Since Mayuri likes sweets, I like to think that whenever he isn't hopped up on whatever stimulant that keeps him awake for two weeks straight, that he really enjoys black coffee with a metric shit ton of sugar. Spoonful after spoonful after spoonful until it's all clumped up at the bottom of the mug. If anyone else but him takes a sip, they spit it out because it tastes sickening at that point. (Everyone except for Nemu. She would take a sip, remain completely straight-faced, and just quietly say "...this is a little sweet." while putting it back and then not touching it again. Girl's got tastebuds made of iron lol)

I like to imagine that at some point Mayuri has to go to the 1st div. to speak to Yamamoto about something, and Yama sometimes likes to discuss things over tea. So it's like.

Yama: "So, about your proposal for the 12th's budget this quarter-......." *trails off in confusion as he watches Mayuri reach into his pocket and pull out a small jar of individually wrapped sugar cubes*

Jiro thinks that nobody knows about his secret relationship with you- but literally everyone knows HAHAHAHA. Saburo saw him holding hands with you one day and he told Ichiro about it- who then fawned about his lil bro growing up to anyone who asked how they were doing- and well, news certainly spreads quickly when it’s about the golden boys of Ikebukuro.

I like listening to Hypmic music on shuffle during workouts, so I've most of the new songs in full by now. I don't think my opinions have changed majorly. I really enjoy Black and White, and Move Your Body Till You Die is a phenomenal work of art.

As for the drama tracks... truth be told, I haven't even listened to the one that came out in April, so I'll read through some TLs now and record thoughts below the cut:

"Anti-Party of Words faction" Huh, like a government faction? I'm surprised the PoW allows other political parties or at the very least open dissenters. There was talk in some chapters of the manga of them punishing protesters, not to mention the way they crushed the TDD rebellion in its primacy. Either way, interesting, and I hope we learn more about this as time goes on.

Ichijiku and Nemu baking together is really cute lol

I love the way Ichijiku's whole personality shifts around Otome. Gap moe (????)

It's a cool tidbit that Nemu tends to prefer plainer outfits, as that tracks with how she dresses in TDD. Also, Nemu and Ichijiku shopping together is kind of bittersweet, since Ichijiku is clearly using Nemu as a replacement figure for her deceased sister...

Ichijiku secretly wanting to fall on the cute side of the cute/elegant spectrum is a pretty classic trope but a fun detail that's been hinted at already, since we've seen that she keeps a bow collection.

??? Rei's lab is on Battleship Island? Ohhhhhhhhh this is why Twitter was blowing up with controversy right after this track released... The IRL Battleship Island was home to forced labor of Korean and Chinese citizens during the twentieth-century push of Japanese imperialism which was later, iirc, denied in part or totally by the Japanese government to immense international backlash. Using this as a setpiece for Hypmic is oddly provocative, and I can't think why the writers would want to do that. On a much lighter note, this is also a headscratcher to me because isn't this a UNESCO World Heritage Site? The whole point of that is conservation, and I don't think building a clone lab counts as conservation... Unless they're implying the clone lab was built prior to the 1950s? Hm. Let's not go down this rabbit hole.

Hmm, the framing of Otome planning this and the way she brushed past talk of countermeasures for the anti-PoW faction implies that Rei is heading this faction.

Oh, so they couldn't get past the biometric locks after all, I see.

I strongly dislike the idea of thirty clones for thirty mics and the nonchalance in which Rei goes, "Yeah, I'll ship them off to Chuuouku" like they're a parcel and not human beings, but that's my personal bone to pick w/ this character and setting.

I was intrigued by the notion of the PoW holding caucuses, implying there's some sort of democratic process in terms of choosing their own party members or positions, but the JPN audio doesn't specify that exactly.

"We no longer require the cooperation of Jakurai Jinguji." I know that this took like four years in real time, but in terms of the Hypmic universe... I mean, Jakurai didn't even do anything for them, did he? He went through all that moral dilemma for nothing, as far as I can tell. (I get that it sets up the reconciliation with Ramuda, but that's it? Seriously?) That's disappointing to roll it back so quickly.

