cquackity kept on incessantly picking on qquackity, belittling him and his experiences, and it's important to remember that qquackity looks almost exactly like how cquackity looked when he first joined the dream smp. the experiences in qsmp broke his heart and made him fragile and vulnerable. in dsmp cquackity had experiences where he was able to gain some upper hand through cut-throat and manipulative decisions. cquackity sees qquackity as a reminder of how weak and childish he was when he first joined dream smp. "so you killed yourself over an egg?" and "so you were so incapable that you didn't know how to swim?" it's almost as if he's giving qquackity the same treatment he got from people like cschlatt and cwilbur to show him that weakness doesn't work. cquackity entered this purgatory space with the opportunity to meet someone who's like his past self, qquackity, and someone who may be closer to who he would've wanted to have been, kquackity, and didn't treat his past self with any kindness or sympathy

i kinda hate dsmp but the concept of multiverse of madness where in the film they said dreams were a peak into our multiversal lives was kinda cool and i wanna branch out on it more but i’m touching on tntduo

do you ever think qbur ever has dreams where he’s cwilbur? and he’s so confused because qbur could never do so much harm and he’s upset at the thought of being able to hurt so many people like that and then he has dreams as ghostbur and yet it’s still all so confusing because how could he dream he’s a ghost?

do you ever think qquack has dreams as cquackity? he dreams of cards and gambling and fighting with cwilbur and it’s so odd to him. he looks at himself in the mirror and he can’t explain how everything feels so wrong. he wonders why he only ever sees an alternate version of qbur but he’s evil.

but oh then cquackity and cwilbur have their dreams in the view of their qsmp self. they think of their dreams as “what could’ve been”. they mourn the loss of the happy life that they could’ve lived and cover it up with anger at the prospect of their minds showing them, flaunting in their face that they could never be that happy.

cquackity dreams of tilín though, and he dreamt during his death. he woke up with tears for a child who didn’t exist.

cwilbur dreams of tallulah. he wakes up and yearns for her. he knows she doesn’t exist, she’s not real. he goes to see fundy who is real and tommy to try and fix the yearning he has for a child whom he never met in real life, only in his dreams.

and cquackity and cwilbur adore those dreams as much as they hate it, it’s like being stuck in a fantasy. but what makes them leave is knowing none of it is real. to them at least. they are jealous of those versions of themselves that are doing so much better. but they can’t help but feel that maybe the reason why they don’t live in a fantasy just like that, is their own doing.

it's so funny to me how qsmp fans who haven't watched dsmp will be like "but why is qwilbur important to qquackity like at all?? they've barely interacted and their ccs don't talk much" You Fool. these two are obsessed with roleplaying the most homerotic shit you have ever seen. you were not there in the tntduo trenches. Niki's birthday party. the Las Nevadas arc. the Wilburger Ranvan. Hitting on 16. you beautiful naive creature. ccquackity dropped everything to start stream and log onto purgatory just for the slightest possibility that it really was wilbur and he would be able to roleplay some weird gay shit. wilbur went into phil's donos to say "tell him being needy isn't attractive" knowing damn well quackity would see it and pretend to be bitter and sad about it. they are committed to the bit always and the bit is acting toxic and gay with each other, and that extends to every single character they have played and ever will play in close proximity with each other. of course qwilbur is important to qquackity because they need to act like a toxic divorced couple or they will die

yeah i agree bringing the dsmp into why qsmp!quackity cares about q!wilbur is ridiculous. gotta say that bringing in the meta of cc!quackity loving to do roleplay with wilbur is kind of fair because when you discuss the qsmp story it's hard not to have a little bit of meta. like how characters having stronger relationships based on the fact that creators play more with other creators that have similar time zones as them. or an egg having a difference in personality because another admin is playing them. or the characters having strong relationships right off the bat because the people playing them knew each other before the qsmp even though it doesn't make much sense in canon because these characters have just met. like phil and tubbo for example, q!tubbo canonically doesn't remember anything before defrosting but he immediately trusts q!phil more than anyone.

in the end q!will is always going to have a place in q!quack's heart and honestly it does make sense in canon as q!will was q!quackity's friend before he went on tour. you can argue they haven't had that many interactions but q!q hasn't had many more interactions with richas than wilbur. and had even less with tallulah. and it would be sad if roier was the only one on the list as he is the only person quackity interacted with a ton, was close to, and cared for him in return.

if you dislike it because of the shipping then that's fair but q!quackity does care for q!will whether it's romantic or platonic. apologies for the essay but I just constantly see you talk about how much you dislike q!tntduo and how it keeps being part of q!quackity's story soo

i didn’t say qquackity doesn’t care for qwilbur. i said it’s canon that he does

but i don’t like bringing other servers into it, and i don’t like doylist explanations for character behavior. i see a lot of this coming from qtnt fans because i’m a quackity main and they make up a massive portion of the fanbase, so it’s really, really hard for me to avoid when i’m trying to find any content about the character i like.

i’m not even going to address the other points here because honestly i’m too tired and it’s not worth it. i’m trying to figure out how to say this politely, but like, man, if it upsets you that much, you don’t have to follow me on two different accounts? it just sounds like i’m really bothering you, and i don’t know what you want me to do about that

personally i feel like qquackity is a thief of mind :p very self centered character who seems to be very aware of their own flaws but doesn't do much to really try and fix those flaws at the core(?) if that makes sense. i didnt watch dsmp so im unsure if any of this is leftover from his old character

His classpect in on dsmp was Prince of Mind so being Thief of Mind on the qsmp is not far off! I see you!

