This is a silly little fic that sparked from a conversation I had with @hanafubukki, and so I wrote it! What started as a discussion about Lilia eating teabags quickly shifted into the very sweet idea of a young Silver bringing his papa some tea leaves.
I hope you enjoy!
Lilia smiles as he hears the front door open, the sound of the creaking hinges reaching his ears. “You’re finally back, Silver,” he greets, turning from where he’s been preparing something at the kitchen counter — mixing plenty of flour and berries and a little bit of sauce together for quite the splendid treat! — to face the door.
He watches as Silver, nearly five years old and dressed in a shirt and some patchwork overalls, stumbles through, a small little pouch clutched in his hands. Tilting his head, Lilia asks, “What have you there, hm?”
Silver doesn’t speak, not until he totters over to the little kitchen area where Lilia crouches in. It’s only then that he raises the pouch, a resolute expression on his face — and how amusing it is, Lilia snickers silently to himself, to see such seriousness on that chubby-cheeked face! “This is… for Toto,” Silver insists, pushing the pouch into Lilia’s hands.
Lilia blinks. “Well now,” he says, reaching out to ruffle Silver’s hair, his other hand holding the mystery pouch. “What a kind boy you are, thinking about me while you’re out in the woods!” And this isn’t abnormal by any means, because Silver always comes home with a gift for him, be it berries — poisonous and otherwise; the poor child doesn’t know any better just yet — or a wilting bouquet of wildflowers, but Lilia relishes in it anyways. Affirmative remarks are helpful for raising a boy as young as Silver — or so he’s been told by the Zigvolts.
Silver giggles as Lilia runs a hand through his hair, mussing up those light strands. “Open it, open it!”
So Lilia does, pulling on the string and loosening the pouch. And as soon as he does, he finds…
A handful of shredded leaves, some wet moss, a couple of berries — the non-poisonous ones, and Lilia sighs with relief at the knowledge that Silver has caught on — and, to top it all off, a pinecone.
Lilia blinks. “This is lovely, Silver,” he says, and he’s not lying, because anything this sweet human boy he’s growing fonder of, day after day, brings to him sparks a bit of warmth in his heart. “But… what is it?”
And imagine Lilia’s surprise when Silver grins at him brightly, and says, “Tea!”
It clicks for him after a moment’s pause, mind caught on that one word before everything falls into place. Oh, Lilia realises, eyeing the pouch, at the way the leaves have been shredded, the small size of the pinecone, everything clumped together. It looks much like the contents of the little canister of tea leaves he has, a gift from Baul’s daughter along with a teasing note about drinking it if he finds it a bit hard to sleep.
Silver has brought him tea leaves. Silver had watched him scoop them out and steep them in water, perched on tiptoes on a stool pushed up against the counter as Lilia prepared breakfast, and thought to himself that he would go out in the woods and get Lilia some tea.
Warmth swells forth within his heart in one big burst, engulfing his chest until it reaches his cheeks.
Whisking the pouch to the counter with his magic, Lilia sweeps up Silver in his arms, spinning around as the boy yelps before he giggles. “How darling of you,” Lilia coos, happiness thrumming through him. “To think of me, and to bring me such a sweet gift!”
“I hope you like it, Toto!”
“Well let’s find out, shall we?”
And though Lilia enjoys the cup of tea he brews very much, relishing in it as Silver watches, the young boy still too sensitive to enjoy a scalding drink that’s too hot for his tongue, he realises, halfway through, that there’s definitely something poisonous in this.
Oh well, he thinks, as he feels his throat beginning to itch relentlessly from the inside-out, his eyes beginning to swell slightly. That’s another thing to teach Silver in the future, I suppose.
Perhaps he’ll avoid eating the leftover tea leaves for once. He’ll have to scrape them into the bin. What a waste, Lilia sighs to himself, though there’s no real disappointment in any of it. How could there be, when he’s basking in the thoughtfulness of Silver’s actions?

Hey destiel and cockles newbies/relapsed addicts! We’re glad you’re here. But we have a problem – no worries, there’s an easy solution.
You may have noticed when you post ai images, people don’t always respond well to it. Let me explain why. And let me help you find different ways to engage with fandom/find community!
Why we don’t want to see ai “art”:
AI steals from real artists
it’s discouraging for artists who actually put the work and heart into their creations
If you want to have a better understanding of why it's unethical, here's a good video to watch
Why we don’t want to see ai-altered images/art of cockles, even if most of the picture is real:
See the reasons mentioned above
It eventually creates this weird dystopian situation where you google their names and there’s fake pictures among the real ones and it becomes harder to tell which ones are real
What IS okay:
Manips you created yourself without help of ai – as long as you state it’s a manip. Preferably also a link to the og pic(s) you used. This is a great way to get creative with real pictures and still make something new out of it.
Now, let me preface this next part by saying no one is obligated to engage with fandom in any way. Lurking is okay, though we always love when people reblog our posts/creations.
How to find community if you want to contribute something yourself but you’re still too intimidated to do it in any of the “conventional” ways:
Talk in the tags! People love to read those and like/reply to them. It’s a very accessible and low pressure way to feel part of a community
Make commentary posts about a fandom/destiel/cockles event or scene that happened a long time ago. They can be as short or as long as you like. We never got over it, so might as well make another post about it!
Edit pictures in a way you like, make posters out of them, make your blorbos/actor men look silly. It can be very low effort and still make people feel something
Web weaving! if you're not familiar with this concept, here's a post that explains it well
You can of course always dabble in making art, amvs, gifs, graphics, original music,... You don’t need to be good, let alone amazing at it from the start, or ever! There’s a learning curve for everyone and creators are improving their skills all the time. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or resources! The main goal is that you have fun
Let's make this a welcoming and supportive community. There's no place for AI in that.

Hi! not sure if u write for content that isn't a character x reader, if not, feel free to ignore this req!
but I'd like to req some timeskip hcs for the twst charas.. like what would they be after graduation? I could totally see Riddle being a lawyer but I'm not entirely sure for the rest of the twst cast 🤔
Thank you in advance! Take all the time u need !
ohhh actually speculation/analysis is something I write a lot of! I hail from a very literary fandom and these sorts of prompts are some of my favorites to do!
I could def give my thoughts, just based on what we already know + my own headcanons
➼Deuce: Deuce, to me, is a hands-on learner type. I could see him getting really into mechanics, but... my heart says house husband. tells his kids bedtime stories about Cauldron Deuce (with... um, better morals, we'll say)
➼Ace: professional moocher hmmm Ace is kind of a wild card (pun) to me. I can see his life going in a lot of different directions depending on how the story goes
➼Riddle: definitely something prestigious. we know his parents are doctors, it's likely he'd feel pressured to follow in their footsteps, with other high-paying professions close behind (such as lawyer)
➼Cater: trophy husband(/influencer)
➼Trey: takes on the family bakery. I can see him getting settled down relatively fast compared to everyone else. he just needs a spouse whose as weird as he is
➼Leona: professional moocher (for real this time). In an ideal world he would get fed up with his family and move out, either to another palace they own (you know how it is with royalty and their real estate) or to his own place. but that freedom might get him to really apply himself to something he cares about, independent of his family. would get married if the opportunity presented itself, would NOT have kids
➼Ruggie: Leona's little buddy. Leona assured him a job after school, sooo probably not much different from what he's doing already, but paid. sends fat checks home to his grandma every month
➼Jack: whatever it is, he's committed to it. I can't see him working a dead-end job with no hopes of improving himself, so nothing too academic. the obvious answer is athletics... but he could just as likely become a sculptor. just something that he can apply himself to and continue improving in
➼Azul: businessman. he just has a thing for it. he's running multiple restaurant chains and dabbling in retail before age thirty, and always looking for more opportunities
➼Jade: Azul definitely guarantees him a job, but I think he'd be more interested in staying on land and doing field work. mycologist... or anything that really captures his interest
➼Floyd: cliché answer, he can't decide. likely bounces between working with his brother and working with Azul. may just stay within the "family business" which is implied to be. mafia?
➼Kalim: do we even know what the al-Asims do. besides be rich. well whatever it is, he's doing that. definitely gets married fast, probably has a bunch of kids already. they're just as loud and excitable as he is
➼Jamil: oh Jamil :( please please have a happy ending. I can see him really enjoying academics, especially in positions where he can publish papers and get feedback. good for his ego. may start some insane academic drama, though (nothing he can't handle)
➼Vil: actor/model. confirmed! probably waits a while to get married, he's put off his career long enough
➼Rook: the fact that he wants to go into archaeology is so cute... being an ex archeology (now religious studies) major myself I think it's just so... Rook of him to be interested in history. I would love to talk to him about the Minoans. Or the Xia dynasty. can I marry him while we're at it? he eventually settles down somewhere in the woods
➼Epel: eughhrrggg can I say farming. sorry. I'm from a family of farmers and kinda sentimental about it. the connection to the land is very real and very emotional. but he does other stuff, too
➼Idia: [cue book 6 angst]
diasomnia fam is up in the air for now considering... *gestures to all of book 7*
➼bonus rollo: judge. because it would be funny.
#twisted wonderland x reader#twst x reader#tagging these for organizational purposes#anyway. I may be totally wrong I'm just going off of memory here. this was super fun tho!!

