Everyone loved Lydia the third grade teacher who almost bested Melissa Schemmenti.. almost but it was safe to say she made everyone swoon. Jealousy was an ugly accessory that both Melissa and Gary seemed to wear the couple both eyeing the new teacher.

Am I surprised to see you here with Lydia? Melissa thought as she entered the break room to see Gary and the woman. She’s oh so nice and easier to love than I the redhead wanted to slap her boyfriend for how easily his attention was given. As he eyed Lydia making her coffee neither noticing the redhead enter “how does Mel like her coffee?” She asked gently grabbing another cup down. “She should be in soon so I want it to be ready when she’s here” Melissa smiled at your kindness “im not sure” Gary scratched his head before refilling the vending machine.

Lydia always shrugged him off with a polite smile though you could see it in her eyes she hated it all the attention from him. “Don’t you want me anymore?” Melissa asked him once they were alone he avoided eye contact and that told her everything she needed to hear.

Her arms are warm the redhead smiled to herself as she relaxed in Lydia’s embrace both women standing alone in the empty classroom. Melissa let herself enjoy this moment of peace with her friend that she had just vented about Gary to.

Her legs are wide and so’s her smile even Barbara would be lying if she said she didn’t have a little bit of a girl crush on the woman. Lydia stood beside Melissa at the counter as she made them both another cup of coffee, she was the woman the redhead always wished to be.

Melissa hadn’t always been the badass Italian everyone knew it had taken years to grow her skin yet Lydia did it so effortlessly. Always talking back to the rude parents with ease and the sleezeball fathers constantly trying to start an affair. She had a confidence that captivated people that drew them into her so easily.

Melissa was so used to having someone to smother to care for that once Gary drifted away she felt almost hollow. Though Lydia always promised there wasn’t anything going on and that the man loved her even if it burned to admit. Lydia loved Melissa but she wasn’t the type to break a relationship over such feelings so she stayed quiet and supportive.

Now wasn’t the time to jump into anything new for Lydia she was doing just fine being friends.

Her lips are cold it was now winter as Lydia walked into the break room in her layers lips having turned blue almost purple as she grabbed her mug. Melissa couldn’t stop staring at her smile the skin on her lips had begun to split slightly.

Gary would normally be almost bouncing off the walls just being near Melissa but now he seemed almost drained as he barely smiled at the woman. Barbara caught on she was a lot of things but she wasn’t stupid nobody could miss how he looked at you.

Melissa knew when to call it quits Lydia had won a competition she didn’t know she was in and the redhead couldn’t be mad. The woman had done nothing she knew it all from her first marriage but watching as the pair quickly distanced themselves it broke her.

Lydia left for a while and nobody knew why she had just vanished for a week having Ava surprisingly cover her classes. It only lead Melissa to that sinking feeling that Gary and Lydia were going behind her back.

Melissa couldn’t believe Gary would even propose to Lydia without breaking up with her first she was heartbroken. Someone who became one of her closest friends doing that behind her back? She decided enough was enough.

Melissa had cornered both you and Gary in your classroom yelling about an affair that didn’t exist, slut shaming and name calling. She threw pens and pulled her hair, Gary didn’t know what to do and neither did you Melissa had herself convinced she didn’t care.

Angrily you stomped to your desk taking the small box out of the top drawer throwing it to Gary “i’m done” you laughed grabbing your bag and leaving. Only then did Melissa stop “Lydia was helping me to propose” Gary swallowed unable to meet Melissa’s eyes.

The next time Melissa saw Lydia was at the woman’s front door, the brunette sat on her doorstep tear stained and puffing a cigarette. The redhead felt guilty no she was guilty and she felt horrible to just assume such things and to act the way she did.

A little boy ran around the front lawn happily before another slightly older brunette woman walked out from behind Lydia. Melissa stepped out of her car warily as she made her way to the small group the other woman quick to meet the brunette ready to fight.

“Olivia it’s just Melissa” you waved off with a sigh Melissa? You never said her full name “what do you want?” You looked tired. “I’m sorry, I should’ve listened to you” Melissa played with the hem of her shirt “you’re sorry? Okay” you shrugged.