"During the Division Rap Battle, the people of our nation will be focused on the tournament, giving us the opportunity to use the True Hypnosis Mics to mind hack the Anti-Party of Words faction who stand in our way, ultimately pulling them over to our side." Otome always has the most batshit plans. God bless. A consequence of her needing to drive the plot forward is that she'll say some of the truly silliest things I've ever heard. What a complete misappropriation of government funds lol. Also... is this stating there are only 30 dissidents (????), or can the True Hypmics brainwash more than one person at a time?

"Once that is complete, we will move on to other countries. And when we have taken over the world, then, in the true sense of the word, peace through the power of words will be achieved." LMAO? I'm sorry, this isn't very considerate of me, but in my initial impressions of this, I am well and truly gobsmacked. What in the actual fuck. How many clones will die for this? How much money will it cost? How does she think she stands any chance at governing so many people across such an area, even with a downsized population after WWIII? Homie... Never change, Hypmic, you are the wildest.

I can't believe Ichijiku is so whipped she's willing to go along with an absolutely nonsensical plan for world domination. Or does it affect their speakers and such too? I'm curious how that works, like if you build an affinity with a certain mic or some nonsense.

KAIBAEK

my exo otp and one of my ultimate OTPs. they had a bit of a rocky start and had a hard time getting close pre-debut, but once they did they now have a sincere trust for each other. they're caring and protective of one another: jongin (kai) running to baekhyun when he was injured, comforting each other when they cry (baekhyun following after jongin and holding his hand; jongin gently tugging at his ear), baekhyun leading jongin through the airport when he was sick, jongin drinking bitter juice for him in a batsu game (the reason i started shipping them), and so on. they've had to deal with a lot of similar situations wrt hate from fans (added to the group late, "overly" featured, dating scandals, etc.), as well as challenges with simply being in exo, superm, and sm in general. they admire each other, compliment and complement each other, and aspire to be as accomplished as each other; they support each other's solo careers and are always excited for each other. easily my favorite thing about them is why they're a rare pair in the first place, despite being in two groups together: their interactions, even the more affectionate ones, are rarely played up for fanservice. it's often little, private moments where they lean on each other or are affectionate in some other way. like THIS:

it's just so subtle and intimate? it's for no one but them. most of these kind of moments like the ones i've mentioned and others, can only be found on fancams! also they're really playful!!!!! i love them!!

WIDOWANA

my overwatch otp. friends (or lovers if you're delulu like me) to enemies to attempted killers. after thinking amélie (widowmaker) dead for a year, ana snipes her helmet on the battlefield, revealing who widowmaker actually is. once ana realizes it's her friend, she can't pull the trigger. ana, who never hesitates, hesitates for the first time, and widowmaker shoots her cybernetic eye out. they have an adversarial and competitive relationship now that they're both snipers on opposite ends of the war, trading barbs and pity for the other's situation. as the top two deadliest snipers in the world, they're kind of obsessed with one another and specifically outdoing each other. it provides a lot of tension and potential angst, especially of the "i know you're in there somewhere, come back to me" variety.

ISHINEMU

so rare even i don't talk about them (i tend to ship ishihime more, although even that is third after tatsuhime and ulquihime). SO much wasted potential! both of them have been wronged so acutely by mayuri and i think there are a lot of daddy issues to explore between the two of them. plus, uryuu seems to be literally the only person in the series who sees nemu as a person. shame their relationship, and mayuri medically torturing uryuu's grandfather AND the way he abuses nemu, was played for laughs later on lol good one, kubo :/

SHONEJING

jing is my name for him, he's a fusion of "force" who showed up in only boo! and that one guy in you fight, and i love (i'd use the nickname of what character from the novel he's supposed to be, but i couldn't find it lol). i have a fic in mind i wanna write for them and it would have been another entry into the hurt/comfort bingo, but it accidentally ended up too long. the headcanon is that jing is deeply closeted and shone is addicted to heartbreak.

with a couple exceptions, i tend not to care about popular enemies to lovers ships but when it comes to rarepairs, apparently they're my preference? 🤔

Ngl, I'm truly interested in your thoughts about how Imperialism/Imperialist was handled in Bakugan series (i think not so good)

i think you're going to have to be specific on which aspects you'd like a deep dive focus on because there is... a lot lol. and i do think generally it's done in a very shallow way.