What do you think of Grrm's portrayal of religion?
Hi anon, this is a really interesting question, and it took me awhile to put together what I hope is a coherent answer.
For context, I think GRRM's background is important to keep in mind. George is almost exactly my parents' age and belongs to the same demographic of American anti-war ex hippies who aged into broadly liberal baby-boomers. Their radicalism has largely mellowed over the years, they may not be the most up to date on the appropriate terminology, and they tend to prioritize nonviolent solutions to systemic problems (my mom often tells me the younger generation needs to do another March on Washington). One thing liberal boomers also tend have in common is that often they grew up religious but, as they entered their 20s and went to college, broke away from the churches of their childhood. My family is full of ex-Catholic liberal boomers like George. They might have dabbled in Buddhism or Hinduism in the 70s, New Age mysticism in the 80s or 90s, and ended up settling into statements like, "I'm spiritual, but not religious." Almost invariably, they have a sort of disdain for organized religion, which they associate with a kind of yokel mentality, a place for anti-Choice anti-LGBTQ traditionalists. Although they will profess "to each his own," to the average liberal boomer, the church represents regressive values and they cannot imagine why anyone would willingly return to it. Even those who did remain religious take great pains to make it known they are not like those Christians. And to be fair, liberal boomers have a good reason to feel this way. The churches of their childhoods were not fun places for people whose own ideas and values went against post-WW2 broadly white middle class values. Unsurprisingly, SFF authors tend to fit into this category.
And this sort of bleeds into a lot of 90s SFF. You see a lot of worlds that have religion, but rarely do you have characters that are religious, and even more rarely do you have sympathetic young protagonists who are religious. You might have the occasional kindly priest or nun type, but far more often these characters will be abusive, mean spirited, or narrow minded (think of Brienne's childhood septas). Religion is often treated with the same disdain by in-world characters as it is by the authors themselves. You might even have worlds that are almost entirely secular, with vague references to "The Gods," but without any real religious traditions constructed around them (Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings series, which features two vague dieties, Eda and El, who seem to have no religious traditions surrounding them whatsoever). You might have cultish religions that are actively dangerous and must be stopped, or you might have Catholic church analogues, existing in opposition to everything cool and fun. Protagonists tend to be cynical non-believer types, or they might start off as true believers and lose their religion along the way. Rarely are they allowed to have sincere and abiding faith.
And you can see a lot of this in George's writing, in the way he portrays the Faith of the Seven and other religions, and the way the fandom receives them. The Faith of the Seven is Westeros' answer to the Catholic church, but there are also the Old Gods, the faith of R'hllor, and others, often presented in opposition to each other. George himself sees religion as a divisive force, and in ASOIAF, we see religions in conflict with each other, we see them weaponized to fuel vendettas, we see them used to drive prophesies and start wars. There's a clip somewhere, of George at a panel, where he's talking about religious conflict and his take is very reminiscent of George Carlin's-- you can tell he knows the bit. "Are you really going to kill all of these people because a giant invisible guy in the sky told you too? And your giant guy in the sky is different?" George asks, receiving a round of applause from the crowd. It's a very modern view on religion, which is fair, I think. He's writing for a modern audience who have modern conceptions of the church, and he is making a deliberate point about the harm religion can do. .
What I do think is missing, or at least downplayed, are the ways in which the medieval church was really a driving cultural and social force in medieval Europe. We live in a secular society, so we have the luxury of disregarding the church in a way that medieval people did not. This is one major way in which the worldbuilding of ASOIAF departs from the real world middle ages. To portray the medieval church as a primarily regressive institution that mostly drove conflict is too simplistic. The Catholic church is what culturally unified most of western Europe into what was known as "Christendom." The clergy served political functions, such as providing an important check upon the power of medieval kings, and when the power of the church declined, despotism grew. Socially, for most western Europeans, the church was also the center of day to day life. Insofar as medieval peasants had any opportunities for leisure time and celebrations, most of these revolved around the church. The church was for centuries a driving force behind art, music, literature, and architecture, and it also performed important social functions, such as operating poorhouses and leper-houses, and providing educations for children.
And all of this was just extremely normal. Most people prayed multiple times each day, and sincerely believed in heaven a hell. The state of one's soul after death was such a real concern that the sale of indulgences-- a way that you could pay to get your dead loved ones whose souls were in purgatory into heaven more quickly-- became a major racket for the Church. I've seen the HotD fandom react to Alicent Hightower's level of devotion calling her a religious "fanatic" and I cannot stress enough how absolutely normal Alicent would have been in medieval times. This is where I blame the framing of the show more than George, because it does set Alicent's faith in opposition to Rhaenyra's seemingly more modern values, but does it in a selective way. For instance, Alicent comes off as prudish, and modern audiences hate a prude, but we never see how her faith would have certainly inspired her, as queen, to take other more progressive actions such as giving alms to the poor or bestowing her patronage upon motherhouses. In another post about the fandom perception of Valyrian culture, I talked about how this modern view of devout belief, particularly Catholicism, tends to cast anything that is presented in opposition to it as an unequivocal good, and I see this sort of rhetoric slung around the fandom a lot, "why would you defend the pseudo-Catholics who hate women??" But the pseudo-Catholics are really just normal medieval people, and they didn't hate women, they simply lived in a patriarchal society and the material conditions did not yet exist which would allow them to challenge that in any meaningful way.

