Listen, if we're thinking from the perspective of Tak's ship having feelings - simulated, maybe, but still real to her - if we're thinking from that perspective, then I have a lot of thoughts. I think a lot about how she felt coming to her senses in Membrane family's garage for the first time, no Tak in sight. Did Dib wake her? Was she alone? What exactly was happening in that electronic brain of hers?

And if we're talking about AUs, if we're talking, say, about Tak coming back for her - or one of the Membrane kids using her to fly to space and finding Tak - how exactly would that reunion go? We know she has Tak's personality. So the real question is how would she feel about Tak after spending so much time away from her. Not knowing where she is. Possibly, if that crash she had affected her memory, not knowing where and how did she go. What exactly could the thought process be in the brain of a ship that doesn't know if it's abandoned by its owner? The owner who's personality she carries. The owner that made her, possibly built her from scraps, gave her the ability to Have any thought process at all. What does it feel like to her? Being so far away. What does she do with that? Does she get sad? Does she get angry to not get sad? Does she convince herself she's been abandoned, scrapped like a useless piece of metal to force herself to hate. Hate the one that made her, the one that Was her, to cope with the haunting thought of her being dead. Lost in space forever. Does she force herself to hate Tak - to hate her so much the thought of her dead might stop, even for a second stop making her glitch out from feeling the things She Made Her Able To Feel in the first place. And, if she does, what happens then? When she meets Tak again, what happens then? When she sees her alive. What does she do?

The content that exists of the AU is only TaGr for now but I'm planning on them becoming a fun little crazy trouple. So it's about time I made something for her and Tak. MissingNo Anon here again. The Bigfoot comparison was the exact idea I had in mind.

However, I had a few new ideas that MissingNo would do the stream. It would turn the stream from a hard survival, slice of life to a flat out debated horror nightmare. The horror isn’t gore or dark history, or the supernatural ghost Pokémon that’s only directed towards the streamer.

MissingNo is super attentive to the viewers of the stream and consistently monitors whatever they say. No one knows why or how, and no one gets any concrete answers.

Arceus doesn’t even know what MissingNo is, and as a result, the Pokémon glitches the dimensional Wi-Fi as well as the stream itself. The colors invert, the screen in split into 16th, audio is increased to the maximum, the streams buffers, the stream just crashes, or static takes over.

Sometimes the text to speech robot is replaced with deep and speedy murmurs. It read the dialogue exactly how the donor wanted to sound, but it’s so quiet and deep it’s extremely hard to hear.

The streamer does care about the stream, but also cares about their Pokémon. Even without MissingNo out of its ball it glitches the stream, but the streamer just can’t let it go! What kind of trainer ditched their Pokémon just because it’s annoying? Not a good one.

Occasionally, MissingNo is the one to greet the livestream, usually taking it over when their trainer is sleeping. It types to the chat oftentimes spouting gibberish in 3 forms.

1:ALHDOSB£{*{^}+]¥OSKABSOBDO8292&¥91+[^{+€~*\=_¥. Alphabet spam that makes no sense.

2: “How is IsIngo, Where are you now, JUMP OFF JUMP, SHINY SHINY RAPIDASH, I think you forgot something behind the waterfall.” Text-donations sentences taken, cut, and sewn together to form something.

3: “But it failed, but it Missed! Missed me!!” Standard Pokébattle dialogue mis-mashed together.

All while MissingNo becomes better at stringing in texts, the streamer looks more and more exhausted, and just confused. It cares for its Pokémon a lot, maybe even more so than the stream…but choosing one tears them apart, leaving just an anxious trainer.

MissingNo is a lot of work that defies the laws of physics, and it’s heavily debated biology provides little answer in sight.

All while MissingNo messages are getting more concerning. The sentences they create often are extremely confusing, misleading the viewers. This creates a debate over what it’s saying, is it a threat, a warning of impending doom, lost history about its kind, the creation of the universe?, or is it making fun of the viewers telling them they missed something that doesn’t exist!

Eventually, the streamer removes MissingNo from their team, but before they can do so the Pokéball that contained it broke a day afterwards. Its mystery is left unsolved, and their presence being as reliable as the pictures of its existence online. It’s out there, and it’s real, but what it really is, how it exists, and what it could do never have a set answer.

All debates just and confusion just leads to exhaustion on all spectrums. It left mysteriously just as it came.

Hear me out, MissingNo recognizes it was causing exhaustion, so it left of its own free will.

But it still follows the streamer around. In rare instances, in less than a second, sometimes the viewers catch MissingNo in the background of a stream.

Behind a tree, in a lake, flickering in existence briefly-

It unsettles everyone watching, many people unsure if it means well. Many people grow worried for you, since it’s obviously stalking you.

Sometimes it still even starts a stream when you are sleeping. This time though, it always freaks your viewers out since they know its not on your team anymore.

