Sitting in the quaint coffee shop Etta beamed waiting for her friend. Using the mug to warm her hands she purposely took a window seat hoping to catch Steven even before he made it inside. She smoothed her skirt and cautiously took a sip of tea too hot to be fully enjoyed yet it seemed. When Steven suggested they catch up she excitingly suggested Cafe Bohemia for its eclectic and bright setting. The pastries and drinks were top-notch as well.

Catching his profile just before he walked in she quickly waved hoping she was seen. The smile that bloomed couldn't be contained and reached up to her eyes at his arrival. She stood up in expectation of a brief hug after he entered. A cheerful greeting excitingly escaped, "Good morning, I'm so glad you could make it. It's so good to see you." Etta took her seat and continued to smile. The friendship she shares with the detective is unique as she accredits him to saving her life.

Moans burst from his room like a chorus, echoed through the otherwise silent home. Alongside this cried out a rapid, wet sound limited to the movements of the large males hand, increasing with his voice. Then came the voice again, this time speaking words - words he’d wished he’d never said, words that made his intentions and his sick, nasty, demented desires evident. “Ste- Steven, oh god, son! There was a small part of him that might have been overthinking this. But the signs clearly pointed to her being pregnant, at least from what he read online. Steven had never dealt with this before, so he just did a basic search and everything came back to the fact that Maddie, would possibly be pregnant. The question was though, if she would want it and what they would, especially if she was. 

In that moment though, after he spoke, Steven was glad that she didn’t snap at him. He appreciated that greatly. Pouring himself some coffee as well, he sighed a little bit. It was quiet and he didn’t like the quiet too much. But when she asked that question, his attention instantly went to Madeline. “Yeah, probably. But I’m asking the question.”

Jeremiah was always a safe space, but things had gotten weird since Susannah's death and whatever love harem with which his sister and the fisher boys had. The dark haired boy through himself down on the couch at the other boy's side. he raised his eyebrows with a teasing smile. And a blush might be coming to the round centers of his cheeks. He needed to figure out what the hell to do with a woman he loved more than anything in this world when she had a boyfriend and no want for him. A dramatic sigh left his lips as his head leaned back against the warmth of the furniture. "Good doesn't seem to describe our lives much right now, dude," he weakly teased turning his attention towards the bright eyed boy once more. "You are the only one of us who has decent advice with girls.. don't get a big head."

"Steve-o, what's up, bro?" This sounded urgent and Jeremiah wasn't sure what the other was going to say, so he was a little bit nervous if he was being honest. If it was something about Belly, well, that could end up being a very awkward conversation. Hopefully it didn't have to go that way! The younger Fisher brother smiled at his friend and raised a brow. "Everything good?" Maybe it was about Taylor. That? He could handle a conversation about Taylor with ease.

Mercedes had been staring at Steven for about ten minutes, waiting for him to notice her, but she wasn’t too surprised that the only reason he finally looked up was her threatening him with 3 days of no work. He looked a mess, and still had on his clothes from the weekend. Thankfully she had brought him a change of clothes before his staff saw him at the morning meeting. She placed a container on the desk .“Eat.” she said as she went to open his window, letting air into the stuffy room. “I made you breakfast because I know you haven’t eaten all night. And yes I said all night its 7am Tuesday.” She shook her head seeing the containers that she had brought him over the weekend scattered around the room. “You have 30 minutes to eat and get changed before the meeting.” she urged as she went to pick them up the trash around him. When he got into work he really wasn’t aware of anything.

After picking things up she looked at him and sat on the edge of his desk. “I agree three days may be too long, but you need a break. You haven’t left this office since Thursday night. So after the meeting you are going home and I am taking care of you. I won’t make you do 72 hours but I will make you rest for 24. And I am not taking no for an answer. You work too hard and if you don’t have a break, then you wont finish by Friday.” She folded her arms. “And before you argue with me you should know I am not above annoying you into leaving.”

“Yes, Ma'am,” Steven said, giving her a playful salute. He opened the lid of the container she brought and dug right in. “I did eat,” he protested meekly in between bites. “Red Bull and energy bars. Say what you want but it's still calories, so food.” It wasn't the first time and it probably wouldn't be the last either that Steve thanked his lucky stars that he had hired Mercedes a few months ago. In moments like this, she was a lifesaver. Business had been booming as of late and he had been spending more and more time at the office. It was good to have someone around who he could trust to have his back and who thought to bring him clean clothes because she knew he'd totally forgot what time of day it was.

