supported by a cartoon series.(Steve-o, The Transformers) This project largely takes a Hasbro focused approach to the analysis of Transformers history. I have chosen this approach because, as an American, I personally am more familiar with Hasbro’s offerings. Moreover, as seen with Combiner Wars and Unite Warriors, Hasbro and Takara’s offerings are often roughly analogous, even though they differ in some broad details. This is especially true since the advent of Power of the Primes and brand unification between Takara and Hasbro.(Grum) Additionally, the primary divergence occurs in the Generation 1 era, (although Beast Wars 2 and Beast Wars Neo are both modern and), as a result, falls outside of the scope of this survey.
Fortunately, these ambiguities primarily occur on the edges of the brand. The aforementioned Soundwave was not even available at general retail, and Transformers: Dionbots consisted of a mere six figures, all of which were re-releases. For the majority of Transformers lines of significant size, supported by a cartoon, the toyline division is clear and instructive. Since we are primarily concerned with the general thrust of the history, our framework need not work for very small or very obscure lines.
One unit smaller than the toyline would be the mold. Since we are concerned with the evolution of Transformers toys with time, it is natural that we look to the toys themselves as a unit of analysis. However, the existence of the practices of redecoing and retooling make it desirable to choose the mold as the unit of analysis, rather than the figure. Redecoing a mold is the practice of rereleasing an extant mold with different plastic colors and paint operations.(ItsWalky, Redeco) Often, this is done in conjunction with minor retooling, the practice of changing the sculpt of the mold, slightly or significantly, and rereleasing it.(Steve-o, Retool) Some of the most iconic examples of these practices are the G1 seekers, that is to say, all the characters that are Starscream colored differently, like Thundercracker or Skywarp.(Steve-o, Seeker)
Changing the color of a toy, or giving it a new head, does not create a brand new mold. The adoption of the mold as the unit of analysis prevents us from discussing in detail every single deco change of a mold, which can be reissued with new color schemes anywhere between 2 and 30 times. What is interesting, new, and essential is the mold itself.
This unit is also flawed, especially as the late modern period draws on. The practice of extensive retooling has become common, where the same core engineering is used with several heavily modified parts to create very different figures. Examples of this include the Titans Return Triggerhappy, Scourge and Doublecross/Twinferno molds.(Steve-o, Retool) Triggerhappy was used as his fellow targetmasters, Misfire and Slugslinger, Scourge was used as Highbrow and Windblade. When the retooling is this extensive, it becomes difficult to say what exactly constitutes a new mold. However, this kind of very extensive retooling is a fairly recent phenomenon, and the examples listed above are the most ambiguous instances of it. For most purposes, what constitutes a new mold is fairly straightforward.
This project will conduct a line by line survey of every Transformers toyline from Beast Wars until the contemporary era. I will discuss the important features of every line, and some of the aesthetic choices made within toy lines and their evolution. I will examine the relationship between fiction and toys, the evolution of toy engineering practices, and the appearance and proliferation of key concepts, such as CHUG lines. In so doing, I hope to outline a structured vision for understanding the history of Transformers toylines, and to tell the story of the dynamics of these same toylines. I hope you enjoy this journey with me.

Are u doing matchups? I'm a 5'1 smol chub girl with red (dyed) hair and green eyes. I'm an quiet person and and usually independent and reserved. But with friends i make tons of shitty references and memes and when i get excited talk way to fast to understand. I am usually a stay inside person, if if I'm invited to go somewhere 1 on 1(maybe 2, depends really) i'll go. I enjoy drawing, writing and science and when i do something, i won't stop until i see it through. Thank you(MTMTE, TFA, or TFP)
I match you with….. Jetfire & Jetstorm (TFA)
(You can choose either, or both)
They are the most adorable Autobots you have every meet and they love you with all their spark. This undying love and dedication comes with a price though, the price being frequent cuddles and random trips anywhere on Earth. They actually didn’t realize they even had a crush on you in the beginning. They just felt a weird sensation in their spark when they first saw you smile and were curious. One thing lead to another and you guys are together. They adore when you ramble, talking about something you’re passionate about. Not only is your voice music to their audio receptors, but they love seeing you happy and yourself. You will never have to worry about anything ever again, they will always have your back, even if it conflicts with Sentinel Prime’s orders (the earth Autobot team cover the twins, so you don’t have to work about them getting into huge trouble over you).
