Last vamptober post I’m gonna share. I never finished it and I don’t care enough for the other ones I did do so I’ll keep them to myself lol. Gabriel meeting with @irrealis-mood ‘s character, Uriel. They’re a best friend duo that I dubbed the L.A. Angels coterie since they both have angel names :D

First of Hearthfire, 3E 433— Middling merchant vessel moored in Anvil Harbour, identified as The Mariana-Elaine by its captain. The crew and captain seemed to have a grim look, pale and shivering. Two nobles came ashore. Ser Esme of Port Dufroid and their handmaiden, Vadine Ragothyn. The two seemed in good spirits, though verily soaked in the frigid downpour. They explained they had been rescued by the crew of The Mariana-Elaine after their own vessel had capsized, and had been visiting from a holding in coastal Wrothgar. Ser Esme gave their sympathies to the harbormaster upon being informed of the recent assassination of Emperor Uriel Septim VII just 5 days prior. These dark times may grow darker, still, they remarked.

7.3.24: GTKMO: Issue # 2: Seraphine

Welcome to the second issue of Get to Know My OC, focusing on the original content part of Fantasy Worlds Collide. I decided to focus his issue on Seraphine, the biological mother to Bianca Moore.

As I explained in the last issue of GTKMO, I wanted to give Bianca to resemble the ‘blood of the ancients’ line that Sephiroth said in Final Fantasy 7. For Bianca, Blood of the Ancients meant celestial parenting. Both of her parents were archangels before her father’s own fall from Grace. Her mother, a watcher, is an archangel who was sent to the mortal realms to watch over mortals and keep the balance of all realms.

Seraphine’s name is not really that complicated. When I rewrote Bianca Moore’s biography, I named her Seraphine because of her being a seraphim race. I had a much harder time of deciding a name for her that called out to me and said ‘hold up, NL. That’s her name’.

For my angels, I try to keep them sounding like biblical counterparts, but this didn’t exactly work for Seraphine. At least, for me, it didn’t. One name that she went by was Uriel before I changed that angel’s role in my AU. I still had the problem where no biblical name sounded right when I was naming this character.

It wasn’t until I added different combinations of letters to seraphim until I came across the combination of Seraphine. I don’t know exactly what jumped out about it, but I thought it was perfect and a wonderful fit for the self-sacrificing angel who has guided Bianca through all of her life as a living conscious, as some sort of angelic Jimmy Cricket.

"You got her armor unlocked?"

"Yeah, but we got bigger problems, Captain."

Immediately, John rushed over to Thel so that he can carry Kelsey himself. Just as swiftly as he could and without hurting her, John had her in his arms in a bridal carry. Without even knowing what was wrong with her, he dashed towards the medical room.

"What's wrong with Kelsey?" Lasky asked, with him and the group following John as they went. As they did, Sergeant Moore contacted the head medical examiner, Daisy Johnson, to prepare a check up on the rescued Spartan.

"She's in a coma, stage one." Charlie repeated. "I did a quick check up and it didn't look serious. But like I told Sergeant Moore, she wasn't responding to any light touches, her arm twitched a bit after I held it, but that was all. She's alive, Captain."

"Captain, here."

A marine by the name of Uriel Sherburn gave the chip that contained Roland inside. "I double checked and Roland is still inside."

Well, that was one less worry to deal with. "Thanks, Sherburn."

Medic Bay 2560

John removed her helmet and held it as Daisy examined her entire body. Daisy had to double check to make sure she was reading the x-rays right.

"Well, she's in a coma alright. It's not too bad," She looked at her body, through the x-ray. "The gel layer has done its job. No bruises or anything. The lack of oxygen is probably why she went into a coma. From what I can gather, it's been a few days to now since she's been in a coma."

Sergeant made a small huff. "Landmarks indicated that she fell 3 to 4 days, so that checks out."

"That doesn't make any sense. When Infinity was attacked by the Banished, that was over 6 months ago."

"That's because she didn't fall from the Infinity."

Roland appeared on the hologram projector on the table. Everyone on the table looked at Roland.

"Where did she fall from?" John asked.

"From a Banished dreadnought ship. She jumped straight down to Zeta Halo when she took down one on her own."

Silence fell from everyone in the group, until that is Sergeant Moore mumbled a 'damn' out of sense of pride.

"What was she doing on a Banished dreadnought?" Lasky asked, knowing full well what a ship that size did to Infinity. There was more silence within the room when Lasky didn't get an answer. "Roland?"

It wasn't like he couldn't tell him. It was that he didn't know why she jumped headfirst into a Banished dreadnought. He did put two and two together on why she did.

"Well, during our trip to the dreadnought, she wouldn't tell me why, but if I had to guess," He paused, giving a good second to look at John, then at Lasky. "It's out of revenge."

