Omgggg I love Sevikas and readers little found family with Jinx and Isha. Do you ever think that, over time, Jinx and Isha would pick up on some of their mannerisms, especially Isha 'cause she's so young?

I can just imagine reader having this face she shows when she's disgusted and then one day they're all hanging out and Isha sees something she thinks is disgusting and can copy the face almost exactly.

even before isha joins your little family, there are certain quirks in jinx that you can easily identify as sevika's. as much as they claim they hated each other before silco's death, sevika was still a pretty big influence on jinx during her formative years.

jinx has learned how to scowl the same way sevika does, and she's nailed sevika's annoyed eye rolls.

the two both refuse to open packaging with scissors or knives-- both tearing into food packages with their teeth.

and, over time, jinx has taken on sevika's eating habits-- swirling all the food on her plate into one mass of mush before eating, claiming 'it helps mix the flavors.' just like sevika does.

but then isha joins your little family, and both her and jinx start picking up on more and more of you and sevika's quirks.

sevika sneezes loud as hell. like, scare the shit out of you loud. it's one of the most annoying things about her, and she can't control it no matter how hard she tries.

so when isha starts sneezing like she's being punted in the stomach, a loud, guttural "AAACH!" coming from the little girl-- you can't help but cackle each and every time. (especially when she manages to scare sevika, because it's so satisfying to watch your wife be on the receiving end of being startled by a loud sneeze.)

every morning, the first thing you do once you wake up (and give sevika her good morning kisses and cuddles) is some quick yoga in the living room. it's nothing fancy-- it's just ten minutes of stretches and yawns-- but it always manages to help you feel awake and ready for the day.

lately, jinx has been joining you.

you'll wander into the living room rubbing sleep out of your eyes, only to find jinx there, sipping a cup of coffee and soaking up the rising sun. you're both wordless as you sit on the floor, stretching and waking up together. jinx copies your movements sometimes, but sometimes she just stretches the way she feels like she needs. the best part is at the very end when you do partnered stretches, the pair of you taking turns to pull one another's arms and stretch each other's legs. it's nice.

isha being nonverbal means she communicates mostly through facial expressions. sevika being a woman of few words also means she communicates mostly through facial expressions. sometimes, it's a little uncanny how similar isha's 'you've got to be shitting me' face is to your wife's. or her 'i'm so excited but i'm trying to play it cool' face. or her 'i'm hungry and tired and unamused.' face.

and one night, as you're drifting off to sleep, sevika leans forward and kisses your forehead. "love you." she whispers. you sleepily scrunch your face, and sevika chuckles. "isha makes the same face when she's sleepin' and i tell 'er that. first time she did it i almost cried-- it's so you."

you force your sleepy eyes open to stare up at your smiling wife. "i really like our family, sev." you mumble.

sevika grins and swoops down to kiss you. "me too, baby." she giggles.

Got this ask just a little bit before I posted that Capril post so I suppose that answers your question about Casey and April lmao. At first they don't get along, basically exactly how it is in canon, until after season two which is when they start getting to know each other properly and then get all gay for each other lol.

Donnie thinks Casey is very very (that's two verys) annoying. She's loud, impulsive and way too hot-headed. Casey thinks Donnie is annoying cause he's a condescending know-it-all who is also way too hot-headed. Needless to say, they fight a lot XD. They start getting along better eventually and honestly become very close friends, but they still bicker all the time, that's just their dynamic now.

Mikey initially hates Casey purely because she's human and he thinks she's a bad influence on Raph (which maybe she is a little bit sometimes lmao let's be real) but he starts liking her more after he let's go of the whole hating-all-humans thing. I'm not 100% sure what Mikey's or Leo's dynamic with Casey looks like after they all start getting along better honestly. I think they both like Casey's craziness in limited amounts, but can quickly grow tired of it too. They do eventually both befriend her, but they're not as close to her as Raph is.

Casey's dynamic with Splinter is basically the same as what we see in canon honestly. With Draxum however it's different, they kinda bonded a bit in canon when Drax was working with The Foot, but Raph kinda steals that role in the AU so Draxum and Casey never really interacted much, if at all. After Raph and Casey starts to properly hang out as friends around season 2, then I'd imagine he gets to know her a bit better. Similarly to Mikey, he kinda views her as a bad influnence, but eventually starts appreciating her and Raph's friendship.

Then we get to Junior! In the bad timeline, while Casey does still die before CJ is sent back in time, she survives quite a long time. I'm thinking she dies when CJ is around 15-16 or something? A few years before the resistance falls but she's around for most of CJ's childhood. Which you know, it's nice for CJ to have his mom around, until she dies, and because she's been such a big part of his life before then her death arguably effects him more. By the time CJ travels back to the past, he's had a few years to deal with his mom's death, but by "dealing" with it I mean he's mostly been ignoring his grief cuz he straight up didn't have time for all that in the middle of the apocalypse. So when he ends up meeting the present timeline's Casey it's uh, it's a lot, and he's suddenly forced to confront all of that unresolved grief. I still need to figure out more of the details of exactly what their dynamic looks like, but needless to say is that CJ acts VERY awkwardly around Casey in the present timeline initially cuz that's just straight up his dead mom but also she's his age and also doesn't know him and it's weird XD I will say though, as soon as Casey figured out who CJ is she immidietly goes "FUCK YEAH that's my SON" so there's that

Dark Angels: How'd you even get a group of them together without killing eachother? Impressive.

Ultramarines: A good harem of space marines to have. Organized too, there may or may not be a spreadsheet of wife time that exists but they firmly deny it.

Alpha Legion: Sneaky harem, each of them likes to sneak into your room and try and have time with you alone, only to get busted by the others also doing the same thing.

Iron Warriors: Don't.

Luna Wolves/Sons of Horus: Not a bad choice, though if there's going to be a harem happening in his legion, it's probably going to be Horus, his wife, and his Mournival just being real here. He's not allowing shit like that to happen without his presence.

World Eaters: Don't. Don't put multiple of these guys in the same room it isn't going to end well. They're like bettas.

Word Bearers: They really go hard on the worshipping thing. You are their princess and it's cute at first, but they get very overbearing. At least they don't fight with eachother much.

Blood Angels: They are some of the best, the only major downside is all of them have an appetite, so there's probably not going to be many times where you aren't somewhat woozy.

Iron Hands: Terrible, but mostly because their aloof and stoic nature isn't as cute as Imperial fists.

Emperor's Children: They are all super dedicated and love showering you in gifts. Don't think too hard about where they came from.

Imperial Fists: You have the most emotionally constipated men ever. They are incredibly protective and you have never felt safer, but they also have the emotive potential of a piece of sheet metal.