“I think it’s best if you leave” Olivia cleared her throat as she raised an eyebrow to Melissa’s truck in the driveway “she doesn’t need this at the moment”

In which Olivia meets reader’s girlfriend for the first time.

“After school, are you coming straight home or are you going out?”

“Oh- uh, I have a date with Ramona.”

“A date? Okay, have a good time and be alert, yeah?”

“Of course, mama. I will.” You nodded, swinging your backpack over your shoulder.

You leave the house several minutes ahead of her to get to school- as usual. Your spirits were high since you'd get to see your girlfriend after school- it's been a hectic week.

Meanwhile, at SVU, Rollins knocks on Liv's office door to talk. "Liv, everything okay? I saw you through the window and you seem a little...worried?"

"Worried? Maybe a little, but mainly kind of happy? I mean, this morning I asked y/n what she was doing after school and she just tells me she has a date. She's never been one to be so open and tell me something like that."

"It seems like she's finally ready to let you know she's seeing someone. That's great, Liv."

"I know. It is, just a little shocked is all."

After class, you waited for Ramona at a nearby coffeehouse. She was coming from her school but it wasn't far away from the place so it didn't take her long. "Hey!" You waved and she saw you. "Hi, babe." She pecks your lips softly, "Did you wait for long?"

"No, just fifteen minutes. Ready to order?"

"Yep." She put her backpack down and two of you got up and joined the line. You've already gotten yourself a drink, but you decided to get some food now as well.

“So, a couple weeks ago you brought up meeting your Mom and I did give it some thought.”

“We don’t have to-”

“I know that. But I think now’s a pretty good time. We’re coming up to a year and if you feel ready, just know that I am too.”

“Okay. Shall we do that tonight? Mom promised to make her famous lasagna.”

Later that evening, you took Ramona home with you. Your Mom was cooking and had just put the lasagna into the oven. “Mom, I’m home. I’m brought Ramona with me.”

“Oh, wow. Hello.” She shut the door of the oven and whipped her head around. “It’s great to finally meet you, Ramona.”

“It’s so nice to meet you too.” Ramona shook her hand, “How would you like me to address you?”

“Olivia’s fine.” She smiled.

“Alright.” Ramona nods, returning her smile.

While waiting for the lasagna to be ready, your Mom got the chance to get to know Ramona. “How’d you two meet?”

“A year ago at the away track meet.” You answered.

“Took me nearly two months to get the guts to ask her out.” Ramona admitted, “Now I know where she gets her beauty from. You two look so alike.”

Olivia chuckles. You blushed, nudging her playfully, “Stop.”

“You are gorgeous.” Ramona shrugged, rubbing your thigh soothingly.

“What are your plans for college?”

“Mom.” Your eyes widened in shock.

“It’s okay.” Ramona says, “I’m going to NYU in the fall. Early decision.”

“That’s really impressive. Congratulations.”

“Thanks.” Ramona smiled.

“I’m just glad my daughter’s met someone that loves her so much. It’s clear to me she feels the same way about you.” Olivia says, right as the oven dinged.

After dinner, Ramona said bye to your Mom, then you, alone. “I’ll see you Sunday?” You ask.

“Yeah.” She nods, giving you a sweet kiss on the lips, “We’ll hit a couple of bookstores then check out the new cafe.”

What are some of your controversial takes about Olivia that are NOT about her hookups/dating/romance history? We definitely talk about that part of her history a lot.

Um I think it's ~controversial that I'm of the belief that Olivia spent very little time with the Stabler family in 1.0, in that I know a lot of other folks disagree with this take.

I hate the "badass Benson" thing, not bc she's not a badass - yes, she does often do "badass" things, she's tough and she's scrappy and she's strong - but bc it feels so profoundly reductionist. It ignores the why; Olivia isn't a blank slate Strong Female Character, and the grief and guilt and anger that motivate her are much more interesting than "look how tough she is !1!" and I hated the era where that was the only thing Julie and Warren could say about her on Twitter. She's a badass! Watch Olivia be a badass this week! We are not exploring her internal life at all!! But she's a badass!!

