Tone tag masterlist!!!!! :]]]
I know we just posted, but the idea popped up and I had to post this before I forget
Here's a masterlist of tone tags and their meanings, along with examples :] Note that it's only the ones I know so far and please feel free to tell us if I missed anything!
Click the "Keep reading" for the masterlist <3

/hj - Half-Joking - Used to indicate when the tone of text/speech is one that is half or partially joking, or to indicate that something is partially a joke or someone is partially joking {Ex: "My dog will bite you /hj" "Well then i guess i'm santa claus /hj"}
/hsrs - Half-Serious - Means the same thing as /hj, but usually has more serious undertones, or more on the serious side {Ex: "Aw darn it the cat broke another fine china /hsrs" "they have no idea what that is /hsrs"
/srs - Serious - Used to indicate when the tone of text/speech is serious, or that one is not joking, and that what is being discussed is not a joke {Ex: "My sister just ran outside to catch a worm /srs" "I lost my limited edition jesus christ plushie /srs"}

/p - Platonic - Used to indicate when something that can be interpreted as romantic is platonic and not with romantic tone or gesture, or to indicate that something is platonic {Ex: "god i love you so much /p" "Yeah rai're my damn wife /p"
Thats all of them for now :] I know I definitely missed some, and I suggest doing your own research into tone tags and tone tag carrds and these can also be very helpful {Also, tone tags are also sometimes called "Tone indicators" if that helps at all}
Edit: An anon sent a large list of tone tags to add to the masterlist so I'm putting them here! {Ty, anon!} {I'm also copypasting them and not adding descriptions because I'm lazy but I'll probably get to it later(Hopefully-)}

every so often ill look on the msm yt community post with my deedge art and ill just. look through the comments and giggle. some of my findings are, but are not limited to:
-a few people saying "this kinda looks like cropped r34 iunno mannne" (it isnt)
-a LOT of people asking "why he got a big chest though" or "yoo mommy milkers.." (that was supposed to be the chin that deedge has in game. i just drew it a lot bigger/fluffier to make it fit more into my style but hey. to each their own)
-one of the top comments being "this really puts the COLD in the cold island boss" (extremely true)
-actually theres just a whole bunch of people asking why deedge had a big chest jts probably like half the comments at this point (ITS THE CHINNN ITS THE CHINNN RAHHHH)
-a comment that says "this is the worst fanart i have ever seen" with a reply saying "not that you could do any better" (theyre probably right)
-comments that dont even relate to the topic at all (why are you here)
i'm not sure whether i should feel proud or mortified 💀💀
also some related to twitter:
-the usual comments with shard->gem conversion, facebook issues, and that guy that requests things that are not getting in game
-a lot of people asking "why does it say sensetive content?"; for those of you keyed in to my twitter activity (probably like 3 of you now that i think about it) all my media posts past the congle drawing got flagged as sensetive because... uh i have no clue actually. i was fucking around in the settings a little bit and i mightve messed up big time so. lol. im taking a break from twitter for a bit anyway, just for mental reasons (twitter is toxic asf), and all the sudden attention on my account, but also to see how long this issue takes to get fixed. so yeah.
reddit has not that many, its all just people congratulating me. all 3 platforms it was put on adjacent to the monsterpiece shoutout (i put it on the msm subreddit BECAUSE of that shoutout) have that comment in common. i just kinda wanted to put spotlights on the yt comments first and foremost because i thought they were funny. so lmaoooo
and the thing is, im not even mad. people are just like that. the funny thing is, the last time i drew deedge (see the old art dump post) the fluff part actually looked like a chin. but you know, we change, we grow (maybe.)
but im glad i got featured anyways, because that means more people can see my art, wnether it be new followers (which is a total of 4 since i last checked in to my twitter) or just a blow up of that one post. it makes me happy to see that the game i love and appreciate... loves and appreciates me back! it truly warms my heart.
anyways thats it i guess. have a nice day. make sure to not objectify your local deedge /hj

@lirulin responding here.
as a preface, i'm approaching this less from an angle of 'here's what i miss from reddit' but more abstractly, I'm interested in how choices about the way a website works affect user behavior and the types of interactions that happen there. if you were designing ur own social media what choices would you make, etc. I've had a tumblr account for like 10 yrs and this website is my home. but i think its fun to compare
You are right about misinfo but there is a fundamental misunderstanding happening here. Tumblr is not and should not be a place you go for facts. Its a place you go for opinions and you should assume any "facts" are false until you independently verify them. Its old internet rules. We exist more as a circulating archive than an encyclopedia.
There are, in fact, a great many posts with misinformation that are funny and popular because of that fact that would have been nuked from orbit on other moderated formats. Is there a risk of gullible/naieve/uninformed people falling for things? Yes. But the tradeoff is we get really unexpected masterpieces that cant exist elsewhere.
yeah this is what i was kinda getting at with "ofc u can't simply add them in a vacuum." there are tradeoffs if u try and Combat Misinformation or try to be the world's breaking news site. it's probably good that tumblr doesn't try to be that
that said, i think "assume all facts are false" is simply not a thing people do here. there are currently-circulating posts that are completely wrong in every aspect with 10k+ reblogs. i have corrected them, and yet the vast majority of those blogs believed it and passed that incorrect information onto their followers.
obviously this isn't important but i AM booty-blasted about it on a personal level and i have better tools to correct people on other sites.
again, trade-offs.
Also our tags are not rankings, theyre a way to find things on your own blog again. Ranking posts by how many people have seen them is not a guarantee of quality and would severely compromise how we structure and curate our own blogs.
yeah the second point about tags was mostly thinking about global tags i.e. the ones on an original post that decide where it's visible in sitewide tag search and followed tags. I guess a better way to phrase it would have been: i think tags are great for blog organization and terrible for sitewide organization.
in-blog tags are a whole other mess but it's worth noting they're not even as good as something like blogger or wordpress where you can see a list of all tags along with the number of posts in that tag (and that's even assuming per-blog tags work properly which for about 3 yrs they were entirely broken and i think they're still partially broken. alas)
ofc u can't/shouldn't talk in tags on traditional blogs or whatever so again. trade-offs.
tumblr posts instance with every reblog meaning that they are not easily deleted. They need a sort function more than they need a ranking because how and what we sort is otherwise not indexed or mandated by the tumblr format. Its not a bug, that process, its a web 1.0 feature.
ig my thought is that tags are (theoretically) great for blog organization, they also got adopted as a way to organize/sort tumblr-as-a-whole, and they suck at that. (which is fine--tumblr is always gonna be best if you follow people, not try and browse tags)
but like. compare a small subreddit to a niche interest here, and i think its much easier to nerd out about something on the forum/reddit/discord/usenet model.
oddly Facebook's groups are a really good implementation of interest-based sorting on a primarily person-based platform.
(though again spare us the insufferable leftbook mod drama. trade offs.)
Instead of thinking of tags as subreddits, think of each blog as its own curated subreddit with its own sorting and tagging system. Thats closer to how this site is actually structured.
I think the subreddit analogy is particularly bad actually. u don't follow a topic here, u follow people. and that's great i truly love my mutuals and i enjoy getting a fuller picture of them and their life. if u only talk to someone about ur unicycling hobby on reddit u don't get to say "oh my god congrats on graduating".
but the cost of this is that there's no way to actually find discussion on particularly niche communities.
two things reddit does well that tumblr sucks at:
misinfo. if a post is wrong it either gets downvoted, or the top comment usually ends up being a correction of the misinfo. it's not perfect, but compare to tumblr where the correction will only ever reach a small portion of people who see the post
tags being specific. on tumblr many posts will be tagged incorrectly and fill up the tags. For instance "#196 campfire" is filled with memes because it's a good way to get eyes on your post, and if a post gets notes it becomes highly ranked in all of its tags (the first 10 or 5 or whatever, anyways). vs on reddit if you crosspost a meme to a place it isn't relevant, ppl can remove/downvote it
Ofc u can't simply add them in a vacuum. u add some way to make corrections better, people are going to use it to be dicks. if u add a way to vote to remove tags (without reporting the whole post) people are going to fight over what tags mean what.
but they are like. features that have been longstanding issues(?) with tumblr for ages