It doesn’t stay long. No more than 3 minutes at most. But its scary, mixes of garbled music and voices come out of everyone’s speakers.

Sometimes the streams are just it staring at your sleeping form. Others are random places in the wild.

Emmet nearly had a heart attack when one stream was just of Ingo sleeping with garbled text appearing on screen, seemingly begging for help.

You are non the wiser until the next day, feeling a bit more exhausted than normal. Your chat is relieved, but fearful for you.

Alright y’all, end of the season! One hell of an episode fr. Without a doubt season 2 has been a fantastic season, developing so much of this storyline in a profound way. The finale sets up for a lot to be handled in Season 3, so here’s to hoping they get the green light to make it.

John has absolutely become a favorite character of mine, and this season has only reinforced that. So much of my emotions while watching have been in empathy for John, which makes these episodes land so much harder.

And shoutout everyone who’s stuck around just for these little posts I make. I started making them just for fun but I kept up with it since y’all seemed to like it, which is cool because now I have a little catalogue of what I was thinking during the episodes that I can look at in the future. And FOR THE RECORD I’m not gonna disappear until season 3 comes out. I still need to get caught up on the storyline in the games lol.

Chapters 2 and 3, let's go!

A random note, I'm going st start reffering to chapters how they are labeled in-doc. What's the in-doc labeling? It looks like this!

The indivigual chapters are labled by the animal I want the chapter title to be, and divided into segments based on POV. So while C. 3 is Meles Meles on the archive, if I had the animal naming scheme at the time I would have it marked as {Badger} while it was in progress, and (Badger) when it was finished. The brackets mark if a chapter is done and if the title animal is one I want to call back to. () means a finished chapter that won't be called back to, [] is a chapter that will be called back to, and {} is a chapter that isn't finished. So yes, for a time a couple chapters were writen as '{[]}' XD

But anyways. Onto Badger and Painted Dog. I kinda don't have a whole lot to say about these two chapters exept for a couple very specific moments. They are exposition chapters, and they serve their purpose.

This is one of my favorite sudtle themes in this work tbh. Like, Wils has a point. She often has a point, the problem is she burrys it under so many layers of terrible abuse its easy to ignore. Corprate did buy a prototype and toss it into a bad situation. And while Wils is makeing its problems worse, V2 was always in a bad situation. Coming in as a young child to replace something that could keel over dead at any moment is terrible.

The second point, V2's domestication. Whether or not V2 counts as a dove (which are domestic robots, if anyone somehow missed what doves represent) is never truly called into question by anyone other then V2 and Hell. It's wild, but its wildness has an off switch. Its domestic, but it finds its tusks the moment it slips its (metaphorical) harness.

As Saavi says this, MF-438 "Malibu" is liveing it up in the Lust layer. Seriously. Hell turned her back on (for funsies) and she's contributing to society. Mal is the one character who is built up to be mega doomed/already dead but turns out to be fine. She still hasn't seen the sky tho.

Time for 4: Painted Dog!

Love these two paragraphs. Introduses V2's love of cozy and imminant destruction in one fell swoop. I think if I ever had to give someone an example of what reading SftBT is like, it would be these two paragraphs.

Ooohhh fun fact about this! It's a holdover from the original draft where Baeri was compleatly innocent. Like it had done absolutly nothing wrong and was just. A normal assistant. Obviously that was super boreing, the one thing I regret about changeing from that draft was a very cool scene where Julyen fed Baeri a live rabbit/dove/other small animal. The specific animal changed a lot before the scene was cut.

That's probably one of the only cut scenes I sometimes regret taking out of the work. In the original version, Baeri was ordered to kill and eat the animal and later confided to V2 that it didn't like eating live prey. Since that didn't make much sence when I rewrote Baeri to be a feral little beast, later versions had Baeri be ambivilent towards live feeds. And then I realized that the original purpose of the scene was gone, so it got scrapped.

Yeah so this right here is the first time Baeri hacked into V2's systems. It's been here the whole time lol.

HSMTMTS Season 1-3

Ok, honestly I enjoyed this more than I should have…I was sceptical in the beginning and I mean very sceptical but I wanted to know what all the fuss was about so I watched it and well… it became my whole personality in the past few weeks.

"Finally Free” is my new favourite song, Gina is my new role model and "Gotcha Head in the Game” why new motto!

But let's start with the beginning because it took me a little to get here…soooo if you have read any of my past posts you know I absolutely love Joshua and his music. I am totally on his side in all that Olivia drama (even though I also love Olivia’s music) and yes I'm fully aware that the offscreen drama has nothing to do with the show but I can’t help but draw some connections I'm sorry...