“Thanks for coming with me to get the game (Y/n). Bee was a little busy.” Sari thanks, admiring the case of said game before shoving it back into the shopping bag. You smile down at her.
“No problem Sari, everyone at base was a bit occupied.” You remember, “What’s even going on anyway?”
“Oh! I totally forgot to tell you. Sentinel and his royal guard are coming by today, something to do with the Decepticons.” Sari explains.
“So just Sentinel Prime and Jazz?” You question.
“No, there are two more bots you haven’t meet yet, Jetfire and Jetstorm. They’re twins, I think, and have this thick accent. They are cool bots, no worries.” Sari rambles. You nod, maybe you could just go home after you drop of Sari. You did not want to deal with Sentinel today. It would have to be in and out fast before any of the guys saw you, Optimus and the others really worried the Decepticons might try to -
Your thoughts are cut off as the building next to you falling apart and Lugnut emerging from the dust cloud and rumble. You grab Sari and pull her behind a nearby car.
“I would call the bots before Lugbutt over there spots us.” You suggest, Sari was already on her phone dialing away. You peek out from behind the car and see Lugnut looking around, eyeing every human that was running around screaming. His eye locks with yours and one of his hands swing up to his head (probably to activate a com link, just like how the Autobot’s work).
“I have eyes on one of the targets.” He states. You quickly duck back behind the car.
“Sari, whats the ETA on the team?” You ask nervously.  You could hear Lugnut yell at someone over his com (about his one eye and some comment about that triple changer), but his voice was getting closer and closer.
“I have found them both Lord Megatron.” Another voice calls from above you and Sari. You both look up and see Starscream hovering overhead. Just then someone finally answers Sari’s  phone.
“Sari, where are yo-” Bee starts. You and Sari dart in different directions as Starscream reaches towards you two.
“Downtown! They’re after us!” You here Sari scream into her phone before she sprints into a nearby alley.
“You go after that one Lugnut, I’ll get the bratt.” Starscream orders, turning to follow Sari.  Lugnut looms over you, eye glowing menacingly. You instantly turn on your heels and run in the opposite direction. The ground shakes under you as Lugnut takes chase. The shaking ground causes you to stumble about, running into poles and bumping into parked cars as you flee.
“You won’t get away from me!” Lugnut yells. You were starting to believe him. No matter how fast you ran he only seemed to get closer and closer. It definitely didn’t help your case when you made a quick turn down a side street (to try and juke Lugnut and lose him) and became tangled in your own feet, causing you to fall and slide across the pavement. Lugnut doesn’t turn as fast as you and continues down the street, trying to stop. You groan and turn over so you’re sitting on your butt, your arms sting and pulse from the fall. You hiss and examine them, but quickly remember you have a much, much bigger problem than simple cuts or bruises. Lugnut had recovered from his pass-by and was now towering over you.
“Got you.” He sneers, reaching out. Before you could react a loud cheer fills the air just seconds before Lugnut is rammed by something, pushing him back down the street, away from you.
“(Y/n)!” You hear Optimus call. You stand up as he, Sentinel, and Jazz pull up next to you. They all transform, Optimus looks down at you concerned, “Are you ok?”
“I’ll survive, what about Sari?” You ask, the sound of a nearby explosion causes you to flinch away. A pillar of smoke rises from the distance.
“Prowl and the otha’ boys on your team ar gettin’ her.” Jazz states. You nod, knowing those guys could take care of Screamer easily. You start to brush off the dust from your clothes as Sentinel approaches Optimus.
“Guess you were right Optimus, for once, the Decepticons actually did go after your humans. Just another weakness making you unable to handle a team.” Sentinel retorts, you roll your eyes at the comment. Before Optimus had a chance to say anything a jet goes zooming past the group above the city.
“There goes Screamer, guess the others were able to take him.” Optimus notes, choosing to ignore Sentinels comment.
“I’ll go help Jetfire and Jetstorm with Lugnut.” Jazz says, running past the bots. No sooner did Jazz disappear around the street did Prowl, Bee, and Bulkhead round the adjacent corner, Sari sitting in Bees front seat.
“The game survived!” Bee and Sari cheer as the bots transform.
“Everything’s taken care of Optimus, though there was plenty of damage.” Prowl reports.
“Ya! Starscream turned tail and ran when he saw how outnumbered he was.” Bulkhead laughed.