I do not think she's "best friends" with Amanda (in the way that phrase is traditionally understood) and I think her complex relationship to womanhood and her own internal biases actually make it difficult for her to form deep relationships with women

Questions: Why can't he just be single and a strong male lead?

Second, on the other hand, why do strong female bad-ass characters HAS TO have a love interest that doesn't match her energy? And if she does have a good male interest, he somewhat takes over the damn show.

She's his love interests, but she has to try so hard to show that she's tough as well like him.

But she's his friend. Is as tough as him, but she doesn't have a love interest.

Then she the second love interest in session two. Is as tough as him, and the first few episodes found out she was going to get married but can't fallow through with the marriage. And I know at some point in the session they end up together. (I'm just as episode 2, so I'm not sure)

Male dad-ass characters always has to have a love interest. But dad-ass female characters could never get a good love interests story line.

Look at Hawaii Five-O. Both men love life as messed up in some capacity. They are bad-ass male characters but need a love interest.

Steve is peered with Catherine. And she has to do so much to prove that she's a bad-ass character.

Danno, as Rachel, who is questionable, but she is a bad-ass mother and very supportive of Danno.

These female love interests to these male main characters are consistent. The same female is the same love interests for the entire show or movie.

But bad-ass female lead characters could never have a male love interests that match her energy or are consistent. And if she does have a male love interests that is as smart and badass as her, his character ends up taking the lead role.

A good example of a badass female character lead is Rizzoli and Isles. But women are lead detective and lead scientists, but can't find an equal partner. Rizzoli tried, but her man was insecure. Isle never had a love interest that was consistent. (If I recall correctly)

Then there's shows like

Bones. Bones is the bad-ass female lead character, but she gets a love interest that is consistent. But he practically takes over the show.

Same for Law n Order SVU. Detective Benson is a bad-ass female lead character, but she doesn't have a love interest that is consistent. They tried with her and Detective Sabler, but again, he took over the show. His character took over the show so much that he GOT HIS OWN SHOW

So I Finally Watched The Little Mermaid(2023) movie...

And I LOVED IT!

It was such a beautiful and fun-loving film and as a Caribbean girlie I adored the new setting! It felt very at home and had a lot of the charm of the original! Halle Bailey was ofc perfect as Ariel and I loved her personality and stellar singing voice! She is an ANGEL in every sense of the word, my God!!! I also loved the references to the original fairytale, such as the quote in the beginning, the sea plants trying to drag Ariel down(similar to the original mermaid when swishing into the sea witch's lair), and Scuttle asking "did Ariel kill the prince yet?" as a reference to the original story where the mermaid was given a dagger to kill the prince with in order to get her tail back, but she refused and jumped into the sea to become sea foam.

I also loved Ariel's personality in this movie. She was both more badass and proactive(fighting Vanessa and taking her voice back on her own, being able to swim to the castle to stop Vanessa in the first place, unlike the original, saving Eric more than once, and saving her father's life) and more cute, sweet, and innocent than the original who was more feisty, sassy, and loud. It was nice and also subverted stereotypes of Black women, and I am here for it! Also I loved her outfits and the dainty, soft girl/cottagecore feel that they gave, even if like everyone else I still wish she had more variety. Also enjoyed the lyric changes to Poor Unfortunate Souls and Kiss the Girl(inb4 anyone says "but Ursula's the villain she's not supposed to be right!" okay I still think the sexism part served no purpose, and if many people still saw the movie as accidentally agreeing with Ursula's message, then maybe it wasn't executed right to begin with. besides she doesn't actually believe it, she's just saying it to manipulate Ariel, but misogyny has nothing to do with the story anyway so may as well just remove it lol. wish they had replaced it with something else, though.).

I also liked that Scuttle was female, as it gave Ariel more female relationships than in the original movie. Although I don't like Awkwafina and wish that her sisters had been given more attention as well.

