I found myself walking down the corridor once again, the stress I was facing enough to keep sleep from coming.

It had now been at least 50 hours since I last slept. You would think that "dead" people don't need sleep, but since I'm still alive in the overworld my needs are different.

I find myself at the last door at end of the corridor. I push against the large doors and enter the silent library. I subconsciously walk over to the nearest bookshelf and retrieve the brown book I left there.

I flip open the pages and quickly scan over them.

'Memory #1 - You are Amnesia. You are not fully alive nor fully dead. You work for Selyna.'

'Memory #6 - You were betrayed. Back stabbed. They never loved you.'

'Memory #13 - Watch out for Brendan. He's always watching you.'

'Memory #21 - Briar is planning something. Don't let her get away with it.'

'Memory #25 - Zaaron is good. Kairo is good. [CENSORED] is good. Silas is good. Lua is good. Selyna is good. Protect them.'

"Up late again, huh?"

I jump and shut the book closed as I whip around to find Silas leaning on the doorway.

"GOD- Can you not do that!?" I hiss but he shushes me.

"Quiet, don't wake anyone up. And I didn't mean to scare you.. I just was wondering why you're awake in the dead of night?"

I take a deep breath and put the book gently back on the shelf. I turn back around and walk past Silas who quickly turns to follow me.

"Don't worry about why I'm up." I say as I walk down the corridor once again.

Silas walks fast beside me. "Sorry it's just.. you look dead."

I stare at him. "Way to rub it in."

He quickly shakes his hands. "Oh shit, no, that's not what I meant-! I mean you look dead as in you look like you haven't slept- god I'm sorry that was really insensitive-"

I grab him by the shoulders. "I was joking."

He looks at me confused, then sighs. "Right.. I forgot how.. expressionless you are.."

I huff. "Yeah, you lose the ability to express yourself after your second attempt at dying."

Silas stares at me concerned.

I groan. "Fuck Silas, I was joking again."

He laughs awkwardly. "Yeah, I definitely knew that.!"

There's a few seconds of silence before Silas speaks again.

"Sooo.. Insomnia?"

I stare at him. "What.?"

"You know.. That thing where you have trouble sleeping-"

"I know what insomnia is, idiot. But why did you bring that up?"

"I thought that's why you were up this late."

"Well, I guess a bit of that mixed along with some nightmares and stress is why I'm up, but what about you?"

He smiles awkwardly. "I guess I just wanted to talk to you some more. We haven't really spoken since.. You got here."

I sigh in response. "Right.. Thanks by the way.. For helping me when I arrived."

Silas smiles at me. "No problem Amne.. Say.. Can I show you something? I think you'll like it."

I think for a moment. "Why not, I don't think I'll be sleeping anytime soon."

His smile grows. "Great! C'mon!" He says and reaches out for my hand. I place my hand in his and he drags me outside.

The sky is dark and helps contrast the snowflakes that fall as Silas leads me away. I wrap my cloak around myself with my free hand as the slight wind picks up.

Soon we arrive at a large tree in the garden outside the castle. Silas plops down oto the ground and pats the ground nex to himself, signaling me to sit. I oblige and he points up at the sky.

"Look up, this is the best place for stargazing."

I tilt my head up and I immediately stare in awe at the beauty of the stars. Each little constellation is bright against the dark sky. A few shooting stars pass by and I find myself wishing up in them.

I look away for a second to find Silas staring at me.

I glance at him. "What are you-"

He laughs, genuinely. "I've never seen you so happy."

I feel my face go a bit red, and I'm grateful that the hood of my clock helps cover it.

Silas eyes go back to looking at the stars. "I always come here when things get hard. It's.. really pretty here. Even if I know things won't get better right away.. at least I can enjoy happy things like this."

I stare at him for a second. The way his ruby eyes gleam as he gazes at the stars.. The way his shoulders ease.. The way he seems so.. peaceful. His calm makes me feel calm.

I go back to gazing at the stars.

