"hey can you sit there for a second?"
You blinked. "Chan?"
"No, no just like that."
You just tilted your head curiously as your boyfriend got up, phone in hand, and arranged your drinks on the table. You had been waiting for his friends for a few minutes, having volunteered to grab everyone a table as an excuse to break off from their shopping expedition.
It had been fun but you were exhausted from roaming the mall all day. You'd left Mingyu, Minghao and Jeonghan arguing over which colour suited Gyu the best. The other two had made good points but Mingyu's whining had, bless his heart, started doing your head in.
Chan hadn't hesitated to make excuses and whisk you both away the minute you tugged on the sleeve of his leather jacket. You'd run into Seungcheol and Vernon on your way to get a cold drink and offered to find a restaurant that could seat you all for dinner while everyone else wrapped up their day.
You assumed Chan was just bored until you saw him lean across the table, getting a better angle as he snapped photo after photo.
"babe!"
Your whining only made his smile wider. "Oh come on, just a few more? You look so cute like that."
You sighed but posed the way he asked because how could you say no when he made those puppy eyes at you? He was too cute when he smiled like this. There wasn't much you wouldn't do to keep him happy like this.
You shook your head as he resumed his seat beside you, arm slung over the back of your chair. "You're such a loser."
He pouted at you. "Yeah, but I'm your loser. Right?"
You blinked at him.
He whined. "Babe! Come on!"
You just cupped his face in one hand and leaned up to press a kiss to his pout. "Yes Channie, you're my loser and I love you very much baby."
He huffs but his expression softens when you move to rest your head on his shoulder. You reach over to hold his hand and he lifts it to his lips, pausing to sniff at your wrist.
"Are you wearing a new perfume?"
You hum softly. "Mm, the one Kwan and Nonie got me for Christmas. What do you think?"
He considers for a second before lifting your wrist back to his nose. You watch as he genuinely contemplates it. You know whether the answer is yes or no it's going to be a hundred and ten percent honest. And delivered so purposefully in a way that he thinks, or hopes, won't hurt your feelings.
He's saved from answering when the waiter comes over with your waters. You don't even get to finish thanking him before Chan is pressing a glass into your hand.
"Do you want anything else while we wait for the hyungs?"
You scanned the menu and he caught your indecision. "I kind of want to try this drink but I can't decide which one."
He turns to the waiter. "We'll get one of each please."
You open your mouth to protest. He frowns at you.
"Babe, we'll try them both and if you don't like them I'll finish them for you."
You want to tell him he's being ridiculous. You want to kiss him. You do neither, squeezing his hand instead.
"Have I said I love you yet?"
"Yes, but can you say it again?"
You laugh and kiss the back of his hand. "I love you Lee Chan."
"I love you too princess."

❝𝙑𝙄𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉❞
➤ ACT I. | CHAPTER III.
➤ FLOWER CROWNS
Tumblr media
“White Lily Cookie! His majesty told us about your awakening!” Silverbell beamed with excitement upon hearing the news. “Are you ok? How are you feeling?!”
“Silverbell Cookie. Sorry, I'm still trying to get used to this.” White Lily Cookie frowned.
The silver haired male nodded with understanding, “It’s ok. We'll leave you alone to catch your breath. You can call me whenever you need me.”
“Thank you…” White Lily nodded with a soft smile on her face. Silverbell gives the female a grin before leaving her with her thoughts. White Lily’s smile turned upside, replacing it with a frown. She gripped on the railing of the bridge and looked down at her reflection in the water.
“Dark Enchantress Cookie is still out there…So, why am I here…?” White Lily whispered. “My soul jam…they're gone. If I remember correctly, they were scattered into pieces. Some pieces of my memories are still blurry.”
“...” The white haired female then looked up at the night sky, “I wonder…”
White Lily Cookie stares at the moon that appears to never be a full moon. It's just a crescent moon. Why? It never seems to show the full moon for a long time now. However, White Lily remembers reading in the book that the moon was broken by a cookie with a work of dark magic that no other had seen before.
There's these times when a blood moon appears once a year. White Lily always witnessed it when she had the time just to study about it and the cookie responsible for it. However, she was forbidden to learn any further because of risk.
But the moon doesn't matter anymore. It's [Y] she's wondering about. Someone who has awakened her with the work of his magic and life jam. The magic aura surrounding him is a familiar feeling. She never encountered this sort of magic, but it gives her a feeling that she has met him before…or did she?
❝i envy you…white lily cookie…❞
White Lily gasped at the unsettled voice echoed in her head. She then jumps when she hears someone approaching her. It was [Y], who happened to arrive at the bridge.
“Oh, it's you. Shouldn't you be with Elder Faerie?” White Lily asked.
“Ah. Elder Faerie has important matters to attend to. We'll have a tour another time. I've come here to explore the kingdom myself until I've found you here.” [Y] said. “Am I interrupting something? Hope I'm not disturbing you or anything.”
“...N…no. I was just deep in thought…” White Lily mumbled before turning back at the water.
“Oh, then I'll leave you to it, then.” The taller male said as he was about to walk away.
“Um…About that life stone you're carrying…” The white haired female spoke, stopping the male mid-step. “How does it work?”
“The life stone? Oh, they keep me alive. Millennial Tree found me and revived me with the help of this stone.” [Y] explained. “If it was to be shattered, then I'll crumble. I don't remember much after I was given a new life under a new name.”
“A life stone that kept you alive? I never thought something like this could work on a cookie…” White Lily blinked owlishly. “What is it like to carry a life stone attached to your body?”
“Not sure, but it felt great. Without the life stone, I wouldn't be able to see the world.” [Y] smiled gently. “Giving a second chance to life felt great. Learning magic, making both animal and cookie friends alike, and learning things that I've never experienced before. There's so much to learn about.”
“...I hope you won't suffer a similar fate like I did.” The white haired female muttered. The taller male wasn't able to hear it, “Huh? Did you say something?”
“It's nothing…” The white haired female frowned before looking back at the water.
“Say…what are you gonna do now that you're awake..?” The taller male asked.
“...I’m not sure. I think I should stay here to clear my thoughts. I don't think I'm prepared to go face-to-face with my friends, wherever they are…” White Lily said.
“Take your time. It will take some time to be able to open up to others once again.” [Y] stated as butterflies started flying around him. “How about we hangout? We'll see what can help you with stress.”
“...You are so kind…You reminded me of Pure Vanilla Cookie…” White Lily mumbled.
“...?”
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·
Elder Faerie frowned at the news he just received, the flower was getting more and more aggressive. It wasn't like this until [Y] arrived at the Faerie Kingdom. The flower was trying to escape. Elder Faerie knew it was trying to escape to its master.
“It's getting worse and worse. We don't know how to silence it any longer…!” One of the faeries whined.
Elder Faerie wanted to test this theory. He spotted [Y] with White Lily and grabbed the sealed flower then faced it towards the [h] haired male. To his surprise, the flower stopped.
“I see. So, it wanted to return to their master…” Elder Faerie mumbled.
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·
White Lily seated at the garden a few inches away from [Y]. She watches as the taller male tries to create a flower crown while being surrounded by animals.
“I've heard that flower crowns symbolize peace, so I thought it might help you to relax in peace.” [Y] stated while holding a flower crown made out of white lilies. “With white lilies symbolizing purity. What do you think?”
“...I think it's lovely…” White Lily smiled softly. [Y] doesn't know whether it's a forced smile or not. He offered the crown to White Lily and placed it on her head. He then smiles genuinely, “It looks great on you. It suits you. You look like a beautiful queen.”
The female blushes at the compliment, “...I…I don't consider myself as a queen.”
“I'm sure you'll make a great queen for the Faerie Kingdom. You put up so much effort in sealing the silver tree.” The taller male stated. “The faeries here look up to you because of your heroic act.”
“They do, don't they?” White Lily mumbled. [Y] nodded, “They sang a song for you while you were asleep to show their gratitude. You should at least be happy that you're still being accepted by them even after what you've done.”
“...Do you really think I can still undo what I've done?” White Lily asked.
“That's something I'm not sure about, but hope you'll be able to find a solution to that…” [Y] replied. “Just don't be hard on yourself. Overthinking things isn't good. It'll cause more stress, you know?”
“He's too kind. Just like Pure Vanilla Cookie. I hope he's safe…” White Lily thought.

#currently on the worst road trip of my whole entire life! well. i don't want to jinx it lmao but#today i popped TWO TIRES at once in the middle of the Katy Freeway in Houston TX (the widest highway in the US; 26 lanes btw)#managed to make it over to the shoulder without DYING but then had to sit there for like an hour? and panic called a tow truck because duh#I know how to change a tire but I was – again – sitting on the shoulder of the widest freeway on the continent so#anyway I called a tow; a guy showed up. I assumed it was the tow! turned out it was not. but he helped me put on the spare and then was lik#“follow me to my shop I can do the tires for you” and I was like okay! 👍 but then the ACTUAL tow called me and I realized this was#just a random guy (very nice up to that point but then I got scared about following him to a secondary location?) and so I didn't lmao#I just kept driving and didn't follow him but the guy on the phone was then mad at me because I wasn't where I said I would be because#AGAIN – I thought the original guy WAS the tow company that I called? but anyway guy 2 on the phone was like “YOU OWE ME $200!!!!”#and I said for what? also how would I pay you? and he tried to get me to cash app him lmao?? I didn't. I hung up on him#he called me like 6 more times yelling at me until I finally just blocked his number 💀#however NOW at this point I'm driving on one spare tire and one rapidly-flattening second tire and I still have 3 hours left to get where#I was going for the night and to top it all off I'm in the middle of a city I've only been to one time before? so I manage to get to a hote#like a nice-ish one where I'm like “okay if I get stuck here this won't be the end of the world”#because keep in mind today is a national holiday so basically everything is closed!!!! btw!!!!!#but eventually I'm sitting there and it's literally 100F outside and I remember oh right lol I have car insurance which pays for a tow#(a normal one; not a random one I panic-found on google who calls me screaming at me to cash app him $200)#so anyway I call my insurance and the guy on the phone is very nice and is like “it's okay; we'll have someone to you in 45 min”#and I'm like okay. OKAY. 🙌💪 I am a strong independent woman who is figuring this out and no longer on the side of the highway#but instead in a nice calm neighborhood and all I have to do is wait 45 min and everything will be okay#one hour goes by. I call back. get redirected to the tow company that was dispatched. guy says oh! is my guy not there yet?#I say no. he says okay – I'll have him call you. hangs up.#okay. 20 more min go by. guy finally calls me. says “I'm 20-25 min away” at this point I've been waiting about an hour and a half#I say. okay? okay. 30 more minutes go by. I try to call the guy back. straight to voicemail. three more calls. three more no answers.#I call my insurance back. sit on hold for 15 min. eventually get put through to a different person who's like “okay let me check on him”#get put on hold. eventually she comes back and says “okay he says 15 minutes” I've been waiting over 2 hours at this point. I have to PEE#I just... burst into tears. on the phone with this poor random woman from Geico Insurance. I'm bawling my eyes out.#she was trying to get claim info from me but I'm crying so hard she's like “oh baby no. okay. okay. we can get that from you tomorrow.”#when you cry so hard that even the insurance company is like “you know what we're just going to let this one slide”#anyway guy eventually shows up. he's very nice even though I hate him a little for being so late. he drives me to an OPEN TIRE SHOP

#the problem with writing an old mond fic that I'm trying to explore Topics with is#it has dwelved from 'I want to write about why Amos stuck with Deca for so long and the messed up love between them'#to. oh boy. googling the life of the last emperor of china of which I am morbidly facinated with.#(terrible spineless self centered coward of a guy. treated as god since age 4)#(but also general chinese emperors and royalty who all really sucked and basing deca and amos both on a lot of that)#to general little morality things bc. its a story of how amos was complicit/supportive of terrible things under deca but still joined rebel#to. reading about the causes of revolutions???? and writing that into old mond's inherit instability and why nb's revolution worked#into now. attitudes on the ethics meat consumption of bc amos is a hunter who grew up outside of old mond and its culture#and forced into old mond's culture (<- my backstory for her)#which also has implications of Amos having to struggle to reconcile her heritage culture with the one she has to live in now#........and though it I keep forgetting that the initial thing I wanted to explore is deca/amos Problematic(tm) love#which means the plot is now a dredged down mess I'll have to fix in a second draft#......uh for anyone who thinks this sounds interesting. no promises on it actually getting finished or being good#this has spirled way out of control from its initial inception#but ya know all art has a political slant to it and boy nothing says political like 'story about revolution' so we'll see how this all goes#(this is also why I don't write fic or stories often lol I take its ideas too seriously and it completely consumes me until I finish it)#personal //

Miami Hot Lap (CL)
Summary: You're forced to do a Miami Hot Lap with your boyfriend.
