Beautiful- Tate Langdon Imagine

so this is my first imagine ever posted, so go easy on me haha. (Pre death tate by the way)

I had noticed Tate was being more cold, almost distant towards me. Numerous times I tried asking him what was wrong, he would always play it off like it was nothing. I knew it wasnt nothing, Tate had a tendency to hide his feelings from me, and he would only tell me what was going on if he was desperate.

We had planned to meet up at his house one day after school, I walked, well more like ran to his house. I knocked quickly on the door and I heard shuffling and a series of groans, probably because Tate was a clutz and knocked over the coat rack that was by the door. I hoped I would be able to talk to him, maybe when we were cuddling I would ask. He opened the door and smiled when he saw me.

“Hey handsome.” I flirted, shifting myself inside. He looked down at the ground, a deep blush prominent on his pale cheeks. He was always easy to blush, which I used to my advantage. “Hey, y/n.”

“So-um whatcha wanna do?” He shoved his hands in his pockets, clearly nervous around me. I eased the tension by pulling him into a hug.

“Woah-“ “I missed you.” I trailed my hands up and down his striped sweater. He tensed but eventually gave in. I glanced up at him, sweet boy, his neck was bright red.

“How about we cuddle in you room, babe?” I pulled away, searching his face. He once again gazed down at the floor, not meeting my eyes. He mumbled out a ‘sure’ so we headed upstairs to his room.

Tate hastily took off his shoes and cuddled in under his sheets, giving me an expectant look. A look saying he wanted his cuddles. I grinned, but couldn’t help but notice his room had changed a little. The pictures of him and his family were turned face down and his small desk side mirror was not in sight, mostly likely hidden away in his drawers.

I frowned at the thought. Did Tate not like how he looked? He was an adorable boy, his floppy golden hair and dimples, that never ceased to make my heart skip a beat. Hopefully that wouldn’t be what was troubling him, but of course I still wasn’t sure.

I pushed the thoughts away, hoping I would be able to talk to him. I hopped under the covers with him, we usually laid face to face, so we had access to give eachother kisses. He shifted away from me, his back turned. I furrowed my brows but spooned him tightly anyway. I laid a soft kiss on his cheek while resting my hand on his blue jean covered thigh. After a few moments of silence between us, I decided to speak up.

“Tate, baby?” His head moved slightly to the side, so he could look at me. He nodded, pushing me to go on.

“Is everything okay? I mean you turned your pictures down, your mirror is gone, you didn’t want to face me while laying down, is something wrong?” I gave his thigh a tiny squeeze and kissed his shoulder.

He turned in bed to face me again, and sighed. “I just, you know I don’t like to talk about things, y/n.” I nodded and nuzzled closer to him, possibly giving him more comfort to go on.

“But um- well it’s just lately, I haven’t, well. I havent been liking the way I look.” I frowned at his words, my assumption being true, my eyes met his soft ones. “I’m ugly.”

Those words cut me like a knife. I wished he had told me sooner.

He glanced up at me for a split second, awaiting an answer. His hands, instead of holding mine, fiddled with the loose strings on his sweater.

“Tate, baby I don’t think you are ugly. You are so cute, and sweet, and beautiful.” I kissed him on his plump, pink lips. He didn’t seem very convinced.

“Beautiful? I think you’ve got it wrong.”

“Nope, you are beautiful, and so very handsome, and just so goddamn attractive.” He giggled a little, blushing again. I grinned at him, then quickly rolled over on top of him. He looked suprised but his hands found their way to my waist.

“Do you believe me?”

He looked up at the ceiling and shook his head, taking a deep breath in.

“Not really.”

“Well I guess I’ll have to tell you everyday how beautiful you are.” I admitted with a fake sigh. He giggled trying to shove me off of him, but I laid down on top of him, letting my head be cradled in his neck. I let my lips place a gentle kiss on the soft skin. His big arms wrapped around my torso, snuggling me even closer, if that was even possible.

“You really think I’m beautiful?”

“Yes, I think you are very, very beautiful.”

A very sexy tarte aux pommes ! Easy to make if you don’t have to take photo every minute of course ! 🤦🏽‍♂️🙅‍♂️ Pastry in the tray then make whole with your folk. 2 apples will be peeled and chopped up then cook for 15 minutes with 2 spoon of sugar in the oven then mix in a blender. This will create your apple purée ! This mixture is going first into the pastry. Then you will need to blend 2 eggs 75gr of sugar and some vanilla flavour. Add this mixture to your tarte au pommes and cover the apple purée Finally peel and slice your last 4 apples and places them the way you like to create something cute! You can add sugar and cinnamon in the top for extra flavour and some icing sugar for the deco.
