So, imo Madara will forever be the middle child, the 4th to be exact. I will die on this hill. But there's a question of another siblings. And I really don't like the idea of them being all boys, so fuck it.

I want to use the names of mountains like most ppl do, so for now I have:

Togakushi (83 years before naruto birth) - died at 18 when madara was 11 

Kurohime (f) (81), died at 17, when Madara was 12

And at first, I thought of Togakushi being a boy, since, y'know he's supposed to be the true heir (tm) and stuff. But then my bestie was like "Hey, but what if Madara had only older sisters? Then yeah he can claim that he's the older brother, but not the oldest sibling, plus it can explain his misogyny" and it fucking blew my mind

So yeah, Madara will be the long awaited boy, so he was raised to think that being a boy is the fucking best and way cooler that girls and such. Yay misogyny let's go.

But he wasn't made an heir the second he came out of the womb, bc Tajima (who i think is an only child or his siblings died as well) wanted an heir fast and then he got Togakushi, so he might've raised her first daughter as the heir. Even though I hc Uchiha can be more traditional, like usually women don't get to be heirs and not get trained to be kunoichis, but I believe that in Tajima's reign their finance situation was bad and well, beggars can't be choosers and such.

So Togakushi was like the 'acting' heir, since many expected her then to settle down and get married and then let Madara be an heir, when he's a bit older. But oh well, girls all died fast, bc Butsuma wanted to get revenge bc of Kawarama's death

So Tajima was in love with Butsuma, but Butsuma got married* (year 85bnb), so Tajima got married himself (84 bnb) in hopes that Butsuma will be jealous too, but alas.

Then Tajima planned and killed his Hatake wife in revenge (he could do it only at year 72bnb, about a year after Itama and Tobirama were born, cuz she had a weak health after delivering twins + they were quite close after Kawarama's birth (i think april 74bnb, twins feb 73, its like about a month of recovery). before he fucking couldn't cuz she's a Hatake and she was strong).

After that Butsuma killed Tajima's wife (71, she was a civillain it was easy, Madara was 5, Izuna was 3).

Tajima send childkiller squad to kill Butsuma's kids so he got Kawarama (september year 65bnb, Kawarama was 9, Tobi and Itama 8 and Hashirama was 10 at the time (his birthday is 23/10))

Butsuma killed Togakushi in Senju-Uchiha fight and then ordered to kill Kurohime and Myoko on their mission (winter 65-64)

Hashirama and Madara meet at the river in April-May 64 bnb

*btw you might ask me, Umi, why Butsuma married a Hatake girl (i need a name for her damn it) at year 85 and then waited 9 years to get Hashirama (birth at 76 bnb)?

She's a Hatake from the main line who was married off in arranged marriage against her will. Against the whole Hatake clan's will honestly. I think Butsuma caught her in a marriage hunt (only Hatake clan tradition) bc elders thought that it would be nice to have this leverage against the Hatake clan, cuz Hatake then might cave in Senju's trade demands.

They did but the bride didn't fucking let Butsuma get close, even after marriage. She hated him. And soon Butsuma understood that until he gets his head out of his ass he won't get any heirs.

So yeah it took him 9 years to get on better tems with his wife and she finally let him have her children. I believe that bc before her death she was the one who took care of the kids, that's why Hashirama and Kawarama had a bit better time with their emotional growth and stuff. And bc she died a year after Tobirama and Itama's birth and the only parent is Butsuma now... well... it's not looking good for them huh.

It was also a big disappointment to her, bc Hashirama and Kawarama were full on Senju kids, while Tobirama and Itama were Hatakes to their cores and she spend so little time with them

REPLY OF THE ZAPOROZHIAN COSSACKS: Uuuuuuooo I’m pretty sure somebody has submitted the world famous Repin with the fella holding his dead son, and yeah that one is truly harrowing and I think it should be in the final bracket cause it would sweep but Repin has such a range and it’s all very deeply felt and sensitive stuff. For this one he did a couple of versions - you could pick either because they’re both rich in a really immediate sense of humanity. Again on the technical side this is a truly bonkers piece of work because he stitched its elements together from countless studies of people he knew and the result is still somehow a Realist masterpiece rather than the patchwork amalgamation you’d expect.