I find it kind of interesting that none of the big social media seem to have implemented a "x number of your followers are online" feature.
Like to be clear I don't want it or care. But I'm just positive that the more influencer-y type of social media users would want it, and have definitely asked for it. Most social media sites already have a "show if someone's online" feature so the information is seemingly there.
It's possible it could be prohibitively difficult to implement. Like maybe the cost of pinging for online status is one thing when it's for a list of ~20-ish "most recent chats", but another if it's trying to read through (and refresh) the statuses for a list of several-million followers. I don't fully believe that, though. I think engineers could work a bit of magic with look-up tables, decent caching, subscribed event listeners for follower keys, and queued events for changed statuses that only fire off at set intervals. And if they're willing to fuzz the numbers they could just take a random sample of followers and scale the number.
I'm more inclined to believe that it doesn't exist because it would be detrimental to the social media site itself. Maybe user engagement would go down during any "non-optimal" time of day since users would know when they're not maxing out on online followers. It could create a feedback loop of "I won't post at 4pm since that's not when most of my followers are online" -> "I won't go online at 4pm because my feed is dead and no one is posting."
I wonder if it could discourage use all together. For an account with 10,000 followers, maybe 5,000 are dead accounts, 2,500 are bots, 1,500 are people who only check the website once a week or so, and among the remaining 1,000 who are daily users maybe only 50-100 of them are online at a given moment. You're probably gonna get a lot more engagement from someone who thinks they're posting for an audience of 10,000 rather than an audience of 50.
Hell, maybe it would be bad news for attracting advertisers! If a website is trying to boast "we have hundreds of millions of users", a metric like online followers might tip their hand and bring into question how many of those hundreds of millions are dead accounts or bots.
Anyway I just think it's interesting that for social media sites will actually never be interested in implementing a feature that does not please its advertisers first. You are both the customer and the product, but mostly the product. Features aren't added based on what you want. They're added based on what will keep you around.

Wanted to start by saying I love your Dano!Riddler content 💙 For a scenario, could you write Dano!Riddler inviting someone over (platonic or romantic, idmtm) to just drink instant coffee all night and play ARGs with him. A bit of a dumb headcanon, but I imagine Edward as being obsessed with internet urban legends (this man definitely had a Creepypasta account 😭) and trying to find online rabbitholes.
Tumblr media
a/n: tysm! also this ask has inspired me to make this ghdfaufafjk (edward trying to explain his batshit insane theories to reader)
i wrote hcs and then a little blurb under the cut! general/platonic hc
i imagine him enjoying those monthly boxes you can get like hunt a killer
calling you up to say its been delivered
or for online things calling you to say he discovered a new lead
wakes up in the middle of the night having dreamt of the arg
immediately waking you up to pour over his thoughts
"ed its 3 in the morning"
"yes BUT if you go into the html of the website--"
likes to write his thoughts and theories down on paper
has ledger book journals for each arg
comes up with a large number of theories, not all of them are correct though
given clues he can pretty easily figure out the solutions, but args have a distinctly human storytelling element that makes it a little more unpredictable
ABSOLUTELY ran creepypasta blogs in the past
wrote some of his own but looking back on them theyre pretty awful
if you find them online, he BEGS you not to read them
physically tugging you away from the computer because its so cringe
Tumblr media
blurb:
as you step into ed's apartment, you're greeted with paper lining the floor, plastered on the walls, and trailing to where you see your friend's form hunched over his dinky laptop.
"oh, you're here!" he leaps to his feet, pages of notes falling from his lap. "great, great, now look," he picks up a handful of crumpled papers, thrusting them into your hand. scrawled in his signature chicken scratch are bulletpoint lists of various urls. half are crossed out and the rest are just barely legible through his flurry of pen strokes. "everyone on the subreddit seems so sure that the aurelia referenced in the goldsaint.mp4 youtube video is aurelia of strasbourg. you know, the 4th century one?"
he doesn't wait for an answer, instead frantically tracing the covered walls with his hand. "but that doesn't make much sense, does it? there's too many references to 'being solitary' to be strasbourg. it HAS to be aurelia of regensburg. the 11th century saint."
he's almost breathless as he dances about the room, picking up his laptop and handing it to you. "and see? if you enter those clues as a website url--" he continues to ramble, leading you through his cluttered thought processes. his mind moves a mile a minute, jumping from idea to idea like a rabbit on the move.
he heaves, catching his breath and you take his silence as an opportunity to offer to make a pot of coffee. "maybe a coffee break is needed?"
"oh, but i don't want to break! i'm on the cusp of figuring out what happened to adam, i feel it."
"ed, you've been at this since, what you got home from work? a little coffee on your work won't hurt any-"
"THATS IT!" he jumps up and shouts. with a startled yelp from you, he takes your shoulders in his hands and shakes you. "THE COFFEE STAIN ON THE JOURNAL ENTRY"
"thank you thank you thank you thank you!"
"jesus ed, will you take the coffee break now?"
"but-"
"you can catch me up on the last video while it's brewing?"
"ah, alright."

Oh yes I’m Gullah and we’re indigenous to Africa and reside in lowcounty. We’re also slowly losing our language and land here in the United States due to climate change and also other things. Seminole people also are descents of Gullah freedmen and native Americans. And there has been some mixing of native and Gullah people in the lowcounty. And from the 5 civilized tribes I would likely (still unsure) be mvskoke which is creek/Musc(k)ogee. Thank you for this conversation by the way I’d still have to do much more research of course. I’m also curious on how you would know if your ancestors were registered under one of the 5 tribes, I’ll look into that also I suppose. I don’t know if I’ll come off anon I’m actually really shy lol. No problem with the responds btw.
Oh i didnt know that Im so sorry about your language thats always such a devestating thing to know and deal with. Hopefully in the coming heres there will be more towards language revitalizing and conservation to make sure languages are kept alive
Best place to start is to contact the tribes (they have their own webbed sites) and pretty much tell them your situation and what to do next. Remember that you are not a burden or a hindrance, you are not bothering them. You are trying to find information.
Most likely they will ask you some questions or direct you to links to archives and what not.
But also i recommend taking a dna test on at least the top 2 or 3 dna test sites mostly to get matched up with cousins so that you can contact them and see if they have any info
Because maybe they have leads, maybe a name. So if you havnt done that thats also a good place to start
And dont worry about it, you can stay on anon if you feel more comfortable that way!
Also i recommend going into the Indian Country subreddit and Native American subreddit and post an ask there to get some suggestions on what to do, maybe even someone whos willing to help (you can make a throwaway account to feel more anonymous which may help shyness).
Ive posted there before and have had a lot of help and direction. And no need to mention your BQ, its no ones buisness.
But yeah 1. Contact the tribes and tell them your situation, ask them where to go from there 2. go into reddit and see if theres someone willing to help or give suggestions and 3. do a dna test on like ancestory and 23&me so you can maybe find some relatives that can give you more info

