PROLOGUE - We All Live In A Smelly Submarine (Comic)
Nine Master Detectives and one detective-in-training convene with the Chief aboard the Nocturnal Detective Agency's semi-sub-aquatic headquarters. It's pretty cramped, and it reeks of tobacco.
Yakou tries to take charge of the group, but quickly finds that Master Detectives in greater numbers are not easy to give orders to...
((tw: cigarettes, cartoon violence + blood))
Suddenly the phone rings! They make Yuma answer it, of course.
They chat with #1 who tells them to investigate "Kanai Ward's Ultimate Secret" and the "Great Global Mystery".
Then the Master Detectives start talking about using their Fortes to start digging into Amaterasu Corp ASAP, and Yakou balks. "Don't piss them off," he pleads, "they're too scawy :( if we just stand really still and don't bother them maybe the mystery will solve itself :'D"
The Chief's cowardice causes a stir in the room.
Zilch and Aphex's bickering becomes louder and more heated. Yuma can tell looking at Pucci - sitting on the floor next to the guy in the fireplace - that the volume level is starting to piss her off. He's worried she'll get enraged like she did on the train, but before she can -- a different voice speaks out.
Finally, the conversation winds back around to Yakou's leadership abilities.
And then the extended gang gets a radical anime opening. Yippee!

Feels like this one took a while, but honestly I banged most of this out over the past couple days. I've been busy working on Chapter 1... and forgot the game also had a prologue. Whoops. I guess that means Chapter 1 will be uploaded pretty soon after this one - maybe on Monday or something.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy - I've had a blast reading through everyone's tags on Chapter 0 so far and each little comment gives me so much serotonin you have no idea ;u; Keep 'em comin'! (My askbox is also open if you have any questions or theories about Boba AU so far >:D)

i'm so excited that aurora has posted ev3ns main story side A because oh my god. having been able to proof for them has been a lot of fun but i'm also excited to see that there's a lot of very explicit aromantic rep in everything but name with raito. my little freak (affectionate) but also posting this in the aromantic tags because i know a lot of people are looking for something meaningful when it comes to aro characters in media and i am going to try and spread the 18trip bug.

Me: I have this idea for a fic! I think it will be about 9-10k words! A good amount! Not too little not too much!

#Hhnnnghfkdjdkd#I'm actually not entielrybsure how far done I am because I keep skipping around which part I'm writing#It's got 7 chapters. Chp 2 is 90% done(mostly needs editing) chp 1 is.... I think around 40% done. I'm not sure#I think chp 4 is around 75% done but I might end up writing more there and it will get longer. Or it will be short and its almost done#Chp 5 is about 70-80 done.#Chapter 3 is only 20% done#And 6 and 7 have like two sentences in them#(Its a 5+1 fic but also has a prologue chapter at the beginning#Which is the only reason I'm able to bebop around so much and know how done each one is)#Chapter 2 is so funny too. Because I wa like. man this is going to be a short chapter. I need to add a little more to match the others#It's the longest one so far#🙃#Okay but I am excited about this#I hope I finish this#Writing woes

my thoughts on fire emblem will never be coherent because on one hand you have the nerd part of my brain who hates fire emblem three houses for every second it spends outside of traditional fire emblem gameplay flavours and on the other hand you have the gay idiot who just rewatched ferdinand & hubert's A+ support for the 5th time this year and also has about 280 hours put into fe3h
#'i dont really like 3h' i say starting yet another fucking playthrough#when 3h peaks it PEAKS ok. its just that im not a fan of p5r for the exact same reason. the Life aspect for ME takes away from the main draw#id like p5r more if it was mostly just dungeoncrawling with turnbased combat (i know this because i have and enjoy smtv)#and id like fe3h more if i could skip through the months with no repercussions. now that im chaining ng+#and yeah thats on me for wanting to make s rank everything byleth a reality. i know. i just get bored during the months#and also just the entire first act of the game because again. ive played through it so many times#theres a reason i appreciate fates having the option to just skip to the part where the path diverges on subsequent playthroughs#im so tired of tutorials...#'wow byleth have you considered standing in the trees' WHEN THIS GAME RELEASED I WAS 15 ISH AND AT THAT POINT I HAD ALREADY BEEN STANDING IN#FIRE EMBLEM TREES FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS.