And each figure isn’t just irresistibly human - he gives all of them so much tangible warmth (the riotous laughter! The attention paid to detail in their clothes! The irritated dog in the bottom left corner) and the fact that theyre all his friends and colleagues is really charming. Dunno if its like “molten lava” kind of evocation of emotion but it certainly makes me feel something. ( @idiotpalespiral )

They are a big group of people that range from teenagers to adults and it’s very nice to see their dynamics as they all go through theater with different eyes, between those who have a long life in front of them and are excited to do something new, and those others who feel like they are too old for this but still do it regardless, and like the way friendships are born between those people who seem so different yet have some similarities some past memories they relate to, or also see the adults trying to be there for the younger members it’s very cute I swear. You see even if I ramble here it’s hard to explain because I would explain 6 whole years of lore but yeah overall is just a situation of, people who seem different but find similarities between one another and do their best to help who struggles and are all bond by one single aim which is bloom on stage!

These are 25 individuals that all come from completely different backgrounds, situations, and experiences that all happened to come together by chance, and formed a tight bond and family that cannot be replicated. Sakuya Sakuma, a young orphan boy who found refuge from his troubling homelife through theatre, found himself a home within this small run down theatre company, and found a family through the people in it. This isn’t a Headcanon, A3! Is a found family story. Sakuya views everyone there as a member of his family, and it’s not just him. Misumi Ikaruga, a man kicked out of his home for being “different” (cough Autistic cough), finally found a family that accepts and loves him unconditionally. Taichi Nanao had been taught that you need to always be fighting your way to the top, and whoever gets hurt along the way is nothing but a necessary casualty. So being able to find a place that is willing to work and rise with him, and care for him along the way… and the theres Azuma, a man so heavily affected by the trauma he experienced as a child, and yet has pushed it so far down to the point you wouldn’t even know it by looking at him. But here, this god who knows how old man finally found it, that home he has been searching for, and a place where he can finally break down his walls. Sure, one could argue a3! Is 4 different found families, but you would be wrong. Yes, each troupe is important, however would you then deny the importance of cross troupe relationships? The four leaders, who all encourage one another to do better, Tsuzuru and Kazunari, who allow one another to finally be honest about their feelings, Azami and Kumon who are the definition of “boys being boys”, Sakyo and Azuma, two adults who seem well past the years of found family, who found solace in one another. A3! Is about people of all ages coming together to be a family. It doesn’t matter who you are, or where you come from. You could be just a random college kid off the road, or a former international spy, that doesn’t matter. Mankai has a spot for you, where you will be loved, accepted, and cherished.

It's funny that their relationship is so romanticized. Whether by showrunners or even people in general.

Corlys and Rhaenys in the original material have a bigger age difference than Daemyra, yet no one talks about grooming.

Rhaenys, from what I remember, certainly chose Corlys, but Rhaenyra also chose Daemon and everyone prefers to say that she was groomed to want her sexy old uncle... 🙄

The fact is that, apart from this age difference, Corlys only wanted Rhaenys to be queen for her own person and the name of her house, let's be realistic. And in Fire and Blood, it was actually Laenor and not Rhaenys who was actually proposed to the throne with Viserys.

Unlike Daemon, Corlys has also always shown a genuine interest in the throne, whether in HOTD or Fire and Blood. This guy fights for power and always goes against his wife's wishes in general.

Yet they are supposedly a great relationship ? A great marriage of love ? A couple goal ? People's double standards are astounding to me.

I will add that Corlys, aged 60 in Fire and Blood, is having sex, from what I remember, with a girl under 16 or in that age range it seems to me. In any case, a close age that Rhaenys was when he married her at the time, showing that he has a type of age range for women, unlike Daemon who in Fire and Blood was with women of varying ages.

So basically the directors of HOTD said to themselves that Corlys and Rhaenys would make a superb love story ? WTF seriously ? They keep talking about Daemyra's age difference but obviously it's only a problem when it's them and not the others.