THIS IS AN 18+ BLOG!! Sorry minors, but I'm more comfy talking to people within my age range.
Other sites: Bluesky (18+ content) God, it's been so long since I've not only drawn Sonic, but been on friggin' tumblr.
Anyway, I'm Xeno, a transmasc artist, role-player and occasionally a fanfic writer. I was obsessed with Sonic when I was a little kid, played the first 3 games and read the archie comic, plus watched the old 90's cartoons. However, I eventually fell off because I couldn't afford the newer system and games at the time. They also stopped selling the comics at my local wal-mart then, and ... well the show stopped airing.
I recently watched all 3 films, still need to finish Knuckles, but man. I didn't expect to dive back into my old obsession this year, friggin' loved Sonic 3 though.... and now I'm in Sonadow hell. I'm also currently playing through Sonic x Shadow Generations to get a taste on what I've missed out on! I might check out Prime if I have the time for it, but I dunno.
Anyway, I needed an outlet for my shit, so here we are!
For the sake of my own sanity and because it fits my vibe in ships a little more, I'll be keeping my work to film verse most of the time. (That and I just love alot of things about the film's universe anyway.) However, I will post other sonic 'verses' be it games or more on occasion, but like I said, I'm sticking to films or... maybe whatever AUs sprout from my brain. While I can draw them in their original styles, I did develop something of my own, which sprouted from an experimental thought of what movie Sonic might look like if he were older... so yeah. lol;;; I hope that doesn't turn people off too much.
You may see me occasionally post crossover art involving another fandom ship too due to rp shenanigans with a friend...(bcuz I think it'd be neat if they met...). Don't expect that to consume much of my gallery though (unless its in high demand anyway). Anyway, hope you all enjoy my work! Rules
This is a sideblog. Due to that I don't follow back because I don't want to reveal the blog this one is connected to. Sorry folks ; 3;
Be respectful, don't start drama. Especially ship wars. I fucking hate those because there's more important matters at stake in the real world that I'd rather be dealing with than fighting over a bunch of pixels.
Anti-LGBT+ rhetoric and sexist/racist shits not tolerated here.
This is a fun zone for myself to aid me in these trying times. I need this right now while my country is going to hell. However, this is also very therapeutic for me for personal reasons that I won't say too much on other then: I relate to Shadow on a deep and personal level that...I didn't think I would...
Not to get too political, but if you voted for Dump/Muskrat or hold terf or christo-fascist beliefs, don't fucking talk to me. We will not get along, for sure. And I don't want any of that shit near me (I already deal with it irl with my family...no thank you.)
Ah I should've added this but forgot to! So, I'm actually a fan of horror or mature themes, so I may dabble in that from time to time (especially when it comes to my writing). If you're not a fan of that sort of thing, my tag for it is ;spookyfun or ;TooDarkDon'tLook. Otherwise, might be best not to follow.
I'm not a fan of callouts, but only support such if the person in question actually did some pretty heinous shit. Otherwise, if its over some stuff that I find pretty petty, I'm not bothering with it. I'm for the freedom of artists and creators to create what they want as long as it doesn't harm anyone. However, on that note, that doesn't mean I'm going to enjoy what everyone creates either. I just support the freedom to create without being harassed about it. As stated above, there are more pressing matters at play right now and fighting over pixels or fanfiction is just really dumb to me in general, when compared to what I'm dealing with irl. Basically: Unless its a true crime, I hate fandom drama. don't bring it to me.
I'll add more here when I think of them, but really, just...don't be a dick or a weird creeper (in the bad way) and we'll be chill, I guarantee it.

I still foolishly dabble in Twitter to see what some of my fellow animation enthusiasts are saying, and one particular SpongeBob tweet annoyed me so much that I’m not even gonna talk about it on that app. It was quoting a segment of the Season 12 episode Shell Games, a fairly standard and innocuous episode, and saying that the plot is an insult to Stephen Hillenburg’s legacy. That was the final straw for me. I can no longer trust the people who aren’t diehard SpongeBob geniuses with Stephen Hillenburg’s name. Especially when they’re blue checkmarks who can benefit from the clout SpongeBob fans will give them.
What was so insulting about Shell Games? Them revealing Patrick’s rock was actually a turtle shell, for one episode, out of nearly 600. I swear, you have less of a reason to be upset over The Principal and the Pauper, and even that’s been an overreaction. I’m not gonna say Shell Games is one of my all time favourites, but I think it’s got enough character with the turtles to make it memorable.
But the gall of that user to transparently have no idea what the show is like now, and still feel the need to stuff the late creator’s name into their opinion to feel better about it. It isn’t 2019 anymore, when Kamp Koral had just been announced and no one had the concrete information on Stephen’s awareness of it. Even back then, my stance on post-Hillenburg SpongeBob stuff has always been “I may not like a lot of it, but I salute the people who he knew continuing to work on it.” How is that such a hard stance to take? Can’t these blue checkmark people have empathy for working class animation teams?
I miss 2015-2018 when the SpongeBob community was more stable. When a Post-Sequel episode aired that the fandom didn’t like, we didn’t jump to “Stephen didn’t want this! Legacy tarnished!”, we discussed what we didn’t like about it and hoped the next episode would be better. A lot of fans still do that, but certainly not the normal people who haven’t even watched the show since they were kids. Fair enough, but if that’s the case, don’t act like an expert out of nowhere. If you were a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, and every single thing made for the past 94 years has had people going “Arthur Conan Doyle didn’t want this! Legacy tarnished!”, you’d understand my antipathy.
Never mind the irony of all this - Stephen Hillenburg was alive when Shell Games was produced. It was the 4th-to-last episode to enter production before he stopped coming in to the studio. Community notes sorted that out quickly. And let me say, you don’t have to like every episode he personally contributed to or oversaw. But come on, why am I expecting nuanced thinking from someone giving Elon Musk their money?
Twitter’s never been a great website, but now, it feels like all the worst people have cracked the code. Only the loudest and angriest voices get the attention, which gets more dangerous the more sensitive the topic is. And then, even if you agree with the sentiment, you will despise the personalities of the very people you’re agreeing with. It’s a platform that encourages all the worst human behaviours. Whenever I so much as make a joke on there, I feel like I’m walking on eggshells. It’ll hurt to see less from accounts I really respect, but I’ll offload it for a little while, because it’s not been good for my mood.
And I’m really sorry that this is yet another long angsty blogpost so soon. It’s been those times for me, and I hope you got some sort of useful lesson from what I’ve typed out.

Let's see what other letters arrived for you!
From @tarokitsu ♡
"i think chef is one of the most genuine, kind and talented people i know, shes so funny and im so grateful to be able to call her my friend!! her creativity is inspiring and i love how her art is always so full of life i could print it out and eat it. i have so many good memories associated with her already, i dont have enough words to explain how much i appreciate her but I LUV CHEF !!"
From @lumikello24 ♡
"Chef is one of the nicest, most supportive people I know! Hanging out with her is always fun and she's the first person I'd trust to watch over my drink at a party! I am regularly steam rolled into the floor by their art skills. Their ability to make things look 3d and expressive is absolutely mind-blowing! Her art could be straight out of a disney movie and her newest artwork has some of the most stunning lighting to have ever graced my eyeballs!"
From @fraugwinska ♡
"Chef quickly grew from being a goofy, lil ball of talent to be one of my most trusted, closest friends I've made since entering the Hazbin fandom. It's rare that you get the whole package - A nice, funny, sassy, chaotic, wonderful person that also draws like possessed by the gods of creativity, an amazing artists that even dabbles in writing and kills it there, too. She is the whole 360° threat. I will forever be proud to say that she was the first one to draw Alastor with Gem, my MC from my biggest fic and that she brought those two, who were and still are so dear and close to my heart fills me with so much gratitude and happiness. I swore to her one day that I'd be paying her accordingly for all the wonderful things she gave me. Now, knowing her, being her friend, commissioner and confidant... I know that no lottery win would ever be enough to truly show her my appreciation."
Chef's Advice To You
"I would say the best advice I have for artists is a couple things I gradually came to learn over the course of last year and that would be no matter how much experience you have never be afraid to sit down and re-learn the fundamentals if you feel stuck, it can be easy to brush it off as something you already know but sometimes your creativity can feel like it’s become stagnant and a quick refresher on perspective, composition, or colour theory etc can be all it takes to give you another creative BOOM
And also, (at least to me) your art is an expression of the soul, base its success on how it’s enriched you and made YOU feel, never on how many hits it may get/not get on social media. when you create something that’s an extension of yourself, the right people will appreciate it for that, which feels so much better than just churning things out that you think other people will enjoy"

