You were an accident in every possible way.
Born an astounding eight years after Travis, nearly eleven after Jason, you weren’t exactly planned. By the time you came along, your parents had been convinced they were done, their hands already full with two loud, competitive boys who spent more time wrestling in the backyard than sitting still. And then—there was you.
A baby sister in every sense of the word.
Your brothers treated you like some kind of rare, delicate thing at first, unsure what to do with you other than stare into your crib and poke at your tiny hands. But that didn’t last long. Before you could even walk, Jason was letting you sit on his lap while he played video games, and Travis had appointed himself your unofficial bodyguard, glaring at anyone who so much as breathed in your direction.
You grew up surrounded by chaos—loud dinners, backyard football games that almost always ended in someone getting tackled too hard, and a house full of laughter. Your parents tried their best to raise you with the same principles that had shaped your brothers, but you were different from the start.
Where Jason was responsible and steady, you were restless. Where Travis was loud and the life of the party, you were observant.
It wasn’t that you were quiet—no one raised in a Kelce household could be described as quiet—but you learned early on how to move through the world a little differently. Being the youngest meant you had to be quick-witted, fast on your feet, and always ready to hold your own. If you didn’t, you’d get run over.
By the time you hit high school, you had learned how to use your last name to your advantage. It got you free drinks at parties, easier conversations with teachers, and a built-in reputation before you ever had to prove yourself. But it also came with expectations—the kind that lingered over you like a shadow.
People expected you to be just like your brothers.
Maybe a little wild, maybe a little reckless. Definitely athletic. Definitely loud.
And you were some of those things.
You were an athlete, sure—your dad would’ve had an aneurysm if you weren’t—but not in the way people wanted. You had a sharp competitive streak, but you never cared about being the best. You played because it was fun, because it was expected, because you liked the feeling of winning, but you never had dreams of making it big. Not like Jason. Not like Travis.
And as for being reckless? You were a Kelce, so it was in your blood. But you were also smart. Calculated. Where Travis would throw himself into anything just to see what would happen, you thought three steps ahead. You weren’t scared of getting into trouble, but you were good at avoiding it.
That was the thing about growing up the way you did—watching your brothers carve their paths before you. You learned how to navigate things differently. You let them be the loudest people in the room while you played the long game, slipping through cracks unnoticed until you wanted to be noticed.
You didn’t date much in high school—not seriously, anyway. Not because people didn’t try (being a Kelce came with its perks), but because most boys were too intimidated by the idea of dating Jason and Travis Kelce’s little sister. You never really minded. Most of the guys at your school weren’t worth your time, anyway.
But you did notice the way people looked at you.
The way guys wanted to say they had a shot with you, even if they never tried. The way girls sometimes whispered about you, speculating if you were actually as down-to-earth as you pretended to be. The way teachers expected you to either be a slacker or a prodigy, like there was no in-between.
You weren’t sure when exactly you started feeling like an enigma—like people had decided who you were before you even had a chance to figure it out for yourself.
Maybe it was when your friends started bringing you to parties just because your last name got you through the door. Maybe it was when people started assuming you were only where you were because of your family. Maybe it was when you realized that, no matter what you did, you’d always be compared to the brothers who came before you.
By the time you graduated, you had perfected the art of keeping people at a distance. You knew how to smile just enough to be approachable, how to joke just enough to make people like you. But you also knew how to keep things yours.
And so you did.
You left home with the intention of making a name for yourself—outside of football, outside of the Kelce legacy. You weren’t running away from it, exactly. You just needed something that was yours alone.
And for the most part, you succeeded.
You built a life that had nothing to do with your last name. You found your own friends, your own career, your own world. You managed to exist outside of the NFL bubble, despite how often it tried to pull you back in. And for years, that was enough.
You were nineteen when you met Jayson Tatum.
Nineteen and reckless in the way only someone on the verge of something monumental can be—when success feels inevitable, and the world hasn’t yet taught you how cruel it can be. You had grown up in the shadows of your last name, in the periphery of stadium lights, in the echoes of your brothers’ roaring crowds. But Jayson was the first person who made you feel like the center of something.
You weren’t naïve. You knew what it meant to love someone like him—someone whose name was already in the rafters, whose presence carried weight before he even walked into a room. He was smooth, confident, charming in that way that made you want to believe him. And maybe that was the problem: you did.
It started fast, the way these things always do. Courtside seats, late-night flights, whispered phone calls from different time zones. He made you feel special, called you his “genius,” said he had never met someone like you before. But love with him always came with conditions. He loved you, but he wanted you to fit into his world, to mold yourself into the spaces left between his career, his schedule, his life. And you tried. God, you tried. You sat in the stands, smiled for the cameras, learned the rhythms of his world even when he never bothered to learn yours.
And it was never enough.
It was always push and pull, a constant cycle of breaking and rebuilding. He would tell you he couldn’t do it anymore, that you were too much, that he needed someone who understood his life. And then weeks later, he’d be back, whispering apologies, promising he had figured it out this time. And you—stupid, hopeful, nineteen, then twenty, then twenty-one—kept believing him.
Until December 2022. The last time. The worst time.
You had always been careful, always known how to exist just outside the spotlight, but this time, the breakup wasn’t just yours. It was public. Messy. Everywhere. Headlines dissecting your relationship, tabloids picking apart your heartbreak like it was something they were entitled to. Your face plastered across the internet, grainy photos of you leaving restaurants, ducking into cars, standing alone in a crowd. Strangers speculating about you, about him, about what went wrong, about whether you were as heartbroken as they hoped you’d be.
And the worst part? You were. You just didn’t want them to know it.
You had never cared about fame—not like that, not in the way the world suddenly seemed to demand from you. You weren’t built for it, for the attention, for the scrutiny, for the way people suddenly decided you were interesting now that you were broken.