“The big Decepticon is gone!” A new voice cheers. The guys move to the side as Jazz and two other bots walk towards the group. They must be Jetfire and Jetstorm, but you had no idea which was which.
“That was a close one!” Sari comments.
“Yes, way too close, we’ll need to…” Optimus trails off. You look at Optimus confused and follow his gaze to find the two new bots… staring down at you. You shuffle uncomfortably under their gaze, looking away, but offering a small wave.
“Hi?” You say nervously, what if these new bots were not as cool as Sari said they were…
“Who are you?” The blue one asks.
“Oh, you guys haven’t met yet. Jetfire, Jetstorm that’s (Y/N) another one of our human friends.” Bulkhead explains.
“(Y/n)?” They both mumble. You look between the other bots confused.
“Well.. I guess I owe you two a thank you for saving me.” You state, smiling up at them.
“What am I? Spare parts?” Jazz jokes, you laugh softly, trying to hide it behind your hand.
“Thank you to Jazz.” You add.
“Well, now that everyone knows everyone, can we leave this disgusting city!” Sentinel complains.
“We can head back to base.” Optimus says, turning to address the earth team, “Once there we’ll need to figure out some kind of guard situation with (Y/n) and Sari so we can avoid another situation like today.”
“Bee and Bulkhead can be my guards, right?” Sari questions.
“Ya! We’re already around each other 24/7.” Bee adds. You nod in agreement, the three of them were practically inseparable.
“Guess we’ll have to figure out mine when we-” You start, being cut off by the twins.
“We volunteer!” They say simultaneously. What follows is a lot of laughing from Jazz, an angry Sentinel. And some very, very confused looks from the earth Autobot crew. They give you a questioning look. You just shrug, just as confused as the rest of them.

How I Made $24,982 as a Coach in May 2018

How I Made $24,982 as a Coach in May 2018
Tumblr media
Welcome to my May 2018 income report, where I show you how much money I made as an online coach by sharing REAL numbers.
Before we get into this, I’m going to address the elephant in the room…
Why in the world do I publish a monthly income report?
I’m so glad you asked.
I share numbers for three reasons…
1) I want to destigmatize money talk for women. Anything related to money talk was “bad” when I was growing up. Also, there was always this sense that people who earned good money were doing something bad. I believe the best way to deal with a problem is to air that shit out. #transparency
2) I also do this as a reminder of what’s possible when you co-create with the Universe. Real life people out here are indeed doing truly good things and experiencing abundance through making money online. You can’t manifest what you can’t even imagine as real. I’m a real human and this is real life.
3) In the online space, there is a LOT of talk about numbers. Many people find that they shift into belief that a big money month is possible, but doing it CONSISTENTLY isn’t. This is a very prevalent belief. I have been consistent for a long time, and I want you to see that. And, I hope that you understand that I am not a sparkly special super-human. You can do this too. I have witnessed my clients double and triple incomes. I see it ALL THE TIME. This is real life.
Oh and if you think “money shouldn’t be talked about,” you’re probably going to struggle to sell your products/services, so I challenge you to take this moment to consider why we can talk about EVERYTHING ELSE with regard to business, but not money… #pedestalmuch?
For the record, I didn’t always find it easy to write these posts. It used to be super scary, but I believe it’s incredibly important.
How was business income in May 2018?
I earned $24,982 through my online coaching business in May 2018 before expenses.
I’ve been sharing reports since May 2017. I shifted from traditional marketing and business consulting to coaching in January 2017. That first month in coaching, I earned $3,000.
In those days, I was using multiple payment systems (Paypal, Shopify, plus bank transfer) and it was pretty messy and hard to track. As my business grew, I found better business tools. In May 2017, I started using Moonclerk, which made creating purchase links and tracking money so easy – and that’s when I began releasing my income reports.
Here is the breakdown of the numbers over time:
May 2017: $12,124
June 2017: $17,052
July 2017: $12,873
August 2017: $22,010.50
September 2017: $14,991
October 2017: $18,895
November 2017: $20,336
December 2017: $13,473
January 2018: $21,380
February 2018: $30,990
March 2018: $25,268.50
April 2018: $22,623.50
May 2018: $24,982
The above numbers are actual CASH received (sometimes called “banked money). This is important because many online coaches and course creators share what’s called “booked money.”
What’s the difference between banked money and booked money?
