Heyo! Sorry for keeping my commissioners waiting 😔 Had to pause working on the latest batch of comms since I had to look around for a good wifi router to replace the one I have that got broken last week (am still disappointed how it didn't even last for a month 🥲)
The thing is I don't have enough budget for it since I wasn't really able to reach even half of my kofi goal for this month (I only got around to 36% u_u) so I need a bit of help ;_; I still have a couple slots open for the PCM style comms so if anyone's interested, it would be a big help! If you'd like to help in a small way instead, tips are also very much appreciated! 🥹🙏

how to connect to wi-fi services in pokemon gen 4 (DPPT/HGSS)
it's still possible to access the wi-fi services of the gen 4 games after the official shutdown of nintendo's wii/ds wi-fi in 2013 due to fan efforts by changing your DNS settings in-game - this is called the DNS exploit. this is popularly used in gen 5 which really has no complications, but in gen 4 it's a bit more complicated because the games are So old that they can't connect to the internet through modern routers due to fancy modern internet encryption. the connection either needs to have no password, or have WEP encryption, which most modern routers do not support. i had some people asking me how to do this so here's a post lol
first, it should be noted i use the pkmnclassic service, and i think you should too. this gives you access to old mystery gifts as well as pretty much every other wi-fi feature. their website also allows you to view pokemon currently uploaded to either gen 4 or 5's GTS through your browser. once you get your wi-fi set up properly, connecting to the internet will be easy, but that setup comes first. below i am going to list all the options i am currently aware of and able to explain
option 1 - phone hotspot (easy/convenient, doesn't work for every type of phone)
some phone hotspots are able to use old WEP type encryption, or be password-less. if you have access to a phone hotspot, it's worth taking off the password if it lets you and trying to connect to the gen 4 wi-fi with it before trying any other method, since if it works it's super convenient, just turn on the hotspot any time you want to do something online in gen 4 and turn it back off when you're done. unfortunately this depends on the type of phone and what OS its on and i don't have a list of what phones or OSes are compatible, so good luck lol. mine personally is not, and i have a fully updated iphone
option 2 - guest wi-fi (a little less convenient but still easy if you have access to router settings)
in the same vein as phone hotspots, guest wi-fi hotspots can also work, and this is what i personally use myself. the catch is you have to have access to your router settings, so if you're a young person using a parents' router without access to those or some other situation like that, you may have to ask for assistance every time you want to turn this on/off, which could be a dealbreaker for some unfortunately. but if you're able to do that, simply make your guest wi-fi password-less and turn it on when you want to connect to gen 4 wi-fi and turn it back off when you're done. since these settings pages are so different per internet provider, i can't really give a guide on how to do that here, though mine through verizon fios is pretty straightforward. some guest wi-fi may not work for this but i think most should
option 3 - use an old router that supports WEP encryption (probably inaccessible for most, but only has to be set up once and then you're done)
i've done this in the past but i had my dad's help with the process, i cannot walk you through buying an old router lol. but yes if you purchase an old router and set that up you can have password protected gen 4 wi-fi permanently
option 4 - save backup + emulation through melonds (works pretty much 100% of the time if you have a hacked 3DS and some sort of PC)
MelonDS is a really great DS emulator that you can find here for windows/linux/mac: https://melonds.kuribo64.net/downloads.php
the basic idea is that you can backup your save file/game with a hacked 3DS using Checkpoint or TWLSaveTool (outside the scope of this guide but this is easy to do and you can walk through the steps here) and then run it through melonds, which can bypass all this WEP/encryption hell for you and simply connect to the internet. of course this is not very convenient if you have to constantly back up your saves to do wi-fi stuff but it's better than nothing if you have no other option.
unfortunately setting up the wi-fi can be a pain, and you also need DS BIOS files to run everything properly, which i cannot provide myself for legal reasons but they uh... aren't that hard to find lol, and you can back them up from an actual DS if you have access to the necessary tools for that.
if you use a windows PC, feel free to use my version of melonds which already has all the wifi shit set up, you'll just need to provide your own bios files under emu settings (it's a bit old but it works great for this purpose): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DQotaqFuBwXz1KYdQWiwxghtn3faLgj-/view?usp=sharing
edit: just found out right after posting this that the most recent version of melonds might work out the box without having to do any particular wi-fi setup? so feel free to try it instead of my version if you like
if you are using linux/mac or don't want to use my version, you'll have to use the melonDS FAQ/google to figure it out, i'm sorry!
by the way yes, this means even if you don't have a gen 4 cart and solely play over emulator, you can trade/battle/etc with people who are playing on DS - they connect to the same servers!
okay and NOW once you have one of those options set up, you can actually connect to wi-fi in game by doing the following:
(these screencaps are from my capture card, i am doing this on an actual DS, but you can also do this with melonds if you're using that option)
step 1: navigate to "NINTENDO WFC SETTINGS" in the menu where you press continue on your save file, in-game. in gen 4 you need to do it here and not in your DS settings.
step 2: tap "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings" and pick any of the three connections here to start the set-up. if you already have some here, i'd click "erase settings" underneath to start from scratch.
