This is such a good allegory, holy shit
You go to your friend’s house and Jeff Bezos is there. You’re like “are you insane? That’s Jeff Bezos, he’s evil, we need to throw him out” and your friend tries to convince you that no poor Jeff Bezos has amnesia and is in a lot of trouble so you have to help him. This is insane to you but you’re in love with your friend so you’re like okay…and then Jeff Bezos regains his memories and runs off to live out his queer love story. You’re like “well that was INSANE wasn’t it? Let’s go do boozy brunch to get over it and also I might be in love with you”…..but your friend/love of your life is like “this is awkward but I’m actually the new CEO of Amazon”…….that would be terrible wouldn’t it? Well something really similar happened to my good friend crowley
#I'd tell jeff bezos to jump out of a window too#but unlike Crowley I wouldn't stop him#he can get fucked#good omens

↳ the four times he sees the moon and stars in your eyes
character: ace trappola
synopsis: dancing is a language that is felt instead of heard, and he can feel it with every time he sees you move like silk
a/n: HAPPY LATE BDAY NATSUME @kunikame HERE'S MY BDAY PRESENT TO YOU </3 got inspired over there and. we all know how it went so it is EXTREMELY late i am so so so sorry
when he knows that you're not having a good day
He's memorized your favorite song, by beat, by melody, by note. A single note from any other song reminds him of you and all he can see is the corner of your lips flitting upwards, knowing this was the one song you adored more than anything.
One he makes you do because you're having a sad day and he just blasts your favorite song that he knows won't stop you from at least moving your head to the beat. Or swaying it from side to side. Those little moments are the ones that he holds close to his heart, even if he refuses to ever say it out loud. Unlike his symbolic counterpart, he does not wear his heart on his sleeve. He refuses to, for he will never chase someone that could not possibly fall for him back.
Ace can usually tell when you're in a bad mood and it doesn't take him long to figure out the reason why, even if you haven't told him. He says he's just smart like that, no. He knows that he cares about you so deeply that it is impossible for him not to know why you are in a bad mood.
He'll show up, play your favorite song, and ask, "Maybe a nap?"
"Ace, I can't nap with music playing."
"Pathetic."
But he knows this too. He looks at you like you've hung all the stars and the moon. There are times he believes you have. He hides it, believing that you are the sun to his moon: only bits of each other seen, never fully embracing the other.
2. when you are surrounded by your friends
"Epel, I am losing to you, I don't care that you're from the country!"
"You say that now, but I'm goin' to make you eat your words!"
"How about you--oh, it's starting!"
Ace sat next to Deuce as he watched you dance to a new game that Crowley had given you for Christmas. However, you didn't have a console. So the first years all scrounged around and got enough money to buy you one, co-owned by the others. And tonight was the night for Ramshackle to host a sleepover.
As he watched you nudge Epel aside casually to try and make him concede, his eyes softened. Forgive him for wanting to get too close to the sun, but he wanted to be around you more than he wanted oxygen. You were his oxygen. Even the darkest and gloomiest day could instantly be lit up by you.
No, what was he saying. He couldn't chase after someone who didn't like him. He was not Icarus, he wouldn't fall.
But oh, as he watched your expression, beaming at the small numbers on the screen, he knew he would plunge into the depths of the ocean if only for the promise that you would be on the sea floor, waiting for him.
Before he knew it, it was his turn. He got up quickly and grabbed Epel's controller. You pointed at Ace with your controller. "Be warned, Ace, I have not lost a single game to this dance and I don't plan on starting now."
"Big talk, you only wave your hands around to win! You don't fully dance!"
Your banter made his chest warm with affection for you. He loved it when this happened. With each word you tossed at each other, he knew that he would leave every single thing behind for you, if only for a glance from you.
3. when you are too close to him, willingly
The end of the final year was always bittersweet. Ace had grown through the years, becoming much more mature but still upholding his title as a complete lovable dumbass. Somehow, he became the housewarden, Deuce at his side. They would bicker a lot and it showed that even after all this time, they never changed. Occasionally, some of the new first years would ask if Deuce was actually the housewarden, to which Ace would be outraged.
"Can you believe that?! They thought Juice was the housewarden! Is this crown just an accessory to them!?"
You picked up another rock, checking for its smoothness. "Uh huh."
"You're not even listening!"
"No, I meant 'uh huh' as in I agree, they think it's an accessory."
Ace poked you, his lips downturned. "You think I'm stupid, don't you?"
You raised an eyebrow as you extended your hand out for him. In your hold was a smooth rock. "Your brain is as wrinkly as this rock."
"Love you too."
Ace goes back to his dorm, where Deuce is waiting for him. Deuce glances at him quizzically and then squints. As much bravado as Ace has, he knows that Ace is deep down a coward around you. "You didn't ask them to the dance, did you?"
"They insulted me--"
"No, they didn't. Answer the question."
The ginger shook his head, letting out a long and weary sigh. He had had a crush on you for the past three years and yet somehow, he had never once been able to hang out with you alone. No, either Deuce or Grim had to join you. And now he only had one shot to ask you to a dance. Perhaps he could go big. No, that wouldn't help. He would look stupid. This was so hard and for no reason. But he knew what Riddle would say if he was there. "Stop being foolish. You must do what you are meant to do." Granted, he was talking about following the rules, but he knew it applied in this case.
~
Sure enough, it had worked out in his favor. He claimed that he had never been nervous, but of course Deuce had to debunk that. He had been shaking like a chihuahua at the prospect of even asking you to the final dance of the school year.
The night was young and lively, with bubbling excitement from the third years. It would be their turn to leave next and once they did, the possibilities would be endless.
Endless, Ace thought. It was a synonym for forever, eternity even. If he didn't act soon, he could lose you for that time.
So he shoved aside his so called "pride" and went to you. "Dance with me."
"Wow, no asking anymore?"
He couldn't hold back a snort. "Okay, fine. Will you dance with me?"
"I thought you'd never ask."
Oh, how lovely was it to have you in his arms, just the two of you in your own little world. The party had slowed during this part of the night and its stillness, its calm was what made Ace realize he would rather burn than lose you. Maybe he would burn from staring at you for too long. Every star had its final dazzling moment before collapsing, after all. It seemed impossible for that to happen to you. The universe's vastness could not compare to the overwhelming emotions that belonged to him. He couldn't take it anymore.
The moon needed its sun desperately.
4. when the world stops to hold only the two of you in its hands
Domesticity was a word that he never believed in. He had a lot of energy to spare, ready for any spontaneous adventures, shenanigans and schemes.
All of that stopped when your union to him came along. He had asked the biggest question of his life a year ago and now, here you were, right in front of him as you made yourself a warm drink at 2 in the morning. You weren't tired, or more so, Ace knew that you struggled to sleep these days. So he would stay up with you.
He walked over as you stared at the bubbling pot, seemingly lost in your own little headspace. With a soft spoken voice, he gently called for your name. "You okay?"
"Yeah. Just thinking." You fiddled with your ring, the one that matched his.
Ace knew this mood of yours very well. He looked out the window, the sky dark and sprinkled with hundreds of stars. The earth seemed to be asleep, making them the only people in the universe in his mind.
With a small tug of your hands in his, he took you into his arms as he slowly began to sway with you. Side to side, a small two step. Ace was not much of a singer besides that one VDC competition back at NRC. Yet his favorite song was the one he danced with you on the day you were wed. Even now he hummed it softly as he hugged you close, afraid that if he let go, you would be far from his grasp.
But you would merely look up at him, eyes to his red ones, and it would calm him down. No, he wasn't afraid of losing you anymore. How could he? He planted a soft kiss to your head. "I love you."
"I love you too. Go to bed."
"No, you."
"Fine. Both of us."
Ace agreed, it only seemed like a fair trade. He turned off the stove and followed you to bed, curled up on you like he had grown accustomed to.
Your beginning was that of a galaxy, far out of reach and, while never getting into eternity's territory, it became that of a binary star system: gravitationally bound to each other.

