GUESS WHO STARTED A DURGE GAME!!!! Had to install a couple mods to get him to look right but OURGH!!! Meet Valexi. He is probably one of THE edgiest character I've ever made besides maybe Morrow or Callum...

He's a great old one warlock who loves to just demolish people with eldritch blasts. He doesn't like the thoughts in his head and he's actively trying to ignore them but sometimes he can't and it eats him up inside.

I have another tiefling character (druid) I wanna make to draw stuff with Rolan but he probably won't be made in-game unless they have a romance route with him somehow. If they ever make one I am slamming the new game button SO hard.

Silly Game Time: Who are some of your favorite magician characters? And what do you like about them?

They can be of any class or variety of magic-user (wizard, witch, sorcerer, warlock, healer, druid, etc.), of any race or species, so long as using magic is *primarily* their thing in the story. Not just something they do occasionally, but something that is a major element of their role and their identity.

Callum from tdp (the dragon prince) i think thats like the only magic i know other than like disney stories or smth 😭😭

Ok so the first over arching mystery of my story, Arcane Detective's Club, has the two main characters Salem and Callum find a magic amulet that is actually a Warlock, named Aldric, who was locked away inside of it. It plays a bit role in season 1 of the story and because Aldric is stuck inside the Amulet it transfers his magic profeciency to the Amulet, which is Absorption and amplification. This allows Callum and Salem to amplify their magic to make it stronger or to absorb magic to then use it against others. In the same story, Alais has a magic hat that works as a pocket dimension that can hold an infinite amount of things within it. and Deja has a magic stopwatch that was given to vem by the school to control ver time travel magic.

Im my story Familiar Magic, all the familiars have special gems that are connected to their magical's that can help the familiars transform into a powered up magical form in battle. for example, Bella's allows you to turn into a magical Jackelope form when fighting.

If your OC has some kind of magical trinket or piece of jewelry, describe it! What's the significance it has to your character?

some revisions on this lore now that he’s more fleshed out:

his mother was a 19 year old formerly enslaved drow woman, when bhaal created silkrii there wasn’t enough dead god flesh so the evil fetus was incubated in her dead body.

he’s 72 years old

his adoptive mothers were a dwarf and high elf woman. he has a younger brother Callum (3 years younger) who was away at a camp when Silkrii’s urge awoke. He had a baby sister who died along with his adoptive moms. (Minthara got pissed when she learned he committed double matricide and she hasn’t yet)

after meeting kressa again he finds his other hair piece but instead of adding it back on removed both. (his hair piece in art is actually a swirl like the ones on bhaals symbol).

he probably became a warlock after getting got by Orin, it’s a little complicated since I am canonically his patron so it gets confusing when we actually made the pact since I “watched” his whole life.

his adoptive family’s name was Lastfront

he got his facial scar from Orin however most of his other scars are from general bhaalist life. obviously his autopsy scar is from Kressa.

Maybe have created another Dark Urge (i will inevitably get all the way to Shar’s Gauntlet then get too stressed to finish the game.

Some things I have about him so far:

His name is dovahzul (elder scrolls) and the dnd lore reason is “i said so”

he was created via some weird bhaal shoved some of his own dead flesh into a drow (maybe dead) woman’s womb and therefore Silkrii was “born”

he’s probably going to romance astarion (probably not halsin) and he did have a romantic relationship with Gortash.

hes ~80 years old

he’s bisexual and leans toward women

since he technically does how drow genes (umbilical cord maternal dna/mitchondria) he feels most comfortable in the underdark

He was raised just outside of baldurs gate by a half-high-elf mom and dwarf mom. he had two brothers. His urge awoke at 12 years old.

His favorite meal is a beef stew, he likes fruity wine and bad ale

He lost his other hairpiece to Kressa, not entirely sure if he remembers ever having two.

Because of being used to having two metal decorations for years he slightly tilts his head to his left when talking to someone

he cannot translate his own tattoos anymore

He became a warlock for power while trying to rise in bhaalist ranks, bhaal was not amused but let it go in favor of a powerful spawn

Terrible first meetings • Always Accepting

He wasn’t completely sure what he walked into, or even who or what this guy was. There was a darkness to his aura, but it wasn’t like the vampires. It seemed to shift, swirling almost, between the light and the dark. What did it mean?

“Look, man, I can’t really say I’ve actually seen anything,” he held his hands up, taking a cautious step back, “I don’t want any trouble, alright? I can’t even really see your face.”

