"I-I would rather wait," Q said softly as he tried to shift away from her, green eyes wide and terrified. Completely different from the man who had been in the bar a few weeks previously. None of that confidence. It could have been believable that they were just twins; if twins had the exact same glasses and watch and fingerprints. But Marcus was suppressed for a reason Q couldn't understand and his arm was definitely dislocated. His mind was completely jumbled following the attack. "D-did they say how long they would be? Can I use your phone?" He asked.

"If we wait, that swelling's just going to go up," she told him gently. "I can take care of this in like, two seconds, but I need you to trust me. You trust me, don't you Marcus?"

He didn't seem like himself. It was likely the pain, the violence of the attack. She did her best to smile at him, to reassure him as he reoriented himself to the world.

"The ambulance isn't going to get here for at least another ten, maybe fifteen minutes, and those paramedics are going to charge you an arm and a leg for what I do for free." She winked at him. "You've already had your ass handed to you once today, but if you want to sit here and wait for round two, be my guest. I'll get you something to take your mind off it." She fished around in the pocket of her jeans for her phone. "D'you want me to make the call? You probably shouldn't move around too much... Not that you're not going to be okay! You're going to be FINE! Yeah? Just... y'know, keep breathing and all that. I've got you."

cquackity kept on incessantly picking on qquackity, belittling him and his experiences, and it's important to remember that qquackity looks almost exactly like how cquackity looked when he first joined the dream smp. the experiences in qsmp broke his heart and made him fragile and vulnerable. in dsmp cquackity had experiences where he was able to gain some upper hand through cut-throat and manipulative decisions. cquackity sees qquackity as a reminder of how weak and childish he was when he first joined dream smp. "so you killed yourself over an egg?" and "so you were so incapable that you didn't know how to swim?" it's almost as if he's giving qquackity the same treatment he got from people like cschlatt and cwilbur to show him that weakness doesn't work. cquackity entered this purgatory space with the opportunity to meet someone who's like his past self, qquackity, and someone who may be closer to who he would've wanted to have been, kquackity, and didn't treat his past self with any kindness or sympathy

Whilst you nourish your body with exercise, slow yoga, nighttime body milk, adorn it with jewellery and sultry perfume, carefully drape it with clothes that fit… don’t forget to nourish your mind. Classical music, podcasts, brain games like crosswords, sudoku, mental math, art even if you’re terrible at it, gardening even if your plants never seem to grow, cooking even if you might burn the house down - embrace learning, embrace curiosity, and enjoy your own company.