step 3: search for an access point and pick your desired access point from the list that comes up, and put in a password if needed (this assumes you have set up your wifi properly at this point)
step 4: it will attempt a connection to the internet, and may or may not throw an error. regardless, the error doesn't really matter, you can just hit "OK" whether it's successful or not
step 5: go back into your new connection (the box that previously said "None" should now say "Ready") and scroll down until you see the option "Auto-obtain DNS" - change this to "No"
step 6: change the primary DNS to pkmnclassic's DNS, which is 178.62.43.212 - in layman's terms this will essentially let you connect to their servers instead of nintendo's, which are obviously down. as for the secondary DNS, either leave it at 0.0.0.0 or change it to the same DNS as the primary
step 7: now would be a good time for a connection test. tap "Test Connection" in the top right. there should be a successful connection. assuming there is a successful connection, congrats! save your settings and enter your game as normal. you'll need to go to the basement of any pokemon center and pick up your pal pad, then try entering the wi-fi club (middle NPC at the counter) to test it in-game and get your friend code.
if there isn't, try a few more times or get closer to your access point - sometimes it's not you, the service can just occasionally be spotty. if you keep getting errors, you can use this site to look up what the error code might mean. if you still can't solve the issue, you may have to try a different method of connection as listed above.
sorry i couldn't be more in depth but frankly i'm not an expert on this stuff either, i'm just doing my best. there are a couple other options for doing this, like taking the password off your modern home wi-fi, or bridging your connection to an old laptop/computer, but the first is particularly dangerous so i didn't want to include it in the list and the second is completely out of my league, i just know people have done it before
good luck feel free to ask questions but no promises i'll have answers. if you need troubleshooting help i'd recommend pkmnclassic's discord over me, they have channels for that stuff (yes i hate troubleshooting stuff moving to discord and not forums as much as the rest of you but it can't be helped lol)

WIP Wednesday
You know what, fuck it, it's still WIP Wednesday, I say <3 Have Armand being a technology serial killer!
---
Just then, the lights flicker and dim into darkness; Daniel’s laptop is the only source of light in the room, the screen frozen before the video call drops, replaced by a spinning circle that informs him his internet connection is gone.
His first thought is: well, that clip is gonna be viral tomorrow.
His second thought is: Armand.
“Baaaaabe?!” he hollers, getting up, and he’s trying to be cool about this, he really is, but this is twice in a row now.
Vampirism comes with a neat side dish of being able to see in the dark, so he easily navigates his way out of the parlour and makes for the cupboard under the stairs, where the fuse box and other delights are located.
Armand is already there, standing in the opened door and pondering the miserable little corpse of their WiFi router. They always return to the scene of the crime, don’t they.
“Okay,” Daniel says in what is definitely a calm and measured voice. “Not to point fingers here, but what wrong thing did you do?”
Armand prods the router clinically, like one of those early pathologists fiddling about with body-snatched cadavers in the name of science.
“It appears my blenders have caused an overload of our electrical system,” he says. “And that, in addition to the power outage it caused, our router has departed from this world despite the fuses acting as a safeguard.” He prods it again. “Fascinating.”
“Oh, if I hear the F-word one more time…” Daniel growls, then smacks his hand away. “No. Bad gremlin. I’ll handle the fuses — you go use your mobile data to find us a new router. And possibly someone to come in and fortify the whole system.”
“I’m sorry if I disrupted your interview,” Armand says, all meek and doe-eyed apex predator, and Daniel is not buying it for a second.
“Uh-huh. Go get that router.”
---
(From chapter 2 of "5 times Armand interrupts Daniel's online interview +1 time Daniel gets his revenge", which I WILL be posting this weekend, as planned <3
I hope I can make you smile at least a little bit today <3

Kissing the homies goodnight for Willie (/Willex) because I feel like Willie would.
Ack I'm so sorry this took so long but here you gooo!
Willie ducked into the kitchen to grab the water pitcher and some glasses, praying he wasn't forgetting anything important. They knew it was just their friends crashed across various surfaces in the living room, but it was still nerve-wracking. Willie hadn't been to a sleepover in like... five years, let alone hosted one. They got why the foster care system had to check over people before they could stay overnight, but with the number of times Willie had moved around since entering the system, it just... had never happened.
Caleb had been hesitant at first when Willie asked if they could all stay over, wanting to ensure Willie was settled himself first. And also wanting to meet all of these kids before he let them have free reign of his home.
But it was finally happening. All of Willie's best friends (and his boyfriend, but they hadn't really managed to wrap their head around that one yet) were lounging in his living room at 2 in the morning, some closer to dozing off than others.
Willie wasn't sure which was stronger: the excitement or the terror of messing this up.
He was pretty sure he hit all the main bits on all the 'how to throw a slumber party' lists he'd found online: pizza, way too many types of ice cream toppings (they're not entirely sure how many of those canned cherries Luke ended up fitting in his mouth), random games (he'd never heard of turning pictionary into a drinking game with shots of soda, but apparently that was a thing his friends did), and a movie with lots of popcorn and cozy blankets.
So they're pretty sure they've done alright thus far.
Still, it'd been a long time since Willie did this.
He re-entered the living room just as Alex managed to grab the TV remote and turn off the rolling credits of Legally Blonde. Flynn looked to already be asleep, lying across one of the air mattresses with her feet up on Julie's stomach. Julie had propped herself up a bit on her elbows and was debating...something with Reggie. Both of them looked closer to dozing off than winning though. Luke and Carrie were both sitting upright on one of the couches, madly swiping on their phones and hissing at each other.
