So I see you've reblogged the new AU struggle post 4 times in a row... mind sharing the new AU with the class?
It’s not a full au yet but I am kicking around an idea for a hp/pjo crossover potentially one with Percy and Harry being raised as brothers where they go to camp at the same time (Harry is ten to Percy’s twelve for reasons) but with Harry being the son of a minor goddess he doesn’t get claimed when Percy does only to find out some children of Hecate and their bloodlines have a secret society complete with a school so Harry is going from secret summer camp to secret school and PLEASE could people just stop making prophecies for five seconds?
#the elf talks#harry potter#pjo#because I don’t have enough au’s and crossovers living rent free in my head#I say potentially because I hadn’t thought about it but now I’m thinking about it and ooooooohhhh boy#harry with plenty of practice from the Hermes cabin under his belt going to Hogwarts and being an absolute menace#Percy would be so pissed tbh that his adopted brother ain’t getting claimed#Luke tries to recruit Harry but Harry is having exactly none of it#spells and seas au

With Weepe’s sense of humor being out of commission and Jonas Spahr’s recent promotion to finale-level protagonist, this means that Jonas fucking Spahr (who canonically likes Trust puns) is the comedic relief of our current protagonist line-up.
We’re all doomed.
#Spahr’s weird (sarcastic?) little “cute” at Lark’s cabin lives rent free in my head#Looking forward to stand-up comedy time with Jonas Spahr in the finale#Phineas politely laughs#Lark glares#and Weepe razes everything in sight#And that’s the end of Midst thank you and goodnight#Midst#jonas Spahr#Midst spoilers

I want to go hiking tomorrow cause it's been a few weeks and my time before winter is running out, but like. Idk where I want to go and most of the birds are gone already. Like usually I pick a spot based on what kind of birds I want to see or what flowers are blooming, but there's not much going on, and the leaves are just beginning to turn so I can't even pick based on that.
Fucking hate this time of year. I'll probably be pretty bummed about nature shit until next March or April tbh.
#still trying to decide if i want to try for cranes again next year#maybe not cause i want to rent a cabin up north in the summer and i can't afford two things#like my tax return can fund one cheap tiny trip not multiple proper vacations#um anyway hiking or whatever idk#actually i think the highway to one spot is completely closed right now so maybe I'll do horicon again?#might luck out and see some cranes#but it's an hour and change each way so it's a Commitment and also gas $$$

John Sheridan is a lonely man. A former soldier, John is now mayor of Babylon, a small, self-contained island located squarely between several major nations. It’s a tourist destination, an ideal spot for wanderers, and the perfect place for retired diplomats.
Diplomats like Delenn Mir - formerly of the Minbari government. She arrives in Babylon, hoping for a fresh start. Her book store is a welcome reprieve from the big chains moving onto the island, even if the local residents are skittish about the Minbari woman and their war-hero mayor.
But John finds himself smitten with Delenn. He finds himself walking along the beach most evenings in her company, lost in her. They talk for hours, about everything and nothing. After so many years of being lost in the dark, they are finally found.
#john x delenn#john x delenn aus#babylon 5#ship: john x delenn#dd: edits#I wonder whether I can combine this idea with the one where delenn rents john's cabin#as it's the same principal#I just want mayor john having to put up with londo and g'kar's shenanigans#a shoutout to#stardustinthesky#who was brainstorming this with me
