Can those so called writers just STOP retconing Eddie Brock origin adding more datails that only took away without actually giving anything??

First it was Dark Origin (I fucking REFUSE to consider Dark Origin a part of 616 Eddie lore)

Then it was Donnie Cates with his BULLSHIT (cancer retcon, Dark Origin Reference, comically bad portrayal of abuse for shock value).

Now it’s this shit. Original Sin comics, 2024.

Eddie Brock origin story was so simple yet so perfectly tailored for the character. A foundation many TALENTED authors build upon. But nope! Those modern shitheads can’t build. They lack imagination, they don’t know how to work with what they have, they can’t develop. So they retcon and make solid character into meh character. If not worse.

I’m so fucking tired why one of MY FAVORITE characters should be the victim of bad writing? Why??

I really hope they’ll treat this comics as an AU. Or forget this ever existed.

friendly reminder that you can still get covid in 2024, we're in the middle of a massive wave right now and covid is NOT "just a cold". take necessary precautions in crowded places, on buses, on train, or on planes. it's better enduring a few strange looks when wearing a mask than getting ill and/or (god forbid) lifelong complications from long covid!

oh also, if you've got symptoms–yes it's a pain to have to buy a test–but PLEASE test. we're still in the middle of a pandemic however much we all want to forget that fact and we can still do our bit to protect others!

yk when you see someone share a finished handmade item that they clearly spent a lot of time and money on and it's just. The absolute tackiest thing you have seen in your life. And then you ask yourself why someone would waste all those resources on such an eyesore.

The top fabric is handwoven and handspun, the whole thing is sewn by hand, too.

Leftovers. Barely anything, all things considered, which is very satisfying.

This thing took me well over 3 years to make, on and off. And now I'm done.

My dad was looking to rehome his old electric bike and I stopped by to try it out. It’s pretty tall but I think that’s what you’re supposed to get for good pedaling.

But spoiler alert. Electric bikes are just. Fun.

My chronic fatigue has meant a lot less outside time overall and a limit on fun activities that are too vigorous. But I’m genuinely like. This is so accessible and makes outdoor stuff more achievable and it was just so exciting to be riding that I fully giggled aloud.