Warning(s): Just fluff.
A/N: Ahh I love this concept!! Requests are open for Charles and Lando.
Word Count: 800+
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Being invited to an F1 race through a brand seemed like a fun idea at first. You would get to see your boyfriend for the first time in weeks, watch the race in your hometown, and somehow still be able to call it work. It was a win-win situation.
That was until they approached you with a video idea.
"So since you're working with one of our sponsored brands for the weekend, a Miami native, and dating a driver, we thought it was only fair to ask you to do the Miami hot lap video." The F1 content manager explained.
"Miami hot lap?" You questioned, unfamiliar with what they wanted you to do.
"Yeah y'know just go for a few laps on the track with a driver. For you, it would be Charles of course." She assured.
You shook your head rapidly, shrinking back, "No thank you. I don't drive with Charles."
"But he's your boyfriend? Surely you've driven with him before?"
You sighed, "Yeah in a city, where he's forced to follow the speed limit, I would never be able to handle going that fast. He's too scary without restrictions."
She furrowed her eyebrows, opening her mouth to respond before she was cut off.
"Spreading lies about me again?"
You felt your lips upturn in a smile as he came up behind you, fingers entwining with yours as he kissed your cheek.
You turned to face him, attempting to be firm, "I love you, but I'm not driving with you." You repeated.
One hour later you found yourself being strapped into the passenger seat of his car, cursing yourself for giving in after he convinced you it wouldn't be that bad.
The camera sat on the dashboard, recording the both of you.
"Go slow," You warned, as he got the green light to pull away.
"We'll get no views then." He argued.
You started at him in disbelief, "Would you rather have more views on a video or have a girlfriend in one piece?"
It was quiet for a beat too long and you put your hand up, "You know what don't answer that. I don't want to know."
"So how do you like driving with me so far?" He asked once you made it past the first lap.
You nodded, "Not bad, right now I feel like we're going to get food."
He smirked, "Well in that case go on and get comfortable."
You eyed him skeptically but you decided to trust him, "Okaaay," you dragged out the word as you slouched a bit more in the seat, letting your body relax against the seat, going as far as to admire the view outside the window.
The peace only lasted for a second before Charles was slamming on the pedal, sending the car lurching forward at record speeds.
While he got a shot of adrenaline, you felt your stomach somersault as your body jolted backward.
“Charles. Charles!!” Your voice filled with panic, fingers grabbing onto the side of the car for dear life, eyes wide as you refused to take your eyes off the rapidly passing road in front of you.
He laughed at your reaction, only stopping once he realized how serious you were. He dropped a hand down to squeeze yours, reassuring you, “Relax I won’t let anything happen to you.”
The supposedly sweet action had the opposite effect, “Keep both your hands on the wheel!” You shrieked, sending him into another fit of laughter.
You put a hand to your forehead in shock and disbelief, "We're going to die."
You felt hysterical, and his shit-eating grin only irked you further.
"We're not going to die. I promise." He swore, trying to calm you down.
You shoved his shoulder, "Your promises mean nothing to me anymore Charles. We're going to die and it's all your fault." you deadpanned.
“Y/n amor I’m barely pushing 90 mph.” He revealed.
Your body froze, before finally losing some tension, “Oh."
You checked the meter seeing that he was telling the truth, "It feels a lot faster,” you argued, “Especially with the sharp turns," you elaborated.
He agreed with you but not before side-eyeing you, "Right."
"So should we go faster?" He proposed.
"Charles," You warned.
"Why so formal?"
You glanced at each other for a second and already knew what would happen from the unfiltered excitement in his eyes, "Hold on amour."
You watched in horror as the meter rapidly rose hitting up to 130mph, you mouthed a "help me" to the camera.
“I think I’m gonna throw up everywhere.” You groaned once the car had finally come to a halt.
Charles patted your head affectionately as you laid your head against your knees, “You’ll be ok.”
“No. I’m going to projectile vomit on this dashboard,” you warned, “I’m never driving with you again.”
He furrowed his eyebrows at your comment but didn't say anything, instead facing the camera.
"Well thanks for joining us today, if you want more videos like this-"
You lifted your head off your knees when you noticed he hadn't finished his sentence, finding him staring at you expectedly.
"Like and subscribe?" you questioned, voice hoarse.
"Exactly. See you guys later!" He waved bye to the camera and moved your head to lay on his lap so you could rest.

Here's every version of the letter the Inquisitor gets from their LI plus Varric (which didn't make me cry at all)
If your Inky didn't romance anyone:
Inquisitor, Greetings from miserable, rainy Minrathous! (Don't tell Dorian I called it that.) The rotten weather here is making me nostalgic for Skyhold. The mountains were freezing, but at least the air didn't smell like wet garbage. We'll have to get in another game of Wicked Grace, soon. Harding picked up the trail again. I'd tell you not to worry, but I know how useless that is. Instead, I'll just say: I've got a great team on this. Neve could stare down the Maker, and wait until you meet Rook. He's/She's/They're a natural: Smart, resourceful, completely unpredictable. You'd like him/her/them, as long as you don't try to beat him/her/them at cards. Chuckles'll never know what hit him. I'll write again once we have something solid for you. Drinks at the Hanged Man are on me when this is over. Take care of yourself. Varric
Blackwall:
My love, You have summoned me to Minrathous, and I will answer your call, as soon as responsibilities here in the South allow. I have missed being by your side. Will these troubles be the last we face? The world seems always to conspire, through duty or disaster, to pull you away from me. I do not resent it. You are dedicated to purposes far larger and more significant than myself. I hope you do not think me a fool for hoping that one day, your only concern will be the color you wish our walls to be painted, or the flowers we will plant beside our gate. I'm partial to carnations. Yours always, Thom
Cassandra:
My love, We are no strangers to duty, or the separation it demands of us. You head for Tevinter, and though I want to go with you, there is work we both must do. I will not falter in the tasks that wait before me and I pray my actions, in whatever measure they can, will keep you safe. The others see only confidence in my resolve, but you have always known more than mere appearance. I confess to you, and you alone, that I am afraid. I'm afraid of what may happen, that Thedas will face such turmoil as it did before. I know not what awaits us. Yet even in the face of uncertainty, there are two things I cannot doubt and never will. The first is that our paths are never separated long. That I will find you at my side when I need you, as you will find me at yours. I will play my part in this and follow as soon as I can. The second thing I never doubt is you. Whatever lies before you, trust yourself. Trust your heart as I trust it. It will not lead you astray. Yours, Cassandra
Cullen:
The top of the letter has been punctured by small, sharp teeth, leaving most of a beloved name and a few sentences chewed to read. I fear the puppy started on this letter shortly after I did. I'd start over, but I must send this tonight if it's to reach you. Matters are settled here and I make for Tevinter as soon as possible. I almost believed chaos might spare us this time. I can't say I wished to see Minrathous before now, but I am eager to see you. I long to see your face and know that you are all right. You are I've There's I wish I was better at putting into writing all that's in my mind. For now, simply know that I love you. It is the most cherished constant of my life. The days ahead will not be easy. I know there's much you carry, more than many realize. But whatever you must face, you will not meet it alone. You have my sword, my counsel, my - I could write this list forever when all I mean to say is this - Whatever you need of me, I am yours. Cullen
Dorian:
Amatus, I'm writing. Again. Yes, the sending crystals still work and yes, you'll be in Minrathous in a few short weeks. But a letter, written in blind longing, is real. It can be touched, and it can be held, when ink and paper must substitute for your skin on mine and my breath in your ear. I used to scoff at frequent declarations of affection. Trite, I thought. Save them for rare and precious moments. But time and love are no longer things I care to squander, especially not as we race again toward calamity. And so, in each of these fleeting, ephemeral seconds, I will tell you that I love you. Whether penned or spoken, or conveyed by glance or action, I love you. In this moment, and in all the moments to come, for as long as they do, I love you. I will find you soon. Yours, Dorian
Iron Bull
Hey, Kadan, Not the first time we've marched toward different battles. I know you're keeping the crap from catching fire up in Tevinter. Wish I could be there, but I'll make sure there's a world for you to come back to when you're done dealing with crazy vints and stupid Antaam and whatever other crap Solas kicked up. (Shit, the Antaam. Remember when I was worried what would happen if I went tal-vashoth? That right there!) I know you're gonna be careful, and you've got Morrigan there. Just take care of yourself. If anything happens to you, I'm going to have to take Krem and the Chargers and stomp across all of Tevinter to come get you. It'll be a whole thing, and you know it'll upset Dorian. Being apart from you made me realize something else. I spent so long being whatever the Ben-Hassrath wanted me to be. An investigator. An agent. A mercenary sending reports. These past years, since the Inquisition ended, I've been able to just be what I want to be. And what I really want to be is yours. I like the person I am when I'm with you. So come back safe. Love, The signature appears to be a stylized rendering of the Iron Bull's head.
