Creppy Old Guy
I was listening to "Creppy old guy" from the Beetlejuice musical and then I remembered "Lolita" by Lana del Rey while I was here and reading DPxDC stuff so…
Danny and Vlad meeting the Batfam.
Bruce knows Vlad is a somewhat harmless weirdo and his kids pick up on it almost instantly, so all good as long as they stay away from him, right?
Well no, because Vlad starts getting even weirder by talking about how one of Bruce's kids looks like his dear Daniel (the emphasis on his raises red flags even in people who don't go out kicking criminals at night), charmingly talking about how nice he is when he's not being a tantruming brat and then he calls the kid and there he is, the much mentioned "dear Daniel" appears, wearing heavily covered clothes (because he doesn't want his ghost wrestler bruises to show, thank you), looking very uncomfortable when Vlad puts a hand on his shoulder and dwarfing himself (he doesn't want to be here, but he's going to do it for Ellie, because she wants to go to school and he just has to avoid ripping Vlad's hand off with his teeth) while seeming to want to say something but noticeably clamming up while watching the older man out of the corner of his eye ("it's Danny, damn it" is what doesn't come out of his lips).
Bonus: someone from the Batfam "overhears" Danny and Vlad talking about a girl named "Ellie" and how Danny only stays with him because of the girl, because one of the two has to be a good father… Danny is 15 years old.
Or if this happens with Plasmius and Phantom I want the Batfamily to freak out because here they are meeting this adorable little dead teenager that almost everyone loves (because Damian tolerates him just because of Cujo, he doesn't like Danny, shut the fuck up) and then there goes the aforementioned teenager spouting things like "Plasmius keeps pestering me to live with him and I already told him that if our daughter ran away from him, what makes him think I'd want to live (heh) with him? " and "Who is Ellie? Oh, it's my daughter (they repeated that joke so much that now it's an automatic answer), it was a surprise, especially because Plasmius did it without my consent but I still love her" and we can't forget "Dan was the product of a horrible moment in my life that I hope doesn't happen and I don't want to talk about, I'll just say that the most shocking thing about him is that although he had things of mine he looked a lot like Vlad".
Danny doesn't say it with bad intentions, but referring to Dan and Ellie as his children helps him to overcome a little bit the trauma of his creations, neither is his intention to make Vlad look so bad, that's totally the other halfa's fault, no one told him to act (and be) like a freak.

THE RULES that I have been going off of, for everyone voting as if this were a fight to the death:
this is a regular episode of Danny Phantom
the cats are loose in Amity Park, this is not an arena or anything.
there are a lot of cats but they aren't trying to kill Danny in particular or are unrealistically aggressive, they are just cats, a good chunk of them being kittens or unable to fight, probably confused as to where they've been transported to
they act like normal feral cats do (there is a difference between ferals & strays). they are not smarter (they think cars are animals) or trained any more than in canon, which does not include fighting humans with technology that can trap cats (it is canon that they cannot fight this & do not train to fight this)
the cats do not have special superpowers that can oneshot Danny, because this is not canon in Warriors. they are literally just animal ghosts. i think they have prophetic visions about the clans, but I don't see how this helps them escape Danny's C&R program as it didn't help the last time
Danny has all of his canon powers
Danny has all of his "training" & practice from canon
Danny has all of the canon Fenton tech, maybe even ghost proof live traps because let's be real, Maddie & Jack would immediately make a bunch if there was a ghost cat problem
Danny has the benefit of looking up "how to catch feral cats"
Danny has help from whoever he is allied with in canon
we're all stupid because this is not the question we should be focusing on
we should be focusing on how the hell Starclan suddenly disappearing would affect the clans
my answer under the cut
Tumblr media
Danny would win, but it would take him months to catch all of them & he would suffer the whole time
he's a dog person too so he wouldn't know how to handle them. Sam would be able to handle them but as soon as any of them start to warm up to Danny (probably like Pinestar or another warrior-turned-kittypet) Cujo would show up & they'd all scatter
except for Swiftpaw, he'd probably fight Cujo, traumatizing him & making it impossible for him to get along with cats in the future, obviously making the situation worse

Tell me more about your tntduo Danny Phantom au!!
I haven't actually watched it but I'm genuinely curios cause I love your art about it <3
Oh- I'll give you everything about this AU!! I have how many ideas and plots!! But I really remind you all that if you want to watch Danny Phantom, I don't recommend reading discussion about AU is because it will contain spoilers about the series as well as a bit of the latest comic Danny Phantom, which was just released 2 weeks ago!!
If you ask "wait you can make fanfic?!" Well I can but I'm not sure I can execute the story well :( !!! I mostly just conceptualize AU just for fun so if you want to use this idea i allow you- just credit me please.
Plot idea simply:
yo Wilbur is only 16 years old and he is half dead from an accident in the ghost portal. trying to feel alive in a half-ghost state, becoming an impromptu super hero, trying to adjust to the life of ghosts & humans- having internal conflicts with his parents who are hunting for his ghost side as well as conflicts with his younger brother Tommy. Everthing passed then Quackity appeared in his life. Q who is annoyed at her because he & his 'dragon' destroyed his love life & tried to kill Wilbur ghost side, one day they are then forced together in a school project and then learn about each other and start to get close (on the human side only) time passes and Quackity still hunting for Wilbur, a bored Wilbur offers something to Q "How do we become Psycho competitive rivals??? Instead of hunting me how do we fight who can catch and beat more ghosts!" and Q are hesitant at first but he accepts it- they develop more maybe they turn into boyfriend :Âł???
Fine let me explain. Danny & Wilbur have a lot in common.
Been a sim: ✓ Ever died: ✓ Have a 'twin': ✓ Emotional support sibling: ✓ Have rivals + love interested: ✓ Explode something & lose everything: ✓ Thought to be a bad person but actually depressed: ✓
C!Wilbur & Danny experience the butterfly effect and their lives are inversely proportional because of that, Wilbur loses everything just by losing the election while Danny loses everything by cheating on the C.A.T exam & ends in a bang.
Danny: VLAD! please get rid of the MY ghost side! They must agree too!!
Wilbur: PHIL! kill me! Kill me! They will definitely agree!!
(I kinda forgot how the dialogue was sorry)
Well in the end Wilbur & human side Danny died. Leaving their ghost side… Then they came back to life.
I'm not sure whether to make Dan/Dark Danny in this AU?? It will be a heavy & complex plot, if you don't know Dan is a fusion of ghost Danny & Vlad also the 'evil' & depressed version… In his timeline he destroys the whole world and tries to kill Valerie for getting in his way btw- so in the latest comic he is back and at the end becomes an emo teenager in Danny's clone body that Vlad made.
Let talking about Quackity!!