"Do I even want to know?" Willie asked Alex quietly, setting the water and cups down on the coffee table and rejoining him on the loveseat.
Alex groaned. "I made the mistake of telling them there's a PvP mode on this tower defense game they both play."
Willie tried to hold back his giggle. He failed.
Alex attempted to glare at them, but mostly just looked sleepily confused. "I'm serious, we're gonna have to take their phones away now if we want them to sleep," he sighed.
Willie winced. "Any chance the game will kick them off after a few rounds?"
Alex shook his head, then leaned over to rest his head on Willie's shoulder. "And they're both too stubborn to give in, I already tried it."
Willie rested their cheek against his hair, letting their lungs adjust to expanding and contracting in time with the light huffs of Alex's breath against their collarbone. "Is it online?" he asked.
"Yeah, why?" Alex responded, blinking up at him sleepily in the dim light of the lamp.
Willie smirked and pulled out his phone. Okay, so Caleb hadn't technically given him the password for the router, but like... it hadn't been hard. He opened the app on his phone that connected to the electronic and started typing.
Twin cries of annoyance erupted from the pair on the other couch a moment later, informing Willie of his success.
"It just kicked me off!" Luke complained.
"Same here," Carrie griped. "Willie I think your wifi died."
Willie looked up, attempting to look innocent. "Oh yeah, I think you're right," they agreed. "Ugh, this happens sometimes, it will probably come back in an hour or two, but we just gotta wait it out."
Both Luke and Carrie groaned, but seemed to buy it and tossed their phones aside. Carrie peeled off her sweater and tossed it down next to Flynn's head, before pulling a blanket up and over herself and stretching out along the couch. Luke slid down onto the air mattress beside Reggie, koala cuddling against his back. Reggie laughed and shifted over so Luke could share his pillow, still discussing... Okay Willie was pretty sure they were trying to figure out who in their friend group would be whom in Legally Blonde. Fair enough.
Willie felt Alex's tiny sigh of relief against his neck and shivered. It felt nice, being close like this and knowing it made Alex just as fluttery as it did them.
Alex brought his fingers up to his chin, then let his hand move forward, palm up. Thank you.
Willie tucked his phone away. "Don't mention it," he whispered, daring to brush his lips against Alex's forehead.
Alex's cheeks turned pink, but Julie interrupted before Willie could tease him about it.
"Hey, no PDA unless you're willing to share with the class," she mumbled, eyes heavy.
"You're one to talk," Alex pointed out, glancing pointedly between her and Flynn's feet still resting on her abdomen.
"Oh you wanna wake her up?" Julie snarked back, the words slurring together a bit.
"I don't think any of us have that death wish," Willie chuckled. They tapped Alex lightly on the shoulder in warning, then stood up. "And I don't mind sharing." Before Julie could respond, he ducked down and pecked her on the forehead. "Sweet dreams, Juju," they added, throwing a spare blanket over her and heading back toward Alex.
"Hey, we're part of the class too," Reggie called out. When Willie turned, he was sticking his bottom lip out, the puppy eyes mostly hidden by his drooping eyelids.
Willie glanced back at Alex, a little startled, but Alex just shrugged and gave him a sleepy smile. So Willie picked his way around to Reggie and gave him a goodnight kiss too. And then Luke perked up a bit and wanted one. And Carrie said she should get one on Flynn's behalf, since her girlfriend was asleep.
"I guess I should have warned you how clingy we all get this late," Alex murmured when Willie finally made it back to his side. "I kinda forgot you haven't been able to be around this before. Just feels really natural."
"All good," Willie promised around a yawn. "Just tryin'a be a good host."
Alex leaned over and hit the button on the side of the love seat to make it lean back, the extending footrest turning it into more of a bed. "It's perfect," he stated, pulling Willie in to lay beside him.
Willie let out a happy sigh and cuddled in closer. Alex's cool arms soothed the nervous energy that was always humming along their skin. He felt Alex's lips brush against his hairline.
"G'night Lex," they mumbled, eyes slipping shut.
"Good night, Willie."

Plot twist: Back on my bullshit
So I found more drill powered tools, for decently cheap, this time for some rarer ones! A small 5 and some change inch blade circular saw, and a half sheet sander, both drill powered, both used by the guy in his condo so you know they work. The half sheet sander is decently uncommon but not quite rare, but having a circular saw with guard like this is *rare*. Almost all drill powered circ saws are a loose blade with adapter, no guard, and super unsafe, so this is a rare rare find! On Monday I should be picking up a extremely cheap drill-powered jigsaw, and a nice model at that, if all goes to plan. Going to bring my total of drill powered tools to:
Owned hand drill powered: Drill press (old, cast iron, hard/$ to ship, medium rare), lathe (new, rare), disk sander (new), half sheet sander (old, box, medium rare), circular saw (old, rare rare if with guard), paint mixer (new)
I want drill powered: Electric grinder/sharpener (chinese ones have no toolrest, but can get one there easy, also home depot), jigsaw (hopefully monday, medium rare), oscillating disk sander (never seen one online, may not exist), buffing wheel (either china or bulk set), better drill lathe (old preferably), router (never seen, may not exist), reciprocating saw (rare), original home utility line stand (likely as part of a bulk set buy)
But, as of right now/monday, I have a nearly complete set, even with some newer bits, or I could get one quick with a couple chinese buys :3 I already have some of the rare ones, so super pleased/excited with how this set's evolving :3

I'm a disabled queer author. My only sources of income are my benefits package once per month (usually about £1 which covers rent and local tax) and my partner, who is both employed full time and studying remotely at a performing arts school and working on set to try and bring more money in. Both of us also livestream and market online.