Josephine:
My Dearest Lord/Lady, I have spoken to friends in Minrathous. They offer us their hospitality, not to mention shelter from the worst intrigues of the Archon's Palace. While you're well acquainted with the roving eyes of grand courts, please take care. Tevinter's regard can be the oldest and cruelest of them all. The family writes the weather back home is beautiful. I do miss our quiet times together. There is a question I've wanted to ask you for so long. I would like to pretend I have been busy, or it was not the proper time. But, if I am being honest, I only waited because I have been afraid of choosing a poor moment. Please, let me make a promise to you here. When we return to Antiva, I will ask you, on the steps of the estate, if you will do me a great honor. And I dream you will say yes. Always yours, Josephine Postscript: I cannot believe it nearly slipped my mind. Yvette and Lord Otranto send their best wishes, and hope to see us back home in time to welcome their third child.
Sera:
(An artistically doodled journal page presumably from the Inquisitor's partner, Sera.) Keep this as close as I need you. (A drawing of a pile of flowers, with lines like it's moving, an arrow pointing to it labeled "us.") - North again, Mini-wrathus still stuck up its own pucker. - Magiturds are scared of us. They don't even know. - We work with Maevaris, right? She's wow. - So many Friends! Jennies in all the walls! - We kill him this time. He took from us twice! (A drawing of a cracked egg scribbled out, with "can't even joke" in letters that tore the page.) - Still thinking of you sideways. - Never mind the Dalish, here's the Veil Jumpers! Tempest-kin! (A drawing of a tall, shorthaired elf (Sera?) and Irelin brandishing two fingers, backflipping as a tree explodes in runes.) - The memory thing makes my head spin. If that Rook doesn't take it, throw it out. - Tell Morrigan ppbbth! for me. - I'll also tell her ppbbth! She knows why. - Tell them to Stripe. Him. Up. I wanted more books. (More heavy scribbles that tear.) - You meet; I'll keep you safe. Then I'm your time off, and you're my time on. (The last section has different colored inks, like Sera has returned to it several times.) New naked names: -Sweet-tits (scribbled out) -Bestest (scribbled out) -Loverly (scribbled out) -Lovey (scribbled out) -My-for-always-and-ever - name's not too long, time's too short. -But "Sweet-tits," though (scribbled out)
Solas:
Vhenan, I do not know if you will see these words. My ritual is ready and will soon be set in motion. Perhaps when you read this the world will be as it once was, and you will see why all I did was necessary. I cannot ask your forgiveness, but I hope you come to understand. That night in Crestwood, when I shared the truth about your vallaslin... you do not know how close I came to breaking. I could have shared the truth, or even put my plans aside and simply stayed with you as Solas... as I wanted. I regret the pain I caused you. What I feel for you will never change. The note is unsigned, but the handwriting is Solas'.

“stay quiet, дорогая (dear). if they notice, i’ll stop, and you wouldn’t want that, right?”
that might be the last coherent thing you hear before fyodor starts his meeting with nikolai and sigma. you’re face-down on the cold, rough metallic table, wobbling body pressed between him and the edge, feeling a familiar, simmering need flooding through your senses. three agonising months of work have kept him busy, and you’ve missed him terribly. so, if this is the closest you can get to feeling him? then fucking be it.
you grind your bare folds against his clothed bulge, the friction sending your whole body numb with pleasure. it feels too good, almost overwhelming, and you can’t hold back the quiet whine that escapes your lips.
“...we'll need a distraction, something to divert their attention while nikolai can execute our plan.” the russian states calmly as if your pussy is not soaking the hell out of the fabric of his trousers at this very moment. honestly, you can't fathom how he maintains such composure while you squirm beneath him, desperately trying to stretch out the pleasure that’s building quickly in your lower belly. maybe you can hold out until the meeting is over.
you’re doing your utmost to hang in there.
“the weretiger is an easy target...”nikolai exclaims, on the other hand, sigma is already rolling his eyes in boredom, clearly frustrated that they still haven’t addressed his casino issues yet.
you squeeze your eyes shut trying to drown out their conversation, focusing solely on the one command fyodor has given you: “don’t cum until I say so.”
such a cruel man he is. why? because he's slowly grinding his hips back against you, he knows that you're desperately close, it's in his nature to push all the right buttons, only to leave you mourning the loss of his touch afterwards.
you do your best to stifle a moan, but a soft whimper slips past your lips instead.
his slender fingers tighten in your hair, tugging just enough to make you tilt your head back, forcing you to meet his devilish gaze as he shoots you a warning glance, seeing you nod obediently, trying to stifle the needy whimpers that escape as you force yourself to slow down, biting your lip to keep quiet.
“their unity is what gives them strength; without it, they're weak,” fyodor continues, his left hand tightens around your hips, guiding your rhythm with maddening control, while his other hand slides down to tease your aching clit, circling it with deliciously slow, torturous strokes.
your eyes roll back, vision blurring from the overwhelming pleasure, and you’re caught between trembling restraint and the impossible need to let go. fuckーhow can he expect you to hold back when he’s sinfully pleasuring you like this?
It's been half an hour, and you’re not sure how much longer you can hold out. an aching need swells within you as you clutch his hand, fingers intertwining with his, silently begging him to quicken his pace, desperately craving that sweet, sweet release that feels just out of reach.
once the russian has his mind set on something, no amount of begging, sweet words, or tears will sway him. his long, pale fingers slip between your folds, thumb tracing lazy circles over your clit hood to add to your mounting pleasure and you can’t help but roll your hips against him, grinding harder with each passing second. you're acutely aware of the risk that his body might jolt, drawing the unwanted attention of his oblivious subordinates.
you can't hold back anymore, the pleasure has woven itself tightly within you, each pulse layered like bricks in a tower that only fyodor’s permission keeps standing, until the same bricks of bliss snap at the base of your spine once his hand, which had been gripping your hair, taps against the cold metal table twice.
it’s the sign you’ve been begging the heavens for. you're now rolling your hips faster against his hard cock, finally riding out your long-awaited release—jaw slack, eyes rolled back, a trace of drool slipping from your parted lips as you soak his fabric, bliss coursing through you like the light of a thousand stars from the milky way.
as you shudder in ecstasy, the three of his fingers continue bullying your swelling clit—coaxing you through the rest of your release as he draws sharp shapes on the puffy nub.
“that’s it, my love keep that orgasm going for me.” he leans down out of the camera's field to pressing searing kisses to the nape of your neck.
ironically, the meeting continues, oblivious to your plight.
nikolai’s enthusiastic breaks through your sweet bliss. “...and that’s how i’ll handle the weretiger situation.”
while sigma rolls his eyes, clearly unimpressed. “can we move on? i still need to discuss my casino issues.”
clearing his throat, fyodor straightens up, his trademark icy professionalism settling back into place once more. “then let’s wrap this up. we’ll reconvene later to finalise the plan.”
you try to regain your composure, still feeling the aftershocks of erotic pleasure, as the meeting draws to a close. fyodor casts you a sidelong glance with a small loving smirk as he adds, “i trust everyone will stay focused now.”
frankly, you can’t shake the feeling that your relationship won’t stay a secret for much longer. especially given how risky you both are being by engaging in sexually-driven activities like this.

"Where are you going?" I managed to ask as Aemond untangled himself from our embrace.
Still breathless, I lay there, recovering slowly, the faint sheen of sweat on my skin testament to our recent intimacy.
He smirked down at me, a self-satisfied grin playing on his lips.
"I'm just fetching us some sustenance. We have a long night ahead," he teased lightly, his eye dancing with amusement. His quick departure left me blushing, and with a fleeting kiss, he was gone.
I reclined on the bed, the cool embrace of the sheets a contrast to the warmth Aemond had left behind. The room was filled with a lingering scent of him, a mix of sandalwood and something uniquely his, a reminder of our closeness.
Moments passed, the quiet enveloping me like a soothing balm, until the door swung open abruptly.
"Back so soon?" I inquired, sitting up expectantly, a playful smile on my lips. But it wasn't my husband who returned, instead, a stranger stood before me.
My breath caught in my throat as I gasped, instinctively drawing the sheets around me with trembling hands. "Who are you?" I demanded, my voice quivering with a mix of confusion and unease.
The man held up a cage, his demeanour serious. "Ratcatcher," he stated simply, though his appearance hardly fit the description.
"There are no rats here, and I do not appreciate uninvited guests," I retorted, eyeing him with suspicion. My heart pounded in my chest, a primal sense of danger prickling at my senses.
Another man stumbled into the room, bowing respectfully.
"Princess," he addressed me, and I sighed in frustration, the formality of the title doing little to calm my nerves.
The first man turned to his companion. "His wife?" he asked, receiving a nod in response. "Where's the prince?" he pressed further, his tone becoming more assertive, the implication of his words sinking in like a stone in my stomach.
My apprehension grew as their conversation unfolded. "I don't know where he is," I stammered, trying to keep my voice steady.
Before I could react, the burly man abandoned the cage and loomed over me, a dagger pressing threateningly against my neck.
"What are you doing?" I cried out, attempting to retreat, but his grip on me tightened, keeping me in place on the bed. The cold steel of the blade bit into my skin.
A whirlwind of thoughts raced through my mind, tears welling in my eyes. Fear and panic gripped me as the gravity of the situation dawned. The room seemed to close in around me, the walls pressing down with the weight of impending doom.
"He wants him, not her," the second man interjected, attempting to clarify their intent. The first man scoffed, his voice cold and dismissive.
"Does your husband love you?" he asked abruptly, and I hesitated, the question striking at my core. Before I could answer, the second man spoke for me.
"He worships the ground she walks on," he affirmed, his voice unwavering.
The man with the dagger at my throat smirked ominously, the confirmation of my husband's love and devotion fueling his cruel intent.
"Then we take her, and he'll feel every ounce of pain," he declared, pressing the blade harder against my skin.
The threat hung heavy in the air, sending shivers of fear down my spine. The realization that I was a tool to hurt the man I loved, was almost unbearable.
"Get dressed quickly, or we'll parade you around like this," the second man ordered tersely, his tone brooking no argument. I nodded silently, my mind racing with desperate thoughts.
The fear of what they might do next propelled me into action.
I dressed under the watchful eyes of my captors, my hands trembling as I pulled on my clothes. My silent pleas for Aemond to return and save me echoed in my mind, a desperate hope that he would somehow sense my peril and come to my rescue.
─── ✦⋅♡⋅✦ ───
Meanwhile, Aemond returned to our chambers, his anticipation of my warm embrace and loving presence turning to confusion and then to mounting dread as he found the room empty. The sheets were dishevelled, a cold reminder of our recent intimacy now tainted by my absence.
His heart pounded in his chest as he noticed something glinting on the floor. It was my ring, the one he had given me on our wedding day, lying discarded as if hastily removed.
Aemond's hands clenched into fists, his jaw tightening with anger and fear. I would never willingly take off that ring, he knew.
Its absence spoke volumes, a silent accusation hanging in the air.
In a surge of panicked realization, Aemond's mind raced through possibilities, each more horrifying than the last.
Had I been abducted? Betrayed? Fear for my safety gripped him like a vice, overwhelming any rational thought.
Fighting back rising panic, Aemond forced himself to think clearly. He searched the room frantically, hoping for any clue, any sign of where I might be. His thoughts raced to my last words, our last moments together.