i've talked a bit here on the way bakugan's capitalist inceptions impacts the way viewers are intended to see the bakugan (an oppressed class) and how their oppression and subsequent liberation is written. because of the background of the show, bakugan are never able to just exist by themselves, there always has to be a humanoid partner that the audience can self-insert into and imagine that they're the ones with fantastic monsters in order to sell toys. season 1 is only a bit more forgivable in this sense because the finale ends not with the brawlers dictating the attacks of the bakugan but with the major bakugan characters making attacks on their own, and with the bakugan being free of needing human control. it's not perfect, but it's the best in that regard especially compared to new vestroia.

in general i think new vestroia is the worst when dealing with the topic of imperialism in a way that liberates the oppressed class. it puts too much focus on the resistance vestals and the vexos to focus on the bakugan. the bakugan are relegated as mere background characters to the story of their own liberation. it fails to put the focus on the bakugan in a story where their freedom is what's being highlighted. the most you get is some parts with drago, maybe a few with elfin, and that one scene with ingram which was misogynistic towards skyress anyway. percival and nemus are never talked about outside of ace and baron's own personal struggles, and wilda (in the japanese dub especially) hardly has any personality and only exists to enable mira.

while i do like the s2 villains and how they can easily be interpreted as manifestations of the rot inside the imperialist vestal monarchy (incestuous subtext between spectra and mira included. i am fermincest truther and yes its execution was ridiculous but i like a critical gothic reading of it), the fact that this takes up so much of s2 while the bakugan get next to nothing on their own is frustrating.

s3 also falls into this trap with the neathians and the gundalians which i've touched a bit on here. it makes it so people usually fall into the trap of "umm neathians shouldve helped them maybe they wouldnt have gotten invaded if they did" which is also equally frustrating lol

Opinion on the 12th division?

Current 12th division? Eh, my opinion on them as a division is mixed like I have a distaste for some of their actions and yet I'm mainly invested in certain characters of that division. If characters like Akon, Nemu, and Mayuri weren't in it, then 12th division wouldn't be as noteworthy to me despite how essential they are to the Seireitei.

The first scene of the 12th division reacting to Rukia's gigai (ew) and even before that where it's likely that they were behind Project Spearhead to use dead bodies doesn't exactly endear me with them lol. I will say that the designs of the individual members in their manga debut fit well with how they work compared to your normal, everyday shinigami, love that aspect of them.

It says a lot that this division's officers were behind it which I feel uncomfortable with. However, I do feel a little sorry for the unassuming shinigami in Squad 12 that are just there like Mayuri being their captain, potentially getting turned into living bombs without consent (who even consents to that?!) no thanks, bro.

However, I'll admit that they're important in creating the Soul Society tech that I enjoyed seeing in the early arcs. Watching them in the TYBW anime somewhat helps in viewing them in different scenarios outside their comfort zone, especially Akon and Mayuri. Akon adds so much personality and quirks to the division's scenes, despite being a non-combative side character who does his job no matter what (dude needs a vacation plz).

Besides that, there are details about this division that do interest me like how they'll create stuff for Squad 11, like Kenpachi's eyepatch and Ikkaku's teeth, like are they open to requests? Also, Hikifune and Senjumaru hail from 12th division before Urahara set up the SRDI makes me wonder what previous purpose 12th division was meant to represent.

I HAVE SO MANY. Allow me to list them off...

This is in part supported by text and the Visual Fanbook so it's not FULL headcanon but it supports my headcanon. True Kanae is very much cold and sadistic, not regarding humans as much more than trash, but we can see in the way she has a change of heart as she reaches her demise; there's absolutely a softer side lurking beneath that sadistic exterior and I like to imagine she's akin to a grumpy cat of sorts. Prone to bristling and wanting not much to do with others... but then next thing you know, she sighs in resignation as she lets you occupy the same space as her. I always imagine being in her presence and it deeply irking her, but deep down finding a comfort in my more straightforward and honest nature. Try as she might to deny it, she'd definitely feel that particular tug of "Fuck, I guess I care a little..." in the corners of her heart that she tries so hard to keep hidden. Or maybe isn't fully aware of yet. She absolutely grew up emotionally stunted due to a lack of proper love and care from either parent in her childhood, and my heart aches to imagine how if she had been properly regarded with warmth as a child, she could be much closer to the Kanae we see for so much of the game.