Aziraphale's Anxiety
There's something I feel like we don't talk about enough when it comes to things that Aziraphale is afraid of. Fanfictions, especially human AUs, interpret his fears and his "rejection" of Crowley as a form of internalized homophobia, and given the strict oversight and corporate-megachurch-coded supervisors I get it. A lot of us have had similar experiences with religion, except Aziraphale gets the added perk of knowing that what they're threatening him with is actually real and not an abusive power play.
But anyway.
Setting side the Final Fifteen for the moment because I stand by my hypothesis that we don't know everything that was happening in that scene or exactly why the characters behaved the way they did, Aziraphale's fears have been primarily guided by a desire to protect. Usually Crowley, but not always. He meddled in Elspeth's situation to try to protect her from going to hell. And if you do the math, he wasn't wrong to do so. A couple of years of misery and poverty against an eternity of torture? For an immortal creature who actually understands the concept of eternity, it checks out.
When he said no to the holy water he wanted to protect Crowley. When he gave him the holy water, it was to protect Crowley, in a lesser of two evils kind of way. When he broke up with Crowley at the bandstand, I think several things are going on: he wanted to protect the earth, he wanted to protect Crowley, and he knew that ultimately leaving the planet wouldn't guarantee their safety because when the end came the ENTIRE universe was getting shut down, not just the earth.
And here's my favorite example: the Job minisode. We really do not talk enough about the fact that Aziraphale could have walked away from this situation at any time without consequences. He never broke the rules. Gabriel told him, All we're doing is not stopping hell. And Aziraphale didn't stop Crawley, technically; Satan's diabolical minister had already decided he wasn't killing anyone. All Aziraphale did was help him, which wasn't the same as stopping him. Rules lawyer Aziraphale my beloved.
So he didn't lie to the Supreme Archangel's face to protect himself or the kids (unless he thought they'd off the kids if they knew they had survived, but that seems unlikely, the trials were over at that point); he did it to protect Crawley. And he was fully prepared to go to hell over it. Not happy about it to be sure, but resigned. And I believe that it wasn't losing his status in heaven that upset him but losing his role as Earth's protector.
Anyway, that's just something that's been kicking around in my head. We've spent so much time between seasons reveling in fanfiction that it's easy to lose track of the canon characters. Aziraphale's anxiety has rarely been on his own behalf, and higher self esteem won't fix his problems.
I stand by my belief, however, that a roll in the hay might help. There fanfiction and I are in complete agreement.

TWST story idea (3)
Warning: Death and mild spoiler alert
Ace, Deuce, and Grim witnessed Yuu's death. It was horrible, traumatizing even. The vision of their death haunted them and played repeatedly in their minds, even as the monster in the dwarf mine was defeated.
They saw the way Yuu slowly succumbed to death from a front-row seat. The pickaxe impaled them in the middle of their chest with a sickening noise, slicing it open and splattering everything that wasn't supposed to be outside.
Yuu screamed as blood gushed out of their mouth continuously, "Kill it! Kill it quickly!"
They were terrified to move. Yuu's eyes slowly lost their light, staring at them.
It was too much; they barely remembered how they defeated the monster. However, they knew they truly defeated it because the monster's ink-like blood covered their uniform and stained their skin.
They returned to NRC with complicated feelings and a bloody magestone in hand.
How else were they going to explain that Yuu was dead? That it was their own fault that led to Yuu's death?
They confessed to the headmaster with a trembling voice filled with regret and sorrow, their eyes puffy with tears as they presented a bloody magestone stained with ink.
Only for Yuu to rush in through the door with an exasperated look.
"Hey! Why did you guys leave me behind?"
"H-huh? What?"
"Why are you here!?"
"Aren't you dead???"
An offended look crossed Yuu's face, "Guys, this isn't funny. After what we've gone through? Are you saying you want me dead?"
They got confused. Yuu is alive? But they just witnessed their death not too long ago, yet Yuu is here and fine? Sure, their uniform is tattered and also bloody…
They bring it up to Yuu, and Yuu scoffs, "What? You guys got so scared you started to hallucinate? As you can see, I'm still alive."
They spend the rest of the day thinking that maybe they did hallucinate; otherwise, it wouldn't explain why Yuu is still here.
They witnessed Yuu's death again when Riddle overblot. Trey was too slow to save Yuu, and Yuu got smashed to a pulp by the rose tree that the monster held. There was nothing left that resembled Yuu, just flesh and bones flattened on the ground with hair sticking out.
The trio screamed in horror, remembering the tragedy that may or may not have happened in the mine dwarf. Cater was taken off guard and went green at the grotesque sight, covering his mouth to stop himself from vomiting. Trey gasped, feeling a lump in his throat. He had locked eyes with Yuu just a few seconds ago and failed to do anything to save them.
When Riddle woke up in a daze, everyone around showed complicated expressions. The trio looked like they wanted to throttle Riddle, their faces full of animosity. Cater looked detached and was now pale. He was also standing still and spacing out, which was unlike him. He looked like he was trying to process something.
And Trey, Trey looked at him like he was disappointed and also regretful. His eyes were rather glassy, and his mouth opened and snapped shut repeatedly, gulping in between as though he couldn't decide what to tell him.
"You overblot, and Yuu… is dead."
It wasn't the greatest news to listen to when he wasn't aware of what he had become and had done. Riddle's face immediately morphed to horror before bawling and mumbling in between sobs about how sorry he was and how he didn't mean to.
"Guys, the headmaster is here!" yelled Yuu while panting from running, Crowley, the headmaster, followed behind them, looking worriedly at his surroundings and the victims.
In an instant, everyone's eyes went round with confusion and shock, as if they had seen a ghost. Then there were shouts, hugs, and other things.
Yuu huffed at their exclamations of seeing Yuu dead again. "Again? You guys need to see a doctor. I'm not sure why the others see me dead as well. I'm clearly alive."
"But, but—you were there!"
"Yeah, and then I went to fetch the headmaster! You guys are seeing things; I'm worried about you. You need to rest or something. It could be your imaginations and fear working together."
Despite their attempts to explain, Yuu merely cast a worried and slightly judgmental look toward them.
Yuu didn't believe them at all, and they began to doubt themselves.
This happened to multiple people. Some even said they saw Yuu fall to death, and when they came to check out, Yuu merely sprained their leg or broke a bone or two. Or when Yuu said theh knew how to fake their death when they got squeezed until their lips turned blue and breathed out their last breath as they went limp. The story of how they saw Yuu dead varied in so many ways.
And just like before, when one confronted Yuu about it, Yuu didn't believe them all, dismissing their sick sense of fun in murdering Yuu and told them to see a doctor, not taking their so-called traumatization of getting exposed to Yuu's death into consideration. They're losing their mind at this. They were not even alone in this, so what could be the reason they keep seeing Yuu's 'death'?
Could this be someone else's unique magic, or a disease that slowly affects Twisted Wonderland? Are they really that sick in the head to the point they imagine this?
It must be; there's no explanation to this mystery.
But the twist is this: Yuu got revived almost immediately, and all wounds will be healed, revealing no scars, and therefore, no evidence.
Yuu is fully aware of this, and they don't want to tell someone. So what did Yuu do when people happened to witness their death? They gaslight them all, and goddamn they nailed it. Sure, the others are spiraling into madness, but hey, Yuu's secret is safe.
Extra spice if they got really sick in the head and attempt to murder yuu just to prove something. Yuu either do like they always do or fake being a dead body until they got disposed of and then go far away just in case.

