I created this moodboard a long time ago based on an old headcanon that came to my mind, but I never posted. I still don’t know why haha. 😅 I gave it a purple theme because I simply love purple.

Headcanon: María’s mate had intended to marry her before his demise.

María discovered an unfamiliar ring interwoven within the underside of the serape that belonged to the love of her life. Placed onto her with a certain gentle admiration that only one who loved her deeply could have done. She’d spent the whole day wondering when she’d give it back to him. It was his after all… she’d woven it herself specifically for him to wear.

She no longer had to wonder.

She wouldn’t give it back to him now even if he physically came back to life and asked for it.

I will never be over how doomed Bella swan was the moment that Edward took a liking to her. Edward being able to project his own image of Bella onto her and actively seeking her out despite knowing and acknowledging the risk in favor of his own desires. His natural vampire charm that lures humans in, something they can't resist, got Bella hooked. His vampire nature puts her in so many life threatening situations that in the extremely short time they're together Bella has gone through so much as a 17/18 year old kid. Edward even acknowledges it multiple times throughout the series, that he's to blame for the horrors Bella is facing, Yet he does little to actually stay way. Everyone in his life urged him to keep away from Bella for her safety as well as the safety of the cullens, but he didn't. Repeatedly Edward states Bella shouldn't be friends with him, that she should stay away, but he is actively seeking her out. Edward constantly follows her, breaks into her room, watches Bella sleep, and approaches her because he is obsessed with Bella.

New moon we can see these effects Edward has had on Bella clearly, she's going through hell without him due to how dependent he has made Bella due to his own obsessive behavior. Her whole life at that point was revolving around him, every single day together, every single class was spent together, the two have become so dependent on each other, neither can function apart. Then we see Bella healing, hanging out with Jacob and becoming herself again with the company of someone who is willing to help her through grieve. There isn't this underlying supernatural force driving these two together or a fascination of some kind. There's care and friendship as the foundation of their relationship. Jacob helps her become herself again, helps her laugh and gives her a place where she can be herself. Joking about their metaphorical ages let her be the younger one. She has always been the one taking care of the people around her, maturing quickly in order to do so. She was healing. But with the wounds Edward left on her still bleed. Hallucinating visions of him, seeking him out much like he used to. Bella needed to see him in any way she could because she was addicted to Edward. He branded her that even through the path of healing, he stumped her growth, leading her to jump off the cliff and his return.

I whole heartedly believe that if Edward did not return, stayed away like he promised, Bella would've been happy. She would've worked through the hallucinations of him, would've had the support from her friends and father to work through these issues, even gone through college. But he didn't.

He reintroduced himself into her life and reversed all the progress she made, risked her life again because of his actions, involved her with the volturi and essentially sentenced her to death. He started isolating her from her friends, started "protecting" her from the only people who truly had good intentions for her well-being. This obviously soured Jacob as well, making the sweet boy Bella knew into an aggressive person trying everything in his power to make her love him. They turned her into a prize, into something both were fighting over without considering what was truly best for Bella. Who was truly best for her.

Fiora Cousland: 🤔 - What’s something they’ll never understand?

I think there's a lot Fiora doesn't understand. She grew up a very privileged, if not outright sheltered, noble, so being forced out into the world had a lot of wakeup calls for her.

That being said, even as she grows and learns to appreciate other people's hardships and motivations... she'll never understand why people still defend Loghain. The man committed awful (and frankly, in her mind, stupid) acts, no matter how he tried to justify them. That there are people who still think of him as a hero absolutely baffles her.

Of course, Fiora had it easy. Her path to heroism didn't have nearly as many "hard" choices. At least, that people know about.

Marian Hawke: 💝 - What gestures do they really appreciate? How do you get on their good side?

At her core, Marian just wants to be taken care of. She's spent her whole life worrying about others, so it stands to reason that she'd want to lay that burden down for just, like, an hour or two and let someone else attend to her for once.

So she loves gifts - any kind, big or small, expensive or not... Though clothes and jewelry are her favorite. She also likes having meals cooked for her. And massages.

Basically, just spoil her.

Hildegarde Trevelyan: 🤡 - What’s something dumb they’re embarrassed about?

Other than every waking moment of her life? Uhhh

Probably the most insignificant thing would be her hair? Before the Conclave, it was a chestnut brown, which she thought was plain but it helped her to not stand out.

After the explosion and she was sent through the Fade, the shock turned her hair a silvery-white, and now people can just look across a room and see her (as if the bright green glowing mark on her hand wasn't bad enough). Hildegarde is not a woman who is used to being seen.