Silas was right. Even if things didn't get better. At least you could find happy moments like these.

They won't last forever however. But it's nice to enjoy them while they are there.

The stars glisten throughout the whole night, and at some point I think I finally managed to fall asleep.

All I know is the next morning I awoke in my room, lying under the soft covers.

And if the following days I find myself in the blonde boys presence. I'll know why.

I'll enjoy my time with him while we train together. While we travel to the overworld. While we tease Lua. While we gaze at the stars.

Silas is my star, and I hope he'll last forever.

Bean Eclipse Au has my love and seeing any post makes me very happy but now I want to get to know your Space au a little. May you give us some funfacts about the characters to get to know them better?

Aw thank you! I'll do my best describing some things! Its been a moment where I dont know what ive said about them on here. ((The ladies, are by @nekojaf so if u want info on them you gotta ask her!)) First, We got Eclipse (yes thats his name, unless we go au hopping its-)

-He's a captain of his own spaceship (however its mostly a ship that can house just a handful of people.)

-He's self confident, he's got leadership qualities and doesn't stand down often. However can be a huge flirt (as Beige unfortunately deals with). -I've mentioned before but Eclipse (like other models of his kind) are far more Emotive than the previous models.

-Eclipse is the reason Lunar has a collection of plushies. The guy is very good with sewing. -He's not familiar too much with the 'Star' like SAMS' Eclipse is. At least not currently. He's far more concerned with other things.

-His relationship with Earth is rather... interesting. He may be vocal about not wanting to speak to her but its mostly cause she's like a mom who tends to baby him. (Although he can't blame her frequent check ins.) -Most people avoid him, but that's cause he's made an interesting name for himself.

Lunar, my BOY who started this whole au actually.

-The space suit was given to him by Eclipse. Who may have taken it.

-He comes off as sweet, but don't think less of him in comparison with his brother. He's mischievous as well, and cunning when needed.

-Far better at keeping his emotions in check than Eclipse.

-Unlike Eclipse (again) he's actually rather good at y'know. Getting the girl.

-However, he is younger than Eclipse. In part not as experienced with the whole line their apart of.

-Rather handy with his shots, but better at driving. Also has a bit of a name for himself.

-Cannot actually believe how his brother acts around Beige from time to time. He's judging his brother immensely everytime. Just let her clear the hyperdrive so they can go!

Moon!

-It should not be a shock he's still a scientist in this au. (Mad scientist Sun would say...)

-But in part of that, its due to being part of a Space Camp. He's suppose to be in charge of the sciences of how rockets run. However he uses most of that to make his own things.

-It usually does end up with the kids handling it. Unless Sun gets involved. Kids love the anti gravity chamber a lot.

-Also in this AU he is still AroAce.

-However since Sun and him are under a company, they don't usually leave the Camp. They can't really.

-Moon has made a Star.

Sun, sweetie my darling.

-Although him and Moon run the Camp together, Sun mostly handles the kids. (Although, Sun more or less just doesn't want them getting hurt cause of Moon's experiments.) -He's been having trouble with some outsiders makings noise lately but it's usually something he can handle. The dome around the place keeps the camp relatively safe (and Safer with Moon's additional technology)

-He goes by his own checklist, although the one from the higher ups isn't something he wants to fully deviate from. It's kept things running, and their own job secure.

-He may be dressed up as a Spaceman, he's uh... not actually one. At least not by astronaut standards.

-They don't talk to other models of themselves.

-Earth and Sun usually can talk for hours. However, he tries not to keep her too long. She's got others to check in.

Bloodmoon, yes it's him!

-The possibly second youngest.

-He's the only model of his type that... well Ruby's seen actually.

-An avid fan of Invader Zim, due to many movie nights he's had with Ruby. (In an effort to help him learn some things about people...without being near too many.) -He doesn't understand why he needed clothes, unaware of his own autonomy.

-Unfortunately for everyone, WAS destroying planets and ships, destruction in his wake. No one could keep him contained. Until Ruby. But she's not really trying to contain him.