And then there were the little things like Ariel teaching Eric how to say her name which was so cute and romantic and again, gave her more agency, and Jodi Benson passing the dinglehopper to Halle was so sweet! And also when Ariel became human and struggled to swim Ursula laughed and went "look at her stupid little feet!" which got a chuckle out of me!

Speaking of Ursula, Vanessa also had an awesome performance, despite the little screentime that she had. I would have loved to see her(well, Halle, but ykwim) sing the original lyrics from the animated movie.

And I also loved Queen Selina and Grimsby, and the wonderful parallel that Selina and Eric play to Triton and Ariel. Also loved seeing a DSBW as a queen, and her costume was gorgeous and phenomenal!

I think the only things that actively held the movie back for me performance-wise were Scuttlebutt(🤮) and Sebastians' fake AF cringe asl accent, also I agree with everyone else about the colors not being up to par, but this is supposed to be a positive review so I'll leave it at that.

Despite its minuscule flaws, this movie still made me happy, and I would gladly watch it again with friends! It was magical from start to finish, and definitely worth the wait!

What headcanons/theories do you believe fandom would invent about your character?

Leo is a philanderer with one too many pregnancy scares with his then-girlfriends. Though in Canon he doesn't have any random and/or unexpected kids, fandom probably headcanons that he does which then leads to people thinking he'd be a deadbeat father. Totally untrue! Leo is Dino Cavallone's son - a man who emphasized the importance of family. Leo loves his mom, dad, baby sister, and whatever future family he ends up having.

I'd have more, but I don't really do much with him!

What feelings does your character most instill in their fans?

Hoo boy. Xavier. If I'm being honest, when he's first introduced as an MC, people don't really think much about him - especially when compared to his rockstar brother and their grumpy father. He might have a small fan base in the beginning given his good looks (assuming you're shallow like me lol), but most people compare him as a younger, quieter and calmer version of his father. Xavier doesn't like to fight. He's kind of just there.

Can I be honest? This was a very hard question LOL. I Googled popular TikTok songs and just chose from the list (after I listened to it lol). I really wanted a rock n' roll song to go hand in hand with Sebastian's aesthetic, but I couldn't think of anything.

Anyways, it's Beautiful Things by Benson Boone. NGL, when I heard the chorus (I guess it's called that idk, but you'll know what part I mean I hope) I thought this was Harry Styles LOL because that's the only part of the song I know. I never listened to it in it's entirety until now.

Oh, this is definitely my favorite question lol. I also took into consideration what would be the most popular ships in the fandom.

Leo x Rhys, Leo x Mako, or Leo x Sei. I sort of considered Leo and Lucie, but there was no way I could see her tolerating his ass LOL. It's funny how all his crack ships are with guys considering he's the straightest OC I know LSDFJSDLFJ.

Sebastian x Addison, Sebastian x Celine, or Sebastian x Mia. Fun fact: Sebastian x Mia used to be canon. But, I had a difficult time with Seb because he hardly interacts with anyone. The only friends he has are lesbians LOL.

Extremely roughly I fooled around to try and come up with some looks for the Corroded Coffin guys as their stage makeup. Metal guys go so hard, especially in the 80s, so I wanted them to have some unique looks. Especially with them getting older and being able to grow beards and the likes! I've also included some nicknames (not stage names, just fan-made titles/names); I don't have one for Eddie yet, I need to think more on that.

Eddie: Leaned a little more into the glam look. I was thinking something kind of "messy" looking. It would be messy on purpose so as Eddie sweats on stage his makeup would run and just add to the overall look. So, black eye makeup that has a smeared effect, semi-Viking inspired, and then glam lipstick but smudges that too so it either looks like he was just making out with someone or there is blood around his mouth. I imagine Eddie plays shirtless a lot or at the very least eventually strips down to just pants while on stage from the heat. Other descriptions under the cut.

Jeff "Axe-Smith" Smithers: I imagine he has some religious background with his family, but they're not particularly bothered by his music. Though they don't love him using religious symbolism in a blasphemous way. I think a lot more of Jeff's LOOK would be in his outfit rather than makeup (probably a lot of black leather with white striking points), but his stage look would involve him having a beard. Grow his beard out and then there would be simple white eyeliner on one eye with a cross drawn under it coming from the corner of his eye. (I think his nickname comes from DnD campaign where he played a dwarf that was called Hammersmith and that got adapted into a fun inside joke with him being "so good at playing the axe" (guitar) which evolved into Axe-Smith).