People don't say anything about it - why would they, most of the Inquisition has only ever known her with the white hair - but that just makes it worse. She can almost hear her old fellows at the Ostwick Circle whispering behind her back; "she looks like an old maid!" or "good, we can say we lost her in the snow!".

(It gets better, later. It helps that Vivienne and Dorian call it unique, say it suits her. Bull says it's badass. Cole says it matches her "purity of soul", or something. Cullen calls her snowdrop because of it, and that helps the most.)

Astrology observations - Part 6 (use whole signs and sidereal)

🐻‍❄️ I said it before that moon in 6th house people can be great leaders, and since then I met 4 new people with moon in 6th and I've come to the conclusion that rather than being the leader, these people work better as the right hand person of a leader. They're much better at following the instructions rather than giving them.

🔵 If you are a girl, and you have mars aspecting Saturn and vice versa, I would HIGHLY recommend you guys to marry a non binary person. This placement can cause unpleasant situations to arise if you don't take the right measures. So I won't say, don't marry, or your married life will be bad, but rather, marry someone who is comfortable expressing both their feminine and masculine side.

🐻‍❄️ if your 7th lord of d1 is in the 3rd house of d9 and the planet is a natural malefic like, Saturn, mars or sun, then it can make you fight with your siblings after marriage. I know 3 people with this and now none of them talk to their siblings. So i would recommend you guys to not listen to your spouse when it comes to your siblings. If you have a good relationship with siblings then first, talk to them rather than believing someone who you just met.

🔵 In vedic, sun is considered to be dead when it's in the 12th house, and the common interpretation is that they cannot be good leaders but I view it a little differently. I know a lot of people with this who are SOO GOOD at leading people BUT they have zero self confidence and it genuinely pisses me off so much because one of my friend has this and I always push her to apply for HOD positions but she's like "no, I can't do it" like GIRL, ATLEAST TRY FIRST. So if you have this, just trust yourself and apply for that position. All I'll say is "A real loser is someone who is so afraid of not winning, they don't even try"

🐻‍❄️ I know quite a few people who say that mars in Aries/ scorpio is better when it's in the chart of a man but I don't agree with that. Maybe I'm being biased because I have it but I think that women handle this placement better. Men already have so much fucking audacity and with mars being so strong it just gets multiplied by 100. I feel like these are the men who make podcasts about how a woman's purpose is to be a submissive breedable bitch for a man. Whereas, some of the most successful businesswomen have their mars in Aries/Scorpio/ Capricorn (the effect is multiplied when it's in the 1,4,7, 10 house). women are literally taught to put everyone else's needs before theirs but with mars being so strong they don't give a fuck, because now they embody those traditional "masculine" traits like being a selfish asshole.

🔵 Honestly, the real men, the ones who embody all the good masculine traits are those who have Jupiter in 1,4,10 house. I can give 100 examples from my personal life but, all I'll say is that Keanu Reeves has this....they are the ones who are actually the protectors, providers, brave, strong and dominant in a gentle way. Also, I'm like 100% sure that Carlisle Cullen would have this if he was a real person.

🐻‍❄️ Also, 7th lord of d9 in 1st or 4th house of d9 gives you a future spouse who represents your "ideal type". As I've said many times before, I only know 2 happily married straight couples 🥲 and both of them have this, so in one couple, both the wife and the husband have it and in another, the wife has it. I also know a lesbian couple and both the wives have this. I didn't cross check it with celebrities since most of them put on a facade.

🔵 Jupiter in 6th house....these people have such good luck. It's like, they get everything so easily and the worst part is that they don't know how to work and yet they keep on getting promoted because of nepotism and corruption, and the person who says anything against them gets fired. I wish I was making this observation based on one person, but I know FIVE people with this and it's the same case with all of them.

🐻‍❄️ Mercury in 10th is a placement that I've been seeing quite a lot these days, literally every chart I see has this. These people can be GREAT therapists and journalists from what I've seen, or they may also be the "mom" friend in their group. They're also very social and love interacting with people, they may be the most beloved in their friend group like "if you don't go then we won't go either" type. I'm a little jealous of them tbh, love their ability to light up the room with their presence.

🔵 Venus in 8th, I feel like this is going to be a little negative 😭. These people are very much into the hook up culture, especially men. I feel like they would be happier in a polyamorous relationship. This is also the placement that I do not like seeing in d9, I don't fuck with people who have this but I know many people who are okay with such unconventional relationships, and if you're one of those, then good for you. You don't have to fit in boxes made by other people. If you like something, then you like that, period. (If you're not like this, good, don't start ranting in the comments, it's annoying)

Summary: Hearing the news about Edward saving Bella from a rogue van, you rushed to the hospital. While trying to find your husband and family, you seem to attract some unwanted attention.

