Saw your latest art, and Geeta and Diantha are definitely rumoured to be dating despite just being friends. These two idiots will spend the day with each other then share a bed and be confused about the rumours
Also I know you have your Villain Diantha AU, and her whole reason is that she wants to get rid of those she herself deems “filth” or “to far gone” so that the world is a better place and she can rule/dictate the planet
But what about the other champions? If in separated AUs why would they become the villains of their worlds? What caused them to go down a separate path then their original counterparts?
No but fr tho imagine all the fucking rumours Dia has to hear from her manager abt her and Geeta tho hahaha these two are like the definition of kissing the homies goodnight and they can somewhat do it in the most platonic way like they'll sleep together whenever they're staying at another champion's or each other's place and the first time Geeta joined them the others also thought she and Dia were dating hahaha
And ohhh👀👀
Ngl tho, the villain Dia au was originally villain Lance bc I did write two chapters of it too, and he got Giratina from Cyrus hahaha so in a nutshell it's the same corrupted Galar League bc of Rose thing and Lance went all knight mode and killed Rose for Diantha. But another concept I thought that maybe he did snap sometime before that bc people kinda look down on him despite being the Indigo Champion now, as they know Red and Green are still around and those two just probs gave Lance that title bc they dont want it anymore, leading different lives now. And Lance didn't really take that well bc hey, he's a strong trainer y'know, ofc he's Champion, but still people kinda see him as a stand in for Red and Green and he fucking hates it, so during the tournament he went above and beyond to try and beat everyone, and if they're close to winning against him, well.. Dragonite's Hyper Beam will be the last thing they'll see
Idk how'd Steven would be villain tho bc of all the champions I see him as the kindest and the most open minded, so he'd probs have no problems other than the ones he buried for so long na. I do wanna say that maybe he does see Wallace struggling tho, and maybe he would want to change the world for him and Lisia bc hey, those two are his family now too, he loves them very much, and he doesn't like seeing Wallace struggle anymore, so maybe he would do a Diantha and change the world for the one he loves. Tho, unlike Dia, I imagine Steven as a villain to be the kind that's extremely inconspicuous, more so than Diantha. Like legitimately no one knows he's behind every shitty thing that's happening to those who don't like Wallace, bc unlike Dia who showed herself to Malva, Steven kept quiet and just watched from the sidelines
Same w Wallace ngl, but I also think that if smth were to happen to Lisia, he would snap and lash out on everyone. Think of Team Aqua, but tenfold, it didn't help he's the Guardian of Sootopolis too, this mf knows where Kyogre is and knows just what to do for the legendary Mon to bow to his will, and soon everyone will die in the same sorrowful waters that drowned him
God villain Cynthia is also reallyyyyy *wild hand gestures* cause like imagine her similar to Volo, acting all friendly then stabbing the trainer in the back. She knows abt Galactic and tried to "help" Dawn and Barry on stopping them, but she never really stopped them y'know, if you catch my drift. Like she's equally curious what Cyrus would do, what would happen if they open the portal to the Distortion World, and she did find out abt it. She watched Cyrus die in front of her, watched Dawn battle Giratina, and stared Giratina dead in the eyes, telling it that if he joins her, he'll finally escape the Distortion World and let the people see just how much more powerful he is compared to Arceus. And ough smth smth Giratina seeing Volo in Cynthia's place, sees the potential in Cynthia, and God imagine if Giratina did possess Cynthia tho, and Cynthia's playing along too bc now people really know she's unbeatable, now that she's a god.
