FUCK Liam Payne! I will no longer support OT5 and I don’t even want a 1D reunion anymore. It’s so disgusting how so many of you defend these boys actions, but especially Liam, in light of everything that has come out. Maya Henry has every right to speak about her experiences. And it’s gross that I’m seeing literal threads and tweets upon tweets of people calling her a liar and saying all these horrible things. You’re proving Liam right! “No one will believe you anyways and the fans will always defend us!”

Is that not absolutely horrifying to yall? That this man is weaponizing his fanbase against women that he has treated poorly? And yall continue to enable him! I know I’m ranting and no one probably cares but some of the tweets I saw defending Liam were so triggering and upsetting. Trending hashtags like #FreeLiam and #WeLoveYouLiam when a woman CONFIRMED that he abused her is just so sickening. This is why women don’t come forward. This is especially why victims of celebrities and people in power don’t come forward. Because this is how they’re treated. Maya literally even confirmed that Liam and his team have tried to silence her and didn’t want the book to come out. I just… there are no more words.

This whole situation is so triggering… I’m so angry and upset.

Hey guys... So like. Did we know that before Thom Pike was a tour manager, he was a drummer in a band (Falling With Style) with 3/4 guys who would later become Holding Absence? Is this common knowledge, or have I stumbled upon gold?

I knew about Sam Hallett being in Blood Youth before working as a tech, and Thom working with them on tour, and I also did know Thom and the HA guys went way back*. But this I didn't know!! How cool!!

* Adamross and the rest of Glass Heart was also already working with him at this time btw. The connections are connecting.

Referring back to that recent post from @sleepanonymous, I am now wondering if George Lever also produced their stuff from before, given he has worked on both early Holding Absence and Sleep Token, and if that's how they all met 👀

(more ramblings bellow the cut, nothing interesting just me being insane. also i just think it's cool how all of these bands and people are connected. nothing more)

So. Timeline of events that I know of:

2015 - Falling With Style ends

2016 - Thom is now a Tour Guy ; Sleep Token and Holding Absence are born ; George Lever is producing for both bands

(and then there's that Carl Bown/B4MV thing somewhere around here)

2018 - Thom has been working as Tour Manager for Holding Absence and Blood Youth ; Adam and the (would-be) Glasses are part of his crew ; Sleep Token is touring with HA and Loathe (also G. Lever prod.) as an opening band ; enter Espera (🥹🥰💕😚💘🤭 this has nothing to with the post but I just like to think about them)

2019 - Thom is officially managing ST (probably 2018 too? idk about before) ; Glass Heart is born (again not entirely relevant but I stay on my GH propaganda always. Adam say thank you baby 💎🩵)

Then we have those collabs etc etc ; Sam leaves the band and becomes a Tech guy ; FTRB ; George stops producing (🥺🥲) ; enter Carl Bown ; ENTERS COOL MF VESSEL THE FOURTH (our ivy)

January 2023 - Sam Hallett joins the fold (🥹💙) ; the first singles of TMBE are released ; World Domination etc etc

This has been in my drafts a really long time! A little bit of established relationship something and about as suggestive as my fic gets which is not very? haha (basically Eddie is sweaty and Steve likes it)

Sweat drips down Eddie’s forehead, plastering his hair to his skin, trickles down the back of his neck; his shirt sticks to him, uncomfortable in the cool night air as he slips out the back door of The Hideout. It’s all part of the rock and roll game, and he loves it, but he wouldn’t say no to a clean shirt. Before he makes it to his van to get one, there are footsteps behind him, and then arms winding around his waist.

“You looked really hot out there.”

There’s no one else around, Eddie can see that and he knows Steve would have checked, but his heart leaps all the same. “I’m literally dripping with sweat so, yeah, pretty hot.”

Steve snorts into the back of his neck. “You know what I mean.”

“I do.” Eddie wriggles in his hold. “C’mon, man, let me get a clean shirt at least. Like I said, I’m really sweaty.”

“I know.” Steve buries his face in Eddie’s hair. “I like it.” He nuzzles in, managing to push Eddie’s hair aside with his nose, and breathes in deep.

Heat rushes Eddie and he swallows thickly, heart beating hard. He manages to turn in Steve’s hold and he looks at him. “You like that I’m sweaty?” When Steve nods, Eddie looks Steve up and down, raising a brow. “How much do you like it?”

“I don’t know.” Steve’s brow furrows; he steps back a little. “A regular amount.”

“Uh-huh.” Eddie studies the color in Steve’s cheeks, the darkness in his eyes. A regular amount. Sure. “What do you like about it?”

“It’s just sexy, I guess.” Steve lifts a shoulder. “Haven’t really thought about it.”

Oh, he’s definitely thought about it. Eddie grins, tongue between his teeth. “You kinda sniffed me before, too, you know…” He trails off, brows raised, hoping Steve will fill in the gap.

But he only crosses his arms and says, “What? No, I didn’t.”

“Mm, yeah, you did.” Eddie huffs, deciding not to push that line. “You’re kind of a freak, you know?” Finding out all of Steve’s weirdness has been Eddie’s mission for a while now, and he’s fucking giddy to find something new to add to his mental list. And, yeah, this isn’t that weird at all, but he still loves it.

There’s a flash of something that might be hurt before Steve must see the delight on Eddie’s face and he rolls his eyes. “So are you.”

“Never said I wasn’t, Steve,” Eddie says, grinning again, blood singing like an electric guitar when Steve grins back. He lets Steve pull him into the shadows and kiss him, hot and deep.

Steve’s hands slide under Eddie’s shirt, slipping through the slick of sweat at the small of his back, the softest moan escaping him. Eddie’s breath hitches and he holds Steve tighter. They kiss and kiss and kiss, all thoughts of a clean shirt long forgotten.

‘the children yearn for the mines’ is a little too real to me bc when i was a kid and my older siblings were trying to get me into pokémon i really never cared to try playing. BUT. i was obsessed with the underground mining minigame in dppt. i used to beg my sister to let me take a turn playing and set it up for me bc i didn’t know how to so i could go mine for gems nonstop until i cleared that entire cave section of glittering wall spots which always made me so sad bc i was having such a great time. i didn’t even understand the significance of what i was doing but 7 year old me was high off of it
