If Essek is working with the Cobalt Soul now, that means Beau had to either

A. Lie, either fully or partially, to the Cobalt Soul higher ups about the fact that "Seth" is actually a Kryn noble who betrayed the Dynasty to help the Assembly, which the Cobalt Soul is meant to be a watchdog over

B. Tell them the full truth, which would require explaining that the beacon exchange was under false pretenses

I really want to know how that all went down. I imagine they told the truth and it took Beau a long time to find the best way to go about it

But Essek and Beau are also not exactly the type of people who would be above thinking they could get away with a lie on that scale, and I think it would be very funny for them to try

Mighty Nein headcannons!!!

Caleb has taken to drawing a bit. He mostly sketches Frumpkin and architecture, but he’s tried drawing the rest of the nein (they turned out a bit derpy). He tries to study how jester draws, but she’s a bit sporratic-

Yasha’s a bit deaf, from all the getting-struck-by-lightning stuff (I know most of this was in her dreams but shhhhh) and Veth and Yeza fashioned her a little pair of (haphazard) hearing aids

Jester smells really good. That’s it.

both Yasha and Caleb are surprisingly physically affectionate, like, they’re awkward when it has to be acknowledged (ie. when they hug people), but they can often be found leaning against people, playing with their hair, putting their heads on peoples shoulders etc.

Short Beau. Short Essek. Short Jessie. I like short people.

After trial and error, Caduceus only lets one person help him cook: Veth. The problem with this? It’s Cad’s kitchen. 7 foot tall Cad. Veth is honestly pretty good at cooking, that is only if she could reach the ceiling high shelves of spices and dishware

Jester tries to model her horn and tail jewelry after what she remembers Mollys looked like

I’ve seen other people say this, but Fjord has vitiligo that looks a bit like how bubbles come out of your nose and mouth underwater

Despite Her prestigious dexterity, Beau has pretty chronically shaky hands, and she begrudgingly tries to help it by taking shots at various other hobbies of the nein (drawings, baking, etc.) but she never keeps with it for more than a week or two

Adhd Fjord but also Autistic Jester also dyslexic Cad

Yasha is a big ole daydreamer, but not of her biggest fantasies, most of the time it’s just wacky random things, ex: What would Caleb look like as a weasel; what would skingorger say if it were alive; that one poor quality gif of that 3d rotating beetle, but make it one of Cads beetles

Jester figits like crazy, this includes peoples clothes, sprinkles fur, any jewelry ever, Caleb’s magic supplies, and people’s weapons

Veth allows the nein who like doing hair (Jester, Cad, and Yasha) to experiment styles on her hair

Cad helps Yasha identify the flowers in her book

• fjord becomes a captain earlier

• caleb escapes the prision earlier

• while on the run and covered in tears and mud, he meets beauregard in one of her many cobalt soul escapes

• a lone half-orc captain with a cursed sword but no ship or crew walks into a bar, sees two anxious looking humans in the corner: a scrawny woman with a grumpy face and a scrawnier ginger with a towel to his recently broken nose

• seems easy enough.

• girls night!!! they steal their first boat

• rule #1 of stealing methods of transportation is that you should watch out for blue tieflings stowaways trying to get as far away from a recent problem as possible

• back on land they loose beau (got got by the soul ☝️😔), caleb gets locked up in a shady storage while looking for her and there he meets nott the brave

• fjord's first response upon seeing a goblin following his navigator is to pull the sword on it

• nott's first response upon seeing some green dude shove a sword in her face is to pull her crossbow at him

• they look up and down for beau, but she finds her way back to them eventually

• still, they'll need more hands if they want to keep their totally legally owned ship afloat

• still on land, The Circus Plot happens and they acquire two more crew members 🎉

• molly loves the ocean, yasha likes the wind

• all of them like to go up to the crow's nest and bother caleb, nott more than the others; eventually he stops hiding up there so much

• yasha starts getting anxious about her unfinished business at the same time jester stars getting anxious about their clothes not being pirate-y enough

