I propose an idea. Sephiroth, barely turned adult, snuck out from his tightly secured home to find his caretaker (his "parental"/"mother" figure) he'd been obsessed with for years, maybe planning an 'ambush'? and learned that they were with a partner he didn't know about. Might've even had a family with them!

Boy, he'd be furious.

Yes! The "betrayal" (in his eyes) would be their ultimate sin. How could they? To built up such relationship with Sephiroth, ever since he was a mere boy. His world shatters when this revelation comes out of the left field. And it's not like they talked much about their life outside of him whenever they were on their job. They were solely focused on him. Making sure he got the proper nurture, care and affection one would need growing up. Technically, they did everything right.

Maybe too "right". Because now, Sephiroth felt like they were bound to him and him alone. And it should stay that way. His struggle to block out the dark thoughts only grew over time. Those Jenova instincts clawing at his mind to force him to acknowledge his dominance over them. How easy it could be. But he had to hold himself back. Keep the mask on for a bit longer so his perfect plan to get what he wants will come to fruition.

And his dear caretaker sensed there was something off about Sephiroth. How every affectionate touch they normally shared (in privacy) lingers a bit longer. And the subtle hesitancy in his body language whenever Sephiroth forces himself to pull away. And there's that slight dark shift in his pupils whenever someone steals their attention from him. They've brush it off, attributing to Sephiroth being in his typical grouchy mood.

They just have no idea of what's to come when they go to Nibelheim with Sephiroth...

2. Lightning out of a clear blue sky

Okay so lightning out of a clear blue sky, essentially I thought "man what if Billy had survivors guilt for not being with his family when they died" and "what if the fam dying in a plane accident and being killed by black Adam were not mutually exclusive (for the later dramatic reveal)"

The story would just be little sections of what happens to people when the lightning comes, sorry it's hard to explain!

Mostly im gonna make this longer, and add a bit of Mary getting her powers and Billy realizing that Adam killed his parents.

Lightning out of a clear blue sky

When the Batson’s plane goes down, people first say it’s a tragedy. Losing two brilliant archeologists and their young daughter in one lightning strike, what else could you call it? People mourn, but they also whisper.

They whisper about how no one else had been allowed to touch that tomb in centuries. About how Kahndaq had resisted their offers for excavation for years, out of fear of retribution. About how there wasn’t a cloud in the sky when lightning struck.

For a while people keep their heads down, enough stories of the dangerous Black Adam surviving the test of time to make them wary of such a sign.

But time passes and no god appears. The people of Kahndaq reclose it’s borders and sigh with relief to have been let off with just a warning.

C.C and Marilyn Batson were not superstitious people, but they were not arrogant either. They knew they didn’t know everything. That’s why they operated with such care. Such attention to local stories and mindfulness to their tradition.

Truthfully they both thought they had followed every warning, had done nothing but respect the man whose tomb the were studying. But in the instant between the strike and the bliss that followed, their second thought was that they had been wrong, that somehow they had tripped up and disrespected the ancient king.

Their first thought was thanks that their children were both safe elsewhere.

Mary screams at lightning, but not at clouds. At thunder but not at rain. To her parent’s, and her therapists, this must be the odd psyche of a lost child.

She remembers nothing from before meeting the Bromefields, from before becoming a Bromefield, and apart from the lightning and the deep sadness, she seems to carry little from her original life.

For years Mary shrieks with fear when there is lightning in the sky, but she cannot remember why.

The day Billy first hears about the lightning, his temperature is still three degrees too high and leaves him confused as to why people were so shocked.

His parents were in the sky, that is where the lightning is. They shouldn’t be so upset that the lightning was there, they should be upset that his family didn’t come back down. They should feel just as torn to shreds as Billy does when he finally understands that his sister will never share his toys again, that his father will never read to him anymore, or that his mother will never sing him another song.

Instead all they care about is the lightning. A fevered kid’s mind decides that they must be right. The lightning is confusing because if the lightning got them, why hasn’t it gotten him?

Billy's been waiting for his lightning for a long time. It's not that he wants to get struck, no not even when he misses his parents the most does he really want to join them.

It's just that he has to.

(In case it's not obvious, the lightning strike that killed the Batson was adams returning lightning bolt, for the story I want Adam to come back and just lie low for a while, only lose it when. He realizes cap exists)

You sigh at the reminder as you snuggle into him more. Your head laying against his chest as you listen to the rhythm of his heart. Fingers trail your back lazily as he peppers the top of your head with soft kisses. A sharp contrast to the character he plays on television.