Space Wolves: The most chaotic bunch of husbands ever. They are always fighting with eachother, mostly joking but it sometimes gets serious, and most of the time it isn't even about you. Are terrible at sharing, and someones lost a finger because of a brawl over wife rights.

Death Guard: Your stinky, stinky husbands are terrible. They really like bringing you flowers though.

Thousand Sons: They all argue with each other nonstop which is annoying, but every now and again they'll work together and you'll have the best, warp fuckery filled night of your life.

Salamanders: As you would've expected, you've won the lottery. You have some of the best astartes in the galaxy who are quite happy to have you as well. They all know how to share, and don't try and kill eachother which given previous legions is a definite plus.

Raven Guard: They're pretty calm by the standards of others on this list, so not the worst. It can get a bit annoying to manage each of their depressive pouting fits though.

Night Lords: DON'T? As fun as it might seem to be a barracks bunny for a group of chunky Night Lords, this is a terrible idea. There's a non 0% chance you'll end up as a snack, and not the fun kind.

White Scars: Probably the best harem to be honest, given they probably have actual harems on Chogoris so the whole thing is familiar. Each are equally proud of their wife and it's really cute.

I'll go in order of character (art) so-

Ralph: After getting home from the island, his parents (more likely just his mom) immediately enrolled him in a military or private school and started kinda smothering him to keep him safe. Now, in his adulthood, he's living a sort-of normal life but he is still dealing with all of the trauma and stuff from the island and his childhood in general (I mean, these kids all spent their early teen years in the midst of a war. That's scary as hell). He either lives alone in a house his parents bought him or he lives in an apartment with some random ass roommates he barely knows. Lol

Jack: Catholic priest and head of the local Church's adult choir (are these things that someone can be at the same time? Idk just pretend). His whole life basically revolves around Church at this point as it's one of his only escapes from "real life". His "real life" mostly consists of putting up with his friend's crap and trying to find his place in the world. After the island, he's been trying his best to better, he really is, but he's still the same manipulative and easily-annoyed kid at heart. But hes doing his best!! :) (dear Catholics of Tumblr please correct me on anything I get wrong with him 🙏 I'm LDS so I dont know much about Catholicism lol (I will do research though!!))

Roger: You know when you go out in public and theres like at least one guy all in black and leather and you try to ignore him but cant because you're scared of him? Roger's totally that guy. He isnt all too rude to random people but he's very quiet and he keeps to himself (especially in public). He doesnt really go to Chuorch anymore but he's still Jack's #1 fan boy. He's sort of in contact with Maurice but they aren't the friends they used to be. After the island, Roger probably went home and his parents tried to help him out with his mental state and all that but whatever they were doing didnt help too much and he's still basically the same way he was before the island. He's probably more quiet than before though.

Maurice: Probably just some normal dude. He's an accountant, he has two daughters and a wife, he goes to Church on sundays. He's just a normal guy basically. He probably named his kids something like Maureen and Nancy (they're so twins and they're around 12 or so? Maybe younger idk). He's still good friends with Jack and they both have a lot of respect for eachother. He doesn't talk to Roger much, maybe a couple times a month, and he's sorta scared of him but he doesnt mind him all too much. Like, if he saw him in public (uhhh let's just say at a McDonalds) he'd probably go up to him and try to come up with conversation but like.. Roger's eating and quiet so he isnt saying anything so Maurice just kinda leaves. Idk lol. Maurice is a fun guy I like him. He probably likes parties.

I havent drawn them yet and they probably look the same and are similar so uhhh

Samneric: They probably both have normal enough lives. Similarly to Maurice, they probably just live in nice houses with their kids and whatever. They're still basically inseparable though and they can still do the whole "twin telepathy" thing XD. Very random addition but they sorta remind me of the triplets from Boss Baby lol (even though Samneric are twins and the triplets are... triplets). I dont know what else to say about them.

In Sharing Is Caring But We Never Learned How, I really loved how you wrote Vector Espio and Charmy. Even though they weren't the focus of the fic I wanted to ask if you had any ideas about them and their dynamic!

You know, I was wondering if anyone was curious about them! I'm so happy you asked! :D

I like to imagine that Vector and Espio met while they were both in the foster care system. They're so young to be running a business and raising a small child, I figure it makes sense that they felt like they were on their own pretty early on. They ended up in the same residential treatment program when Vector was about 16 and Espio was 12 and hit it off surprisingly well, to the point that when Vector aged out of the system two years later, he took Espio with him (I need to amend Espio's age in Sharing is Caring btw, I meant to make him 15 since his ages have mostly skewed older than Sonic over the years, but I totally forgot since I wrote that note like two years ago xD).

Even though Vector's older, and technically the one responsible over both Espio and Charmy, he treats Espio as more of a partner with equal footing in terms of responsibilities, rather than as a son or younger brother. Espio definitely doesn't see Vector as any sort of authority figure beyond potential "boss" and that's mostly because he's more front-facing with clients and handles the finances, lol. And also Espio can’t legally be listed on any of the business' official paperwork until he’s 16 xD They do consider one another family, but since they weren't really raised from childhood together, their bond is hard for them to describe. It's why Vector's so keen to just call Espio and Charmy "his boys." It encompasses everything anyone needs to know about them both, lol. They're his boys!

Now Charmy is absolutely Vector's son xD Espio is usually more of an older brother figure to Charmy, but there are times where he's also better at disciplining Charmy than Vector is, lol. Of course, Espio will often take the “I told you so” route whenever Vector fails to rein Charmy in instead of actually helping. But there are times – moreso when they’re older – that Espio feels somewhat of a parental responsibility for Charmy. The lines of their little family unit are exceptionally blurred, but they don't really care. It works for them!

Espio is stern, but overall more patient with Charmy, while Vector tries to play "good cop" to Espio's "bad cop," but will lose his temper a lot quicker, leading to physical hijinks like grabbing at Charmy or sitting on him, but Charmy just thinks of it as a game. Pushing Vector and Espio’s buttons, to see how much he can get away with, is all part of the fun! Especially because he knows Vector is actually a huge softy at heart and would let Charmy get away with murder no matter how much he annoys him xD Overall, Charmy sees Vector as more of his dad than he does Espio, but he looks up to them both and will imitate certain traits of theirs that he admires. Usually it’s Vector’s business-savvy (or lack thereof, lol) and Espio’s ninja skills.

I want Vector and Espio to have met Charmy while on their first official case, I’m just not sure what that looks like just yet. But they found him when he was very young – only a year or two old – and couldn’t just leave the little guy on his own. Since Vector would’ve already been a licensed foster parent to have Espio with him, he’d be all set to take Charmy in, too.

