Bad Habit: Cooks everything on high heat

Literally cooks on a fire engine. It looks scary the first time you see it, but he assures to have never come close to burning down his house. Seonhee doesn't like this at all.

Likes: Playing Mahjong with Seonhee

She's a though match and tends to win often. Tesso tries very hard to beat her.

Special Skill: Can fall asleep anywhere

Tends to not sleep at night, so, he tried getting rest anytime he can during the day. He even fell asleep standing up one time (without falling).

Currently Hooked On: Manga

He checked out what one of his subordinates (probably Yeona) was reading and he ended up really into it. He recalled giving manga not much attention when he was young, so he regrets missing out on it a bit.

Hobby: Gardening

Grows radishes and cabbages on the rooftops of some Restaurant Row buildings. Uses it exclusively for Seonhee's kimchi, Yua's dishes or meals for his subordinates (so he's not selling these, family only!).

Wants To Learn: Dancing

He got curious from hearing Yagami being an advisor at Seiryo. He thought it might be worth trying as a workout since it looks fun.

Last Thing He Bought: A drone

Kaito and Yagami gave him the idea. Totally frivolous since he has no real use to it, but worth it since he had never seen Restaurant Row from above.

Kid Tesso: Had a Hip phase

Long ago, he was all about dressing stylish and a so-called streetwear enthusiast. Took good care of his shoes even to a ridiculous degree ("Gotta keep my AirForce Ones white no matter what"). Looking back, he finds it funny that he doesn't really care about that sort of things anymore.

When He Can't Sleep: Goes on a long walk

On nights he can't find sleep, he just walks the streets of Yokohama to clear his mind. He challenges himself to memorize as many details about the streets as possible. It's useful at times.

Embarrassing Moment: Bleached his hair blond after losing a bet

Sugiura dared Tesso on a drinking duel out of the blue and lost terribly. To celebrate his win, Sugiura suggested Tesso tried out his hairstyle just for fun to see if he liked it. It was supposed to be dark brown but ended up leaving it for too long, so he was blond instead (like a #27).

Tesso hid his head under his jacket hood the entire following week, waiting long enough to dye his hair back to black. Since no knows it happened (Sugiura kept a lot of pictures though), they both could laugh about it. Tesso is just glad to not have gone bald.

Knows A Lot About: Shops in Yokohama

As per the long walks, he memorized many shops of Yokohama. For most things, he can always give a recommendation of where to look.

Favorite Food: Anything Zhao cooks

Seonhee is trying hard to make him admit it, but he just can't do it. Between her cooking and Zhao's cooking, deep down, Tesso likes Zhao's a little bit more. Nostalgia is a bit at play here since his food is very reminiscent of his uncle's old restaurant. However, Zhao is just that good of a cook, what can he say!

Current Dilemma: Buying dinner for all of his subordinates

Since the merge of the Liumang and Geomijul and being the second officer in charge, his number of subordinates pretty much doubled. It's nice since he gets along with them well, but it can be tricky and hard on the wallet to treat them all to dinner. Finding out something everyone will like is always a challenge.

Chronic Illness: Early-stage arthritis in his fingers

He is quite young for arthritis, but his gloved claws and stiff articulations of his hands make things worse. It's bearable for now, but he's unsure of how he will handle it in the future.

he should have seen it (her) coming.

that was his second mistake of the night. his first was taking a kit kat bar from the sweets table when he should have known better. the chocolate bar brought nothing but painful bittersweet memories and yet he took it anyway, his hunger enough to cloud his better judgement. he supposed that must have been the catalyst to the whole thing. 

benjy knew he couldn’t avoid her forever. it was easier back when he was a trainee because they didn’t have to be in the same room (him paving his way in practice rooms; her mingling at star-studded events) but now that they were both idols…. he was surprised that he lasted this long without running into her at all, despite their clashing events. of course, there were some close calls (which involved a lot of running on his side) but he had hoped he would manage to go through the year without an awkward meeting with his ex. but guess fate — if he could call it that anyway — had other plans for him apparently.