So it's come to my attention that despite the page I have set up within the desktop version of my blog, I don't have a mobile version of an introduction post here. Oops! This one's newly written, too, in a different format than the other.
So, that being said - Hello!
I am Nikki/Niko (Whichever you prefer!) and I am a 28-year old Genderfluid artist person (My birthday is on January 9th!). I don't think there's too much to be said here, but I can and will say with confidence that this blog has been, especially in the last few or so years built up to be a catch-all for whatever I deem good to reblog or post (All of which typically related to fluff stuff, feel-good vibes or something that I may feel strongly about).
This place is, and always will be a safe space for a) People with disabilities (I am autistic, have ADD and Bipolar as well as Anxiety) and b) LGBTQ+-identifying people (I am, as mentioned before Genderfluid, and I'm Pansexual Panromantic!).
If a reblog or post makes you uncomfortable, then I will happily delete it if asked.
I make it a point to keep these posts SFW especially nowadays - however, I can't quite vouch for possibly the oldest of my posts (as I've been here since the early 2010s along with some ol' dumb teen thoughts involved and it'd take forever to sort absolutely everything out from over a decade ago at this point). I'm pretty sure that I've removed most of the NSFW stuff already from those years ago, but if I missed something then I don't mind deleting it as long as you let me know first (I'm incredibly disorganized and would appreciate a nudge in the right direction).
With these details out of the way - I am an artist that dabbles in various fandoms with no real sense of rhyme or reason outside of either hyperfixated interest or otherwise with the intent to update old ideas and refresh them into new ones. Like most artists on the internet, I ask that you do not repost without credit, trace and/or copy my work. I'm quite literally living paycheck by paycheck with my family right now. You CAN however use my artwork as a reference or as inspiration for your own work - If you do, lemme know! I'd love to see the result!
Here's a vague list of fandoms I dabble in (though my post history doesn't quite show that as I tend to leave most of my stuff to posting on Discord instead):
Pokemon (I've been a part of this one almost my entire life lol)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Another fandom I've been in for a grand majority of my life! I'm more of a casual fan as I haven't made much art recently, but I still absolutely love looking at what others come up with for OCs and stuff.)
Undertale (ESPECIALLY AU-centric)
Digimon (Passionate about this one specifically - I have a project I've been working with under this fandom since 2014 on and off)
Cookie Run (Kingdom primarily with a minor Ovenbreak focus for AU concept ideas)
Dark Cloud/Dark Chronicle (This one's SO obscure, but if you know these games then I give you a virtual baked good of your liking! These two games hold a very special place in my heart.)
Dance Dance Revolution, NotITG, Friday Night Funkin (I'm a rhythm game nerd and love the creativity of the communities surrounding these three - I just haven't been able to piece together anything for it yet visually except for FNF stuff on and off)
A Dance of Fire and Ice (Same as the DDR fandom part, but I've made a couple fanart pieces before so this one I may have an easier time of conceptualizing later)
FNAF (Specifically Security Breach AU work! This one's not as frequent as others but I still have stuff in mind for it. Security Breach is how I finally caved with the FNAF series as a whole after watching how the fandom grew over the years.)
Warriors (Warrior Cats, in our year 2024? Eeyup. I just like the funny spiritual witties!)
Team Fortress 2 (This one's in and out but it's one that I come back to a lot as my boyfriend, regularly interacting and involved in the GMOD animation community reminds me of my own TF2 stuff with his presence alone lol. Love you James! <3)
Persona 3, 4 and 5 (This one's a lil self-explanatory but I have AU ideas surrounding these games that I want to make more art for eventually)
If I have anything else not listed before, I'll add it to the list. C: Please keep in mind that although I dabble in these fandoms, AU versions of existing characters may be changed in terms of sexuality, personality etc to reflect the AU they are from (For example, I have a version of Cream Unicorn Cookie that uses he/they pronouns, and my Redeemed!Pomegranate Cookie from the same AU leans bisexual over lesbian for reasons relating to reflection of character and overall character development. I like to make characters more flexible while self-indulging, so keep this in mind). I note this because my own headcanons about certain characters have set off one or two people in the past unintentionally and they VERY much have pushed things in an effort to keep canon down my throat out of retaliation. Let's just say that this part in particular is a thing that taps a sore spot for me for personal reasons. :/
When it concerns making art of my characters - surprise or not, feel free to make art of them and mention me in post (and/or message me, either way works)! It makes me feel SO loved when I get art from others, and I appreciate every piece dearly. 💜💜💜 (I go so far as to hold onto an archive of art that was done for me - with artist names in-tact within the file name nowadays!)
A few things to consider when it concerns tickling-related matters with me:
MINORS - PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT WITH MY TICKLING CONTENT. Long overdue to add this one (as of 12/28/24) but I’m updating this now as I’m worried and anxious, and I want to be safe rather than sorry.
I am a Switch! I'm unsure how far Ler or Lee I am just yet, but I do enjoy tickling both ways. Unfortunately, however, I'm the kind of person that practically flies across a room when poked,, (if it comes down to tickling my sona - Niko Spirata - tie or hold 'em down if you want to wreck 'em with tickles lol)
My interest in tickling alone is purely SFW - It feels too weird looking at IRL photos/videos with very rare exception (a lot of the exception is the giggle the lee produces from ticklish contact). As a result, all the stuff I'll be reblogging and posting here is art or animation-related instead!
My favorite tickle trope is the one where a shrunken someone or a small something wiggles under the unwitting lee's clothing to tickle them! (Points at wormonastriing's Squirmles as an example of this trope :3) No, seriously. If I end up with art of any of my characters getting destroyed with tickles in this manner I will ASCEND BEYOND GALAXIES.
My favorite spots with tickling overall are belly, side and rib tickling - on rarer occasions, I enjoy tickling in other places (I prefer foot tickling if the lee has paws instead of normal feet!). This lines up with a particular enjoyment of characters being slightly chubby! I looove a good squeeze of the sides or belly, enough to get the lee blurting out giggles.
I have only a few tags I use now on a regular, but these are:
#nikki-tine (This is my user tag and I put it in with my art posts and other things I post sometimes. You may also see others' posts under this tag, primarily with stuff related to asks or when art's been posted for me in the past <3)
#art, #tickle art, #tickling art (These are self-explanatory!)
#NJEGNJ (Something to that effect, lol. It's not exact but keyboard smash tag is typically wrote similarly or around the same for several posts, all of which ones that got me chuckling or giggling like a dork!)
~
My Commission Status is currently set to OPEN (paypal prioritized for now).
It's really complicated, however, and I don't have any other methods than Paypal and Robux right now so if you have questions about that then feel free to message me and I'll try to clear it up as best I can!
I only have two prices, both fully colored and shaded.
Chibies are $25 USD (+ 5 for an extra character)
My normal art style is $50 USD (+ 10 for an extra character)
I do best leaving the BG transparent, but if I HAVE to work on one then I can do nature-themed backgrounds pretty okay. It’s not a strong-suit of mine, however…
My Art Trade Status is Busted Wide Open™ to Mutuals, but I'm a little picky and choosy with random people.
If I decline an Art Trade, please don't take it personally!
In terms of Roleplay, It's Closed on-blog, BUT I'm Open to Roleplay in Discord servers (Provided there's a Tupperbot there for me to use).
I've been looking to find an RP server that has mutuals/friends and allows Undertale-related stuff (especially of the tickling-related kind!), so if you're a part of one please let me know!
DM Status overall is Open (As long as you are kind to me, I will return kindness back!).
My Asks are ALWAYS OPEN! I really like getting stuff in my inbox (and I unfortunately don't get asks often at all).
I'm most comfortable interacting with other adults and SFW blogs (this is more-so for safety than anything else on my end. I don't have the emotional or mental energy to handle potential drama involving context-disconnected words). I don't mind interacting with NSFW blogs here but only if in the context of specific interests of mine and not much else.
I don't really have much in the way of who can't interact with me as long as you are respectful/mindful of chat etiquette and are aware of the kind of impact you may make in messaging people like myself.
I do my best to look at blog descriptions and respect DNI's - If I end up poking at something I shouldn't by accident, as long as it's not met with aggression in DMs, I will happily fix whatever problem you may have related to that. I HATE making others uncomfortable/upset!
If you have questions, feel free to ask! I don't really use other forms of Social Media, but I do use some websites with a social aspect to them casually.
Links:
Flightrising (Funny dragon site)
Chicken Smoothie (This one's a fun lil adopt site from the late 2000s)
GPX Plus (This is literally Pokefarm Q before Pokefarm Q lol)
Gaia Online (Another old site with unfortunate currency inflation, but it's the site that's kept me going with character designing and such over the years! The blog part here is old, but the avatar is updated from time to time. This site is the reason I lean on Monochrome + a color as an aesthetic a lot lol)
Bluesky (mostly inactive - want activity there? nudge me here!)
DeviantArt (It's VERY rare I post here now. Also a warning for those under 18 - there's suggestive and nsfw art in my favorites dotted here and there so look with caution. my gallery itself is SFW however and all the works that would have been nsfw are archived.)
Artfight (Self-explanatory!)