There’s still more to their background and dynamic that I haven’t fully explored yet, but that’s the basis of what I have for them so far! Thanks for asking!

I can understand where you're coming from. I've been in this fandom since 2013, and believe me, I've seen a ton of hate xD Where there are fans there are also antis, this is mostly an unavoidable phenomenon and the best we can do is accept it.

But anon, they key is to not give antis any leeway to come and camp out in your space. If you have something you love, be it a ship, a fandom, a hobby or anything, it's yours to love and enjoy. You don't have to let the antis come in and talk shit about it. You see them from the window, they're outside, but don't open the door.

Instead, invite in the people who feel the same way as you.

Tumblr is the only place I'm on, for fandom and community and pretty much everything else, but believe me, I see so many rancid posts here that I actually go: "what the actual fuck". Some of these posts spill into the 'Aruani' tag for no reason at all other than to incite a ship-war. It's really unnecessary and also annoying, but unfortunately some people feed off the drama.

Obviously, I can't block the tag, but if it's really getting to me, I block the user.

Omg, so I was readin someone elses reaction to the finale and they said this and a light-bulb went off possibly in my head.

What if the "but you think I do?" (Have daddy issues") and "god I hope so" (T kinda muttered into his wine glass) is that Tommy thinks the only reason Buck is into him or could be into him is because of said daddy issues and he's actually insecure about it.

Like that would kinda connect to his snide remark about closet space on their first date. Just saying.

Like their communications are just a little bit off. But instead of saying something real, again Tommy is hoping that Buck will understand his subtle jab about something without him having to come out and just say it.

Like Tommy thinks possibly the only reason Buck is with him is because of his Daddy issues (because Tommy is older etc) but they've never talked about it.

Also the jab about the closet space on their first date? Buck thought they were still going to see a movie until a car showed up & it was only for Tommy and Tommy left him stranded in front of the restaurant. What if they're still there, relationship-wise?

Tommy said Buck was adorable and all that, but still left him there. Like he might legit want this 'ship to work, but they just don't seem to be like in the same place in their lives. Ya know?

I guess tl;dr : Tommy really does want it to work with Buck but thinks Buck might only be with him because of his "daddy issues" and he'll take it because he likes Buck. But they just suck at communicating and want different things/aren't in the like same place in their lives.

Also they communicate differently. Tommy does snarky jabs & dry "humor" hoping people (or Buck) will understand what he means without him having to come out and say what he actually means. And Buck idk, likes honesty and talking upfront? Idk. And so a lot of the snark might go over his head? And a massive people-pleaser.

I do think you're onto something about the communication issues but my feeling about B/T is this:

I personally think T*mmy was originally pursuing Eddie. When you watch 704 T*mmy is all about Eddie. By the end of the ep T*mmy has figured out Eddie isn't available/still in the closet and Buck tells T*mmy he was trying to get his attention. But even T*mmy knows that's not true. I'm positive T*mmy knows there's something between Buck and Eddie. Still I think he likes Buck and thinks he's hot and decides to go for it with him.

But you can see in pretty much every interaction that T*mmy has with Buck that T*mmy does not see him as an equal. In 704 When Buck came to the hanger for a tour T*mmy didn't tell him ahead of time that he was going to be leaving to go with Eddie. Eddie just showed up and T*mmy took off. T*mmy called Buck kid (you know like Bobby does). T*mmy calls Buck Evan even though there's no sign that Buck ever asked him to do that and we've been told quite explicitly from Buck himself (to his parents) that people who really know him call him Buck.

T*mmy is the one who jumps in and kisses Buck first. Which I know was written to be this passionate moment but at the same time it also shows how T*mmy is controlling most things in that relationship. T*mmy plans their first date and where it's going to be. T*mmy seems annoyed when Buck is nervous on the date. T*mmy chooses to end the date without much explanation and leaves Buck at the restaurant.

The coffee date is one of the better interactions between B/T and may come across on the surface like they're on equal ground but again it's mostly T*mmy here that is in control. Buck is the one waiting at the restaurant not knowing if T*mmy is even going to show up. Then Buck asks T*mmy to be his date for Maddie's wedding and has to wait on T*mmy for an answer. Also T*mmy laughs at Buck when he asks him to be his date. Which I know wasn't supposed to be this harsh judgmental reaction but still this is the first time Buck is asking a guy to be his date to something important and this is T*mmy's (initial) response.

At the bachelor party T*mmy chooses to not wear anything remotely on theme and is then dismissive when Buck seems hurt that he didn't care. He's also on call and can't stay. I'm not sure how far in advance Buck asked him to go to Maddie's wedding but I assume it was far enough that T*mmy could have asked for that time off so he could be there but he didn't.

In 709 Buck is excited about the award ceremony and T*mmy responds to him by saying "enjoy it while it lasts". This is Buck's first big award as a firefighter he should be on cloud nine and the guy he's seeing should be thrilled for him but again T*mmy just comes off like he doesn't care. Some would argue that's just his general demeanor but that just highlights how different T*mmy and Buck are.

In 710 there's the dinner scene. Where Buck is trying to open up about his fears of losing the only real father figure he's known in Bobby and T*mmy's reaction is to again be dismissive, make it about himself, and change the subject to something sexual.

Again you're right Buck and T*mmy do communicate differently too differently in my opinion but I think they're very intentionally being written that way. Particularly in scenes when we've had Buck, T*mmy, and Eddie together like in 706. We're meant to see how much T*mmy just doesn't get Buck and how much Eddie does.

I don't think T*mmy is worried that Buck is with him because of his "daddy issues" rather I think T*mmy likes the idea of being in control both in an outside of the bedroom and that's the main part of the attraction for him with Buck. But much like Taylor when things aren't physical there is very little substance to their relationship and Buck will come to realize that.

I think because T*mmy is connected to Buck figuring out his sexuality and how new and exciting all of that feels to Buck he's lumped a lot of his feelings for T*mmy in there. So everything with T*mmy right now feels new and exciting and fun but eventually Buck will have to take a long hard look at this relationship (just like he had to with Taylor) and realize that this person doesn't really make him happy and doesn't really get who he is as a person.

Character motivation-wise, logic-wise, YES. IT MAKES SENSE TO BOOT HER HERE.

It WOULD be bullshit if they didn't.

Also Ellie completely fucked up her game with the Lake blindside, THAT'S what really did her in here. YES I'M GONNA MAKE ANOTHER LIST. NOW I CAN CAUSE SHE'S GONE.