Alright so season 1 wasn’t my favourite, yes I enjoyed it and I cried at the end but seasons 2 and 3 were absolutely amazing, they were soooo much better! I totally shipped Ricky and Nini I was all there for them even though, Ricky is kind of annoying sometimes and he freaks me out with his indecision and his moping around all the time but on some level, I do get him. Nini on the other hand…well I didn’t quite like her she just annoyed me with her going away and coming back and all that and there was also something about her that kept me from fully liking/connecting with her. Now please don’t come for me but I don’t buy that Olivia wasn’t around that much in season 3 because of the tour, I think that she just didn’t wanted to be on the show anymore because she got where she wanted to be and she doesn’t need it anymore. Please don’t get mad at me but I am kind of happy she left the show …again I totally shipped her with Ricky they made sense together all the history and all and I cried when they broke up in the treehouse (by the way that episode is one of my favourites) the breakup felt soooo real I'm almost sure there wasn’t that much acting in that scene. Oh and I also cried when she came to the opening night in season 3 and talked to Kourtney and the cards OMG and of course the lottery ticket for Ricky…it made me so emotional and yes I would have liked for her to stay but on the other hand, I think its better that way. I just feel sorry for her friends, especially Kourtney!

Wow I said I was going to start with the beginning but here I am talking all over the place… so if I already did it I might as well keep on going soooo let's move on with my favourite ship of the show, the ship that unfortunately didn’t survive and I'm very very upset about it!!!! EJ and Gina!!!! Those two OMG their relationship in season 2 was everything for me! I didn’t like EJ in season 1 but season 2 EJ was my everything. It's the same with Gina I didn't quite like her in the beginning but now I love her so much she just motivates and inspires me to give my best in everything and ahhh I was soooo happy when they finally got together they matched so well! Yes of course I understand why they broke up and Gina had her point but still I’m so sad that they broke up I really really hope that  EJ will at least be in season 4, I need him there, he has to be there he just has to! And yes Gina and Ricky make sense but I'm forever and ever Team Gina and EJ no matter what!

OHHHH and I love Kourtney sooo much, I love her attitude and that she is into fashion and I relate so much with her! I love how they address mental health in this show and Kourtney’s anxiety…. I could relate so much! I love her friendship with Giana and Ashylin there are so great together and I love how they support and help each other up, it’s so beautiful! And Carlos omg I love him too his adorable!

Oh and of course, another favourite of mine is Miss Jenn of course, I love her she is the best! I love how she cheers them up and OMG when she came to camp to help EJ and ohhh her talks with Nini! Why don’t teachers like her exist in real life? OOOHHH and most importantly can she please get together with the robotics teacher what’s his name...Benjamin right, I like them together and they make way more sense than she and Ricky’s dad!

Now let’s talk about my favourite songs I loveeeee "Finally Free” as I said in the beginning but I also adore "1-2-3” and „Different Way to Dance” oh and of course "What do you know about love"!

By the way can we please talk about the guest stars OMG like Chad and Rayen!!! And Jackson from Hannah Montana and Mitchel from Modern Family!!! I love the troughbacks in this show, they brought up so many things from my Disney childhood and I loved the Camp Rock vibes in season 3! It's so nice that they bring up and honour the shows that we 2000s kids grew up with!

Omg the reality show episode in season 3 was also one of my favourites it was so funny (ohh another absolutely hilarious moment was Ricky performing "Bet on it”!), and episode 8 from season 2 is also one of my absolute favourites, as I mentioned before because it made me so emotional! As for my favourite season, I can’t quite decide between season 2 and season 3 they were both equally amazing!

I feel empty now that I am done watching all episodes, I need more! I can’t wait for season 4! And God, please let EJ be there!!! I know it’s a silly hope because it’s probably not going to happen but ahhh I wand EJ and Gina to get back together! They are my favouriteee!!! But the only thing there is left to say is: I trust the process! So what comes will come but let's hope it comes soon!

It's 6am, I just woke up from another dream--

--about Echo returning.

And it's another island adventure dream but FAR MORE OOOHHH OKAY THAN OWWIE OH NO. It had the same energy as Nya trying to figure out who Samurai X was. And Echo was not a villain this time.

Actually the dream had the S14 guy as the villain, the one with the mask, spoilers.

It started with a fight between masked man, who's name I neglect to remember, and the ninja. They barely even get a chance to fight him before someone in a hodded cape swoops in and kicks him clean off his thone/podeum. They guy lands poorly and his leg gets messed up but continues fighting while the ninja just s t a r e at them.

The ninja only make a real reaction when they see the mystery man use the element of wind, and they're all utterly bewildered.

The mystery man can't hold them all off and is knocked far into the forest, presumably dead considering how far he went, and the rest of the ninja are separated into groups (Kai and Cole, Nya and Zane, Jay and Lloyd with Wu and Misako).

