It is impossible for gods to perish. They can just enjoy the retirement life if they lose their standing and retire." KRS: "...A slacker life?" CJG: "Huh? Uhh, uhh. Something like that. I guess it would be similar to a slacker." KRS: "...Really?" 🤩

Sound the drums, rejoice Caleism followers, Holy Pope Clopeh was right all along! Cale-nim shall become the God of Heroes by the end of his journey (because the God of Death wants a replacement but keeps getting rejected by both Cage and Cale), it’s pretty much 100% confirmed that he’s either a Tribulator or that exception which was kept being mentioned who can become a god. He’ll live an extremely busy & tiring life (probably extended thanks to the root of the World Tree dagger that was stabbed into his heart - possibly maybe even giving him a dragon lifespan so he can see Raon grow up), always complaining and wishing for his slacker life, he’ll defeat the Hunters once and for all, become a Hero for even among the divine realm, get more fame than his poor forever-in-denial-heart can handle, and AFTER everything is done, he’ll be dragged into godhood kicking and screaming, because being a Wanderer and working for that jerk God of Death is Not An Option, Thank You. Then, he’ll remember what CJG said about gods retiring, and he’ll say: “Fine! I guess I am a god then”. They’ll ask him: “Oh Great and Mighty God of Heroes, what is your first decree?” Cale: “I want to be allowed to quit.” Them: “...What is your second decree?” Cale: “I quit!” And finally, after all his strife, Cale shall marry his star-crossed beloved Slacker Life and they shall live Happily Ever After.
