Just wanna let the internet know, again, that the SCA is great, and Carraig Ban in particular is full of the actual best people ever.

Our person who normally runs the kid events apparently won’t let a little thing like a plague and cancelled events stop her, so she’s spent this weekend running around the entire damn Barony dropping off activity kits she made for all of the barony kids. This includes my 2-year old, with some things I can at least let her be involved in making (though it will all end up smashed by the end, lmao. At least for the bread that’s a plus!).

Also, while I can’t say for certain who dropped a whole bunch of grocery gift cards in my mailbox, its got a certain “I’m gonna be NICE and HELPFUL whether you like it or not” vibe that is very much CBan flavored (why yes, this is aimed at someone specific, lol, but the whole barony has been incredibly lovely about checking in with everyone and helping where its needed and I heart them)
