I just stumbled across your blog (surprisingly). I’d like to ask you a few questions:

Are you active in the music scene in portland..? You have a very cool music taste. I don’t think i’ve met anyone with one similar to mine in my vicinity…. besides my close friends.

No, not involved in any scene. Music or otherwise.

I was big into Neurosis and Eyehategod in the early 90s. Buzzoven was another fave. I did own a Melvins Lysol LP with black tape that I sold for dope money.

Music has always been something often picked up by different friends I would hang with. But I was a record freak since I was a toddler. I had a huge collection. I owned more than I had toys. Mostly 60/70s hard rock and bubblegum. Middle school (80-83) was metal. High school was post punk. Columbus was a HUGE 4ad town. So that bled into all the TOPY / Industrial stuff. Moved to Portland 89/90 and it was all punk and "grunge" and indie. Then it was just whatever since.

Just saw these guys open for Body Void. Wasn't familiar with them before catching them live, but they kinda reminded me of "Sore" era Buzzoven meets Corrupted back when Corrupted still wrote songs that would fit on one side of a split 7". Heavy as hell. Wound up liking them enough that I picked up a CD.