• they lose their first ship (of pristine papers as long as you don't look at them in the light) and have to travel on land until they manage to borrow a new one without asking it's owner and with promises of never returning it

• they also lose molly :(

• but they get caduceus :) who's not very keen on being in a boat for long periods of time but he'll adjust

• one thing he'll have in common with the cat

• fjord has a problem: The Voices in his head telling him to get back on the water

• jester has a conundrum: they got all of these nice, proper pirate outfits but now they have no ship

• love wins

• she did get frumpkin his very own little coat

• in the night, as the mighty nein crew wispers around two pushed together inn tables, a cloaked figure approaches upon hearing they are in need of help

• dezran, or dez, for short, for friends, an inconspicuous sun elf from, you know, around these parts, who is in dire need of work and oh would your captain be so kind to-

• insight checks fly around the pushed together inn tables

• but all of them know each of them is running from something or someone, and not all of them have a destination in mind, so really it's not like they're going to ask.

• plus nott thinks she saw a really nice boat on the dock with it's lights all out

• welcome aboard!

• cue the guy running from stealing things having to steal things

• cue a disguised drow's inventory slots full of the strongest sunscreen balm he could find this side of the continent

• maybe caduceus or jester finds out first, around when ess- dez, for friends, got a little too reckless and a little too hurt some time or other

• but the wildmother shows caduceus a lonely star when he asks, and artagan hasn't been paying attention, and anyways that's dez, that's right, their friend who has been nothing but helpful and fun, if a little skittish depending on the weather, and who always tries jester's pastries

• besides, far from him being the only person with a fake identity at the function. he's not that special.

• when fjord and beau find out, they're suspicious, but they won't make him walk the plank. there's protocol for that.

• yasha is not one to question someone running from their past

• when nott the brave finds out, she doesn't ask what he really looks like

• when caleb widogast finds out, during a siege on the ship, he grabs essek's arm and sees the drow underneath the disguise, and wants to know who are you, but circumstances are that later, they'll talk about this later.

here is some art for my new story.

so in the story essek has Ehlers–Danlos syndrome and Balance problems and has Universal vitiligo.

He uses Disguise-self spell to hide the vitiligo. When he is out in public.

Essek has mobility aids and when the pain is too much he uses his wheel chair or his Levitation Spell. He uses his Leg bracers and his cane when it is a good day. He has rings to prevent the over extension and dislocation of his fingers from happening adding more pain.

Caduceus has mobility issues thanks to his chronic pain and a bad knee.

They like walking through the garden in the green house corrin has.

Mighty Nein playing Stardew Valley

yall REALLY liked the bells hells one, so i thought i'd do it again! Asks are open if you want to suggest any cosy headcanons, but i hope you like this one😊

Caduceus - Ok caduceus would be obsessed with this game. Forest farm, absolutely despises joja, wants a junimo hut because he loves the junimos but doesnt get one because he wants them to be happy in the spirit world. His farm is filled with trees and beehouses, and he roommates with krobus because they're cool!

Jester - Jester, like cad, is obsessed with this game. She loves to play co-op with anyone whos available, and spends WAY too much time on the character customisation (tbh i think thats just laura) she has multiple outfits for every occasion, and is invested in marnie and lewis' secret relationship. She keeps the pants, obviously. Also she has an *interesting* looking flower garden.

Veth - Absolute chaos. As soon as she learns how to craft bombs, she goes ham fluffernuttering the mines. Honestly forgets its a farming game. Just loves to mess with people and cause chaos.

Fjord - Fjord chose the beach farm. After spending ages gathering materials to craft sprinklers, he realises he cant use them on the beach farm. Cries and joins jester's co-op farm because she knows what shes doing. They end up getting married in game but jester gets annoyed because he forgot to change into his wedding tuxedo before the ceremony.

Yasha - Yasha kind of does her own thing. Doesnt really realise the community center is a thing, she just goes to the mines and keeps a nice flower garden, when shes not playing co-op with beau, she will marry leah. But obviously she will marry beau when she can.