Banked money is simply CASH. It’s the amount of money that was actually processed in sales that month (before fees and expenses).
Booked money includes “future money” that you booked through sales.
Take, for example, October 2017. That month, I earned $18,895 in actual cash, but if you include the future money that I booked, the number is $38,475.
For the month of October, I was primarily selling my private mastermind. Most people choose the payment plan for coaching programs, rather than the pay-in-full option, so their initial payments add up to that cash (banked) number. To get the booked number, you add up the total value of all of the purchases made for the life of the contracts for sales made during the month of October.  So, while someone may have paid just $999 down, their total contract may add up to $6,000. That $999 is the only number going into the banked figure, but the $6,000 can go into booked.
Booked numbers are often a LOT higher than banked numbers, which is why you so often see people share them (and they don’t always disclose it’s a booked number, unfortunately). It’s a way to inflate your numbers without “technically” lying, but ya know, not so cool, if you ask me.
How I made money online in May 2018:
My income in May 2018 came primarily from recurring payments from the group currently running in my private mastermind, as well as down payments for the upcoming group.
There were really two big things that allowed me to make consistent income with my coaching business:
1. Taking payment plans for programs was an absolute game changer in my coaching business.
My private mastermind is six months long, which generally includes a down payments and monthly payments. This is great for my clients, because it allows them to pay over time, rather than one big lump sum, and it also creates consistency for me. Lots of coaches prefer to only do pay-in-full business, and I get that. For me, creating consistent and predictable income is of massive importance, as my husband and I run this business together and we have two kiddos to support! This business is our only income.
2) Creating overlapping programs and mastermind groups.
While my private mastermind is six months long, I open it up every three months to new clients. This means that I always have payment plans running instead of every single round of payments starting and ending (!) at the same time.
Additionally, I run smaller courses throughout the year and always offer payment plans. Again, this is a bonus for those clients who don’t necessarily have the program payment upfront, but can do smaller amounts over time and it affords me the consistency that I prefer. It’s a win all around.
What were the expenses for the business?
I would happily share all of our business expenses, but this isn’t something we originally included in our income reports. (Hello from the future! lol)
It’s a really important thing to keep track of, and as our business has grown, we’ve become much more focused on these types of things.
For the purposes of transparency and giving you a good sense of what a real business looks like, I will give you a “flyover” view by putting things in categories. This was a bigger month for expenses, as we did a lot of migrating (from Squarespace to WordPress, Convertkit to Infusionsoft), as well as made some big purchases in branding and ads.

Quick Note About Our Migrations
Hello from the future again! I wanted to jump in here and tell you a bit about our experience after having been with WordPress and Infusionsoft (both big migrations that happened this month) for quite a while now.
Squarespace to WordPress
I absolutely *LOVE* Squarespace. It’s truly the perfect platform to start on if you need a quick website. It is easy to use and offers beautiful, customizable templates. It gives you a professional look without a lot of work to do it. In fact, I put together my first Squarespace site in a single evening!
Ultimately, we moved to WordPress.org because there are more options for customizing and building out the site. WordPress isn’t a simple, quick builder, but what it is is massively powerful. WordPress.org is basically THE WAY TO GO for max customizing ability.
That said, it can be tricky! One of the things that really changed the game for us was finding Thrive Architect, which helped us in building pages in WordPress. When I found it, I was at my absolute wits end (lol, but really). You can read about why I love Thrive right here, but suffice it to say, I *LOVE* Thrive. It’s weirdly affordable and totally makes building our pages so much easier. If you do move to WordPress, find a themes builder like Thrive that makes building pages easier and save yourself the headache I experienced!
Also, if you go with WordPress.org, you’ll need a host. I didn’t do enough research and initially chose Bluehost, which was just TERRIBLE. Ultimately after having lots of problems (site breakages, email-to-side issues, on and on) that only could be fixed temporarily with bandaids, we found a developer who said in no uncertain terms, “Bluehost is notorious for this. Switch.”
So, we did. We found Siteground and simply switching fixed ALL OF OUR ISSUES in one day. Also, their customer service was bomb. I highly recommend them!