This month we've been shorter on money than usual and, because we'd missed the internet bill once before and never been able to pay it back, they've cut us off.
This, as you can imagine, will have catastrophic effects. Fortunately we have a friend who graciously let us borrow their 4G router until we get our internet back but it's only the bare minimum as the 4G signal in our home sits constantly at 1-2 bars. We will have to shut off everything just for my partner to make a business zoom call tonight. This isn't sustainable.
We've been relatively steady with our income, able to pay off the most important bills on time, but our excess income is extremely minimal so paying back debts is near impossible with the late fees they keep throwing at us. If we can pay this back we'll be safe from this particular danger for the forseeable future, but we can't do it alone.
If you can spare anything, please donate to my ko-fi. The amount on there is a little more than the debt you see to account for things like my paypal overdraft and food we might need to buy over the next few of days (yeah that's how tight we are rn) but you'll be saving our asses.
I don't have much to offer, but anyone who donates even once gets access to all the snippets and sneak peeks of writing I've posted there. Thank you.

*crawls up from the depths of the earth*
So. 25 days away. That’s definitely by far the longest I’ve spent outside of this hellhole.
Damn, did I miss it.
Anyway! I’m finally able to stay that my apartment is 100% set and my new life in Tokyo has stabilized! Which means I’m at long last ready to come back here.
Y’all won’t believe how much has happened in this meantime, but perhaps I can give a brief summary:
First of all, moving out of Osaka was almost an odyssey. In order to rent a place here in Japan as a student, you need to prove your student status by submitting either your student ID or entrance exam approval certificate. In my case, the entrance exam results came out in the beginning of March, which gave me next to no time to find an apartment. Luckily, I managed to secure myself a place within two weeks, but there was a problem: I had to leave the school dorm that I was living in on the 26th of March, no delays allowed, yet my contract with the new apartment in Tokyo would only begin on April 1st. I also had to be in Tokyo on March 30th and April 1st for guidance and admission procedures. No, these could not be done online (Japan do be like that).
So my solution was: I would go to Tokyo on the 30th and stay at a hotel for three days until I could move into my new apartment. In that meantime, I would get myself a bed so that I at least had a place to sleep until I could settle my stuff into the new home. And from the 26th to the 30th, I stayed at a friend's place. Except my friend's apartment was too tiny to accomodate my luggage, so I packed everything into boxes and asked another friend to keep it for me. During these three days, I stappled my name and address onto the suitcases and boxes and mailed them one by one to Tokyo via convenience store delivery service.
From April 1st onward, all of my time was dedicated into learning how my university works and what the grad school program is like, while simultaneously getting my new home ready. Which meant unpacking all my luggage and boxes and putting everything in place, assembling the new bed, purchasing home appliances and setting them up, getting a Wi-Fi router, cleaning up the room and getting rid of bugs/mold, buying material for the new school year, grocery shopping for a basic pantry, etc. Meanwhile, I also had to do all the fun paperwork thing that Japanese institutions love. Had to go to the city hall, both in Osaka before moving and in Tokyo after moving, in order to get my new address on my residence card and a new health care insurance. And of course, the university also requires paperwork, as in course registration, notification of Master's thesis title and submitting a copy of my certificate of residence to prove that I now live in Tokyo. All of this took about ten days. And then classes started.
It's been a week since the beginning of the semester. I can say that I'm now fully acclimated to the university, the classes and the teachers. Finally, I can rest. And by rest I mean logging into this pit of insanity and willingly losing whatever braincells I have left.
Starting by answering the asks that I've left unanswered all this time. I'm very sorry for the delay and thanks for bearing with me!

Well I'm back... I took an unexpected four day Internet break because my router broke down. At least that's what I think happened.
At first I thought I'd used too much wifi (I had a cheap-o plan that always got throttled after watching like one long video on Youtube lol), but the speed was way, waaaaaay slower than any limit I've been hit with in the past. I couldn't load any website without hitting refresh about a hundred times and then it would load in pieces, and if it had video or images (like youtube or tumblr) it was 100% a no go. Couldn't even log into email. If I finally reached the login page, the signal would be lost while sending through my credentials, and then it'd be an hour before the page would load for me to try again... Absolutely nightmarish
Anyway, it couldn't have been the throttling. Then I thought maybe it was some kind of maintenance in my area?? Because I'm never had a problem here before in six years. Or someone who moved in was a real wifi hog...? But even that seemed impossible. Again, never experienced anything like it...
But it just seemed so weird that it could be hardware issue! Because I took my router (which was a portable kind) to work with me twice, and it worked just fine out that way. Only in my apartment it refused to move faster than a snail. I really thought it had to be a signal issue.
Conveniently, I also don't have a working phone right now. I was planning to use the internet to buy a new one on an installment plan... and then lost internet bahahah. So I couldn't call my ISP about the problem either.
So today, day five of no internet, I took the router to a store that sells the same plan, and they had no idea either (even after calling the ISP themselves), but thought it must be the hardware. And although I was a little skeptical, they did confirm that the signal should be fine in my area, and they also told me about new plans that cost the same as my old one but are waaay better. No throttling!!! Of course I was sold on that haha. I love the idea of actually being able to use the internet in the evenings during "peak" hours (still can't quite believe it... this is my first week to test it so fingers crossed!). So even if they'd been able to fix my old router, I guess I'd have bought this new one anyway.