Iris and Hau I can't imagine them as villains but I can imagine the others becoming villains for them. like,, back then I had this concept, y'know the song Hell's Coming With Me by Poor Man's Poison? I have this thought that people really looked down on them so much that the two became ashamed of showing themselves to the public, but Iris was pissed y'know, and made a vow that when she and Hau returns then all hell will break lose, she will make sure of it. The people thought she was just bluffing, but then suddenly all the champions went against the people of their region, against those who look down on Iris and Hau especially, and the two are just happy y'know that the other champions are "taking care" of em by taking out the people who shit talked them
Leon,, same w Wallace?? Like if smth happened to Hop? Cause he does care abt his bro y'know. But I also wanna add that maybe Rose did smth to Hop when Leon was acting out of line and that was the final straw for Leon and really up and killed Rose, bc Lee really couldn't bare the thought of smth happening to his brother, and if he's going to make sure nothing bad ever happens to the one he loves too (so basically like Diantha, do you see now why these two make me so fucking ill like cjmsndmd)
Ough Geeta my guy so in my hcs she's like,, she's struggling w feeling empathy, y'know, any sort of emotion really. And she's trying, and Diantha's helping her and such, but I also wanna say in the Villain Geeta au, as much as she loves Diantha, she also doesn't listen to her much. So most of the time she feels kinda empty, even though Diantha's helping her. I wanna say in this au, she did know what happened to Sada/Turo, and she was there when it happened, she knows what will happen, but she never warned them of the danger, bc maybe if smth happened to them she'd feel something too. And when they died, she didn't feel anything but the thrill of watching them dying over their own research. She didn't understand why, perhaps they weren't that close, but there's smth abt it y'know, watching others suffer that makes her feel some sort of thing, and it made her feel alive. Tho w this bc I'm trash for these two, if Dia did get hurt tho, that's when Geeta would really feel absolute anger, if those who hurt Dia won't die naturally, then she'll kill them herself. After all, it's one thing to feel that thrill watching someone die, imagine how much more she'd feel if she's the one to actually kill them
#as you can see dia/leon and dia/geeta dynamics continue to fuck me up no matter the au owo#tho i do wanna add in leons part#that he doesnt want to become the absolute ruler of the world like dia#he just wants those he see as a threat gone#anyways yeah theres smth so fucking sexy abt the champions being villains#like imagine an au where all of them are villains tho#like not the actual evil orgs like rocket plasma etc#but like twist villains? secret villains? that they got the power to their heads#and all of them think that theyre the only ones worthy in their world#idk but its interesting to think abt it hahaha#pokemon champions#an ask and an answer#jerseyk112#villain champions au

How to write a villain protagonist
By Writerthreads on Instagram
Writing a villain as your main character can be a lot of fun, but it takes some finesse to make them both captivating and believable. You want the audience to stay hooked on their journey, even if they don't exactly like them. Here’s how you can pull it off:
Give Them a Real Reason for What They Do
Your villain needs a solid, personal motivation. It doesn’t have to justify their actions, but it should help the reader understand why they’re doing what they’re doing. Are they after power? Revenge? Or maybe they think they’re saving the world in their own twisted way? Give them a goal that feels deeply personal, even if it’s dark.
Make Them More Than Just “Evil”
A one-note villain gets boring fast. Your villain needs to have layers—maybe they’ve got a tragic past, a secret fear, or something they genuinely care about. The more depth you give them, the more interesting they’ll be. Show us the human side of them, even if they try to hide it.
Let Them Be Likeable… In Their Own Way
Even villains need redeeming qualities, something that makes us stick with them. Maybe they’re charming, super clever, or fiercely loyal to someone. We don’t have to agree with them, but giving them qualities we can respect or understand helps the reader stay invested.
Show Their Inner Struggles
Villains aren’t always cold-blooded. They can have moments where they doubt themselves, or hesitate before crossing a line. Letting us in on their internal conflict makes them more human, and gives us a reason to care, even when they’re making terrible choices.
Let Us See the World Through Their Eyes
Show the world from their perspective and let us understand why they think they’re in the right. Even if we disagree, getting inside their head helps us relate to them on some level.
Don’t Feel Like You Need to Make Them Good!
Resist the temptation to redeem your villain at every turn. It’s okay if they stay bad or make morally questionable choices. The appeal of a villain protagonist often comes from their willingness to do things a hero wouldn’t. Let them be ruthless if that’s who they are.