Quackity plays as Valerie in this AU!!! In the original version, Valerie's life was destroyed by Danny & Cujo (ghost dog) who messed up where Valerie's father worked so that her father was fired and sold their house easily, causing Valerie to hate ghosts, especially Danny & Cujo, got ghost hunting equipment from Vlad Master Valerie became a ghost hunter and exterminated them also tried to kill Danny's ghost side but over time their relationship grew more complex over time especially in the season 2 especially, they even had a date!! It's canon!! But unfortunately they also broke up in the same episode… And since then Valerie was forgotten and only appeared in 3 episodes in the third season…
Quackity's story will be a bit different from Valerie to than the ghost dog what about the ghost dragon?! Well the canon dragon in Danny Phantom with the Amulet of Aragon ghost/human can turn into a ghost dragon when angry or strong emotions— I thought it was great how can include Qsmp, its members & the dragon eggs in this AU ahaha ^^
So the story goes:
Quackity was so happy to be able to ask his boyfriend to go date (I have no idea who) they really love the date but Wilbur & the 'dragon' completely destroy their dating in restaurant, Q has a big fight with his boyfriend and they end up breaking up on the restaurant in middle of all people. Quackity experienced severe stress and started to hate ghosts then someone gave him a gift, a ghost hunting tool. Quackity started his career as a ghost hunter-
Someone: *addresses ElQuckity as Ellie* Me: *remembers what the phandom call Dani as Ellie too, the clone theory oh Dani is a Danny clone too wait…* SHET THIS GENIUS!!! GREAT IDEA EVER!!!
THE IDEA: TECHO AS WILBUR CLONE AND ELQUCKITY AS QUACKITY CLONE!! THAT'S THE COOLEST IDEA SHETT THOUGHT OF EVER!!!
That all i can think- feel free to ask to my ask box hehehe ^^👍

Application Rejected
When Danny adopted Cujo he saw him as a puppy, which was a little sad considering the implications. He always thought Cujo was the only one who had stayed, the only one whose soul had persisted. He thought Cujo was alone.
He was wrong. Not all adult dogs and puppies stayed, of course. But many had. Cujo was simply the only one who decided to return to the world of the living, probably because of his obsession with his toy.
One day Cujo showed him where they were all hiding; Danny knew that those dogs had not stayed for the same reason as Cujo, they probably had a myriad of different reasons, and that was fine.
The problem was that excluding some of the adult dogs (that obviously were fine on their own and didn't care), there were many puppies similar to Cujo running around in need of affection and he couldn't adopt them all (besides, Cujo would definitely get jealous). And while many ghosts agreed to take a couple, it wasn't all of them, so Danny did something extreme.
He held an adoption fair in Amity, which was a smashing success. He just forgot that a lot of people in Amity...were usually traveling, and the ghost puppies would follow.
Then, a few days later when a scowling guy showed up (he obviously wasn't part of the general Amity Park population) and demanded a "bright green" puppy, Danny said no and refused his application. He couldn't trust someone with no knowledge with a ghost dog. Although he did offer him a course to learn about their care.
Damian Wayne was offended with his overall assessment. He was obviously the right person to care for one of those pups. So he set out to prove that to the boy in front of him, without hesitation.

Valerie's abcd headcannon.
Headcanon A:  realistic
She picked up karate from her dad Damon, who himself actually was a black belt too back in the day (which he often utilized well at his security job).
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious
When she'd inevitably learn the truth about Cujo being the one responsible for the events of "Shades of Gray", Valerie makes it a vow to keep the lil beast far away from her...
...Until that vow ultimately becomes broken as the ghostly pup suddenly declares her as his new master one day, gleefully begging for treats/pets/play-time when near. Cue the huffy look on Val's face as she now has to explain to a snickering Danny & co. why she's got a ghost dog riding back home with her on her hoverboard... hmmm~
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
Valerie's mother passed away when she was little, having lost her life on the job as a firefighter. Giving Valerie the shock of her life would be seeing her mother's spirit blissfully wandering around the Ghost Zone one day... and thus, her once-rigid stance against ghosts being tested tenfold knowing that's what became of her beloved mom.
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
Despite their past rivalry over Danny, Valerie and Sam do become legit friends after awhile of getting to know eachother better. Finding a connection through their shared strong wills, loyalties to their loved ones, and not being afraid to challenge the other's viewpoints is what forms them into an unbreakable friendship overtime. Would most likely even develop into lowkey crushes at some point (esp. since Sam seemed pretty 'taken' by her huntress look in canon, hehe~)

DP X DC PROMPT: Damian's quest to get a dog (the boyfriend that comes with is a nice bonus)
Damian is fuming as he listens to John Constantine's lecture on the Infinite Realms. He asked to get another dog and his father refused - citing that he already has too many pets and he has to be responsible for all of them, his siblings cannot help -, then forced him to attend a stupid meeting about the Ghost King's coronation which prompted an overview of the different types of ectoplasmic entities. He's much less angry about it when Constantine tells them about ghost animals. Damian knows what he has to do: if he can't have another dog, then he can summon one.
He's not expecting for it come attached to its owner. Or for said owner to be so beautiful.

My Danny Phantom Headcanons
I’ve been reading A LOT of DP fanfics lately, so I’ve had plenty of time to gather headcanons and think of a few of my own (as far I know anyway…) So, just cuz I have lots of feelings about these, I’ve made a list :D! As per the usual with me, these are all Danny-centric.
If it’s starred*, I’ve seen it in a fic/tumblr post and loved it (credit where it’s due, folks!). Unstarred ones are the ones I came up with after way too much thinking and feelings on my part, meaning this is gonna be a bit long-winded, so bear with me and enjoy the ride!
Body Temperature: Because he has a cold core, his body is naturally colder than the average human’s. That means he’s immune to the cold, and can withstand the summer heat.
People always have him be super sensitive to the heat, and that makes no sense to me. He has an ICE core, which means his internal body temperature is colder than normal. To me, that means his body is cool even during the summer.
I’d imagine Danny wears light jackets during the winter to keep an image of normalcy, but not out of necessity. It’s canon too; In Infinite Realms, Danny is the only one not wearing a jacket in the FarFrozen, and that’s BEFORE his core acts up.
Cujo*: Even after Shades of Grey, Cujo keeps coming back to Danny. At some point, Danny gives up and stops denying the accusations that Cujo is his dog.
Listen, the cuteness of this concept has been KILLING me. Imagine Danny going to bed and just, waking up to Cujo casually sleeping on his bed like he belongs there. Bonus points if the Fentons let him keep Cujo cuz “he might be a ghost, but he’s still just a dog”.
Green Blush: Ectoplasm is green, ergo Danny PHANTOM blushes green. ‘nuff said.
There’s not much to this one, I just think it’s cute af.
Ghost Prince: The Ghost Zone, whether Danny knows it or not, sees him as their prince after he defeated Pariah Dark. By the Ancient Laws, Danny has technically earned his title without even realizing it. He starts noticing that lesser ghosts were terrified of him, and even recurring ghosts like Skulkur are approaching him with more caution than usual. “King” to the Ghost Zone is different, of course. Historically, Kings were only symbols of power rather than the source (the source is almost always a council of sorts), so my take on Danny being “king” would be the same. He’d go by PRINCE because A) He doesn’t want all that power, and B) He’d have a council to back him up, like the FarFrozen, Pandora, Dora... So Danny wouldn’t be the core of the authority, but he would certainly be the most powerful ghost. But unlike Pariah, Danny would still have a huge influence in what happens because his council would consist of allies and friends, he just doesn’t realize it cuz he’s a self-conscious dork.