It followed Kai and Cole mostly, just discussing the possibility of two elemental masters of wind (they recalled Krux and Acronix) and that this guy could be dangerous. While they're talking, they bump into the motionless body of that cloaked person and Kai literally nearly pukes. Cole manages to get close to the guy and with prompting from Kai, pulls back the hood to see, not a man, but a nindroid! And a nindroid that looked eerily like Zane.

.

That's when it cut to Lloyd and Jay, they're talking with Wu and Misako about the mystery man, and this is where Wu info dumps that, after an elemental master passes without any heirs, the elements will take an unknown amount of time to present itself in a new host. It depends on that persons destiny and whether or not they're fit to use it and yada yada.

Lloyd understands that this would mean morro would no longer be the elemental master of wind, since after the DotD, he legit died and is gone for good. Which resulted in the element passing on. Wu comments that this is the fastest he'd seen an element passing on and presenting itself, and says that whoever this person is, must have been picked for a very good reason.

Jay then starts making a ridiculous list of people that he thinks could be the new master of wind, despite Wu telling him the probability of Jay knowing this master, is near impossible (Jay gets a kick outta this r e a l soon).

Then we hop back to Cole and Kai, who are freaking out over the rusty version of their friend who somehow has elemental powers too??

Kai says they should leave him here, saying it could be an evil nindroid, since they were also based off of Zane's prints. Cole argues and says they should take him back for questioning, and that Cole would be very happy to carry him.

While they're arguing, the fake Zane starts to wake up, and in a comedic way, screams at Cole and Kai, who in turn also start screaming. The mystery nindroid awkwardly chuckles and remarks that this was not particularly how he wanted to introduce himself, but anything works...

Kai and Cole begin questioning him and he answers their questions, starting with his name, telling them his name was Zane, but upon seeing their reactions, he says they can call him Echo.

Echo tells them they need to get into shelter, since at night, the island becomes unbearable and deadly. Kai and Cole reluctantly follow, continuing to ask questions while the three of them walk away, Echo limping from his earlier fight.

"Why are you on a random island?" Kai asked

"My raft washed up in a lightning storm." Echo replied.

"So did Julien build you too?" Cole continued.

"Yes, I would reluctantly say he is, in essence, my Father"

"Reluctantly?"

Echo did not answer.

Cole broke the silence "Where did you come from?"

"There is a lighthouse, in the-"

"-middle of the ocean between ninjago and the dark islands. You were there?" Kai interrupts.

"You know of the lighthouse? You were there?" Echo wondered "How come you did not know of my presence?"

"Your father never said anything, neither did Zane." Cole answered his question, giving the earth ninja even more of his own.

"Oh, no. My brother would not know of me, I was built in the lighthouse, not--wherever he was built" Echo confirmed "How did you get past the leviathan?"

"Zane swam to the chains and broke them with those star thingys" kai shivered, recalling those star shaped demons--

"Oh, you mean the Starteeth!" Echo begins laughing lightly "You know, one time, a bunch of them washed up and ate through the window in the basement. The basement was flodded and made me all rusty. I couldn't move for a week!" He walked slightly ahead while laughing hard.

He suddenly stopped laughing and looked serious "Looking back on it now, it was probably not funny."

Kai and Cole shared a look before Cole jumped up, realising something, and whispered close to Kai.

"Hold on a second, we completely forgot about his powers!"

"Oohhh, you're right! Hold on, I'll ask 'em."

Cole was going to pull him back to explain how shouldn't just--ask--but Kai had already begun running to catch up.

"So how did you end up an elemental master?"

"An ele-mento-who-what?" Echo fumbled his words.

"An elemental master? Y'know, with the crazy wind powers."

Cole was ready to punch Kai out, the man couldn't be subtle to save his life, which it just might right now.

"Oh! Honestly, Red, I have no idea." Echo had called Kai, Red, as the other two masters had not given their names. "I just remember the lighthouse getting nearly blown into the sea after weeks of strong winds. I had not realised the strong winds were the cause of my emotions. It was--new and scary. Gizmo was there to help me."

"The little cleaning robot? You brought that little guy with you too?" Cole caught up with Kai and the second wind master.

Their questions were ended as they came across a half-cave-half-hut-like shelter. Where the settled and only prayed for their respective brothers.

There was a lot more small talk in the dream but I cut it down to the funnier and more important parts.

The next bits of the dream is fuzzy, but I know it revolves around the ninja reuniting and accepting the mystery person into their group while they defeat the evil and escape the island.

Kai and Cole agree to Echo's pleas to not tell Zane for the time being, as he doesn't want Zane to see his brother for the first time looking like--how he looks.

Each of them get some interactions with Echo, with his identity hidden, remaining mute as to not throw them off with his voice. He even has an interaction with Zane where Zane politely asks Echo not to keep staring at him, as he's been doing that since they came together. Zane pegs his curiosity to "he's never seen a nindroid before" and Echo confirms that for him. (unknowing the truuuuth aaaaa)

I'll write Jay's interaction with Echo another time maybe, and how he figures it out, since hoooo boy it hurt. Echo didn't remember Skybound so Jay's just mentally torturing himself for the rest of the journey.