Convertkit to Infusionsoft
As of this writing, I’m still with Infusionsoft. It technically has more capabilities than Convertkit, but if I had it to do all over again, I would NEVER have switched. Convertkit wins hands down for simplicity and for that alone, I recommend it. It is a total one-stop shop for managing your email marketing and has some functionality for building opt-in pages to gather leads. Infusionsoft, on the other hand, is a complicated CRM that does offer a wide range of technical abilities. It’s just INCREDIBLY HARD TO USE and expensive by comparison. For most small businesses that I work with, Convertkit will more than cover your needs. Convertkit will save you money, manage all your email needs, and won’t make you want to throw your computer out the window. Win!
A Final Note:
Just like any other business, online coaching can be whatever you make it. It’s taken me years of trial and error to have such a successful business. In fact, this business is the fifth business I’ve owned.
I literally started this business because one of my greatest passions in life is helping women do the thing their heart most desires. It isn’t about how big the number after the dollar sign gets; it’s about helping women step out of the shadow of what she “should” do and begin pursuing the thing that truly lights her up. Personally, I’ve become a markedly better wife and mother simply by pouring my heart into something that I deeply love, instead of trading little pieces of my soul for a bi-weekly paycheck. Do I think every woman in the world needs to quit her job and become an entrepreneur? No.
But if your heart’s been calling you to do that your whole life, I’m here to show you how.
Never give up.

Wave 4 Spoiler Round-Up 2
Yep, more spoilers for Wave 4. Let’s get started on the past 2 weeks’ worth of spoilers (I am not revealing any new cards here; they have all been revealed somewhere else first). If you don’t want spoilers, turn back before the picture.
Tumblr media
First up is Private High Jump.
Tumblr media
The final member of the Off-Road Patrol, and he’s just as disappointing as the other three. He does Repurpose with his tap ability (again, not a card I’m sure was good to begin with). It does however; give you a potential team for this lot. The only thing to ponder is who to team them with. Next is Raider Kickback.
Tumblr media
Who… is very like Wave 1 Kickback. Except… this one wants a blue deck. He has Tough 1 in alt mode for each Insecticon you began the game with. Unlike Wave 1 Kickback; he does include himself! He could have Tough 4; and that will make him remarkably hard to kill (like Aimless)! And when he’s in bot mode… when one of your Insecticons attack and you flip at least 1 blue; the defender gets hit for 1 damage. This isn’t just when Kickback himself attacks; this when any of your Insecticons attack! Seems like a strong bot for me (I’m predicting a blue Insecticon deck storming into the meta). Next is Raider Sights.
Tumblr media
Who is a Battle Master who turns into a Utility when KO’d. And an interesting Utility at that; he grants Focus 2 (which I hope stacks like Pierce does) as well as +1 attack and defense! Not bad. He himself has Focus 1 before getting KO’d; unusual for a Battle Master to have an ability. Next is Private Smokescreen.
Tumblr media
Who has Safeguard 3 in alt mode (so can’t take more than 3 damage when he’s undamaged in this mode). And in Bot mode he has Focus 1 (like Arcee had in alt in Wave 3). But he also has +1 attack and defense while he has a white upgrade. My head immediately gravitates to giving him Anticipation Engine (I love that Upgrade!) but there’s also a nice one from this Wave that would work with him. Now on to Specialist Sandstorm.
Tumblr media
And a return for triple-changers! And which mode you want Sandstorm to be in will depend on what your opponent has got. If they’ve got Melee characters; he’s going to want to sit in car mode for that +2 attack. If they’ve got Ranged characters; he’ll want to be in helicopter mode for that +2 defense. And if they’ve got Specialists; you’re going to want to flip him to bot mode to strike them for 1 damage! He has each of these traits as well; depending on which mode he is in. His stats are the same whatever mode he is in; unless his conditions are met to alter them. He seems like a really versatile character to me! The only shame is he is 11 stars and won’t fit into most decks. Now on to Captain Impactor.
Tumblr media
Wreck and Rule, Wrecker Leader! The only shame with Impactor is he’s only good for giving out Bold 1 to every one when he flips to alt mode; but has it himself in bot mode. His stats are relatively solid for… he’s only 7 stars?! A 7 star tank! One that will be helpful in tank decks; I suspect. I’m happy to be proved right about him being in this Wave! Now on to Private Greenlight.