It took three hours to get it though. Partly because I'm a foreigner and the order of my name and my middle name scared them haha. But they were super nice and helpful to me the whole time and took care of everything. I came home, plugged everything in, and voila, perfect internet. I got a non-portable unit this time because it's got a lot more power. I had the portable one originally because my job involved a lot of traveling, but I left that job years ago and just kept the portable router because it still worked, and my habit is to keep things until they literally fall apart on me xP I'm very much hoping to be amazed by what the non-portable one can do...
Dunno how I'm gonna make it through the backlog on my dash but I'm so happy to be online again~

The History Of Walmart Marketplace
Considering the eventuality of online businesses, Walmart launchedwalmart.com in the year 2000. The website was designed to offer a
flawless and harmonious client experience – be it store or online.
In 2007, it launched its Store Service, where it innovated the concept of multichannel shopping by allowing guests to pick their online orders in stores.
During 2009, Walmart stepped into the online world and created the so- called Walmart Marketplace. The idea was to invite different third- party merchandisers
and help them find their products atWalmart.com.
Ultimately, this conception opened a whole new avenue and brought in colorful retailers countrywide, growing their openings to a more significant position.
At the moment, it boasts more than 300- 400 retailers, including some big titans like eBags, ProTeam, and Wayfair. The products of third- party merchandisers are vended
together with the name “ Walmart Marketplace ” on the Walmart force( online). This is substantially to distinguish them from the usual particulars.
The particulars that are vended from a third party aren't traded or vended in stores.
In August 2016, WalmartInc. acquired thee-commerce businessJet.comInc. for 3 billion USD. This makes it a big deal for merchandisers because their
products can be stressed onWalmart.com elevations. Also, its massive consumer followership is another advantage.
Should Walmart Be A Part Of Your Multi-Channel Strategy?
Since Walmart is decreasingly inclining its growth every time, it's great news for all business merchandisers out there. After all, the idea is to invite implicit
shoppers and offer competitive advantages to merchandisers.
Doug McMillon, Walmart CEO, has stated that their 2- day free shipping concept has formerly given “ an amazing supplement ” in terms of deals. So, this makes
It is a great time to talk about multichannel selling. Still, this might not be as easy as it sounds.
The further channels and SKUs you manage, the more advanced are the possibilities to lose track of your force and orders. still, you could go with intelligent robotization
tools to help you with that.
What is Walmart Marketplace?
Walmart Marketplace is an online platform, like Amazon and eBay, where small businesses can list their products for trade online, alongside Walmart’s own products.
Walmart has long distinguished itself for its low prices, so this business is a good fit for merchandisers that offer great products at affordable rates.
You can use Walmart’s Sponsored Hunt advertisements to promote your products to Walmart’s callers and use their fulfillment services, if asked ,
to handle the logistics of managing force and shipping out orders.
How much is your Walmart Marketplace seller account worth?
We reached out to the investor that purchases these accounts and asked them about the process. The accounts are valued grounded on age,
deals history and number of dealer reviews. Newer accounts that have little to no deals history or dealer reviews are generally worth a many hundred bones and
aged accounts with good deals history and a considerable quantum of dealer reviews can be worth many thousand bones .
Is it safe to sell my Walmart Marketplace seller account?
According to the investor, it's 100% safe and secure to sell your account. After they confirm that your dealer account is licit and in good standing,
payment is transferred to the dealer. also they give you with new company and fiscal information for you to remove yours and replace with the new word so that
none of your sensitive information remains. Once you have completed the process, you give access to the account, icing that your sensitive information is norway
seen or remains after the transfer.
How do you get an offer to find out how much your account is worth?
We ’ve included a link below to an online form where you'll enter some information about your account. It generally takes about 5 twinkles to complete and
after you submit your word, you're transferred an offer for your account within 1 business day. However, the payment and transfer process generally takes about
1- 3 business days to complete, If you choose to accept the offer.
How to Set up a Seller Account on Walmart Marketplace
Walmart is one of the largest retailers in the world. Walmart is gaining its position as a US eCommerce point via retail, websites, and mobile apps.
As Walmart continues to make out its business capabilities, the number of approved merchandisers has been climbing at an adding pace. This business has been
historically conservative about who they allow dealing on their platform. Their delicate operation process and strict conditions have been a roadblock for
numerous-commerce merchandisers. In this moment's blog, we will show you how to set up a dealer account on Walmart.
New seller incentives
Because Walmart Marketplace is presently in a growth phase, it’s a boon for merchandisers at the moment. Walmart has offered a range of promos for brands
willing to subscribe up. While these can shift over time, one of the most recent promos Walmart offered was a 25 reduction in commission rates for the first
90 days of selling.
Economies of scale
For merchandisers who are formerly using business tools like warehousing and fulfillment coffers, integrating into the Walmart ecosystem can be fast and easy.
While costs might rise due to increased use, you ’re effectively spreading your investment across further than one occasion. This drives raised profit without a
commensurable increase in spending.
Omni-channel opportunities
By adding Walmart Marketplace to the blend of being platforms you use, you ’ll have the occasion to take an omni- channel approach by spreading your products and
services across Walmart’s online and physical stores. With different requests and deals strategies, the Walmart Marketplace gives you another followership to engage with.