The ninja that find out its Echo is Nya, Jay, Cole and Kai.

I'm gonna jump to the end, because my dream also jumped to the end? Rip. But the end what what gave me the Nya and new Samurai X vibes, but less fighting and more chill chat.

He was on a real boat. Not a makeshift raft constructed out of his father's old bed, table, chairs and shelves, not pushed forward by his newly explained "elemental powers". A real boat, one that would take him away from tiny islands that kept him prisoner, away from the existential dread of loneliness. He'd be free. Free from fearing his last day would be solitary and sad. In one day alone, he'd made a literal boat load of friends. They wouldn't abandon him, not as his father once did.

He was happy, he felt really, truly happy. But he didn't smile. Yes he had friends, but what he wanted more than anything else, was his brother. He was right here on the boat, but Echo's own worries about how his brother would perceive him, how his brother would react to seeing him in such a state (Upon first meeting too! Talk about first impressions), persuaded him to otherwise say nothing.

Deep down, Echo knew he had nothing to fear, he'd heard stories from his father, before he'd locked him away, about Zane and about what it was like--just the two of them. Happy. And from what Echo had seen, Zane was more that strong. Not just physically, nindroid and all, but mentally and emotionally. Echo only wished he had that confidence, the ability to say nothing but be so loud at the same time.

It would make talking to him a lot easier, if he had to say so himself.

Echo, however, had his thoughts interrupted by the sound of footsteps he hadn't even registered, and a soft, yet firm, hand on his shoulder. He tensed just slightly, preparing himself to pull his hood down further.

"It's nice, is it not?" That voice, it was Echo's voice. No, Echo had his voice. His brother was standing right next to him. So close and yet so far, just one swipe of his hood would bring them together, finally. But he resigned himself to simply nod in response. He hadn't come this far to give up now.

A comfortable silence covered the two like a thin layer of snow, fitting considering who was standing next to him. It would almost make him laugh.

"You fought well, out there," Zane started, Echo had thought he was done and nodded again, a small smile forming on his face. Zane may not have known who he was complimenting, but Echo took every moment of it with pride. But then his world span at Zane's continuation.

"For a nindroid."

Zane looked down with a small smirk. Like he'd told the best joke in history. Echo tightened his grip on the wooden railing of the bounty, crushing the paint under his permanently short nails. Zane must've noticed, but didn't say anything. Either in respect for his privacy or because he wanted to hear the confession himself.

In Echo's mind, he was obviously panicking. He didn't want his brother, someone who he'd heard stories from his father, the bot he was built off of, his singular role-model, to find out who he was, like this?

Despite the fear in his ticking heart, he did something probably really stupid and something that would likely result in his downfall. He thanked him.

"Thank you... How- how did you know?" Though, he lowered the pitch oh his voice. It would not be difficult for Zane, or anyone really, to rase the pitch and find out who he was, it still calmed him down just a bit.

"A nindroid knows a nindroid. A brother knows a brother."

Oh I'm f*ucked...

There was only panic, in his systems. The ticking of his clockwork had never sounded louder in his ears. It'd drowned out the sounds of water, the automatic breathing he for some reason had, the cracking of wood underneath his palms was the only sign that ticking was not the lone sound in the world.

He fell out of his anxious trance when the hand left his shoulder and those footsteps came back. No. They were moving away. Echo looked back, moving his fingers to clutch his hood tight against the unintentional winds that now followed him and his emotions. He could see Zane walking towards the steps of the bounty, but halted at the top of them, his hand instead lazily laying on the banister.

"Don't worry, I won't tell them-" He called, just loud enough for Echo to hear over the breeze.

-about what? That he knows who I am? That he'd practically lied to them? That he knew everything all along, because of course he knew, this was Zane, how could he not know, he-

"-Cryptor."

Echo ceased all thoughts from his head. Cryptor? What was that? Was that some kind of fruit? Or a vegetable?

Echo turned his body in the direction of his brother to ask him or at least say goodbye, but he was gone. He'd walked off and down the stairs. Leaving behind not so much as a sheet of frost.

The clockwork child stayed standing there, pure surprise, fear, relief, confusion--actually a lof of emotions he didn't know how to process--flooding his brain. If it weren't for the distant voice of Nya yelling about the sudden gusts of wind changing their direction, he would likely not have moved from that position until they landed.

Cryptor. He thought, it must be a nickname. There was no way he couldn't have figured out Echo was his sibling. He'd said, "a brother knows a brother", they didn't have any other siblings. Right? No. It was just them, just the two of them. The only two nindroids in Ninjago.