AOT Characters’ Modern Jobs Headcanon; The Vets Edition!
The jobs that The Vets would have in modern!au, their workplace antics and their back story. There might be some inaccuracies when describing the job as obviously I don’t work at these industries to know its intricacies. Most of the jobs are office jobs. Enjoyyyy!
My Masterlist .::. Pt. II: Zeke Yeager’s Modern Jobs Headcanon
Most recent work: Dream Me Home (Before Shiganshina) | reader x erwin smith
A/N: I really need to finish a presentation deck due tonight for an early morning meeting tomorrow but of course, this comes first hahaha
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
erwin!
A/N: Basically lawyer!erwin is the way to go, innit?
He's in his 40s, so he may have a settled career
He came from a white-collar, middle-class family. So he wasn’t silverspoon-fed, but his parents had enough money to put him through good school
Got a scholarship to go to one of the nation’s finest law schools
Kept it lowkey in college’s social circle, graduated with summa cum laude, developed a strong academic relation with his professor, and got recommended for an internship at top law firm at the capital city
Starting his career as a corporate lawyer, but then built his expertise as white-collar crime attorney
In his early 30s, he represented a union suing against conglomerate corporation in a big case that had national coverage, from then on he began to know his calling
Expanding his portfolio and became well-known for defending workers, consumers and civilians against corporate fraud scheme
Currently doing a lot of pro-bono cases for deprived victims of big corporate fraud. You would see him frequently gracing your local newspaper we love us some socialist king
On the side, he often writes for law journal and fills in as guest professor at local universities for summer courses
Established his own law firm with some of his partners, specializing in white collar crime and labor & employment law
He’s damn accomplished, but never really had any time for self-indulgence. Even after he becomes a household name in the country, with tens of attorneys working under him, his employees would still see him working on New Year’s Eve
He was always attentive to his employees, though. Although he has a very strict, borderline no-life work ethics, he never forces his employees to follow his habit, in fact he despises when his employees works on holidays and can be seen blaming himself for it a bit of a hypocrite but thats ok
He still takes metro to work. He prefers a very lowkey, ordinary lifestyle because he fears if he shows any knack for indulgence, he will be susceptible to gratification from potential enemies or crooked politicians
Definitely a sight to see at the workplace, for he's tall and always oozes a sense of authority in the way he speaks and carries himself generally
His emotional intelligence is top-notch, you would never meet someone who is able to be very objective and calculating, while being kind and compassionate at the same time
His fellow attorneys put a lot for respect for him, and hundreds of applicants come to his considerably small firm every week, because a lot of aspiring attorney find him inspiring to work with
He wasn’t oblivious to his shiny reputation, but he’s trying his hardest to not let the compliments get to his head. Sometimes he doesn’t give himself enough credit for it
Was approached by one of the political party’s committee to run for local senate, but turned it down
basically he’s perfect if you like a man who’s never home for christmas
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hange!
A/N: Ok ok, I really wanna see Paleontologist!Hange because it has always been my fave dream job, but I want Hange to be out and about with people so here it is
Hange is the type to be incredibly good at one thing, that she will dedicate her whole life for that pursuit, but will be awfully oblivious to a whole lot of things (not intentional of course, they just have a very limited attention span) (they wouldn’t know who kanye west is or what tiktok is)
Like Erwin, they came from a middle-class family. While Erwin’s parents might have been teachers, accountants or other common profession, Hange came from a family of academician and researchers
Hange studied Human Geography at uni, but later found passion specifically in its relation to industrialization and urban development
Hange aims to advocate for a better living condition for workforce, and nearby inhabitants of industrialized city detroit would be a beautiful city if only they let hange designed it
Hange is a professor at university, where they also led a non-profit research think-thank that also serves as pressure group for better government policy.
The university that Hange teaches in, is also the uni where Erwin teaches in summer. They’re close-knitted colleagues as they share similar passion. Erwin relies on Hange a lot for some intellectual insights to help his cases
Hange is relentless in their cause, you may find Hange everywhere! From street protest to a hearing in the government court. They are passionate and will do anything for the cause they believe in
Hange was once hired by the government as an independent consultant for a new housing project, but left because they grew to be frustrated by the government’s bureaucracy and their outward reluctance to follow Hange's recommendation
Hange spends a lot of time overseas, consulting and advocating development in newly industrialized countries
On Hange’s birthday, her fellow researchers surprised them with a ‘pampering day’ where they took them to an optometrist because Hange had been complaining about their eyesight for a YEAR that gave them a lot of migraines, but was always either too busy or too lazy to go
Hange never really considers themselves as working, because they enjoy their job very much. Hange likes to spend months observing a community, talking to people for hours, and trying their best in understanding their problem
Out of so many great qualities that Hange has as a researcher that meets different set of people everyday, prejudice or preconceived judgment is completely absent in Hange’s demeanor and perspective
Hange doesn’t get a lot of free-time, even if they do, they’d wander around the city to do a little observation. But when the weather’s bad and they’re stuck at home with their pet lizard, they would logged into Quora to answer random internet questions
They’re an avid writer for National Geographic, and one time Hange won a pitch to make a documentary about an industrial city project they were working on
After the docu-series got broadcasted, Hange gained a small but passionate and loyal fans on the internet. You could even find a subreddit dedicated for Hange’s works
for real I want to be Hange. I want to have that kind of passion in life

levi!
A/N: I spent a lot of times thinking about Levi’s job in modern!au. Because here’s the thing, either we adopt his unfortunate childhood into its modern!au equivalent, or let’s just recreate his whole upbringing. But I think his personality stems from a specific things he experienced during childhood, so let’s not dismiss that.
Levi came from a struggling working class family. I reckon his parents might have had worked multiple jobs to sustain their living expense. Unfortunately they both passed away when Levi was very little, and left little to no inheritance
Levi’s parents were not close to their extended family, so when they died, Levi was admitted to the system and had to brace several foster families who didn’t really pay attention to him
Little Levi had come to realize that life’s all about survival and so he had been able to fend on for himself since very young age, he never asked for things
His uncle, Kenny, finally won custody over Levi when he was in elementary. Kenny made money from small-scale racketeering here and there. Levi never asked what he did for living, as long as he got food to eat and tuition paid off
Kenny was emotionally absent, but he loved spending time with the oddly quiet little child, teaching him a lot of crafts, from carpentering to how to flay pig’s skin
Levi didn’t really care about getting into college, and thought that he’d probably end up working for his uncle, so he put his bare minimum throughout school, although he was really good with numbers, especially in math, accounting and finance
One time in high school, Levi’s teacher asked him to sign up for the olympiad team, Levi turned it down because he thought that was a rich kid thing
He didn’t even apply for college, and worked odd jobs after high school. Probably working as cashiers or assistant to retail shop’s owner for couple of years, enough for him to afford a cheap studio apartment on his own
One of his bosses came to acknowledge Levi’s talent, and trusted him to handle the company’s accounting
By sheer luck, the company hit it big, and Levi found himself running the day-to-day accounting of mid-sized business with over 300 employees
He made good money already without a college degree, but with a new-found confidence Levi applied for uni, where he chose to study accounting (of course)
Although he was confident with his skills, he understood he needed to widen his horizon and network -- thus uni
Levi was one of the oldest members of his cohort in uni, but graduated with highest distinction
After graduating, with his skills and experience, it wasn’t hard for Levi to score a job at top accounting firm
There, he discovered an interest for forensic accounting, where through audits, analysis and investigation, he basically finds out if a company is doing fraud and embezzlement or not
This is where he came to know and get acquainted with Erwin and Hange (yippie they’re together again)
The firm he works for was assigned to investigate the finances of a troublesome company that had been sued by its workers for a jeopardizing working condition. Erwin was on the case, and Levi helped him with evidences for legal proceeding.
By chance, Erwin introduced Levi to Hange. At first, Levi would find Hange annoying and overtly energized, but after learning the things they have done, Levi grew to appreciate Hange’s passion (and secretly wants to have more of his positive outlook)
Levi is fucking good his job. In short amount of time, he could get a really ideal position in the office. He was almost foolproof, finding even the tiniest bit of discrepancy in his audit. He’d get assigned to the big league case/project.
Although really good at his job, he’s not a social person, especially in his office. He couldn’t understand the lavish lifestyle that finance and banking people often lead. He will only show up to office party if it is really necessary for him to show up (usually to receive some kind of informal awards for, again, being so fucking good)
He leads a no-bullshit attitude at the office, largely because of his background. He is a self-made man, and is not easy to impress by some young executives from posh school that talk bigger than they can chew
His cold, seemingly dismissive attitude gained him a reputation of being scary, when actually he is very considerate
One of the things he enjoys doing is to actually teach, he really likes when a new kid at the office come to him with none of that pretentious, big talk, and really asks for his guidance. He would love to teach you a thing or two
He would frequently check on his mentee, just to keep up with their development
And he doesn’t take credit too. When his mentee makes a milestone, he believes it’s 100% your work
If you’re his mentee, he probably doesn’t give a crap about your personal life, so don’t expect him to make small talk about that (and don’t ask him about his personal life either). But he really cares about your skill and career development
Same with Erwin, he leads a very ordinary lifestyle. He doesn’t go out often and would rather reading detective novel with his cat on the couch
He likes to spend Sunday at Uncle Kenny’s house, because he finds himself worried about the old man very often. They became close as Levi grew
Overall, Levi is a really kind and caring person if you know how not to push his button