Had he missed something? Should he have sensed danger?
Unable to contain his worry any longer, Aemond stormed out of the chamber, his footsteps echoing down the castle corridors as he sought answers. Guards and servants alike recoiled from his raw, unbridled fury as he demanded to know if anyone had seen me if anyone knew where I had gone.
The castle buzzed with whispers and hurried exchanges as word of the princess's disappearance spread. Aemond's mind raced with possibilities, none of them offering solace.
Each passing moment without me felt like an eternity, his anguish deepening with every heartbeat.
Hours stretched into an agonizing wait, filled with uncertainty and dread. Aemond's fists remained clenched, his jaw set in determination.
He would find me, no matter the cost. His love for me, the very ground on which he walked, fueled his resolve as he vowed to bring me back safely, whatever it took.
─── ✦⋅♡⋅✦ ───
In his frenzied desperation, Aemond mounted Vhagar, his mind clouded by fear and fury. The dragon, sensing her rider's tumultuous emotions, took flight with a thunderous roar that shook the very foundations of the castle.
Aemond's grip on the reins was tight, his eyes ablaze with a mix of rage and anguish as he soared through the night sky.
Below him, the world blurred into a chaotic whirl of lights and shadows. His vision narrowed to a single purpose, finding me. Thoughts of strategy, of reason, were drowned out by the primal need to reunite with his beloved, to ensure my safety at any cost.
Vhagar's wings beat against the wind as they streaked across the darkened landscape. Aemond's mind replayed every moment, every clue, searching for a trace of me.
His desperation was palpable, a dark cloud hanging over his heart.
The dragon's fiery breath left a trail of destruction in its wake, forests and fields illuminated by sudden bursts of orange and red as Aemond's anger manifested in the dragon's wrath. Villages and farmlands alike were scorched, the once peaceful night now marred by flames and smoke.
His voice echoed through the night, a guttural "Dracarys!" that symbolized both his determination and his desperation. Dragonfire!
The dragonfire leapt forward, consuming everything in its path, a testament to Aemond's relentless pursuit and unyielding love.
He knew deep down that he would let the world burn if it meant finding me. Flames would consume everything in sight, casting ash into the air and staining the sky blood-orange.
A fiery testament to his love and possession, ensuring that everyone understood, I was his, and he would move mountains or raze kingdoms to prove it.
As the night stretched on, Aemond's search grew more frantic, the boundaries of his restraint fraying with each passing moment. The sky glowed with the fiery evidence of his passage, a blazing signal of his relentless hunt.
Aemond's determination was an unstoppable force, driving him to the edge of reason and beyond, fueled by the love that burned brighter than the inferno left in his wake.
Meanwhile, back in King's Landing, my captors found their plans disrupted by the unexpected intervention of Ser Criston Cole. The Lord Commander of the Kingsguard intercepted them just as they were about to depart the city.
The narrow, shadowed alleys echoed with the clash of steel as Criston confronted the men, his blade moving with practised precision.
The struggle was intense but brief. Criston's years of training made him a formidable opponent. He disarmed the first man with a swift strike, sending the dagger skittering across the cobblestones.
The second man hesitated, his grip on me loosening just enough for Criston to pull me free and shield me behind his armoured form.
With decisive actions, he thwarted their attempt to flee with me, turning the tide in favour of protection and justice. The clinking of chains and the muttered curses of my captors filled the air as they were subdued and bound.
As I was led away from danger, my thoughts remained fixated on Aemond, my heart torn between relief at my own safety and worry for my beloved.
"Where is Aemond?" I asked Criston, my voice tinged with concern and the weight of uncertainty.
The chaos of the night felt surreal, and the fear for Aemond's well-being gnawed at my mind.
Criston, ever composed despite the tumultuous events, let out a weary sigh. "Burning the world down," he replied gravely, his words carrying the weight of Aemond's consuming determination and the chaos left in his wake.
The sombre tone in his voice underscored the gravity of the situation, and my heart ached knowing the lengths Aemond would go to for me.
─── ✦⋅♡⋅✦ ───
Aemond landed Vhagar outside the castle, the dragon's massive wings folding with a soft thud.
From my vantage point, I watched him dismount with a heavy heart. His every movement betrayed the weight of worry that burdened him as he hurried through the dimly lit corridors, his footsteps echoing with urgency.
Each passing moment felt like an eternity, the anticipation and dread mingling in the air. I remained hidden, breath held, until finally, the door to our chamber burst open with a force that startled me.
There he stood, framed by the doorway, his expression a tumultuous mix of relief and anguish as our eyes locked in a moment of profound connection.
Tears welled up in my eyes as I rushed into his arms, and Aemond held me tightly, as if afraid I might slip away again. The warmth of his embrace was a balm for my tortured soul, grounding me in the safety of his arms.
"I thought I lost you," he whispered hoarsely, burying his face in my hair. I trembled against him, the fear still clutching at my heart.
"I was so scared, Aemond," I cried, my voice muffled against his chest. "They came for me... I didn't know what would happen. I thought—"
He pulled back slightly, cupping my face in his hands, his thumbs brushing away my tears.
"You're safe now. I'm here," he murmured, his gaze searching mine for any trace of the terror I had endured. His fingers grazed over the wound on my neck, a stark reminder of the ordeal I had faced.
Anger and guilt flashed across his features.
"What did they do to you?" he breathed, his voice laced with fury. The sight of the mark ignited a fire within him, his protective instincts roaring to life.
I winced at his touch but met his gaze, tears brimming in my eyes.
"It's nothing, just a scratch. I was terrified, Aemond. They talked about you, they wanted you." My voice trembled as memories flooded back, and I clung to him tighter, seeking solace in his strength.
Aemond's heart ached for my pain, his guilt palpable. "I swear, I'll make them pay for this," he vowed, his voice low and fierce. I shuddered in response, pressing closer to him as if his presence could shield me from the storm of emotions.
"I just want to be safe with you," I whispered, my voice breaking. "I don't want to be afraid anymore."
He nodded, pulling me close again, wrapping his arms around me protectively.
"You are safe, and I won't let anyone hurt you ever again. I promise." The sincerity in his voice resonated deeply, reaffirming the bond forged through our love and the trials we had faced.
As we held each other tightly in that tearful reunion, Aemond reached into his pocket and produced the ring I had dropped as a clue. He gently took my hand and slipped it back onto my finger, his touch tender and reverent.
"This belongs to you," he said softly, his eyes locked on mine. "And so do I."
The only thoughts consuming Aemond now were the myriad ways he would make my captors suffer. He envisioned unleashing the full fury of a dragon upon them, ensuring they experienced every ounce of pain they had inflicted on me.
The flames of vengeance burned brightly within him, igniting a fierce determination to make them pay for their transgressions.
A/n - Yes, this is inspired by Let the World Burn by Chris Grey and I apologise I've re-read and edited it multiple times but it still feels kinda choppy?

Pictured above: a shape's eye view of the end of the world.
The second dimension has burned; and Bill's been accidentally setting the second dimension's neighbors on fire. At the moment, the Axolotl is trying really, really hard to convince himself that these two facts are unrelated. Here, have a fic.
This is chapter 5 of an ongoing fic about the Axolotl in the wake of the Euclidean Massacre as Bill just keeps on committing atrocities. If you wanna read the earlier chapters (and/or look at more pretty art of Bill committing horrors and the Ax witnessing horrors), here's chapters one, two, three, and four.
####
As soon as the Axolotl and the Time Giant exited Dimension Zero, they were greeted with a faceful of rain. Apparently the storm cloud with the Apocalyptic Threat Task Force had been waiting for them. "The fires in the remaining dimensions around 2Δ are finally acting like normal fires," it said. "No teleporting around, no more targeting the mortals. We've got the worst ones under control. Think we'll save about 40% of Dimension 2 Zeta and 30% of Dimension 2 Epsilon. Whatever you two did in there, it helped."
"Yeah, well." The Time Giant shrugged, nearly dislodging the Axolotl from his perch draped over her shoulder. "It was one of those problems that fixes itself once you figure out what it is."
So the Time Giant had been right. The triangle's attempts to rescue "his" "people" and to stabilize his strange underworld in Dimension Zero had been what was destabilizing all the other dimensions. As much of a relief as it was to hear the situation was improving... part of the Axolotl had hoped that the fires were still as untamed as ever—because that would have meant the triangle wasn't guilty of perpetuating the blaze.
(If the triangle wasn't actively working to keep Dimension Zero stable, how much longer until it collapsed and erased all its imprisoned souls from existence? Would it be long enough to get them all out?)
The cloud asked, "So, did you find out what destroyed 2Δ?" Right. The Axolotl had almost forgotten that was what they'd originally been looking for.
The Time Giant shook her head grimly. "Didn't see any sign of it. But I've got a suspicion who did it."
The Axolotl said sharply, "All we have is circumstantial evidence." And he'd ripped into more than one god who'd tried to damn a mortal based on circumstantial evidence.
The cloud's sunbeam darted between their faces. Slowly, it said, "I take it you mean our triangular friend. I don't have any proof yet about the original fire; but he's been spreading the fire, I know that much."
"How did you know?" the Axolotl asked. He and the Time Giant had only just learned it themselves inside Dimension Zero.
"We've been interviewing some refugees while you were out. I—think you'll want to speak to them." The cloud directed this statement to the Axolotl.
The Time Giant said, "Later. The triangle says he's willing to move his people to another dimension." She gestured toward VENDOR, flanked by the two cops THEY'd apparently adopted as THEIR personal escorts. THEY were ranting into a phone that the crab-looking cop was holding up for them. "So we've gotta go discuss refugee stuff with Vendy McVendface."
"VENDOR," the cloud corrected.
"Vend 'er? I hardly even know 'er!"
The gods turned to stare at the border of Dimension Zero as the triangle laughed at his own joke until he wheezed. "I had to. It was sitting right there! It woulda been a crime not to pick it up!" His cackles slowly petered out. "What, no laughs? Maybe the joke doesn't translate."
The Time Giant shrugged. "I kinda thought it was funny."
"Ah, whatever."
"Have you been listening the whole time?" the Axolotl asked, not sure whether to be amused or mortified.
"Don't worry about it, I've got something more important to say." He zipped up along the surface of Dimension Zero's border until he was eye level with the Time Giant. "Hey, Hourglass. I didn't say I'm ready to move my people. I said I'm ready to talk about moving. Your guy better sell me on it. If your offer isn't worth it, we're not leaving."
"Are you serious?" She screwed up her face. "Ain't not being erased from existence worth it?"
"I have very high standards. And there are fates worse than death."
"Name one."
The triangle only thought about it a second before he answered, "Captivity."
####
It wasn't until the Axolotl and the Time Giant left the border of Dimension Zero that the Axolotl realized, the moment the triangle had shown up, the storm cloud had disappeared. It was now drizzling surreptitiously near VENDOR, waiting for them to catch up.