Beau - Beau is a minmaxer. Checklists and charts everywhere to get the maximum amount of money. Shes the type that watches stardew iceberg videos. It takes a bit to help yasha understand the game but shes content to water the crops while beau tries to complete everything as fast as possible.

Caleb - Realises he can get a cat in the game, spends a week trying to make frumpkin's area as nice as possible. Just uses stardew as a break to just chill out. Favourite season is fall and really wants shane to get better. Hes really just an averagd stardew player.

Essek - Essek actually got caleb into stardew. They have a really nice co-op farm together which they have spent far too much time on. He really wants to download stardew valley expanded but caleb is content with the amount of stuff there already is in the game.

Kingsley - if im being honest i havent caught up on mighty nein reunited, but lets just assume theres gonna be chaos. A lot of chaos.

A/N - I’d like to imagine the folklore behind mistletoe is kinda the same for in-canon universe. Or if it isn’t, then this is a modern!reader who would explain the “kiss of life” meaning behind it.

Percy - it’s a sweet but also passionate kiss; you spend the holidays with him and it’s one you’ll never forget! An elaborate party that lasts for days at Whitestone

Dariax - a sweet kiss that has you both giggling; the holidays are one to never forget with him, maybe a destination get away for you both

Scanlan - shamelessly flirty with a cheeky grin and everything! Spend the holidays with him and you’re guaranteed a personal concert and expensive gift

Vax’ildan - kisses full of longing and yearning; a holiday spent with him is one visiting with friends and family before you get time together under the moonlight

Fjord - most likely these holidays will be spent on the sea, but if you ever dock at one of the many ports, it’s an excursion type of holiday with sweet kisses hiding you close under mistletoe

Caleb - starts off as a slow kiss before becoming more heated and desperate, holding to you like a tether; most likely this holiday will be spent together in the Tower or visiting friends

Mollymauk/Kingsley - that tail cheekily wraps around your waist/legs, purring into a kiss. Holidays are most likely spent on the seas with Fjord and Jester, or visiting Yasha and Beau

Cadeuces - may not totally understand the gesture of “mistletoe”, but please do indulge him with the tale of it when you visit his home

Dorian - the kiss is like something out of a storybook for him. Completely sweet and tender, cupping your face. Holidays are spent with the Bells/Crown Keepers, or back home after helping Cyrus

Orym & Will - tender and domestic, feels just like home; holidays are spent together in your cozy abode, taking some early time off from the Blades

Caduceus being Terrifying

So we all know that caduceus works in a great yard. When he lives near one, he is also a follower of the wild mother.

I have the thought that caduces just grows gimpy. Gimpy plants, because he can and it's used as a defense mechanism against monsters.

Also I imagine the wild weather to be a little bit more loose with how she says Oh, I'm truly neutral I imagine she's more loose with what she thinks is neutral because she is in fact the goddess of the wilderness i mean have you seen how crazy the wild gets.

She's still the kind nurturing woman. You all know, but just add a little bit of terrifying this to her character in then boom.

Caduceus has a wide and vase knowledge on how to murder people with plants and also he knows how to dispose of a body he works in a graveyard.

Also, also the episode dinner with the devil his rage was so calm, quiel, cold and calculating that I got chills watching that. The reason why I was generally scared and also excited watching that episode was because imagine that if caduces was provoked enough and enough times by one single person he would get in a fight with them then it's essentially like fighting a moose they will take you out before you take them out like that.

Man has so much patience at the moment. He snaps no one's going to expect it

Caduceus Is also terrifying because you can say the most terrifying things. And a slightly aggravated tone that still sounds calm, and everyone thinks that he's just given out a hollow threat. Like the man literally sent to Trent "Listen, it's my job to tend to the dead and burry the dead but you are so bad that I won't even touch you. The scavengers will gladly eat your flesh in the open."

And Trent was so scared and terrified that he'd rather run away than face the firbolg.

Trent, this powerful 80-year-old or something year old wizard was terrified of a seven foot skinny firbolg.