-His curiosity mainly keeps him in check, at least in regard to his learning program. He still seeks some chaos, even if it is on a isolated ship in the meantime.

-Comet Boy! Danger, do not engage.

Angel, y sweet sweett bababyyy

-Probably the oldest? He's quite a mess it's hard to tell.

-Has been passed around here and there from job to job so he's very well versed in many skills!

-Earth finding him again was a blessing. She thought she lost him. Incredibly thankful for Cosmo.

-Is far more interesting in helping Cosmo than being helped. He's survived quite a bit!

Killcode, don't you forget my giant man.

-Was made by Moon, or from Moon. In doing so, he's got a few quirks he picked up.

-Such as... He's actually less violent. However able to withstand radiation, rocket blasts, high velocity impact, mundicide... Assumingly.

-Incredibly Tall. A normal person would maybe feel incredibly intimidated by how much he towers.

-A darling cook, he mostly has to kneel for that though. Not many ktichens he's been in are for his height.

-He's a rather calming personality, has no qualms to start fights.

Earth and Solar Flare (or welll... the ACTUAL Sun)

-Two AI's made for well.. as you guess the Earth and the Sun.

-Earth is as expected to be motherly, warm, stern with her own wants. While SF has less expected results of being rather recluse, cold, to the point and selective in their interactions.

-Earth is partly why the actual planet is far cleaner. With her being actually forthright about the planets condition. It helps if theres someone who may be disappointed if you throw your trash on the ground, or company's dumping waste. She may have been made, but she more or less is her own being. Most don't mind since her main concerns usually fall with her own planets affairs. That doesn't mean she doesn't have concerns of other places.

-SF was made as a safe bet to monitor the sun. However, hue to unexpected AI developing their own personality. SF doesn't fairly speak to much anyone aside Earth. He rather feels she's better at relaying information than he is. Ironic, they find.

-Recently some reptilian android has started to make some impressions on Earth, SF doesn't normally hear her talk about individuals like this aside the 'children' she oversees.

-Earth also ended up supervising the celestial and eclipse models. Attaching to them far more than expected but due to- [The Rest is too glitched to make out.]

Well that was more typing than I thoguht it'd be. But me and Neko have quite a bit of art. The main inspiration for a lot of it is retro futurism. But thank you for asking! You also got Earth in there too. My sweet lady I love her.

So, Graveleaper, he tries to set souls to rest How would he feel about or deal with vengeful spirits like Cassidy who refuse him like they did Old Man Consequences?

You could say it's part of Graveleaper's job to ensure that these spirits will never leave the limbo they're found in.

Some spirits decide not to go, so they can watch over a loved one. Other spirits are simply too afraid of entering this state of "non-existence". Then there are those angry spirits that refuse to die.

If a vengeful spirit isn't ready to move on, Graveleaper can't do much but wait for them to decide on themselves, even if it takes years until that happens. He can try and talk to them, but never actively intervene.

Some spirits learn to circumvent the rules and manifest into the world of the living, a.k.a. possession.

as a longtime zelda fan im subscribing to the theory that skyward sword's ending caused another timeline split where:

a) ss!link dueled demise and sealed him in the master sword, subsequently putting fi into "a sleep without end". this is where every other game takes place

b) ss!link used the goddess statue to kill the imprisoned demise like it was supposed to happen before ghirahim messed everything up. this is where totk and botw take place.

it explains why botw/totk!zelda can still hear fi in the master sword despite no other hero after ss!link ever interacting with her (cause shes asleep), why there are two (2) imprisoning wars (pre-ALttP, and Totk's) and why the latest two games are so far removed from everything.

it also explains why totk!ganondorf became the second coming of the demon king, because demise was never truly killed in that timeline. link wished for the complete eradication of demise, not his hatred. the triforce makes no distinction between good and evil, after all.

in a), hyrule is founded by hylians from ss!zelda and link's time, in b) the zonai descended and rauru founded hyrule instead

the only debunk of this theory i see is b) timeline not having a fully forged master sword since ss!link took it with him to kill demise. a) timeline still having the mother goddess statue brought down to the surface also has could be contested but i think that can be explained by skyward sword needing to end in a closed timeloop, and the triforce's power doing its thing. thoughts?