After he finished the breakfast she brought, Steven slowly got to his feet and he stretched his arms above his head. He chuckled softly as Mercedes sat on the edge of his desk and gave him a stern look. “Thursday, really,” he asked while he walked around his desk, already unbuttoning his shirt. He let the shirt fall from his shoulder and placed it on the small couch where she had placed his clean clothes. Picking up the clean white button-down he tugged it on and left it unbuttoned as he changed trousers. “You're a lifesaver, you know that?” Steven didn't really wait for a reply as it was more a statement than a question. “Oh, trust me, I know... you don't take no for an answer. So what's the plan? I do this meeting and then I'm sentenced to house arrest?” As he buttoned up his shirt he made his way back to his desk. He would be more than happy if he didn't have to deal with the office for a few days. He got his best work done at home anyway, plus … no people around, just how he liked it.

Darren Sherwood. I love my son so much and not playing him sucks, but he’s alive in headcanons so at least there’s that. 

Isaac Castle/Leo Underwood. my crime boys were both for the same rp and playing them there influenced like my entire rping experience so they’re tied for second like sorry I love them both and couldn’t choose.

Steven Albright. I didn’t get to develop him as much as I wanted to before HIC died, but I love him and he’s so good and deserves better than he got.

I have only had a few truly bad experiences. I have had a ship go awry after an FC change, I had some family connections who didn’t want to interact with my character despite their pre-written bios saying they were close, but most of my bad experiences come from rps closing before I truly got to carry out plots that I was excited about with other people.

Steven had been a mess these last few days. The news of Ellie’s passing hit him hard, harder than even he thought it would. The annulment of their marriage had cut off any and all communication they had. And he blamed himself for that. He had been the one who needed space and time to work through things. It been a few weeks now and he had picked up his life, at least tried to as best as he could, putting on a fake smile whenever people asked how he was, the words ‘I’m fine’ fell from his lips a lot these days. And Steve thought people were buying it, everybody but Gabby it seemed. 

He read her reply and send his in return.

If his calculations where correct he had about 20 minutes to get the place cleaned up and look semi-decent Steve told himself as he dragged himself out of bed and started to put on a pair of sweats and a shirt before making his way to the kitchen to wait for Gabby to show up.

Who’s more dominant: I think they're dominant in different ways, but when it actually comes down to calling the shots in the relationship i think it's Frankie. She's the one that's slamming down on the brakes when Steven is already all ready to just jump into it -fuck everything- kinda.

Who’s the cuddler: Steven likes sleeping on his back and is actually not a huge cuddler, so unless Frankie wants to cuddle to him they'll be sleeping next to each other like a 50's couple

Who’s the big spoon/little spoon: Steven is the big spoon obviously. But only when they're like on the couch watching something, and not about to sleep.

What’s their favorite non-sexual activity: Cooking? Since their relationship has to be secret and otherwise they're screwed, they probably can't do much outdoors since people on both of their sides have eyes and ears everywhere. So I feel like they spend a lot of time cooking very involved, time-consuming eateries.

Who uses all the hot water: Frankie does. Steven takes really fast showers so he probably won't be using all the hot water, no matter the situation.

Most trivial thing they fight over: I honestly don't see them fighting over trivial things, because their relationship is already so rocky. Maybe some teasing fights about what to eat or what to watch on tv? But I think the little time they get to spend together is precious to them and they wouldn't want to waste it fighting about something stupid.

Who does most of the cleaning: I think Steven's military training would have carried over and he's very clean and minimalistic with everything. Frankie probably helps.

What has a season pass on their dvr/Who controls the netflix queue: are either of them even interested in tv shows/movies? 

Who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: If they're in Italy it'll be Frankie and if they're in the US it'll be Steven 

Who leaves their stuff around: I'm thinking neither

Who remembers to buy the milk: Both

Who remembers anniversaries: I think both again. Steven is good at dates so at least he will remember them lol 

Who cooks normally: both! it's their thing

How often do they fight: pretty fucking often i bet (cries)

What do they do when they’re away from each other: work/family related things. They probably can't get away to contact each other much during those times

Nicknames for each other: maybe something cheesy in Italian

Who is more likely to pay for dinner: Steven cause he's old fashioned. But he would let Frankie pay if she like insisted

What would they get each other for gifts: tiny tiny things that can be hidden or have secret meaning so others cannot figure out that they're seeing someone