A Twisted Wonderland x Obey Me Prompt
In a past prompt, I mentioned that I often see it being an MC coming from Obey Me into Twisted Wonderland, but this revolves around the opposite.
What if MC is just kind of thrown into the Devildom from Twisted Wonderland and is super confused by everything. Like, why don't they have magic pens, do they know about blot, etc.
But here's the prompt.
MC is terrified of going with Solomon, the angels, or the demons into the human realm. Because they so desperately want it to be their world, but they don't want to go into the human realm only to go right back to Twisted Wonderland.
It's not that they don't like Twisted Wonderland, in fact, they really miss their friends. But they really want to be able to go home, to a place where they aren't constantly attacked and exploited and expected to learn an entirely new curriculum.
While I'm sure the Devildom also had a curriculum problem for a while, Diavolo is very smart and pretty perceptive. It probably wouldn't take him long after talking to MC to realize this was entirely out of their wheelhouse. Even if he didn't realize it, Barbatos or Lucifer definitely would. And unlike Crowley, he'd probably make an effort for their classes to be easier because there's no way one person can learn absolutely everything about their history, politics, current events, etc. in such a short amount of time.
And when they are finally coaxed into visiting the human world, and it's their original world, they finally let all the walls tumble, and are so happy to be home. This prompts everyone to question why this usually super apathetic human is crying their eyes out at the sight of the human realm that they're supposedly from.
And cue MC either encouraging and helping the demons to maul and maim Crowley, or desperately trying to stop them to avoid conflict between the realms.

look. i want a Crowley and Muriel Running the Bookshop Hijinks Montage as much as the next Good Omens fan, okay? but if we're trying to actually figure out what season 3 will be like, rather than just have fun daydreaming, i think we gotta focus less on season 2 and more on the book.
specifically, we need to ask: what sequel would Neil and Terry have written to this book? what would make sense, given the story they told and the tropes they used? and how does season 2 get us there?
because if i were writing a story about ineffectual field agents developing an unlikely friendship and stopping the apocalypse together, the sequel would be, "it's an apocalypse again, and this time they've both gotten promotions," not "one got a promotion and the other's getting wine-drunk about it in the bookshop."
i'm not saying it wouldn't work. it very much would work with the story we've been given via the show. but it wouldn't work as a sequel to the book. even if you read them as a couple, or as becoming a couple at the end, which i do as it reads just like every Discworld relationship, that just doesn't fit the book from a narrative standpoint. i can't imagine that's what they plotted.
and I think the Aziraphale and Crowley we have via the show, who are obviously different from the book, are going to make this very interesting. because we have a Crowley who nothing on Earth would convince to return to hell (but Aziraphale in Heaven could just push him far enough). and an Aziraphale who returned to heaven knowing, if Michael Sheen's expressions can be trusted,* that he was making a mistake.
i bet we get a supreme archangel and a duke of hell. they're both completely heartbroken. and they're fucking terrifying because of it. i can't wait.