20 Questions for Fic Writers ~
Taken from @kcwriter-blog because I like to do these things. 😊 And I will tag: @solavellan--hell @loredrinker @ar-ghilas-vir-banal @miraabellee and anyone else who may want to do this.
1) How many works do you have on AO3? Only 9 works on AO3, a few extras hidden in my Notion I am unsure about publishing. Though I am relatively new to fic-writing.
2) What’s your total AO3 word count? 527,219. I go hard, apparently?
3) What are your top 5 fics by kudos? The Theory of Being Golden Thread Does Not Bind Courage Like a Crown Ill-Timed Desires Mending Strings of Loss First three are long fics, last two are one-shots.
4) What fandoms do you write for? My main love is Dragon Age, primarily Solavellan. But I have a handful of pieces that involve Cullen x Lavellan (he's just so sweet). My first fic was for Baldur's Gate 3, Dark Urge and Enver Gortash but I have one for my half-drow Tav and Gale in the works. Just nothing published yet. There's like 6 chapters, it felt like throwing a drop of water in an endless ocean of Gale fics.
5) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Yes! The only time I do not comment back is if I forget (sometimes it happens 😬) or if the only thing I can post will give away future chapters for said person, so I will look the other way until I see them comment on the chapter that would normally be spoiled.
I love love reading the comments, especially ones that like to talk about what could come next, or point out a specific line they liked. Ugh! The best.
6) What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I like goodish endings (even for the evil folks, the bad ones just end up together? ykyk?) However, I do have a scrapped chapter from my Avise Lavellan x Solas fic. After Solas leaves, she has a bit of a fling with Cullen. He does not take her ending it well... and one of the comments about it was "Yikes". So I'll call that one my angstiest.
7) What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? So far my happiest ending is either of my Lavellan fics, Golden Thread Does Not Bind (Solas x Lavellan) which goes past Veilguard and into the Fade. And Courage Like a Crown (Cullen x Lavellan) involves marriage and happiness. Fluffy.
8) Do you get hate on fics? So far no, thankfully.
9) Do you write smut? Sometimes? It depends on the story, truly. Sometimes the story thrive with smut, sometimes I think it detracts from other aspects. I do always struggle with the *line* however, especially in descriptions. It's been something I am working on.
10) Do you write crossovers? Not generally a fan. I could see it in some instances, but we'll see if I ever dabble. Depends on where my inspiration comes from.
11) Have you ever had a fic stolen? I don't believe I have anything popular enough to be stolen, so probably not.
12) Have you ever had a fic translated? No but that sounds neat as hell! I'd love to see it.
13) Have you ever cowritten a fic before? No, I'm pretty new to the scene, so I haven't been approached or considered it really.
14) What’s your all-time favorite ship? For fandoms I have started to write: Dragon Age: Solas x Lavellan Baldur's Gate 3: Gale x Tav/Durge Guild Wars 2: Canach x Sylvari Commander
15) What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Probably my own novel. 😂 But for real, I have this AU idea for a modern Enver Gortash x Dark Urge but it's like 2 lines and a song in inspiration and so it keeps just sitting there.
16) What are your writing strengths? I think I have an interesting style when the characters are reflecting internally, and how they feel about their world. Having a mystery that unfolds with later chapters as more information is given.
17) What are your writing weaknesses? I feel like I struggle sometimes when there's too much dialogue and it feels rushed to me.
18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic? I like including it if it makes sense! Obviously with Solavellan you use... quite a bit of Elvhen. And even in my Cullen x Lavellan fic there was a bit because Cullen tries to learn some for her. But otherwise I've only really used some French here and there because it's a language I do know.
19) First fandom you wrote for? Baldur's Gate 3, Fountain of Decay
20) Favorite fic you’ve ever written? It's not finished, but my current fic I have fallen so in love with my OC and her views of the world and it just mushes up my heart. I look forward to writing it, an churn out chapters probably a bit too quick but I just... can't get enough. It's turned into my most commented on / most kudos / most hit / most bookmarked / most subscribed fic and I just... I can't with it. I am in Veilguard era now and I am not looking forward to it ending. Being able to expand on my thoughts for the Forgotten Ones, and their history has been a delight. I am actually considering writing up one using the history I developed for them into a fic of just about them... not sure if it would be interesting for anyone else so we'll see!