Expert tips for selling on Walmart Marketplace
numerous brands have their reasons for using this platform and can establish themselves on Walmart’s business, but not all guests will be made equal.
Some merchandisers will perform better than others, so, if you want to be the stylish of the stylish and come a name shoppers come to know and trust, keep these expert
tips in mind.
Win the Buy Box
Buy Box products are the first and largest result on hunt runners; all other products are listed below. The Walmart algorithm uses a many crucial criteria
to weigh who'll win the most affordable pricing, including shipping costs, force situations, and accurate information about product quality.
Still, your products are in stock, and your rosters are accurate, If your pricing is competitive.
Have competitive pricing
As compelling as it might be to keep your prices high for maximum profit, this is n’t a stylish marketing strategy. rather, you need to keep pricing in line
with client prospects. This frequently means changing the right balance between remaining competitive while still doing as much as possible to turn a profit.
Managing this successfully may bear price testing, in which pricing is acclimated and estimated against deals. This, alongside force vacuity and contender geste ,
can help you come to a price that will win the Buy Box.
Understand your audience
Some brands assume the buyers on Walmart will be the same as those on platforms like Amazon and Target, but this is n’t inescapably the case.
The demographics can be different, particularly concerning youngish shoppers who might protect in person at Walmart, buy online at Amazon.
By understanding who's shopping on Walmart’s website for products like yours, you can tweak product descriptions, optimize keyword use,
and place flings strategically to capture the most effective guests for your brand.
Use automation
Doing everything yourself, from curating product information to client exploration to assaying the competition, is theoretically possible,
but can eat up a significant quantum of time with minimum substantiation that you ’re getting anywhere. Through the use of Walmart advertising software,
you can let robotization take over the hard corridor. Streamline workflows, access thorough yet stoner-friendly analytics,
and produce juggernauts that target all areas of the deals channel.
robotization can also help with placing flings on keywords for PPC announcement juggernauts. Platforms like ours influence your objects,
to run tests by changing flings, and establishing optimal settings. robotization on larger product registers can be a good way to get ahead without a
significant time investment.
Keyword harvesting
It’s hard to succeed in PPC advertising if you ’re not using the right keyword approach. Rather than trying to keep up with clicks, transformations,
and prints for everything you have listed for trade, automating this process can help you gather the stylish possible keywords for your products.
With the right AI- guided tools, you can manage your juggernauts while letting advertising software shoulder the burden of bidding and data analysis.
In summary
Dealing on Walmart Marketplace can feel dispiriting at first, after all, adding another eCommerce platform to the blend requires considerable time investment,
but getting started, particularly if you formerly have a presence on spots like Amazon, can be easier than you suppose.
And, if you ’re formerly using or are considering employing an eCommerce tool designed to automate and streamline pricing, keyword use, bidding, and followership analysis,
creating a robust and profitable storefront can be a great occasion to turn a profit. Contact Trellis moment to see what our moxie and AI results can do to
move your business forward.
How much does it cost to sell on Walmart Marketplace?
There are no outspoken costs involved with dealing via the Walmart business. Unlike platforms that charge class or subscription freights, getting started is free.
Rather, Walmart charges commissions on deals grounded on order, ranging from around 6 to 20. There also may be new stoner promos that can reduce the overall cost for
the first many months.
How long does it take to start selling on Walmart?
Assuming all account details are handled duly and there’s no need for fresh information, it can take between two to four weeks for Walmart’s
internal platoon to review and authorize your account. To minimize detainments, respond to any queries the Walmart platoon has as snappily as possible to insure
a prompt launch to selling.
Can individuals sell on Walmart Marketplace?
Yes, individualities can be sold on Walmart Marketplace. Still, a social security number is not permitted as a way to produce and corroborate an account. therefore,
If an individual dealer wants to begin listing products, they ’ll need to produce some kind of business that uses a drum. An LLC is a simple way for single merchandisers
to produce a company- such as structure.
Note that Walmart generally should not be the first platform druggies vend on, due to their sign up conditions of having attestation of former success in the eCommercespace.
However, Walmart is doubtful to accept your operation, If you do n’t have experience in other commerce. still, this is good news for merchandisers who get approved
as it creates a more secure space for buyers, weeds out echo brands cutting into your request share, and weeds out some of the noise druggies face on commerce. SMMeSHOPS.COM

TOOLS FOR PERSONS WORKING ONLINE
Many persons with online jobs often have this desire to work outside. Working in nature can be reviving and a pleasant change from your work space. Sometimes the weather is nice and sunny and our backyard patio becomes that perfect place to work. However, working outside does have its fair share of challenges and this article will provide you with tips to make the process easier.
Wi-Fi Extender and Hotspot
A poor Internet connection will end your outdoor work session quickly. If you’re at home, a Wi-Fi extender may help you out if your router and modem are further away in the house. The extender will create a stronger signal and can even increase your speeds.
Should you choose to work outdoors at a coffee shop or public area, it’s smart to have a hotspot available. Actually, you may never know when the Internet might go down at your location, or you could even be surprised and find there’s no Wi-Fi connection available for use. Having access to a hotspot will ensure you’re able to be connected no matter what situation may arise.