The idea of the headcanon isn’t mine, but my take on it and my explanation is all me. The way I see it, the Crown of Fire and Ring of Rage are artifacts that ADAPT to their user’s power. So, Pariah’s would be fire and anger, but Danny’s would Ice and, idk, faith? I’m not as sure on the second one, but it definitely wouldn’t be anger.
Secret Genius: Danny is actually pretty smart, but because he no longer has the time to study, his grades are suffering. If he puts his mind to it, he CAN get A’s, he just never finds the time to actually do so.
LISTEN. THIS. THIS HEADCANON GIVES ME LOTS OF FEELINGS. We’ve always assumed Danny was always a C-average kid, but I disagree. There’s enough subtle evidence to show that Danny is actually pretty smart. I mean, Danny strikes me as more of a practical genius than a book genius, but still. If he can come up with plans while fighting ghosts, then that’s pretty damn impressive.
The episode I like to reference for this is Teacher of the Year. Danny didn’t have time to study and failed a major test, but as soon as Lancer forced him to study, Danny got a solid A-. An “idiot” wouldn’t manage to achieve that, they’d get a B at BEST. But Danny got an A-! I would also like to reference One of a Kind, where Danny gets a D on his biology report because he couldn’t study in time. His reaction to the D was not that of someone who’s used to failing, and I speak from relating to him. If he was so used to getting C’s, why was he so bummed out even after Lancer raised his grade to a C? I’m willing to bet that before the Accident, Danny’s grades were actually pretty high.
Astronomy Nerd: This IS canon, but there’s so little content on it, it’s almost nonexistent. Give me Danny naming all the constellations. Give me Danny fanboying about space. GIVE ME SPACE JUNKIE DANNY.
There are so many opportunities for this to shine through. Why are there so many moments about Tucker and his technology, about Sam and her “individuality”, but so LITTLE on Danny’s love for space? I’m especially mad about Memory Blank; there was a METEOR SHOWER happening, and Danny didn’t bat a single eye at this??? Couldn’t they at least throw in one single line? Or at least a HINT? This episode was such a wasted opportunity.
Void!Danny*: Nocturne notices that a lot of Danny’s dreams revolve around space and decides to take advantage of that. He’s so passionate about them, Nocturne converts that passion into raw energy and “controls” Danny, not unlike the way Undergrowth controlled Sam.
I know, logically, this can only happen in a Reverse Trio AU, but I much prefer the canon. My take on this would still happen in canonverse because I goddamn love this concept and I need more of it.
Electricity Trauma*: Danny technically half-died in the Accident, so his body is already weird. Danny’s supposed to be DEAD, but he isn’t, so his body continues to remember the pain of death because he’s only halfway there. Electricity shocks his body into remembering his “death”, so even a small shock feels like he’s reliving the Accident all over again.
I read about this concept in a fic and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I’ve never thought of the PTSD that might accompany Danny DYING, but now that it’s in my head I can’t unthink it.
Ghost Lair*: After the Accident, Danny wakes up in a strange room with walls and a ceiling that are literally made of stars and galaxies. This is his “lair”. All ghosts canonically have one in the Ghost Zone, and Danny is a ghost, halfa status aside, so that means he has one too.
I read a fic where Danny woke up in the Ghost Zone instead, and it snowballed from there. Seriously, imagine Danny thinking he’s dead after waking up in his lair. The ANGST this could create. Anyway, if all ghosts have a “door” in the Ghost Zone, Danny should have one too, technically.
Ecto-Exposure*: Amity Park is a small town, so everyone hears about Danny’s accident. The Fentons just say Danny got exposed to ectoplasm while he was unprotected, so when the students at Casper High notice Danny displaying strange ghost-like qualities, they reason it’s because of the accident and don’t ask him about it because he’s been traumatized enough, right? (Danny is oblivious to all this and panics every time).
I saw a tumblr post on this and I loved it. The original idea was that the whole town already knows the Fentons have been exposed to ectoplasm a lot, so when Danny gets his ghost powers no one questions it because Jazz and Danny have been acting like this for years without realizing it. I tweaked the concept a little, but the idea isn’t mine. Credit where it’s due.
Human Haunt: As a halfa, Danny still gets regular ghostly instincts, and that includes having a lair and a haunt. He has a lair in the Ghost Zone, but because he’s half-human, he also needs a place to ground him to the Real World, so he starts “haunting” an old abandoned observatory (cuz he’s a space nerd). He goes there every time he wants to be alone and just look at the stars.
I consider this idea my own because I thought of it right after I read the Ghost Lair headcanon on AO3. When he’s human, he has access to his ghost qualities, but it’s never the other way around, so logically his ghost instincts should leak into his human half too, right? And he would totally do it without noticing. He’d be blowing off some steam when he notices an old observatory. He gets curious and checks it out, and after realizing the telescope still works, he spends hours just looking through it. He feels happy and at peace, and those emotions create an instinct in him to return here every time he feels down.
Deathdays*: On any ghost’s deathday, there’s an unspoken rule not to bother on that day. Danny starts noticing that every year, the day of accident, no ghosts show up to bother him. Some even leave him gifts, which he’s paranoid of at first, but after finding out what deathdays mean to ghosts, he starts appreciating them. On this day, he feels much more connected to his ghost half and finds himself going to his lair (which is different from his haunt) every time. Bonus points if he spends the day with one of his ghost friends.
This idea isn’t mine, but I read about it somewhere and I’ve been in love with it ever since. I also saw this really cute comic on pinterest where Danny is crying and the Box Ghost tries to comfort him by giving him this beautiful glowing box thing. It was really cute and my heart melted into a puddle. Anyway, yes, deathdays. ‘nuff said.
Obsessions*: A ghost’s reason for living is their obsession. Danny’s is often portrayed as protection or heroics, but I think it’s more specific than that. Danny’s obsession isn’t just protection, it’s protecting people from knowing the pain of death, whether emotionally or physically. That would be because he “died” painfully via electrocution, and because his friends had to watch as it happened (Danny feels that specific urge after he realizes that Sam feels guilty about the Accident).
Danny’s obsession is always protection, and that’s accurate to him, sure, but I feel like it would be a little more specific. After all, most of the obsessions we’ve seen in canon aren’t as simple as a single-word concept.
Skulkur doesn’t just want to hunt creatures, he wants to hunt rare creatures and be the best at it. Ember doesn’t just want popularity, she wants to be remembered by people. Lunch Lady doesn’t just love meat, she thinks lunchtime is sacred.
My point is, all the ghost obsessions we’ve seen thus far aren’t as simple as we think they are, at least I don’t think they are.
Clockdad™: Canonically, Danny is Clockwork’s “responsibility” after the events of TUE. Clockwork starts feeling protective of Danny after he keeps watch of him and realizes how tough his life is, especially at school. He can’t mess with time just for one kid, so instead he opts to do little things, like leaving him a note to remind him that he has a test to study for, or giving him vague pieces of advice when he feels Danny needs them. On Danny’s second deathday, Clockwork gives him a digital clock that reminds him of important events whenever he forgets them (don’t ask how, it just knows). He also gives Danny free rein to visit him whenever he wants to “because I’m technically your mentor now”.