If i may, for a broke person like myself, is there any way to support your content other than likes/reblogs to help it reach other people? I'm sure i can find an answer with a few minutes of scrolling, but this will let other people know and save me the effort that I should be directing towards finals tomorrow anyway.
1: I guess mentioning and showing content to your friends/family outside of the internet!
2: Some people draw me gifts/fanart and tag me in those posts which helps exchange followers on both sides.
3: If you want to use an artist’s work as an icon, having credit for it in your description can help (after asking ofc). This is another way to get an artist traction.
4: Sharing content crossplatform (again, only with permission and credit)- sometimes people don’t have a tumblr or twitter but if they see an artist’s work that they want more of they might make an account!
5: Likes on tumblr do nothing. They’re bookmarks. They tell the poster: I saw your post and clicked a button to tell you i saw it. Likes on twitter are good. IDK bout likes on Insta
6: Making positive call out posts of your own! There’s plenty of negative ones so mix it up a little by being like “thIS PERSON COOL”
7: Reposting in subreddits (agAIN only with permission and credit!!!!)
8: *whispers* reblogging, leaving comments, getting invested their original content/ocs - this rly makes the artist’s day
thats as much as i can think of off of the top of my head, barring monetary ways and general likes/reblogs.

i cant access reddit noooo
Alright here’s the entire fucking thing because who gives a shit
Hi hello! As I started making my own picrew, i couldnt find readily available tutorials so i might as well put one here? if this is against the rules im so sorry about that hgdiuoji but yeah! also apologies in advance if im not clear, ill try to be as clear as i can but i cant guarantee anything.
so! i cant have any images properly but ill try my damndest to be helpful!
step 1: creating the actual picrew workstation
-youll need an account to make one, but that should be simple enough (im not 100% sure). a not i should say, that itll be much easier for you if you use a browser that translates things for you? because everything is in japanese so unless you can read japanese i suggest doing this
- youll be asked to give a name and pick between kisekae and random. i havent understood the difference myself, but the main one ive seen around on picrew is the kisekae ones so if you dont know itll be easy to default to that
step 2: youre on the main screen, what do you do?
- when youre here you can add a description, icon and tags to your picrew, as well as pick what the picrew can be used for (non commercial, commercial, individual and processing). i havent figured out what these mean but look around at other picrews and base your decision off of those! (you can select multiple out of the 4 options)
-youll see around the top left of your screen, that you have 500 parts available. this seems like one of two things at first, either "oh god thats not enough" or "oh god thats so much". not to worry not to worry! base items count upwards of that 500, but categories and different colour options dont affect it.
Step 3: ive added parts(categories), what now?
-from here on out everything should be decently simple. in "item" youre gonna be able to add items. when you do add an item, theres two boxes, you should put the item in both. if you put it just on the one on the left, youre not going to be able to see it on the picrew, but if you put it just on the right, youre not gonna be able to see the preview thingamajig. with mouths, eyes, facial features etc i should note, you should click on the "trim transparent areas" as it lets you see what they look like without them being small as all hell (its not gonna force the picture to have white borders or anything like that when i first tried it)
-if you go to configuration you will be able to add the category icon, and set whether or not the item can be moved around or rotated, and how many pixels it can move at a time. this is where youre also going to be able to add all the different colour options to be in your hairs, shirts, eyes etc, at the bottom right of the screen after youve scrolled a bit.
- enabling the resize option has caused it for 2 people other than myself for it to go to the top left, and not be where you draw it, so use that option with caution
Sorta step 4: im back on the main screen, what does the layer option mean, next to the parts/categories?
-the layers section lets you figure out if, say, the hair is above the eyes, or if the eyes are above the hair. essentially this works similarly to how a drawing programs have the layers functions.
and that is all! i hope that this was. actually helpful? and also i hope that this isnt against the rules of the subreddit gfindoijp. if any of you end up making your own picrews, i know yall are gonna do great :D! also apologies that this is a wall of text fgoidkpo. feel free to put questions and ill try my best to answer them!
edit: i have recently learned/realized picrew operates on a 600x600 pixel size! if any of your backgrounds end up being weird, or your picrew characters, this is most likely why!

