cringe is dead right? anyway made up some danny phantom ocs. say hi to carly and carla, aka lee and la. do you get it? because the vampiress carmilla? do you get it? do you get the joke. do you ge- [gets shot]

i wanted to combine some of my favorite tropes for these two. i looove battle twins in media especially when they're side characters. like the twins from the book of life or something. i love battle maids/battle nuns too so. theres that. i also thought that they'd make some fun minions of vlad's. anyway heres a lot of headcanons and their story. to me. in my head.

instead of vlad's estate being a literal castle, to go with his vampire and gothic themeing instead i thought it would be badass as hell if he lived in a refurbished cathedral. he's over the top enough for it.

lee and la were twins who werent the best people, tho certainly not the worst, kind of middle of the road, when they eventually joined the church and became nuns to turn their lives around. though their old lives catch up to them and they're murdered in the church one night. their deaths causes the cathedral to be condemned and abandoned. a couple decades later, the dairy king buys the property and refurbishes it into a manor that he lives in until he passes, which is then where vlad steps in

vlad's a powerful ghost, and the way im assuming haunting works is that powerful ghosts claim territory to.... haunt yknow? dannys having territory spats with other ghosts because amity is his home/haunt, that kind of thing lol. so vlad's already OP as hell, by the time he's become rich enough to buy the manor he's highly respected as a millionaire and highly feared as plasmius (the wisconsin ghost? he probably has a cool moniker people use LOL). im sure vlad had no problem forcefully expelling ghosts from his territory and.... destroying them? second killing? who knows man lol afterlife makes that difficult to explain.

vlad makes quick work of getting rid of any ghosts that try to stay in the manor the second he moves in. lee and la arent the most powerful ghosts in the area, but they are the most prominent since their murder caused a lot of folklore to surround the church, and theyre the most attached to it and dont want to leave it behind.

they're also scared enough of plasmius that i imagine they just cry and beg and grovel at vlads feet begging him to let them stay and they'll do anything. vlad atp i feel would do all of the "dirty work" himself when it comes to ghost stuff, so he thinks maybe they wouldnt be so bad to take on as errand girls. so he does, he lets them stay under the condition they do whatever he tells them to whenever he says. they agree instantly

vlad in the show is def not above manipulating, threatening, or paying off others to do dirty work for him, so i think itd be cool or smth to have lee and la be the ones that were first added to the plasmius payroll. and then the buzzards, and the others, etc.

itd be funny i think that they're reoccuring side kicks that are this mix of like. team rocket but not as incompetent, but they are kind of goofy. they annoy the hell out of vlad when he's near them though, which has become more often since i think to pass them off to other people he'd act like they're his secretaries or something. or like their job and relation towards vlad changes everytime we see them like how team rocket always have different disguises LOOOL. tho they prob have to cover up more and stuff to not look... yknow... dead. i like to think ppl in danny phantom can be more or less sensitive to spiritual stuff, so the more sensitive you are the more lee and la would cause your creep factor to go off.

so for bitter reunions they probably dont do much except protect the buzzard ghosts for phantom and then skedaddle when plasmius shows up to fight him. they probably act as vlads "hired help" for throwing the reunion and jack makes a horrible first impression on both of them somehow. idk i just think itd be really funny if they hated jack and maddie HAHA.

idk to me vlad has a "scar and the hyenas" from the lion king vibe with them. hes like "god im surrounded by idiots" everytime he hears them speak

though i guess one important thing to note is that theyre Not his daughters! the whole point with these two is to emphasize the fact that plasmius is lonely. danny has two friends that, despite danny's immense power, are all equal. they love eachother, look out for eachother and care for eachother no matter what. lee and la may liven up the room whenever they're around, but they're ultimately scared of vlad and stick around for their own sake. over the years they've probably come to like him some, but they're still driven by fear. they're not equals, theyre underlings.

TIME TO ANSWER QUESTION ABOUT FAMILY!!!

The meeting up was more of a surprise visit than anything planned, but it when well. Donut's interactions with Petey was pretty normal... well as normal something could be in the dogman universe. A couple of dumb invasive questions but overall Donut means well, but it is draining Petey's patients.

"Yes, I was the world's most evilest cat."

"No, I won't get into the nitty-gritty of how that happened."

"Yes, Lil Petey looks exactly like me because he was made in a cloning machine."

"No, I won't explain why my tail is shorter than his."

"Yes, me and your brother are parenting him together."

"NO, WE AREN'T MARRIED!"