he was just about to bite into his kit kat when he bumped into her, or her shoulder to be exact, too caught up in his snack to notice her coming his way. he could have made his quick getaway if he looked up one second earlier but it was pointless. they always had the worst timing when it came to each other.

last semester i struggled a lot with calculus, and for a few exams straight i got c- and below, and i think the thing that pulled me out of that was talking to my teacher. he told me to really think about why i sought good grades and what i was working towards, and once i had more security in my goals it strangely made me a lot more confident going into tests. there are so many different paths that can get you to a good place, and if you keep yourself open to them, there will always be good opportunities for u to seize!!

i've cried in so many random ass restaurants and classrooms checking my test grades and i think that letting yourself feel bad for a few hours is necessary, but it also helps to remember that exam scores are in no way reflective of your intelligence or your worth! idk if you live in the us but for standardized tests here there are quite literally tutors who will just tell you how to get a near perfect score, and strategies like that, though they work, don't teach anything whatsoever. this is becoming a lot longer than i intended (i could talk for hours about how much i hate the way schools handle tests) but whether it was a quiz or a huge exam, moral of the story: this won't last forever.

Her entire life she has mostly been pampered like a princess almost, however, she was always taken care of by people other than her parents, who were busy running the company, leading to her basically having to raise herself. She was also jealous of her older brother a lot due to him being the “favorite” since he was the heir to the company and was constantly fawned over by her parents, who ignored her and her younger brother and sister. She ended up also having to raise her younger siblings since they were also ignored by her parents. When she was 5 she went to her first concert, which caused her interest in music and singing. As time went on she started taking singing lessons. When she decided to start her career as a idol when she was 19, she explicitly told her parents she was going to start from scratch and build up her career on her own without their money or help, which they respected and haven’t in anyway influenced her career as a idol since. Her career started to really kick off when she was 21, with the release of her 10th song, “What Is Love?”, which was conceptualized with the question of “What is love, really?” as Yeona had no real concept of what love was since her parents were quite obviously in a loveless relationship, having more kids for the sake of having extra heirs in case of Yeona’s older brother being unable to take over the company when her father dies. Yeona’s first relationship was the first time she had ever really known what love was like, and despite the relationship not working out in the end, her and her first love are still friends. Yeona’s second relationship was with a fellow idol, but again, it didn’t work out. Yeona’s third relationship did end up working out as her third lover ended up proposing to her, and she said yes. However, tragically, her fiancée died in a car accident due to his friend being drunk and driving without him knowing and they both died in the crash. Yeona was devastated and put her idol career on hold to mourn. Because of the loss, Yeona ended up believing she could never love someone like that again because she was so lost in what to do, since her future with her fiancée was now gone and she didn’t know what to do with herself. However, eventually, she managed to move on somewhat and started back up her idol career with the song “Hearts Separated By Death”, then followed by it’s sequel, “Mended Heart”. Yeona got into swimming a little bit after her fiancée’s death as something to distract herself from everything and keep her mind off things.

Yeona could be described as a big sisterly sort of person, caring very much for those around her due to the fact she had to raise herself and her two younger siblings. Yeona overall lives in the present, especially after her fiancée died, preferring not to plan because things could go to shit very quickly. She enjoys every second and like to savor happy little moments and just not think about everything else. She also can be a bit absent minded, getting lost in her own world sometimes because of a desire to go to a world where everything can last forever- of course, she knows it’s a stupid fantasy that can never come true. Yeona also is very good at reading people, and it’s very hard to hard to hide what your feeling from her. It’s also hard to lie to her, though someone like Rika could still manage to deceive her. O Showcase Stage é uma coletiva de imprensa agendada para grupos de Kpop quando fazem um grande retorno, onde podem performar suas músicas, e responder perguntas feitas por grandes canais de entretenimento, ou até do público.