So, I've got a very long rant/opinion here and Idk really know how to say this without coming off kinda bad but I'm gonna say it anyways. I agree with the fact that the seventeen tag has been kinda dry lately on most fanfic places, but it's really only in the smut area. It's the sane way with other groups too I feel like. All of the nice little innocent tags are boomin to this day and thats completely fine. I think the smut tag is dry tho bc lately I feel like a few social issues (like sexualizing people and disrespecting them and their identity) have crossed over into kpop and have been ?blown out of proportion? Lately there's been a rampage of people who like to say that writing smut about someone is disgusting and is dehumanizing because people want to assume that it would make the idols uncomfortable which could equate to some morality issues on how you are reducing someone only to their body without their consent and a bunch of stuff like that. It kind of pisses me off bc this is fiction. About grown adults. Clamping down on horny people who simp over hot asian men isn't going to solve the issues we face in real life. I think a shit ton is wrong with the world we currently live in, and deciding to come after something that isn't even real bothers me. Like what does that actually accomplish. But yeah, I think thats a reason why smut has been dying down. I mean, on youtube almost every video about unpopular opinions, or things they dont like about kpop will include something about shipping idols in fanfics. And then everyone in the comment section will talk about how its all fine and dandy in moderation, but once people start writing smut it's crossing the idols personal boundaries. It's something I've been seeing a lot more often and I think people who are interested in writing smut are being turned away from it bc we've gotten to a point where people are being called disgusting for having fantasies.
Hi Anon, thank you for sending in this Ask.
I want to preface this by saying: when I write or talk about Mingyu and Wonwoo fucking on my blog, it is a fantasy. I am not speculating about what the real Mingyu and Wonwoo might be like in bed. I am imagining the versions of Mingyu and Wonwoo that I have created in my head, that exist only in my stories. None of it is real. I understand that this can be a blurry boundary for some people. But for me, the separation between fantasy and reality is well-defined. Now, on to your Ask!
You’ve hit the nail on the head with this one. You’ve also touched on many of the issues I have been struggling with myself as of late. It’s difficult to argue about morals since everyone has a different set of values, as well as different comfort levels. Some people think real person fiction (RPF) is a gross invasion of privacy. Others are fine with it. And others don’t care one way or another. There is no single answer; I can only offer my answer. Which means, of course, people are welcome to disagree with it, or parts of it.
In this essay (LOL But forreal: this is an essay), I will be sharing my experience in the k-pop fanfic community from 2014 to present, the etiquette I personally abide by as a reader and writer of RPF, as well as my stance on RPF in general.
I started reading and posting fanfics back in 2014/2015 on a website called AsianFanfics (AFF). Obviously, no one on that site had a problem with RPF, since AFF is a platform made specifically for sharing stories about Asian celebrities. For many years, I read and enjoyed RPF with zero guilt. I scribbled away by myself in my own corner of fandom and curated my own content. I didn’t interact much with other fans, readers, or writers. I didn’t have a Twitter, and I only used tumblr to reblog memes. As a result, I’ve been able to avoid a lot of anti-shipping discourse, as well as purity and cancel culture. I had no idea there were so many negative opinions about RPF. It wasn’t until I became active on the subreddit r/Fanfiction last year that I learned about all the discourse surrounding RPF.
This newfound ‘awareness’ does make me feel guilty at times—but only because after mulling this over, I still don’t think this is something to feel guilty about.
Here’s what I remember, first and foremost, when I create and consume RPF: fanfics and my favourite ships are fictional, and fiction is fantasy. This is basic etiquette when it comes to RPF, and most people in the k-pop fandom understand this. Delusional fans exist, of course, but they are not representative of the entire k-pop community.
Another point of etiquette is to keep fanfics within fandom spaces. I would never push my fics into celebrities’ faces, or go around claiming that my fanfics are accurate representations of a k-idol’s life or personality, in any way, shape, or form. I would also discourage directing ship-related questions to official accounts, or bringing them up during fansigns or other face-to-face interactions; I believe that in these instances, shipping does have the potential to strain real-life relationships.
So with basic etiquette out of the way, let me share my approach to RPF in general.
As much as we like to think we know our favourite celebrities, we really don’t. All we see is their public persona. And this public persona is intentionally controlled, managed, and curated by a team of people: directors, tabloids, editors, makeup artists, publicists, etc. How “real” are these celebrities? We are so distanced from them that they may as well be fictional.
I draw from the public persona that idols project, and I work them into my own writing. But at the end of the day, these personalities are my own interpretation. My interpretation is probably nothing like an idol’s actual personality. I just use the “public persona/character” that idols portray as inspiration for my own stories, which are set in wildly different universes.
More than anything, I think of k-pop idols as “actors” in my fic. You know how when you write an original novel, you scroll through Google images, looking for the perfect person to portray your original character? RPF is literally that, except you might build upon pre-existing dynamics and personalities.
When it comes to explicit fanfiction, two main concerns are prevalent: one of consent, and one of sexualisation.
If we argue against explicit RPF due to lack of consent, we should be willing to apply the same lens to all explicit works. How do we know that the creator of a movie, book, series, etc., is okay with us using their characters in our stories, explicit or not? We don’t. Perhaps some creators encourage fanfiction, but don’t want their lovingly crafted characters engaging in sexual acts or experiencing trauma. We just don’t know. I feel this line is even more blurred when we talk about characters from movies or TV series.
Let’s take Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, as portrayed by Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan, from the Captain America movies as an example. I am willing to bet that when people consume and create explicit fanfiction about Steve and Bucky, they are imagining Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan in their heads. I doubt many people are imagining the 2D cartoon versions of Steve and Bucky, even though they’re technically the exact same characters. Why? Well, it could be because movies are more readily and easily consumed than comics, and so people are unfamiliar with comic book Steve and Bucky. But it might also be because fans find Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan attractive. Is this really any different from RPF, where fic authors make up everything about a celebrity’s life?
When readers and writers of fanfic talk about how hot Steve Rogers or Bucky Barnes is, those comments are about Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan’s bodies. When reading explicit stories, fans are going to picture Chris and Sebastian’s bodies in their head, doing sexual things. Can we say, “Well, it’s not really you, Chris/Sebastian”, when in a way, it is?
The reality is, people are going to thirst over celebrities, regardless of whether or not explicit fanfiction exists. They’re going to post thirst tweets on Twitter. They’re going to talk to friends and strangers online about how hot [insert celebrity name here] is. They’re going to fantasize about dating and having sex with their favourite celebrity. Or, as it is in my case, they’re going to make up stories in their heads about their favourite idols dating and banging each other. People are going to do all of this without ‘getting consent’ from the celebrity. Cracking down upon and shaming writers of RPF isn’t going to change any of that.
To be honest, I’m not sure why people think it is disgusting to imagine sexual scenarios about real people. It is okay and normal to have these kinds of fantasies. I suppose the alternative is to fantasise about having sex with cartoon characters instead? It’s a very binary way of thinking to say that if you imagine/write real people in explicit scenarios, you are immediately sexualising, dehumanising, or objectifying them. There is more to dehumanisation than writing smut about our favourite celebrities. For one thing, you can love someone and appreciate all parts of them, and still want to fuck their brains out. And generally, fanfics come from a place of love—love that is not only sexual in nature.
Is it the sharing aspect inherent to fanfiction? The possibility that a celebrity might stumble upon explicit works about them? The chances are very low, I think, of the k-pop idols I enjoy writing about coming across my English fics. But I also believe in curating your own content, and that applies to celebrities too. Perhaps a celebrity should not go searching for fanfics about themselves. And of course, people should not show celebrities their fanfics, unless invited.
Another argument I hear against (explicit) RPF is, “How would you feel if someone wrote fanfiction about you?” First off, I don’t like this argument because there’s a difference between someone who decides to be a public figure versus someone who decides to remain a regular private citizen. Celebrities should and do know what they’re getting into when they choose their occupation. (This is not to say, “They are celebrities; sexualise them all you want because that’s what they signed up for.” Here, I am only acknowledging that people might have sexual fantasies about celebrities they are attracted to. Presumably, celebrities are cognizant of this.)
If someone (whose existence I am not even aware of, mind you) decides they want to write explicit fanfiction of me in some tiny corner of the Internet, I wouldn’t care so long as: (1) they don’t shove it into my face, and (2) they don’t harass me and ask invasive questions about my personal life and relationships. It’s not hurting me or negatively affecting my life, so it wouldn’t even register as a blip on my radar. When fanfiction remains within its appropriate spaces, it is largely harmless.
Now, if a k-pop idol were to ask their fans to stop writing fanfiction about them, would I? Yes, I would. However, I can’t imagine that happening. Judging by the number of ‘sexy’ concepts, fanservice moments, and variety shows such as ‘We Got Married’, I am certain that k-pop idols realise they are the stars of many fantasies—some of which are explicit in nature. Considering the prevalence of shipping in the k-pop industry, I would argue that shipping is subtly encouraged.
It’s sad that so many talented writers are shamed out of fandom, or feel that k-pop cannot be the medium through which they tell their stories, or explore their sexuality, or cope with trauma, or simply have fun. Professional works and Hollywood love their RPF—readers and writers of fanfics should be able to, as well.
As you said Anon, “clamping down on horny people who simp over hot asian men isn't going to solve the issues we face in real life” (this is a lovely sentence, by the way). The kind of person who dehumanises another and reduces them to a sexual object will do so some other way, if not via fanfiction. I don’t think the issue of fetishisation can be fixed simply by telling people not to write explicit RPF. In my experience, people who read and write RPF are more respectful and thoughtful about these things than the general public. We’ve all seen the general public say highly sexual things about celebrities in the media and to their faces, or tag celebrities in their thirst tweets. Are these things less invasive than fanfiction? Personally, I don’t think so. And in my opinion, there are more pressing and damaging issues in stan culture than fanfic.
In conclusion, I don’t think there is anything wrong with creating and consuming RPF, both explicit and non-explicit so long as we:
Remember we are writing fiction
Keep RPF within its appropriate space, and
Do not harass celebrities about their personal lives and relationships
RPF is not for everyone. There may be people who enjoy RPF, but draw the line at explicit stories. This is fine. Everyone has their own personal preferences. What is not fine, however, is attacking people for creating things you don’t like. I’m not sure what kind of moral crusade people are on and what they hope to achieve by shaming writers of RPF, explicit or otherwise. Ultimately, fic authors are writing a fantasy. It’s not real; no one is being hurt. I think it’s important for people to curate their own content, and AO3 makes it very easy to filter out explicit works and unwanted tags.
Maybe this is me trying to justify my own participation in explicit RPF—I don’t know. What I do know is that I love k-pop, and fandom is an important part of my media and entertainment experience. I adore the k-pop idols I write about, and I just want to imagine them being happy and getting lots of love and orgasms. Let a bitch be horny, goddamn…
Some bonus fun facts!
At the time I am writing this, on AO3:
26.2% of Stray Kids fanfics are rated M or E
26.3% of Seventeen fanfics are rated M or E
29.0% of Merlin fanfics are rated M or E
34.9% of Captain America (Movies) fanfics are rated M or E
40.1% of BTS fanfics are rated M or E ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Coincidentally, I saw this post on Reddit this morning: Can we have a RPF positivity post?