It was the lowest you had ever been.
After that, you buried yourself in work, in building something no one could take from you. You stopped trusting the cameras, stopped giving interviews, stopped letting people in. And love? Love became something you didn’t have time for. Something you couldn’t afford.
Not until Joe. But that was another story.
⟱ JULY 2023
The Kelces did the Fourth of July the same way they did everything else—loud, chaotic, and with enough food to feed an army.
The backyard was still a mess from the day’s events. Empty plates stacked on tables, beer bottles scattered across the deck, remnants of water balloons forgotten in the grass. The kids had long since crashed, curled up in the living room after a full day of running around, and your parents had finally turned in for the night. That left just the three of you—Jason, Travis, and you—lingering in the kitchen, picking at the last of the food and settling in for what was, by tradition, gossip hour.
Jason was leaning against the counter, arms crossed, looking half-exhausted, half-amused as he nursed what was probably his final beer of the night. Kylie had gone upstairs an hour ago, throwing a “don’t let him stay up too late” over her shoulder before disappearing. Travis was still riding the high of a long day—barefoot, tanned from the sun, and grinning like he knew something you didn’t.
You, for your part, were perched on the counter, sipping a Coke because you had a feeling one of you needed to remain at least somewhat coherent.
“So, uh,” Travis started, reaching for the last deviled egg on the platter. “Speaking of cool people, guess who I started talking to?”
Jason shot him a tired look. “Oh, here we go.”
You glanced between them. “What do you mean, talking to?”
Travis grinned. “Taylor Swift.”
You blinked. “What?”
Jason groaned, running a hand over his face. “Jesus Christ, Trav.”
“What?” Travis said, clearly enjoying himself. “It’s not a big deal.”
You snorted. “You just casually dropped Taylor Swift into the conversation like it’s the weather. That’s not normal.”
Jason pointed at you. “Exactly. Thank you.”
Travis rolled his eyes, shoving the deviled egg into his mouth. “It’s not like that. We’ve just been texting. I shot my shot, and what do you know? The Kelce charm works.”
Jason looked unimpressed. “Define ‘texting.’”
Travis chewed thoughtfully. “Like
 texting.”
You narrowed your eyes. “Travis.”
He smirked. “Okay, fine. I invited her to a game. She didn’t come, but she thought it was funny. We started talking. She’s cool as hell.”
You stared at him, processing. “Hold on. You shot your shot with Taylor Swift—arguably the biggest pop star in the world—by inviting her to a football game?”
Travis shrugged. “I mean, yeah.”
Jason huffed out a laugh, shaking his head. “I hate that it worked.”
You leaned forward, intrigued now. “Wait, so what do you guys talk about?”
Travis grinned. “Oh, you know. Life. Music. Football. Friendship bracelets.”
Jason made a strangled noise. “I swear to God—”
“I’m serious!” Travis held up his hands. “She thought it was funny! That’s what started it, actually.”
You narrowed your eyes, skeptical. “And how often are you guys texting?”
Travis took a sip of his beer, clearly stalling.
“Travis.”
He sighed dramatically. “Every day. Okay? Happy?”
Jason looked at you, then back at him. “Holy shit. You like her.”
Travis scoffed. “Of course I like her, she’s Taylor fuckin’ Swift.”
“No,” you cut in, pointing at him. “Not just, like, ‘fan’ like her. You actually like her.”
Travis hesitated. And that was all you needed to see.
Jason whistled low, shaking his head. “This is gonna be a disaster.”
You grinned, tilting your head. “Or
it’s gonna be the greatest thing to ever happen to you.”
Travis gave you a look, something half-serious beneath all the usual bravado. “You think?”
You shrugged. “I think you have a long road ahead of you if you actually wanna date Taylor Swift. But if anyone’s got the balls to do it, it’s you.”
Travis sat back, considering that. Then he smirked. “Yeah. You’re right.”
Jason groaned. “Oh God.”
You hopped off the counter, stealing the beer out of Travis’s hand and taking a sip. “I can’t wait for Mom to find out.”
Travis laughed, shaking his head. “You’re evil.”
“You love it.”
And just like that, the topic shifted—because that was the thing about being a Kelce. No matter how big the news, how crazy the story, at the end of the day, you were just family. Talking shit in the kitchen, making fun of each other, and watching history unfold in real time.
The whole thing kind of unraveled in front of you.
One minute, Travis was dropping Taylor Swift’s name into a conversation like it was nothing, and the next, she was there. Not in a surreal, once-in-a-lifetime, see-her-from-a-distance kind of way—but in the real way. The kind where she was suddenly just
around. Sitting across from you at dinner, feet tucked under her on the couch, sipping a drink at the same backyard parties you had been going to your whole life.
It wasn’t weird, not exactly. It was just happening.
You had been close to fame before, obviously. Jason and Travis had built their careers in the public eye, and you had spent your whole life in and around that world, brushing shoulders with athletes and celebrities who treated your last name like a golden ticket. You knew how to navigate it, how to smile politely and act like it didn’t phase you.
But this was different.
Because this wasn’t just fame. This was Taylor Swift—and she wasn’t just a headline or a name on a stadium marquee. She was here, in your world, existing in it like she belonged. And the strangest part? She kind of did.
You liked her. She was easy to like. Funny, quick-witted, smarter than people probably even realized. She had this way of making everyone feel like they were the only person in the room when she talked to them. Even you, at times, when she wasn’t entirely preoccupied with Travis.
And, well. That was the thing, wasn’t it?
Because she was preoccupied with Travis.
That was the whole point.
She wasn’t your friend. She wasn’t coming around to hang out with you. She was here for him. And that was fine. It was great, actually. You had never seen your brother like this before—completely, stupidly, out-of-his-mind happy. He glowed around her, and you were happy for him.
But somewhere along the way, you started to notice it.