If he stepped back again, maybe he could focus less on the details of the man before him. The dark swirling of his aura was already enough to tell him to avoid him. Niko had never seen anything like it before, and surely not on someone who was clearly up to no good.

Okay. Instead of covers there's gods, so everyone's more like warlocks. Head of the Isles, Jonah Magnus, unified all witches centuries ago by placing a system so that everyone can only make a deal with one god, having a ceremony on their 16th birthday and training for all their childhood to be suitable for said god.

Since then the Isles have been ruled by a Head, all of whom are to make pacts with the Eye. Eyepocolapse rules as well, so all the warlocks are under the authority of the Eye. Every other God also has a representative acolyte, like a coven head.

Jon the human getting transported to the demon realm as a child, chasing a weird spider. So he's almost like Anne from Amphibia, he's just hiding out in the woods for a few years until local magicless witch finds him.

Said magicless witch is Georgie, cursed as a child to be barred away from ever making a pact by her inability to feel fear. Her and the Admiral, her weirdly powerful cat, take Jon in and they all immediately become friends.

The Institute is where most warlocks train to take in their god. And within the institute is the Archives, a program supervised by Elias (current Head of the Isles) himself, where Avatar Representatives take on an apprentice.

There's Tim who learns under Nikola Orsinov. His brother used to be her apprentice as well, but died soon after making his pact with the Stranger. Tim plans to make his pact with the same god, seeing if he can bargain for his brother back and maybe learn to harness Stranger magic (one of the most difficult pacts). And maybe kill Nikola, who is rumored to be the one to take Danny's life.

There's Sasha under Micheal Distortion, who has had a knack for the Spiral since she was a baby. But she hates it, the attention from teachers and from her god hates the illogicalness she causes and the need to tear her friends (even if Micheal says they are all to be fake) from the in side out with lies. She's here to tear the Spiral apart from the seams, mapping it out and finding patterns.

And then Martin of the Lonely under Peter Lukas. He was taken in as a boy to be part of the Lonely, and has gotten quite good at banishing people to his domain, summoning and disappearing into the fog, and finding lonely people to leech on, even without a pact yet. The latter ability is the reason he's friends with Tim and Sasha, the only two apprentices in the whole place that don't want anything to do with their god.

Let's get into the Avatar Representatives!

Enrique MacMillan of the Buried, obsessed with finding the supposed "hidden treasure" on the Isles. He takes no apprentices.

John Amherst of the Corruption, able to make a person fatally ill with a touch (though they don't die unless he says so) or with any object he inscribes his magic into. His apprentice is Jane Prentiss, who let's bugs live under her skin and seems... borderline enamored with her god.

Maxwell Rayner of the Dark and his assistant/field agent/dragon Manuela Domiguez. The Dark has the youngest apprentice, Callum Brodie, of the whole Archive, a prodigy with the ability to spin tales of monsters and make them true, as long as a person is thinking of them in the dark. Rayner is pretty aloof, so Manuela usually attends to meetings and Callum's studies.

Agnes Montague of the Desolation, one of the newest Avatars, yet to take an apprentice. Not much is seen of her, but other people with the same god tend to not like her much, calling her a spoiled brat or a child protégé. Rumor is she burnt her mentor to a crisp while she was an apprentice, earning her the Representative position.

Oliver Banks of the End, taking over after Nathaniel Thorp went missing. He is generally outlasted by the other Representatives, not exactly well liked for his tendency to give prophesies about their deaths at the staff parties.

Jared Hopworth of the Flesh, earning the Representative position after Angela had been fully consumed by her god. He's rather experimental in his practices, and will try magic out on himself.

Trevor Herbert of the Hunt, never really seen at the Archive. Or at announcements or really by the Head at all, actually. Elias probably prefers that, as Trevor does not act like he's of as much importance as he is. Him and his apprentice, Julia Montauk, are usually on excursions to kill monsters or discovering new Hunt magic practices.

Peter Lukas of the Lonely, coming from a long line of Lonely Reps. He never planned to take an apprentice, but Elias forced him to make use of Martin, the boy he took in years ago, and mold him into a Rep so he doesn't become too powerful without someone to control him.

Newest Rep, Melanie King of the Slaughter, gaining her position after Alfred Grifter had quit. Certainly angry enough to be a Slaughter Avatar, she is reluctant to take the job after she said the Slaughter "betrayed her" by mutilating her leg and leaving her blind. But Elias let's her keep the magic and gives her the position, mostly if not to keep an eye on her.