Gareth "the Don of Drums" Bourdon: he would start out earlier in their career with stage makeup and then move on to wearing a mask because that is just so much easier for him as a drummer. To start he would draw the lower portion of a skull on his jawline with the teeth and stuff. But the mask he adopts just covers the bottom portion of his face and is either a jawbone effect or the bottom portion of a skull that covers his chin and mouth (with a mouth-breathing hole, lol). I think he would also grow his hair longer and wear headbands in the metal style. Gareth would also be all about ripped t-shirts and jeans because he prioritizes movement/comfort while he plays. ("the Don" obviously comes from the last portion of his name bour-DON). [Unnamed freak] Benson Redd (given name: Alec Benson-Redd): he grows his hair longer and grows a beard, really adopting a much more "Viking" look. I think it would make him feel badass while not forcing him in any way to lose weight. The makeup is more simple with two red lines down his face that he purposefully cakes into his beard at the bottom. Though outfit-wise I don't think he is particularly "Viking-like" and leans heavier into the metal look with heavy leather coats and things like that. (I personally think Benson hates his first name "Alec" and goes by Benson and then when stage names happen he goes by Benson Redd as if his last name alone was Redd. Maybe he even permanently changes it when he gets older).

-the attack scene, while still awful that she went through that, was not as graphic as I thought it would be and I’m glad. That being said the promo definitely made it look worse because wolf entertainment thinks trauma porn sells. It doesn’t. That’s gross

-part of me hates that Noah had to witness it but it did seem to make him worry about his mom and realize he’s lucky to have her even though he likes the McCann’s

-they gave us an accurate and in character portrayal of trauma. Showed her having flashbacks and being nervous about being alone (I will have thoughts on the shotgun in a bit because DAMN) but also very 1.0 Olivia still determined to work and the “remember me?” At the end? Badass. Gave “who’s the bitch now?” Vibes that 2.0 didn’t have.

-LOVE seeing ASL/disability representation on SVU. It’s long overdue. Our trauma matters too and seeing Olivia Benson determined to get justice for people like me was cathartic.

-ok…do we think Olivia moved or was that a safe house? Cause I don’t think it was her apartment unless she remodeled but like WHY the change? WHY not tell us she moved? I mean I don’t blame her for wanting to start over and not live in the same place she lived with Brian after Lewis but why NOW? I NEED TO KNOW but that could also be a safe house. I hope someone told Elliot her new address

-Olivia Benson having a shot gun? I’m a liberal who believes strictly in gun control and that no citizen needs more than a handgun at most for self defense. That being said that scene was hot in a badass way. Don’t mess with mama bear and her cub. There’s also a part of me though that wonders if she got it after Lewis for extra protection. Because Noah wasn’t with her this time and she looked a little shaken/triggered and might’ve felt like she needed extra protection (she also could’ve called Elliot 😭 but we’ll talk about that later) I’m just so glad this show is showing PTSD realistically now. I imagine that will hit her more in later episodes

-still not sure how to feel about the Mccann’s. Something is off with them

-I think the stuff with Rollins, feeling her absence is because it’s also bringing back feelings from when Elliot left and that’s why she’s avoiding him. They need to TALK. How does Elliot not know about her attack? Why didn’t we at least get a phone call? Hopefully we will get more answers in the next couple weeks

I commented on this earlier in OB, but George Benson is selling a bunch of guitars. Benson is an interesting figure in jazz...he was considered the next Wes Montgomery when he was a 19 year old prodigy, and released a few albums that are blisteringly good. Just fucking top notch guitar work, period. As good as it gets.

...but, until recently, he was considered just outside of the great jazz guitarist conversation because the majority of his career was in the smooth jazz/easy listening realm that earned him worldwide fame, and more money than jazz guys could even conceive. Oh and he sang...which...ew.