Tumblr media
A female Autobot that went un-named for quite a while. Now she has a name at last! She also has Safeguard 3 (an ability I really like; are there any Decepticons with this ability, apart from Wave 1 Skrapnel?). She also has such a helpful little ability on her alt side. Your opponent can’t scrap her upgrades! If she flips to bot mode (which I wouldn’t do very often…) she gets +1 attack when you play a green card (I like that! Greenlight wants you to play green cards!). She seems like an ok character; but not really a stand out one. Now on to…
Tumblr media
Captain Astrotrain! Another character I predicted and am very pleased to see in this Wave! He’s vanilla on all three sides… until he gets some Upgrades! In spaceship mode he has +1 defense when he defends and has at least 1 Upgrade. In train mode (another new alt; now bring us Rail Racer!) he gets +2 attack when he attacks if he has at least 2 upgrades. And finally in his best mode; bot mode, he gets +3 attack and defense when he battles if he has at least 3 upgrades! The only shame… he’s also 12 stars and again; won’t fit in many decks (but I’ll be teaming him with Blitzwing, because I want a Triple Takeover!) Next we have Private Sidetrack.
Tumblr media
A little tank; who is only 4 stars. He does Treasure Hunt with his tap ability (a card that a lot of people rate; but I personally don’t). He’s only got 3 health (one shot from a bot with a Piercing Blaster will do him in) but a high defense of 3. Next is Private Fixit.
Tumblr media
Who does System Reboot when tapped. Which isn’t all that bad, actually (since you need to scrap a card for him anyway; you don’t care about what you scrap). Personally; I would have liked him to do Medic! (If just because he’s the little Ambulance of the team). Now on to…
Tumblr media
Sergeant Thundercracker! About time we got another Thundercracker (since we’ve had a Skywarp and a Starscream every set so far!) He’s a plane that wants a black deck… Like Nova Storm. When Thundercracker flips to alt mode… you check the top card of your deck. For each black pip that card has… he flings 1 damage from one of your planes (it doesn’t have to be him) to an enemy of your choice. At the moment, at most that will be 2 damage (since there are double black pip cards). When he’s in bot mode what he does is completely different. When he attacks and you flip at least 1 black (though he’d probably like you to flip more) your opponent reveals a number of cards from their hand equal to the number of black pips you flipped. You then choose one of them to scrap. So if you only flip one black pip… Your opponent reveals a card from their hand and scraps it. His attack and defense are the same as Wave 1 Thundercracker’s on both sides, but this one has 2 more health. I think Wave 1 TC is better than this one; but we shall see. Now on to…
Tumblr media
Raider Brunt. The two part character for the Decepticons. He seems interesting; since he turns into a Weapon and an Armor when he gets KO’d. The Weapon and Armor in question aren’t particularly interesting; with them giving a decent boost to the character they are equipped to, but aren’t really anything we haven’t already seen. It’s Brunt’s ability that is the interesting bit; he makes it so enemies can’t have Bold or Tough higher than 1. That makes him a target; and gets his upgrades played nice and early! Next is his Autobot equivalent…
Tumblr media
Sergeant Six-Gun! Who turns into… two weapons? How do you put two weapons on one character? At least… One of them can be put into an Armor or Utility slot instead. Together… the two Upgrades give +4 attack and Pierce 4! Which is huge! Then there’s what Six-Gun himself does; when he attacks, you can scrap a Weapon from your hand that gives an attack boost. If you do; Six-Gun gains that much attack until the end of the turn! So… if you give him a Grenade Launcher, then use his skill to scrap Erratic Lightning… He’s got a base Attack of… 11! That makes him quite the threat too; hence getting his Upgrades played nice and early. Now, from two firsts to Raider Hyperdrive.
Tumblr media
Who is just more of the same old, same old. He does Inspiring Leadership when tapped; which is an ok card (I wonder if the Sports Car patrol have a Leader in this Wave, like the Off-Road Patrol do?).  Next on to Sergeant Crosshairs.
Tumblr media
Who wants to have Battle Master buddies! He has +2 defense in bot mode while he has a Battle Master Upgrade (my head wonders if that stacks; so if he has 2 Battle Master Upgrades, he has +4 defense). He also has 2 slots for Armor in both modes. He can also take 2 damage from one of his Battle Master buddies when he flips to alt. He seems like an interesting character… I only ponder which little buddies he’d want… Now on to Sergeant Mirage.
Tumblr media
He’s… interesting. He has Tough 2 while you have a Secret Action, either face up or face down on your field while he’s in bot mode. Not bad; if you run lots of Secret Actions and are likely to have one in play every turn. When you flip him to alt… his skill is actually very good. You look at the top card of your deck; then draw it. If that card had a blue icon; you draw another card. He seems to be angling for a blue deck… strange; since most cars want an orange one. Now on to Private Turbo Board.