"NO, YOU DONT HAVE TO BE MARRIED TO PARENT A CHILD!"

"NO I WONT EXPLAIN THE WHOLE DUMB SOCIAL CONSTRUCT THAT MAKES PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THE ONLY WAY A CHILD CAN BE RAISED RIGHT IS WITH MAN AND WOMAN MATRIMONY!!"

Swoopy interaction with Petey was quick and short. He doesn't talk/bark... or sign.

Cocoa never talked to a cat before, let alone TWO. So if there's any sibling that going to embarrass Dogman, it's gonna to be her. Asking if it true that "cats have nine lives" or that "cats have a more sophisticated taste than other animals" or "do you have like, a billion different degrees. Oh what am I talking about, you probably already at the trillions, aren't you?" While Petey funny enough never even went to college. AND dropped out of high school when he was younger as well... But hey, even though all of those are dumb cat stereotypes he DOES enjoy being called smart.

Donut is a fun uncle to Lil Petey, telling him fun stories from when he was a pup, teaching him how to bake and all types of silly stuff.

Swoopy is like Ice bear from we bare bears, so it's a gamble if Lil Petey and him would have a normal day if you left them alone.

Cocoa (I admit I thought more in-depth about) would try to impress Lil Petey with her "travels around the world". Tho this is a big lie, she has been living on a milk farm. She doesn't think any of her REAL stories about how they make almonds into milk is really that interesting, at least to a city boy like Lil Petey and she just wants to be seen as the cool aunt! Eventually with enough pestering from Dogman, told the truth to Lil Petey and was surprised by the fact he was ACTUALLY INTERESTED in how it's like working in a farm. Anyways, Cocoa is definitely the aunt you invite if you're playing pretend or something.

Oh most definitely! I feel like he wants a sibling since he met Molly and all her brothers and sisters. Even though the household is completely chaotic he still wants a sibling.

Now don't ask me for some Detey fankid design because I don't do good in making things like that. Idk why but with all my years and different fandoms and ships I've been into, I can't imagine fankid designs for the life of me. Never had but kudos to the people who can.

Yup, If anything I think they would adopt. Idk it just feels in character, they just home a kid for a bit until uh oh- we accidentally planned a college fund- I guess we're gonna have another kid now.

Well I'll try explaining how the beginning went. It definitely was a surprise for Dogman's parents. Lil Petey had this all planned out before hand so when Petey and Dogman were getting groceries thats when Lil Petey went to get his grandpa- which was easy because the security in cat jail is crap. "Can I take my Grandpa for a night, we're gonna have a big family dinner." and a thank you note left for the Warden, went he notices after his long monolog about how he can't just let Gramps leave. 80HD was the only to grab Maggie and Joe, They all eventually met up at the house.

LP apologizes about the abrupt napping of the two and gives a proper introduction. "Hi I'm Lil Petey, your grandson!" "We kinda met before but I didn't get to say hi, so.. hi!"

The pair are still in a daze of confusion over what's even happening and HOW could this kitten be their grandson? Looking over to the old feline next to him they can guess that he's the grandfather... he kinda looks like that one cat that was with them in the first visit to the ranch. Was he the father? Does that mean-

Before the two can spiral into their next conclusion LP starts up again.

"We you two like to stay for dinner? Papa and Dogman should be coming home with the groceries soon."

With abit of distain in their face at the name "Dogman" they surprisingly nodded a silent yes to the question of if they'll stay or not.

This immediately supports Lil Petey's hopes in the situation. I was right, They do still care! They just need to talk with each other and actually talk. And maybe soon Dogman can have his parents again and we can be a big family! Plus- If it annoys Grampa enough maybe he'll admit he's wrong and start actually caring for once!

The kid is abit too optimistic because this is Grampa we're talking about and just because he's been good recently doesn't mean he's been tamed.

Grandpa has no interest in playing along with the kid, he may have not act out recently- all because that big loaf of a purple cat wouldn't let him anytime he was outside. But this time he eat what he wants, say what he wants, take what he wants and DO what he wants.

Of course Gramps can't try to steal everything in the house but 1) the house is endless. 2) he'll be robbing from a cop, and Gramps is smarter then THAT! So he sticks with playing along, at least act like he cares... but he'll make sure the dinner isn't COMPLETELY boring. The best/worst thing about Gramps is that he can read people and read them well. Seeing from the two dogs expressions and body language, there must be some tension between them and their son. Some tension, ey? That's fun.

Sorry for no drawing with this but the answer for how the interactions went was... something.