Tess's betrayal does make sense. She's a girl who values morals above the game. It's very in line with her character in Season 2. Aiden and Tom were obviously going to vote Ellie as well, especially Tom.

IT DOES MAKE SENSE.

But... idk. I feel like Ellie could've stayed longer.

Obviously I don't know the full elimination order of this season, so my statement here may change. I feel like Ellie should have lasted longer in this season.

But I don't know who they could've booted instead. That's the problem.

Tom and Aiden have a plotline. Jake has a plotline. Allyson has a plotline. The yellow team has a plotline, so it makes no sense for any of them to go. Tess doesn't make any sense. Gabby doesn't make any sense. Ashley doesn't make any sense.

So yeah, Ellie really was the only person that could've logically been eliminated in this episode. There's no other option.

Ellie's a very complex character as is. I diss on her for her lack of smarts, but I actually do like her character and I wanted to see more of her.

Her joining the villains? Interesting. Very interesting choice. She would do this. Not because she's evil, but because she feels like it's a safe bet to winning, her main objective. She IS willing to ditch her moralities to get that money. Cause she needs it. She's DESPERATE.

So when they had Gabby not be given the knowledge of this happening and her finding out, and forcing Ellie to choose between her greed and her love for Gabby + her morals? THAT'S SO INTERESTING.

And I thought this would be an arc for her over multiple episodes. Maybe she even infiltrates the villain alliance and sabotages it. Maybe even at the cost of her own spot in the game. Redemption Arc. Heroic Sacrifice.

BUT NO. We had that one conversation with Tess where that question was brought onto the table. Then Ellie does nothing about finding that answer.

Then TESS does the decision making FOR ELLIE by eliminating her. So now she has to choose Gabby, she already lost!

So... what was the point of that?

Also she publicly humiliates Jake THREE TIMES, more depending on how many interviews she did, and apparently that doesn't amount to anything for her?

Those two's relationship was such a big deal in Season 1. Not that it need to be here too.

Idk, all I know is GABBY IS GOING TO SHINE NOW! AND I AM HERE FOR IT!!

Gabby is going to be a finalist this season. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Especially if she is getting involved with the Villains Alliance?! YEAH. SHE'S A MAJOR PLAYER NOW.

SHE IS THE KEY TO EVERYTHING.

In that sense, maybe eliminating Ellie WAS the right move and a good twist. Because then it leads to GABBY being the major player who infiltrates the villain alliance instead. Except she's going to be successful at doing so.

That's my prediction right now: Final 8 Mergers are going to be Gabby, Ashley, Allyson, Aiden, and the Yellow Team.

Jake's ABSOLUTELY FUCKED. Tom's gonna be gone too once they get their shit together. Tess is fucked after this move.

And then after that, Gabby is going to betray the villains and get Yul out. Then it's a fair game where anything can happen.

THEY'RE LITERALLY MAKING FUN OF YOU

So since history repeats itself people are being annoying about Minecraft again, but this time it's because they're getting weirdly prissy about the fact that the devs don't want to completely overhaul the game every update and only add a couple little things each time, since, you know, Minecraft clearly isn't meant to be a maximalist game like Terraria or whatever. It's kind of insane how you can't bring up Minecraft without some being like "uhhuhuhu but update smol"

I could literally go on and on about how that dumb that whole opinion is (getting free updates for a decade+ old game is a blessing, no matter what) but the funny thing is, their new April Fools joke update is LITERALLY MAKING FUN OF THOSE PEOPLE AND NONE OF THEM ARE GETTING IT

What did they add? A whole new dimension! A whole new boss! A bunch of new mobs! So many new items!

But guess what?

That dimension? 95% of it is just retextures and lol xd so randum XPPP renames of existing blocks in the shape of a floating island scape, which iirc was an old world generation type? Who cares, Gamers LOVE floating islands in Minecraft, right? Just dump it in

The boss? Basically just a slime scaled in the z direction a bit with a different texture, and all it does is you hit it and it spawns in waves of enemies, of course most of the later waves being REALLY hard cuz Gamers LOVE difficulty in games, right? Just toss a swarm of really hard mobs at them, and they're satisfied, clearly. Its home is even just a Nether Bastion but retextured

All the new mobs are just remakes of old ones with new textures, and most of the new items are just tons of new colored objects like peels and junk to fill in the item count numbers. The only one that is fundamentally new is a grappling hook type thing, which, to be fair, is actually cool. Normally I'd say it completely breaks how you move in the game, but considering the Elytra exists that's clearly not a thing they're too opposed to, and honestly, like honestly honestly, without irony, who doesn't love Spiderman mechanics? The Elytra created a whole new brand of movement-based puzzle map, I bet a non-potato themed grappling hook could bring us that too (it already looks like the new hammer's gonna do the same)

But okay apart from that one item, this is literally the most shallow, pointless version of what "the fans" have been asking for for ages. The type of Aether-lookalike mod makers just dump into the game without much care (No disrespect to Aether ofc, they were the OGs). 

And the problem is, those people they're making fun of ACTUALLY WANT THIS. In the comments of the announcement video, they're all like "If only they put this much effort into a REAL update" AS IF MORE GENERIC, RESKINNED JUNK = MORE EFFORT. They do, truly, just want the devs to forgo all solid creative intention and just swamp the game with more "stuff" to do.

And the most annoying part is, THEY LITERALLY CAN DO THAT THEMSELVES ALREADY. Mods can literally ruin the whole game and turn the game into Call of Duty with Alchemy, 30 different dimensions, trillions of new mechanics and items, and tons of other stuff if you only want it to. I bet you my soul that the devs already know that, and want to give vanilla players something different, because if they're bothering to play vanilla they clearly just don't WANT Minecraft to be that, even if they do want some new things. And even apart from mods, Bedrock (while objectively worse in a bunch of ways) DOES get frequent updates that add lots of stuff, even if that's mostly branded stuff they're doing as a promotional sort of thing. As far as I can tell, they're not just skin packs or a themed map or whatever, it seems like there's actual new mechanics and animations and stuff. 

I just don't get these people. They're so obnoxious about absolutely nothing at all.

A couple days ago, I made a post musing about some of the differences between mine and @avionvadion's fic, saying what would be a good outcome in their's would be a really bad in mine. Not in a bad way, just in a "huh, that's interesting" sort of way. Since I'm bored and tired after a long day of social media marketing at an event and they seemed amused by my last post, here are some more similarities and differences with our writing.

Disclaimers: This is the last time I'll be doing this. I don't want to annoy them with these posts. Like I said before, I'm not dissing their writing with anything I'm saying here. They have their reasons for writing their fic how they are, and I have mine. Both ways are valid. They're a talented writer in their own right. I'm merely comparing for funsies.