The third wheel feeling.
It wasn’t obvious at first. Not in the beginning, when everything was still so new and exciting and unbelievable.
But then came the dinners where you felt like a spectator to their conversations. The trips where you ended up walking three steps behind them. The inside jokes you weren’t a part of, the glances they shared across rooms like they were in on some secret that you weren’t.
And sure, Travis had always been larger than life. His presence had always been something you had to navigate around. But now? Now, there was them. And you? You were just
 there.
It got to the point where even your nieces—who were still young enough to have no filter—started noticing. You’d barely sat down at one of your parents’ Sunday dinners when Wyatt, with all the innocence of a child, looked up at you and asked, “Where’s your boyfriend?”
You had laughed, mostly out of shock, but the sting was still there. And then it happened again. And again.
And that was how Elliot became your best friend.
At just over a year old, she was the only one who didn’t ask why you were always alone, or where your mystery boyfriend was, or when you were going to bring someone home like Travis had. Instead, she was just happy to exist beside you, happy to let you carry her around like a little security blanket when you needed an excuse to step away from them.
You spent more time with her than you did with the adults most nights, letting her babble nonsense at you while you tuned out the rest of the room.
--
Joe Burrow wasn’t born into greatness.
He was born into a world where nothing was guaranteed, where talent didn’t always mean success, where hard work didn’t always lead to the dream. He grew up watching his father grind his way through the football world, moving from coaching job to coaching job, never staying anywhere long enough to feel settled. He understood from a young age that football wasn’t just a game—it was survival. It was everything.
But for most of his life, Joe wasn’t the guy. He wasn’t the five-star recruit, the kid whose name carried weight before he even stepped on the field. He was good—great, even—but great didn’t always mean enough. Ohio State was supposed to be his shot, his moment, the place where he proved himself. Instead, it was where he sat on the bench, waiting for a chance that never came, watching other guys take the field while he tried to convince himself it wasn’t slipping away from him.
There were nights he thought about giving it up. That maybe it just wasn’t meant to be. That maybe football had already given him all it was going to. But he wasn’t built to quit, and when LSU came calling, he took the leap.
That was the moment everything changed.
LSU wasn’t just an opportunity—it was a resurrection. It was the first time he felt like the guy, like he wasn’t just taking up space on a roster but actually belonged there. The game slowed down, the doubt faded, and for the first time in his life, he thought: Maybe I can actually do this. Maybe I can be great.
Then came 2019. The season. The Heisman. The national championship. The moment his life shifted from maybe to inevitable. He went from overlooked to undeniable, from backup to first overall pick, from fighting for a shot to standing at the top of the football world.
And somewhere in all of that, there was Olivia.
She had been there from Ohio State, through the struggles, through the late nights spent questioning everything. She was safe, steady, someone who knew him before everything changed. And for a while, that was enough. They built a life together in the in-between spaces of his career—through the transfer, through LSU, through the draft, through the move to Cincinnati.
But something had shifted along the way. Maybe it was the fame, the pressure, the way football consumed everything in its path. Maybe it was the fact that he had spent so long chasing this dream that he didn’t know how to slow down, didn’t know how to be the kind of man who could put something else—someone else—first.
Or maybe they had just grown into different people.
The love had been real. That was never a question. But real didn’t always mean forever, and when the cracks started to show, neither of them could ignore them. The long distance, the late nights, the feeling of being together but not really together. Football had always been his first love, and Olivia had always understood that. But understanding didn’t make it easier.
By the time the breakup happened, it felt inevitable. A quiet ending, no messy headlines, no dramatic fallout. Just two people who had spent years trying to make something work, finally realizing it wasn’t meant to.
Joe had never been one for public spectacle, had never been the guy who wanted his love life picked apart. But that didn’t stop people from talking. From wondering when he’d date again, who he’d be seen with, what kind of woman would fit into the world he had built.
But he wasn’t looking. Football was still everything, still the thing that took up all the space in his life.
At least, until you.

Hello again, here for a few random questions about the Roleswap AU (Cool you liked my drawing by the way, might post more at some point in the future if that's alright ^_^)
So, just asking because I'm curious about it ofc and from what I read on the Roleswap posts, you may have not discussed it sooooo...
So, we know from the posts, Swap!Jimmy crashed the ship like in canon while Swansea was off his shift and does his thing, and from the first post of the Role Swap AU showed Curly asking Anya if she crashed the ship, did anyone consider or try to blame Swansea for crashing the PE ship? Because he was there last (before Anya got cooked) that I assume everyone could account, so besides Anya, HE'D definitely be a 'main suspect'
(I have a idea/headcanon that Jimmy tried to point fingers at both Anya and Swansea (mainly Anya though because ofc he does, the prick) and tried to convince Curly and Daisuke that it was those two, with Curly not hearing most stuff he'd say about either of them and assume it was a system failure or malfunction though it does linger in the back of his mind which leads to him asking Anya if she was the one who did it (and for Daisuke, his opinion I'm not sure about so I'm leaving it blank) obviously this is just my ideas though and I'm asking you about it so I'll hush about this now lol
2. This one's about Anya and Curly and them on the idea of them returning and recovering back on Earth, I know right now in our world (along with Role Swap's, most likely) don't have a way to fully recover a person's vision after loss. However, I'm curious on both Anya and Curly's perspective on, if in their world's future, a proper method to recover a person's vision was discovered, one they had enough money and accessiblity for them to do so, do you think Anya and Curly would discuss or consider trying to have an operation to recover Anya's sight? Just a random thought that came to me at some point.