His father had said so himself. Although, his father had also buried him under scrap metal and kept him hidden from his family.

Anything could be truth now.

Although Zane had left, and there was no one to hear him, he still felt it necessary to acknowledge what happened. Quietly and sadly, he spoke with a smile.

"Good guess, brother."

SO Uhh I'm gonna assume this was because i watched DotD last night,,, and so both Cryptor, and Morro were on my brain hense wind and Cryptor calling Zane "brother", but I always have Echo on the brain man,,, so uhh. Echo for the new master of wind? Anyone? I think it's cute,,,

I probably missed something, other than writing Jay and Echo's interaction, Jay was so sad throughout the rest of the dream, man. And Echo didn't even know why, it was heartbreaking---but it was also a dream and like all my dreams, they never get made into real things.

But I did like the Zane and Echo bit at the end though. There was a second ending, but it relied on the reveal of echo to the audience at the e n d of the dream. Zane still says Cryptor and Echo turns with the camera getting close to him. And as he turns his head to the camera, you see its Echo and then he says "good guess, brother" BUT NGL I THINK IT HURS MORE WHEN WE KNOW FROM THE BEGINNING SOOO.

BUT OOOHHH hell yeah let's go!! That was my favorite question!! ;;;; I LOVE ASIMOV'S STORIES SO MUCH I JUST FINISHED READING ONE THE OTHER DAY

My top fave has got to be Nightfall. It's impressively immersive sci-fi, about a world that will enter a sort of eclipse era and be in total darkness for a time. I can't say much without spoiling it, but I've read few things so gripping, interesting and scary in my life. Definitely check it out.

I also love Satisfaction Guaranteed, The Bicentennial Man and The Runaround among all his stories about robots!! His robot theory and the way he rolls with it are really intersting and these stories push the limits and quirks nicely.

Then there's All The Troubles of the World and The Last Question, both around his concept of the world led by AI (his Multivac Supercomputer). All the Troubles is super fun and deals with both that and crime in such a world. And The Last Question... well, I like it nearly as much as Nightfall, it's about the questions humankind asks Multivac throughout its long, long story in Earth and space, it fills me with wonder and amazement.

But honestly, if I think about it, I could keep naming stories forever. Anything one can pick up from this guy is golden, all really creative, fun and intersting stuff for any mood.

Magic was. . . A tricky business, like trying to take down a lion with nothing more than your bare hands. The slightest mistake and you'd be sent home in a wooden box.

Larion had been attuned with magic since a very young age, so he held no apprehension in terms of wielding it.

But now that he was an adult, he wanted to do something. The only magic he'd done up to that point seemed trivial at most, he wanted something. . . More.

"Hey nerd whatcha looking at!" Larion jumped slightly as he heard the voice of one of his very limited amounts of friends.

"Nothing, Remona," said Larion, smiling slightly.

"What're all these necklaces for?" Remona said, walking over to a set of eight necklaces on Larion's desk.

"And why should I tell you dear duchess?" Larion replied, smirking.

"Because if you do I'll give you a little kiss on the cheek," Remona said with a grin.

Larion stood still for a moment, blush creeping up on his face.

"Alright, I'm working on giving them different abilities to form a guard for the kingdom," Larion said with a grin.

"Oooohhhh! Magic jewelry! That's certainly gonna go well!" Remona said, expression still stuck on a manic grin.

"I have a plan to keep them out of the hands of those who may misuse them, which now that I think about it, you may be able to help with. . ." Larion said, voice quieting toward the end of the sentence.

"Oh could I?" Remona said, tilting her head so that the wild curls that made up her mane fell to the side.

"Theres one person in particular that can never come into possession of these objects, least of all the necklace of the spider, that one should be saved for emergencies only, not even I would dare to touch it," Larion replied.

"Its Romulus isnt it?" Remona said, rolling her eyes and letting out a small huff.

"My apologies for bringing him up so suddenly, but as he is very arrogant and power-hungry, I'll need someone to assist me in keeping the necklaces from him," Larion said as he clasped the necklace shaped as a unicorn around his neck.

"Ooohhh! Does that mean I get one!" Said Remona with a grin.

"Perhaps it would be for the best, I suppose you could pick one, just keep away from the spider and wolf," Larion said. Remona reached out quickly to snatch an octopus necklace form the table.

"So what'd they do?" Remona said as she twisted the necklace in her palm.

"Mine allows me to control stars, as well as communicate across all language barriers," Larion replied.

"Oooooohhh! Does that mean you can talk to the rat that lives in my hair!" Remona said excitedly, earning a bewildered look from Larion.

"I'm joking specs! Geez!" Remona said, giggling.

"Oh- of course-" Larion replied, blushing.

"So what's mine do?" Remona asked.