They are tense about the whole thing but they do ask Lil Petey more about himself. And of course LP gladly tells them and even shows a little comic he made before hand with them in it. It's about them and Dogman forgive each other and become a big family- LP isn't sneaking ok but he's trying.

This is all before Dogman and Petey enter the house.

anyway- I never planned out the full dinner. So even if wrote it out instead of illustrating it, I still wouldn't have much. I'm sorry guys.

Quiet dinner till someone talks first.

Dogman's parents don't have a good bias towards cats. So this is making Petey REALLY irritated. Which cycles back to this REALLY not being a good idea.

LP leaves for a second to make a little phone call

Petey prays that some kind of monster or villain of the week shows up to stop the dinner. But no it's even worse-

Molly should up to help LP and soften the tension.

But the tension finally blows when Gramps decides to spill the ONE big open secret that everyone but him promises to not bring up. "If you hate how your son looks so much then you got Petey to really blame. It is his fault that the old Greg and Knight you knew are gone."

Plates were smashed and food was flying all before dessert.

Gramps was sent back to jail no duh and 80HD took Molly and Dogman's parents home. Petey and Dogman comfort and clean up Lil Petey and tell him- "Although what you did was bad we understand why you did it. But Lil Petey, sometimes there are families that can't reconcile with. No matter how much you want them to, no matter how much you try, it's doesn't mean it will work and that's okay."

"I wish my parents could be in my life, to see us grow and change and cherish everything around us but they can't... I've accepted that, because if I have to choose a family I'm only attracted to by birth that doesn't want me for me OR a mitch-match of misfits that care about each other through thick and thin. Then I'm choosing my misfits no matter what."

you left chris's that night, annoyed with how your night went. of course, you could've just told chris to stop, knowing you weren't in the mood to have sex, but you genuienly believed you could get there, and you just had too much on your mind to really get into it, so you kept trying. chris's reaction left you in disbelief at the lack of understanding and how he treated the situation, like it was a huge problem that he didn't get his relief that night.

you knew you shouldn't give in, you knew he was being unreasonable with you last night, but unfortunately, he meant too much to you to just cut off. it was a one time occurence, he always made sure you were comfortable with what was happening, whenever it was happening, so you thought his frustration last night deserved a hearing out. you sighed, rolling out of bed and typing out a message before sending it to him.

you nodded, a small sigh leaving your lips. you really saw how he was trying, apologizing for what he'd done. it meant a lot to you. "can i make it up to you? i know theres nothin' i can really do to take the shit i said back or whatever... but can i try and make it up to you?" chris asked, his voice genuine.

you raised an eyebrow. “make it up to me?” you huffed out a chuckle, curious on where this was going. chris making something up to you? oh wow, he really meant it, he really was sorry.

“i was thinking we could go for a walk on the beach. sun's setting right now. i know you like that shit, so...” he said, a little less confident now when he heard what just came out of his mouth, but he really did want to make it up to you. fuck buddies or not, you guys were still friends after all.

you mulled it over for a second. part of you wanted to just keep things simple, not overanalyze it. “alright,” you said, your lips twitching into a small smile. “not goin' soft on me, are you?"

chris scoffs, a small smirk forming on his face at your words, "shut up, kid. don't make me take it back." you chuckled, grateful that the awkward tension was slowly slipping away.

his smirk faltered a little, clearing his throat. you noticed some slight nervousness in his gaze, tilting your head to the side, waiting for him to get out what else he wanted to say “we could... watch a movie together after. like when we're back. if you want to, of course. you don-"

"i'd love to." you cut him off, chuckling at his suggestion. he nodded, a little embarrassed but still amused. “okay.. okay, great."

you followed him outside, and the two of you walked in comfortable silence toward the beach, your steps slow and easy, like you’d done a hundred times before, just not with chris. it felt a little strange at first, that undercurrent of last night’s tension still lingering, but the evening air helped clear your head. the sky was painted with streaks of pink and orange, the waves crashing in the distance. it wasn’t the most perfect beach walk you’d ever had, but it was nice enough.

you walked a little further, the sand crunching beneath your feet. "y'know, i didn't think you'd apologize, let alone try to make up for it." you chuckled a litte, looking over at him "oh come on, i'm not a complete asshole. like, i know what i did was shitty, i wasn't jus' gonna leave it like that."

you nodded, another small chuckle leaving your lips. you kept walking in a comfortable silence before you heard chris sigh, “i really am sorry."