RULES & FAQs
THIS BLOG IS 18+ NO MINORS 🔞

WELCOME ABOARD! This blog has amazing readers which makes it a lot of fun. You can call me Tox or Toxy (she/her). I usually write smut. Sometimes I write darkfic. I dabble in horror. Please do not follow me if you're sensitive to the warnings on my masterlists, found in my bio. Check your content settings to make sure you can see everything. Heed warnings on fics. Last updated July 2024.
Basics
Tox/Toxi, she/her, millennial. English or Spanish.
WIPs are on hiatus. I'm kinda struggling but trying to do my best. Thank you for your patience.
Do not copy, translate, or reupload my work. Do not put it into AI or make bots of it. Ty for understanding.
Please do not follow me if you are averse to dark content including dubcon and noncon.
Q: Are fic requests open?
A: Not full fics, but thots & questions are welcome 🩷
Q: Will you write more every inch/left in Lincoln?
A: I would like to. More here. For Every Inch, there are two more parts planned.
Q: When is [fic] coming back? How many chapters?
A: IDK, sorry :( If I knew I'd tell you. In the future, I'm not planning to release things as I write, I'm gonna try to finish everything before posting. Problem is I have a lot of one shot fails / play as I go AUs. We'll see. I can tell you Every Inch has 6 total parts planned.
Q: Did you read my fic?
A: I wish I could read everyone's fics, but in addition to there being a lot of you, I'm a slow/bad reader. I'm also overdosed on pedro rn, but I still share fics on @toxicrecs. You are welcome to send a fic or tag me if you think the readers here would like it. When I read a fic, I also reblog it here on main. I am most likely to read shorter drabbles/fics.
Q: AO3?
A: Here, I've done a lot of catching up but still not everything is on there. If there's something specific you would like me to bring over let me know and I will.
Q: Tag list?
A: Please follow @toxicfics, use the person icon to turn on notifications, and use this trick for getting a tab on your dashboard just for your blog subscriptions so you can see what you missed.
Q: Are the fics always dark on this blog?
A: No.
Q: What is the brothel?
A: I HC my characters as living in a brothel which has its own crack sideblog @thebrothel.
Q: What are Joelkémons?
A: Reader-coined term for the Joel variants on this blog. Some are listed here: Joelkémon cards.
Q: Can we make your characters into bots?
A: No, please don't do this. It makes me feel bad and they don't even work. Every time, it puts me farther away from updating the fic. Please lmk if you ever see my work made into a bot, copied, etc. Please don't draw attention to it without speaking to me first 🙏🏼 I generally like to keep things quiet and not make a big deal out of it. Also, I wont make bots of my fics either.
Q: Who's night walks!Joel? Who's thighs out?
A: Night Walks is an AU where Joel is your hot, older, creepy pothead neighbor. Night walks masterlist. Thighs out (another AU) is your boyfriend's hot slutty dad.
Q: What's a HOG? Who/what is GILF?
A: Hot Old Guy, from Silence can never be bought. GILF is grandpa I'd Like to Fuck and may refer to the one from Pawn Shop (Joel in his 60s) @gilfjoel.
Q: Who is Dr. Rock?
A: Hot sex therapist who roleplays my characters. Dr. Rock is also the poster boy for avoiding discourse.
Q: Do you still write slashers?
A: Yes. Main/slashers masterlist.
Q: What other fics & blogs do you rec?
A: Please check out @toxicrecs
Q: How can I stay motivated to write without getting a lot of notes?
A: Please see these posts: here and here.
Q: Why did you unfollow me?
A: I could've lost (some or all) interest in your fandom. I may have forgotten why I followed you, especially if what you're posting has changed. Or I might be wanting to reduce the discourse I see.
✨Q: Am I blocked?
A: Maybe. The most common reasons I block are for policing or judging what others post, kink shaming, or gossip / spreading harmful rumors. Shit can make its way back to me one way or another.
I tend to ignore and block false accusations, rumors, and kink shamers instead of giving them a huge audience by responding or addressing it.
If I see harmful takes in the wild or targeted harassment of a writer or reader minding their own business: blocked. And if a post is bad enough, I may block people in the notes. Because I don't want to be on your dash if you share those views, even if it's about something I don't write. On my blog, it's important for readers to be able to understand fiction can't be equated with real life.
You can get blocked on anon too.

20 Questions for Fic Writers!
I've been tagged by @stars-of-kyber and @andthebubbles. 😁 So although I feel barely qualified, I guess I best do this...
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
7. 🤗
I started about 2 months ago, so... and yes, they're all Kanthony. Initially just started as a way of contributing to Anthony Week 2023, and I didn't even expect that I'd actually do all 7 days.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
13,370.
Currently ranging at 661 to 3,779 per fic. Rookie numbers!
3. What fandoms do you write for?
So far, just my beloved Bridgerton.
But there have been a couple other shows that have tempted me...
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Astride - 166
Nursery - 118
Hunt - 105
Yours - 94
Temptation - 88
Having published a handful with various ratings, it's quite interesting to see the kudos, bookmarks (private vs public), and subs ratios! Much to think about.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes.
Why... I sort of have a need? Idk, when I see a comment it's hard to just leave it hanging there and not to reply. Like irl if someone looked at something I made and verbally commented on it... and I just stared back blankly not saying anything. 😐 This is how it feels to me on the receiving end at least haha. And my replies saying various forms of 'Thank you!' is probably quite repetitive, but hey ho.
Plus comments give you that lil hit of dopamine; from both povs as a writer or reader. Being on the reader side for most of my Ao3 activities I tend to comment on most of fics I read, I can't help it - I must tell you what I loved about it and why, and there's a pleasure in reciprocating that back too. Look, now I've written half an essay on the subject, gaaah. (I've not been on Ao3 as much as I'd like to recently, and because I opened it to scoop out the stats for some of the questions above I can now see that I have some unreads... and the need is happening.)
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hmmm *thinking really hard*, I don't think any of them have an ending that is all that angsty. If I had to choose, maybe Temptation?
The pattern I've shown so far in my posted works is that it's gonna be 90% fluff. Though that is liable to change. 😆
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably Nursery?
I'm not sure, cause they've all ended on a pretty optimistic note so far. But that one has Kate and Anthony with a few of their kids, so it's the furthest on the Kanthony HEA timeline.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not yet...
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Ummm 👀 I may have dabbled in some smut.
What kind... hm, the kind where both people are panting for each other, and end up caving because they literally can't hold their horniness in anymore (this totally explains why I went feral for Bridgerton S2, ha). Another pattern I seem to have is making Anthony a submissive man puddle.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Not yet, but I do have some crack ideas I may explore.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of, I very much doubt it.
How often does this happen to people?
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No. I'd certainly be all for it if anyone ever wanted to translate any works of mine. 😊
If I was proficient enough to write in other languages, then I would probably try publishing the different versions from the get go.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Kinda?
Nothing formal, but there was a lengthy comment thread on Reddit some months ago where myself and another user went back and forth re-writing the script for that stormy library scene 😅 (not so much re-writing what was already there, bar the last few lines, more of a continuation in a universe where Kate hadn't fled).
14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?
Must I even answer this? Kanthony, c'mon now.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
There's only 1 work that I have, where I've actually started a chapter 2. And I have all the faith that I will finish it. ✍️🤓
Other potential WIPs, that are currently just posted as one shots, only exist in my head... who knows if they will see the light of day.
16. What are your writing strengths?
This question feels illegal to be asked.
I have no idea, I'm very new to this whole writing thing. At least in terms of fiction, so I'm not sure what I'd consider my strengths to be. I feel like I need some more practice before I can get a real sense of this?
I would say that dialogue usually comes very quickly to me, and it's having to fill in the bits around it that takes more brain muscles. So that might indicate something.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Everything apart from the answer to the question above.
But really I think it's remembering that there is a world outside of the main couple happening, and trying to describe the details there. Also other general 'setting the scene' stuff like clothing, weather etc etc. I usually just want to jump straight in with some random dialogue.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
On writing it... no thoughts; not done it yet!
If I needed to for some unknown fic reason in the future, I'm sure I'll be apologising profusely in the author notes for trusting Google translate and probably butchering whatever language it is.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Still just the one so far, Bridgerton. 😌
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
Hunt 🥺🥹 I was a lot of feels, and just very indulgent tbh.
I also really enjoyed my shortest one, Obedient, which was in 2nd person (hadn't done that before). The writing of that one was just really fun and I idky but I've reread it quite a bit!
__________________________________________________
I'm woefully looking at my Ao3 bookmarks (which has grown exponentially since joining Tumblr), full of things that I've not got round to reading yet. So I'm tagging partly based on stuff hanging out on top of that pile: @islemeadow, @ladykettlechips, @hydriotaphia, @eleanor-bradstreet, and the smut aunties @colettebronte & @fayes-fics 😋 (if y'all wanna do it, ofc. I tried to find those who hadn't been tagged/done it yet, sorry if you've actually already done this and I've just not found it).