When you had gotten a call from Alice telling you that Edward had saved Chief Swan’s daughter and Rosalie had followed the ambulance they were in to the hospital, you knew you had to go over to play mediator. Rosalie was very clear about her stance on Edward’s infatuation with Bella and the danger that infatuation could put all of you in; it was becoming a constant topic of argument between the two. Besides, it wouldn’t hurt to visit your husband.

The hospital parking lot was a bit crowded when you arrived, you felt lucky when you finally found a spot. It seemed that everyone was concerned about Bella’s well-being, even though you heard that she was very adamant about being okay.

You pushed through the small crowd to get inside and went to the receptionist’s desk.

“Hello, Mary!” You said with a polite smile. Being married to the best doctor in Forks, who worked long hours, had made you acquainted with almost everyone on the staff. “Do you know if Carlisle is busy right now?”

“He’s with a patient, but I’ll page him so he knows to come down when he’s done.” She responded with a sweet tone. You thanked her and sat in the small waiting room, grabbing a magazine off the table to flip through as you waited for your husband or one of your kids to come.

From the corner of your eye, you saw someone approaching you. Thinking it was one of your children or Carlisle, you glanced up. But it was just a stranger, so you stuck your nose back in the magazine.

“Hey.” The man said, sitting in the seat next to you. You subtly shifted away from him. “I don’t think I’ve seen you around before. Are you new to town?”

You were a bit surprised that he didn’t know you or recognized you, at the very least. Even though you usually stayed at home, you were well-known around the hospital and the high school. Besides, your family was a bit of a hot topic, being so pale and mysterious and keeping to yourselves. And this was a small town where everyone knew everyone.

“Nope.” You responded, trying to be polite while also conveying that you weren’t interested in talking much. “I’ve lived here for a few years.”

“Then why haven’t I seen you around?” He leaned forward, a curious smirk on his face. You did your best to hide your grimace.

“I guess we’ve never been in the same place at the same time.”

“Well, that’s a shame. Maybe we should do something to fix that.” You wanted to roll your eyes at his forwardness. To him, you were a complete stranger sitting in a hospital. For all he knew, you could be waiting to see a family member on their deathbed, and he wants to flirt. “Do you wanna maybe go get a drink?”

“I’m fine.” You replied with indifference.

“Aw, don’t be like that. I bet I could show you a good time.”

You laughed, shutting the magazine and dropping it onto the table. You could sense someone coming down the hall, and you knew exactly who it was. And you knew he was making his steps a little heavier than usual to make his presence known. 

“Believe me, I’m not interested.” By the time you were standing and looking down on the stranger, Carlisle had reached the waiting room, his gaze fixated on the two of you. You turned your head and smiled brightly. “Darling! There you are!”

You strode over to your husband and kissed him on the cheek, the faintest lip print being left on his pale cheek. You could feel the jealousy radiating off of him, but the slight snarl on his lips turned into a loving smile.

“Hello, dear.” His arm was wound firmly around your waist, the tips of his fingers skimming your hip. The hold felt possessive, like he needed to make it clear to this mystery man and anyone who passed by you that they had no chance. It was amusing to you that even after a few centuries of marriage, Carlisle still felt jealous when someone tried to win you over, even when you were blatantly uninterested. 

Speaking of the stranger, Carlisle gave him a glaring glance, and he knew it was time for him to leave. When he was out the door, Carlisle softened. 

“What are you doing down here?”

“Alice told me about the van.” You said, pursing your lips. “I had a bit of a feeling that Rosalie would come here to have a word or two with Edward about the whole thing.”

“You, my little angel, are very smart.” Carlisle smiled down at you before nodding towards the other side of the room, where two of your children were quietly hissing arguments to each other. “And they are right on time.”

You laughed a little before letting Carlisle walk you over to Rosalie and Edward to hear the full story, even though you had already gotten most of it from Alice. The entire time, Carlisle’s arm stayed around you, a constant reminder to everyone that you belonged to each other for eternity.

Being alive for just over 400 years tends to give one a good perspective on life and the bigger picture, and Carlisle sure has a pretty good idea of how all things pan out. So you're not interested in him? That's fine, Carlisle can wait for as long as you need to change your mind.

In the meantime, Carlisle will continue to maintain your friendship and continue to show just how hard he's worked to become the kind caring father figure he is. He knows you'll fall for him, eventually.

Esme Cullen

Obviously, she's not going to stop caring about you just because you don't return her feelings. But she might switch up how she shows her affection.

Rather than flirty winks and suspiciously candle-lit wine tastings, she'll back up to more traditionally motherly affections. Making sure you're eating right, baking cookies, etc. And of course, giving you homemade soup when you're sick is still one of her favourite things to do, no need to stop now.