There's a lot of people that like this. Breezin' is probably his biggest hit.

I think it's awful, but this was a spawning moment. If you've been in an elevator or dentist's office or department store...you've heard shit like this. And it's really sad and depressing that a monster like Benson could make more money doing stuff like this, than actually playing the badass music he did as a kid.

But hey, other people's finances are their own business.

And despite all that, my respect for George Benson as a guitarist overall is about as high as it gets. The last decade has seen a renaissance of his style...young guys are adopting his technique and phrasing all over the place.

Here are two incredible musicians...one from Brazil and the other from NE Ohio...and they play exactly like Benson. Farrell even works alongside Benson teaching a course on Benson's approach, having worked together as student/teacher for over a decade.

Look at the pick hand. That's the biggest visual identifier of someone coming from the Benson method...as much of one as playing with a classical right hand comes from the Joe Pass method.

What's harder to notice unless you know what to look for is the simplified method Benson used to break down chord progressions. All those blistering scalar runs are because he flattens the runway and doesn't concern himself with hitting all the chords in a progression, rather, finding the important ones and blasting them for full effect. Any "wrong notes" become right eventually.

This is something almost all jazz musicians do...sticking with guitar, Pat Martino focused on the II chord while Joe Pass focused on the V. Any of these approaches...Benson's "two chord" system, Martino's II or Pass' V...are solutions to the same problem.

Not that she was ungrateful for the woman in front of her to come to her rescue when the patient had decided to try and attack her but usually with Meredith's track record in the past these kind of saviors were a little too late. That being said though she still wasn't without injury. The bump on her head would prove to be annoying at the very least.

"I'm fine--" she insisted as one of her colleagues tried to take a look at her while things calmed down. "Really." She looked away from the other doctor to the officer and instead said, "Thanks." Now that things seemed to be calming down.

My thoughts on season 25 of svu and season 4 of OC:

25x01, I forgot how annoying commercials are, when you watch an episode live. There are some choices here… like what’s up with the blinding light at the end of the tunnel? Tiny Cast. So Benson is just supposed to know when someone is being kidnapped? Please tell me that is not a Standard we are setting up here. So that detective is definitely joining the squad, right?!? We do voiceovers now? So the case will be resolved at the end of the season…

OC 4x01, Stabler called her!!! (Gotta take the little wins, because I doubt that there will be any big ones) Stabler has no survival instinct, but at least Bell is looking out for him. I really don’t want Reyes and Jet to happen. Dude is still married, right?!? That was the softest look from Stabler when he saw Benson on TV.

25x02, I think it's really weird that Benson wears the Maddie Bracelet. On this whole episode: Seriously?!?

OC 4x02, Warner! That hug was so sweet. Stabler with the Baby. I like the Stabler brothers.

25x03, at least Liv is getting therapy. And she held the compass, crumbs that almost make up for a boring episode.

OC 4x03, the Final scene with the Stabler brothers was really sweet.

25x04, well we at least got an Elliot mention. I think this was the best episode of the season so far, which isn't a high bar… so, how does it work with a captain not working as a captain on another force?

OC 4x04, I really, really like OC this season, from the case and overall story, to the Stabler family. To reiterate, I love the Stabler brothers! Lizzie is still the kid that gets no line and no attention, justice for Lizzie. I'm sorry, but that salad has absolutely no dressing on it, no wonder the witness‘ daughter doesn't want to eat it. Stabler is totally gonna blame himself, for whatever is about to happen… that suspension is freaking stupid!

25x05, this Maddie plot line is so weird. At least now we can move on…

OC 4x05, barely into the episode and I already like it more than SVU, I mean we get a call from Benson! No, Elliot does not consider him a part of the team… Jennifer Ehle!!! The team has Stabler’s back! Their disappointment when he tells them not to follow him was funny.

OC 4x06, I’m starting to like Chief Bonner. Not sure how I feel about Stabler burning his necklace. There are a lot of instances of people comparing Elliot to his father this season, I want to know what this leads to.

25x07, I liked the throwback to 911.