This headcanon I came up with on my own after watching TUE. It was such a cute concept, and the most realistic take I could think of. Danny would teasingly call Clockwork “an overprotective dad”, and even if he denies it, Danny knows the truth and just smiles that cute little smile he gets when he knows he’s right (think of his smile in Fanning the Flames when Sam tries to deny her feelings by blaming Ember’s spell).
Those were all my headcanons, original and second-hand. Do you have any you want to add? I’m curious to know!

Ghosts in Gotham
Tumblr media
Danny Phantom / DC Comics
Dedicated To: @psychovigilantewrites
Description: The Batfamily has been through their fair share of the supernatural. That’s why they originally weren’t worried whenever ghosts started showing up in Gotham City. Until one day, something happens; Batman is captured and taken into the Ghost Zone. With no way to go in there themselves, with no way to fight the ghosts inside, the bats decide to call the person who can; Danny Phantom. Together, Danny takes Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne into the Ghost Zone before the Batman is lost forever.
Word Count: 3523
Ch 1 Ch 2 Masterlist
Chapter 3:
_
Danny could deal with a lot.
He'd dealt with dying. He'd dealt with becoming a ghost. He'd dealt with ghosts trying to kill him. He'd dealt with finding out that his dad's best friend wasn't only a halfa like him, but that he wanted to get with his mom. He'd dealt with ghost prison. He'd dealt with finding out he'd been cloned. He'd dealt with finding a future in which everyone he loved was dead and he himself was evil. He'd even dealt with girls.
He thought he could deal with anything.
But being stuck a small space with Damian Wayne and Tim Drake?
He wasn't so sure he could deal with that.
"You incompetent creature, why on earth are you listening to a C-average oaf instead of me?"
"Because the 'oaf' has been here before. We haven't."
"I possessed more intelligence than you and Fenton combined whenever I was four years old, and I have memorized the Infi-map. I am completely capable of commanding this voyage."
Danny's eye twitched at the arguing. It was worse than he and Jasmine. "Does it ever end?" he asked Stephanie through gritted teeth. The blonde sighed.
"Damian feels like he has to prove that he's superior to Tim," she explained. "It's not my place to tell you exactly why, but it's true. And he knows exactly how to get under Tim's skin."
"So.. no?"
"No."
Danny groaned. "It's giving me a headache." He perked up as he saw the island in front of him. "Hey, guys," he said, "We're here."
They had reached the lair of Clockwork. Clockwork was the master of time and could see into any timeline and all of the possible outcomes. Danny had the idea of asking him if he could show them the moment in which Bruce Wayne had disappeared, in the hopes that they could see which ghost it was.
It was a long shot, but it was the only idea Danny could think of.
Tim and Damian had stopped their arguing, unbuckling their seat belts as Danny landed the Speeder on the grounds of the lair.
"So this guy can tell us who took Bruce?" Stephanie asked as she opened the door, stepping on to the ground. Danny nodded.
"Yeah. I can't promise he'll help, but it's our best bet."
The foursome walked towards the massive clocktower, Damian walking in step with Danny as he gripped his sword. Danny knocked on the door, and it opened with a creak.
"Hello, Danny," a voice said. "And hello, Bats." Clockwork floated down. He was a small ghost, purple in color with a darker purple cloak.
"Whaddup, Clockwork," Danny greeted. "Long time no see." He heard Stephanie laugh at the pun behind him and then heard her grunt as Damian elbowed her.
"It has not been long to me, Danny," Clockwork replied. His eyes drifted over the group. "What do you want?"
"I assume that you know, Time Master," Damian answered before Danny could open his mouth, stepping forward until he was right beside a swirling vortex, although his eyes remained on the ghost. "We are looking for my Father, and Phantom says you can help."
"Damian Wayne," Clockwork said curtly. "Son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al’ Ghul. I understand that you are worried about your father, but I would suggest you step back before you see something you don't want to."
Danny was surprised to see that Damian obeyed. He narrowed his eyes. Clockwork almost seemed... nervous? "What aren't you telling us?"
"You are indeed a smart boy," Clockwork chuckled, "I hope you also can deduce that you were not brought here on accident. I was originally going to go and tell you myself, however, I have seen that it would be better for you to have Stephanie Brown, Tim Drake and Damian Wayne at your side."
"What's wrong?"
"Something has happened," Clockwork turned around, clasping his hands behind on his back as he floated further off. "The Observants have underestimated your power," he turned back around, locking his gaze with Danny's. "The power you have not yet gained."
Danny's face paled. "You don't mean-"
"That is all I can say," the ghost interrupted. "Leave now. I have work to do. I have to stop a little boy with a powerful watch from destroying his timeline."
Danny, however, couldn't move. He was frozen, his eyes wide. There was no way. He was locked in a thermos, with no possible way for a ghost to escape.
Although, that ghost wasn't just any ghost.
"What do you mean by that?" Damian demanded. "Tell us more. Now."
Clockwork looked at the boy with humor in his eyes. "Mr. Wayne, you should not threaten me." He waved his hand. "Now go. You do not have much... time."
Danny shook his head and turned around, walking towards the exit in a trance-like state. With a glance at Clockwork, the others followed, with Damian at the rear. Before he could leave, Clockwork called his name.
"Damian, listen closely," he said, shifting into an older ghost as he spoke. "You will one day get an offer. It will be a tempting offer, one that you will not want to refuse," his eyes darkened. "Do not accept it."
Damian blinked, before strutting outside to follow the others, not responding to Clockwork's warning.
Tim, Stephanie, and Danny were already on the ship as Damian walked out. As he opened the door to step in, he tuned into the conversation.
"So, you're telling us that an evil version of you exists outside of time, and it has Bruce," Tim said slowly. Danny nodded.
"We call him Dark Danny. In the alternate timeline, he- or, I, I guess -watched our family die. He couldn't handle the pain and guilt, so he had Vlad Masters- bad guy, by the way, deck him if you ever see him at a rich-person party -turn him into a full ghost, getting rid of the human side completely. It drove him mad, and without his human side, he was the most powerful ghost in the Ghost Zone. He destroyed the world."
"How did you defeat him?" Damian asked, pulling a capri-sun out of his cooler as he listened. Danny ran a hand through his hair.
"I don't know. Dumb luck, honestly. I guess I have a power that he didn't get until years later, and it knocked him off his game so I could take him down." He grimaced. "I probably wouldn't have beat him if I hadn't surprised him. He took down all of the other ghosts in the Ghost Zone by that point,"
"He must've taken out the Justice League, too," Stephanie mused, crossing her arms. "You said you didn't see them anywhere, right? The only reason they wouldn't have been fighting him is if..." she trailed off.
"We can defeat him," Damian said, crushing the capri-sun in his hand as he finished. "If Phantom can defeat him, then with our help, we can, too."