Hearing Zhou get excited about driving in Fernando's car during their Renault/Alpine stint together.

i think the sketch looks silly and goofy and funny so i find it important to share with you the mere presence of the faces i drew on it. i drew it on top of the boxes without staying inside its borders because i find my proportions can get wonky if i draw them cropped in a restricted space. and I feel trapped otherwise and i will draw BAD!!! give me spaceeeee to go wild!!!!

the head circles are there for emotional support

very low res speedpaint because truth is the canvas was much bigger than the space where my comic was placed. i didnt account when exporting my timelapse in 720px that that tiny space would look so pixelated ... but it's able to be percieved, so its okay.

(i will now comment on my process and it is not brief sorry)

usually i would try to clean up my sketches and figure out what goes on top before jumping into linework, but since there are multiple panels and drawings i chose to jump into inking right away for the sake of brevity. i just went in with a brush that uses pen pressure and drew what was needed. i added extra line thickness and contrast in areas around the face because it helps direct your eyes there more easily that way.

according to her equipment rei has a chain belt but i only remembered it existed once I was going to color, and i did not like that discovery... I chose to ignore it to maintain my peace. i already have the color palettes for these characters figured out, and i didnt really want to think about a new element at the moment www I tend to overthink those things a lot so i skipped it

the rest is rather straightforward! not that anything else wasn't, but in here i could turn my brain off and sing. linework and sketching require mumbling so i cannot turn my brain off. just block in the characters with a solid color so i can have a mask (something along those lines,) where the color can stay inside. then just color in !!!

Base colors just had slight cell shading on the skin, and for the hair i airbrush a bit of the skincolor in low opacity near the forehead... I'm not sure what it means, but i can look at the faces easier with it somehow. i like the gentle subtlety it adds even if you cant really tell. it makes things look nice.

background was just me blocking in the color of the wall and floor, shade the wall a bit, then slap a noise and free use wood texture on top. work smarter not harder ! yet it took a bit to make it look stylistically fitting with the characters, and even now i think bottom middle panel looks odd. whatever!!!

for the middle panel i thought itd be funny if the background was a solid silly and colorful one to contrast the next panel's sketchy black one. a contrast to how the word widow is seen. on that note my handwritting is not pointy. i gaslighted my hand into thinking that it was indeed pointy in that moment so i could write "not-yet dead person" in letters that didn't seem cute. my hand did not fall for it but it complied anyway

that's basically it! I'm not sure what else i could say that doesn't feel barebones because it really is that straightforward. if you're curious I used clip studio paint for this. only special brush used was for linework (a brush named Lemon Brush), the rest used were just the default. my computer gets the least credit. it was trying to convince me a 20mb file was going to nuke it all the time and hardly let me save multiple times so i do not appreciate it

I have a big google doc thing where I keep track of media and stuff (putting everything in loosely ranked categories), which is mostly just for my own reference so I know what tv shows I've already seen before, etc. and I never really look back through it, typically just a quick "okay, watched two movie in the past 8 months, need to quickly slap them somewhere in the lists. okay. done. save document. exit". But today I was actually reading through some of the old notes and there are like... MULTIPLE places where my comment is basically "It would have been good if it were about elves" or "I wish there was a fantasy show made in this same style" or "It's well made, but I just keep thinking about how I would like it more if everyone was an elf or was in old 1700s costumes" or etc like...... lol.... Most biased media ranking system on earth blatantly made by someone with an extremely hyperspecific range of narrow interests. It'd be like if a food reviewer only had 5 foods they actually liked, so they'd just go to a pizza place and be like "eh, the pizza was okay, but I just think it would be better if it was cereal instead. :/ ...2 out of 10"