As they approached VENDOR, the Time Giant said, "You should give VENDOR the news."
The Axolotl gave her an affronted look. "Why me?" This wasn't his responsibility. He hadn't been hired to do a job here. He shouldn't even be here; he was essentially an over-involved lookie-loo.
"You'd be better at talking to 'em. You move in the same circles."
"I'm not a politician, I'm a lawyer."
"I'm an engineer." She took the Axolotl off her shoulder and nudged his butt to set him gently floating in VENDOR's direction.
The Axolotl twisted around to give her a resentful look, but swam toward the vending machine.
THEY ignored the Axolotl until THEY finished THEIR current call, at which point THEY snapped, "What?" and he explained the situation. Blessedly, THEY didn't ask any further questions or give him any instructions; THEY just grumbled, "Finally," and told the crab cop, "Call the Vitruvian Mandala—we'll need to find places for another ten million 2D refugees."
"And 1D," the Axolotl said.
"Yes, yes." THEY muttered under THEIR fan, "And hopefully we'll get that triangle to the afterlife he deserves and be done with him."
The Axolotl doubted THEY meant a serene eternal paradise. Pointedly, he said, "Which afterlife he goes to is his choice."
Afterlife law was his speciality. Not cases like "based on this mortal's good and bad deeds, which form has she earned for her next reincarnation?" or "has this soul earned entry into his religion's realm of the wicked, the good, or the heroic?" Those were decided on the local level.
Rather, he tended to handle inter-pantheon, sometimes even interdimensional, cases—like, "if a mortal born on one planet lives and dies on another planet, which world's afterlife has claim to his soul?" "Is a soul's right to return to her native afterlife forfeit if she's apprehended in another god's jurisdiction for crimes against reality?" "Can a death god in a dimension where wandering ghosts are banned incarcerate a ghost from a dimension where wandering is legal?" "How does a soul's right to claim an afterlife weigh against an afterlife's right to claim a soul?" "Who has the right to judge a deceased mortal in the first place?"
The Axolotl personally thought that mortals deserved to be treated as mercifully as possible—starting with respecting the dead's own choice of afterlife above all others, and ending with outlawing damnation at the interdimensional level.
The rest of the multiverse... didn't agree with him yet. He didn't intend to stop until they did.
He went on, "Case law has long established that unless the dead made other arrangements premortem, they will be taken to—in order—the afterlife of their birth, their death, or their choice. The afterlife under whose jurisdiction the triangle lived and died has been destroyed, so he can go to any afterlife that says they're willing to take him, whether or not you think it's what he deserves—"
VENDOR's camera rolled and THEY impatiently beeped acknowledgment. "Do you mind, I'm on the phone." THEY turned THEIR back on the Axolotl to focus on THEIR next call. Yeah, most gods didn't like being told they couldn't just smite and damn whoever they felt like.
The storm cloud called the Axolotl's attention with a fork of lightning. It said, "I'll need to help coordinate the rescue efforts with VENDOR. I can get the report on what you learned in there from the engineering inspector; but you need to go talk to some of the witnesses of the fire. Maybe you should ask the Vitruvian Mandala when He's free."
That was the second time it had told him to talk to the refugees. "Why?"
"You said that yellow triangle's your friend, right?"
"I... did, yes."
The cloud didn't explain any further. It only said, "Be careful around him."
####
VENDOR bustled around making preparations to receive ten million new refugees with absolutely no input from anyone else on the scene; the cloud's time was split between coordinating with the ATTF and getting a full debrief from the Time Giant on the conditions inside Dimension Zero; and left alone, the Axolotl found himself staring into the roiling barrier around the bloated singularity.
He swore, no matter where he looked, in the center of his view he could see a tiny, yellow, triangular pinprick of light, like an afterimage burned into his retina. No matter how deeply he looked into Dimension Zero, somehow his eyes always seemed focused on the triangle, making it appear nearer and then farther, like an optical illusion.
Be careful around him. He wished his Oracle were here to ask him questions. Helping her mortal mind make sense of this whole affair might help him make sense of it himself.
He'd seen the horror in the triangle's eye when he realized that he was the one incinerating the dimensions that had once bordered his own. He'd heard the sincerity in the triangle's voice when he said he could feel the deaths of every life that fell into his dream realm—the deaths that he himself was causing. He'd felt the guilt pouring from the triangle when he realized his efforts to save "his people" from being killed were what was killing them. Whatever else the Axolotl knew, he was sure the triangle hadn't meant to cause anyone harm. He hadn't started the fires on purpose. He just... didn't know what he was doing.
And "his people"—what did that mean?
Maybe some of the people in the triangle's dance party were from his dimension. The Axolotl couldn't totally confirm that they weren't; if the triangle had somehow survived, then why not others?
But it was undeniable that the triangle had been "rescuing"/kidnapping people from other dimensions, and he talked about the people he'd rescued no differently from the people from his own dimension.
Why? Had members of his species spread to neighboring dimensions? Or had his species come from another? Had his people established diplomatic relationships with cultures in neighboring universes, enough for them to consider themselves one people?
"Certainly not," said the Vitruvian Mandala.
He was a god from one of the worlds in Dimension 2 Gamma that the ATTF had managed to evacuate before the dimension was fully incinerated. Now, He was just another refugee, huddled with His confused, terrified people on one of the temporary worlds provided by VENDOR, curved uncomfortably atop the spherical planet. He had to be reeling from the loss of His home just as much as His people were—if not more, since He had known and seen and done and loved much more that any single mortal could. But nevertheless, He'd immediately stepped up to assist with organizing the rescue services, acting as a liaison between VENDOR and the 2D mortals to find new homes for them.
And some of His people had been among the ones dragged into Dimension Zero—which was no doubt why the cloud had suggested the Axolotl speak to Him.
The Vitruvian Mandala may have been a minor creation god (He'd only created a galaxy) but He was more than powerful enough to know whether any of His people had ever made interdimensional contact. The Axolotl had waited until He had a moment to spare from assisting VENDOR, and then asked Him about their relationship with Dimension 2 Delta.
"I seeded life on all the populated worlds in My galaxy. None of My worlds have ever so much as been colonized by another galaxy in Our own dimension, much less people from another dimension," He said. "And We're a young galaxy—the most advanced starfarers have hardly ventured beyond their own solar systems; none have left Our dimension."
"And they've never spoken to other dimensions...?"
"No. The first contact We ever had with 'Dimension 2 Delta'—or what was left of it—was when the Magister Mentium began dragging My people into his underworld. The leaders I've had a chance to speak to from Dimension 2 Epsilon and Dimension 2 Zeta have told Me the same. " He called the triangle 'Magister Mentium' without any of the halting awkwardness the Axolotl did, or even the self-consciousness the triangle himself did. The Vitruvian Mandala had never known the triangle as anything but the Magister Mentium—and in His voice, it sounded not like an oversized title for a tiny triangle, but like the name of a fellow god.
But—the Axolotl had only asked the Vitruvian Mandala about Dimension 2 Delta. He hadn't brought up the Magister Mentium, nor mentioned that he was asking about the kidnapped people. "How did you know about the Magister Mentium?"
The Vitruvian Mandala said simply, "Because he introduced himself to My people before he started stealing them."
At the Axolotl's shocked silence, He said, "Do you want to see what they saw?"
####
When the agents with the ATTF had started interviewing survivors about the cosmic fire, naturally, they'd first approached the other gods for information. And then the gods had approached the mortals under their charge to get their testimonies and pass them on to the apoc agents.
The Vitruvian Mandala had telepathically extracted His people's memories and copied them into tiny glassy discs with brass rims. He sifted through dozens of discs before offering the memory of a narrow rhombus from one of His most technologically advance worlds; and the Axolotl stared through the disk to experience the mortal's memory.
The memory started with a sight that had become all too familiar to the Axolotl: a distant line of burning blue fire. It took a moment for the Axolotl to orient himself to the mortal's razor-thin two-dimensional view of her world; but once he did, he realized that, from her perspective, it wasn't a line of light. To her, it was the entire sky. The constellations of faraway flat stars had vanished, and their place was taken by an inferno.
The whole world reeked of a stench that the rhombus didn't recognize, but that the Axolotl did: burning hydrogen. In most dimensions, three-fourths of all the matter in the entire universe—including the very stars themselves—consisted of hydrogen molecules. Hydrogen burned a pale blue. The stench in the air, the pale blue light filling the sky, was the smell and sight of the raw materials of reality itself burning away.
The nearby buildings had emptied into the city streets as people abandoned their work to coming outside and stare at the burning sky. Somewhere—it seemed very far away—people were screaming, sirens were wailing, government proclamations were issuing out of radios and loudspeakers; but on these streets, on the border of the city where the sky was most visible, everyone was horribly silent.
An eerie feeling of unreality hung over the world. It felt like a scene out of a dream. The rhombus's heart filled with dread. She didn't understand why or how the sky was burning, but she felt in her bones that it must mean the end of the world.
She never imagined that it was the end of the entire universe.
And then, more real than reality itself, bright enough to blind, a radioactive-yellow shape appeared in the middle of the crowd. Over the gasps of shock, a voice that echoed between the buildings proclaimed, "Gooood evening! Lines, bis, and tris; quads, quints, and more—my beloved believers and my new friends—I'm sure you all recognize my voice from the news, but it's a pleasure to finally meet you all in the flesh!"
She wasn't sure he had any flesh to meet. He was ghostlike, as insubstantial as smoke—and just as formless as smoke, too: his shape constantly shimmered and shifted and distorted, his skin appearing and disappearing as his internal organs were exposed; one moment a leg visible, the next a hand, then no limbs at all, just his blindingly bright body. His organs were all wrong. When she could stand to squint at the specter's light, in the split seconds that his ghostly form was properly visible, she thought he looked like a triangle.
(She'd never seen the third dimension, never even attempted to imagine what a 3D shape might look like. She didn't realize his appearance shifted because he was a 2D shape tilting in 3D directions trying to lay flat on the 2D plane of Dimension 2 Gamma, and not quite succeeding. )
"Allow me to introduce myself properly: I'm the Magister Mentium, seer of the third dimension! Your gateway to the stars and stardom, your guide to prophets and profits, your mastermind and master of minds; and, if you're lucky, your new eternal party host! I'm sure the honor's all yours—but please, resist the urge to swoon! I have a limited time offer that you cannot afford to miss."
For all his self-aggrandizing, the triangle was still completely unfamiliar. She didn't see recognition in the eyes of any of the shapes around them, either. She doubted he'd ever actually been on the news at all, unless it was in one of those dubious programs about ghost hunting or UFOs.
But the triangle charged on regardless: "I'm here to bring you salvation from— Whoops! We've got a crying baby over here. Sorry junior, I'm on stage right now." She hadn't even noticed the crying until the triangle pointed it out; the whole world seemed dull and muffled and gray except for the triangle. One of his arms stretched in the child's direction and disappeared; there was a split-second flash of black fingers where the baby used to be; and then both hand and baby vanished, the baby's cries morphing into a shriek of terror that slowly faded into the unseeable distance.