thirstycersei replied to your post: someone give me a reason to talk about the jaclyn...
could u do like a summary i have no idea where to start but i luv tea
bless u i LOVE spilling shit about people, esp those shown to be absolutely shit beings dakhgdhgkahdhdagsdg BUT
super short tl;dr: jaclyn hill’s lipsticks are very obviously contaminated with hairs, fibers, and even METAL and people are fr getting injured, but jaclyn is a shit person and has yet to recall them and has instead doubled down that her stuff is safe to use despite more evidence cropping up everyday that something is seriously wrong
i get all my beauty guru tea from the subreddit beautyguruchatter in case you want to look at all the links and stuff yourself, so here’s the link to the first megathread about this (theres also multiple youtube videos and stuff but i def do urge you to see for yourself whats going on!)
so long story short, a month ago jaclyn released the launch video of her new brand, jaclyn cosmetics, and its first launch are nude lipsticks. already we have an issue with the launch - people ordering the lipsticks are not getting them on time despite paying twenty (20!!) whole bucks for expedited shipping but like, okay thats not too horrible things happen
very VERY soon after that we get into the meat of the controversy. one girl first posted that as she was using one of her lipsticks, a weird gritty texture was emerging from the lipstick itself. jaclyn shot her down fast as fuck, calling her a liar and saying that the grittiness came from the girl’s own lips. but soon enough, social media (mainly twitter) was EXPLODING with people coming forward with: that same gritty texture issue, saying they got melted lipsticks, finding weird little spheres of SOMETHING (we just dead dont know) embedded in them, finding fibers/LONG hairs also embedded in them, seeing what appears to be black dots on the surface of the lipsticks, fingerprints, dented packaging like. GIRL. it is a  L O T
pretty pastel please even made a video where she found metal stuck in the surface of a brand-new lipstick, and explains that people are actually being cut and having severe reactions to jaclyn’s lipsticks (which, reactions to makeup are common as everyone’s skin is different, but combined with all the above it...isn’t looking good lol)
jaclyn made two videos: one on youtube where she explained (see: lied her ass off) that none of this was really her fault! her ingredients are fda approved! the lab did this and the lab did that! dont mind the people in the industry calling me out for lying! these lipsticks wont hurt you! (lul) and another one on instagram where she still tried to explain away all these issues and says shes giving everyone a refund, including tax and shipping
now the really, really big issue with all of this is that jaclyn has yet to recall these nasty as fuck lipsticks and thinks that her “best course of action” is to give everyone a complete refund. i do agree that everyone should get a refund, but she shouldve pulled these shits from the shelves the S E C O N D someone said “im finding white fibers embedded in my lipsticks” instead of trying to double down by saying that her product is safe and that her manufacturer is at fault.  for someone like jaclyn (who has had multiple other issues with her past collabs) who claims to be so hands-on and invested in her brand that she’s been working “five years!!” on, it is seriously abhorrent that she continues to allow these to be sold at all when people are literally getting hurt lmfaooooooo
there’s a lot more that i havent covered (like jaclyn’s mom going on the defensive like. two days ago on instagram only to delete her account) but this post is already long as fuck so if u wanna get into the rabbit hole i suggest starting on reddit and twitter, and even some news articles as multiple news sources have covered this at this point

Why I Choose Bitcoin Cash
New Post has been published on https://hititem.kr/why-i-choose-bitcoin-cash/
Why I Choose Bitcoin Cash
I prefer a Peer to see digital money over the whole lot. Correct now the first-class form of this comes in the form of Bitcoin cash, which holds the ticker BCH on virtually all exchanges. My title is Collin Enstad, i’ve lived in the USA my entire lifestyles. I am a freelance director / cinematographer / steadicam operator. I first heard about Bitcoin in 2013 in the course of its bubble, the place it peaked at $1200. I consider my first purchase was once around $one hundred fifty however I only bought a bit bit, as much as I might find the money for being a broke school pupil. I made some cash and purchased matters with it, like this bizarre digicam rig. Of course part of the adoption of bitcoin is brought about via men and women speculating trying to generate income off of it. But i noticed I had actual utility, I could use it as money. An investment that’s liquid as hell. Excellent. I requested an harmless query in late 2015 on the uncensored bitcoin subreddit, /r/btc: ELI5: Why achieve this many individuals insist on a small block size?. I got first-rate answers, similar to Blockstreams function in taking up the progress, how Peter Todd remains to be seeking to these days to kill 0-affirmation transactions, and how the Core devs have been proscribing the bottom layer to push a 2nd one that they claimed would be even higher than the actual blockchain. All of these aspects nonetheless maintain proper to nowadays. I even respect a number of the names within the thread from again then with persons I still speak to in these days. I even had some put up calling out theymos, the king of censorship, round this time. How things have no longer transformed. The extra I dig up the more obvious the manipulation of public opinion. Once more, this was once in 2015 this was all being called out, 4 years ago. Thats close to 1/2 of bitcoins lifetime. Crypto is really just politics, but on a time scale which appears hundreds and hundreds of times faster.I was once continuously a huge blocker. 1MB is tiny. Its less knowledge than a 2d of this video. It gave the impression a majority of the community back in 2015 was once for bigger blocks too. How a small crew of Core developers took over and sabotaged the bitcoin experiment with never-ending small blocks will be rather the exciting case be taught in historical past class. Im nonetheless seeking to utterly wrap my head around how Gavin, the character Satoshi entrusted with the keys to the bitcoin code, used to be pushed out and ostracized for looking the logical answer, higher blocks. Its a narrative that takes a long time to tell, and entails a false Satoshi. Im currently engaged on a feature size documentary about the shitshow that’s bitcoins history. The real down and dirty bitcoin politics, no longer some loud mouth troll showing up on tv spouting nonsense. So the fork happened in August 2017 and the large block version, Bitcoin cash, didn’t win over the hearts and minds of traders. Instantaneous ridicule from the Core persons ensued, as used to be par for the path. Bcash is trash was once their mantra, in an try to rip the word bitcoin out of its name. Now take into account, theymos fairly ramped up his censorship on /r/bitcoin in 2015. Reddit used to be THE spot to talk bitcoin, and theymos actions make him, individually, the only greatest affect on this whole Scaling warfare. Go to any publish from again then about theymos increasing moderation and appear at how many individuals vehemently adverse it.One of bitcoins most important residences is censorship-resistance, however apparently whenever you go away the protocol layer you additionally abandon all of its ethos. When your methods hotel to silencing the opposition you understand your arguments aren’t on stable floor. If they were, they might let all of the dissent come their approach and evaporate before them in the face of truth. However no. The block and ban buttons are used as a type of religious piety. This itself was once a tremendous red flag that some thing used to be wrong with Bitcoin. As a latest concrete instance of manipulation, My ultra-modern video criticizing the lightning community was once the top put up on /r/btc, except every week historic news story broke in regards to the Twitter CEO, Jack, purchasing a hardware pockets all of a sudden unseated it. This Jack story was once in a antagonistic sub and it won the highest spot in an hour. Mods deleted the submit shortly after. The account had a history of vote botting. Proof Of Social Media. Par for the course for those against peer to peer money. And this this is the place I just get angry.BTC does no longer work as a trustworthy form of money, but its still pushed on unsuspecting noobs, many who now go to the bcash sunday service. These social media influencers have 10s of hundreds of thousands of followers that they preach the nice word to absolutely this many folks wouldnt listen to any person who was just basically unsuitable! This market is immature and albeit, just dumb. I really awoke to all of this when instantly I was paying $1 for a transaction rate in early 2017. This isn’t what I signed up for. My money will have to not disappear every time I need to move it. When Bitcoin cash forked, I was all in, actually with my nonetheless tiny stash and figuratively from an ideological standpoint. Does this provide me investment bias? Almost always, however again, Im now not talking tremendous cash right here.Irregardless, I do my research and its the one coin i can confidently put my cash in. I do know what it is trying to do is the reason bitcoin was created in the first place, which is what once more? Oh yeah, to offer each person in the world an possibility to be their own bank. To give humans the potential to transact with anyone in the world with out the necessity of a 3rd celebration, even if they make not up to $2 a day. That is bitcoin. I kept diving deeper into the rabbit hole. Undoubtedly each person couldnt be this deluded however they were. Advocating for the shrewd factor of raising the blocksize and how BCH is a reliable variation of Bitcoin on social media has been tiring. I dont know the way a few of these trolls are so lively and simply hostile.I grew up with the web, part of the primary iteration that had social media for his or her whole middle and excessive institution experience. However these bitcoin guys man, the most poisonous i have ever seen. You have to have thick epidermis when you even believe about having impartial idea in crypto. Its sad. I haven’t any doubt there are individuals whose full-time job it is to sow up disagreement and strife within people who want to see Bitcoin be the arena money. Theres even proof of In November of 2017 I made a industrial for BCH with the support of the Bitcoin money association. It used to be a excessive high-quality industrial in a barber store which showed bitcoin getting used as cash. Response from the group was once nice, and i located myself in Tokyo a pair months later shooting the Satoshis vision convention, where a few of the Bitcoin cash group attended.I interviewed lots of the prime leaders in BCH for the period of that point interval for my documentary together with Craig Wright. This man appeared to come out of nowhere and was once a large suggest of Bitcoin cash. He had charisma, unquestionably, even when his Satoshi claims have been iffy. I consider the BCH neighborhood sided with him on account that he was once so anti-core. An enemy of an enemy is your buddy. And on the grounds that this buddy was very aggressive and outspoken in the direction of the purpose, many were inclined to let his shadiness slide. However very quickly after this convention actual bitcoin devs, who in reality work on and comprehend the bitcoin protocol, began calling him out on his lies. It was once rough to confess youd been duped, but right here we all are. Then, of direction he forked off into his possess coin months later, and his fraud lives on. Then comes the altcoin arguments. For those who dont like BTC so much simply use nano? Dash is the real peer to see cash! Lol noob do you even cardano? Well, considering BCH has the identical transaction historical past relationship again to the genesis block in 2009, one could argue the distribution of the coin is more decentralized than any of the altcoins, due to the fact that it has been around the longest.Im a strong believer in Proof of work as well. Even though BCH has a lot less hashpower than BTC, it has been shown how a gigantic portion of hash would transfer to BCH in safeguard of a malicious actor, like we noticed within the hashwar. The miners like Bitcoin money, however they generally follow gains, and this means mining BTC and BCH on the same price as the fee ratio between them. Now that BCH is free from its former crippled blocksize, most things the altcoins can do, BCH would enforce itself. Even things just like the lightning community would work muchhhh higher on Bitcoin cash as a result of the small charges to open and shut channels. Bitcoin was once intended to be the one crypto that ruled all of them, absorbing the quality altcoin facets. Vitalik Buterin found out this was no longer the case to any extent further, and he ran off to make Ethereum in 2015 after a lot combating with the Core devs. So right here I to find myself, in March 2019, nonetheless a supporter of Bitcoin cash. That you may believe the creative and grassroots power of individuals who just wish to construct. I hear the Bitcoin OGs say its the same spirit that bitcoin had it in its early days.Persons that CARE about making bitcoin exceptional again. And of path, the small blocks made building apps problematic for devs, because the excessive charges and sluggish confirmations might disable some functions who relied on inexpensive and speedy transactions. Full blocks rationale unreliability. And if youre a dev and need to construct an app, why within the hell would you use a base protocol that can instantly price $50 for a single use. If BCH stops being the excellent type of P2P money, make no mistake, i’d drop aid. Im no longer a blind follower and am at all times watching to mission my beliefs. Tokens, Decentralized handles, Badger wallet, suggestions.Cash, CashShuffle, Satoshidice the record goes on. So many of those projects are simply now hitting the Bitcoin cash market, and wallets are looking to catch up and implement these elements as speedy as they may be able to.Its nonetheless early in Bitcoin Cashs development existence, and the power within the community is the equal one I felt once I first received into it, vibrant, filled with hope for a greater future, and now with an added tenacity to make certain that no dangerous actors can once once more spoil the imaginative and prescient of Peer to look cash for the complete world. .