Get to know your author. Thanks to the tag from @hederigerenthag
1. How many works on AO3?
My total number of works is 130, which includes several compilations of drabbles, each compilation counting as one work.
2. Total AO3 word count?
According to AO3, my word total count is 304,703 which surprises me. If I’d guessed without looking, I would have guessed half that total. I must not be a very good mathematician.
3. Top five fics by kudos?
I’m going to list individual fics, not drabble compilations, since I add to the compilations for months, and any individual “ficlet” probably only received a few kudos.
These are all fics in the MFU (television series) fandom, although I have added some of my older, non MFU stories to AO3.
Coma A very short, angsty Napoleon/Illya preslash story
A Desirable Strategy A Napoleon/Illya preslash story
Go To The Head Of The Class My first posted MFU fic, so a lot of the kudos can be attributed to “welcome to the fandom”
Second Chances Another Napoleon/Illya preslash (to nongraphic slash) story
Adrift An angsty story that can be read as either Gen or slash
4. What fandoms do you write for?
A long, long time ago, I used to write for Scarecrow and Mrs King, an American spy television show from the 1980s. For a couple of years, also a long time ago, I wrote a little for the Harry Potter (book) fandom. During the past few years, I’ve been writing exclusively for The Man from U.N.C.L.E. television series.
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yes. I love getting comments and I always try to respond.
6. Fic with the angstiest ending?
I prefer happy endings, but I did leave an angsty ending once.
Cliffhanger, an MFU fic.
7. Fic with the happiest ending?
Hmm. I’m not sure how to define “happiest ending.” As long as there’s no major character death or permanent impairment, and my main characters are still together (which can be gen or slash or het, depending on the fandom and story) I consider it happy. I don’t write sad endings, and most of my endings tend toward humorous, so I can’t think of one that couldn’t be classified as “happy” other that Cliffhanger, mentioned above as angsty. How’s that for a nonanswer?
8. Do you get hate?
Back when I was writing for Scarecrow and Mrs King, there was a subset of the fandom who tended to be vocally disparaging toward writers who didn’t write Lee and Amanda (the main characters) exactly how they preferred Lee and Amanda be written, and I was one of the recipients of their snitty barbs. Luckily for me, that group was a very small minority of the fandom.
In the MFU fandom, I think most remaining fans are grateful to see stories still being written for a television show that went off the air in the 1960s, so they’re very positive toward writers. I’ve gotten a little bit of hate, but all of it has come from names I don’t recognize and can’t identify as actual fans; some of it may even be AI. I try to ignore it.
9. Do you write smut?
It depends on your definition of “smut.” There are people who consider even the mildest curse word or the smallest hint of a M/M relationship to be smutty, and I’m not one of them. However, I don’t write graphic sex. I sometimes enjoy reading it, but writing it isn’t part of my skill set.
10. Have you ever co-written a fic?
I’ve participated in several “round robin” fics but not any fics that were co-written out of the public eye.
11. All time favorite ship?
If you’d asked me twenty-five years ago, I would have said Lee and Amanda from SMK, because that’s what I was into at the time. If you ask me now, I’d say Napoleon and Illya from MFU, because that’s what I’m into now. However, I can’t really place one pair above the other as an all-time favorite because they’re from different places in my life.
12. WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Ugh. A long time ago, when I was dabbling in Harry Potter fic, I was posting to a site called The Sugar Quill, which was a heavily moderated and strictly canon based site & story archive. The Sugar Quill shut down suddenly while I was in the middle of writing/posting a long fic, and I never finished the story. I still feel bad for not finishing it but, honestly, there’s not a place for that type of story in the fandom anymore.
13. Writing strengths?
I’ve been told I’m good at writing banter.
14. Writing weaknesses?
Where to start … Probably my worst weakness as a writer is that it’s my nature to be “business writer concise,” which isn’t a great style for writing fiction. I’m okay at writing 100 word drabbles and short scenes, but I struggle to expand ideas into longer fics. I also tend to obsess over small things (like, “what is the exact right word to use here?”) instead of moving on toward the finished product.
It’s a good thing I never tried to make a living by writing fiction. I would have been homeless.
I’d love to pass this forward by tagging someone else but, despite having a tumblr account for months, I don’t know how to do so. Admittedly, I’m antiquated and not very proficient at such things.

I do not get on Star Wars much but I'm adding my own two cents to this. The way I correct Ahsoka's montrals and lekku length problem plot hole is by world building and just saying she's physically stunted. She was in war as a child so she had to do more physical activity then what was healthy for her. Same thing happens with gymnasts, if they practiced since they were a child they end up stunting their growth and end up staying short. Montrals and lekku would probably be hurt in the battles and constantly throwing her body around without rest. Her body was focused on healing, no growing.
"But Ahsoka's tall!" you may say.
Well, her head problem may be malnourishment. She basically lived on a warship that most likely only had rations for humans. The rations for humans may have the correct things for her body but not her montrals and lekku as they are built differently than the rest of her body. Most likely her species' diet was not taken into account or it was ignored as she wasn't human in a society dominated by humans.
No, she couldn't receive the nutrients later and grow her montrals and lekku the correct length that's not how biology works. If a child doesn't get the right nutrients, especially during childhood or puberty, they won't grow right. What causes kids to grow will usually only be released at certain points in time, like childhood and puberty, and not be released at any other time.
"They grow throughout her life!"
And it is possible what makes her montrals and lekku grow may have been damaged. We see that comparing young togruta and older togruta their montrals and lekku lengthen noticeable in their teen years. As such, we can assume that this is the real start of growth that will continue for the rest of their life. This is similar to how you already have head hair but body hair grows around puberty and won't stop growing for the rest of your life unless you get a disease that makes it stop growing. Or just so old your body dies on you.
Because that starting point of growth is damaged with from battle wounds and/or malnourishment it still means Ahsoka's montrals and lekku probably won't grow correctly, leaving her with short ones for her age for the rest of her life. They may even grow the wrong shape from the damage.
If you compared Ahsoka to Shaak Ti just remember Shaak Ti grew up in peace time and most likely was nourished properly according to the Togruta diet. Shaak Ti had a healthy life style and her montrals and lekku would grow correctly for the rest of her life unless she received an injury that somehow permanently damaged them in some way.
If I remember correctly there was the release of an official answer about why Ahsoka's montrals and lekku were so wonky. They were really trying to cover the differences instead of giving an actual explanation besides "that's just how it grows".
And before you go asking about the force fixing it, don't even try. Not even canon knows anything about it and this is a headcanon thing from someone who only dabbles in the Star Wars fandom from time to time. To me I would rather have this interesting world building explanation to fix a continuity inconsistency over leaving it be or just slapping the force over it to fix it.
Again, casual enjoyer, I don't know if the fandom has already come up with this or another explanation. Just tired of people constantly arguing about it and here's my two cents on how to basically ignore that to simply focus on watching the show.