I admit for this one I don't have text to fully support it besides a gut feel, but I think Kanae isn't straight. She's definitely some flavor of into girls, I just can't figure out to what degree. The Visual Fanbook sheds a tiny bit of insight here: she gives no shits really about Keisuke, all her thoughts are aimed at Nemu. It's giving very toxic yuri and I'm here for it lol, but I just get this vibe that if a girl were interested in Kanae she wouldn't necessarily be grossed out by it. She'd perhaps even be delighted to have a new potential pet on her hands. Also her chemistry with Rika and the scene where Rika pees in the bucket while Kanae encourages her throughout it is just... it feels so yuri to me...

Kanae would give killer aftercare. She's cold and distant most times, or downright cruel depending on the moment, but I can absolutely see Kanae to be the type to rest her labcoat around her shivering pet if they needed warmth, or even just hold them to her and stroke their hair or along their body as she'd praise in lulling tones how well they took what she gave to them--even, or perhaps especially, if they really, truly didn't like it. She may not fully come at it with the same soothing energy as pre-true end Kanae, but I feel like she'd definitely help do her best to bring her subject back to reality (before royally messing them up all over again lol).

She absolutely has a ribbon collection and will match her ribbon to her outfit depending on the occasion, doubly so if it's a special occasion. I admit this is based on the CLOCKUP Vocal Collection album artwork.

10/2 - 10/8/2023

Welp, I've lost track of my dash entirely. I was looking at B3's Activity and thinking, "Man, people are liking really old reblogs?" but it turned out they just felt like old posts because our queue was posting a batch of things I happened to write the tags for, and so had initially encountered several months ago, LOL.

Last week's update, I was like "I'm going to try not to be bitter" and then immediately went off to be VERY BITTER so I made a new rule that if I have already worked 12 hours and it is before 10pm, then I am going to fuckkkkk ittttttt and write my damn fanfic, no matter what's not done. I am now in a much better mood!! And I am finally actually almost done with Renji's chapter. Like, finish-an-earlier-drafted-scene almost done.

In this week's scenes, Renji and Akon finally finishing talking about movies and Nemu and futsal; Renji talks about bones; Rukia expresses her desire that he stop talking about bones; I discovered that just because I cut 1500 words of bugs out of Matsumoto's chapter does not mean I will not then write (different) bugs into Renji's; and that inasmuch as my private subtitled for this chapter is "Renji Opens His Big Mouth," Matsumoto's chapter is still longer, and therefore "Matsumoto Opens Her Big Mouth Bigger."

Overall, the writing time was very enjoyable, though "enjoyable" and "good" are regrettably not mutually inclusive categories. The three top issues are, I think:

I don't think some of the descriptions of action and/or lore are actually coherent enough to be follow-able

The order information appears--or more specifically, the point at which it appears--will need to be re-worked. The perils of writing non-linearly.

As usual, I feel like I got a little magpie-brained with the THEMES and MEANINGS and got the narrative thrust muddled because I a) got carried away with a new, absurd extended metaphor I thought was cool and b) have not actually pinned down ~what I make of it all.

I'm pretty sure I said all of these things after I finished Kensei's chapter, which is the one that chronologically follows this Renji one, so I guess after I finish, it will be time to return to the Kensei trenches and see if I know what to do about the messes I left there.

I think finishing my one scene and revising Kensei's chapter feels doable for next week, though I also have a LOT of fanfic reading I want to catch up on, and am sorely overdue on!

• Samatoki was still very little when his middle brother was born. Let’s call him M. As they grew up, he and his siblings went through the difficult reality of their conflicted and unstable family.

• While Samatoki would later in life try to be aggressive in order to protect himself and his loved ones, M was the complete opposite.

• He absolutely hated fights. He would rather not say anything to avoid any misunderstanding. Alone time was ideal. One could tell M was trying his best to lead a different life, one that did not resemble his past.

• The fact Samatoki was a yakuza and Nemu got involved in The Party of Words didn’t help. His siblings were in opposing sides, so M never said his own thoughts to escape from conflict.

• Art was his peaceful, safe space. He was very sensitive and shy since he was a boy, and would rely on artistic expression to voice his emotions. M had large notebooks filled with drawings and vivid, colorful paintings since his childhood.

• Samatoki was unsurprised when his middle brother said he wanted to study animation. M probably wanted to work by himself, unbothered by others. This job would allow him to do so, Samatoki thought.