I not saying free reign. But teens, even the "good" ones the teachers love, will sooner cut you out than compromise experience. It imprtant to give them safe outlets for what they want to explore, even if you don agree. I did goto Riverville and did a couple of side missions. I got the impression that there was a lot of random areas, camps, caves and ruins etc to explore. I went straight with Jespar to Ark and didn go off the beaten path on the way. The formula is perfect, not too waxy, not too hard, and the dark brown color matches me so well. My brows look so much better with the Brow Wiz when before I never really noticed a difference no matter what I used. However, they aren obstructing the surgical field nor your airway. 영암출장안마 Awful. I haven taken it in years now, and I so much happier. I clean now, too.. I have been thinking the same thing. I know that I prefer Bo3, but my assumption is that most people don actually prefer it. Maybe a lot of people on this subreddit are building towards Bo3 decks, but I don think enough to skew the statistics SO HEAVILY towards Bo1 being the primary game type played in MTGA data. If you gently push you'll get a finger inside and thats where the cup needs to enter. The first 영암출장안마 part may be hard to enter cause the pubic bone is there, so its kind of small and tight, but if you keep going in then the tissue becomes more mmm spongy? And flexible. The cup needs to get to that space or else it wont open. Listen, my SO isn the most lovey dovey or emotional guy, he very blunt and to the point, he doesn "get" a lot of the mushy gushy stuff that I personally really enjoy. However, he does them anyways. He makes the effort because he knows how much I love it, how important it is to me and ultimately he wants to see me happy, even if it doesn necessarily make sense to him.. Lol, this person doesn know anything about good quality brushes. Even Jeffree has spoken about how people who perceived brushes as quality (such as animal hair brushes or brushes) aren that great actually because they soak up a lot of product and make it actually difficult to blend out because the brushes stay super saturated. You want brushes that are synthetic, fine and blend easily while not absorbing a lot of your product like a weird quasi beauty sponge. Acne can be eliminated with yogurt because it contains natural antibacterial and anti fungal properties. For instance, he met one of his own deacons. The good old man addressed him with the paternal affection and patriarchal privilege which his venerable age, his upright and holy character, and his station in the church, entitled him to use and, conjoined with this, the deep, almost worshipping respect, which the minister's professional and private claims alike demanded.