Anyways...

1 Azul ends up with TWST Tiana in both. In there's, it's long after Azul graduates when he's in his 30s. In mine, he's currently dating her in the story, and she's one level below the Tweels in power level at the lounge, having a say in some of the decisions there. (As context, NRC and the other schools are universities in mine. Airplanes don't exist in my and @stormkitty97's worldbuilding, so everyone long distance travels via mirrors. Girls from the sister school working on campus is commonplace, despite a lot of them not living on the island. That's also why he's able to be in a relationship with her, Azul's a little older and slightly more mature...emphasis on "slightly". xD ) TWST Tiana, Rhiannon, is also Sam's cousin and will have a pretty big role in Azul's arc. Yes...TWST Lottie and the Tweels make mob wife jokes about her. xD

2 El, their Yuu, is in total denial about who Malleus is, mostly because she doesn't want to accept the fact that she would be marrying a prince with everything that implies. She does accept it during Pomefiore from what I can tell.

Adriana, my Yuu, knows very early on who he is. Like second day she's in that world early. She is immediately believes the rumours without pausing and determining if they are for herself. When she meets him and says his name during Savanaclaw, he's disappointed, since he thought she might not know who he is and have someone he can be himself around, which didn't happen. He gives her the slight cold shoulder throughout the rest of the meeting. During the third arc, Pomefiore, Malleus apologizes for his actions, and she accepts. Adriana suggests hanging out with him, due to pitying him for seeming lonely, which shocks him and he agrees.

Once Adriana befriends Malleus, she also acts a lot differently than El. Adriana makes an effort to talk to Malleus a little more formally than usual, because he's a prince. She also never wants to be seen out in public with him, spending time with him in more private settings like walking around Ramshackle, having tea with him in his room, etc, to avoid any misunderstandings about her being betrothed to him when she isn't. It's so bad that she is afraid to sit next to him at the dorm leader meetings (which she has to go to, despite her not even staying in Ramshackle anymore, because Crowley's a dubious dick). She relaxes a little over time, but not by much.

El is a lot more casual around Malleus, even after accepting his true identity. Even when she convinces herself that Malleus is some fae noble, she talks to him about the same way as she does with everyone else. She isn't afraid to seen in public with him.

The biggest difference here is the nature of their bonds with Horn Boy. Adriana is just friends with him. The idea of speaking to those in positions of power formally and with respect was drilled into her, especially as a brown latina from a rich background. She also avoids swearing around Crowley and the other staff members, which is a lot given how much she swears normally. El seems a lot more like canon Yuu in the sense that she judges others by who they are, not what they are. (At least that's my reading of her. Not sure what the author thinks on that one.) While Adriana's like that too in a general sense, old habits die hard. xD

3 Both Adriana and El are traumatized. The source of it and their reactions to said trauma are different.

El had a past life named Ellis. He and Maleficent fell in love, agreeing to get married. Shit happens and Ellis isn't there to make the engagement. Despite this being a huge misunderstanding, she curses him so that if he "chases a memory of her" a rose will grow in his lunges, killing him. He kept on recarnating. Each time that happened the curse would take hold and they would die tragically young. This is until Neige's mother makes a wish for her brother's soul to survive. His soul noped out of the Twisted Wonderland and went to our world, being born as El. The curse is frozen for 19 years due to there being no magic to make it flourish. Once she comes to Twisted Wonderland, it excellerates before stabilizing. (That's my understanding of it, anyways. I could be off.)

This carries into her present life, albeit subconsciously. Ellis was betrayed over a misunderstanding, and El is carrying the burden of that subconsciously, despite not being aware of it. She is hesitant to trust others and can act rather selfishly at times. She is terrified of being in relationships. Her witnessing her sibling's failed romances doesn't help much. It takes El awhile to accept Malleus' feelings.

Adriana...well...

(Massive Spoilers to my Fics Undercut)

Adriana's not cursed, at least in a obvious and direct sense like El. Instead her trauma is more real world based.

Back in secondary school (high school), Adriana was a former popular mean girl. (Think Reneé Rapp's version of Regina, even down to her being queer like her IRL actress. xD) She had a Neige-like figure in her life named Keiko. She thought that everyone adored her, saying how smart and talented she is, when she thought she was the opposite, ie a naïve dumbass who was coasting through life via her innocent appearance. One day, she was at the lunch table with her friends gossiping about her and offhandedly commented that. Then, the head mean girl (think Rachel McAdams' version of the character) peer pressured her into taking her down. Not wanting to look like a dumbass, she tricked Keiko into believing she would get this boy she liked. When she was at the party, she pulled a Regina George and kissed the boy in front of her. She was heartbroken.

Keiko ends up in the hospital after a failed suicide attempt. Everyone blamed her for pushing her that far, when in reality it was much more complicated than that and there was a lot of issues going on at home as well. Her "friends" abandoned her. Her boyfriend revealed that he was cheating on her the whole time. The only reasons why he dated her in the first place was because she was hot, he wanted to use her status to up his own and "pitying her" for being autistic. (Did I mention that her ex is named Stephan, like Aurora's father who did something similar to Maleficent in that movie? xD)

This happened during her senior year. She became a reclusive outcast for the rest of the year to the point she didn't even attend her grad party. She shut down and got mild depression. She internalized everything they said, believing that she has ZERO redeeming qualities beyond looking hot and viewing herself as a sex object to be tossed out once she fulfills her use. Because anyone smart would've saw through their act. (Which is bullshit, but she doesn't see it like that and needs to learn that.) She learnt to put on a mask to make others like her more. Then, we get to the events of the fic.

So, yeah. She's kind of a sad character when you boil down to it. This leads into some her flaws in the present like her second judging everything, massive trust issues, being guarded and taking other's word at face value instead of making her own conclusions.

However, not to get into even more massive spoilers, let's just say that her "I have no good qualities besides looking hot" mindset will be challenged in the very arc I'm writing in a BIG way. I'm a big believer in the George RR Martin writing advice, "If you want to challenge a character, you take something away." Although, the only one that believes it is gone is her, when literally no one else does once the thing is ripped away from her. This needs to happen in order to challenge her as a character and make her learn to see her other good qualities again.

It's also part of the reason why she will become so close to Vil, forming a sibling-like bond with him. She understands exactly where he's coming from and is very similar to him in a lot of ways. Hell, Jack even remarks that he would've thought they were siblings if it wasn't for their opposite appearances. (Vil being white, while Adriana is a brown latina).