Actually, what I'm trying to say is that... most of the criticisms leveled at Daemon : Bad father, bad husbands, way too old for his ultimate wife, power-hungry, throne-seeking, loving the girls are rather young... Well it's actually Corlys who ticks all the boxes. Show and or Book.

Disclaimer: This is to note the discrepancy that fandom does when it tries to bring up age differences, how biased people are towards Daemon. You can look to la-pheacienne's notes about GRRM and age differences HERE, where we talk abt Doylist vs Watsonian readings of GRRM's storytelling and over age diff creepiness vs what story the dude is telling in-world.

It mimics how people will say "Targs are colonizers" and then they ignore what the Westerosi did to the giants and twstsote/children of the forest. There's a clear bias and lack of reading being done, because yeah I agree. Like, Corlys is an impressive man, but that has little to do with this conversation topic. (For all who don't know, Corlys was 37 when 16-yr old Rhaenys chose him as her husband; Rhaenyra was born in 97, Daemon in 81; RhaneysxCorlys has a 21 diff, Daemyra has a 16 diff)

In the show, it makes way less sense as to why Rhaenys & Corlys are together. I did a TikTok abt it, but here it is:

Rhaenys has constantly said that she considers a "good" leader AND [good] person to be one who goes out of their way to avoid violence, war, or great conflicts. Someone who takes measures to make sure their own actions do not lead to conflicts that may hurt even more than themselves. Even at the cost of one's own political advantages. She values what HotD has implied is "self-restraint" & defends Rhaenyra from Corlys' saying everything is her fault [specifically by reasoning that out of all the men who are there, Rhaenyra is the one who is trying to not go to war or any battle]. She is also supposed to care very much for her daughter, Laena, and her own grandchildren through her. Supposedly above Corlys' interests (episodes 6-7). Compare this to Corlys' self-interest evidenced by his pushing for a Velaryon-marriage through his 12 year old daughter & keeping Lucerys as his heir DESPITE the would-have-been-clear discontent from Vaemond abt the Driftmark succession PLUS how the Velaryon boys wete not his grandkids biologically AND Rhaenys advis[ing] him to name [their] granddaughters instead. With every value and action these two take for & against their family and against the other's desires….For what the HotD writers & whoever responsible wrote for these two…. Why do we believe that this ship is one of the best ones --or even makes logical sense-- to earn the reputation of being one of the best during this part of ASoIaF history?! The [show]relationship doesn't stand up on its own without the looks & performances of its actors. It also gets away with the nonsensical dynamic in two other things:

the constant defense of "two canons"

the many time jumps that remove any possibility for us or the writers to show us how these two actually like each other & continue to like each other

Once again, Daemon was never a good person, but he is also not what is depicted in HotD and grooming does not = DV. they are not the same, thus you do not have to include DV with grooming by saying it "eventually" happens with groomers. Espe when GRRM has a track record for just stating abuse when it happens (Jaehaerys with Alysanne, her pushed to keep giving birth; Robert Baratheon with Cersei):

He seemed amused. "Im Thor. Why don't I know you? You are stunning" He took your hand in his,holding it like you were a princess. 

You looked at him in awe. "Me? how about you? Don't you own a mirror, Mr. Price Charming?" Your response seemed to surprise him, confusion showing on his face. You were afraid that you had fucked up, but suddenly his face split into a smile and a hearty laughter filled your ears. 

"You are snappy! I like it!" You laughed to, realief washing over you. 

"so, Skatt, you wanna come play beer pong?" You simply nod and Thor pulls you along outside to play.

Beer pong was so fun, and when paired up with Thor, you won every round. The outside air turned moist and cold, so you all migrated indoors. It was getting late (or early) so it was only the "core" left. Bucky, Steve, Sam, Natasha, Wanda,Clint, Tony, Bruce, Thor and you. You are seated in the living room, most of you on the verge of sleep. You sat with Thor.

Suddenly you remembered Amanda. "Wow… she really just left me here" you mutter to yourself. The feeling of betrayal sneaks its way in.  

"What was that, Skatt?" Thor's voice is soft and sweet like honey. You turn to look at him,and let out a gasp as you realize that you are so close that you can feel his breath on your face. Staring into his eyes, you feel excitement and lust stirring in your belly. 

