Why the hell am I taking on so much extra work and responsibility for free for a camp that can’t even be bothered to get me a staff shirt that fits?
#i’ve been mad about this for weeks#my staff shirt is two sizes too big#its the smallest one they ordered#it comes down past my shorts so I have to wear pants on the days we wear them#its too fucking hot to be doing that#the sleeves come down to my elbows#i look ridiculous#and i was promised in the beginning of the summer that they’d order me the right one#and turns out they’re not going to do that#so why the hell am I trying this hard for a camp that can’t even be bothered to do the bare minimum for me?#i feel the need to mention that I gave them my shirt size over a month before the order was placed#she speaketh#vent

Why are commercial patterns Like That
#I’m trying to make a corset (not a very good one but I need one that is actually my size and can function just for Halloween wear I’ll make#something better later)#BUT LIKE#I’m literally sewing the smallest size pattern and didn’t add seam allowance and it’s still too big#mind you the smallest size lists the waist measurement at 23 inches. I have a waist size of 26 inches. and the smallest size is too big#I’m pinning stuff together for a pinned try on rn and I have the lacing done the tightest and it’s too big!#a corset is supposed to be snug it’s not supposed to have ease like that#the size six of the pattern matches that of a size twelve corset I had lying around#commercial patterns stop lying to me challenge!!!!

Finally bought a gender fluid flag and a red silk shirt (manly type). I have always wanted a wine red silk shirt. Oh and I also bought my very first REAL boxer shorts (seriously why are all the boxers in the store that are meant for women still showing parts of your ass!?!? I want a boxer that covers everything god damn it!?!?)
Also bought a new bi-flag because the one I have is old and the colors are fading :(

#sometimes (always) it sucks to have a fucked up brain because at one moment everything is fine and then you see a post and start crying and#remember everything you don't want to remember and you need something to squeez while sobbing and then something for the comfort but you do#have that kind of comfort thing with yourself now#i have this doll my friend made for me as a birthday gift and i discovered how nice it was to hug it and hold it gently but it wasn't#made to be hugged because it might fall apart and since then i haven't hugged it even though my friend said i could#(just make sure i'm gentle)#but since then i just can't because my brain keeps telling me it ‘wasn't made for that that wasn't made for that that wasn't made for that’#so i can't no matter my friend said i can even thought it wasn't made for that#the ‘it wasn't made for that’ for some reason is so much stronger and i feel so bad for even thinking about hugging/holding it#so now i keep it on the bed next to the pillow in my dorm room#i really need something i can hug and it's not too soft so not a pillow or something like that#i found a weighted pillow when i searched for a weighted blanket i also really want but holy shit that pillow was $179 (the smallest size)#so that's obviously a big no even thought i really like the idea of it#i don't want to spend money on stuff like these that's why i still haven't bought a weighted blanket even thought it's an old dream of mine#i just want to be normal but there are too many problems to work with#my useless posts

people don't complain enough about the "one size fits all" thing clothing/shoe companies do in the sense that I am 26 & I can't buy stuff in the adult section because it's all too fucking big. "stop wearing oversized clothes all the time!" I CAN'T!!!!