OC 4x07, Stabler has warmed up to Vargas so much, he is already taking his clothes. I like the subtle comedy in OC, it’s either intentional or due to me watching this at an unreasonable hour. Stabler really got injured again, this brings back memories. Poor Chief Bonner having to kill her own brother. Cragen! Also call back to the brotherhood. And again, poor Chief Bonner. But man, OC is soooo good this season!

OC 4x08, Cragen! Cragen and Elliot make a great team. “Heart attack?” “I thought it worked” Lol. Bell out here fighting for Stabler, and I am here for it! Must be weird to see, how they’re gonna make it look like you killed yourself, good on Bonner to save herself. After this arc is over, I’d like a spin-off with Bonner. Bonner is a badass!! Just handing out guns. He dead? I did not expect them all to be dead, like expected one to be, but not all of them. Bonner is gonna need a LOT of therapy after this! That was a sweet ending to a great story arc.

25x09, you know what I’d like Benson to do with Noah starting to ask questions about her job? Call Stabler. I’m sure he must have some experience with kids asking those questions. Velasco looked so lost, when Benson told him he had to come with her.

OC 4x09, Elliot refusing to break and enter is kinda funny. The Stabler bros are sooo good! And then Elliot breaks and enters… the ending of the intervention scene was funny, “could have been worse”. Did we finally find out what Elliot’s rank in the marines was?!? Stabler barely arrived and is already beating people up. Jet and Reyes undercover as travel influencers is something I didn't know I needed! Oh Elliot…

25x10, I just want to never hear about Maddie again.

OC 4x10, would have liked Bashir to stay. The way Stabler told the team about Bashir was heartbreaking but so well done. We actually get images of what Stabler went through in the Marines! Did I mention I love this show?!? Stabler pulling up his zipper after “making out” with the ATF girl was funny. I'm starting to really like Vargas. If Joe is responsible for Bashirs death, I don't think Stabler will get over that anytime soon.

OC 4x11, kinda forgot to write anything down. But the episode was good! Especially Stabler saving the FTA agent!

OC 4x12, the team’s look when Jet and Reyes tried to hide arriving together was on point. The Stabler bros kidnapping Joe Jr was fun. Man, Stabler is such a softie! Vargas looks sooo excited being in the field. Randall making Eliott pay for the caretaker is a moment of levity I needed after that server scene. Stabler gonna have to renovate again…

25x13, seriously?!? She gave up the compass?!?? Well, we at least got a phone call…

OC 25x13, Eli Jr really coming after his father. Good on Randall to refuse to tell Elliot the news. I did not expect the FTA agent to go for Vargas. Stabler and Jet are sweet and funny together (in a very non-ship way). Joe is in way over his head. Of course Elliot just new about the pregnancy, dude has enough experience with that.

SVU was just a let-down this season… I wasn't a fan of the Maddie storyline, and didn't much care for any of the other stories. I think the ending of the last season set it (this season) up for a very different story than the one we actually got. Considering it was a landmark season, there wasn't really anything to show for it (except Maria). Here's hope for a BIG improvement next season! (It kinda has to because we can't even watch it for the compass anymore…) OC on the other hand has been on fire! I was really looking forward to each episode. And they actually show the family and relationships of their character, which is something SVU is definitely lacking. I wasn't sure about Vargas at the beginning, but I started to really like him. One thing I will give SVU over OC: I preferred the phone call at the end of the finale over the Cemetery.

Favorite character: easy answer, but it's got to be Mac. I literally started watching the show for Lucas Till, and he quickly remained my favorite

Second favorite character: Hm... Desi. She comes in A.P. (after Patricia) so idk if you've actually seen the seasons she's in, but she's just a total badass and I love her dynamic with Mac

Least favorite character: Nikki. At first I liked the backstabbing arc because it was cool, but then they kept going back and forth with it and I got really tired of it.

The character I’m most like: Mac, but like 60% less cool. I mean, I pride myself on being adaptable and prepared, I keep a Swiss Army Knife and duct tape on me at all times, and while I did well in college I did drop out because it was too stifling for me.