Having a smartphone or a tablet, either of these can be tethered to your computer to provide an Internet connection. Please be aware, as these options will typically slice into your phone’s data plan plus reducing the battery life of your phone. It is important to remember that you also find mobile hotspots that are separate devices and often prepaid.
Anti-Glare Screen and Cooling Devices
Workers often find that the first problem they might have when working outside is a nasty glare on the computer screen. It often makes it difficult to see what you’re doing and cause you to squint. A shaded area is not enough to rectify this problem. Turning the screen brightness up as far as it will go will reduce the problem. It is important that you work from a cool shaded area. If shade isn’t plentiful where you’ll be working, consider wearing lighter clothing, bringing a portable mini fan, or using a cooling towel.
Extra Power Supply
A computer battery going dead is trouble. Should you head outside with a full battery, take along a power cord just in case. A portable charger is also an option, in case there are no outlets close by that can be used. Portable chargers must be charged beforehand and they can then be used to charge your computer when needed. Computer batteries don’t last all day, but depending on its condition, it may last up to two hours.
External Devices
Online jobs are challenging and persons working remotely often face issues during the scope of work. Some items are a must if you plan to work productively outdoors. Purchase a wireless keyboard and mouse, and consider a laptop stand to raise it up to eye level. These items can work wonder if you have to work outside. Please note that having a pair of headphones or earbuds will assist if you have to have to take a call or listen to music while engaging in your online work activities.
Working from a remote office can have its own set of challenges but working through the areas mentioned above will make the process easier. Carefully review these tips to take your work outside and stay industrious and driven no matter the challenges that may come up.

this is one of those posts i am going to make that will absolutely go over most people's heads on this website but i recently learned about a networking thing and i feel for the sake of online privacy i need to post
How does the internet work?
every website is just a computer somewhere else. VERY broadly and basically, every computer has a phone number (this is called an IP Address.)
when you want to go to a website, (like tumblr dot com), your computer makes a phone call to tumblr dot com, who then picks up the phone, and connects you to tumblr dot com, which you can then use
now, computers use numbers in IP addresses. for example, tumblr's IP address is 192.0.77.40. this is the address the computer uses to make a call to tumblr. but as i'm sure you know, we don't type that IP address into the address bar to go to tumblr. this is where the DNS server comes in
What's a DNS server?
you can think of a DNS server like an old timey telephone switch board. back in the day to make a phone call, you called an Operator ((a human woman, most often)) who would complete the phone call for you by connection your phone line, to phone line of the person you were calling.
a DNS server does the same thing. when you want to go to tumblr dot com, your computer connects to your Internet Service Provider (ISP), who contacts the DNS Server. The ISP says '(your IP address) wants to connect to tumblr dot com please'. and the DNS server says 'tumblr dot com? one moment' and it has a list of websites, with their IP addresses, and it then connects you to tumblr dot com
this is all well and good, and how the internet works
So what's the problem?
most (probably all, but) most ISPs, unless you tell them not to, use their OWN DNS server to complete the connection. ISPs will then use this as a means to scrape more data from you. which is bad we never want to give our data to ISPs
this can be remedied by using a custom DNS server run by a third party. you can then use their server instead of the one from your ISP. now your ISP would have to work a lot harder to figure out you went to tumblr dot com than if you walked up to them and asked to borrow their phonebook, basically
this will require you to know how to change your network settings. it is slightly different depending on your home network setup. this is a setting you can change in your router.
Some of you may have one box in your basement that your ISP installed that does everything related to the internet.
Some of you may have went to like Best Buy or Target and gotten a combination router/wi-fi access point.
i don't think anyone who has a stand alone Router would need me to tell them that that is where they would access this setting but, that is where you would do that.
somewhere in the settings is going to be an option to change your DNS settings. and a menu will pop up. usually you can set up to 4 or more of these.
1.1.1.1 is one of the most widely used ones from a company called Cloudflare.
9.9.9.9 is another popular one from Quad9
both companies tout privacy and security as one of their tenants. (as in they will not sell your data of the websites you visit to data brokers or advertisers)
add those to your custom DNS list and restart your router, and you should be good to go!
to note there are loads of custom DNS servers out there that can help you do different things. for example, another from cloudflare is 1.1.1.3 which sets it up so that you can't access adult websites from your network. (could be useful for parents or small businesses without big IT departments, for instance.)
YOU SHOULD, WHENEVER POSSIBLE, utilize a custom DNS server in conjunction with a VPN provider like ExpressVPN or similar, to increase the amount of layers of abstraction between you and your ISP
anyways thank you for your time please be safe online

I've always thought of myself as the kind of guy who'd do well living the van life. We had RVs growing up and we'd take them out 3x a year and it was fun, albeit a little cramped, but I think that wouldn't deter a semi-permanent living space for 1-2 people plus maybe a dog or two. The idea of freedom yet familiarity is just sooooo appealing... Tired of this spot? just go somewhere else, but your living arrangement stays the same! You can cook inside and outside! Get solar panels to keep your battery charged! Go electric and save even more money on gasoline, and get a hydrogen fuel cell and reduce your emissions even further! Get some sort of mobile router for Wifi and do some online work or something and you'll still be connected to all your friends and still be able to make some income to buy food and other necessities! I know that it's more work than I probably think it is but honestly the more I think about it the more I want it...
The only major drawback is my crippling driving phobia.