@purlty23 tagged me in This game and I'm super excited about it! (I tried to reblog the original post and just tack on but tumblr hates me)
Thanks Blue, this was so fun!
I'm tagging: @amara-among-the-stars, @mac-and-thefox, @littlemoon-beam, @divine-misfortune and whoever else also wants to expose their sins to the internet. Under the cut, because LONG.
Xena Warrior Princess - Passive Enjoyer Only passive because I was too young to be anything else. Barely counts, except that this show was my first real obsession so I have to include it. I dressed up as Xena for halloween when I was like…5. The pictures are incredible.
Good Charlotte - Mostly passive As is a trend with a lot of these, I wrote a little fan fic, and daydreamed a thousand scenarios, but never shared any of it. I was mildy obsessed with Benji Martin, but I didn't really get involved beyond that.
LOTR - Creative Enjoyer The first fan-fic I ever posted on the internet (I was twelve, people were mean). I didn't make any friends within the fandom. But I was so determined to write for it that I had an entire novel planned out--that eventually became an original book idea instead.
Harry Potter- Mostly Passive I read a lot of HP fanfic, but not as much as others. I didn't get involved in online conversations. I did dabble in writing some fics that I hid from the world and never finished.
The Boston Red Sox - Creative Enjoyer Ok. Now you know why I said I was exposing myself. Look I was like 12-14. My best friend and I filled entire notebooks with our MANY chaptered fic that spanned the entire 2004 Red Sox Season, that we started the day they won the world series that year. We hand wrote it all, I transcribed it into my computer where it still exists somewhere. It was our EVERYTHING. And it has never (and will never) see the light of day. I may have posted some Red Sox fic on the internet in my Live Journal days, and I made a bunch of online friends within that community, but they never saw THE fic.
Rammstein - Creative Enjoyer Again, my best friend and I had a notebook with a long form rammstein fic in. We didn't go as far with this one. And I didn't get involved in any online communities. Though, our love for Rammstein lived a lot longer than our fic writing did.
Twilight - Creative Enjoyer In that I wrote and posted a single fic about Alice.
Lost - Passive Enjoyer. I read a billion Skate fics. Probably thought about writing my own, but I don't think I ever actually did. Was obsessed with this show until the last season. I still have never seen the last episode.
Vampire Academy (THE BOOKS) - Passive Enjoyer. Not a lot online. Read some fic. Was so obsessed with this book that I started to write a fanfic where we got to see some of the story from Dimitri's persepective and accidentally created and entire new plot and new characters and accidentally created my own CHILD of an original novel because of it.
Grishaverse (Shadow and Bone/Six of Crows/Rule of Wolves) - Passive Enjoyer Loved these books. Loved every single character. Read as much fanfic as I could find. Accidentally spoiled a death in one of the books with fanfiction.
Avenged Sevenfold - Creative Enjoyer Short lived. Read some INCREDIBLE fics on the basically defunct site Mibba and thought "I can do that" and was fighting for my life in college. Wrote a few chapters of a fic. Got decent feedback. Got bored immediately.
Supernatural - passive enjoyer Read some fic. Took me like 15 tries to actually get through the whole show. Adored it, never went very far with it.
Marvel (Specifically The Winter Soldier) - Passive Enjoyer. I should have been a creative enjoyer, but was too afraid to write anything or put myself out there. (I spent all of my time after high school/college thinking that fanfic was a waste of time and I should never write it because I needed to be serious. What a waste). Still mildly obsessed with BuckyNat. I adore Bucky and Black Widow. If they put out another good movie I could see myself falling down that rabbit hole and actually letting myself land. The trailer for The Winter Soldier changed my brain chemistry (nevermind the whole move).
Fallout 4 - Passive Enjoyer I could read Sole Survivor/Paladin Danse fics every day forever. I know that's insane. Stop looking at me like that.
Ghost - Creative Enjoyer. Finally allowed myself to write whatever the fuck I want and have fun with it and it has changed my entire fucking life. Wish I'd done it sooner. So glad I got to do it now and with all of you. ♥

20 questions for fic writers 💜
tagged by the lovely @mihrsuri (I think more than once, although the other time was some time ago... thank you for the tag! 🥰💜)
1. how many works do you have on ao3? 221, not counting unrevealed ones from exchanges
2. what's your total ao3 word count? 1,417,178 words
3. what fandoms do you write for? Right now, mostly M*A*S*H and The West Wing, though I do occasionally dabble in other fandoms (Star Trek TOS, For All Mankind, etc.)
4. top five fics by kudos? 1) Ties That Bind - Star Trek (Spirk) 2) a wild call and a clear call (that may not be denied) - Star Trek (Spirk) 3) Uncharted Territory - M*A*S*H (Beejhawk) 4) ye who are weary, come home - M*A*S*H (Punnihawk, Charles/Donna, canon pairings, etc.) 5) you were meant for me - M*A*S*H (Punnihawk)
5. do you respond to comments? Not usually. I feel pretty guilty about it and I do try and go for a thank you note in the A/N at the end of each story/chapter, but my spoons are pretty limited. I do however cherish each and every comment, and if I have regular commenters, your username is probably carved into my heart. 🥺
6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Uhhh. That is a good question, because even if I write in angsty/bittersweet scenes, the endings are usually more hopeful or happy.
I guess my best answer to that is "let's do some living (after we die)" only because it's immediately followed by canonical character death. lmao.
7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? There are any number of stories you could pick for this one, haha. But I guess if I had to pick (twist my arm, why don't you!), then it's probably either "ye who are weary, come home" (OT3 Endgame!!!), OR "Make the Leap" (this one takes place on January 21st, 2007, so that and the title should make it self explanatory 😉)
8. do you get hate on fic? Not... really? Sometimes I'd get comments complaining that I should be writing a different pairing 🤷🏻♀️ (which..???) but I don't get much "engagement" to begin with usually, so I'm grateful that what I do get is for the most part positive. 🥰
9. do you write smut? Yep. Nothing super hardcore and not very often (because I am a self-conscious girlie haha) but I will write it. Posting it is another story. I want to do more, it's just getting over myself to do it. (if anyone has advice on how to proceed with getting over my self-consciousness, I'm ALL ears).
10. craziest cross over? I once, in my misspent youth, wrote a crossover between Downton Abbey and Titanic (it's still buried in the depths of my FFN page, alas it is unfinished.)
11. have you ever had a fic stolen? Not as far as I know, no.
12. have you ever had a fic translated? Yes! My one M*A*S*H Fic, "Here's Hoping We Meet Now and Then" (aka BJ puts the "GOODBYE" stones together with the help of the rest of the 4077) was translated into German by a dear friend of mine, Pat. And you can read that here.
13. have you ever co-written a fic before? A few times in the distant past. Once recently (I'm sure you'll all see it soon enough!!) 😈... in general, I love the idea of getting to write with my fellow ficcers whom I cherish and admire, so I'd love to do more co-written fics.
14. all time favorite ship? I'm not picking one lmao. But if I had to? Probably CJ/Danny. They had everything. the chemistry. the will they/won't they. the yearnnnning. (Close runners-up are BJ/Peg/Hawkeye, Anna/Bates, Spirk... and Kate/Gibbs because I don't forget my roots).
15. what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Triad Wedding. 😬 I got kinda burnt out and (at the time I finished it) went "eh no one will want to read this anyway" so now I have a 125k MASH draft on my desktop. It has... well, everything. Bisexual OT3 wedding. Mucho smut (more than I've ever published in one story before in my LIFE). Communication ✨. etc. It's been two years now, so even though there's a full draft, I don't want to promise that it'll ever be done. It needs a lot of work.
16. what are your writing strengths? Dialogue. I used to be terrified of writing dialogue, and now I think I'm decent at it. Staying in character, maybe?
17. what are your writing weaknesses? Pacing! Ask me why the 125k draft mentioned above is only seven days of in-universe time.
Also I could be better at worldbuilding. I know many authors who flesh out the whole universe and make it feel so breathable and lived in (Mia for example, she's a champ at that!) but that's still a work in progress for me. AND smut. I need to get better/more confident at that, but I've yet to learn how after six-odd years of writing it. 😐
18. thoughts on dialogue in another language? I don't speak enough languages for that. Other authors can do it and do it convincingly. Not me tho.
19. first fandom you wrote in? Lost (baby's first fanfic, still buried in the depths of my FFN page); but I really got into it with Downton Abbey.
20. favorite fic you've written? I could give one of my usual answers about "ye who are weary" (because of the technical achievement of covering so many characters in one story), or "Don't Bet Your Future" (probably my MOST self-indulgent) but instead...
I really enjoyed writing "None of Us Are More Than Caretakers", guys. The season 7 secret relationship is one of my favourite time periods to cover for CJ and Danny, and getting to write this little "missing episode" between Last Hurrah and Institutional Memory was so much fun, and a great technical challenge. Plus it WAS self-indulgent because I got to write all the post-coital scenes we were robbed of in canon AND build up to the events of IM.
thank you again!!! and I'll tag whoever is interested and has a few free hours to kill! 💜✨