Edward Cullen

Of course, you're not interested, how could anyone love a monster like him? Who did he think he was, thinking he was worthy of your love? Or so his inner monologue goes.

But it's really not that dramatic, it almost never is, Edward just sprung his crush on you suddenly and it caught you off guard. It was largely the excessively long preamble about how he was an irredeemable murderer that put you off first, but of course, he won't realise that until considerably later.

Rosalie Hale

She's a little relieved actually. All her mortal and immortal life, Rosalie has been aggressively pursued by people she wasn't particularly interested in, so the fact that she can crush on someone who isn't really that interested is a wonderful change of pace.

For the first time ever, Rosalie has butterflies in her stomach, she fumbles with her words when she speaks to you, and she feels like a silly, mortal teenage girl again, begging her mother to let her go to the dance just so she can sneak away to catch a glimpse of someone just like you.

Emmett Cullen

You and Emmett had been good friends for a while so when he casually drops a blissful "We should get married" into the conversation, you initially choke on your drink in laughter.

Emmett's a little heartbroken that you'd laugh at something like that, considering that he was being 100% serious. But since you've known him, the both of you have been constantly cracking up jokes, trying to get on each other's nerves, so no wonder you thought this was another one of his pranks. He decides to take this reaction as a blessing, you have no idea he's actually into you, now he knows he has to work out a different way to confess his feelings for you.

Alice Cullen

She's a little confused obviously, having multiple visions of the two of you in a romantic relationship kind of gave her the impression that it might've been going to come true, but your disinterest says something else altogether.

But the worst part is that those damn visions of you and her together keep coming back, taunting her, luring her in deeper to despair with the thoughts of what might be. It's all getting so intense, so she decides to skip town for a bit, see if that changes anything, or at least helps her clear her head.

Jasper Hale

Oh well, so you're not interested in a romantic relationship, so what? Doesn't mean you can't still be friends. Doesn't mean he can't be the charming Southern gentleman he is. Doesn't mean he can't still pull out chairs or open doors for you. Or send anonymous bouquets to your house. Or leave your favourite snacks in your locker when you're having a rough day. Of course not.

Veiltober - day 2, Rift

Here is day 2 of my Veiltober challenge! This is also gonna be the inky I will be using in The Veilguard (the first playthrough, in any case xD). Still has her vallaslin as she is not a Solasmancer, and has updated hair now that it can finally flow free!

Her name is Bellet'eyn. I found that name in the Witcher, actually. One of its meanings is "blossoming" and I really liked that for her! She also romanced Cullen and they got married, ok!! I love that for her.

Caius Volturi x human!reader

Summary: The reader is sitting with Caius when Valentina interrupts.

Author's note: This is so short but it just came to me when I remembered that scene lmao.

A knock on the door interrupted their thoughts.

Aro stood, greeting whomever had dared to enter without announcement.

"Ah, Valentina has brought us something!"

Caius grimaced. His hand came up to rest on the leg of the pretty little human mate of his that currently resided in his lap. "She should not have interrupted."

Aro turned with a gracious look, "She's new."

Marcus' head turned, "Aren't they all?"

Caius smiled wickedly, pulling the girl in his arms closer.

Valentina simply stood at the base of the stairs, nervous and unsure of what to do.

Aro looked rather annoyed at this, motioning for her to step forward to meet him.

As she does, she presents a silver platter with an envelope on it.

Aro opens it, gazing at the handwriting within. "Ah!  L'amore ci mantiene giovani (Love keeps us young). Edward and Bella are to be married."

The girl in Caius' lap turns slightly to see his reaction. He watched his eyebrows furrow carefully in thought, anger beginning to take over his features.

Marcus simply turned his head, his expression anything but an emotion, "What. Joy."

Caius finally spoke up, "This is the Cullen's way of announcing her transformation. They mock us with their delays…"

Aro looked over his shoulder, his attention now away from Valentina, "Patience, brother." Aro then set the envelope back on the platter. "Though, you do have a point," he gently caressed Valentina's face as his voice lost its kindness, "the human did interrupt."

Caius pulled his pretty mate to her feet, pulling her with him as the three Volturi kings began to exit. 

Felix and Demetri appeared on either side of the secretary as Aro walked on, "I do love weddings."

Caius' mate turned to look over her shoulder to see what would become of the girl, but Caius gently caught her jaw, keeping her from looking back. "…C…Caius?" She asked hesitantly.

"Shh. Come, Bella Amora," he leaned to whisper in her ear, "Let the human learn her mistake."

Caius pulled his mate from the throne room, the sound of Valentina's screams being heard throughout the entire castle.