everyone fawns over hucow!Epel, calling him cute and doting over him... it makes him so mad!! he wants everyone to see him as a big, strong, manly man! he gets all huffy with his handlers and starts nipping when they call him cute. imagine: Crowley assigns him a new handler because the other ones are sick of getting headbutted and nipped. in comes his cute new handler, and they're so perfect! they treat him well without being condescending and he really thinks he's finally gotten the perfect handler! then... he gets called cute again. Epel decides to show them how manly he is and make sure he never gets called cute again.
fun epel facts: there's concept art that was displayed at an exhibition showing epel fully cross dressed, it's p cute actually
his final design also looks almost exactly the way his grandma did when she was younger
cw: josou seme, afab reader, dubcon(reader kinda lets Epel get away w it even though they're not feeling it tbh), hybrids(hucows), male lactation, doggie style, name calling(stupid mutt, bitch, slut etc), slapping, hair pulling, blackmail,
Having been warned that your assigned cow was extremely difficult to work with, that he had run through almost a dozen handlers and that you'd probably quit in a few days had you high strung on your first meeting.
After meeting him you were confused to say the least.
Epel was polite, soft spoken, and aloof at times. It seemed to be an intentional attempt at distancing himself from you.
But he opens up to you in due time.
You see him as an equal. Unlike his past handlers you don't patronize him. He loves that.
He tries showing off for your attention often but even if his attempts aren't successful he's still going to try. He wants you to think he's cool!
Maybe the stars just aligned at the right time or Vil just trusts you enough to take care of Epel the same way he would but he's less helicoptermom-y now that you're around, much to Epels delight.
Vil will be Vil but at least he's not forcing his way into almost every facet of Epel's life anymore.
Still, not much else has changed.
It's not that he doesn’t like doing shows, he tells you. It's that they treat him more like a heifer than a bull.
He's forced to wear those stupid frilly outfits for shows, all lacey and tight, just to put on performances for venues full of older men. He hates the way they look at him.
He can't wait until his growth spurt finally kicks in, then he'll finally be taken seriously as a bull.
Milking him is easy.
The machines tickle him on good days and make him a little sore on bad ones. depending on which type of day it is he will be either staring into space blankly or blinking away frustrated tears from overstimulation hoping you don't notice.
His milk has a subtly sweet taste.
Unlike with his past handlers Epel doesn't mind taking baths with you, especially if it means getting to spend more time with you in the main house.
It means alot to him when it's you. Leaning up against your neck while basically feeling him up while washing him is almost like heaven for the boy, almost.
He wants more but you must not see how frustrated and wanting it leaves him.
It makes him so angry with you truthfully. He wants you so bad and you wouldn't even consider him in a million years.
"See! I ain't some precious lil' calf that needs protectin' so stop treatin' me like one ya bitch!" Epel shouted from behind you, yanking your head back by the hair he held in his balled up fist.
Droplets of water falling from his still damp lavender pelt onto your back in time with his thrusts.
His movements are frantic and unskilled. Too worried about clumsily chasing his own pleasure to care about much else.
The cold tile of the bathroom floor was uncomfortable to kneel on to say the least, and the hard marble of the tub pushed up against your chest uncomfortably.
The constant jostling of your body didn't make it easier to ignore.
But you didn't say as much. Trying your best to keep quiet, you don't say much of anything.
Maybe this was your fault? you had no way of knowing a quick compliment would set him off the wrong way but… maybe you should have?
Maybe letting off some steam would be good for him? the poor boy must be so pent up right? maybe it's best to let him go at it till he tires himself out.
Epel's slender hands moved from gripping your hair to desperately tugging at your hair to gripping at the fat of your hips in an attempt to keep his frantic pace.
"I really did think it would be different this time. But y'er no better. Patronizin' me just like the others" he said between pants.
A harsh slap against your thigh echoed in the bathroom before he went back to pulling at your hips.
His continued attempts at pushing his dick as far into the back of your cunt as physically possible became even more frantic, if that was even possible, he was close.
"But maybe ya' are different. I never had one of those pretty ladies let me mount them so easy before! Y'er jus' like a stupid mutt in heat."
That comment did earn a defeated whimper in reaction from you
With that Epel's petite body stiffened up and he emptied himself of all he had inside of you. White filling your insides in excess and leaking down onto the bathroom floor to form conjoined puddles.
You didn't even bother to try sitting up.
Not that you could easily with his wet warm body laid out against your back. You took this time to catch your breath while you had the chance.
His softening cock still lay nestled inside of you
"Don' fall asleep on me" he slurred " You still gotta clean me up okay? It'd be a shame if Crowley and Vil found out that the sweet new girl they trusted so quickly was a good for nothing slut that couldn't control herself around even the smallest bulls wouldn't it?"
Sitting up and pulling back enough to slip himself out of you Epel stretched.
The high pitched whine he let out as he did was cute, not that you'd verbalize that, you learned your lesson.

Ineffable Husbands eras
So I named the first section of history the Pre-Arrangement era, which of course led me thinking to how I would divide up the rest. This is of course just how I interpret the vibes, I'd love to hear thoughts!
Pre-Arrangement (4004 BC ~ 41 AD)
Getting to know each other—and themselves. They're both learning and growing in this brand new world, and they test each other out whenever the job brings them to the same place (There isn't a whole lot of place else yet to be). During this time they learn that they can not only trust each other, but the era ends with them realizing they actively enjoy each other's company. They have much more in common with each other than their respective sides.
4004 BC - Eden (Meeting. Surprising each other)
3004 BC - Mesopotamia (The flood. Aziraphale disappoints Crowley by sticking to Heaven's line.)
2500 BC - Uz (Job. Crowley tries to get Aziraphale to disappoint him again, but instead the angel puts his faith in the demon. Their Own Side is formed way back here.)
33 AD - Golgotha (Crucifixion. Crowley tests Aziraphale again, the angel passes and Crowley opens up about his name change)
41 AD - Rome (Oysters. Aziraphale is the one to reach out this time, and doesn't shy away from being unangelic.)
Formation of the Arrangement (537 ~ 1601)
Let's do this on purpose (for Strictly Business reasons). What defines this era is that Aziraphale is nervous and Crowley thinks they've got it made. Even well after they've agreed to working together, they're still doing the song and dance of Aziraphale pretending he doesn't know what's happening and Crowley seducing him into it.
537 AD - Kingdom of Wessex (Knights. Still running into each other by accident, Crowley proposes a more radical version of what will be the final agreement)
[1020ish - when the book says they reached the Arrangement]
1601 - Globe Theatre, London (Hamlet. They've switched jobs "dozens of times" by now, presumably that's at least 24 occasions but less than 100.)
And now I've gone and done math about it, so...
if the start date is also accurate for the show... by the 1600s they're meeting up at least once every 25 years on average.
(and that's for the minimum of 24 Arrangements)
In my unlikely scenario of them having 99 Arrangements already, that would bring it down to 5 years
Even if for some unlikely reason Aziraphale changed his mind and went back right away in 537, 24 Arrangements would have them meeting up on average every 44 years
Of course, these are exact averages and they aren't robots. It's likely meetings started out less often and increased in frequency as they got more comfortable. Maybe it was every 100 years in the beginning, who knows exactly! (only one man and he's not talking) Do with this information what you will. Let's move on.
Definitely Not Friends (1793 ~ 1862)
Let's do this on purpose (for personal reasons). No longer are they only arranging to meet up in-between going to each others' jobs so the other can stay home, this is going out of their way to spend time together.
During this era, Aziraphale has finally started to relax, while Crowley is doing the opposite. Turns out (in classic Crowley form) this might not have been as good an idea as he originally thought, but he's in way too deep now. The era ends when Crowley shatters Aziraphale's growing comfort.
1793 - Paris (Revolution. It's plausible that Aziraphale may have arranged this on purpose, to see Crowley without admitting that's what he wants. For his part, Crowley goes out of his way to stage a rescue, even though he's now able to admit it could get him in real trouble.)
1800 - London (Bookshop opening [from the script book, semi-canonical]. In Paris, Crowley knew Aziraphale was planning to open a bookshop, now he knows the exact date and is swinging by to bring him presents. Also sneakily puts a stop to the other angels recalling Aziraphale from Earth; just as he knew Aziraphale wouldn't like hell, he knows he wouldn't like going back to heaven either.)
1827 - Edinburgh (Grave robbing. Crowley invites Aziraphale to hang out in a graveyard in the middle of the night in what is totally not an old-timey date. The only pretense is a personal excuse ['hey angel come see this statue of your boss lmao']. This is just straight up spending time together.) Interestingly, this is also the last time we will really see them traveling together, everything from here on out is around London.
1862 - St. James Park (Holy water requested, denied. This meeting is oddly formal for all that came before it, even back in S1 when it followed right after the Paris rescue. Crowley is seriously rattled. The Holy Water request is a declaration that he would take on hell for them. Aziraphale doesn't understand and isn't ready to hear it even if he did.)
We Both Know that We Both Know (1941 ~ 1967)
We are dangerously aware of what's going on here. It is made very clear that they will both go to insane lengths to ensure the other will stay in their life. They still can't say it out loud, but the remaining pretense is tissue paper thin.
1941 - London (The Blitz. It's been 80 years since they've seen each other, and yet Crowley saunters back in right at the moment Aziraphale needs him. They spend a giddy night being ridiculous together, only to get the wake up call of their closest call yet from head office. It's the night of Aziraphale's two realizations: That they're in love, and the full weight of the danger that puts them in.)
1967 - Soho (Holy Water given. Aziraphale isn't happy about it, but he makes the decision to trust Crowley in hopes being on the same team will keep him safer than he'd be otherwise. It's the complete opposite of the decision he made to walk away 105 years ago. He also gives them both a slim glimpse of hope for the future.)
A Test of Faith (2008 ~ 2019)
Whose side are we on? 6000 years of becoming more and more of Earth while pretending that's not what they're doing, and it's finally time to either admit that or don't. Still not quite ready to admit that choosing "the world" also means each other, but they do choose their own side.
2008 - Baby antichrist delivered (Present day dates aren't outright stated, this is technically "11 years ago")
2019 - Apocawasn't (date from when S1 aired)
What Are We [Limbo] (2020 ~ 2023)
Finally free (what are we waiting for?). Stuck in a holding pattern, neither of them know how to move forward. All the coping mechanisms they've developed and sunk into over millennia are breaking down. Crowley is more stressed than ever waiting for the other shoe to fall, Aziraphale doesn't know who he is without the structure of heaven. Something needs to shake things up, and when it comes it shakes them apart.
2020 - Lockdown short (Semi-canonical. The excuse to hole up together is right there and they both clearly want it! But neither of them knows how to take that step.)
2023 - Gabriel disappears from heaven and chaos ensues (season 2 airdate)
As for what's next, I'm guessing something like:
Divorce Era (Figuring out who they are and what matters to them without the other for the first time. Throwback to the pre-Arrangement)
What Are We [Redux] (allied again, but the plot is giving us a convenient excuse to not address things between us. This is 'We Both Know' and 'Limbo' combined)
Ineffable Husbands time (when they've finally finally gotten it all out on the table. They are going to be insufferable.)
And those are my thoughts! Let me know what you think :)
#Good Omens#Good omens meta#Good omens timeline#Ineffable Husbands#V watches Good Omens#it's easy to take for granted now but i can't stop thinking about the pre arrangement era#where they're learning who they are individually for the first time in this brand new place that's also figuring out what it's going to be#at the same time that they're learning if this person is going to matter to them#they really have no idea about any of it#okay putting it that way they basically met in college. aaahaha