Give Them a Worthy Opponent
Just because your main character is the villain doesn’t mean they shouldn’t face opposition. In fact, they need it more than ever! Whether it’s a classic hero trying to stop them or someone even worse than they are, your villain should have someone challenging them, which keeps the stakes high.
Make the Stakes Personal
Villains usually have something or someone they care about, even if it’s in a twisted way. Maybe they’re trying to protect someone, prove something, or avoid a fate worse than death. Whatever it is, make sure the stakes feel personal and emotional. That way, when they make their big, terrible decisions, we understand why.
Play with Moral Grey Areas
Writing a villain protagonist lets you explore deeper questions of morality. What is “good” or “evil” when seen from their perspective? How far would they go to achieve their goals, and what does that say about them—or us? Use their journey to challenge both your characters and your readers on these themes.

i hate loving you as much as i do
pairing: luka couffaine x gn!reader
summary: left heartbroken by a missunderstanding, you end up getting akumatized. but luka seeks you out and clears up any missunderstandings by confessing his love to you!
tags: angst to fluff, missunderstandings, happy ending, mentions of marinette/lukanette, luka × reader endgame, wholesome fluff
everything would've been different, if luka had been by your side, like he promised. you never would've gotten akumatized if he had been there. luka would've been able to get through to you with his words and save you. but you were all by yourself when that akuma took over your body. and nobody could prevent what was about to happen…
luka couldn't believe his own eyes when he saw you on the ladyblog, as an akumatized villain. he was late to meet you, when he got an akuma alert and checked the news. and that's when he saw you.
without even thinking about it, luka rushed to the spot you were last seen, knowing he needed to talk to you. as much as he trusted chat noir and ladybug, he knew you better than they did. they'd only hurt you by trying to restrain you. but luka was convinced that if he was there, things would be different! but he was wrong…
“you are the worst thing that happened to me, luka. why would you think your words would do anything to convince me to stop this? i despise you! acting like you care about me, just to forget all about me when she wants to see you–!”
your words were cruel and your voice was different than what luka knew. it was much deeper, almost twisted. the akuma had done more than just change your appearance.
but while your words sounded too mean to truly belong to you, something caught luka's attention. that girl you mentioned, that made him forget about you…
“do you mean marinette…?”
“ha, so you do know what i'm talking about! did you grow tired of playing dumb? of course i mean her! you're always with her! and you can't even see how much you hurt me when you're with her…”
luka's heart sunk. he never knew you were this hurt by him spending time with marinette. but there was no reason to be jealous of marinette!
“marinette is just a friend! you're the one i love!”
for a short moment, your facade seemed to crack. that mean glare on your face vanished and you looked genuinely surprised. but quickly, you grew bitter again and a sad expression covered your face, that made luka's heart ache.
“stop giving me hope. it hurts so much more than if you'd just tell me the truth…”
“it's the truth!” luka sighed. “i've been spending a lot of time with marinette recently, but she was just helping me with a song i wrote for you! i wanted it to be perfect before you heard it and i knew she'd keep it a secret…”
“l-liar… y-you… you have to be… lying–!”
you shook your head, tears streaming down your cheeks. you couldn't even look at luka, as you heard hawkmoth's voice in your head, trying to convince you all he said was a lie. that luka merely was afraid of you and wanted to weaken you with his words. but was that really true?
“please, look at me…”
you hadn't even noticed that luka had closed the distance between the two of you, gently placing a hand on your cheeks. as your eyes inevitably darted towards him, luka surprised you with a sudden kiss. and as you gave into the kiss, hawkmoth's control over you weakened…
“if my words couldn't convince you, was this kiss able to do it?”
luka looked at you with such fondness. you had said terrible things to him, had accepted hawkmoth's villainous powers and yet he looked at you with such fondness. as if there was nothing you could say or do that would make him hate you.
“i thought you didn't care about me…”
as those words left your lips, you finally regained control over yourself again. hawkmoth lost all power over you and you detransformed back into yourself, as luka quickly wrapped his arms around you. almost as if he was worried you'd slip away again if he didn't hold you close.