• He was partly relieved that, unlike himself, M did not succumb to illegal activities to sustain and protect his family.

• Therefore, Samatoki was supportive of M following an art career. He was always impressed at how talented his middle brother was, and made sure to compliment his works whenever he saw them.

• However, their relationship wasn’t always peaceful. Their polarized personalities brought tension between them occasionally.

• M hated when Samatoki tried sneaking in his room to see his artwork. His brother wouldn’t let him work alone sometimes, and that bothered him terribly.

• Worse than that were the problems Samatoki got into all the time. Seeing his brother arrested again really got in his nerves, M couldn’t understand how his brother was capable of being so troublesome!

• M also did not like the fact that Jyuto, instead of making Samatoki pay for his bad behavior in jail, would always set him free. Yes, Samatoki had his reasons for acting as he did, but it wasn’t fair to see him getting away with it so easily! Samatoki would never learn how to be more careful this way, M thought.

• Samatoki was just a rebel and careless yakuza, and Jyuto was complacent to his wrongdoings. That’s how M saw them.

• M sympathized with Rio, though. Both of them, unlike his brother Samatoki, had values they cared about.

• Samatoki would also get annoyed with his brother here and there. M was very quiet. It was hard to make him speak, and this led Samatoki to yell at him when he didn’t answer, making M shut up completely.

• Samatoki also disliked the fact that M seemed to judge his reckless behavior. They argued about it often, and M would just give up on it, saying it couldn’t be helped. Samatoki felt frustrated that M wouldn’t even try to win an argument!

• Jyuto and Rio thought they were quite comical given they were so different yet lived together. A few moments after an argument, Samatoki would hug his brother and M would hug him back, both laughing at how stupid the situation was.

• This sweetness they had for each other is what kept them together. In one of his animation projects, M dedicated his work to his beloved older brother, Samatoki.

• Needless to say, Samatoki was moved by it. He bought a new graphics tablet for M two days later.

• M was the only family member who stayed by his brother’s side even with all his flaws. And for that, Samatoki was forever grateful.

What was the ending like in the magia record game? (I don't mind spoilers, so don't feel like you have to be vague)

I made a pretty detailed post going over the differences between the anime and game endings when the anime first finished! You can read that to get an idea of the game ending.

Arc 2 of the game has also finished in the meantime. I'm not 100% caught up yet, but basically

(SPOILERS)

The main character, Iroha, basically pulls a Madokami and erases herself from existence- alongside her sister Ui and their friends Touka and Nemu- in order to permanently install the Doppel system across the entire world. Unlike what happened to Madoka however, other magical girls remember them and vow to carry on their legacy.

In Arc 2 there's also a subplot about wanting to expose the truth of magical girls and the magical girl system to humanity as a whole, and Arc 2 ends with the main characters having a plan in place to slowly do so over the course of several years (another subplot was about how exposing magical girls too quickly resulted in tragedy for one town and its magical girls).

So yeah, not only does the anime contradict the ending of Arc 1 of the game, it also contradicts the ending of Arc 2 lol

Okay, worst part about not having tumblr mobile is DEFINITELY the inability to vent whenever I please. Like yesterday, I was at the laundromat and had this. surreal experience where four washing machines in a row ate my quarters and refused to regurgitate them into the coin return. I've never had a single quarter genuinely truly Eaten at that laundromat? So having it happen at multiple machines made me feel like I was in weird, shitty Bizarro World (more likely, some mechanic 'fixed' them and wound up fucking them up even more? But i didn't reach that conclusion til later)

And then, since I'd just spent the last few minutes cussing and banging on the machines, I turned to the one other lady that was there and told her what had happened. Figured I owed an explanation, and maybe she'd also had it happen so we could like have a shared moment or whatever? But she. didn't say anything back to me??? And instead just shot me this wary, dagger-filled glare??? So at this point, I reach this little tipping point where my mood officially goes into 'FUUUUUUCK' zone and go out to my car and sit there Fuming and um. would very much have liked to post this rant about it right then.

And yes, laundromat scenario wasn't the worst thing in the world but it DID make me realize that tumblr mobile is one of the ways I use to calm myself down after Dumb Shit happens. Most of my vents go into drafts but they're still uh. vents. Maybe I need to carry around a little vent journal or smth idfk. I don't think it would have the same effect, though? Because the ability (whether I use it or not) to Share With Friends is, I think, the main draw.