Crowley is afraid.
"Crowley’s love for Aziraphale isn’t big enough to make him agree to become an angel again, so it’s unlikely that he will stop being a demon."
This was in an article (a professional article!) about Good Omens. I find something very, very wrong with this.
First off, this suggests that Crowley's motives for staying on Earth are because he doesn't love Zira enough. It also implies that Crowley is wrong for not choosing to become an angel, that he is falling short of something. This is wrong.
I think that Crowley doesn't go with Aziraphale because he loves him too much. He knows that becoming angels together wouldn't be good for either of them.
Crowley hates Heaven, and he has seen their cruelty towards Aziraphale (Gabriel telling Azi to shut his stupid mouth and die, for example). He wouldn't be happy or safein Heaven. According to him, Heaven is for the naive (read: Angel Crowley), and Zira going back there is erasing all of the progress he's made. He's also afraid that he himself will revert back to who he was before, and that will defeat the whole purpose of his character: to protect.
So Crowley steps back. He loves Aziraphale too much to willingly hurt him. Crowley is, by leaving, making sure that Aziraphale only has himself to hurt. If there's anything that's been proven over the years, it's that Aziraphale needs Crowley.
So:
In S3, when Aziraphale needs help, needs Crowley, he needs to be there to help him. By going back to Heaven, Crowley would be making himself vulnerable. By going back to Heaven, Crowley is letting both Aziraphale and him be hurt by their actions.
He loves Aziraphale so much, so profoundly, that he's willing to do anything just so he can be there. Forever. For Eternity.
Crowley is always protecting, saving, loving. By submitting to the evil of Heaven, he'd be unable to do that.
He needs to be there, even if it means he has to go.

