"you don't love me?" for sonata x alexa I SAID WHY NOT BOTH

“you don’t love me?”

As always, Alexa crossed a line and as always she was going to take it one step further. Pushing buttons was one of Alexa’s specialties and Sonata was one of the many who fell victim to her merciless commentary. Once she started, she couldn’t stop, and more than once she proved she took no issue with her lack of filter. That combined with Alexa’s inability to take responsibility for her actions often lead to less than favorable outcomes. She was a dirt bag, to put it in the simplest of terms. She was bad at connecting with people and constantly disregarded their feelings. It wasn’t anything new and from an outside perspective Alexa had little to no interest in breaking any of these bad habits. Then the phrase I don’t love you comes out and hangs in the air. Alexa felt like she unclipped a grenade. “Yeah. Yeah.” Alexa replies to the question, looking them in the eyes. She didn’t like herself like this, she didn’t like hurting someone who meant something to her like Sonata did. The two had just finally made up after months of silence and there she was, letting it fall apart again. “What the fuck did you think this was?” After fixing her posture she then tilts her head to the side. For a brief moment it looks like Alexa’s about to say something that was maybe a bit softer, a bit less cruel. Instead, she sneers at them. “Weird thing to hang on to when we aren’t even together. What? You’re upset because we kissed once? Just wait until I tell you about who else I’ve been seeing. Don’t worry you’re not special. In fact, I wasn’t even planning on spending the night.” Stop. She had to stop but she couldn’t. The damage was already done. “Do you love me?” There’s a short pause, but Alexa doesn’t give Sonata enough time to collect whatever thoughts they may have had. “Didn’t think so.” Her eyes roll back. “This is a waste of my fucking time. If you’re mad at me, take a number.”

❥ — a childhood memory charlotte/charloane

There weren’t many holidays where the entire family were all under the same roof, and by all, not only did it include the Edwards clan, but it included the Moores, the Westerfields, the Graydens, the Laws, and of course, the Sharp-Westerfields. There weren’t many places that could all those people. At this point, the family had spanned over 50+ wizards, witches, and even muggles - and that was before they had added any friends onto the guest list. However, for the 60th Wedding Anniversary of Clause & Charmaine Moore, the patriarch and matriarch of this well-loved family, everyone had made arrangements to attend, especially since they’d saved the date so close to Christimas time.

In the midst of this large family she rarely ever got to see and experience, an eight-year old Charlotte was timid to say the least. She’d brought a book on the History of House Elves, only after she highly convinced her Mum that it was her conversational armor. After all, this was primarily Mimi’s side of the family and even she still found trouble trying to find her place around everyone.

As she was minding her business, still seated in her chair hours after finishing dinner, she suddenly felt the book she’d been reading slip up out of her hands. It was floating high above her, yet she had nothing to do with it. Considering Char was short as her bio-mother had been, she formulated a plan to get closer and pull it down. Her chair was sturdy enough, and so one foot at a time, she propped herself up, but by the time she’d gotten her balance together, the book had zipped right by her to float almost ten feet away. 

Charlotte followed the floating book to turn towards the possible culprit of this prank. She assumed it was possibly Harry, as he’d always hated whenever Charlotte brought books around. Instead, she found a girl she’d only ever met a handful of times - who she’d also rarely ever seen without her missing pair.

“Danica, what are you doing?” 

No response, besides the snarking, little laugh from the other eight year old girl.

“Danicaaaaa, give me back my book. I’m gonna tell!!” 

Still no response, besides D’s arms closing across her chest and an arrogant smile across her face.

Sounding more stern now, in order to try and affirm her assertiveness, Charlotte commanded, “Danica, this isn’t funny. I just want my book back, if you could please just-”

Then the pair that shared the same face as Danica appeared behind her to suddenly call out her partner. 

“Danica. Stop.”

Danica looked at her sister Sloane, her jaw dropped in shock.

“But-”

“Drop it.” 

Danica could tell Sloane really meant it, and she always did what Sloane told her to do. So that’s exactly what she did. With a flick of her wand, Danica let the book drop to the floor, stomped her foot in a huff, and ran away to go look for something else to entertain herself.

As Char was still standing on top of her chair, Sloane walked over to where the book had dropped and took it over to hand it back to Charlotte. “Here.” Charlotte slowly stepped down from the chair, with a face still stunned at what had just happened. Once she took the book from Sloane, and the girl had long gone away, Char sat back down in her chair, cracking open her book... just enough to thrust her face in it, to hide just how bad her face had blushed a deep shade of red.

Define fight? Renee’s been in a mood lately and the last time I told him his new job was making him cranky he shoved me and I shoved him back and then he really reminded me he was my big brother so... if that counts as a fight then like two weeks ago. If not, then never.

No. Detlev and Ren had a cat when they were growing up though.

I was pretty good at Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, and Alchemy. I was pretty good in most of my classes.

Summer just started so I’ll be putzing around till school starts again. My room at home is smaller than the room back at school. Everything is a little irritating right now.

Yes? I have a whole family, somebody there likes me like that, probably.
