make sure to choose the “deliver” option!!! girl scouts as a whole has been trans inclusive for a while, of trans girls and trans boys and nonbinary people, and this is a really great option to support these kids and their troops

Every day I think about that time I loaned my CIT songbook to my co-counselor and told them to be really careful with it because it was important to me and irreplaceable and they took a highlighter to it and never apologized

Guides had never been trained for war or fighting, but like the skills they had acquired for their proficiency badges, the training they had received in their ordinary meetings and camps soon proved invaluable. During the past year, much had been done to prepare for war conditions. Now Guides came into their own, as men had to leave home to join the armed forces, and mothers who had stayed at home to look after their families had to work in factories to help the war effort. Overnight, the skills that Brownies and Guides had been learning became imperative for the survival of Britain. The school leaving age was fourteen, so membership of the Guides was important for many young women who would otherwise never have learned dressmaking, carpentry and cooking.

In a separate post, so y'all can discuss on not my super long liveblog chain:
The vote passed, with about 3/4 of delegates voting in favor of increasing membership dues.
Girl fees will be 45 next year and 65 in member year 2027 (Oct 2026 - Sept 2027).
I will need a moment (or a few days) to collect my thoughts.

Does anyone know a kid participating in the fall product sales? I can’t order directly from my campers because that would be considered favoritism and I don’t know anyone else selling
