Anyway, go check out this neato retell of the og Quest story by @thequestfortheinkmachinecomics. The characters’ designs are nicely touched up, their personalities seems more natural now, the art is really cool and oh no, I’ve run out of juice for words… I just know that this retell will be good so I’ll be on along for this ride.

I actually really want Eugene to officiate the Varigo wedding because one, it’s not a very official or proper wedding. If anything, it’s something Rapunzel and Varian put together in one week and is essentially just a giant party where they blow stuff up and eat cake. Varian totally asks Eugene thirty minutes beforehand if he will officiate and after five minutes of sobbing, he agrees.

And two, because I want him to say this line-

“It has been a joy to watch your distracting childish rivalry turn into a distracting childish courtship, which will undoubtedly turn into a distracting childish marriage.”

Tease tidbit Tuesday

Going out of the bathroom, Buck hears the start of the ‘Playing with the boys’ and runs to the kitchen to not miss any part of Tommy singing and moving his hips dancing around the kitchen. No song can make Tommy dance and sing so actively as this one.

Quietly, making sure not to make any sounds, Buck enters the kitchen and leans on the doorway, admiring his boyfriend in simple black shorts and gray tank hoodie, who sways his hips in the rhythm of the song, with spatula working as a microphone. The sun from the big windows around the kitchen creates perfect lighting around him, making Tommy look brighter, almost shiny like the sun himself, and his hair looks almost like caramel.

Buck enjoys the show, smiling so hard his cheeks can start aching, but he doesn’t care. Tommy looks so good, happy and free, trying hard not to scream the song in all his voice, as he thinks Buck is still sleeping, and Buck can't be happier too. He was looking for this simple happiness of waking up to someone singing and cooking in the kitchen, waiting for him to wake up, for so long, he started to believe he would never have it. But he has it now. With Tommy not caring if Buck would see him like that or not, he just simply enjoys to sing and dance and take care of them both with tasty breakfast, because somehow even though Buck is definitely better cook overal, omelet with bacon is something Tommy beats him in.

When the song nears the end, Buck decides to finally show he’s not asleep anymore. He hugs his boyfriend from behind leaving the kiss firstly on his naked from the tank top shoulder and then stands on tiptoes to kiss Tommy's cheek and forehead, smiling when the man turns his head to peck his lips.

“Morning sunshine,” Tommy kisses his nose and gets his attention to the food.

“Morning handsome,” Buck gets comfortable behind Tommy’s back, putting his head on Tommy’s shoulder. “I enjoyed the show.”