Suddenly, John walked over to where Kelsey's bed, raising his head to meet with Daisy. "Do you know when she'll wake up?"

Before Daisy could answer, John could hear whimpering from Kelsey, seeing her open her eyes slowly. She studied her surroundings before her head snapping to the figure on her right side towering her.

"J-John..? You're alive...!" She attempted to sit up, only to wince in pain. John and Daisy quickly held her from each side.

"Fuck!" She held out her left arm, even though its been injected with the Biofoam just days before, it still hurts. Other parts of her body hurt like hell, such as her head.

"Easy now. You literally just woke up from a coma." Daisy watched as Kelsey started to sob uncontrollably, slowly raising her right arm and put it in front of her eyes.

"John..." He could hear her hiccup once. "I-I thought you were dead..."

Quickly, John embraced her as she cried. The hug wasn't tight, to take it easy on her body, but it was still warm and safe. Just like the rest of his hugs. Her tears fell directly to armor's shoulder pad.

Quarter rooms 2560

It was way later that day that she was out of the Medical Bay. She was currently in her quarter rooms on her bed in her casual wear: Grey sweatpants, purple sleeveless shirt with no shoes. She still felt weak and most of all tired. To tired to do anything at the moment.

She active enough to do some walking. Granted that walking took a bit longer than she would like. She was given liquids

So, Roland had to break down what happened when she entered the Banished dreadnought.

The story went down as Kelsey trying to survive on her own on the other end of the ring. With Roland's help she was able to gather enough food and drinks for herself, as well as shelter with every passing day.

As fate would have it, she saw a Banished base just passing by through a forest. A dreadnought ship just above it. The base barely had Banished guarding it, which was odd. She took this chance to use the gravity lift to the entrance and shot at anyone who stood in her way. Roland remembered at one point, a Brute Banished yelling saying that it shouldn't be that hard to take down one Spartan. During this, they were already up at orbit, trying to trap her and possibly kill her.

Roland guessed that what drove her was revenge. It convinced him that the one man recking crew moniker wasn't solely on Master Chief. And he wasn't going to tell Lasky, but it was fun actually being out there catching all the action in the point of view of a Spartan. It was like being on a rollercoaster ride except...more dangerous.

He ended up helping her locate the fusion core to the dreadnought, blew it up with explosives and energy weapons, what ever she could to destroy it. The fusion core's gates was actually very dense, so it a bit to destroy it.

She had exactly ten minutes to get the hell out of there and when the last fifty seconds were up she jumped out of the massive ship with none of her own. That's where she flew directly down to Zeta Halo on her lonesome. That's were Moore's crew and the Swords of Sanghelios found her.

And the rest was history. She got the medical attention she desperately needed and is currently on the road to recovery.

Right now, she was waiting on John to bring her food. She had a blanket to cover herself with, so almost her entire body was covered in a sitting position. Her head was only shown not to be covered.

A soft knock can be heard twice, so she got off the bed and walked over to the door. She pressed a button on the side and the door slid open, revealing John in his casual wearing too, with a box filled with food and drinks.

"John, I'm not gonna starve you know." She said with a weak smile. She did eat a little bit before coming to her room, just not a lot to avoid vomiting.

"You haven't eaten in days." He said simply, entering the room and putting the box on the counter, opening it as Kelsey locked the door. Kelsey's stomach started to growl, rumbling and catching Kelsey off guard.

"And your stomach says otherwise." John spoke, his usual dry done kicking in.

Kelsey only puffed out air as she sat on the chair, near table in the small kitchen. John pulled out food enough for both of them from the box and put it on the table. One for him and one for her. He sat on the opposite side of her and began eating.

The two ate quietly together as per usual, but John took notice of her behavior. She took little bits of her food, hugging her plate a bit, and saw her hand shaking a little once she used to fork to stab her food. Not wanting to startle her, he carefully slid his plate next to hers and sat down next to her.

His arm had made it's way to her back, his hand going up and down slowly. He gave her a kiss on the side of her head, letting it linger there for a moment.

"I'm right here." He mumbled softly, his words reaching her. "I'm right here."

Right away, she dropped the plastic fork on the plate and held out her arms to him, wanting to be put on his lap. She was shaking and her eyes were back to being watery again.

He shoved his plate away from him along with his fork, and scooted just a bit, so that he'll have space he needs to pick her up.

He carried her in his arms and placed her on his lap to hold her close to his chest. One hand was around her shoulders and one was holding her hand.

"Squeeze my hand." He whispered. "Squeeze my hand as hard as you can."

And she did. She clutched to him with her other arm and put her head against his collarbone. Not only she squeezed his hand, but she held on to him, like if she was going to lose him again any second.