"Yeah, but like I said, it was only because I surprised him," Danny pointed out.
"Then let's surprise him again," Tim said. He took out the Infi-map. "Danny, who's your worst enemy here? If we can get them to help, and that might knock Dark Danny off his game."
"Pariah Dark," Danny answered instantly. "But that's a terrible idea, trust me," he paused, thinking. "We do need backup, and I know of at least two who could help." He turned his body intangible before Tim could respond, and flew out of the Speeder. He landed in front of it, and putting both of his fingers in his mouth, he whistled. "Come here, Cujo!"
It took a few seconds, but a small green dog zipped in front of Danny, jumping in his arms and knocking him over. Danny smiled widely as he scratched behind Cujo's ears.
"Hey, little guy!" he laughed as the dog licked his face. "I missed you too! You down for an adventure?" Cujo barked, wagging his tail. "I'll take that as a yes," Danny said, phasing back into the Speeder.
"Guys," he said, setting the dog down. "I'd like you to meet Cujo, the best boy in the entire Ghost Zone."
Damian's eyes lit up behind his mask, kneeling down and hugging Cujo as the dog barreled into him, not paying attention as Tim spoke.
"Don't get me wrong, he's adorable, but he doesn't look like he can pack a punch," he said, watching the dog fondly.
"Trust me, he's a fighter," Danny assured him. Tim nodded.
"If you say so, but man, I wish I had a dog," He walked over to where Damian was, scratching Cujo's back. Damian scowled, pulling the dog closer.
"Get back, Drake, Cujo clearly prefers me over you."
"Damian, come on, you have so many pets and I don't have any-"
"You have Bart."
"Bart is not my pet-"
"He is the human version of an Australian Shepherd minus the intelligence-"
As the two bickered, Danny looked at Stephanie. "Damian likes animals?" Stephanie laughed.
"Oh you have no idea, he has a dog, a cat, a cow-"
"A cow?"
"His name is Bat-Cow!" Damian snapped from where he had begrudgingly let Tim hold the dog.
"I love everything about that," Danny laughed. "That's the best name." Damian looked at Tim with a smug look on his face.
"See, Drake? Bat-Cow is a great name."
"I never said it wasn't!"
Danny started to ask Stephanie a question before he heard a crash and the Speeder lurched to the side.
"We've been hit!" Tim yelled, jumping off of the floor and grabbing the Speeder's controls, trying to steady the craft. Danny merged out of the Speeder and narrowed his eyes as he saw the culprit.
A gray ghost in black armor with flaming hair sneered, his arm smoking from where he had shot the Speeder. "Whelp," he growled.
"Nice to see you too, Shorty!" Danny said in a mock-cheerful tone. "Here to kill me? Because you didn't have to shoot the ship, you could've just yelled 'I am Skulker, and you are my prey! Prepare to die!'" he lowered his voice as he imitated the bounty hunter. "And then I would say something witty back, and I would pound you into the ground."
"You aren't the only prey this time, Ghost Child." Skulker answered with a menacing grin.
"You after the Bats?" Danny asked with a raised eyebrow. "If you were trying to kill them, you did a crappy job of it. That blast didn't kill anyone."
"That's the point. I think it'd be fun to beat the proteges of Batman, so they need to be alive and able to fight." he pointed downwards, and Danny followed his gaze, before swooping down to follow.
Somehow, he hadn't noticed that the Speeder was plummeting down to the island below. While the Specter Speeder was durable enough to keep from dying on impact, he didn't want them to crash.
He hurled himself in front of the Speeder, and crossing his arms, made a force  field that surrounding the Speeder. Danny grunted at the exertion, gritting his teeth as he tried to keep the force field surrounding the heavy ship.
The ship still crashed with a loud bang, leaving a large crater around it, but the ship itself was intact. Danny dropped his arms and fell to his knees, exhausted.
The door opened, and his three companions stepped out. "Nice one!" Stephanie praised, and Danny gave her a thumbs-up as he tried to catch his breath. He felt somebody nudge his shoulder, and he saw Damian standing above him with a capri-sun in his hand.
"Drink this," he said, handing Danny the drink. "Do not waste it. I can destroy you."
"Thanks," Danny panted as he poked the straw into the pouch. Damian nodded stiffly.
"Hate to interrupt," Tim said, helping Danny to his feet. "But that that Iron Man wannabe is headed this way."
Danny finished his drink and threw it over his shoulder as his fists lit up with a green aura, ignoring Damian's huff of protest at the littering.
Skulker chuckled as he cracked his knuckles. "Well, look at that," he sneered, "Not a scratch on you! I'm impressed."
"You? Impressed? Who would've thought," Danny said, narrowing his eyes.
Tim pulled out a bo-staff, twirling it around as Damian unsheathed his sword. Stephanie moved to stand beside Danny as she gripped her eskrima sticks.
"Oh, you will soon be impressed yourself," Skulker said as his arms morphed into guns. "You see, I-" he was cut off with a grunt as Danny rushed forward and sent a strong right-hook into his face.
Skulker flew back a few yards before finding his feet again. He glared at Danny. "That was low even for you Ghost Boy. Interrupting me I monologue."
Danny shrugged. "What can I say? It’s the same reason why I’m failing Chemistry; I have a short attention span.” He grinned. "But he doesn't!"
While they had been talking, Damian had managed to get behind Skulker. He jumped into the air, drop-kicking the ghost, sending him to the ground with a thud. Danny picked Skulker up and gave him an uppercut, launching him into the sky.
Skulker shook his head, steadying himself, and shot a barrage of ectoblasts at the four heroes below. Danny made his body intangible while the others, used to being shot at, dodged the blasts with ease. Tim shot his grappling hook at Skulker, wrapping the cord around his leg and pulling him back to the ground.
Tim swung the cord, launching Skulker to the side where his body was met by two hits of Stephanie's eskrima sticks. Skulker merged through the cord and landed on the ground, his teeth grinding together in fury.
"Enough!" he shouted, and sent a shock wave from his arms that blew them back. "I am sick of your pathetic attempts at besting me, whelp! When will you learn that you cannot best the Ghost Hunter!"
"Uh, kind of hard to learn that after I've beaten you, like, every single time we've fought," Danny retorted, putting his hands on his hips with a smirk.
Skulker's eye twitched. "My employer said to bring you in alive, but I don't think he'd mind you all missing a few limbs." His arms morphed into missile launchers, and he held them out at the four.
"Phantom, you possess electrokinesis, correct?" Damian asked quietly, tensing his muscles. Danny nodded.
"Yeah." He met Damian's eyes and smirked as he realized what the younger boy had in mind.
Damian grabbed on to Danny's arm, and, turning them both intangible and invisible, Danny carried Damian into the air, right above Skulker. One of Danny's hands crackled with electricity, and the tip of his fingers brushed against Damian's sword. The blade lit up like a taser. Damian and Danny exchanged a glance and, using Danny's shoulder for leverage, Damian jumped, free-falling towards Skulker.
By the time Skulker saw Damian, it was too late. Damian jabbed his electrified sword into Skulker's armor.