Hmmm what else. I'm working on some little Nemu arts rn (was gonna finish that pen n ink but it's sooo wonky looking and I just can't seem to make it look decent? And I think the main reason for that is bc I haven't spent nearly enough time drawing her, or any women for that matter). Also have decided on my next Big Art - gonna tackle that Mayu/Szayel art where Szayel is using his weird udon transformation to function as Chair. I want to really go hyper-detailed with it and make it look like a.. statue or some shit. But haven't even started lol

so one of my most beloved hcs is mtc+ichiro end up living together post-canon after the drbs (won't go too into detail about how that comes to be bc it's a fic i do hope to write one day)

and in that context i can imagine some moments like

breakfast:

rio and ichiro become fast friends and workout buddies after getting to know each other a bit better, and go on early morning runs together samatoki and jyuto get to sleep in a little longer, but are always up to greet them with coffee and sleepy kisses when they get back the four of them cook together and have breakfast around the fire pit out in the yard (ichiro has been gently teaching rio what is and isn't an ingredient)

lunch:

when jyuto's working a big case and/or samatoki's dealing with major katen-gumi issues, they sometimes have to leave home super early or don't even have time to sleep at home the night before so ichiro and rio bring their bentos to their offices on those days, and samatoki and jyuto always take the time to snap a picture of their food and text it to each other like "my aisai bento is better than yours" "your aisai bento has a lizard in it dumbass" one day ichiro and rio are also in a hurry and after cooking they each grab the wrong bento and samatoki ends up with the one with [redacted] in it but still eats it all because he thinks ichiro made it (but i mean he loves his bros so he would also eat it even if he knew rio made it)

dinner:

i can see them having a regularly scheduled double date, like a proper double date out at a nice restaurant and all, once every two weeks or something like that (though sometimes it feels date-y, sometimes they just feel like a friend group out for food) after a few drinks, samatoki and jyuto maybe both get a lot more tactile and even competitive about how many kisses and cuddles they can get in a semi-public place (answer: a lot of kisses and cuddles, their boyfriends are so doting lol)

that's all for specifically uhh i'll call it house!verse or something (i just have big big big mtc+bb found family feels in general)

as for more general birdgun + icsm hcs...

not exactly a double date but i will always love the mental image of samatoki and jyuto getting into an argument and ichiro and rio just each picking one of them up and physically carrying them away to let them cool their heads

(even funnier version: samatoki and jyuto get into one of those cartoonish fights where they just become a cloud of dust and smoke with a limb occasionally popping out, ichiro and rio dive in to each grab one of them and come out with the wrong one lol)

also hc when samatoki brings ichiro out with him and rijyu for the first time and is like "yeah so... we're dating now" i can see jyuto just giving them a scathing look like "really? you can do better" and samatoki being like "HEY?! ICHIRO IS AWESOME" and jyuto just hits him with an "i know. i was talking to him."

and, last but certainly not least, beach date! obsessed with the idea of them all going on a beach trip together (though realistically that would probably be less of a double date and more of a family outing because of course they would take jiro saburo and nemu too)

but like getting a little too competitive over beach volleyball is of course a must lol

then later ichiro and rio each bringing over a big thing of shaved ice to share with their partner (samatoki and jyuto getting a little too competitive about that too, racing to see which team finishes first, all of them lying on the sand moaning about brain freeze when the younger siblings come over to be like wtf are those nerds doing)

team effort to bury rio in the sand while he takes a nap (he is the sand guardian guardian of the sand)

also sand sculpture competition where ichiro gets really pumped about the idea of making a miku and samatoki has to patiently explain to him "ichi you are having creation ideas above my skill level" and they end up making like a rough imitation of ichiro's speakers or something instead then turn around and find that rio and jyuto have made a neo armstrong cyclone jet armstrong cannon structurally sound military bunker somehow

and taking a boat out for some scuba diving! all sorts of docile sea creatures coming up to actual disney princess rio to say hello, jyuto staying a wary distance away but filming everything with a gopro, samatoki and ichiro keeping a closer eye on things to make sure rio doesn't mistake his new docile sea creature friends for food

finally, being so tired at the end of a long day that they all fall asleep in a puppy (or more like large dog) pile in one room at the inn (nemu takes so so so many pictures)