"um, well, yeah. I don't know if you remember but I came here with my 'friend' Amanda" Thor hums and wraps his arm over your shoulders and pulls you close. 

"And why is that important, Skatt?" You look at him, squinting your eyes. 

"you know what? It's not important at all." You lean into his embrace and you sit there in comfortable silence for a few minutes. The bad feeling just melts away, like an icecream in sunny weather.

Your voice cut through the silence.

"Thor? You keep calling me 'Skatt'... What does it mean?"

Thor cups your face and leans in. His nose brushes yours and his breath fan over your lips, he's so close - you can almost taste him.

"It means treasure or precious" he whispers before kissing you. 

The kiss is sweet, but quickly turns filthy and lustful. You break the kiss, but stays in Thors embrace.

We are onto s2! I’m excited this season has a plethora of goodies. Let’s get started on said goodness hehe

2x01 Impact

The episode starts off with a bang. Lucy is riding in the ambulance with Tim. I'm sure the paramedics didn’t fight her at all with joining him. Not like they could’ve stopped her anyway haha

Just when Lucy thought she could breathe Tim collapses. The amount of worry on her face as she watches him have a seizure…. Luckily it’s a reaction to vaccine and not the infection. It’s severe reaction though and he goes into anaphylactic shock. Lucy trying to keep it together as they rush him to the hospital.

They make it to the hospital when they find out there is one more terrorist waiting in the wings for them. The minute they pull in they start to shoot up the ambulance. Just like Lucy did for her dad in 1x17 not a second passes before Lucy is covering his body with her own. Willing to take bullets for him in order to protect him. God I love her. Doesn't hesitate for one second to be a human shield for Tim. My heart.

They’re all pinned down by this woman with her assault rifle. It's then Tim comes barreling out of the ambulance like the BAMF he is. Tim takes her ass out single handled. He asks Nolan if he is ok. Nolan says yeah he shouldn't have reloaded on the go. John asks him the same thing and his reply to Nolan is hilarious. 'Should've taken yesterday off' LOL I love it. Little humor to start the season.

We surge two weeks into the future after this. They’ve all taken their exams and Tim has had time to recover from his ordeal. They're all in roll call waiting for Grey. Lucy is asking how Tim is feeling. You can tell by his body posture how guarded he is with his answers. Just telling her he's ready to get back out there. Very reminiscent of early s1 Tim with her. We find out Lucy sent him food. (Of course she did. She’s an empathetic nurturing soul.) She cares about him so she’s going to take the steps to show that. Make him feel cared for. It's something that is very foreign to Tim and it shows.

For Tim he’s so used to carrying burdens alone, having to be second place no matter the relationship, being the protector not the protected, and being the one to take care of everyone and everything. He’s most definitely isn’t used to being taken care of. In walks Lucy Chen. Someone who lifts him up and wants to take care of him when he’s down. Like Lucy not knowing how to handle Tim’s compliments, Tim doesn’t know how to handle someone putting him first. Caring, protecting him etc.

Lucy is just so happy he is back you can see it on her face. She was hoping/expecting more of a nice reaction from him. Considering what they both just went through together. Throws her off when he doesn’t respond positively. He's currently doing a throwback to early closed off Tim and she isn't quite sure why.

Grey interrupts before Tim can reply and be any colder to her. He writes up their scores on the board. 97. 91. 81. Tells them they all passed but the 81 is ugly. Wants them to self reflect on which one is theirs. He will tell them by end of shift. He says good news is they all get to be out of long sleeves now.

They’re all discussing the scores naturally. Angela says he looks worried. Tim says he’s never had a rookie score as low as 81. She says first time for everything ha. Tim defends Lucy and says she���s a natural born test taker. No way she scored that low. He is sure it’s Nolan lmao Oh Tim your dislike of him amuses me so.