"Oh, crud," Skulker muttered as his armor crackled with electricity, before short-circuiting and launching him into the sky and out of sight.
"Nice one, Damian!" Danny floated to the ground, a wide smile on his face. He raised his hand for a high five. "Up top!"
"Tt. The act of high-fiving is such a ridiculous notion," Damian muttered, but he smacked his hand against the other's anyways. "You did quite well yourself."
"That guy-" Tim popped his shoulder back into place, wincing. "-does not pass the vibe check."
Stephanie snorted. "That guy is the vibe check, Timbers."
Damian sheathed his sword. "I assume that we all have gathered that his employer was Dark Danny?" It was more a statement than a question.
"Oh, for sure," Danny said, before stumbling as Cujo barreled into him. Danny huffed as he lifted the dog to his face. "Where were you, big guy?"
"Are you sure this dog can help us take Future-You down?" Stephanie asked with a raised eyebrow. "A fat lot of help he just was."
"I think he was just sleeping," Danny said as he sat the dog down. "I promise he'll be useful."
"Ship looks pretty good, considering," Tim said from where he was looking at the Specter Speeder. "I think whatever he hit us with just killed the engine. It should start back up."
Danny frowned, a finger on his chin as he pondered aloud. "So if Future-Me has employed Skulker, then he's gotta be somewhere that Skulker has access to. His lair, maybe? But I doubt it. They'd need to be somewhere with some pretty high-tech stuff if they're keeping Batman hostage."
"Are there any technology-related ghosts?" Stephanie asked. Danny didn't answer at first as he watched Tim switch the Speeder on.
"Yes," Danny finally answered. "There is, but I doubt he knows who he's working for. Skulker probably doesn't know either." Danny paused, and the smallest hint of a smile ghosted across his face as another thought struck him. "And I bet Skulker's girlfriend knows even less than that."
_
"So you're tellin' me Skulker's working for Future You? Who took away my voice and my beauty?" A ghost with pink, flaming hair in a high ponytail asked. "Now why the heck would you do that for? I thought we were cool."
"We are. This guy is me from another timeline. He isn't me." Danny explained to Skulker's girlfriend. Ember McLain, the Ghost of Song, crossed her arms, her lips turning into a frown.
"No way he would work with someone who wronged me like that. He would never."
"He doesn't know," Tim spoke up. "He probably just offered him money, or whatever currency you use, in exchange for taking Danny and us."
The Infi-map had taken the four to Ember's lair. If anybody could convince Skulker to stop, Danny had reasoned, it would be her.
"With you, Skulker, Cujo and Wulf on our side, we can beat him," Danny said. "Seeing Skulker and I work together might trip him up," he paused. "You do want to beat this guy, right? I mean, he will end up destroying your voice." Even though Ember might not care about the human world being obliterated, she would definitely care about the same thing happening to her voice.
Stephanie and Damian had stayed in the Speeder with Damian. Stephanie's eyes were wide behind her cowl. "Damian, that's Ember McLain," she whispered. "Remember that song Remember from a couple of years ago? The one Jason wouldn't stop singing on patrol? She sang it! And she's a ghost!"
"Of course she is a supernatural being, Brown, I told you she had the voice of a siren," Damian whispered back.
"I'll talk to him," Ember agreed. "He'll listen to me. You guys go find Wulf, and we'll meet you at Technus' place."
"Great." Danny smiled. "Thanks, Ember. I owe you one."
"Well, I might just take you up on that sometime, Ghost Kid."
"So, Wulf," Tim began as the two walked back towards the ship. "He's like a werewolf? You said?"
"He isn't a werewolf, but he looks like what you'd expect a werewolf to look like," Danny explained. "He's a beast, literally and figuratively. And his claws can tear open a portal to our world, so once we get Batman, we can get out of the Ghost Zone fast."
"Great. Where is he?"
"That's the fun part," Danny replied as he got into the Specter Speeder. "We have to break him out of prison. And the people who own it do not like me.”

DP x DC idea/prompt Okay Wayne Industries has hired a new employee that's Phenomenal at their job. They have every program and software up to date- everything working smoothly without any interruptions or delay. Only strange thing is no one has ever seen them. They work strictly remotely due to disability. However, they are not on record to exist except for the last few years. Sam, Tucker, and Danny are runaways, running from GIW. They had to leave everything behind to keep themselves, the ghost zone, and their love ones safe. They're too young and have no way of actually being hired without finding out. Thankfully one of them is great at hacking, and he's been dreaming of working there for a while and now he has the perfect opportunity to show his skills AND work for company. However despite all his skills- They don't go unnoticed. A certain Tim Drake and the rest of the Batfamily had already figured out this "new hire" wasn't who he said he was. In fact, they may have found out it was a group of runaway teens before the second week. Now the only question they have, is why? Also Tim thinks its fun to test Tucker's skills and purposely throws viruses his way. Sam and Danny are probably focusing on doing the main shopping/looking out for giw and doing odd things for extra money while Tucker is living his dream.. remotely.. and anonymously.. but hey its the dream and the pay keeps them well afloat. Luckily they found a place that won't ask questions as long as they get the money.
Basically the Bats are keeping this group of teens employed while figuring out why they're on their own. Also while helping anonymously make their mystery employee (s) get better at their documentation by asking for information here and there without penalty. Its become a game, especially to Tim. XD

Book Thirty-Nine: The Green Mile
Hoooooly crap, y’all! This is the halfway point of this project: I’ve read thirty-nine books, and I have approximately thirty-nine more to go (depending what Steve releases before the end of the year). And honestly? If it wasn’t for COVID, and quarantine, and lots of time traveling (pre-COVID, of course); I wouldn’t have reached the halfway point. This probably would have turned into a two year project. But here we are, diving into The Green Mile!
Of all the Steve books, I dreaded re-reading The Green Mile the most. I had originally read it when it was first published, and it came out in chapters every few weeks. I’d breathlessly tear through a chapter, only to have to wait for the next one to be released. It was a pretty fun format, and I really wish I still had my original chapters. Oh well.
But this time around, I didn’t think I was in the right head-space to read it, and the world sure as hell isn’t in the right head-space. The Green Mile was published in 1996, and takes place in 1932. It could very well have been set in our current climate. Just a few quotes for you...
“He got (his sentence) commuted mostly because he was white...”
“I think we have to be humane and generous to solve the race problem. But we have to remember that your negro will bite if he gets the chance, just like a mongrel dog will bite if he gets the chance and it crosses his mind to do so.”
“John Coffey is a Negro, and in Trapingus County we’re awful particular about giving new trials to Negros...”
NOTHING HAS FUCKING CHANGED SINCE 1932!! We are still hearing these same sentiments from people claiming, “I’m not a racist, but...” Our judicial system is still biased against POC, and the rate of incarceration for POC compared to whites is staggering.
NOTHING HAS FUCKING CHANGED. And that’s the part that makes me the most sad. So, yeah, I wasn’t looking forward to cracking The Green Mile in our current climate.