*reading* the Mind aspect unlike its counterpart the Heart aspect that concerns itself internally, Mind does so externally - this could be how they are perceived by others. It is the 'rational' thought put into a decision and the different roles they put on to respond to certain situations. I found an interesting take that a commonality Mind players share is that their actions are driven by a principle (eg: terezi and justice, right and wrong) and in this case q!Quackity's driving principle is the very concept of roles itself. The strive at first to be a father and to have a complete family, the role of a teacher, the role in the Federation, the role of being the groom at a wedding. Even if it means subjecting others to this principle - these are the different masks Quackity puts on and how he wishes everyone to perceive him.

Then there's the Thief Class which means to steal mind/ steal WITH mind, which for reasons above makes sense as he tried taking full custody of some of the egg kids and much more - even if he isn't good at it it's the thought that counts lmao. Thief is an active class (+self serving) which makes even more sense for Quackity as most of the things that he does he does to benefit himself (his image).

Additional extra stuff I particularly like THIS analysis on Thief of Mind and a lot of what op says connects to q!Quackity's story so I recommend reading it if you're interested. Some quotes in particular I want to point out:

Hands down my favoritie fuckign thing because litterally they had such good set up THEY DIDNT EVEN NEED DREAM JUST TUBBO AND FUNDY TOGETHER YES ANDING THEIR WAY TO EXORCISM, AND THE WHOLE THING WITH THE ROOM BBH MADE IT LITTERALLY could blend SO well into the Red Egg Arc. AND THEN NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND IVE BEEN SO FUCKING DEPRESSED, ,

People who know me know I've been counting for fuckign forever until I stopped because it became so fucking rediculous, and now that it's all over I don't have to

1. the character everyone gets wrong

Cfundy, people always dumb him down to just wilburs son and it's so fucking annoying. He's a little bitch, he's likes get rich quick schemes, he's a little silly with no qualms about blowing up the community house, he loves to prank it's the way he just is but when characters laugh along with him instead of at him (cause all the furry jokes, those were ESP annoying in 2020 like jesus), he really appreciates it causd fundamentally he feels alone, he is a follower because he craves that approval while at the same time wanting to stand out as boisterous as he is, but fandom somehow didn't understand why Fundy was so interesting and dumbed him down just like canon did, like how did they fuck it up that bad

Also, one little thing here abt QSMP, qmariana in English fics I feel gets mischaracteristed so much. He suffers the same issue from cfundy where fandom just takes other characters words for it instead of looking at what qmariana actually does, for one he is NOT a cheater he is a loyal motherfuckef to a fault like he really does love qslime and Juanaflippa with all of his heart, HE WAS A GOOD FUCKIGN DAD HE DID TAKE CARE OF JUANAFLIPPA WHENEVER HE COULD HE JUST WAS FUCKING BUSY, he just wanted juana not just to be rough like her papa slime but also be a bit kind and soft, to reel it back and not cause that much trouble that's why he kinda objects to juana getting a lighter cause like now she sjust gonna cause trouble for no reason, he is also not the normal one of slimeriana like no they both aren't normal, this is the man who no hesitation will initiate Minecraft gay sex, you have thank qmariana for giving us Clocks by Coldplay related trauma live on stream, he cusses out people a lot, he threatened to blow up the funeral so he and everyone else can join Juanaflippa, he likes to start beef with some of the eggs for no reason just like qQuackity (see example; beefing with Bobby), like I feel English fandom people don't incorporate ccmariana's sense of humour in qmariana even though it's the funniest part abt him (some extent qslime as well for this reason too, people tend to forget he's not just sad but also fuckign insane sometimes)

hello to my tumblr followers!! for those of you who enjoy my qsmp content i will be posting a bit of art in a bit that i forgot to post here. For the qsmp enjoyers and OT enjoyers, i have a small announcement to make! warning: 📚 mention

(OT enjoyers, this is written in a way so the ppl who follow me who enjoy qsmp i can tell what OT is) I am going to try to continue work on the qsmp animatic i started about qcellbits character arc back around when he got kidnapped (i started procrastinating and got busy after the rescue) it will certainly NOT be finished within the week as im very busy again starting monday (bandcamp sigh) but i will try to get it done before school starts again for me! i also plan to make another 2 minutes animatic focused on qquackity and qelquackity after that and some election stuff. I might try to finish another wip animatic before this one, as i have one animatic in the works about a dsmp fanfic / au i really enjoy that ive been procrastinating for months and is now a bit difficult to continue due to stuff ive recently learned about 📚team. sadly i cant rlly avoid including the characters in the animatic with the plan for it but in the future, for those who enjoy my content of that (OT, on temporizing, for the non ot enjoyers), i will in the future be making majorly ot!karl focused things as to avoid 🟩's character in the animations, since ot!🟩plays a fairly big role in the fic itll be difficult but i will do my best to minimize📚 for anyone uncomfortable with them ^^ as well as im not fully comfortable depicting them anymore. (Note: Since ill be moving to ot!Karl focused content for OT, karlnapity will still be included meaning ot!sapnap will still be included here and there) I hope you all can understand and respect my decision on this.