Lucy joins them in her short sleeves. Tim asks her what she’s doing? She seems so perplexed why he’s angry with her. She says Grey said they could switch over. Tim goes off on her and says she will wear her long sleeves and tie till end of probation. That he gets full discretion over her uniform cause she’s his boot. She walks away so sad and defeated. S1 Tim viscously rearing his head. The boys ask where she’s going when they pass her. She replies so sadly ‘To change back…’

They pull up to a park and get out of their shop. Tim tells her to stop pouting. Lucy bites back and says she isn’t. She then asks what they’re even doing here? Tim goes on to say if she thought it was going to get it easier after the exam she was wrong. Lucy is snarky in her reply ‘Awesome…’ She is already over his reversion back to early s1 hard ass. It's written all over her face.

He clearly heard her but asks what was that? She says nothing….Lucy knows its like poking an angry bear right now. So she avoids the conflict. (For now..) Tim asks her what the most important thing she needs on the street as a cop? Lucy runs through a list of things Tim doesn’t want as her answer haha Then settles on her judgement and Tim says no it’s her cop eyes. They're at this park for a Tim test. Clear he’s gonna be surly af for this one.

Tim asks her if she studied explosives in the academy? She says a little. Tells her he’s hidden a fake IED in the park for her to find. She has ten minutes to find it or he’s adding the duty hat to her uniform. Legit torturing her today with this test. Lucy starts to panic look through out the park.

She finds it in a barrel. Lucy is so proud of herself with this one. Tim is being an extra pain in the ass today. She’s so ready to prove him wrong. That him turning the heat extra high doesn’t affect her. She turns around and is all cocky saying she found it. Even those he's an absolute ass in this scene just like in the van scene in 1x14 looking fine as hell have to say. Especially way he puts his leg on that table. Its criminal you are this attractive Eric LOL

Tim pretends he can’t hear her. So she falls into his trap and uses her radio to tell him when the ‘bomb’ explodes on her. She is mortified and covered in flour. Tim continues the hard ass theme. Saying radios energy can set off a bomb. Ask her 'If she’s going to forget that lesson boot?' She replies No….Sigh poor Lucy. In his warpath this episode. She just can't figure out why.

Their next call brings them to a husband reporting his wife missing. Lucy feels bad for the guy and Tim doesn’t. Tells her Cop eyes again. Saying it’s always the husband who did it. Lucy once again snarky back asking if this is his first rule of domestics lol Tim is unchanging in his hard demeanor. Tells her it’s not a joke. That she’s too new to properly assess people yet. She should be showing suspicion not compassion as her default. Lucy looks annoyed as hell. Getting to her boiling point with his sour attitude.

Lucy’s irritation comes to a head when they return to the station. She asks him what he’s doing? Tim states the obvious and says clocking out and going home. She is more direct and asks why he is treating her like it’s day 1 all over again? He says because it is day one for her with phase 2 of her training. Lucy is further agitated. Asking if she’s lost all the respect she’s earned since then? Then Tim finally shows his hand on why he’s so angry. Tells her she lost that when she lied on a report.

It all comes together for Lucy. This is why he’s been such a grumpy bear all day. She finally understands why he’s been such a hard ass. Her reaction is incredulous. She’s honestly shocked he’s reacting this way. Lucy thought it was pretty obvious her actions were to protect him. Tim rattles on about procedure and code. How she should’ve reported him. She truly doesn’t understand why he’s mad at her for protecting him.

The look on Tim’s face in the second gif. He looks in shock Lucy did that for him. He’s so caught up on her lying on a report he didn’t stop to think she was doing it to protect him. Oh my broken baby. As I stated earlier he’s not used to being the protected. It was Lucy’s first and only instinct to edit that part out to safeguard him. To me this is the most tragic part of it all. Is he NEVER expected this from her. When he read that report all he saw was her not following procedure. Instead of what it really was...Which was her shielding him. Deep down I think part of him knew this but he couldn't accept it hence him lashing out like he is.

Lucy goes on to explain why she protected him. Because Tim clearly isn't understanding why she did it. How she knew Tim wasn’t really suicidal. He just needed to vent his stress and anxiety to her in that moment. That she didn’t want him to have to go through unnecessary therapy. To lose him as her T.O. over something that could hurt his career and their time together. Tim regains some of his composure and goes back to the company line BS. Saying how it wasn’t her call to make. That everyone should be reported consequences or not. Now here comes the best part of this entire scene. Of the episode really IMO.