"Control oceans and sea creatures," Larion said, flinching as Remona emitted a loud shriek of what he hoped was excitement.

"Oh this is gonna be so cool! We can fight crime like superheroes and stuff! Crime couple!!!" Remona said, placing a kiss on Larion's forehead.

"Oh- well uh- there is- one other person I've already invited- another Uhm- mage- to- well-" Larion had wanted to explain the plans he had with another mage, but his train of thought seemed to have stopped.

"Oh so it's a group effort!" Remona said, looking over to the necklaces again "I guess I shouldve figured that out sooner-" she said with a laugh.

The two were interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Remington, welcome!" Larion said, moving out of the way for the mage.

"Sorry I'm late babes, very important visitor from across the sea," said Remington, walking over to the table.

"Oh? Care to share with us?" Larion said quizzically as he walked over to the necklace table.

"Lady Viviana, daughter of some very famous witches, kinda fidgety, wears a lot of hoods," said Remington.

"Oh yes I've heard about her, perhaps I should invite her to join us?" Larion said.

"Oh she isnt magic, probably wouldnt care," Remington said with a shrug, picking up a fox necklace from the table.

"Ah, the fox necklace, power of sleep and disease," Larion said.

"Nah babes I just like it cuz its gray," said Remington, earning a laugh from Remona.

"Well if we're just color coding then why did I bother giving them individual abilities?-" Larion said, confused.

"Wait a minute! Lari it's perfect! If everythings color-coded that makes it so much easier!" Remona said excitedly.

"You- have a point Remona-" Larion said, holding a hand to his chin as he began to think.

The Order grew fairly quickly, as did the relationships within it, Larion and Remona got married fairly quickly to Jamillan, the fourth member. Remington and Larion had agreed to allow Remington's spouse, Emalei, to join under the order, and lastly was a baker named Pamela, wife of Lady Viviana, who's interest was primarily to protect her from a rising threat.

The threat in question, future king Romulus.

"Viviana hasnt been out in days because of him. . . He's threatened to lose down the bakery on multiple occasions, says it's because of health code violations, but I know the truth," Pamela said, voice sharp for someone so soft-looking.

"He tried to poison my wine when he came over! Only Jamillan is allowed to do that!" Remona said, draping herself across the aforementioned snakes lap.

They'd talked for a while, until the conversation was interrupted by a scream from outside.

"VIVIANA!" Pamela was the first to rush outside, only to witness Viviana locked in a fight with none other than Romulus himself, on horseback no less. And on Romulus' neck, the wolf necklace.

The order tried to chase after him, but it was no use, it was much to difficult to chase a horse on foot.

So instead they tried to formulate a plan and storm the castle.

And they would have been successful, had it not been for what awaited them in the throne room.

The King and Queen lay on their thrones, limp, slits in their necks, and Romulus lay across one of the two center chair.

And in the second chair, hands clutching the sides with such force her knuckles were turning white, eyes ablaze with a purple fire, and tied around her neck, the spider necklace.

Lady Viviana, or as Romulus thought of her, a weapon to be used against the order.

Larion wasnt sure what happened next, only that one second it was dark,and the next second hands that he wasnt moving were closed around Romulus' throat, and each of his friends leaving for different parts of the castle, their movements oddly robotic.

Two questions here: Further thoughts on Robot and what makes you ship him with Monster Girl?

Ooohhh. I was on the fence about Robot's motives, but this episode has definitely put him in a more sinister light. The blood sample has many possibilities. On a less shady end, is there a clone plan? Maling backups of the guardians or making the ultimate super to fight omni man?

Its hard to imagine the goal being evil since Cecil seems to be aware of everything. I also can't see Robot acting under someone's else's orders without Cecil's knowledge. Unless that weird thing in the vat has gotten control. My main question is, how much of Robot's actions are under his own control/will?

On the shipping end, I'm the kind of person who loves romance. Sometimes, I ship something based on practically nothing.

I think Robot and Monster Girl are kindred spirits of sorts. They both have a hard time fitting in and are viewed as strange by the average person. Robot also seems a little more friendly to her than others, so far. He's more vulnerable with MG too. Robot does seem to have the basics on human interaction, and he comes as sincere at times.  MG is sweet and  seems to be a kind person who wants to connect as well. Her body probably scares off many people, but Robot most likely wouldn't be bothered.

My hopes could be cruelly dashed in later episodes, so this may change.

- So my review of this film could be summed up by saying that I basically cried for an hour and fifteen minutes.

56:   We continue, perhaps a bit later in the day than I might have liked.

