Leliana Scarf (Description in alt)

This scarf is crocheted in acrylic yarn in purple, brown, and silver. The medallions are 3D printed (model free here) and painted silver to mimic the look of Leliana's in-game hood fasteners. This was my first time making a hood and I learned a lot from it! I'm toying with incorporating the idea of one into future projects

I was replaying Origins while I was working on this and was struck by the conversation with Leliana about the flower in the garden. I wanted to pay homage to that moment, so her moment of divine inspiration is tucked into the collar here. I learned a lot from the embroidery-style work I did with the Fenris scarf and I am much happier with how these roses came out. Next up is probably Josie, since she would round out the advisor scarves (and because she is the light of my life) but I have started the preliminary plans for a Vivienne scarf too c:

reading your tag about that leliana post makes my brain expand a little more... so i have to ask if you have romanced leliana with any of your wardens? if yes then do any of them have the same view/thoughts on leliana as yours?

I have one warden that romanced Leliana, yes, (though Morrigan is my most Beloved - even more than Celene, for as little as I talk about her. I would, in fact, burn all of Thedas for Morrigan - even Orlais.)

The character that romances Leliana - Anais, an Amell - doesn't really see it like that no. She bonds with Leliana about the Chantry, and fully embraces Leliana's softer side. Leliana thrives under that, especially because of the headspace she is in during Origins, but things slide out of control once the Blight is ended and Amell becomes Warden Commander of Ferelden. There is more politics and more Leliana adivising - I hc that they break up for while even, and are only drawn together a short while before the Anders Thing:tm:. But even then Anais is in denial about the darker parts of Leliana, even tho she has them herself now.

Some of my other wardens do see through Leliana's sort of hollowness, Mahariel and Tabris for example, but they are not very close to her to actually affect that in any way.