Alright, I'm done and need to be off now. I hope you have a good day, afternoon or evening!
the crash happened during Anya's shift, and Jimmy made sure to point allllll the fingers at her as the one who allegedly got to the cockpit right as she was steering the ship into the asteroid. Swansea knows her enough to know she wouldn't crash the ship maliciously, but he also knows her enough to know she's a klutz, so he's silently on the fence and observing and biding his time until he knows more. as for Daisuke, this is his first trip on the Tulpar as the mechanic and before that he's only done one haul on the Tulpar as an intern (in this au he goes on his intern trip a few years earlier than in canon, falls in love with engineering, and spends the interim years in trade school), so he doesn't know anyone but Swansea that well and follows his lead. this leaves Curly, who has reasons (however flawed) to trust Jimmy, but also cannot believe that Anya would do something like this.
i think they would investigate the idea at the very least if it ever became available, but they would probably find that it's too risky for Anya to undergo any major surgeries after everything her body has been through :"3

Okay but hear me out
a play date for all the LADS kiddos? I wanna see Sylus’ little birdie play with Zayne’s lil snowdrop or Xavier’s lil starlight đŸ„ș Maybe she can be besties with Raf’s lil coral too? đŸ„șđŸ‘‰đŸŒđŸ‘ˆđŸŒ
I always imagined these guys have their own MCs who are friends with each other so it would be cute if we get to see the kids play together đŸ„ș
(I have a huge soft spot for Lil birdie so i want to see her more hopefully in the future đŸ„čđŸ«¶đŸŒ)
SQUEALING. omg I'm so glad you mentioned how they have their own MC, because sometimes I do want the kiddos to play together, but then I'm like wait a minute....unless...?
and psst....Caleb's boy....little pilot đŸ„č
Xav's daughter is the youngest at 2, so Lil Birdie takes her big sis role very seriously (even though she's only one year older lol) and because she's actually a lonely little rich girl sometimes because of her parents' jobs :(
Little Snowdrop would be the eldest and he would also be hyper conscious about taking care of everyone. he may or may not be carrying around a tin can with cute band-aids for his friends
Snowdrop also requires payment in the form of sweets it's tough making a living in this economy his mom limits his sweets intake and Zayne gets scolded if he sneaks around her rule 💀
omg I haven't decided how I want Raf's kid's personality to be yet. I was leaning on the super sweet side, but now I'm wondering if I should make him sassy like his dad as well lol. That's kind of why I haven't been able to get the first story out yet because I'm such a coward about writing Raf and lowkey Xav too.... 😔
Little Starlight is spoiled sweet by everyone especially her father.... she's definitely a little more girlie than Birdie is, but she's also a feisty little miss who uses her cuteness to her advantage
Little Pilot is also younger at 2, so maybe that's why he's a little more reckless lol. He is fearless and adventurous and loves getting into dangerous situations. I am in the process of writing his first story rn and all I am saying is carbon copy of Caleb. like 100%. His eyes as well. 100% CALEB. MC's genes didn't even try lol.

I'm just going to throw this out here. Vox only seems as weak as he does because of his role in season one. All the Vees had a scene where they lost control and were just honestly pathetic, and a scene where they were cool and collected, but because of how it's set up, it looks like people completely overlook Velvette being pathetic and focus on Vox's patheticness. Which is fun to play around with, but I feel like a lot of people just don't acknowledge he's, in theory, a fairly decent threat, especially against the Hazbin Hotel. There's definitely going to be a reason he's one of the main antagonists.
It's sort of long, so cut here lol.
For starters, to back up my claim of they were all pathetic at some point, when we first meet Velvette, she's throwing a hissy fit about Val. He's literally right there, and yet she can't be assed to do anything about it and instead calls Vox to solve her problems for her, and then complains about Val ripping apart her models, despite her not doing anything. People love to riff on Val and Vox for being man children, which, yes, they are at times, but they completely disregard the fact that when we first meet Velvette, she's acting like a spoiled brat. Valentino is the same, throwing a fit about Angel Dust. They're all equally pathetic.
The thing is, Velvette and Valentino were glossed over fairly quick. Vox had a whole song about it.
The same thing about them all being equally cunning and collected, which I actually doubt myself. I think Vox is the most collected of them all, not Velvette. Yes, he did the same, basically had a temper tantrum when he found out Alastor came back, but it makes logical sense when we look at their interaction later and Vox is scared of him. He's worried. But once he calms down, he sits down and comes up with a plan that's actually very logical and well-thought out. Er, to some extent. Picking Pentious probably wasn't the greatest, but I think, based on the drones we see everywhere later on and his reaction to Pentious getting caught, Vox wasn't taking Valentino's idea of putting a spy in the hotel seriously. He's nonchalant, and has a backup plan. And the way he handled the paparazzi is a sign that he IS able to deal in high-stress situations with ease.
And no, that's not saying Valentino and Velvette don't have their moments. In Masquerade, Val's smart about how he approaches Charlie being there, and Velvette's extremely clever in Scrambled Eggs (Er, possibly. I doubt she and the other Vees didn't talk about it before hand and theorize then, and their goal was NOT to start a way but to gain info, but her noticing Carmilla's reaction was definitely a point for her.). But they're not more clever than Vox, they just get more screen time as actual villains, probably because of their roles in this season. Velvette's there explicitly to set up for the reveal Carmilla killed an angel, and Valentino's meant to be the main enemy of Angel Dust throughout the series to build his character. Vox? Well, right now we just need to know he exists and doesn't like Alastor, for future plot lines. And also comedic relief in episode 8, because, come on, almost everything he says in that episode is just funny. (And also emphasizing how much he hates Alastor/is obsessed with Alastor losing) And yeah, the pacing about introducing him could have been better, building him up to be a threat and then having Alastor take him down, but for 8 episodes, they did a fair job. And a part of me wonders if we're meant to overestimate Alastor and underestimate Vox, especially after the Adam fight.
