i saw your post about c!techno and c!skeppy being mutual friends, but i just wanted to propose my personal headcanon of them being old, long-time friends from even before the dsmp (to parallel their youtube history together, but also bc of techno reaching out to skeppy to free carl (and jokingly to free dream), and techno being the first one to see skeppy's skywars map in the smp, + they always kinda had each others backs tbh, techno trusting skeppy enough with his trident and giving him spare armor) -- and in 2019, dream was the one who built the parkour dungeon in that one skeppy and techno video, so i feel like the rivalsduo background can go deeper as well

it would make sense that c!techno and c!skeppy have a bit of history considering their interactions on the dsmp. i think that's a cool idea!

honestly, i'm really here for the idea that c!rivals duo's closest mutual friend is skeppy. it implies so much about both of them that i really love the whole thing.

-> arguably the most obscure since it's a crossover between two aus that aren't even posted publicly, but i gen adore it sm<3 db!crimeboys is a hero au where tommy is just. Welp. A dumbass<3 he's my fav tommy ever guys 😭😭 he's my friend's au and I just SOBS most precious guy ever... And halcyon crimeboys is a detective au. Basically take the dumbest tommy and tired older brother Wilbur and make them meet the smartest crimeboys. It's very silly:))

2. Psych x Dsmp

-> okay hear me out. Hear me out. Shawn Spencer is literally Tommyinnit. They are the SAME. Now Phil as Chief Vic, Techno and Wilbur as twin detectives who both function as Jules and Lassiter (platonic ofc), and Tubbo as Gus. It fits way better than it should 😭😭

3. Critical Role (specifically Mighty Nein) x Dsmp

-> guys. Guys. I went on a rant on here like a year ago BUT CADUCEUS AND TECHNO'S CHARACTER DESIGNS ARE EERILY SIMILAR TO EACH OTHER. Tall pink dude w animal traits (cad is more cow, tech is more pig)? Cad is like c!Phil and c!Techno to me... (Is it bc of the tea obsession? Maybe...). I just also think that clingyduo would get along with Jester and Nott/Veth like a wildfire. OR OMG FOOLISH-- Does anyone remember Foolish building dick statues everywhere?? Yeah, he's definitely a follower of the Traveler.

Like Blade is a vampire but does NOT dress the same as Technoblade who might also secretly be a vampire in Tommy's universe lmfaooo

hmm I'm imagining you're talking more about cc pairings and not necessarily in dsmp lore since I don't think c!skeppy and c!techno interacted all that much. so in that sense...

I mean, rainduo is an obvious one but i wouldn't say that's underrated per se. it's just got a complicated history with the fandom, and also this fandom only pretends to like women so a lot of people don't pay attention to it anyway.

I think the only other duo I like that I think qualifies as 'underrated' is tubbo and wilbur (even then I don't know how 'underrated' it counts as). the two of them are both just Weird but in very different ways and it makes it very funny when they both get on a bit because sometimes the wavelengths match up and sometimes they don't. like not to make a crimeboys as brothers joke but tubbo and wilbur really does feel like a teenager hanging out with his best friend's weird older brother

The troll videos are still canon, and LOOK there was a whole stream where Techno actually helped Skeppy make the entire Skywars map (which might I add, Tommy rudely exploded without Skeppy's consent, and Skeppy had literally spent hours building that--). They are bros man. Skeppy never once tried to backstab Techno in the dsmp, and you know who did?? multiple times?? Tommy. Tommy and Techno never got their reconciliation arc. Skeppy and Techno?? They didn't need it. IN FACT, EVEN WHEN SKEPPY WAS LITERALLY EGG'D, HE SAID HE WAS BEST FRIENDS WITH TECHNO. EVEN WHEN HE LOST EVERY PIECE OF HIMSELF TO THE EGG, HE STILL REMAINED BESTIES WITH TECHNO. HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT???

Hello! If you're interesting in a head canon, I have one that I've been trying to work out recently. Also pls note that I'm fairly new to the fandom and especially lore aspects so if something is off, sorry!

Ok so, my hc goes something like this: Bad is known for taking little trinkets from his friends/allies/etc right? My thought was, what if the diamond that Skeppy originally was, came from Technoblade?

Idk Skeppy's orgin concerning his existence in the dsmp so this idea just comes from the knowledge that 1) c!Bad is infamous for taking personal "souvenirs" 2) c!Skeppy is considered to actually be a diamond (not a man in a diamond costume or some such) and 3) cc!Skeppy was friends with cc!Techno before he was friends with cc!Bad (? I'm unsure about that part but I heard Skeppy mention it once in one of his videos)

So basically, in the early days of getting to know the people and forge potential relationships in the canon dsmp, c!Bad and c!Techno have met up a few times and possibly have worked on jobs together? Eventually Bad is able to take or is given a diamond block (or several blocks?) by Techno as thanks and/or payment? (I know Bad likes to be discreet with what he takes but I'm pretty sure Techno would notice a theft of his things and not take that too lightly lol) And I believe Bad is capable of some kind of magic? (Saw one of those "dsmp analysis posts" and the idea got stuck in my head.) So he turns this diamond block(s) into a sentient being and thus Skeppy is "born" (???)

This hc came about bc I just kinda wanted to tie in aspects of the ccs with their characters to give the hc more of a possibility to actually be a legit theory, if that makes sense heh

What are your thoughts on this though? I'd love to hear from you!

oh that's a really fun headcanon, and you're correct on skeppy being friends with techno longer than bad!

i personally dont have my own happyduo origin hcs so its really fun to read yours and its definitely plausible in-canon! i really like the idea of bad stealing away skeppy, although ive honestly always liked the thought that bad assumes skeppy to be inanimate, and he surprises bad by being sentient.

also techno and bad having history that's purely business/transactional is very in-line with their characters and it also makes sense why bad would feel comfortable asking techno for favors, while still being terrified of him. the only thing missing from this headcanon is trying to tie the whole "worst thing to happen to those orphans" quote, because orphanduo isn't orphanduo for no reason.

Hi, I’m Shae (or Shara). I’m unreasonably obsessed with Technoblade (both c and cc). I do like most of the other characters too but just a heads up that this blog is 90% c!Techno content.

I main SBI, the syndicate and have a soft spot for fireworkduo, orphanduo and preyduo too. Also FUNDY, my beloved. I do watch hermits, Tango is my babygirl. Other hermits I watch include Mumbo, Bdubs and Iskall.

All my content/fanfics are 100% about the characters, I’m not interested in RPF. I’m not a fan of shipping either, with the exception of the occasional Kristin/Phil and some hermitships.

Related to the above: I do not support cc!Wilbur, cc!George and cc!Dream and actually would prefer that you do not interact if you’re some kind of stan or apologist for these people, it makes me extremely uncomfortable as an abuse survivor. I do write content that contains c!Wilbur as a fictional character. Do not conflate writing him as support for the creator, thank you.