A little snippet from ttwc to feed y'all maybe. I'm getting close to ten chapters and it's the longest i've written without posting it I'm vv excited tbh I believe in 'Shen Yuan would want to be a teacher if he re-transmigrated' supremecy <333 -ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈
“Er-ge?” He spoke after a pro-longed silence. They had stopped at a red-light and Shen Yuan watched as the cars in front sped along the road, vision blurring with the movement. “Yeah?” He hadn’t taken his eyes of the road, but Shen Yuan could see how his grip had tightened when he spoke.
He stayed quiet for a few seconds, trying to find the words, “Do you think they’d let me live in the country? Mother and father, I mean?”
“Why?” Shen Fang asked immediately, fingers beginning to tap on the wheel again.
“I just… was wondering, that’s all.” He mumbled out, “Might be a good idea, y’know?”
“…You think?”
Shen Yuan hummed noncommittally. Honestly, he didn’t think it would do much, but he couldn’t stay in the city. It felt too… strange. After living in the cultivation-rich, always summer-no-rain Xianxia world of PIDW, the loud, noisy city didn’t seem all that appealing. How he managed to live before this was honestly a wonder he managed to live in this hellscape for as long as he did (aka: his entire life). At least in the country, he could pretend he hadn’t been ripped away from his new life.
Hell, maybe he could start a farm just to keep himself busy.
Shen Fang sighed, relaxing his shoulders, “I’ll talk to father. We could probably move you out to one of our country homes or something. Are you sure, though? There won’t be good connection, unless you buy a router or something.”
It’s not like I have anyone to talk to you besides you and mei-mei… Shen Yuan thought but nodded his head, “I’ll get a router probably. Fresh air might be good for me.”
His brother didn’t reply but Shen Yuan could see how his hands tightened around the steering wheel. It didn’t take long to get home, but in all honestly Shen Yuan wasn’t paying attention. His mind kept drifting back to Cang Qiong, to the bamboo forest, to the faces of his disciples and the other peak lords, to teaching and fighting and cultivation and—
“Do you think it’s too late to go back to university?” He spoke without thinking.
Shen Fang paused from where he was reversing into the complex’s car park. It was to be expected; Shen Yuan hadn’t gotten very far into university, dropping out after the first semester. Part of it had been due to his hospital visits – it was hard to attend classes when he wasn’t even on campus – but after the nth time going back home, he just… didn’t go back. He officially dropped out when the semester ended, but he hadn’t been on campus for weeks before that. It wasn’t like it meant much at the time. Being a second-gen rich boy meant he never had to amount to much. But that was before, and now…
He really missed teaching.
“Probably not,” His brother said carefully. He finished reversing, but neither of them made a move to get out, “We could find some online programs to accommodate for any issues with classes. Why?”
“Just something to keep myself busy.” He said quietly. He knew his er-ge didn’t entirely believe him but said nothing.

I'm that last person! But they'll probably someday find me deep in the forest in a clay mask and a robe. I'm living in a small house-like watermill thing that works well enough for me to live in. It has some form of plumbing but it's kinda leaky as I am not to good at plumbing, but I do try to patch it up. The water is pumped in from the nearby river and has to be boiled before I can use it. The power is very clearly gotten from a waterwheel that is on the side of my house. I have a generator that turns that rotation into power which I learned to make from my brother.
Also, on the inside is a brick oven which I use to bake things with as I need to be careful with my power usage. Near to that is my counter space and sink which my counter is made of granite, due to it being the easiest stone to access. My sink was bought from Home Depot which I had to walk many miles to get to. Not that there wasn't a closer hardware store, my heart just belongs to Home Depot. In the corner there is a fridge hooked up to a battery that I recharge every weekend. Often I turn off my lights in hopes it'll charge faster. Anyway, I also have much storage around the kitchen which I use to store my clay bowls, chopsticks, spoons and whatever spices and food I'm able to get. Moving onto the main room where I sleep and live in. There is a bed on the floor with blankets and pillows I took with me. I sleep on the floor as making a bed frame is more work than needed. Near to that is an outlet which I plug my laptop charger into. On the other-side of the room is my internet router which I use funds made online to pay for. I do have an AC but I have to turn it off anytime I'm charging my laptop or fridge. I almost forgot the bathroom which has tub in it that I use for baths and there is another sink in there. I do make the soap myself but I do buy the shampoo as I have no idea how you make that stuff. The shampoo bottles sit in a big box as I buy a lot at once. There is a smaller room inside the bathroom which holds a seat with a bucket under it. Once it's halfway full I then treat it using this powder I bought from some store and then put a lid on the bucket and leave it out to decay. I empty it once the other bucket is halfway full. I have a compost area where I dump my organic matter. It's how I grow flax, wheat, black berries and my other plants so well. Outside my house is an area for growing my crops and flowers. Also, a pen where I keep my ducks though I only eat their eggs. I set traps and hunt for my meat, often eating mostly rabbit and deer. Black berries were here before I was and so I often make black berry pies during April. I had to buy most my other plants. I often have enough veggies leftover to even make dye from them which I use on my masks of clay and robes of flax. So, I dress in quite a colorful manner. I've been the subject of a few reports but those reports have so far been ignored. I don't really talk about this much online as it's kinda a touchy subject for me. But I guess it's not really my fault I'm out here... My friends do at least make it better for me and I think in a little bit I might be moving in with one of them. So I'll be able to finally leave this part of my life behind. I am always so thankful for my friends!