Favorite pairing: Mac and Riley!!! I was spoiled on it becoming canon when I was still on Season 3, but I ended up basically counting down the episodes until I got to see it. I love Mac/Desi too, but it's just not quite the same.

Least favorite pairing: Mac and Nikki I guess, just because they couldn't let go of it when it rightfully should have been left alone. I never saw the chemistry between them, especially when they tried to go back to it a second time

Favorite moment: sorry, I just can't choose! Though I do love the montages they do when he puts something together, it really scratches the itch in my creative-problem-solving brain. I was a Mythbusters kid and I still love seeing someone solve a problem in a really unique way

Rating out of 10: ooh solid nine or ten, it's easily one of my favorite shows

AHS Asylum:

Favorite character: Lana, mainly because I like the Nellie Bly arc to her story and how she dove right in. There's a lot to respect about a character like that.

Second favorite character: Kit. He's just such a sweetheart. Honestly vying for first place but Lana won out just bc I love Nellie Bly's story.

Least favorite character: Jude. Sorry. Never liked her before the electroshock thing, and the Name Game bit honestly just made me cringe. I like that she got a bit of redemption, but she really wasn't my favorite character.

The character I’m most like: uh... not a clue. Asylum wasn't my favorite so I only watched it once, and I didn't find myself intensely connecting with any of the characters.

Favorite pairing: Alma and Kit I suppose. It ended a little weirdly but I like the way it began

Least favorite pairing: honestly idk. There weren't many pairings to begin with and I was neutral about pretty much all of them

Favorite moment: I liked when Shelley drags herself out of the lab all mutilated, simply bc I like SFX makeup and thought it was a well-done look

Rating out of 10: I'm gonna be real, I wasn't a big fan of Asylum. They tried way too much and it ended with a really chaotic season with too many loose ends. Not the worst, but not my favorite. Maybe a 6?

Favorite character: My boy Kyle!!! He had so much potential, they just utilized him so poorly. I wish they gave him more of his own arc instead of just using him to spur on Zoe's and Madison's, because they established SUCH a cool character with him and then went nowhere with it.

Second favorite character: I really liked Nan, actually. Her powers are cool, I like her personality, and I enjoyed her little romance arc with the neighbor guy.

Least favorite character: ZOE MFING BENSON. Don't get me started.

The character I’m most like: Uh... I really don't know. Maybe Cordelia, just bc that social pressure and parental expectation was something I really resonated with.

Favorite pairing: Next question, Your Honor. Does it count if I say Kyle x my OC Jasper?

Least favorite pairing: Zoe and Kyle. They met ONCE and he was literally just a plaything for her. And she didn't even do much to help him when she brought him back, she just wanted him in a place where she didn't have to take care of him but could still use him however she wanted.

Favorite moment: Ugh, Kyle with the tattoos just breaks my heart. The realization as soon as the flashback starts, not to mention the dichotomy between him singing along to Toto on the radio with his buddies versus sitting alone, chained up and miserable, is just so heartbreaking.

Rating out of 10: Eight, I liked it a lot but there were a few missed opportunities

Mandalorian:

Favorite character: I really liked Bo-Katan, especially the way they worked with her character arc. There were some really cool moments and some wonderful developments with her, and I really enjoyed the non-romantic parents dynamic she had with Din and Grogu

Second favorite character: Paz!! He didn't have much screentime, but I loved his character. His relationship with his son, his devotion to holding back Gideon's guards so the others could escape... ugh, wonderful and heartbreaking.

Least favorite character: I mean this in a "he did such a wonderful job I can't help but hate him" way, but Moff Gideon. Seriously, so much praise to Giancarlo Esposito, fantastic performance for an utterly despicable character

The character I’m most like: Bo-Katan, maybe.

Favorite pairing: Pass. There's not much romance in this one and that's okay. Honestly a breath of fresh air after so many other shows push romance.

Least favorite pairing: See above.

Favorite moment: when Din has to take off his helmet while undercover, but more specifically when Migs chooses not to acknowledge it and hands his helmet back when it's over. It shows such wonderful character development for both of them