And why I say he has the potential to be a big threat to the Hotel has to do with the scene we have when he's getting introduced, and what we see in Helluva Boss about Voxflix being on BlitzĂž's phone. He's everywhere, he has power over his viewers, and his grip on media is so tight, even Hellborns use his services. What's the Hotel's main issue at the moment? A lack of guests, which is at least in part caused by poor advertising. Anybody else think it's not coincidence the 'emergency broadcast' happened just as the Hotel's advertisement began to play?
Tl;dr, Vox is more powerful than people seem to believe, even if he's pathetic as all hell a lot during his limited screen time, probably mostly because he has no big role in the current season.

What type of girl do you think the gang thinks they'll marry and what is the actual perfect type of girl for them?
OOoh this is a fun one :DD
Darry
Starting w/ my fav. Darry thinks he'll never marry; he has a hard time thinking abt his future? He's a very "In the moment" person. I think he's had to be for so long he doesn't allow himself to really. dream for himself :(
I like to think he does eventually settle down w/ someone someday, maybe someone who's more quiet and thoughtful the way he is, but also someone he can count on the same way everyone else counts on him? I think they end up having a few kids together and having a happy, quiet life together <3
Sodapop
Sodapop wants to be w/ either a model or a movie star 😭 (he's definitely handsome enough to be with one tho.) More realistically he wants someone he can have fun with, someone who's just. down w anything like he is.
I think he eventually settles down w/ someone who's a little more structured. The perfect girl for him appreciates his energy and his wildness but also offers him balance? Maybe tells him what to do a little lol
Ponyboy
Dude's young 😭 Ponyboy's either HEAVILY against getting married ever (girls are YUCKY) or. ONLY if it's to Cherry Valance a special girl.
I think he ends up with an intellectual type like himself. Definitely someone smarter than him, someone he learns new things from every day. Someone who notices all the little things yk? And who thinks about things differently. Someone he could talk to for hours 👀
Johnny
Johnny's scared of marriage 💀 (look at his parents bro)
I think. if he survived. He would end up with someone a little more extroverted. He's always been a listener so. if she talked all the time to him? He would love that :D Maybe the girl he meets has a big family who loves him a lot too. But the most important thing? She would have to be a good listener. He doesn't talk a lot, but when he does it's important.
Dally
If you asked him if he wanted to get married he'd say smth gross like he wants 3 wives or smth 💀
The perfect girl for Dally is someone who wants him to do better for himself. Maybe someone who's also not afraid to step up to him and tell him what's what 😭 But he admires her and knows she's always there for him, even when he's vulnerable. Especially when he's vulnerable.
Two-bit
He wants a model or a movie star like Soda 😭 but in all seriousness. He wants someone he can joke around w/ and someone who can give him a shit ton of kids. It's kind of a secret fantasy of his to have a big family and lots of sons and daughters <3
I think Two-bit gets his dream 😭 he knows himself pretty well so it checks out.
Steve
Whoever's in Playboy that issue 💀 Or literally anyone with. dark blond hair. Steve likes blondes.
As for the person Steve ends up with... Sodapop Someone who's always up for a good time. I don't really see Steve having kids. Maybe he's the weird uncle who's shirtless on 4th of July 😭 All jokes aside. He needs someone who's the perfect blend of serious and silly. Someone who CAN handle the Randle, in his best and in his worst.

hsfjdlshfks some disagreements with your disagreements (friendly) (philosopher discussion at the Greek forum style)
While the Hairo x Nendo bit was clearly labeled noncanon silliness, there WAS an entire chapter dedicated to "does Hairo is gay" that turned up ZERO evidence to the contrary. Also his primary gag is having his bare ass out. Hairo being gay is pretty heavily implied (in a bit of a homophobic way lbr) if not outright canon imo.
Yeah Saiki definitely does not want to deal with the idea of his dad being attracted to Teruhashi. And we all know he's king of denial and repression lol.
Not sure what you mean about Saiki's hypnosis, unless you're referring to that particular bit of canon-contradictory fanon that Saiki is using hypnosis to somehow change people's perceptions of him despite a) hypnosis being basically a simple illusion, and b) him not being able to use hypnosis on himself at all.
It's not totally clear what level of devotion Teruhashi inspires but it seems to be, at minimum, parasocial relationship with a celebrity strength but instantly. Kuboyasu literally thought about tattooing her name on his arm despite showing very little interest in women in general.
I didn't say that Saiki instantly falls in love with Teruhashi upon losing his powers but that he becomes susceptible to her beauty. As much as he whines about his X-ray vision, he can still see perfectly fine for about 3 seconds, blink, and then see perfectly fine for another 3 seconds, and so on. He's had like 6 years to scrutinize Teruhashi but doesn't because he's just not very attracted to women, by his own admission. However, when he loses his powers, now he's staring at her for so long that she almost dies lmfao. The timing is suspicious! And remember that Teruhashi's effect seems to diminish the more a person hangs out with her personally — Saiki is THAT affected by her beauty while powerless even after being in her vicinity for 6 years and knowing her better than anyone else. It's not explicitly *canon* that powerless Saiki is weak to Teruhashi's beauty but it's not NOT canon.
I don't know that Teruhashi actually does a lot of good in the world. Sure, guys cheer up when they see her, but does that change their attitude towards the other people in their lives? It certainly isn't as peace-keeping a power as Teruhashi believes it is, if it drove those 2 guys to try killing Saiki. But Teruhashi only sees dudes smiling at her and not the cult meetings where they purge people they perceive as being too close to her, so her narration is very much unreliable when it comes to the effects of her powers.
Also a story prompt that occurred to me while originally writing this post: Saiki losing his vision during some act of heroism and terusai where Teruhashi has to completely change her perception of self-worth based on beauty since now it truly means nothing to Saiki, plus her learning to understand other people's needs as she tries to help Saiki with his newest disability.