"My baby!" a rectangle wailed. She rushed up to the alien triangle. "What did you do to my baby, you—" She tried to seize his arm, and let out a howl of pain as her hands burst into flame.
"Calm down, Mama, your little brat's okay!" He reached out and flicked the rectangle back. His finger hit her with the force of a catapult. She tumbled away from him through dimensions unknown, skins and bone and organs turning inside-out over each other; and slammed into a nearby building, fusing with the wall. All that was visible of her was a thin cross section of meat. The rhombus couldn't imagine where the rest of her had gone—but she could smell the burning flesh.
"Too bad I can't say the same of you." The triangle turned to stare them all down, gaze darting restlessly from face to face. His pupil was bizarrely long, animal-like; and his gaze burned. She was sure that, if his gaze had lingered on her a moment longer, she would have caught fire, too. "We're burning time, people! Would anyone else like to be excused? Last call!"
There were a few whispers, but no one moved. The crowd was petrified with fear.
"Terrrrific! Then you'd better listen close, because I only have time to say this once," the triangle said. "Here's the deal! There's only two kinds of people: the ones who hate captivity, and the ones who love it. Oh yeah, there are people who love it! Some of 'em like inflicting it, some of 'em are too stupid to think for themselves, and some of 'em just want to do terrible things and pretend they had no choice!
"But I'm here to help the rest of you—you know who you are! You're the ones who never quite tessellated with the other kids! The ones who are sick and tired of your family saying you had so much potential and asking where it's all gone! You can feel the barbs of social obligation hooking into your flesh—yeah, you there, you know what I'm talking about, I see you!—and you'd rip your own skin off if you thought it would set you free! It won't, by the way—take it from a guy who knows! Luckily for you, my way's more effective and less painful! Probably!"
In spite of their fear, more than a few shapes had started pushing closer to the triangle. He was speaking to them.
"So if you crave freedom—from work, laws, morality, physics... death..."
More than a few shapes glanced fearfully toward the sky.
"...if you want to see the stars with me—then raise your hand! Reach out to me! Watch your enemies burn and escape to a realm of dreams with no rules and no responsibilities! That's right, this way!"
As soon as he said raise your hand, it seemed like half the crowd stretched their hands out to him —and the longer he spoke, the more reached out.
She recognized some of the people reaching out—some of them were her neighbors and friends. Here was a beaten-down pentagon who'd spent his whole life being controlled, and just wanted freedom from the ruthless monsters who used and abused him. There was a controlling circle who'd spent her whole life using and abusing others, and wanted freedom to be an even more ruthless monster. They all reached toward the triangle just the same—as if they'd been waiting their whole lives for an opportunity to escape. The desperate, the downtrodden, the dastardly, the barely daring to hope. If the whole burning world felt like a bizarre dream, then this must have felt like a dream come true to them.
But to the rhombus, it felt like a nightmare. She had to fight through the crowd to back away from him.
"No need to push! If you can't see me, just hold your hand toward my voice, I can see you!"
The smell of burning existence was growing stronger.
Was this a test? An approaching apocalypse and a shapeshifting god of light and fire offering a last-minute rapture. The sky was burning—what hope did they have if they didn't go with him? More of the crowd was reaching for him now—terrified of him, but more terrified of their fate if they didn't. The rhombus reluctantly stretched out a hand.
"Thaaat's right, this way! I've got all of you!" His voice was taking on an edge of impatience. "Just—come on already! Hurry up!"
She was at just the right angle to catch a split second glimpse of the triangle through the crowd. She saw as the person closest to him reached out and grasped his hand. She saw as the first of the triangle's new followers burst into flames. The unlucky soul crumbled to ash before they had a chance to scream.
"I said no pushing."
The rhombus jerked her hand back and hoped the triangle hadn't seen her through the crowd. He wasn't offering salvation.
Most of the crowd wasn't lucky enough to get a view of the unfortunate shapes at the front who were already learning what a deal with the triangle entailed. The rhombus could hear people, as though from a vast distance, calling out to the triangle: "Take me, take me!" "I'll do anything!" It seemed like the whole world was trying to get closer to him; she thought she was the only one trying to move away, until she made it as far back as she could, where the crowd was thinning out, and caught a few other shapes in her peripheral vision who'd moved the same way. More than half the crowd was rushing in toward the triangle.
But apparently, it wasn't enough to satisfy him. "Come on, people!" That enthusiastic voice, halfway between a salesman and a camp counselor, was gone now. His voice went shrill with anxiety. "What's it gonna take?! I'm offering you idiots paradise, why won't you listen? Why don't you ever LISTEN TO ME?!"
For a moment, even though the triangle was completely hidden by the crowd, the rhombus could feel his fiery gaze sweep over her. She felt the way her skin threatened to burst into flames, and she knew he saw her.
She backed away until her rear angle bumped into the nearest building.
"Fine! You've had your chance! I've found my people!" The triangle's voice dropped to an angry snarl. "For all I care, the rest of you can burn."
For every hand that stretched out to the triangle, a black hand reached back toward them—dozens and dozens of hands. "Let's blow up this popsicle stand!"
He seized his new believers' hands.
Most of them instantly burst into flames.
Most of the rest were either jerked away into some unseeable direction like the baby had been, or else the burning ghost hand they were shaking yanked something out of them, leaving behind a dry corpse.
Reality warped and distorted in ways her eye couldn't make sense of: buildings wobbling and spilling apart like they were made of liquid; people twisting together with the buildings in sickening multi-corpsed abominations.
"Whoopsie!" The triangle let out a shrill, tittering laugh. It sounded pained. "S-still gotta get the hang of that. Oh well!" He spoke louder and faster. "I saved as many of you as I could, doing the best I can here, the rest of you don't matter, anyway byyye!"
And then he was gone.
And then they were all awake. She hadn't known they were asleep. Whatever happened hadn't been a mere shared nightmare; it was as though the layer of existence that dreams happened on had been pressed into the layer of existence where reality happened, and she hadn't even noticed until the pressure applied by the triangle lifted and the layers popped apart again.
The layers had popped apart too hard. Several of the shapes nearest the triangle that he hadn't taken with him instantly died—the tether between their souls on the plane of dreams and their bodies on the plane of reality snapped like overstretched rubber bands.
The fused corpse abominations had been left behind, still tangled and mangled with the architecture. The buildings were charred. The survivors were covered in burns they hadn't noticed—everywhere the triangle had looked was burned. Anything the triangle looked through was burned.
She was covered in burns. She could feel the burning inside her body. She raised her hands to her face and felt it peeling off.
She couldn't even feel the bright blue fires roaring down from the heavens.
And then something else lifted her out of the world, just before the reality around them began to burn.
She didn't know where all the people the triangle had taken had gone. But as she blacked out, of one thing she was sure: this higher dimension he'd claimed to see, this realm of stars and dreams? They weren't there.
Wherever they were, they'd gone down.
####
When the Axolotl emerged from the recorded memory, he was dizzy with horror. He had to lay down on the prefab planet next to the Vitruvian Mandala while he reeled.
"Are you all right?" the Vitruvian Mandala asked.
Broken, the Axolotl said, "he threw a baby."
"I know."
"Is the baby alright?"
Delicately, He said, "It's beyond the dimensions I'm able to sense."
The Axolotl curled his gills. Not the baby. "What about the rhombus?"
"Her body was too burned; she died shortly after this memory," the Vitruvian Mandala said. "But fortunately, only a small part of her ghost suffered third degree burns. With an ectoplasm graft she's expected to recovery enough to have a fairly normal afterlife. Inasmuch as any afterlife can be considered 'normal' for My people now."
The Axolotl had noted how many ghosts were mingling with the living mortals when he arrived on this planet. He hadn't wanted to say anything; he didn't know whether that was normal for their people. "I can give you the contact rituals of some interdimensional psychopomps I respect. Very professional and compassionate gods." Although they'd be cursing the Axolotl's name for millennia for throwing so much work on their desks.
"I'd appreciate that. Thank you."
The Axolotl returned the memory disc to the Vitruvian Mandala; He momentarily stared into it Himself before returning it to His collection. "He gave speeches like this all across My populated worlds. I've retrieved thousands of memories like this from My people." His voice shook; the Axolotl couldn't tell if it was with anger or grief. "There would have been more—if more had survived."
"I'm so sorry." He didn't know what else he could do for the poor god but be sorry. All the senseless, slapdash slaughter. All of it so casual and accidental.
"Why?" the Vitruvian Mandala demanded. "He didn't speak like he meant My people harm, but he couldn't have done them more harm if he'd tried! I've never heard of him before—what is he, some malevolent trickster god? Why did he do it"
"Because... he thought he was saving them." That was the only thing the Axolotl could cling to.

(Thanks for reading!! If the art lured you in and this is the first chapter you read, this is part 5 of a 7-or-8-or-9 part fic that keeps getting more parts, about the Axolotl in the immediate aftermath of the Euclidean Massacre. I'll be posting one chapter a week, Fridays 5pm CST, so stick around if you wanna watch the Axolotl run out of ways to pretend Bill didn't destroy his own dimension.
It's ALSO chapter 61 Part Five of an ongoing post-canon post-TBOB very-reluctantly-human Bill fic. So if you wanna read more of me writing Bill, check it out. If you're not sold on the idea of a human Bill fic, I've also got a one-shot about normal triangle Bill escaping the Theraprism if you wanna read that.
If this is NOT your first time here and you already knew all of the above: Bill got SO CLOSE to looking like a misguided good guy last chapter, and that's why he had to throw a baby.
No actually it was because it seemed really really funny. Flipped that flat little thing like a pancake.
Due to real-world reasons, this is another chapter that isn't as edited & polished as usual, so let me know if you noticed any rough spots that need buffing. And let me know what you think! Bill with his cult leader persona cranked up to 100% is probably the hardest Bill to write.)

Temperance (1/3)
Tumblr media
pairing: wanda maximoff x female!reader plot: Your best friend Kate convinced you to do charity work in Sokovia with some of your old classmates, including your former bully Vision and his girlfriend Wanda Maximoff, who you inconveniently took too much of a liking in. warnings: 18+ !! minors dni. wanda is with vision... also, suggestive content I guess word count: 1115
Patience is a virtue. Patience is the solution. These have been your only thoughts for days now. From a self-imposed affirmation to a recurring echo in your head, this reminder is all you had to get through the situation at hand. What else could you do? Keep trying to ignore your desire? The craving that has kept you awake for days and nights?
The thing is, you may be able to trick your brain for a while. Convince yourself that the way her nose wrinkles when she grins doesn't do anything to you. That the way her middle and ring finger draw the same patterns over and over again on the pages of her book whenever she is deep in thought, doesn't stir something inside of you. That the muffled moans coming from her and Vision's room at night don't bother you. Your brain has managed to lie to itself for a long time, but you can no longer ignore what Wanda is doing to you. So instead of denying your feelings, you decided that you have to sit through them. Until you can finally leave this place.