Micheal Distortion of the Spiral, formerly Micheal Shelley before a higher up tasked him with studying the god. His apprentice, Sasha James, enacts as his assistant, telling her to make friends to lie to and to study her innate Spiral magic.

Nikola Orsinov of the Stranger, not much is known about her, funny enough. Her apprentice is Tim Stoker, motivated by his brother and his brother's death to be part of this god.

Simon Fairchild of the Vast has taken many apprentices over the years, claiming them to be part of his family. His most recent apprentice is Mike Crew.

The Web of course has a Rep, even an apprentice of Annabelle Cane, but no one knows who they are. The only thing Annabelle ever publicly refers to him as is Mr. Spider. Even Elias doesn't elaborate on the mystery to the public.

And of course Getrude Robinson of the Eye, having not taken an apprentice since her last one, Gerard Keay, was taken by Elias to be his personal guard. But after Jon the human is caught sneaking into the Archive in his own burning curiosity, Elias forces her to take him as her apprentice, much to her dismay.

But a human? Oh ho HO. Those guys are terrified of everything, and soon all the gods want the human to be theirs, even if he's under Elias's and Gertrude's direct protection.

And even when Georgie offers him to stay with her, a safe haven where Elias won't find him, Jon refuses. There's just... so many new things to discover. He wants to figure out who Elias is, why Gerard works with him, who the Web rep is, what Gertrude's deal is... he can't just leave when there's so much to uncover.

Plus, Tim and Sasha are right. The best way to take down the operation is from the inside. He keeps in contact with Georgie, consigning to study in the Archive, where everyone is trying to kidnap/convince/possess/kill onto their side, to help them take it down.

Hiro wrapped his arm around his fiancé, taking in his natural scent that had changed slightly due to him being pregnant and an underlying, barely there, scent that Hiro could only associate with Micah. Just thinking his name and smelling a hint of his scent on his husband made his chest ache. "Micah called this morning. He and Callum are coming to stay with us for a while because the threats are getting worse in LA." He said as he scents him again. "You should tell him he's going to be a father when he gets here, hani." He said knowingly, having put two and two together with the underlying scent that came with the baby in his fiancé's belly.

Micah helped Callum sit up, wrapping his arm around him and scenting him gently. "This little one is taking a lot out of you isn't it?" He asks softly, catching the underlying scent of the child that was barely there mixed with the sweet scent of pregnancy. He knew that scent, Hiro, and instead of his fox being angry hid mate was pregnant by another man he felt....happy?...about it, though the scent of Hiro lingering on his husband's skin tugged at his heard in a way he hadn't felt since the one time he had to go out of town for work and leave Callum behind. "Mate" his fox supplied in his mind. Thinking of King made the same ache appear in his chest as he thought of him too. "We are moving to Tokyo with Hiro and King, immediately. I've been getting more and more serious threats at work and I think it would be safer for us if we moved with them there where I know we will be safe. I have warlock friends in Tokyo that will keep us hidden and you can finally tell Hiro that he's going to be a father." He says, giving him a knowing look that held no anger, only happiness.

New Opportunities and Hard Decisions

Hiro was at a crossroads career wise and he wasn't sure how to feel about the offer that he just got. The thought of going back to Japan was a bit nerve wracking for Hiro since he hadn't been back since his pack died years ago and he was adopted by Joon. He knee that the Tokyo pack was larger and had plenty of protection from the warlocks and Fae in the area and that nephilim in Tokyo were Pro-Downworlder like the nephilim in New Orleans, New York, and LA but the memories attached to the small village a couple of hours south of Tokyo was what left him unsettled. He spoke at length with his dad and his best friend, Micah, who thought the opportunity was too good to pass up despite his reservations about returning to Japan. He hadn't talked to King since he received the offer. He was so lost in thought he almost didn't hear King get home. He was at the table, his head in his hands as he mulled over the option. "Hey, hani." He says giving King a small smile. "Come sit down. I need to talk to you about something kinda important."

A look at my D&D journal. Theodore Druett/Callum Hawthorne’s an undead rogue/warlock and an amnesiac, so I’m planning on capturing on his journey through images as he tries to figure out who he is. Theodore’s patron is the ringleader of a spooky carnival that he was a part of before his adventures began.

I made journal entries for each of the nations of the world that we’re playing in. It’s fun trying to capture the essence of each country via images.