Tumblr media
Hoverboard is more like it. They turn into a Hoverboard for whoever equips them. They make it so the opponent can only play at most two cards (one action, one upgrade) during their turn. So they’re going to be a target if decks are relying on playing lots of cards in one turn (like say a Captain Wheeljack deck). Which then gets their Upgrade side played quicker. And their Upgrade side is beautifully evil. They give +1 attack and defense to the upgraded character. When the upgraded character (Battlefield Legend anyone?) attacks, and you flip at least one orange and one blue, you can play one of the orange or blue cards you flipped. Which is… disgusting! I’m pleased they’re 7 stars, so you can’t run two characters with the new General Optimus if Turbo Board is teaming with him. Finally, we have…
Tumblr media
Raider Spinister! Yay for the Scavengers! (Now give us Misfire!) Spinister also would like to have Battle Master buddies. He seems to be the Decepticon version of Crosshairs; having two Weapon slots on each side. He also has +3 attack in alt mode if he has a Battle Master upgrade (Aimless anyone?) And when you flip him to bot mode; he gives +3 attack to one of your Battle Masters. His attack and defense seem a little on the low side for an 11 star character (compare his stats with Crosshairs, who is 10 stars). But I like him.
I’m pleased to see some of the characters I predicted ended up in this Wave. That was a lot of new characters this past two weeks! I hope that some characters you’d like to see (or that you predicted would be in this Wave) turn up in the next two weeks.

Training Exercise - Strafe
Overlord stalked the cells deep down in his basement. The smell of rotting fluids and singed metal, burnt oil and spilled energon filled the air. It was always there... the captives down here used to the stink. For Overlord it smelled sweet... riled his sensors up and excited him.
He was here not for pleasure today though.... but for work. Overlord wanted to share a gift with Perceptor and he could think of nothing better than a well trained pet, conditioned to obey without question. A helper to carry and fetch for him... good looking frame... he knew Perceptor had a thing for wings.
And there he was... a nervous flyer... nice colours... a little bulky but still nice on the optics. And so very fearful... He’d been a mess since Overlord had dragged him back and, as luck would have it, the triple changer had managed to avoid damaging his frame. So far...
Time to put the mech to the test... see if Strafe would make a good pet for Overlord’s current interest. There were some other bonuses to choosing this flyer as well... Strafe’s colours complimented Perceptor’s own. The mech was intelligent, hence his fear. He knew too well what Overlord could do to him. But also... perceptor knew him. Both Strafe and Perceptor were stationed aboard the  Lost Light. At least... Strafe had been. Until he’d ended up here.
“Come out now, little mech...” Overlord cracked open the door to Strafe’s cell, bright red optics peering in. “It’s play time... and there’s something I’d like to show you.”
- - - - - - -
Strafe had fought, he’d protested, screamed, done everything to try and break free, run, hold true to his Autobot code. But... in the end... there was nothing holding him together. Overlord wasn’t torturing him for some secret, for information or anything Strafe could understand... It was for the sheer enjoyment of it. At least, that was all Strafe could imagine. Why else would he be doing this to him?
Overlord had left Strafe bound and pressed into a tiny cage, wings strapped down to his back and poking out of the gaps between the bars, the mech kneeling, bent and forced into an awkward angle. The cage was barely big enough to hold Strafe and the flyer was forced to curl up tight, cables kept taut for so long that they ached. The ache flared when he was forced to move, when Overlord demanded something of him, touched him through the bars.
Snare hissed and shouted, hurled abuse at Overlord time and again, eventually so tired, in so much pain, he crumbled.
It had been days. He’d been starved, unable to move beyond a tiny wriggle of his struts and the pain... what started off as an ache had turned into a constant fire in his joints. What made it worse was that he was a flyer... there was a natural need for freedom, for room for his frame type and being kept in confined spaces like this... it was breaking him far more quickly than any other torment Overlord could inflict on him.
When Overlord finally returned, he was greeted with the sight of a cowed and desperate mech. Strafe stayed silent, watched him move. He couldn’t seem to decide between begging and keeping silent, behaving. Perhaps a little guidance would help.