Christian has to catch a flight to his next show for AEW. He had time but he always liked to be at the airport early just incase. At first you thought it was a guy thing but you remembered all the times your brother was late catching his flight. Maybe it was an older man thing.

Begrudgingly, you allow him to slip out of the sheets. He looks around for his clothes wearing nothing but the boxers you tore off him last night. You watch lazily as he gathers his clothes and places them on. Despite being stuck in an airport and airplane, he always dressed his best.

You sat up and searched for your own clothes. Your sundress, his favorite, was thrown last night without a care in the world. The sundress pooled at your feet as you bent down to slip it on. You checked yourself in the full body mirror.

Christian appears behind you to help. A blush creeps on your cheeks as his hands slide up your dress. Despite the age difference, man certainly had an appetite. Their eyes meet in the mirror.

"I wish I could go with you,"

A confession you didn't have to mention. The feeling was mutual. He has been in several storylines and he wished for just one week off. One week of just the two of you in bed shut off from the world.

"Walk me to my car?" He asked smoothing out your dress. The question was rhetorical. He knew the answer. Ever since the two of you became serious you always walked him to the car. He grabbed his luggage and wheeled it towards the door.

You stepped outside to cloudy skies. The weather certainly matching your mood. You unlocked the trunk. He placed his luggage inside. The walk to the driver side door sucked the most. Time was quickly dwindling away from you. You needed just a few more minutes with him.

Christian leaned against the car door. You placed your hands on his hips and rested your chin against his chest. His bright eyes looked down at you. A slight frown plastered on his face from having to leave again. After all the years in the business, it still sucked leaving a loved one behind.

Rain suddenly poured down on the two of you. The time you wanted so badly to hold on to seemed to slip away from your fingertips. You sighed in defeat.

"You should just go," you sighed and turned to walk back inside. Christian grabbed your wrist and pulled you back into him.

"What about my goodbye kiss?" He asked with his eyebrows scrunched. You smiled and stood on your tippy toes to kiss him. The rain falling around you but the two of you didn't have a care in the world.

PSA : it has been a very long time since i watched the anime. i do not remember much aside from selective memories i have for c.c. scenes / moments. i have watched re;surrection and while i do not agree with the pacing and the convenience of it, i am inspired by the character depths c.c. was given. i do not follow canon or fanon portrayal, and frankly i am just here to vibe.

01. hello, hello, once again i will reiterate this is an extremely private and likely very slow activity blog. i work very strange and inconsistent hours, and thus availability has been rather scarce. discord is available to mutuals, where i eagerly await to plot / chat / geek out about our muse. also duplicate friendly.

02. due to my work schedule, shipping is not a priority in this blog and it shall remain reserved for close friends who are interested in plotting something beyond the ship. i am ship-exclusive, so i only ship with one version of said muse. once again be aware that i am very low-activity.

03. needless to say, i am someone who adores plotting. i love complex plots, plots that compliments canon, plots that derails from canon, i think plotting is great. my motivation for threads is honestly influenced by context, and if we have that i can definitely go ham. of course, i know not everyone carries my same preference, but i will do my best to accommodate.

04. please be aware : i have grown extremely tired with drama / gossips circulating around the rpc. i will follow / unfollow people at my own discretion and would prefer to stay away from any spectacle or public showcasing. frankly i am just here to write, have fun with mutuals, and preferably not pick sides. my current stance on call out is rather neutral, and i would prefer to make my own conclusion rather take on the pressure of public outcry. i take this level of judgement seriously.

05. keep in mind : i do not do character exclusives. i do not have the energy to commit to anyone's portrayal nor do i want to make anyone expect / wait from me in general. as mentioned above i am really busy, so i cannot and will not do an exclusive writing with any character. i do practice having mains, but even then i am just a very chill and lazy blog lmao.

Who IS C.C.?

While I was laying in bed last night I decided to give the new Little Nightmares Podcast a try, and my god was it worth it!

In the podcast, we follow the story of Noone, a girl in a psychiatric hospital who is being treated by The Counsellor, whom she addresses as Otto, for her ever-worsening nightmare disorder. In her renditions of those nightmares, she talks about her experiences in the horrifying world we all know as the Little Nightmares Universe.

Throughout the first two chapters of the podcast, Otto mentions a girl, likely someone close to him such as his daughter, called C.C. who‘s mentioned to have had nightmares similar to Noone, if not the same ones as he talks about mutual dreaming.

Based on his desperation to find her, or at least figure out what could’ve happened to her, C.C. seems to have vanished mysteriously in the past, which likely ties to the deranged nightmares.

Could C.C. have been sucked into Nowhere only to become Six?