Before we get started, I would just like to ponder something to myself:   What is Dirk’s actual motivation?   I had assumed that his decision to take over the narrative was just a result of the belief on his part that it was a natural part of his evolution, or that he was actually not doing it with a particular purpose in mind, but after Alt!Calliope accusing him of Megalomania became a thing, I guess I have to open up my mind to other possibilities.  It could be that she has simply observed him exploiting the capacity he now has in order to heighten his control over others (as was the natural result, considering his personality), but it might actually be that there’s something more. If I had to guess, it would be that (based on his conversation with Rose, and the statement about reality becoming congealed) he desires to prevent everyone’s lives from losing relevance and fading into an empty heap of incomplete thoughts and useless garbage. That is to say:  given the story was over, but in such a way that things were left unanswered, the story was incomplete, and the main characters were gods that would continue growing over time, it is conceivable that once Dirk reached the point where he could actually discern the narrative himself and saw that Hussie had essentially abandoned Homestuck (closing out the story in such a way that locked LE in canon and placed the early parts of Universe C/Earth 3′s timeline[s] outside of it), he had a crisis surrounding his existence as a fictional character, and wanted to take up Hussie’s role as a way to attempt the preservation of all of their lives, and the integrity of reality within their fictional (thus murky/fluid/malleable) world? Considering I know that Dirk is the first character with a “speaking” role in Homestuck^2, and that this is him writing a long letter (note:  I am now reminding you all that I accidentally very slightly dipped into it before I realized that it was not the Homestuck Epilogue[s]), I guess... maybe he eventually succeeds?  I mean, getting a continuation/spin-off would be one way to fulfill the “escape the destruction of Paradox Space by creating/traveling to a separate version of reality/world beyond its limitations” win condition that was one of the many possibilities that would mean the epilogue was satisfying in a narrative sense and not (entirely?) a Bad End.    Given the fact it’s on a different site, which could further emphasize this achievement, if that is the correct interpretation/guess to make about the later events which I have not read yet... congratulations, horrible person/Unreliable Narrator for theoretically saving reality for a time? I don’t know. That all seems uncertain and possibly a bit of a stretch at this point, and I feel like I’m cheating for including that accidental viewing into my analysis for the work I’m presently navigating.  I want to be honest with you all about my thoughts and experiences-- or at least as honest as I can be while ensuring that I don’t essentially post things stream-of-consciousness -style.  I do have certain standards of plausibility and coherence that I hold myself to, after all.  I want to keep this interesting and entertaining for you guys, just as it is for me. ... And finally, we get back to Terezi and John. I will not react to their entire page, this time-- or at least my intention is to not do so --but rather, only a half of it. ...  I am pretty sure it has been more than a few years.  I guess the time in the Furthest Ring can be really fricking weird, though, and since Terezi said he wasn’t as old-seeming as she thought he would be, maybe the four of them somehow just got insanely lucky time-ways, which is... sortof ridiculous, considering Lord English’s time powers.  I guess it’s like Clover’s caveat that luck only bends so far as to not counter things that could be considered either lucky or unlucky, or neither in great amounts?     (Note: Clover’s defeat by Karkat happened because Clover thought it would be him “getting lucky” and falling into a Hearts, Stars, Horseshoes relationship with him. At the same time, it was unlucky because it was him being defeated. Thus, the power is shown to not only be weak against mediocre things like being hit with something that doesn’t hurt you [the only reason LE could get hit at all, probably, with the exception of his eventual critical sword wounds as the Green Sun Black Hole’s void influence grew], but also against things that could be described as either good or bad.)      LE getting opponents that are not massively crazy from being held enclosed for trillions of years without connections to the outside world could be considered lucky insofar as he has been constantly desiring and looking for real challenges for ages upon ages, at least as far as I understand things. Obviously, there’s the collective wills of all who have every been oppressed by him, and the prophesy of the Ultimate Juju being used as a weapon against him after its use by him to be considered, as well, but I think that there can logically be many sources playing into these sorts of outcomes. But yeah, I guess maybe it was seemingly eons for everyone else, but that little pocket of the Furthest Ring inexplicably only suffered a few years’ passage~

What i find really interesting personally is the shot where the Tethered father has the normal father at his mercy and is holding scissors but seems to punch him out instead and has a really emotionally pained look on his face, it seems like, begging the question.....are these things really evil how evil are they can they be reached are they varying levels of evil i mean probably ooohhh what if it’s like a Batman: the Animated-hey wait where are you going no i’m serious come back please

What if it’s like a Batman: the Animated Series thing remember that episode His Silicon Soul that was actually really affecting? About how that evil computer was making evil robot doubles of everyone in Gotham and it made one of Batman but the problem is the double was too perfect so it started experiencing cognitive dissonance between its programmed directive and its Bruce personality forbidding it to kill and it ended up sacrificing itself to save Gotham, making Batman ponder aloud if it could be possible for such a thing to have a soul and I’m wondering if that’ll be a similar thing with this movie like the solution isn’t going to be violence/killing their Tethered counterparts but instead making peace with them, reaching through to their humanity to take out....whatever’s making them in the first place