It took a little while, an hour or two, before she calmed down. She wasn't shaking, but once again, she had little energy left. He sensed that she didn't want to move around for now, he thought of a little plan.

Still carrying her, he stood up only to sit back down in Kelsey's chair. From her plate, he picked up the fork, poked a bigger portion of the food and helped her eat.

Every time she did, she ate slowly. John was ever so patient with her, waiting for her to be done chewing after every bite, giving her another bite from her plate.

It took another hour for her to finish and Kelsey started to get sleepy. If the yawn that just came out of her mouth wasn't evident enough. It had to be at least 3:00 AM.

"I'm going to put you in bed, okay?"

Kelsey raised her head to him. "Are you going to join me?"

"I plan to."

She responded with a small smile and another yawn. John stood up, carrying her to her bed that was just across the room. Carefully and steady, he placed her on the bed. It was just big enough for two people. Slowly, he climbed in with bed covers and scooted just a bit more.

Kelsey turned to John and embraced him on her side, wrapping an arm around his waist.

He returned the gesture by putting an arm on her waist, giving her another kiss on her head, putting his chin on top afterwards.

They both rested easy for once. The attack on the Infinity took a toll on both of them, more on Kelsey if anything. They'll have to figure out everything without Kelsey and gather more information from Roland again later.

Once John heard the steady breathing from her, he started to drift asleep.

Kelsey stepped forward, after her name being called out by Lord Hood. She stood straight and forward, next to Miranda Keyes. She was in her Mjolnir Mark VI, the EVA variant in a dull purple paint job.

"Chief Petty Officer Kelsey-621. Your heroic actions on OPERATION: Zero has only been faced with almost impossible odds, yet you preserved. Actions like this are nothing but a reminder that you are one of our very best of the UNSC. I hereby promote you from Chief Petty Officer to Senior Chief Petty Officer."

All of a sudden, the alarms at the Cairo Station started going off. Cortana turned face Lord Hood. "Slipspace ruptures directly off our battle cluster."

"Show me."

Appearing on a large screen in front of Johnson, John, and Lord Hood, were Covenant ships.

"Fifteen Covenant capital ships holding position just outside the kill zone."

In the same screen. UNSC ships are shown approaching the Covenant fleet. A Fleet Admiral, Harper, spoke through communications.

"This is Fleet Admiral Harper. We are engaging the enemy."

Lord Hood responded, "Negative, Admiral. Form a defensive perimeter around the cluster." He turned his attention to Miranda Keyes. "Commander, get to your ship, link up with the fleet."

Miranda saluted him. "Yes, sir!"

"You have the MAC gun, Cortana. Soon as they come in range, open up." He ordered.

"Gladly." Cortana's avatar disappears, leaving the UNSC only for a moment to have the MAC guns in working order. Lord Hood turns back to the tactical screen.

"Something's not right...The fleet that destroyed Reach was fifty times this size."

One officer calls out to Lord Hood.

"Sir, additional contacts. Boarding crafts, and lots of 'em!" Everyone shifts back to the screen.

"They're going to try to take our MAC guns offline, give their capital ships a straight shot at Earth."

Lord Hood faces John and Kelsey. "Master Chief. Senior Chief. Defend this station!"

"Yes, sir!"

"Gotcha, Lord Hood."

are there any characters in spn specifically that you hc as aroace? or any canon aroace characters that you like?

As far as I'm aware, there's definitely no canon aroace characters in spn, unfortunately. The book Loveless by Alice Oseman features an aroace protagonist named Georgia as she realizes her aroace identity, but that's the only media I've seen with a canon aroace character whose identity got explicitly talked about in said canon media.

Here's a list of my aroace hcs for supernatural, though <3

- Castiel. I definitely think of him as gray-romantic asexual. I think in general Cas is sex-repulsed, but there are *very* select few people who he feels sex-indifferent or sex-favorable around (hmmm, wonder if there's a word for that.)

- Jack Kline. Jack is aroace and experiences no sexual or romantic attraction whatsoever, and I will fight people on that. They're literally three years old,, they don't need people looking at/thinking about them like that.

- Mary Winchester. I don't have a reasonable explanation for this, but she's aroace af. Idc about whatever implied relationship she was supposed to have with Ketch. also she was only "in love" with john because the angels set it up, etc etc, she was never actually happy in the relationship, etc etc

- Elijah. Elijah is an angel character who was in a grand total of like,, eight minutes of a *single* episode (9x18, I think), but I love them with all my heart and just know they're asexual demiromantic.

- Uriel. a mutual of mine hc's him as aroace and that hc just makes me smile, and it makes me feel so honoured to have him as aroace rep

-Jessica Moore. idc what anyone says, Jess is demiromantic asexual