Few Steve books have touched me the way this one did. A fellow Constant Reader pointed out, “This is one of the only stories where he showcases the forces of good. We usually get ghosts and demons, but John Coffey may be the closest thing he has ever wrote of an angel...” Hot damn, Sam Beall, you’re not wrong.
But in addition to forces of good, we’ve also got Percy Wetmore; who I feel is the nastiest Steve villain ever... he makes Randall Flagg and The Crimson King look like dudes who drink matcha lattes at a cat cafe, and compare notes on their polarized sunglasses. Percy Wetmore immediately activates my, “must kick hard in the junk” reflex. He. Is. The. Worst.
The Green Mile is told from the POV of Paul Edgecombe; a prison guard on “the green mile;” which is where convicted killers awaiting the death penalty are housed. “The green mile” refers to the long hallway inmates have to walk down to get to the electric chair.
The story kicks off when John Coffey (like the drink but spelled different) is accused and found guilty of brutally raping and murdering two little blonde twin girls. He’s found on a riverbank, clutching their bodies, and crying, “I couldn’t help it, I tried to take it back, but it was too late...”
So, Coffey makes his way onto The Mile, and shares space with Eduard Delacroix and his pet mouse Mr. Jingles; and William Wharton (Billy the Kid, or Wild Billy, depending on the day). Delacroix is French southern gentleman found guilty of murder, and then arson to hide the murder scene. He’s a bad guy... don’t get me wrong... but there’s something intensely likable about him. Maybe it’s the pet mouse he’s trained, maybe it’s his meek nature that Percy (another prison guard) takes advantage of... I don’t know. But you grow to like him, and the relationship he has with Mr. Jingles. Mr. Jingles randomly showed up one day, and the guards (except Percy) were all taken with him. After Percy attempts to smash him with a club, he takes to Delacroix and whispers in his ear that his name is Mr. Jingles.
William Wharton is another story. He’s a wild card, who upon his arrival, promptly tries to strangle a prison guard. He also spits masticated Moon Pie at another guard. Sooo, he’s a lot of fun.
The three of them live on the wing, and the first up for execution is Delacroix. Percy has a particular hatred of him, he claims he tried to grab his junk once. It didn’t happen... Del just got yanked along when he was in handcuffs and fell in Percy’s lap. The day before his execution, Percy thinks it might be fun to kill Mr. Jingles. Like I said... total fucking asshole. He stomps on him, and Del loses it. Mr. Jingles is the only thing he loves in the whole world... and maybe the only thing that loves him back.
Thinking quickly, Coffey asks for Mr. Jingles little mousy body. Speaking of junk grabbing, he grabbed Paul and cured the UTI he had brewing for weeks. So, Paul is hopeful Coffey can use his miraculous healing abilities to do it again. And he does! Mr. Jingles lives!
But Percy’s not done being a scab on the balls of society. The night of Del’s execution, he tells him Mr. Jingles isn’t going to Mouseville like Paul promised he was (total lie- like telling kids a dog is going to live on a farm). And then, Percy doesn’t wet the sponge before placing it on Del’s head prior to his execution, so it’s horrible, painful and just horrible. So, Del is dead, Percy plays the, “I don’t know what happened!” card, and Mr. Jingles is gone. My heart. Of all the scenes in the book, I was dreading this one the most.
Meanwhile, the prison warden, Hal Moores is struggling with the fact his wife Melinda has a massive brain tumor, and it’s starting to change her personality. He doesn’t know what to do. Paul thinks they should pack Coffey up, and take him out to the Moores’s house and have him heal Melinda.
It’s a crazy idea, but it ends up working. The other prison guards drug Billy; and  put Percy in a straitjacket and throw him in the supply closet so he doesn’t notice anything is amiss. They tell him it’s payback for how Del’s death went down. So, they race out to see Hal and Melinda, and Coffey does his thing. They race back to the prison, and no one notices they’ve been gone. However, Coffey is in a bad way. This was much more healing than he’s used to doing, and he’s mentally and physically exhausted.
After they release Percy from the supply closet, Coffey grabs him and “kisses” him: which transfers the sick energy he got from Melinda into Percy. Percy then turns around, and shoots Wild Billy/Billy the Kid dead; and then becomes catatonic.
He’s then carted off to the psych ward, which is too good for him. Fiery pits of hell would have been better.
But wait!
Plot twist! Billy the Kid had briefly touched Coffey, and Coffey learned HE was the one who had killed the two little girls.  Paul puts this together as well, and tries to fight for Coffey’s release. He realizes Coffey’s words,  “I couldn’t help it, I tried to take it back, but it was too late...” were about his inability to heal the girls, not his guilt.
When I had read the revelation the first time, I flew through the end, hoping and praying justice would be served, and Coffey wouldn’t be executed. Bad things didn’t happen to good people like John Coffey, right? Oh, how naive. There were A LOT of tears.
But Coffey is at peace with his upcoming execution. He tells Paul, “I’m rightly tired of the pain I hear and feel, boss. I’m tired of bein on the road, lonely as a robin in the rain. Not ever havin no buddy to go on with or tell me where we’s comin from or goin to or why. I’m tired of people bein ugly to each other. It feels like pieces of glass in my head. I’m tired of all the times I’ve wanted to help and couldn’t. I’m tired of bein in the dark. Mostly it’s the pain. There’s too much...”
That right there makes me cry every damn time I read it.
So, Coffey is executed, and life continues on; as it always seems to do. Paul is actually writing this story in his old age, at the  Georgia Pines nursing home. There’s an orderly there who’s just as evil as Percy, and he keeps trying to follow Paul on his daily walks outside. Where’s Paul going???
TO SEE MR. JINGLES!!!
Yes! He’s still alive! It seems when Coffey healed people, it added onto their life expectancy. Mr. Jingles was still alive, and Paul was one hundred and four years old. But he knew his time was coming. He reflects on the loss of his beautiful wife, the people he knew on the Green Mile, the guards he worked with, and that mile seems LONG.
Such a sad, beautiful end to an incredible work. This is another one I recommend to people who tell me they don’t like Stephen King. Try it... you’ll like it... when your heart is done breaking that is...

The Summer of Del'goxoth part 18
The next day in the morning back at Gravity Falls, Wendy comes over to Danny home with her camping gear all in a backpack she carrying. Wendy is thrilled to go camping with him, and she might hope something extraordinary happens during their camping. Wendy knocks on the Danny front door, and the door opens up to Danny with his backpack filled with outdoor supplies and Cujo next to Danny.
"Hey Danny ready go camping?" said Wendy
"No yet Wendy I gotta get a few water bottles from the fridge and makes sure Cujo don't cause trouble to the town while we're gone," said Danny
"Can I wait on the couch?"
"Sure,"
Wendy comes in Danny home, and Danny closes the door behind her Wendy removes her backpack and rested on the couch then Cujo jumps on Wendy lap.
"For a ghost dog he sure is cute," Wendy thought as she pets Cujo the head "if Mable was here she totally wants to keep the puppy to herself,"
Danny goes to the refrigerator he grabs a few a water bottle from it and puts them into his backpack. Danny went to get Cujo, but he stopped by Washington who had a bit of a weird look on his face.