Lucy destroys him with her reply. This is one of the reasons Tim falls so hard for her. The fact that she calls him on his shit. Not only does that but pulls his head out of his ass. Then promptly hands it back to him on a silver platter with her Isabel retort. She owns this scene after this. What's so damn impressive is Lucy can go toe to toe with him and win. She challenges him in a way no one has before and puts him in place when he needs it.

And he very much needs it in this moment. That final gif is his realization of that. Lucy delivers her K.O. punch and leaves him standing there with regrets about his behavior. He has no leg to stand on after she eviscerates him with her comments. Telling him not to hang his anger on his ‘code’ when it’s clearly not about that. Her calling him out and rightfully so like she did back in 1x03. When he was putting her in harms way as his therapy about Isabel.

Lucy tells him the hard stuff when he needs to hear it most. You know I love my Tim but hot damn did he need this Lucy knockdown. He admires her for it even when it’s hard for him to swallow. The way he just stands there it’s hitting him he took this reaction way too far. He’s forgetting how stressful that entire situation was for her as well. This ass chewing he just got is a stark realization of that. Also you know part of that chemistry of theirs is scenes like this. That fire and passion between them both. Ooh lord I love it.

Grey reveals their scores. We find out Lucy got a 91. She is immensely relieved and Tim is smiling ear to ear. Tim is good at burying a lot of things, being proud of Lucy has never been one of them. Look at this man beaming for her. He knew she would get a high score. He couldn’t be happier about it. Written all over his body language I love it sfm. I keep saying Eric is amazing with expressing so much with just a look. Its because he is look at that man. Pride x1000 in his girl.

The cute proud husband theme continues. Lucy spots a fake cop in the parking garage stealing a radio. She chases him out of there and jumps a wall in order to pursue him. I LOVE Tim asking if she’s okay first thing. It’s the softness in his voice that gets me. She is smiling and says yeah. Lucy is first beaming cause Grey seems impressed with her.

Then more so when Tim does his version of being proud of her. She rolls her eyes a bit but you know she’s happy to have him singing her praises. He could not be prouder of her if he tried in his scene. Anytime she does exactly what he knows she capable of he is elated. Also being proud in front of Grey is even better for Lucy. This is big brag for Tim about her. ❤️

Later on they figure out one of the fake cops leads them to the wife that went missing. Lucy asks if Nolan needs backup they say no. Lucy can’t help herself and takes a little dig at Tim. She has the high ground atm and knows it. Throwing the husband comment back at him. Tim doesn’t even reply. Just has a small smirk on his face. You know he loves her pushing his buttons and giving him crap. They aren’t at the point of apologies just yet. This is as close as we’re getting for them right now. It’s pretty cute.

Their final scene is them working in harmony like they do. Taking down the fake cops for the most part on their own. I love watching them work in the field. They’re so fluid and move without issue. That silent communication and such. Poetry in motion I would say.

Thus ends the Chenford portion of the S2 premiere.

The opening scene for Wopez always cracks me up. Wes seeing a side of Angela he hasn’t before. Her messy side. Him finding the sandwich in the shower LOL His face kills me he’s so grossed out and she thinks it’s natural af hahaha They cute.

I think that Akane died when she was 16, she didn't look a lot older than that.

Since she is 6 years older than Koko and Inupi, it mean that they would have been 11 for Koko and still 10 for Inupi, at the moment of the fire, few days before Inupi's 11th birthday.

Because if Koko was 12 and Inupi 11 (or already 12), Akane would have been 18. So almost adult. And she doesn't look like a adult.

So i bet that she was 16/17, second or last year of high school, and that the boys were 11 for Koko, et almost 11 for Inupi. And they had still a year to do in elementary school.

Akane stayed in coma for few weeks, months. Inupi had already his short hair that he had in Shinichiro's ship when Izana visited him, Inupi and Koko had already grow up to look more like teen than that children. I think that they had already started their last years in school for some weeks when Akane died.