You weren't planning on pining after your old classmate's girlfriend, but here you were. Miles away from home, locked up with the constant reminder that you can never be with Wanda the way you want to. Originally, the three months in Sokovia were supposed to fulfill you. You just wanted to take care of the local street dogs with your best friend Kate. Do something good. That was it.
“Come on y/n, you've always had a heart for street animals,” your best friend said to you at the time. Back then she turned up at your door without a warning and told you about this great trip Vision had planned.
“Kate, I barely got anything done last semester. I can't waste another one. Besides, my boss never gives me that long of a vacation.”
You knew Kate wouldn't leave your apartment until you said yes. You could tell by the way her eyes were gleaming. How she slightly bend over the table you were sitting at, her gaze not leaving you for one second. Of course, the whole thing is much easier for Kate. Her mother is filthy rich. Kate can basically do whatever she wants. She could disappear for one year, travel the world with money she didn't earn and wouldn't have to worry about her life back home for one moment. You don't have that luxury.
“Think about it. First of all, you do something that fulfills you. Besides, I know you y/n. You haven't wanted to work in that rancid bakery for months. We'll find something new for you afterwards. Not to mention that volunteering to help street dogs for three months looks great on your CV. Plus: I heard Vision rented a mansion”
Vision. The name alone triggered something in you. Vision is not only the son of the famous billionaire Tony Stark, but also a giant asshole. Before Vision knew you were friends with Kate, he took every opportunity to trigger you in some way. Like standing in front of your locker with his group of followers for no reason, just so you couldn't get to it. The worst thing he ever did was probably when he stole your notebook and read out loud in class what you had written about your former classmate Natasha. Some cheesy and cringe poem you managed to suppress from your memories. From that day on, it wasn't just the whole school that knew you liked women. You also were never able to look Natasha in the eye again. But Vision somehow always managed to come out of it okay. His reputation was disgustingly squeaky clean.
“It's so weird imagining Vision doing something voluntarily that doesn't serve only himself. Are you sure he isn't just joking?,” you had asked back then.
“I think he has really changed since high school. Besides, his girlfriend is originally from Sokovia and I think it was her idea? I don't know for sure. But please, y/n, join me. I'd do anything to spend more than an hour a week with my best friend. And this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Vision specifically asked if you want to join.”
You've never been able to deny Kate a wish. But also, it's never led you into such a miserable situation before. So this is where you were. In a villa far too grand for it to feel like a prison. Besides Vision, Wanda and Kate, there were two other old classmates; Steve and Bucky. Living together turned out to be easier than you thought, especially considering the fact that Vision was there. But your feelings for Wanda kept causing you problems. Whenever the redhead came near you, you started to stumble over your words. One long look alone could throw you completely off balance. But it was even worse when she smiled at you. When she listened to you and her head slightly tilted at the same time. Or when you were cooking and she suddenly appeared behind you, her hand softly placed around your waist and her head set down on your shoulder.
“What are you blessing us with this evening?,” she inquired with an almost teasing tone in her voice.
Before you were able to even articulate anything, she took her free hand, slid it along your arm and took the wooden spoon out of your hand.
“May I?,” her voice dangerously low, as she already moved the spoon towards her mouth, looking straight at you. You just gulped and managed a small nod as Wanda put the spoon in her mouth, her gaze never leaving you as she sucked it clean. Her green eyes were barely visible as her dilated pupils covered them almost completely. A soft moan escaped from her lips as she handed the spoon back to you.
“You're so good at this y/n,” Wanda groans, her hand which still holds onto your waist making its way to your lower back, smoothly slipping under your loose t-shirt. The cold rings on her fingers on your warm skin immediately sent shivers down your spine. Her pinky slightly slipped under the waistband of your sweatpants before she left you standing alone in the kitchen.
She must do this on purpose. There is no other way.
You thought to yourself. But what was the use? Either you are right and she does it on purpose or you are wrong and project your fantasies onto her. In both cases, it is best to simply stay away from Wanda. Because there is no way you don't end up completely fucked. Right?

Based on Oliver mentioning Buck and Jee baking together in an upcoming ep.
(I wrote this on my phone so it's not the greatest)
now also on AO3
---
"Is it someone's birthday?" Maddie asked, running through all of their friends and relatives in her mind, trying to figure out if she forgot a birthday.
"No." Buck shook his head and kept pulling ingredients out of the fridge and his kitchen cabinets.
"Ok... What's the occasion then?" she asked when he didn't elaborate.
"It's for Tommy. "
"Oh, is it his birthday?"
"No, not for a few weeks."
"Right. So this is a practice run?"
"What? No. I found the recipe online, but it's easy enough."
"Ok..."
"He likes cake."
"Ok."
Buck sighed and rolled his eyes at his sister before glancing up in the direction of the loft's bedroom.
"He's had a rough couple of days. He had to make an emergency landing because of bad weather yesterday and the ambulance couldn't get to them fast enough and they lost the patient."
"That was him? Josh took that call and he was exhausted from stress by the end of shift."
Buck nodded.
"Tommy too. And he was hurting all over last night. He never takes any pain medication but he took two ibuprofen and a hot shower and crashed into bed."
"Are you sure you're alright to take Jee for the afternoon then? I can ask Mrs Lee or see if she can go play with her friend Emily from down the road. "
"It's fine." Buck told her and turned to Jee. "You're my sous chef aren't you? Are you going to help me today?"
"Yeah!" the girl yelled happily.
"But we have to be quiet ok? Tommy is sleeping upstairs and we don't want to wake him. He needs to sleep because he's sick."
Jee nodded solemnly to show she understood.
"But we're going to surprise him with cake so he'll feel better soon, right?"
"Yeah!" she yelled again, making her mother and uncle laugh.
"At least she's enthusiastic." Maddie tried and bent down to hug and kiss her daughter goodbye. "You be good for uncle Buck, me or daddy will pick you up tonight ok?"
"Ok mommy!" Jee said and climbed up onto the stool next to the kitchen counter.
"Go. We'll be fine." Buck assured her, wrapping an arm around Jee to keep her safe.
After Maddie had left, Buck gave Jee an old shirt of his to wear as apron, made her wash her hands, and the two of them got to work.
He tried to let her do as much as possible while still making sure everything was going to plan and she wouldn't hurt herself.
Before long the cake was in the oven and they started the clean up.
"And when it's done baking, we let it cool off a little and then we can put the icing on and decorate it with these." he showed Jee the assortment of sprinkles he kept in his kitchen for her.
Jee nodded happily and started planning out her sprinkles masterpiece.
Buck looked up towards the bedroom area and listened for a sign of life from his boyfriend.
When he didn't hear anything, he decided to put Jee in front of the TV and go check on him. Tommy was fast asleep, rolled up in the duvet like a human burrito, and didn't seem to have woken up since Buck had made him eat something that morning.
Satisfied everything was ok, he went back downstairs and let Jee tell him all about the cartoon she was watching, until the cake was ready for decoration.
"Which ones do you want to put on first? Pink or gold?"
"Gold!"
"Alright, gold it is. Put it on where you think is best." Buck told her. "But not too much, we need to leave room for the other colours. And we can put your name on it. And mine."
"And uncle Tommy." she decided and Buck froze for a second.
Sure Tommy and Jee had met and he'd explained to her that Tommy was to him what mommy and daddy were to each other, and he was pretty sure she'd understood, but to hear her call him uncle Tommy, that was new.
Jee didn't seem to notice just how much she'd just turned his world upside down and was babbling about what colour sprinkles should go where.
"Pink here for the heart." she decided and Buck wondered when they'd agreed on heart shaped decorations.
"Right, yeah, that... that works." he let Jee draw a heart in pink sprinkles and dutifully wrote his and Tommy's names in it. "And where should I write your name?"
Jee thought for a minute and studied the cake but then shook her head.
"No name."
"What? Are you sure?"
"Yeah." Jee said like it was the most obvious thing in the world and put some sugar stars across the top half of the cake, above the heart with their names. "That's the sky. With stars."
"Oh wow, that's beautiful miss Jee, did you make that?"
Buck jumped a little when he suddenly heard his boyfriend's voice behind him and felt a hand on his waist.
"Uncle Buck helped" Jee told Tommy.
"Did he now? I'm sure you did all of the important work." Tommy said and gave her a conspiratory wink before turning to Buck and stealing a small kiss. "Hey." he greeted him softly.
"H-hey... Did we wake you?"
Tommy shook his head.
"It's fine. Had to get up eventually."
"Feeling better yet?"
Tommy shrugged and sat down at the kitchen island.
"I'm alright." he just said, which wasn't really an answer but Buck decided to let it go for now.
"Uncle Tommy, it's for you. You need to come look!" Jee insisted, pointing at the cake.
Tommy met Buck's eyes over her head and mouthed "Uncle Tommy?" at him.
Buck shrugged and smiled.
"Uncle Tommy, come see!" Jee said again, a little louder this time, clearly getting fed up with the adults in her life.
"Why don't you two come here and show me, and you can tell me what you made."
Buck helped her down from her stool and put the cake on the island in front of Tommy before helping Jee back on her stool, this time sitting next to Tommy who immediately put a hand on her back so she wouldn't fall off.
"This is the sky with the stars." she started like she was explaining the mysteries of the universe. "And you can fly to the stars."
Tommy laughed a little.
"I don't think I can go quite that high in my helicopter. But maybe I can show you how high I do go. When you're a little older. And your mommy and daddy are ok with it. Maybe uncle Evan will want to come too."
Jee-Yun turned to Buck and gave him an expectant look.
"Yeah, maybe." he settled on, trying to get his heart to calm down and not burst out of his chest hearing his boyfriend make plans with his niece. Even if she was only three and would probably have forgotten about it by the time she was old enough to even think about going up.
She seemed happy with that answer and turned back to Tommy to explain the rest of their creation.
"It's really amazing Jee, it's almost too pretty to eat don't you think?"
"No. You have to eat it. It's chocolate." she said as if that explained everything.
"Oh really? I do love chocolate." Tommy told her. "But can I take a picture of it before we eat it?" he reached into the pocket of his sweats only to realise he'd left his phone upstairs. "Evan, can you take a picture and send it to me?"
"Sure." he grabbed his phone and opened the camera. "You should be in the picture too, we made it for you after all."
Tommy dutifully posed with the cake, tilting the pan towards the camera so the decorations were clearly visible.
"And now one with the master chef herself." he put the cake back down on the table and moved a little closer to Jee so they'd both fit in the picture with the cake and Buck took a few pictures.
After that Jee insisted on having a photo shoot, and by the time Maddie came to pick her back up, his camera roll was filled with pictures of the three of them.
He showed a few to Maddie at Jee's insistence and set one of Tommy making a funny face at Jee as his new contact picture.
They said goodbye to Maddie and Jee-yun and settled on the sofa together, scrolling through the pictures and laughing at some of silly ones.
"I like this one." Buck said, stopping at a selfie of the two of them where Tommy had kissed his cheek at the last second.