"What wrong Washington I thought you it was fine for me to go camping with Wendy?"
"It's not that Danny," Washington sighs "just turn on the TV and looked at the news,"
"Why?"
"Just do it,"
Danny finds the remote to the TV on the kitchen counter he turns on the Tv and flips through a couple of channels to find a New station with a live video feed of Amity Park in terror with ghosts on the loose then go to the news anchor.
"The town Amity Park is under a massive ghost attack leaving one question where is Danny Fenton?"
Wendy sees the news as well "Oh no Danny," Wendy thought then she listens in on Danny and Washington conversation.
Danny turns to Washington, "how did this happen?"
"I'm not supposed to tell you from the FBI but seeing that it's your hometown I'll tell you a Del'goxoth cult member broke into the Fenton works killed a couple of FBI agents and open the ghost portal,"
"Are my parents are okay Washington?"
"They are fine Danny,"
"Got to get back to Amity Park before those ghosts destroy the town,"
Danny turns into his ghost form, tries to leave the house before Wendy stops him.
"Danny you can't go back home yet," said Wendy
"Why not Wendy, my family and friends, need me,"
"I know but think about it why a Del'goxoth cult members release ghosts and killed those FBI for one reason,"
"To get me back home,"
"Exactly the cult probably setting up a trap the moment you step foot in Amity Park,"
"She right, you know," said Washington walking up to them.
"So what I'm supposed to do Wendy?" said Danny
"Just wait for a moment and figure out a plan,"
Danny looked to the ground, took a breath, and change back to his human form looked back up to Wendy.
"Alright let's make a plan,"
"Good,"
"Now we need to figure a way to capture up all the ghosts in the town and maybe put a stop to this cult once for all,"
"How do you put a stop to a cult that has been going on for years?"
"From what I read from the flies what that the FBI gave me the cult have a leader that has a bloodline to the first leader I say find her and put her away in jail and the cult is good as dead," said Washington.
"Why are you helping me Washington aren't you supposed to be working with the FBI?" said Danny
"Because it's the right the right thing I do not want to stop you from saving a bunch of people because the FBI screwed up and are in way over your their head,"
"Thanks, Washington,"
"No problem kid,"
Wendy thought of an idea and snapped her fingers "I think got something that can stop the cult,"
"And that would be,"
"I'll show it to you but you gotta let me help you fight the ghosts in Amity Park,"
"Wendy this isn't like fighting Logan Hall we're talking about my toughest ghost I fought on a daily basis," Danny gets worried and concern if Wendy gets hurt or worse if he brought Wendy to Amity Park.
"C' mon Danny I can take care of myself I fought the weirdest and scariest things in this town I can handle the ghosts don't have to worry about me,"
"I don't know,"
Wendy grabbed Danny by the shoulder and looked at him in the eye, "do you trust me, Danny?"
Danny could see how serious Wendy wants to help Danny "yes,"
"Then let me help you with taking back your town,"
"Wendy you can come with me to Amity Park,"
Wendy smiles at Danny "you won't regret this Danny,"
"I can't believe how selflessly Wendy is couldn't fall header for her," Danny thought.
"I just got to figure a way to convince my dad to let me go across a couple of states to fight ghosts,"
"Don't worry, I can take care of that," said Washington
"Then let's go to Mystery Shack and get the tool I was talking about,"
Danny and Wendy head over to the Mystery Shack Danny wore his River disguise they go inside, and Wendy went to the cashier stand she looks under it she pulls out the memory gun.
"It's a good thing that Dipper let me borrow this last summer," said Wendy
"What is it?" said Danny
"It's the Memory gun that me and my friends use to wipe the memories of the Blind eye society we can do the same thing for the Del'goxoth cult,"
"That's a great idea, Wendy,"
Then Soos walks into the gift shop and sees them, "Hey Wendy; I thought you're going camping with a friend?"
"Change of plan Soos,"
"Oh okay, who is this guy, your new boyfriend," Danny and Wendy blushed to Soos comment.
"No I'm River and Wendy, and I are just friends," said Danny
"My bad," Soos looked at the Wendy holding the memory gun "what are planning to do with that Wendy?"
"Well, River needs his stepdad to forget that River dented his prize car,"
Danny play along in Wendy lie "that's right he can be very serious about his prize car,"
"Alright just don't be careful with it,"
"We will," said Wendy
Wendy and Denny leave the Mystery Shack for only Stan approach them with a duffel bag.
"Stan what you are doing here?" said Danny
"My brother and I saw what is happening in Amity Park and we figure that you two we'll go there, so my brother made this for Wendy," said Stan handing Wendy the duffel bag
Wendy looked into the duffel bag to find a black and red medium size automatic crossbow with dozens of green arrows.
"Woah, this looks badass," said Wendy
"My brother says that arrow can paralyze a ghost for 48 hours,"
"To your brother thanks and thank you, Stan,"
"Your welcome Ford wants to know how well it works once you get back from Amity parks,"
Danny and Wendy head back home to find Washington at the front steps of the house.
"I took care of your dad Wendy and fine with you going to Amity Park," said Washington
"What do you say to my dad?"
"That you'll be off in an FBI future recruitment in Chicago and he bought it,"
"We got all the stuff we need it," said Danny
"Now we got to catch a plane back to Amity Park,"
Then Cujo comes running out of the house to Danny and jumps to his arms. Danny catches the dog.
"What are we going to do about him?" said Wendy
Danny looked down at Cujo and looked at Wendy "he coming with us,"

Bruce, Stephanie and Tim don't want you to do anything about Danny they both want to date him.
Steph because he's hilarious. Tim because he pisses Jason off and he is petty.
And Damian just wants Cujo.
Only Dick and Jason want something to be done.
After defeating Pariah, Danny finds out he's the new ghost king when his royal guard shows up and refuses to leave.
Given that the ghost king is historically not the kind of person who requires much protection the royal guard tends to be somewhere between honor guard and vanguard as well as a showcase of the king's closest allies. That doesn't mean they won't throw hands (or swords) if anyone attacks their king.
Danny's got Fright Knight representing the Ancients, one of Frostbite's warriors, one of Pandora's warriors, one of Dorathea's guards, and Cujo as the main body of his guard.
In Amity Park this is... not inconspicuous exactly, but it isn't too hard to make it a little less obvious they're protecting Danny specifically. There are plenty of ghosts around, after all, and they only get involved when someone is being attacked. Their presence makes it a lot easier to drive the GIW out of town.
But then college application time comes and Danny has to account for things like ambient ectoplasm levels and how likely an eight foot tall flaming knight is to cause a panic when he decides where he wants to go.
There's really only one choice unless he wants to go to Amity Community College and for all the advantages there (access to the portal, ghosts are normal, cheap) they don't have much in the way of engineering or astronomy classes.
Danny is going to Gotham.
(Sometimes it really is just impossible to avoid the rogue attacks. Unfortunately most ghosts don't care or understand much about Phantom and Fenton being separate identities. Fright Knight sending people to the nightmare dimension for attacking Danny Fenton is going to be hard to explain.)