Adriana is also hesitant at first about being with Jamil, too. That's due to her direct experience with a shitty ex than anything else. Plus, she also is conflicted about whether or not she wants to go back to her world..let's just say that something will take care of that against her will eventually.

So, yeah. Some similarities, but a lot of differences as well. Goes to show you that while some characters might share some things in common, they might react completely differently due to a variety of reasons.

anyway. hi, yes, I love link click!! I'm gonna apologize in advance because I can already tell as I'm writing this that this is gonna be a long post. you've given me an excuse to write essays on this topic.

I will mostly talk about S1/S2 but there will be yingdu spoilers below.

why do I love link click? I think I just really love their motto: "past or future, let it be." be forgiving of the past, act with intention in the present, because both of those make up the future. when cheng xiaoshi dives into the past to resolve a client's regrets, he is not changing the past. he is changing their future. I really like that. although this mostly counts for S1 and S2; clearly this direction may potentially change with yingdu, which is fine with me. but this is the theme that first drew me in, and I hold "past and future, let it be" dear to my heart.

it's also just the kind of story that fires the neurons in my brain. I love stories where a late revelation re-contextualizes earlier scenes. I enjoy puzzling out the plot, regardless if we're overthinking continuity errors or not. yeah sometimes the fakeout cliffhangers in S2 are annoying. and yeah sometimes I can tell when the show is trying to make me cry, but I'm gonna let it, because the experience of watching it is enjoyable to me.

I also just love the time travel aspects of it? like, sure, some people will say link click is a story about love told through time travel. but to me, the time travel itself is a major element of the story. it's the meat of it. it runs through its themes, its conflicts, its character arcs, and even the way the show itself engages with the audience.

like, to compare with other media (and note, I absolutely love every media I'm gonna list here) (this part might be contentious, I'm sure others will disagree with me on this). erased has time travel elements, but I would say that that is a character-driven story where time travel is a story device, but not the main subject. pmmm has time loops, but to me, that show is about magical girls. the time loops are a result of homura's wish when she became a magical girl. it's a vehicle for her love for madoka, but the story itself examines the magical girl aspect of the show more than the time travel aspect. life is strange is a video game where the main character pretty much has the same abilities as cheng xiaoshi, and it's probably the closest to the type of story link click is. loved that game to bits, but making branching narratives in video games is understandably hard. it kinda sucks that, in the end, the butterfly effect only really converged to two different endings, so I feel like the concept of it didn't reach its full potential.

and again, I love each media I've listed here btw. I am not saying they're lesser or worse than link click. they're just different, and the way they treat the time travel aspects of their story is just different. like, pmmm itself is a masterpiece on its own. but anyway, I digress.

I like that link click has a character establish time travel rules, and then breaks them. I like that the show commits to closed time loops, and then doesn't. I like that it closely examines the mechanics of time travel in its world. I like that the studio is pushing how much they can do with the concept of "time travel" that it extends to how they communicate with the audience. like how, recently, we just learned that the PVs for yingdu arc actually took place in a different timeline from the yingdu we're watching now in the show. that's bananas to me. personally, I love them for doing that.

my brain loves these kinds of stories. my favorite danganronpa game is V3, and if you're familiar with this series, this should tell you how much I personally enjoy stories that try to trick me with its concepts, and stories that go meta on itself. I like svsss for the same reason. I love unreliable narrators. link click is just right up my alley.

I can go on and on about what I love about how link click uses time travel in the story. how the stories are about intimate, personal connections and personal regrets. the weight of a small action in the grand scheme of things and how it ties to the emotional core of our characters. but then this post will never end, and I would probably just rehash what this video is talking about. so go watch that instead.

also, the soundtrack is immaculate.

as for my top five favorite moments... it's funny, because I vastly prefer S1 over S2. that's just my personal preference. and yet, when I reviewed the episodes, it turns out all my favorite moments are in S2? go figure. I think it's because S2 establishes a lot of character moments that have been building up since S1, which I deeply appreciate.

here's the tl;dr of my favorite moments thus far (in chronological order). you asked why, and I will explain why under the cut.

S1E10: "the game is over."

S2E5: "after you get the doll, remember to show an appropriate... look of happiness."

S2E8: "you know what? I have a younger brother."

S2E12: "if you don't have the guts for that, how can you be my friend?"

S2E12: "time is a hypocritical construct"

I did not include yingdu moments in this yet because with a show like link click, some scenes become more interesting in retrospect than while watching in the moment. so I'll let yingdu finish what it's doing first and let it marinate in my brain for a bit.

gonna put the reasons under a read more cut because oh boy it's gonna be long. it turned into several character analyses along the way. I am so so sorry about this. I can't turn my brain off and I can't shut up about this show.

top five favorite moments: (in chronological order)

S1E10 - "the game is over." this is quite literally the coolest scene in all of link click. no scene has surpassed this scene imo. it accomplishes several things exceptionally well, all condensed in one single moment.

one, it shows that despite lu guang's own fears, he decided to trust cheng xiaoshi with leading the operation. perhaps you could say he didn't really have a choice, since he couldn't forcefully exit cheng xiaoshi out of xu shanshan's body, and so he couldn't do anything but help cheng xiaoshi trap liu min in the darkroom. but either way, this is still a monumental moment for him. it doesn't seem that way at first in S1, but with the context of S2E12 and YE1, it's surprising he'd let cheng xiaoshi do this at all. that he'd let cheng xiaoshi lead, or that he'd even trap him alone with a serial killer in the darkroom. you know, where he previously died? that's a massive amount of trust to give. he could have just as easily trap himself with cheng xiaoshi and liu min in that room. but he couldn't, because he had to contact the police while cheng xiaoshi distracted liu min and got a confession out of him. and if he wants the plan to work, lu guang had to (whether he's forced to or not) trust that cheng xiaoshi can handle himself in that room. that cheng xiaoshi won't die.

maybe cheng xiaoshi isn't the only one who has grown in this timeline? it's a very... optimistic interpretation of this scene, I admit. but lu guang's actions in this scene is fascinating to me in retrospect.

two, it shows that cheng xiaoshi can be a tricky and clever planner — in fact, this is a defining character trait for him. lu guang is the meticulously analytical one, the one who plans out every detail to the last minute. cheng xiaoshi is the one who thinks outside the box and sees the loopholes. and mind you, this was planned. cheng xiaoshi was working on this plan even before he told lu guang what he wanted to do. there's a scene earlier before the dive where we see cheng xiaoshi setting up pictures in the darkroom. he only told lu guang about the plan once he was possessing xu shanshan.

director li describes cheng xiaoshi similarly: (I love how he's defensive over cheng xiaoshi's intelligence)

"the thing is, cheng xiaoshi seems flippant, but you saw him at the end of the first season. he can be pretty clever when it's crunch time. I had a lot of classmates who performed badly in class, but they got their scores up from 60 to 90 in just two months, right before the national college entrance examinations. these kinds of people do exist. that sort of cleverness is incredible. it's something you're born with."

three, this scene perfectly makes use of the time travel rules this show has established thus far. the closed timeloop (the call liu min made in the morning can only happen because cheng xiaoshi provoked him into playing a game, which only happened because cheng xiaoshi already got the call). the clever use of photos to "teleport" but also to resolve regrets, because cheng xiaoshi used photos of the victims.