No primeiro dia do ano, o novo grupo da Black Comet Entertainment, eClipse, fez seu debut com a title-track Break Your Heart, e o mini-album de mesmo nome, sendo o primeiro girl-group da empresa desde 2009. Mesmo tendo um conceito similar ao antigo girl-group, o Touchdown, eClipse traz uma imagem estratosféricamente mais polida e infinitamente mais cativante, apresentando as integrantes Zoe, Melorie, Vega e Yeona.

MC: Muito bom dia a todos presentes! Hoje estamos aqui para um momento mais que histórico, que achei que nunca mais diria na vida: O debut do novo girl group da Black Comet Entertainment. A empresa que já foi lar de grandes nomes como o boy-gorup da primeira geração, SP4RK, o boy-group da segunda geração, BLANK, o girl-group da segunda geração, Touchdown, e diversos solistas, duos e trios no meio do caminho, e agora dá as boas vindas a suas quatro novas estrelas brilhantes: eClipse!

[eClipse] Yeona: Bom dia a todos! Bom dia MC… Bem, o nome do grupo foi bolado pela equipe de criação da Black Comet sobre o pretexto de misturar garotas que mostram um lado mais sombrio, com garotas que mostram um lado mais luminoso… e como pode ver, são duas duplas! - ela diz rindo, apontando para si mesma e para Vega como a “luz” e para Zoe e Melorie como as “sombras” - Mesmo com essas posturas diferentes, um eClipse é justamente sobre o contraste de um com o outro, e nós quatro estamos bem sintonizadas umas com as outras para entregar a luz, as sombras, e tudo de mais incrível numa mistura icônica, que é o nosso grupo!

MC: Nossa.. não imaginava que tinha um conceito tão sólido assim! Mas e por que o C é maiúsculo?

[eClipse] Zoe: Por que o YG-oppa fez todos os outros grupos da empresa em letra maiúscula…

Mais uma vez, todos alí riem com a frieza, o deboche e a sinceridade de Zoe em suas palavras, com o MC até ficando um pouco surpreso do jeito que ela se refere a falta de criatividade do CEO.

MC: Bem, vocês são o primeiro girl-group da empresa depois de muito tempo. Qual é o sentimento de ter um grande grupo como o Touchdown como comparação?

[eClipse] Melorie: Bom dia a todos! Bem, pra ser sincera, nós trabalhamos muito nossas cabeças para ficarmos bem centradas em construir nosso próprio caminho, e não necessariamente seguir o das nossas Unnies. Elas até acompanharam nosso treinamento por algum tempo, mas já haviam saído da empresa quando a line-up do eClipse foi fechada. No final das contas, não é muito legal colocar dois grupos em comparação desse jeito, por que se esperar que nós façamos exatamente algo que foi feito no passado, nunca haverá nada novo no mundo. Apesar de nós também sermos um grupo de quatro integrantes, o eClipse tem uma estética bem única… okay, é bem cedo pra dizer isso, considerando que nós acabamos de lançar nossa primeira música, mas no final das contas é esse o material que apresentamos agora, então, esperamos que possamos convencer a todos que cada eClipse é bem único. Claro que nem todas escreveram grandes partes de várias músicas, mas todas estavam presentes em algo. Zoe e Vega tem mais facilidade em escrever os raps, e a maioria deles foi escrito por Zoe, já Vega ficou encarregada de transformar o que foi escrito e deixar com “a cara de um verso dela”. Melorie tinha uma abordagem bem provocante para adicionar as nossas letras, e eu me sinto mais confortável em escrever versos inspiradores e impactantes, então, com o trabalho de cada uma, nós juntamos as peças para fazer nossa obra prima!

Zoe e KJ vinham com rimas afiadas com um toque ácido, e Yeona se encarregou da parte melódica da música. Foi um acontecimento incrível; um grupo que ainda ia debutar escrever uma música com um gigante da indústria… É para poucos, viu?! Haha--

Foi ele que conversou com a MØX e encomendou uma faixa, e ele disse que ela foi meticulosa em adicionar detalhes para deixar a música incrível… bem, vocês conseguem ver os resultados, né?