So Aziraphale’s “I forgive you” has been living rent-free in my brain, mostly because I can’t pin down why he said it, exactly. I’ve read a few bits of meta on the reasoning behind it (which were all good! No shade here), and I’m still grappling with it, especially within the greater context of the series. So I'm gonna talk it out.
I read a subpar (professional) review of the series in which the author criticized the minisodes because they felt it took them out of the story and added nothing to the modern day plot — which, let’s be serious, is a ridiculous take. Both the story of Job and the Resurrectionists provide a clear insight into how Aziraphale and Crowley see both their duties and how they interact with the world and people (both as part of their duties and also just because… they want to).
Aziraphale doesn’t want Job’s children to die, and he’s horrified at both Heaven’s lackadaisical approach to “allowing” Hell to kill Job’s children and their incapability of understanding that a child can’t simply be replaced by another child. He’s delighted to learn that Crowley isn’t carrying out Hell’s (and Heaven’s) orders, and even goes along with Crowley’s impromptu plan to “return” Job and Sitis’ children to them. He’s clearly uncomfortable lying to Gabriel et al and expects punishment — even Falling. I summarize all of this not because I don’t know y’all watched it, but because it’s insight into how Aziraphale approaches internal conflict. He doesn’t want Job’s children to die. He backs down from his protests when Gabriel et al call him out; but because he knows Crowley has been tasked with carrying it out — Crowley, who he has report with, who he knew before he Fell — he tries to prevent it from happening. He tries to appeal to Crowley’s once angelic nature to prevent the act, while simultaneously knowing that Heaven wants it to happen too. He's tempted by Crowley into following Crowley's lead, into accomplishing what he wanted to happen anyway but wouldn't do on his own.
Both Crowley and Aziraphale are hypocrites but with different end results: Crowley wants to slip under the radar by sort of following orders, while having as little to do with either side as possible. He’s a hypocrite so he won’t be bothered, even if it’s lonely. Aziraphale wants to follow orders that he agrees with, while wanting to appear holy and obedient in the sight of Heaven. He doesn’t want to be bothered either, but he wants Heaven to think well of him while he’s not being bothered. He cares about being lonely. Aziraphale wants to have his cake and eat it too, and Crowley just doesn’t want to be anywhere near cake.
The story in the Resurrectionists is tragic and fascinating from a character standpoint, because it puts Aziraphale in a position of what he considers moral authority, while ignoring the harsh reality of Elspeth and (wee) Morag’s lives. Elspeth is doing something Aziraphale (and society) considers immoral, and he actively prevents her from profiting from it; it isn’t until he understands the wider scope of how bodysnatching benefits medicine that he reconsiders. Seeing the girls in distress was not enough. He hesitates before saving Morag’s life and she dies. He doesn’t want Elspeth to kill herself, but it’s Crowley that truly intervenes (and is punished for it, unlike with Aziraphale and Job). Crowley doesn't "tempt" Aziraphale into anything, because Aziraphale doesn’t agree with Crowley, and he can only be tempted to do something he wants to.
Here's the thing: Crowley was given orders to punish Job, which he clearly disagreed with due to the suffering it would cause. He found a way around them, and roped Aziraphale into helping out.
While not given orders, Aziraphale witnessed human suffering and decided it was not enough to warrant committing a victimless crime; and when given the opportunity to do something merciful but that might put him on Heaven’s watchlist, he doesn’t. His concern over his own reputation stops him. It’s Crowley who actively prevents Elspeth from killing herself, just as it’s Crowley who tells Aziraphale to give Elspeth his money.
Aziraphale agrees with Crowley that neither Heaven nor Hell is particularly great, but unlike Crowley with Hell, Aziraphale still wants Heaven to like him. As much as he loathes Heaven’s bureaucracy and obsession with appearance, he’s still tethered to it.
So what does this have to do with his forgiving Crowley after the kiss? Well.
Just like Crowley needed a good old-fashioned talking-to by Nina and Maggie about his ~feelings~, in the time-honored fanfiction tradition of third parties helping out; I don’t think Aziraphale knows he’s in love with Crowley. He knows he loves Crowley, and if pressed I’m sure he would admit that yes, it was different than the love he felt for other things in Creation — but he wouldn’t connect the dots. He wouldn’t want to. What he and Crowley have is perfectly suitable to him, and changing anything would not only rock the boat — but it would require him to have to sort out one of those internal conflicts he finds so distasteful.
The Metatron’s plan is thus perfect: it changes things, but does so in a way that affirms Aziraphale’s own biases. The promotion to supreme archangel would put Aziraphale at the top of the hierarchy. There’s no need to take the hierarchy/bureaucracy out — Aziraphale wouldn’t want that anyway. He cares about his reputation. He's being given the opportunity to be in complete control of it.
The Metatron also validates his relationship with Crowley, and provides Aziraphale with not only the opportunity to bring Crowley with him, but to "restore" him. In Aziraphale's mind, Crowley's becoming an angel again wouldn't change who Crowley is: but it would connect him to Heaven again. Heaven can be a drag, but it's still good, and this time, Aziraphale will be in charge and he can make sure it's good enough for Crowley, who just asked questions, after all.
(And Crowley wouldn't have to be so lonely. Ignore the fact that Crowley has Aziraphale and that's all he wants.)
And this is where it all comes together.
Not only does Crowley reject his proposal, but he also insists on his perspective -- that they don't need anyone else. They don't need Heaven or Hell. (And this is off topic but I loooove the line that insinuates they basically live in each other's pockets now, as opposed to pre-Armageddon when they met up every once in a while. Love! It!) They're at their best together, and they always have been, and Aziraphale’s falling for Heaven’s bs. They can be like Gabriel and Beelzebub. They don't need anyone else.
But Aziraphale has just been told that he can have his cake and eat it too, for real this time; and to really stretch this analogy too far, he can own the bakery too. He doesn’t want what Crowley is telling him, because he wants what the Metatron has offered. Crowley wants them to be them, free of their constraints; Aziraphale wants to be them, with control over their constraints.
And then Crowley does what he always does when Aziraphale is being obstinate: he leads him to what they both want. Or, he tries -- the kiss is desperate, messy, awkward. Crowley wants Aziraphale to follow his lead, to succumb to temptation, as it were, how he always does. To know it's okay to do what they want instead of what Heaven expects, just like how it was okay with Job’s children.
Aziraphale knows what Crowley’s doing. He will not be tempted this time. He forgives Crowley for trying. He forgives him for following the steps of their usual dance. This is the Aziraphale of the Resurrectionists, full of moral conviction, not the story of Job.
(And now here's a fun kicker -- does Aziraphale know Crowley loves him, after the kiss? Or does he assume Crowley had a different intent? Aziraphale is stunned after the kiss. He’s not even sure how to define what he feels for Crowley, and Crowley kissed him? Oofa doofa.)

Stories from South Downs' Cottage: A Good Omens TS3 Project Remake
After saving the world once again and having resolved their feelings, Aziraphale and Crowley decide to settle down in a South Downs' Cottage to build the precious and peaceful exsistence they've always dreamed of.
Hey ho! I'm back and I bring you cottagecore husbands v2.0 If you were here before, then you've heard about Chronicles of Ineffability - a project that I've started a few months ago. And never finished. Life's a real bitch sometimes... But! The pause turned out to be necessary. I admit I wasn't entirely pleased with how I made Aziraphale and Crowley at first so I decided to give them a make over. They're still pretty much the same, but this time I made sure their facial features wouldn't look as sharp and buggy as it used to be. + Changed the hairstyles a bit, shopped for more realistic wrinkles, modified their bodies with cc sliders and - most importantly - added body hair. Very important, that. Very important.
The cottage is the same one from before by gorgeous Frau Engel. It was love at first sight and I think this lot is perfect for Aziraphale and Crowley. The only thing I intend to change is the inside of the house by removing some furniture and decor as if they've just moved in.
Gameplay
The story takes after hypothetical season 3 of "Good Omens" (filming starts in January - wahoo!) where Crowley and Aziraphale are supposedly to prevent The Second Coming from happening. Since the wait for season 3 is quite torturous - especially with that devastating season 2 ending - I thought it'd be great to "write a fanfiction" in The Sims 3. Don't worry there'll be no angst (except good old sims' love for drama), everything is to be quite the opposite: fluffy, funny and romantic. A few points:
I made Aziraphale and Crowley witches so they can perform miracles.
Naturally, they are not supposed to have basic human needs like bladder, hunger, hygene, ect. But, as far as I know, Crowley sleeps occasionally while Aziraphale likes to consume human food (even Reign of Terror couldn't stop him from having some crepes!). That's why I plan to somehow customize ts3 needs to suit the gameplay. At the end of the day, there's always a roleplay.
Crowley will grow plants but won't work as a gardener. However, Aziraphale will try his hand at the magician career track. The best thing is - it's a playable job! We will be able to see the Amazing Mr. Fell in action.
Possibly will add more Good Omens characters as the story progresses.

What's to come?
Aziraphale and Crowley sims models. Since some people have been asking me to share my sims, I plan to upload them here soon with all the mods I used. Not sure if it'll be all-in-one pack or you will have to download each mod separately since I'm SO VERY afraid to break my computer while trying to merge mods together. But! One way or another, I promise you I will give them to you, haha.
Lots of beautiful screenshots. And not just that, but many fun dialogues and a captivating story.
An animated series (?) - that is, a machinima of sorts. But I'm still not sure about this since it's a serious business and I'm notorious for starting and never finshing.
VERY unlikely, but perhaps my own Good Omens mods. You see, it was so damn hard to find a suitable cc for this project so I thought why not make my own? The problem is, I've never done this before. I'll have to learn Blender to make my wishes come true. And perhaps I will. And IF I do, I will gladly share it with you.
Stay tuned!