I love how danny motta describes it in his reaction:

"[lu guang] literally trapped this guy inside of [cheng xiaoshi's] boss arena. I never considered how much fucking power and authority [cheng xiaoshi] has in this room specifically."

and finally, how awesome is it to hear the beeping of overthink at the end of the episode, and instead of being filled with dread because of a cliffhanger that could potentially put our favorite characters in danger, you're instead hyped because you just know cheng xiaoshi is gonna fuck up the main bad guy of the season. it's such a great reversal of how they have been using overthink for the past episodes.

it's like the show saying, "remember how worried you felt at the end of each episode before this? that's how liu min should feel right now, because cheng xiaoshi is absolutely gonna fuck him up next episode."

it's just so many great elements of the story condensed into one, single badass moment. this is link click at its peak for me.

S2E5 - "after you get the doll, remember to show an appropriate... look of happiness"

when I watched this scene, I thought, "oh. so li tianxi is the mirror to cheng xiaoshi." and of course S2 continues with this mirroring with the running scenes, the film strips, and so on.

but I love the look of surprise from lu guang in this scene. cheng xiaoshi, as li tianxi, was already looking happy before lu guang even finished his sentence. because cheng xiaoshi was happy. and why wouldn't he be? he gets to spend a morning with a loving mother.

in this moment, cheng xiaoshi and li tianxi were in sync.

it highlights cheng xiaoshi's empathy and how sometimes that empathy can be something so personal to him. it highlights his sincerity and naivete, and even li tianxi's too. it's a great character moment for both of them.

S2E8 - "you know what? I have a younger brother."

this is great character moment for qiao ling. I love her relationship with cheng xiaoshi, but the way she communicated with li tianxi also deserves praise. I've already talked about qiao ling extensively here, and I feel like I'll just rehash everything I said before, so I won't repeat them here. I'll just highlight the parts that are relevant to this scene:

she's the one who truly connected with tianxi and knew how to communicate with her — even better than cheng xiaoshi could, and cheng xiaoshi was the one who actually got to live as tianxi. [qiao ling] is the person that gained tianxi's trust and knew how to meet her where she's at.

I love any moment that qiao ling gets to shine, but especially the ones where she is defined and forms connections outside of shiguang. and actually, that's her job in the supernatural business of the photo studio! she's the one who seeks out and communicates with clients! so of course she's the one who'd be able to communicate with li tianxi.

S2E12 - "if you don't have the guts for that, how can you be my friend?"

liu xiao doesn't do much in S2, but I've come to really like his character. this is also an important character moment for li tianchen.

I will admit, the reason this entered my top five scenes is rooted in half canon, half headcanon. but I think this scene says a lot about xiaochen's relationship. notice how liu xiao reached out to li tianchen with bare hands. li tianchen went from living with a clown villain who always wears gloves (sorry, but qian jin was a joke) to partnering with someone who will let him touch his hand despite knowing li tianchen can possess people through touch.

but! you also have to read this in the context of all of liu xiao's interactions with li tianchen thus far, and all the warnings studio lan has given us about not trusting the guy. he's a mastermind. he's a manipulator.

so, here's the headcanon territory. liu xiao is probably manipulating him, and I think li tianchen is a little bit aware of it too tbh. but even if he knows, he lets him, because what else does he have? he always looked up to liu xiao anyway. li tianchen is probably doomed, even more than cheng xiaoshi. but then again, have you seen the lyrics to prometheus? does li tianchen even care at this point? he lost his sister. he left his phone behind; he's leaving the past behind. liu xiao is the only one he can trust.

li tianchen is the actual most doomed character in link click, for me. like, I can imagine a happy ending for shiguang, but it's really hard at this point not to think of li tianchen getting the Bad Ending™

liu xiao, the mastermind, being the one to first reach out, unafraid that li tianchen can possess him at any time, is such a great introduction to their partnership. he is li tianchen's light the way lu guang is cheng xiaoshi's.

I'm really hoping for xiaochen to be the foil to shiguang in S3. like, li tianchen knows he's being strung along. turn that into a foil for S3!cxs who discovers that lu guang has been hiding something from him all this time, that perhaps he even made up the time travel rules to control the timeline and avoid cheng xiaoshi's death. there's a lot of potential for liu xiao and lu guang foiling too, especially with themes of "control" over the timelines.

again, this is mostly speculation, but idk. I think xiaochen just has a lot of potential.

S2E12 - "time is a hypocritical construct"

link click knows how to do a finale. even when you know from episode 1 (from the brief showing of dead cheng xiaoshi in lu guang's mind, or the XƎTЯOVerthink mv) that this was gonna be the reveal, it doesn't dampen the execution of the scene.

like I said earlier, I love when a late revelation re-contextualizes the whole story, and this is THE prime example for that. this scene instantly gives lu guang's character sooooo much depth, and all his interactions with cheng xiaoshi in S1 and S2 has extra layers in them when you rewatch the episodes. when he calls cheng xiaoshi an idiot for joking about hanging himself in S1. when he gets mad that cheng xiaoshi dived into security footage to tail liu min without lu guang to guide him. when he loses his shit when qian jin shot cheng xiaoshi. even the chibi short where qiao ling does tarot and lu guang hides his card from cheng xiaoshi becomes more and more interesting (qiao ling notices him hiding it too).

love a guy that dooms himself.

the weight of his tragedy also makes me appreciate the small moments of peace he gets as well, especially in the chibi shorts. I am incredibly fond of the elizabeth episode for this reason. lu guang is timelooping; how can he think of treating each timeline as "home" when he could potentially fail again and again? at first he didn't want to keep elizabeth, but he clearly does, and he was sad when she had to leave. I like to think that in a happy ending, shiguang gets to keep a pet cat. it's a commitment to this particular timeline. it's to say, "this is home."

what really elevates the scene is the use of mastermind as the insert song. lu guang reveals that he's been breaking his own time travel rules since the beginning, and then we hear "time is a hypocritcal construct" in the background? 11/10, no notes.

but beyond that, there's something else I love about mastermind being the finale song. I'll just copy my tags from this post. I love that the lyrics of mastermind uses the same metaphors we associate with liu xiao:

“destiny is just my game but it's all you're counting on right now”

“the hunter when a prey lies / it's just what the world's like”

“mastermind stays in the dark”

“can't you see it's checkmate?”