"i know, chris. it's okay. i really appriciate you doing this, and apologizing." you reassured him, seeing the way it took some weight off of his shoulders.

you took a deep breath, letting the ocean breeze wash over you. the conversation fell quiet as the two of you watched the sun set fully beneath the horizon. it was an easy moment—no pressure, no expectations, just the two of you standing there in the silence. you could tell that chris was really trying, and that meant something.

when the sun had set, the two of you headed back to his place. you walked in, throwing your phone down on the coffee table before plopping down on the couch. chris followed you, sitting down on the couch next to you, picking up the TV remote. "what you wanna watch?" you shrugged, not too sure yourself. "anything. as long as it's not some horribly scripted action movie." he nodded, huffing out a laugh. when he finally decided on a movie, he put the remote down, leaning back against the cushions next to you.

okay I’m dropping some of my fable arcane au thoughts before the new episodes drop tomorrow even tho most of it is based on season 1 anyway—

so some basic taggings for you that I based the AU around:

1. Icarus as Jinx.

powder vs jinx is just the sherbert vs icarus name thing. toxic father. unhealthy relationship with sibling. a lil crazy and maybe evil. thinks that they are at fault for the things around them. lil bombs? nah- little SPLASH potions. hearing and seeing mylo and claggor? it’s Haley- it’s literally Haley—

2. Fable as Silco.

okay fable’s design WAS partially inspired by silco— they literally look the same— they’re both a man with two priorities: take over and make his own nation & care for child.

you know the ending scene of season 1? where they’re sitting at the table? THAT. With Jinx assuming that he’s gonna give her up to topside and him getting the first chance to talk and saying “her name is JINX!” i could write an essay on that for icarus. they’re so toxic and it’s so perfect. also that scene at the start of s2 ep2? YEAH THAT—

3. Centross as Ekko

This one is controversial and up to debate but i will die on this hill— SO THE S1 BRIDGE FIGHT. I am so willing to put aside any possible prison duo gay-ness in this AU for that rivalry/fight. they were friends!!! they were so good!! and now they wanna KILL EACH OTHER!! it’s great.

It’s also specifically thinking of Ekko’s tree home as solstice— older Ekko very much has the vibe of Violet specifically-

4. Arisanna as Sevika

I DONT KNOW WHY BUT IT MAKES SENSE TO ME. It’s specifically vexed Ari during the coworkers era but idk it just feels right— I look at her relationship with Silco and Jinx and go ‘hmmm this could be something’

[I will also say there is an argument here for swapping Centross and Ari tho— big tree city as Ari rebuilding the records goes hard, and angsty fighty toxic with jinx centross is also good— it’s like 50/50 for me]

5. Isla as Vander

LET ISLA BE A BADASS IN THIS AU. SHE DESERVES IT— something something raising vi and powder alone, something something the backstory with silco— there’s something there and it hits really hard in scenes where vi sees vander and helps her get back up— also I look at jinx and vander and I go “mmmm this is in fact how icarus sees Isla”

6. Rae as Vi

This was obvious given the above but LISTEN— in this ALTERNATE UNIVERSE OF EVENTS I think it would be fun- do I think that vi perfectly fits canon rae? no. But in this world it would KICK ASS. rae deserves to beat some people up— got kicked out of the overworld (zaun) by fable (silco) and had to go to the end (piltover) to get away from him?? rae end prince aus are already here so why not end rae also punching people huh??? also. gay people.

Okay— here’s where I need some help, thoughts, and opinions from you all…

1. Caitlyn.

POLYAMORY IS HARD TO TAG AND I DONT KNOW WHO FITS BEST?? For me, season 1 Caitlyn fits best as Caspian, but season 2 Caitlyn is more for Fenris— so I’m very stuck. yes absolutely give thoughts on this please—

2. Viktor as Aax (but how does that work)

Viktor absolutely should be Aax— mr. Scientist / lab experiment / turned religious figure vessel for god is CORRECT. But honestly the rest of Piltover gang is really hard with Rae as Vi— Jayce/Viktor/Mel is yelling at me to be the polycule but aGH— ya know??? very stuck on this so I instead look at the coworkers and go “mm good yes—”

Random other tags I think also make sense:

- Ulysses as that Telchin looking mf Stev— mans took out one lil medical device as his fish self and I said YUP

- The hexcore big orb thing underground as Quixis— big white glitch orb room make things go wack. couldn’t be easier than that.

ok ok ok the off season watchthrough thoughts bc i can't do this anymore this is so good