I mean, this still doesn't eliminate the potential dubcon of her power over God/luck, but it comes pretty close and allows for a lot of character growth on her side lol.
I'm not a fan of soulmates in romantic fiction because it's basically arranged marriage with extra supernatural noncon/dubcon elements.
However, in the Saiki universe, the soulmate connection seems to lack pretty much all of those problematic elements.
We have to do a little extrapolating from what we see in canon since this aspect of Aiura's powers is not covered in detail, but:
Soulmates do not seem to be guaranteed to ever meet, considering the fact that Aiura specifically looked up her soulmate and that one guy who was linked to someone in a remote African village that would almost certainly never cross paths with him.
Being with your soulmate is completely optional, otherwise Aiura wouldn't bother providing relationship scoring and just tell each person to go find their soulmate. This allows for a lot of narrative opportunities to explore why someone would consciously choose to not be with their soulmate, and also opens up the door for polyamory.
Soulmates do not instantly fall in love, and are not forced to stay in love by any supernatural powers. Aiura didn't think anything of Saiki until he flawlessly saved Yumehara's life like 10x in a row, and Saiki certainly didn't fall for Aiura right away either. They fought over their values strongly enough that it would've been a breakup if they'd ever been together.
Soulmate status just seems to indicate particularly good chemistry, and like the rest of Aiura's powers, is purely informational and not determinative. Presumably soulmates have the highest possible compatibility scores, and it's kinda cool that it seems guaranteed there's at least 1 person out there who will jive with you, but also plenty of other people you can connect with to various degrees.
With Saiki and Aiura specifically, it's shown that Saiki can change the future Aiura sees as soon as he hears about it. It may even be possible for him to change the soulmate determination, and he certainly could've used Time Leap to fool Aiura into thinking someone else was her soulmate if he was really opposed to the concept. She had scryed it recently, so the butterfly effect shouldn't be a challenge.
But they do work so smoothly together with their powers complementing each other, and Saiki is kind of a lonely romantic tsundere at heart, so it makes sense that he would let the soulmate thing play out and yet test the connection by pushing Aiura away as much as possible.
Actually, considering that Saiki can't control people's actions directly (and that he sucks at trying to control people indirectly), the strongest noncon/dubcon force in the Saikiverse shockingly appears to be Teruhashi's beauty.
The only male character that doesn't seem at all affected by Teruhashi's powers is Hairo, most likely because of his heavily implied homosexuality. Women attracted to other women are also impacted by her power, as seen with Aiura.
While Saiki says that married people aren't affected by Teruhashi, Kuniharu does actually show several signs of being affected by Teruhashi, and so does Kumagoro.
All affected people instantly fall in love with her on sight, no exceptions.
Critical thinking ability appears to drop precipitously when it comes to her, with her fans accepting that she had a secret child with Saiki despite being in school with her every day and that she can just choose not to poop for a week. More effective mind control than anything Saiki can do tbh.
The instant Saiki loses some of his powers, he starts being affected by Teruhashi's beauty.
The narrative supports Saiki's theory that Teruhashi is literally favored by God and can affect reality just by hoping for something. The implication that God is (physically??) attracted to Teruhashi and does whatever she wants is.... yikes on several levels. If she asks for someone to love her, do they get a choice in the matter??
Anyways, there are way more elements of noncon/dubcon with Teruhashi ships than there are with actual canon soulmate mechanics in the Saikiverse and that's just such a wild choice by the author lol.
Truly subverting tropes!

btw when my brother and sister-in-law and niece were over tonight for dinner. i was sitting on the floor holding my dog so she could come over and pat him wo him jumpin all over her and knockin her over (he really has a hard time understanding that she's not just little but she's delicate, and he is a big dumb oaf)... but she really does love doggy, she gets more excited to see him than any of the rest of us probably lol. she has two dogs at home that are wonderful so she always gets excited to see other doggies, big and small, or even stupid graceless ones like dickens. but i'm straying from the point...
she was walkin round the kitchen while i was still holdin onto dickens and she turned back around to face me and just ran into my arms for a hug ;____; and later on before she left she did the same thing ;____; i got two UNSOLICITED baby hugs. twice my one-year-old niece saw me and was like "i am gonna go hug her" AAAHHH!!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH

And a sort of alternate version for the last Fuuta/cry prompt, from a normal au that lives in my brain -- some hurt/comfort with Mappi :')
Mahiru hummed as she stirred. The apartment was filled with the wonderful aroma of her cooking. A door around the corner clicked. Perfect timing, she thought with a smile.
She hadn’t been sure Fuuta would wake up in time for dinner. He’d been out cold ever since she picked him up from his dorm room. Well, he’d probably recount it as kidnapping, since he was in no state to actually agree to come along. But that was the very reason she’d dragged his weak form out of there – no one at the school had noticed that calls stopped going through to him, or that his social media pages all vanished overnight, or that he’d stopped attending classes. When Mahiru finally made her way to his dark, trash-piled room, she discovered him with a 39 degree fever and rambling frantically about death. She needed to take matters into her own hands.
And that’s exactly what she did. Fuuta could hardly keep food down, after his diet of instant meals, energy drinks, and painkillers (if the discarded containers around his room were any clue), so she replaced them with homemade soups and teas. She traded his rumpled bed for her own, which was sweet-scented and well-lit. Mikoto had even helped with a change of pajamas for him.
Mahiru had taken the liberty of calling Fuuta’s sister to let her know the situation, though it was difficult to find her information without Fuuta’s phone. She couldn’t find it anywhere in his dorm. She’d also given Shidou a call, and he’d stopped by the first day to check in. He said Fuuta should be more coherent by day three, at least.
Mahiru could always count on him for reliable information. Sure enough, soft steps approached from behind.