If youre reading this im hoping its because youre also a lonely man.Ive been alone my entire life, no friends, no family. But this subreddit isnt where you want to go to learn anything about dating advice, or.... sex. This sub is full of the worst most hostile people, and if youre one of those people, maybe this may get you to take a long hard look at yourself. Today 2 girls told me my life doesnt matter, that im ugly, annoying. Im sure the women of this sub will say I deserve it and so on. But these are women who I thought were my friends, but... as an ugly male, this is always a stretch. No woman wants to be friends with an ugly male. So im hideous and deformed, im so ugly that people give me second looks because im so strange to look at. I can be so kind and generous "THATS YOUR FAULT!" says the women of this sub. "YOU FELL FOR THE TRICKS AND LIES, THAT IS YOUR FAULT!"I took some notes and wrote them down and I am going to list them here, they are valid points and im sure ill be shamed and gas lit for having these thoughts, but here we go.One big issue ive noticed is these days if it doesnt generate profit, if it doesnt bring in money, it is seen as useless. They scream and scream you need to have hobbies and skills, but mention youre learning this, or maybe reading this, or you do that; "and.... what does that do? HUH!? HUH!?!?!?!? whats that do for you!?" they are saying its useless, that it has no value, because its not wage-labor or bringing in a lucrative income. In the United States we live in a thing called a guilt based culture. A hyper individualistic and guilt based culture, its no secret that social systems exist to keep people in line; the guilt based system works well with the individualistic culture of the U.S. because you can be encouraged to feel guilty and thats your business. Women do this to men on here constantly, enforcing the "guilt" you should feel from being.... attracted to them. "uhm, its wrong to ask women out...." they are attempting to make you feel guilt and get satisfaction from it. Women hold the most power in this culture, and you have nothing you can do to them. They can treat you how they want such as telling me I am worthless, and dont matter.... you can say "well fine, never speak to me again." and they will giggle and laugh, "HAHAAA!!!!! GOOD! WE GOT ALPHAS ON OUR SIDE!"The second big thing ive noticed is the whole "its your personality" bullshit thats regurgitated on here. Its actually really inconsiderate, cruel, and dishonest to tell someone who is ugly that they are being treated like trash by women because... "their personality". Its part of this guilt based thing, they want you to look at yourself, wonder what exactly is wrong, and to sit in guilty silence. On some dating sites you can actually see who visits your profile AND what pics they look at. I had an account on one of these sites and never ever got matches, so id message random girls if I liked their profile (this will get guilt tripped im sure, as if I should feel guilty for messaging women on dating sites) id notice once they read my message, theyd go to my profile and look at a few of my pics, then.... blocked.Obviously what happened was they read my message, decided to see what I look like, saw im deformed and hideous, and blocked me. If you actually see that and say, "nah it was your personality." you are fucking delusional. On a side note as a kid one time, and this goes into social influences on our lives... I was young and riding the bus, and there was no seats open. Only 2 people to a seat they said. I saw only one seat with one person in it, and people obviously didnt want me with my deformed hideousness to sit next to them, so I sat in this open seat next to this girl, I said to her... "hey im sorry, but no other seats are open." she looked at me and started yelling "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING TO?" I told her... "uhhh you..." she goes, "youre a fucking weirdo!" and climbed over me to sit with 2 other girls... 3 to a seat which you arent allowed to do. I said "hey... i didnt do anything..." and one of the other girls (notice they are all female) turns around to say "SHUT UP! nobody likes you!"I started to cry...People on this sub, when I bring up situations like that, tell me im "playing victim" that I deserved it. Fuck... im so tired of being so alone. They claim women are cruel for their "own protection" which is the most sexist fucking thing to say on earth. As if all men are fucking animals who cant control themselves and need to be treated like shit. its an excuse to treat men bad, and is sexist.Lets move on, the third thing.... uhmm wanting dates or sex is not a fucking mental problem. If a man is struggling with dates or sex, to tell him he needs therapy and fucking mental evaluations for being curious on dating or sex, is fucking dehumanizing. Just because someone wants dates or sex does not mean they need to be doped up on psych drugs ffs.If you are seeking advice on this sub, be prepared for that. They will fucking try to diagnose you on here.I think the "youre playing victim" trope is overused as fuck... it just invalidates (i hope im using this word right) a mans emotions, its saying "get over it" in so many words. And finally, those one guys will hound you and have the women join them as symbols of how you should be...yeahhh im talking about those guys who are like "im a 45 year old virgin! and you dont hear me complaining! im fine with being alone forever right girls!" and they go "YEAH! SEE BE LIKE HIM!" while they have hook up sex with other guys and shame you for being curious about it.they are virtue signaling and trying to guilt you into thinking being alone is acceptable.Honestly, just move on to a different sub. Watch the hostility of the comments I get for evidence, they will be incoherent angry rants how "women dont make mistakes" and wont even address the issues.Evidence enough. via /r/dating_advice

ok so im on pc now and ive had time to think about this and anyway, under the cut you will find a post in which i very quickly* make a case as to 1) why pirating is a fundamentally neutral act, 2) why copyright law is bad, and 3) why the idea of art theft isnt a big deal**
also keep in mind im coming at this from the framework of our current economic system, this is obvious but i still feel the need to state it.
* or at least as quickly as i can explain it, this is still super long ** there is a caveat here but youll see what i mean
1) PIRACY AS A NEUTRAL ACT
let’s start with the most easily arguable point: copying is not theft. piracy doesnt “steal sales” because the original is still here! if i illegally download a taylor swift album, the album doesnt disappear from the shelves. i would even argue the idea of “lost sales” is a lie, how can it be a lot sale if there was no sale to begin with? it’s not like stealing in a supermarket in which case the supermarket did buy their stock and me stealing it results in a net loss of money, most the people working on that book/movie/album /etc. already got paid.
even then this idea of “lost sales” doesnt account for people who wouldnt have bothered buying it to begin with, people who will pirate art to share it to others who will then go on to buy it, people who cannot buy the art right now but will in the future, or even people who wouldnt have heard of the art if they didnt see it on their piracy subreddit or torrenting software of choice.
gonna use myself as an exemple here: i pirate a LOT of comics, mainly because being into comic books is an expensive hobby and it’s how i figure out which ones i actually want physical copies of. some comic book series are long as fuck, and when the invincible TV show came out i told a friend about the comics which i DONT own physical copies of because that would cost me around 300€. she went on to buy every single compendium. thats a big sale that wouldnt have happened had i not pirated this comic book.
heres also a study by the european union that shows piracy doesnt hurt sales in case my anecdotal evidence doesnt convince you, which it shouldnt on its own and thats why im adding it here
so, piracy doesnt steal sales. it doesnt affect sales at all. thats just facts. if piracy doesnt hurt sales then it doesnt hurt anyone, it’s not a fundamentally good thing but it’s not a fundamentally bad thing either. and so, piracy is a neutral act.
2) COPYRIGHT LAW IS LITERALLY SO BAD GUYS
disney. enough said. we all agree what disney did to the public domain is evil, if you say you dont youre either a weird capitalist type i am not willing to argue with or lying. at the very start copyright law applied for 28 years, now it applies for 70 years AFTER the creators death. we all agree thats evil.
but copyright law was always evil. firstly because what is “similar” is also subjective, let’s not forget the deviantart days in which using a color scheme even slightly similar to another OC meant accusations of plagiarism. let’s not forget art style theft, let’s not forget all the music controversies i dont know by heart because theres so many. this is actually a very interesting conversation about the derivative nature of art! the last person who should get to decide if an art piece is too similar to another is a judge, leaving no room for discussion.
copyright law also disincentives people from crediting artists. taking music as an exemple here: many songs have been nuked from all different platforms for sampling other works even if sampling technically falls under “fair use”, a law which is... honestly useless. firstly because it doesnt apply to every country, but also because copyright law scares people into buying rights and so fair use law doesnt get used much. so many people who sample dont credit the original artists as a way to cover their tracks, if the original isnt credited then thats less evidence the original is even in here! many of them would like to, but they also dont want to get sued you know?
im also gonna argue here that anyone remixing/editing/sampling/etc. art made that decision themselves, and that decision also deserves credit. they wouldnt have done it if they didnt think it makes their art better in some way, and reducing it to “you just didnt want to make it yourself” betrays a very shallow understanding of the way art works but thats just my opinion.
im not trying to convince anyone of outright copyright abolition here, since this is a conversation on piracy, but i also want people to understand it’s a terrible law. “piracy is bad because of copyright law” is just an appeal to authority, and appealing to an authority we should be highly critical of in my honest opinion.
3) ARE YOU SAYING ART THEFT IS GOOD ACTUALLY?
when we say art theft were usually referring to either tracing or taking a work and reposting it, which are both copying. copying is not theft, so i will refer to the practice as “art copying” for this segment. and to answer the question, no no no absolutely not.
at least not UNCREDITED art copying. we cant stop it from happening, but it’s made even harder in a world where some people are AFRAID of crediting. and if your work gets copied and goes uncredited, it’s easier than ever to prove you made it! yes even straight up reposting is fine because, guess what, ive already explained why copying is neutral. you may not like it but that doesnt make it inherently bad.
i bring this up because a lot of people jump to this topic when we talk about piracy and copyright but... when you pirate a book, the authors name is still on the page. when you pirate a movie, the credits are still here. you cant pirate without knowing who made the thing, and it’s yours to do what you will with it. remix it, edit it, sample it, keep it to yourself if you want to. give credit where you can.
piracy is sharing, simple as that. piracy sometimes means getting to experience things you wouldnt otherwise, like with old nintendo games. piracy means direct access to art that can then fuel more art. and personally, i just dont see the harm in that.
love seeing piracy discourse on the dash when im literally anti-copyright like. should i weigh in. are my ideas too extreme for this discussion.