"Yeah. Me too." Tommy said softly, not really looking at the picture. "Thanks. For today. For getting me out of my head."
Buck smiled and kissed him.
"Of course."

(yandere! foreign exchange student x gn! reader) (thanks for 8k 😍😍)
"can you stop being so annoying?"
"what?"
he stares at you with a raised eyebrow, pouting as he rests his cheek on his palm. with both arms propped up on the table, he reaches out his other arm towards you. obviously you back away in disgust at his affection... and you can't help but notice the way he narrows his eyes at your reaction.
he, as in, your annoying buddy. hiroto yamada, your buddy for the foreign exchange program which you were unwillingly made to participate in.
you knew bad things would happen when you saw the program, yet you were made to participate in it because you had joined the university wellbeing club. curse you and your past impulsive decisions.
honestly, things were fine in the beginning. apart from the fact that you had to socialize with others and waste your breath explaining things in the university... everything was quite alright. he wasn't too extroverted, liked to keep to himself as well...
that was until you started suspecting that he liked you.
you didn't want to believe it. there was no way. like, it's literally the absolute worse thing that could happen that would disrupt your peaceful school life.
so you pretended to not see the obvious signs he threw at you. you treated him like how you used to treat him, aka like a classmate you wouldn't talk to outside of class...
so it wasn't unexpected that he'd get frustrated. in fcat, it was actually a wonder that he managed to go for so long without shouting at you to stop ignoring the signs (he lasted 6 weeks).
eventually he confessed but... you didn't accept. duh. you didn't even like him that way! you didn't even treat him like a close friend so why would you fall or accept his love?
so you rejected him. understandable response.
but he wouldn't take it for an answer.
so he constantly pestered you in hopes that you'd finally give in and say yes. which is what led you to your current situation.
"you know, trying to act like my boyfriend..."
"but I'm just practicing for the future that will happen?"
he raises an eyebrow, seemingly confused as you roll your eyes at his reply. you make no move to explain yourself because you knew that he understood what you meant. he's a smart guy after all. he just likes playing dumb to get on your nerves.
and right now he's doing that.
you honestly wanted to just beat him up but that'll never work out in your favor. so you settle for the next best thing and that's to ignore him. and it always works.
turning around to face away from him, you plug in your ear phones and tune his blabbering out as you attempt to ignore him. it worked for a little bit but he always gets irritated the second you lose interest in him.
"hey pay attention to me..."
he whines softly, tugging on your shirt. you continue to ignore him, humming softly as you scroll on social media. oh this is a nice post-
but the second you move your hand to like it, he yanks the phone out of your grip and hides it in his bag. his face displays an annoyed expression, furrowed eyebrows and downturned lips.
you wanted to smack his face so bad. and you were just about to do that until he speaks in a chilling tone.
"you can't keep ignoring me. you know that we'll end up with each other. it's inevitable."
he mumbles before caressing your cheek. you shiver, eyes wide as your blood runs cold. shit! unconsensual touch! unconsensual touch!
but as much as you hated his touch, you couldn't move away for you were too frozen in fear. he always had a way of scaring you with his voice. and he loved to abuse it.
"you're really going to make me mad... so please don't keep resisting. it's not humourous or cute."
he mutters quietly before giggling as he lets go of your face. all you do is stare at him, still frozen in place as you gulp and finally look away.
god damn it. you really should've fought harder to get out of the exchange program.

So I'm imagining a bit of a silly concept, but imagine delivery driver!reader with yanderes Dick and Jason. Like they'll keep ordering from the place reader works in hopes that reader will show up (and she will - your boss got fed up with all the 1 star reviews when anyone other than you shows up) but they act like creeps trying to get you to join in on their movie night or whatever. They totally don't realize they're being creeps, though - this is their darling! They would never scare her! But like reader gets fed up with them "propositioning" her so she has her boss put them on the do not deliver list. The boys are surprised (they knew her boss was sending all those other drivers on purpose! 🙄), but it's nothing a call to Barbara can't fix (she wants to be an Auntie ASAP - platonic yan Barbara, perhaps?)
It starts with a simple delivery to Wayne Manor, one insignificant package set their sights on you, but could you blame them? That smile when you handed Dick the package, the pretty laugh you let out when Jason said something witty, it wasn't their fault you enamored them with a single meeting, and it didn't help when you delivered their second package, about a week after the first, and remember their names, the audacity to do such a thing and not expect them to fall in love.
Anytime someone other than you shows up they're met with the coldest glares, Dick is short with them, no banter no charm, Jason straight up doesn't speak to anyone that isn't you.
They don't start to get creepy until about week three, that's how long their resolve lasts before Dick is inviting you in for a drink, you must be hot in that uniform of yours, why don't you come inside? It's cool in the manor and he's sure your boss wouldn't miss you for a few minutes.
Jason, to his credit, really does try to be casual about his interest, of course it's anything but casual, he pretends to be working on his bike when you come to get his signature, purposely showing off as he takes his time signing, intense blue eyes staring at you with an intensity that made you sweat. He says a pretty girl like you shouldn't have to work so hard, that you should have someone to take care of you, you grit your teeth biting out a smile as you snatch the tablet back as soon as he finishes signing.
It isn't until your latest delivery do you put them on the do not deliver list, as usual they were together when you rang the doorbell, Dick smiles so brightly at you, you'd think you were delivering the stars in a neatly wrapped box. "Hey (y/n)!" He greets you like a long time friend instead of someone you'd only spoken to a handful of times, "You mind bringing that inside?" He asks the question and despite its oddity, you comply bringing the package inside.
Jason closes the door behind you, causing you to jump, when the hell did he get here?
"Good to see you bunny." He was always calling you pet names, far too intimate for your liking, he smirks before taking the box from your hands, his fingers purposely brushing against yours. "You're like a little messenger fairy."
You choose to ignore him, turning to Dick, you hold out the tablet for him to sign. "We'll get to that in a minute- why don't you sit down for a sec?" He sits on the couch patting the spot beside him. "I gotta get back to my route-"
"it's midnight, you guys stop delivering after midnight right?" Jason speaks up causing you to look at him, he looks way too satisfied with himself, catching you in a lie. Feeling trapped you sit on the couch reluctantly. "What's up?" You ask looking between the two, Jason remains standing his beefy arms crossed across his chest. God he made you uneasy.
"we've noticed how hard you've been working lately and since we're friends-" you don't hide the confusion on your face at the proclamation, "-We figured you could use a break." Dick spoke almost as if he was nervous. "Come on bunny, take a load off." Jason finally sat down sandwiching you between the two.
"or- and hear me out on this one, you sign for your package and I leave?" They share a look before Dick is almost sadly signing the tablet. "Well if you ever wanna just chill or something-"
You don't hesitate you leap off the couch and run out the door, heart slamming so hard in your chest you felt the rumble in your throat.
You thought you'd be done with them after putting their names on your company's do not deliver list, and for about a week you are, until they realize what's going on and collectively lose their minds.
Barbara couldn't stand seeing two of her closest friends so down, so unlike themselves, once they explain the situation to her she's quick to act, understanding their... particular intensity when it came to love, and clearly you'd stolen their hearts, she couldn't stand to see them so upset so she quickly devizes a plan to get you back where you belong.
All it takes is hacking into your company's files to find your route and schedule, it's like child's play to her to set up the meeting, she ordered a shit ton of stuff all for you unbeknownst to you of course, all items you'd need for your upcoming vacation, Bruce had a few private islands for situations just like this one, and it be the perfect place for Dick and Jason to break you in. By the time you left the little slice of paradise, you'd be a perfect little darling.
With a smile too pretty for her deeds, she presses confirm on the order and sends a text to the guys.
"Your Darling is approaching with your order."

Max must have sensed your apprehension because he leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. "You okay?" he asked softly, his voice comforting.
"Yeah, just a little nervous," you admitted, your fingers twisting in the sheets beneath you.
"Hey," he murmured, tilting your chin up to meet his gaze. "We don't have to do anything you don't want to. Just tell me what you're comfortable with, and we'll go from there."
His reassurance eased some of your anxiety, and you nodded, taking a deep breath. "I want this, Max. I trust you."
With that, he kissed you again, deeper this time, his lips moving against yours with a gentle urgency. As his hand slid up your side, you felt the warmth of his touch through the thin fabric of your shirt. He tugged it up, and you lifted your arms to help him remove it, leaving you in just your bra. His eyes darkened as he took in the sight of you, and he leaned down to press kisses along your collarbone, his hands deftly unclasping your bra and tossing it aside.
His kisses trailed lower, and you gasped as his tongue flicked over your nipple, sending a jolt of pleasure straight to your core. "Max," you breathed, arching into him.
"I've got you," he murmured against your skin, his hand sliding down your body to rest on the waistband of your pants. "Can I?"
"Yes," you whispered, your voice barely audible.
He unbuttoned your pants and slowly slid them down, taking your underwear with them. You tensed for a moment, your nerves getting the better of you.
"Just relax," he murmured, his lips grazing your earlobe. His fingers slid beneath the fabric, finding your folds and gently exploring the slickness there. "You're so wet already."
You bit your lip, feeling a little embarrassed, "Max..."
He kissed your neck, his breath hot against your skin. "It's a good thing, love. It means you're ready."
You took a deep breath, willing yourself to relax as he slowly inserted one finger inside you. It felt strange, an unfamiliar stretch that was almost uncomfortable.
Too much?" he asked, his voice low and filled with concern.
“A little,” you admitted, biting your lip.
He kissed your nose. "That's alright," he said softly. "We'll take it slow."
He kept his movements gentle, allowing you to adjust to the feeling of his finger inside you. Gradually, the discomfort faded, replaced by a sense of pleasure as he began to move, curling his finger slightly with each thrust.
He added a second finger, stretching you, filling you, and you couldn’t help the needy sounds that spilt from your lips. The room was filled with the wet, lewd sounds of his fingers moving inside you.
Max curled his two fingers upwards, looking for the one spot that would finally send you over the edge and then he hit it. An almost pornographic scream escaped your lips, vision blurry with tears.
"Found it," he whispers, a small smile tugging at his lips. He dives his fingers deeper and deeper into you, curling them, pressing his thumb against your clit and it's enough to make your eyes roll, whilst your head hits back the pillow.
“Max, I’m—” you tried to warn him, but he knew. He could feel it in the way your walls clenched around his fingers.
Max's mouth captured yours in a heated kiss, his fingers never faltering. "Come for me, baby".
With one final, perfect stroke, you shattered, your orgasm crashing over you. You cried out Max's name, your body shaking. Max didn’t stop until you were completely spent, your body going limp beneath him.
Slowly, he withdrew his fingers, his eyes locked on yours as he brought them to his mouth and sucked them clean.
"Delicious," he said with a grin, licking his fingers clean.
"Wow, slut," you joked breathlessly, a giggle escaping your lips.
Max chuckled, leaning in to kiss you deeply, letting you taste yourself on his lips. "Only for you," he murmured against your mouth.
