being a fourth grade teacher was an experience. alongside teaching, a lot of his job was dropping off forgotten items back to parents that kids had left behind at school. today was no different when he had to drop off a jacket, two jumpers and a shoe to one of the parents who lived in the trailer park.

finn stopped by after work and knocked on the door with no answer. he had arranged with the parents of a time to drop by.

"excuse me, do you know if they're home?"

Kate had spent the day trying to figure out both this place and her emotions as she stared out the window and looked over at all the lanterns with a confused expression clear on her face, that familiar feeling of coming from another world, one far from ivycove, sliding into her mind again as she sighed and shut the curtains, turning back around and shaking her head at the roommate she was given. "I do not understand why we are being moved around as though we were property rather than human beings."

Honestly, it wouldn’t be the first time you’ve made me rethink my choices when it comes to interacting with you.

Yeah, not quite the picturesque escape I envisioned, but with alcohol and friends it still turned out to be a nice experience.

It's a shame though, imagine how boring the off-season must be if no one's stirring up drama.

It'd be sad for me to use the old "gezhundheit" joke for that again, right? Still never been but I've heard good things, and oh no... not exactly the idyllic scenery you were looking for?

That's... not entirely untrue, it's somewhat pardon-like. But yeah, and if nothing else I can definitely say there's nothing scandalous out there surrounding the team. Which in itself kinda feels like a big win.

Absentmindedly fiddling with a bottle cap, she squints one eye and manages to flick it into another glass bottle, watching as it falls. “Thanks, unfortunately, it doesn’t always work, but I can keep myself entertained when it does, a friend of mine taught me from back home.” She explains with a smile and shrug. “Besides, it’s one of the lesser dangerous tricks I know, though ye still have to be careful, it’s still possible to damage an eye with these sharp edges.”

Oh my god, when Simon assumed that Jay’s dad was his alternative universe counterpart he was just so darn happy and my heart preemptively lurched because Simon is such a dad and he was happy to meet his son and a version of himself who was able to start a family and obviously he didn’t pay much mind to the lack of visual similarities Simon is fully aware he’d adopt any kid in a heartbeat

And I was really afraid that finding out that he’s not Jay’s dad will be yet another twisting of the knife for Simon and I was readying myself for it

But instead Simon is just as happy to see Farmworld Finn because it's Finn and Finn is his friend!!! It just makes me feel so….!!!!!!!!

Look how happy he is to see Finn! Look!!