“Does my pet want a walk? Hm?” Those plush lips curled in amusement, Overlord looming over the cage, leaning down and setting his servo down on the tiny cell’s bars.
A walk? Like an animal? Strafe felt a tiny burst of outrage before those words started to claw at his spark however, deepen the fire in his frame. His vents stifled, frame pressing against the cage before finally mumbling. “Yes... I want to.”
Overlord wasn’t impressed. Apparently Strafe had given him the wrong answer. He turned, slowly walking away as if to leave the mech to his torment.
Strafe’s spark whirled frantically in his chest. He pressed against the cage desperately, reaching for Overlord. “Please! I’m sorry- I.” It started to make sense... The cage... the confinement... the way Overlord had spoken to him... he wanted Strafe to play the part of an obedient pet. He’d barealy registered the collar around his neck between all the pain he’d endured...but... now it made sense.
“Please... I’d- I’d like to... please can I? I-I want to walk! It hurts!” Strafe sobbed and curled up tighter, frame shaking, shuddering as the pain seemed to amplify. “Please, for Primus’ sake let me out! Let me-” Overlord looked displeased. Had he done something wrong? Oh, pit, the monster was going to let him slowly deactivate wasn’t he... let his limbs cease to function, the fuel in his lines dribble to a stop. Strafe would die, alone and frightened in this tiny cell, in agony! Anything... anything but that! He wracked his processor to think of what the terrifying monster could want!
“Please- sir? Sir... please walk me!” It was humiliating! But his frame burned... he needed to stretch out! Needed to move! If only for a while! His wings ached and his whole frame felt like it was on fire.
“That’s better, pet... very well. I’ll take you for a little walk.”
Oh thank Primus! Unicron! Whichever god had saved him! Strafe could hardly contain his excitement, pressing against the cage door, all until OVerlord moved, leaning down towards him. That immense servo moved closer and Strafe whined aloud, pressed back as far as he could, a few measly inches. Even if his wings hadn’t been painfully strapped down to his back, they would have been pressed down in sheer terror. He was a good mech... he wouldn’t fight. There was no point... just.. please... let him move!
With a squeal of metal, the cage door swung free after days of confinement. Strafe stared up timidly at Overlord, as if suddenly afraid to leave that cell. It had been painful but... it was somehow more terrifying with nothing between OVerlord and himself now... Of course... the cage wouldn’t stop Overlord but it was some tiny comfort to have those metal bars between Overlord and himself. With that gone... Strafe suddenly felt very afraid.
“Come on now... don’t you want a walk? Out you come.” Overlord smirked, that infuriatingly smug grin nothing but a sight of horror for poor Strafe.
Nodding, swallowing thickly, the flyer tried to move, tried to crawl out of the tiny cage only to find that his struts refused to obey! They felt heavy... so heavy... and the flyer whimpered when he realised he might not get to move if he didn’t hurry up and obey.
“Come now pet... don’t misbehave... if you won’t move you won’t get your walk... or your treat. You want a treat, don’t you?”
Oh pit.... please! Please move... Strafe sobbed, whimpering, wiling his frame to move as pure agony shot down his struts. His frame shook from the ache, the stiffness and finally, blessedly, Strafe managed to move, the short shuffle from his tiny cell utterly agonising. He flinched when Overlord leaned down to clip a leash onto his collar, making a confused noise at the tug the next moment. Overlord had yanked on the leash lightly. Did he want Strafe to move? That must be it...
Slowly... whining and moaning in pain at every motion, Strafe started to crawl forward. The fire in his struts came to life, burning, agonising. He wanted to weep. Overlord was demanding however... prompting him on.
He moved, that leash tugging at his neck and the pain flaring. Even though it hurt though... it felt good... so good to move! And he knew the pain would subside... as long as he was allowed out.
A new trial would await though... Overlord pulled the leash taut, forcing Strafe to stop. He looked up to Overlord in confusion.
“Very good, pet... I think you deserve your reward now...”
Strafe yelped when he saw servos descend, feared he was finally going to be killed, torn to pieces- but then-
“Ohhhhh! Mhh... ohhh ohhhhh Primus! Mhh.h... ahhn...” Servos descended on his plating, not tearing, not punishing. They were soft, gentle, easing the pain and massaging away the terrible aches plaguing Strafe.
It was humiliating but the flyer couldn’t force himself to keep quiet! It just- it felt too good!
“You were good today... and good pets are rewarded... remember that.”