In the dark timeline, what do you think would happen if Neil Gaiman wrote it so Aziraphale and Crowley didn’t reunite and reconcile in S3? 👀
In the infinite sunshine timeline, how would everyone react if S3 was just South Downs fluff?
Finally, what’s a plot twist nobody would see coming?
OK OK putting my good omens thoughts under the cut because we're gonna be here a while. strap in.
-Dark timeline where they don't reunite and reconcile is admittedly VERY hard to envision. They've always relied on each other in some capacity whether they like it or not (literally their FIRST INTERACTION before the beginning is Crowley needing Aziraphale's help). I'd imagine Aziraphale would have a LOT to sort out on his own, and it would not be easy at all for him, if even possible given the circumstances. He'd have the whole Second Coming to handle (and also hope he can somehow thwart), all while Heaven is likely watching like a HAWK, all while he wouldn't want to be doing any of it at all. For the first time in thousands of years he'd be truly alone, and I doubt he'd have a plan that would feel reliable. It would be awful. There's only so much a single angel can do. The Book of Life is also a very real threat. Falling is also something he's still worried about. He'd have to get VERY lucky. I doubt he could just sway the Metatron into a different opinion (although I'm sure he'll try). I think he's pretty fucked unless God were to intervene and look out for him.
Not that he'd be satisfied in the end, even if the world was saved and everything was fine. He'd never forgive himself if he didn't reconcile with Crowley by the end of things, I'd imagine.
I also think Crowley would never shake the feeling of something being wrong, even if Aziraphale doesn't reach out to him for help (which... come on. He will. Where else could he go?). He always expected a "big one", he just doesn't know when or where it'll happen, but obviously Heaven would need Aziraphale for SOMETHING. They wanted to erase Gabriel's memories because he refused to do Armageddon 2.0! Do you really think that's gonna stop them? That they won't just try again? Their whole deal is that they're insistent on this. They won't let up. That's not gonna change no matter who's in charge, and he knows it. I can't see Crowley giving up on Earth until it's too late, maybe abandoning ship last second as to avoid his own demise, but it's a question as to what he could piece together on his own, whether or not Hell would still tell him things, etc when it comes to what he'd actually try to achieve. After all, you can't thwart what you don't know the details of. It would be a lost cause. (Personally, I don't see him becoming a Duke of Hell either; it's something I can enjoy in fanworks but I don't see him as the type to take that deal even to 'spite Aziraphale' in canon. Not unless he hoped to get intel? But I think he'd much rather not have them watching him.)
Could either of them thwart the Second Coming on their own or with others besides each other? Very, very unlikely, and it would be a very close call, and probably still entail other sorts of disaster. Could they do it without crossing paths at least once? Also very unlikely. (After all, the entire driving force of S1/the book is how many people come together for Armageddon in attempts to either start or stop it). If they work at this and want to stand a chance they're doomed to reunite, and therefore, doomed to reconcile. They would quite literally have to be exterminated or wiped out of the Book of Life in order to never reunite (and I just don't think this is that kind of story). Make of this what you will.
(I also can't see them just being able to go back to before their feelings were revealed to each other, either. There's no pretending it isn't there, anymore. Crowley said as much. No more hiding. I don't think this doomed their relationship going forward, even if it may take a while to fully smooth things over.)
TL;DR They'd fight like hell for Earth, probably wouldn't be able to succeed without the other, probably die trying anyways and with many regrets regarding each other. Best case scenario God personally intervenes out of the blue and mercifully decides to thwart Heaven's own plan but they both still spend the rest of eternity thinking of what could've been. They'd hate it. They'd miss each other SO BAD and would (fail to) pretend they didn't.
-Pure South Downs fluff would be such tonal whiplash lmao and would also feel kinda unearned? I think fluffier moments shine brightest when the characters have had to work for it a little and Aziraphale/Crowley still have a LOT of problems that need to be sorted in order to be able to be happy together. (Also it's just... not gonna happen. You can't tease the Second Coming and then skip past it to an "everything's fine" future.) The entire point of S3 for me is we KNOW where they'll end up- we want to see HOW. It's not a story without stakes and consequences and a bit of risk, at least when it comes to Good Omens. That isn't to say that they need to be tortured or whatever in S3 to feel earned, but we need to see a lot of things get wrapped up (Second Coming, Aziraphale needs Heaven to leave him alone + needs to be able to work through his complicated feelings regarding it, Crowley needs for Hell to stop calling on him, they need to be able to safely communicate what they want, they need to talk about the kiss, etc). We want to see these!! We can't get these without a bit of hurt. I wanna see them break free more than I want pure fluff. That's just me though.
(With that being said, I hope that at least they get a BIT of time next season to just... be together. Happily. And do some of the things they couldn't before. And by a 'bit of time' I mean 'I sure do hope it's more than like 2 minutes before the credits roll but I will take literally anything I can get at this point'. There's potential here!!! So much of it!!! And they deserve it!!! It's just not the show's tone for it to take up that much time. I'd miss the chaos too much I think, and I'd miss the catharsis of seeing a character finally getting what they want in real time. Just a BIT of fluff at the end though, all I ask. This could insta-kill me.)
TL;DR Bit too much!!! I want them to bicker!!! In a way that's framed comically!!! This is a comedy show!!! And I want to watch them get through hard times!!! I just also want them to make out afterwards and also save the world and stuff. Then I'll be satisfied.
-Honestly I haven't thought much about possible plot twists in S3? I take the Final Fifteen pretty "straightforward" (I don't think the coffee is spiked, I don't think they stopped time, I don't think they body swapped, I don't think the Metatron will be "secretly good", etc) so I don't think there's really enough to go off of at the moment for me when it comes to the plot itself, let alone plot twists for it. I will say though if God is in S3 I will lose my shit; I have a feeling She wouldn't be "caring" but not 100% pure dark evil either if we DO see Her. I don't think She won't be what most fans expect. (Of course, that's just in the hypothetical that She appears. Who knows?)
TL;DR Where is God I'm scared
It took me over an hour to draft this response my bad

The Fall If you were to ask Crowley why he Fell, he would say it's because he asked questions. But that's not the whole story. (if s3 comes out and we get canon backstory that debunks all of this I'll probably change it. Unless (unlikely) I don't like it. It wouldn't be the first time I looked at canon and went "Nah")
Kabaiel was a fairly lonely angel. He had a tendency to get so caught up in his work it would give him tunnel vision, which made him a bit off-putting to a lot of other angels. It wasn't intentional, but he would brush them off or not fully register what they might be saying or doing, often not even remembering other angels even if he'd spoken with them in the past. Add his inquisitive nature to that, and it didn't take long for most other angels to give him a fairly wide berth unless they needed to talk to or work with him. And it was lonely. Which only served to make him throw himself into his work even more, to distract himself. His only friend, really, was Aziraphale, but they weren't assigned to work on the same projects and didn't cross paths often enough to keep the loneliness at bay. In s1, Crowley claims he just hung around the wrong people. And he did, but the thing is he was specifically targeted by Lucifer. Lucifer wanted to rebel, and he intended to take over. And if he was going to be running things, he needed powerful angels on his side. Kabaiel could create cosmos, he could stop and re-start time, he could touch the very fabric of existence---and Lucifer wanted that power in his corner. Seeing Kabaiel's isolation from other angels was a perfect 'in' for him. Suddenly, Kabaiel had a 'friend' that was encouraging his curiosity, agreeing with his criticisms of the Plan, making him feel like his thoughts and ideas were valued rather than something to be ashamed of. He finally felt like he had a place among his fellow angels, like he belonged. He was deceived into following along with Lucifer's plan and the rebellion, thinking they could make things better---before he knew it, he was fighting in a war against the rest of Heaven. Of course, once he Fell, he saw Lucifer's "friendship" for what it was; a ploy. But by then it was too late. It's always too late.