I just think it's so cool that liu xiao doesn't really... do anything (that we see) in S2. but he still gets the last word through this song. like that's such a mastemind thing to do. idk, idk, that's just so cool to me.

UPDATE: Remember how I said it was probably fine that, because of the expanded party mod, Minsc doesn't get a debtor disguise in the House of Hope?

Turns out it's more of a problem than I thought. XD

Narrator: Without Hope's disguise, the damned soul realizes you are an imposter in the hells, and is about to raise the alarm.

XD Whoops.

Honestly, this is pretty funny to me because the most obvious in-story explanation is that Rakha (and Minsc) just utterly fail at being subtle or stealthy at all despite Hope's best efforts, and everyone just instantly clocks them anyway.

Chaos!

So the TLDR here is that all the "debtors" get big mad at us; they do the same thing they do in the usual hectic escape sequence, which is turn into things like imps once killed, which then have to be killed again.

They're not particularly challenging to fight, but this immediately shafts any hope Rakha had of getting in and out quietly without drawing any attention.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: While I was writing the above it turned out that we're just doing the whole big hallway fight now, because my least favorite hunk of rock has showed up:

These things are scary; they do extra special fire damage and were VERY unpleasant for Hector's crew, who primarily did melee single target damage. Rakha's crew, thankfully, is more comfortable at range, so this is less terrifying.

Guess who else is on the board?

This is a bit of a bummer because I was sort of curious how Rakha would react to Haarlep's whole deal, but also not TOO much of a bummer because how she would react would probably mostly just be Very Uncomfortably.

On the bright side, it will be easy to look around after all of these people are cleared out.

After Action Report:

Very annoying fight, mostly because the hell sphere is resistant to basically everything and has acres of health. But we got there!

MVP status goes to Wyll, who dropped Hunger of Hadar across the hallway all the bad guys had to funnel through, which helped keep the flood manageable. Second place goes to Jaheira's conjured elemental, which kept most of the debtors busy while we dealt with the sphere and Haarlep (and finished quite a few of them off itself).

I'm low-key kind of annoyed that most of these hell-creatures are nevertheless somehow resistant to cold damage, which would have made Jaheira's ice storm very powerful; however, at least some of them are vulnerable to lightning damage so Call Lightning did a lot of work.

Haarlep is resistant to lighting, cold, and fire (and poison), but not to slashing or bludgeoning, so when the time came for him, Lae'zel and Minsc just whooped him the old fashioned way. He does still do that thing where he disappears when he gets hit, allowing only one of the party to do any damage to him per round, which is not really dangerous so much as really annoying and drags the fight out.

He tried, in order, to "Incubus Charm" every single member of the party, and failed every single time. L + no rizz.

Haarlep drops a shiny key and some shiny bracers, which I put on Minsc for now.

Time to do a proper exploration now that there's nothing to bother us!

Shadow meeting anti Shadow, I feel like there's mostly a lot of confusion shdfbsbfjksb Why is he so....angry? All the time...? Its like his face never changes, what is he thinking about? What is he thinking about HIM?! I think Shadow looks at anti Shadow and internally is a little like god I wish that were me. The bit about him being perfectly okay with being on the side of the Black Arms is...strange, though here it looks like they're NOT hellbent on destroying humanity and using them as an energy source. So that's sort of a plus.

Eclipse doesn't have too much of a problem with his anti self...UNTIL the anti Eclipse mentions something like "most times, rules aren't meant to be broken!" or something. Like oh noooooooo he's a goody two shoes isn't heeeeee. GO AWAY. YOU ANNOY ME >:( WE ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON. Meanwhile anti Eclipse thinks they're besties lmao

Terios is probably scared of his anti self 😭 And anti Terios dislikes his other self immensely. Ridicules him for doing literally anything. I don't think Terios can Steven Universe his way out of this one

The manga is very emotional :D actually at least it was for me when I first read it, i cried and laughed and when I say cried i mean literally placed it down and made a 10 minute pause to cry :D From what I remember, it was mostly bcuz of Shadow and his bestie (no im not naming him) and speaking of them, i sometimes feel like they overshadowed other nice duos and combos that didn't appear much in the manga but would be very silly

And im talking about Blue & Shadow and Blue & him :)

Shadow & Blue are mostly corrupting me bcuz i have their designs for TSoTT so they always accompany me, especially during school hours since I have no one else. 90% of my incorrect quotes are smth they said at school XD When I say accompany me i mean that im talking to myself like a madman pretending that im talking to two 18 year old dudes XDD 💙🖤 i don't have anyone at school to talk to, okay? Barely anyone even knows my name 😒 Whenever I do talk to them i feel like im more and more becoming crazy bcuz hey, talking to myself 24 a day... I blame my whole AU for that.... Anyways like since for now I only have the two of them visualized, they cheer me up and kill boredom during school hours :) Sometimes even end up in a fight with each other which can be a real pain during an exam 🤦‍♀️ Also speaking of exams, they can't really help :/ Shadow knows no shit about math and Blue kinda knows? Though he admits that even Link when he was my age wasn't the best at math (sounds weird to me but kinda makes sense idk) Blue does help at PE though :D He helps with baseball! We won a game the other day :D And generally he helps with PE :) Now when i think about it I have no idea how did Shadow stay with me for like a few months now, but what i do know is that he's really good at killing boredom :) Once I had like around 50 minutes free and ofc i was doodling but Shadow was also making me laugh with nonsense he was telling me (some random shit about ppl he saw at my school or impressions of other Links) Shadow and Blue do get along :)....kinda, ngl. They're not really a perfect duo to cope with each other. Did I mention that they ended up in a fight? Oh yeah not once. But like they don't really hate each other, i mean they'd die for the other, but like they're just not the best to be accompanied. When they want, they're great! When I think about their dynamic in the AU, tbh I see them as a duo that would annoy each other all the time but would be amazing at working together in a fight. Speaking of the AU they don't interact much bcuz of the messed up plot, but if they do, which ill probably place them to, they wouldn't get along at first but later would start to understand each other and would be unstoppable. Shadow's bestie is actually the one who gets them along :) which is a long story....

All in all, Blue & Shadow are recently becoming one of my comfort duos 💙🖤