Koko was just a kid, he didn't manage to have enough money to help Akane in a so short period of time but he had enough time to get a reputation and having still a lot of money

But It couldn't have been only few weeks. It must have lasted for few months, maybe 6 months. Inupi has just a shirt when he call Koko to tell him, so it was warmer outside. Maybe it was summer or end of spring.

After that, Inupi was in 8th Black Dragon, then in 9th Black Dragon, then send in juivie.

Inupi is older than Mikey for a year. He was 13 when Mikey was 12. When Mikey beats the Black Dragon, it was almost his 13th birthday. And Inupi was in juivie at this moment. We don't know the date of his liberation but it was after Shinichiro's death, so after Mikey's birthday. He was 14 at this point. 16 in the BD Arc. and 18 in Mabu Arc.

So he must have been almost 11 when the fire happened, had spent his birthday at the hospital and Akane "survived" for at least 6 months, while Inupi was in his last elementary school year. Inupi has been send in juivie during his first year of middle scool and got released during his second year. But it must been less of a year in reform school.

Koko is few months older than Inupi, since he's born in April. But they are in the same year. So Koko was already 11 when the fire happened.

Inupi is born on October 18 1989, while Koko on April 1, 1990, but they're in the same year at school because of how the Japanese scholastic system works (there was a typo in the first character book, the official twitter made a post to confirm that). Inupi, Koko and Taiju are all in the same scholastic year. If Koko were born on April 2, then he would have been a year younger! (school years start on April 1 and ends in March and kids has to be 6 already to start school, they cannot be, let's say 5 and 364 days old lol, at least, this is what I understand, this system is a little tricky for me, it's very different from the one used where i live lol)

We don't know exactly when the fire happens, but since they have long sleeves with no coat it's probably autumn or spring. And unfortunately we don't even know how long she stayed in coma, but i agree some months could have passed. Here Koko says 1 month was passed since the fire (ch.159)

so either she dies after 1 month of coma (and in the meanwhile Inupi also gets out of the hospital), or some generic amount of time passed, no more than a few months tho. I agree with you, I feel some months should have had passed in order for Koko to start making some money

Sooo I don't know if someone already talked about it but...

Have you ever noticed the similarity between Armand and Gian Giacomo Caprotti, aka il Salaì (1), favourite pupil and (almost surely) lover of Leonardo da Vinci?

If not, here some basic infos:

He was born in 1480 near Milan, we know it because we have Leonardo's diary saying that Giacomo joined his bottega in 1490, "when he was ten" (2);

He was nicknamed "Salaì" ("devil") because he was, apparently, quite a pest :)))). He was, in Leonardo's words, "a thief, a liar, stubborn, and gluttonous";

Leonardo was born in 1452, which makes him 38 years old when Giacomo joined his household (yes, the age gap);

Salaì stayed with Leonardo almost till his death and was the model for many some of his paintings and sketches (3), some of which are erotic ones;

In 1523 he married a woman called Bianca Coldirodi d'Annono.

Last but not least, Salaì looked like THIS

This is a portrait made by another (anonymous) pupil of Leonardo.

I MEAN.

He was the model for the painting Saint John the Baptist by Leonardo (on the internet, you can easily find the NSFW sketch for this painting so... yeah).

So if we look at Armand's backstory (at least, the one set in Venice with Marius), I think it's pretty easy to see the similarities:

Armand states in The Vampire Armand that he was born around 1480-81;

He was (and continue to be) a pest *affectionate*

He has a relationship with Bianca;

Marius is very Leonardo-coded for many reasons (age-gap aside, I'm really talking about his personality and attitude);

I don't think I have to comment on the features of Salaì, do I?

In conclusion, I don't think any of it is random. Anne was a fan of Reinassance Italy, I'm pretty sure she did read something about Salai and Leonardo and decided to use it in her books.

Notes

Shortcut for "Sala[d]ino" which means "Saladin" but was used at the time to say "devil" because... well, period typical islamophobia. But you have to admit, the fact that his nickname was Devil, is something.

The Italian Wiki also gives a birth date: 27th December but I don't know the source (however, this is really funny to me because I've always headcanoned Armand as a Capricorn).

There is also this theory according to which he was the model for the Mona Lisa, since, yes, Salaì did actually modelled for paintings of women.
