This is kinda how I feel about Logan from Sanders Sides. Sometimes, I feel like he, C!Thomas, and the fandom as a whole forget that Logan is Thomas’ Logic, not the universal concept of Logic. That means everything Logan says and does is what Thomas knows, and his strict and professional demeanor is rooted in Thomas’ perception of how Logic should be. So please, don’t let Logan fool you into thinking he knows everything, and definitely don’t let C!Thomas trick you into thinking he’s a complete imbecile! C!Thomas is an incredibly smart individual, he just doesn’t know how to apply his knowledge to his day-to-day! Especially when Logan assumes that Logic must come in the strict, serious, professional form that society (especially the education system/scientific field) has taught him to have, which limits the quality and quantity he has in other forms of intelligence (see Learning New Things About Ourselves).

i do think there is an instinct to overstate vio’s affinity for science . even the Embodiment of a person’s logic is limited by their knowledge/interests, which is why vio can be the most technically knowledgeable and still make rlly poor decisions. He’s a fraction of link…! and link is A) a kid . and B) doesn’t value teamwork . just because vio reads books and Knows things doesn’t mean he values All knowledge

Little moment I love is when in Fitting In, Thomas starts baby talking at Virgil to try to summon him, and Logan looks so done as he watches him, it makes me think of how Logan had seen Virgil as more of an equal than the others for awhile at that point (shown at the end of My NEGATIVE Thinking) and knows that Virgil doesn't like being (and doesn't need to be) babied or coddled