“Good to see you, sleepyhead~” She smiled over her shoulder. Though in a better state than when she found him, Fuuta was still a bit of a mess. He looked pale and thin in Mikoto’s clothes, which were already big on him. His eyes were bleary. Strands of bright hair stuck out at all angles. His expression was dull, taking in the cozy apartment.
“Mahiru made your favorite for dinner! I bet you’re hungry.”
“I
 don’t want it
” His expression was uncharacteristically blank.
Mahiru giggled; he must be really tired to be denying food. “Oh, of course you do!”
“No, you
 you don’t understand
”
“Come take a seat, it’s ready now.”
He took a step forward. “Mahiru
”
“You should be more careful, Fuuta-kun! Next time you come down with something, you should really let somebody know. It’s a miracle I came and found you in time, hm?”
She spun to set things on the table. The pride in her masterpiece faded away as his expression twisted up. His hands drifted up shakily to his face, and he started to sob.
“Fuuta-kun!”
Mahiru hurried to him. His knees gave out as she wrapped her arms around him. He leaned down into her, his breath hitching and hiccupping as he tried to tell her something. “You shouldn’t
 if you knew what I
 I
”
“Shhh, hey. Shhh...”
After a moment of broken phrases and body-wracking sobs, he regained his balance and pulled away from her. There was a look in his eyes Mahiru had seen in the last few days, when he was trying to talk through his delirium. She’d chalked it up to feverishness, but she now saw that this raw, revolted horror was something real.
“I fucked up.”
The simple sentence sent him into a fresh wave of panic. He tried to step backwards and hide his face away, but she tugged his sleeve backward. Normally she wouldn’t be able to forcibly move him anywhere, but for the second time, he was too weak to stop her.
“Just breathe,” she said. “You can tell me.”
Mahiru had known Fuuta for long enough to hear the range of his voice – the excited chatter, the snarky muttering, the grating yelling. In all that time, she’d never once heard him sound like this. His words cracked and wobbled. Sometimes it was so hushed that Mahiru had to press her ear closer just to understand.
And by the time he finished, she understood why.
“I didn’t know,” he kept repeating. “I’d never h-have done it if
 if
”
“It’s okay,” was all Mahiru could repeat in turn, through her own tears. It wasn’t quite the truth, but it wasn’t a lie, either. It was what Fuuta needed to hear, and that’s all that mattered.
“I just want to take it back
 but there’s no way
What am I – what am I supposed to do?”
“We’ll figure it out, alright? It’ll be okay.” She guided him around. “Let’s get you back to bed, okay? I’ll bring the food in to you.”
He paused. His teary eyes studied her in bewilderment. “W-why?”
“Eh? Well how else are you supposed to eat from there
?”
“No, I mean,” he swallowed hard. “Why would you do that? You
 you don’t hate me
?”
“Oh, Fuuta-kun.”
She wrapped her arms around him again. This time, he willingly returned the gesture. He grabbed onto her for dear life, and Mahiru was suddenly struck with just how much of a miracle it really had been, that she’d found him in the state he was.
She held him close, one palm spread on his back, the other twisted through his hair.
“Not at all. Now, let me feed you something, okay?”
“... Okay.”

I’m there for a dark romance in like, spin offs or inspired things, but yeah in the original story she thought he was an angel sent by her father to teach her music. So I think she did love him for the comfort and attention he gave her (before she realized he was killing people) but not like, romantically. It’s weird to me when people claim to like a character but then sort of just forget about all of the flaws.
The musical and movie definitely push the romanticization of him though. He gets all the best songs, (My personal favorites are Angel of Music, and Past the point of no return). I like it because the whole point of his character is that he’s a genius who if he looked normal could have been wildly successful. So we the audience are sort of also being tricked. Of course, I say this to acknowledge it is a trick, as Erik is more obsessed with Christine rather than in love with her.
I’m reading a webcomic that isn’t too far into the story that is inspired by Phantom, but I’m curious how it’s going to deal with all of these things. It’s already a bit of a departure because in addition to Christine there’s her older sister, and Christine was an up and coming opera singer, who due to the death of her father gave up on that dream to run her father’s opera house. Raul is different too because he’s now just a family friend rather than Christine’s childhood sweetheart. Not far enough into the story to say how it’s going to deal with the Phantom, but the art is good. It’s called “The Phantom of the Opera Reimagined.” On WEBTOON.
I admittedly am a sucker for OCs being inserted into established stories considering how much I like Rose of the Versailles lol.
It is no secret that I despise the way people romanticize the relationship between Erik amd Christine to the point where nowdays it is widely accepted that Christine loved both Raoul and Erik, despite the fact that the latter one was a murderous, possessive, jealous incel who commited numerous crimes, and the only strong emotion Christine has for him at the end is pity.
However, there's one thing which completely pisses me off and that is drawing Erik as some sort of dominat top possessive daddy, despite the fact that dude is supposed to look completely hideous, being described in the book as having a corpse-like face, yellowed and tightly skin stretched across his bones, no nose, a deformed mouth, and only a few wisps of hair behind his ears and on his forehead.
Which is funny, because the people who pity him purely because of his dark and troubled past and are willing to turn him into this cute and innocent meow meow who did nothing wrong usually turn out to be the exact same guys who depict him as conventionally attractive.
Allow me to be controversial and say that by yassifying him you're being both hypocritical and ableist, and that the ultimate message you're creating is that ugly people are not worthy of understanding and empathy, and that you're ultimately in love only with the cosmeticized version of this character. Sorry not sorry.