Hi yes hello this is my assessment of whether Beelzebub could beat the rest of the main cast in a fight, either a physical fight or insults because everyone in this show is petty for some reason.
Beelzebub:
Gabriel - Draw for both because they refuse to fight. They may bite him once. Gabriel used to be an asshole so he could say some mean shit if he wanted to but he would never.
Crowley - Physical fight is a tie they’re both pretty strong. Depends on if they get powers or not I think. Verbal fight, Beelzebub brings up Aziraphale leaving and Crowley folds like a leaf. They probably apologise though.
Aziraphale - Okay I’m sorry. Aziraphale would give it a good shot, but ultimately Beez would kick his ass. He can dance (I mean he could try using that for kicking?) but I really don’t think this angel has done much exercise in his long life (unless he’s done karate and we never found out) and he’s just soft in general. Southern pansy and all that. Give him his sword they’ll still manage to find a way to beat him. They’re sneaky. Verbal…Tie. It’s unstoppable force VS immovable object. Aziraphale is bitchier but Bee has thicker skin so the insults are doing more psychic damage to their partners listening on in disbelief at how creative the insults get than it does them. Eventually they just call truce because they have better shit to do than talk shit. Namely stop their partners talking shit, as you will see below.
Gabriel:
Beelzebub - See Bees section.
Crowley - Gabriel puts up a decent fight but Crowley knocks him out after a while. Gabriel looks strong and I know he runs sometimes (I assume that time Aziraphale bumped into him in the park wasn’t the only time) but he’s lived a pretty cushy life up in heaven. Not much manual labour. Verbal is a tie but unlike A and B, it’s not unstoppable force VS immovable object, it’s two toddlers hitting eachother then crying when it hurts. They can both dish it out but neither can take it back. They’re both sensitive. Gabriel squeaks his way into a win via yet another ‘Aziraphale leaving’ comment. He also apologises.
Aziraphale - Physical fight…as I’ve mentioned both of them are pretty soft. I say maybe Aziraphale eeks out a win just based on the fact he’s probably smarter about exactly how he fights. Gabriel has a little bit of an ego. For verbal yet again Gabriel can dish it out but can’t take it. Aziraphale wins on ‘chicken’ rules where the first to either cry or get stumped on what to say next loses.
...damn- accurate-
Heyhey now, I think I'd have at least a little bit of a thicker skin-!
*whispers* he wouldn't, he'd cave, he's too used to being Sir Bitch-A-Lot

Blood for Vanes, Diaval, and Mira?
Thank you for the ask!!❤️
I think this is a question that can have many answers, so I'm going to assume it was a murderer
Vanes
His first reaction would probably be to run away, regardless of whether the culprit is close or not. Vanes has never seen a body in his life so he would be pretty traumatized and would put his life first
Vanes wouldn't be able to get the image out of his mind for a long time and would feel sick when he saw the body
If he was the first to find out about the incident, no he wasn't
Diaval
Unlike Vanes, Diaval has a more resistant psychology for these things, especially because he was trained for it
He would become more alert and remain strong, looking for logical situations to understand what happened
After the incident he would increase his focus to find any type of answer and monitor the place, in addition to the fact that he knows how to defend himself very well
However, he is still a teenager, so despite trying to remain as responsible and calm as possible, he would still be disturbed by the situation. This could result in him acting more agitated than he normally is
Mira
He's not scared, he doesn't know the person so why would be? In fact, Mira would be exactly angry about what happened, especially if it was at the NRC
As he is a member of staff, Mira is automatically involved in the situation and will have a huge headache. His first reaction would be to block all portals immediately to prevent the culprit from escaping
I think that in situations like this, while Crowley would resolve the situation with the students and authorities, Mira would act in the shadows
But going back to the initial question, I believe that Mira would feel more sad and angry than scared, among everyone on the list he's the one more used to these things
He would probably think for a long time what this person could have experienced if they hadn't died so young and blame himself for not being able to stop something like that

I'm watching the second season of good omens and I'm starting to think that i was wrong on my theory that Crowley fell for Aziraphale first. Because in the first season we see Crowley showing up anytime Aziraphale is in danger, for example in the French prison and generally being close to him. And then way later, in the scene in the church Crowley gives Aziraphale his books, claiming it to be "a demonic miracle of it's own" and offering him a lift. Aziraphale just looks after him with an expression that is undeniably realization, which i think was also confirmed in some interview, although i'm not sure, to be the moment where Aziraphale realizes that he's indeed in love with Crowley. So i was sure Crowley has been pining after him since the beginning while Aziraphale has only for a few decades. But in the very beginning of season two, we see the creation of the universe and Aziraphale and Crowley (still an angel then) talking to each other and Aziraphale has the very same expression as in the previously mentioned scene, he smiles at him warmly for heaven's sake while Crowley seems... not interested in him all that much? But then we see Crowley protecting Aziraphale with his wing which is a parallel of a scene in season one where Aziraphale protects him. So he does care, i think?
So now i don't know when exactly Crowley fell in love with Aziraphale but most importantly i don't know why everything that's happening between them is happening, if they were interested in each other since the beginning. Like, the literal beginning of times. Maybe Crowley falling, i'm sorry, sauntering vaguely downwards, somehow erased his memory and made him forget Aziraphale? That seems unlikely as in season two Crowley says "that's how it started for me", referencing the process of him becoming a fallen angel. So he does remember. So maybe it somehow erased Aziraphale's memories about Crowley? It would explain him having that look in a church, but it doesn't make any sense. Why would one angel falling cause erasing memories of another? Maybe it's a standard procedure in heaven. So no one misses them. So no one follows their path. It's possible. But if the authorities (archangels, possibly) care so much, why didn't they interfere later on, when they started meeting again? Why didn't they stop the process of Crowley tempting Aziraphale? It's possible that they just don't care for Aziraphale, we've seen how they treat him. Still, it is very unprofessional and possibly dangerous for their mission.
Or maybe it's just their wonderful communication. Maybe they really were in love with each other since the beginning of times and decided to just pine after each other for six thousand years. At this point i wouldn't be surprised. That's Ineffable Husbands for ya.