I think I would need to reread the first book to really commit to this opinion but imo some of the horror of book!claudia is that she really is a terribly inhuman monster. she was a vampire child, so she never learned to be human. she was a vampire child so she'll never grow up and fulfill that potential. companionship is a necessity for her because she can't look after herself and that makes her bitter and disdainful of people who want love for its own sake, especially in the context of Louis and Lestat, who damned her to her current state to fulfill their own emotional needs. it's a stark contrast to show Claudia, who yes, is a vicious mass murdering vampire and has fun with it, but is otherwise a lonely woman who craves companionship and understanding because she's a person. Her beef with Louis is still about his failure to prioritize her and his assorted bad idea relationship choices but the undertones are so different and I really feel like the tragedy is that he didn't put her first and not that he could never have made her happy no matter what he chose.
#tbh i think claudia in the book is perfectly capable of love she's just furious all the time#but there's definitely a particular monstrosity/eatrangement from humanity#which in terms of the other vamps. lol maybe she's just honest!#howevvver#i say again u would not catch her getting love bombed into a theatre cult#she is simply not vulnerable to that particular trap#at the same time i think it honestly was about book claudia. at least more than it's about show claudia. she engineered a situation where#louis had to choose and he did! she had the opportunity to make up with lestat basically whenever and she didn't because she was furious#and unwilling to put up with him.#valid! but imo a much less desperate situation than claudia in the show#who is also i think dealing with a much more serious betrayal#like tell me if i'm wrong but book claudia clocks that he won't give them up without a fight from the get go#in kind of a game recognizes less competent game kind of way#whereas show claudia really thought she could show up and ask louis to leave with her. and if he agreed that would be that#and i think the violence she receives and witnesses in return is what really ruptures their relationship for good. she was mad about the#diaries and the boyfriend and the general state of her existence but unlike book! claudia i genuinely don't think she'd have tried to hurt#him if he hadn't done that. whereas book claudia would gut him for funsies#maybe even a little affectionately if he didn't make her too mad first. however it's lestat he was always going to make her mad moot point#god i love show claudia but book claudia really is an absolutely singular character i should reread just for her#either way always thinking about Her#press says iwtv#interview with the vampire#the vampire claudia

i am a firm believer in that akasha is marius' mother figure and their relationship is intentionally meant to parallel him and his human mother
#imho its not a long shot to consider akasharius/marikasha (idk) psuedoincest either#i should probably write an analysis longpost about it but still the signs are there in canon. marius was groomed to be the god of the grove#whos alternatively called “the lover of the [great] mother” as well. a little bit of a given that their relationship is blurry to#the human (our) eyes even if its simply because they are vampires and fundamentally are not restrained by our own ideas and labels to things#but marius really did love akasha as a mother (or perhaps his concept of one) as a goddess/deity and as an object/project of his#as for akasha well. cant say im an expert on our (former) queen of the damned but in-turn she loved marius as a servant. never a son as he#mightve wished for her to. this is to say that while akasha didnt see marius as her son she definitely hit the spot on his mommy issuesℱ#obv she didnt love marius enough to Not leave him immediately for lestat lol but emphasis on the “servant” part of “loved him as a servant”#this is demonstrated by the fact eudoxia enthusiastically offers to replace marius as twmbks keeper but akasha is like lmfao hell no#and makes the choice to retain marius instead. because tbh he IS the ideal... (trying to find synonyms for servant) ... lackey??? for twmbk#dare i say marius saying that he used to lay against akashas breast to “listen to her heart” and “try fathoming her thoughts” reminds me of#skin-to-skin (head-to-chest) contact between a parent and their child (baby) so theres that too#anyway this has more text than the og post alone so ill shut up for now... do we see the vision???#ive slept like 2 hours be kind if my english isnt the best rn#xndead rambles#xndead father of lies#marius de romanus#akasha#the vampire chronicles#tvc

I have not posted any of my analysis to reddit yet and I think I might just post it and ghost it. I've already spent too much time looking at other people's threads on there to feel any way good about interacting with folks.
I already went in an added the "I know you're going to bring this up let me save you the time" section which is exclusively touching on the frequent topics of:
"well what about the fingerprint nostrum and finger mimics? He is clearly just a crackpot"
And
"it's definitely some weird elaborate sacrifice to Metyr thing"
#if he's drinking hallucinogenic tea in his free time genuinely good for him. whatever man. i just do not think either of those items are-#at all relevant to the quest especially the nostrum because it is a placebo medicine and aint nothing fake about this shit#also i think theres a distinction between becoming fingers vs wanting to replace metyr? idk like as ive said i think he thinks he's-#better than the fingerweavers and rightfully so#like please come to a new conclusion other than “man this guy is on drugs”#also girl... metyr doesnt need sacrifices. like? where is that textually or in set design? metyr wants us to leave her the fuck alone#she's minding her own business EVERY TIME WE SPAWN INTO HER ZONE#like why are people so desperate for everything to have a dark undercurrent? not everything has to be some dark disney ass shit#“actually finding nemo is a hallucination & Marlin is insane & nemo is dead that movie is actually super fucked up & dory is a grim reaper”#like im sorry but this is how this extra shit all feels to me#like it is already fucked up and miserable?#is he 100% a good person? like thats genuinely person to person. theres personal gain from the quest#and hes definitely very good at getting what he wants#manipulate manifest mother#tail fingers on the vision board#devon yaps#and yap I did#like I don't want to be a bitch because yeah we should genuinely celebrate other peoples theories and hcs in these games#but i dont think “lol this guy is just on drugs” is one of those things#because i like spooky theories if theyre backed up.#but to say “its this weirdly horrible thing and youre all wrong” especially in his context is not great to me#Sorry. like may my own arrogance strike me down like the scholar i think i am đŸ˜€ farewell#because again its coming down to meeting this narrative without preconceived bias and most of the reddit stuff feels like-#“he is fucked up. won't say why. but i bet you know why i actually think this đŸ€«đŸ€«đŸ€«â€ like just you cant wrap your brain around guy mom#i do really want to reiterate this is about reddit shit. like i am so into people who love his character but interpret him more sinister💕😚#truly eating that shit up