“i'm sorry i couldn't show you just how important you are to me. i should've never kept secrets from you, not even to surprise you. i've hurt you so much… can you forgive me?”
you only began to tear up more at luka's words.
“of course i can forgive you! but i'm the one who should be asking for forgiveness instead…”
“don't.” luka brushed it off with a smile. “there's nothing you need to apologize for. what you said earlier, those weren't your words. i know that you were just trying to push me away, because you were hurt…”
“still!” you insisted. “i'm sorry for what i said. i could never hate you. in fact, i… i love you!”
luka's thumb gently stroked your cheek, as he smiled at you. he slowly closed the distance between you, whispering out four little words, before his lips finally met yours again:
“i love you too…”

Secret Santa 2023
For this year’s secret Santa I got @watercolorfreckles (I know you got mine too, but I promise I used a randomizer!) I’m sorry this is late, I’ve been traveling and just writing every chance I can get. I got a little overambitious and wrote several scenes instead of just one, so hopefully it doesn’t feel choppy and you like it!
"Hero's shy medic is the unsung and unappreciated glue that keeps the team together, magically repairing their every injury with her power to heal. What happens when Villain finds out how the hero's broken bones are always so quickly mending, and kidnaps the medic to utilize himself?"
Henchman was waiting in baggage claim when Villain arrived. His violet-dyed hair, thick mess of scars, and tall stature made him stand out against the crowd, but he still waved his whole arm over his head as Villain came through the doors.
Villain's glove creaked feelingless against his suitcase handle. This was getting tiresome. Probably for Henchman too. It was ridiculous that he insisted on picking him up from the airport every trip instead of looking for a new employer.
"Any luck?" Henchman said, seamlessly transferring Villain's bag into his own hand.
Villain's insides twisted. Maybe he should fire Henchman. That would force the underling to think about himself. Though Villain couldn't deny his reluctance to lose such loyalty. He wasn't sure he actually had the strength to enforce his own abandonment.
"Nah." He rubbed his numb hands together and forced a lighthearted tone. "Just another waste of money. I spent three weeks meditating away the damage, only for the so-called "power guru" to say I don't want to be healed. Apparently, if I did, I would have been able to banish the "bile" from my body."
Henchman gave the suitcase wheels a little bang against the ground. "Morons and scam artists.”
"Yes, well, it was a 50/50 shot in the first place. How's my bird?"
Henchman grimaced. "Still eating very little. She has stopped beating against her cage, but now she's very lethargic and despondent."
"You've tried cheering her up? Good food, nice things?"
"Yes, but she's not very chatty. Maybe we should have waited to get her until after your trip. This would have gone better with...some stability."
The automatic door swooshed open, and they stepped out into the chill winter air. Villain blew out a long cloudy breath and watched it disappear into the dreary, gray city landscape. Everything was so temporary. Here one moment, gone the next.
"The opportunity was too good," he said. "Besides, we couldn't leave her with our friend."
Hero had enough of an advantage without also having a decent healer on his side. No matter how many hits Villain divvied out, the heroic team always got back up unscathed. Perhaps without their golden goose, Villain could actually turn the tide. And maybe... Villain didn't want to get his hopes up, but maybe she could do something more too. He knew that Henchman knew that was the main reason he’d stolen her away in the first place. By this point he was just pretending to himself that there was a bigger purpose behind it all.
The crosswalk sign beeped its permission to cross the street, and Villain scanned the lot for Henchman's car, spotting its orangey paint job near the front.
"I am concerned she's been doing poorly this whole time. Why don't we stop by her enclosure first."
Henchman nodded and very kindly played along with the act that this was truly concern over an asset and not another cowardly excuse for himself. “I don’t think she’ll be very pleased to see you.”
She’s not going to help you.
“That’s alright.” Villain slid into the passenger seat. As Henchman loaded his suitcase into the trunk, he muttered under his breath, “I don’t have much left to lose.”
***
Villain called her Birdie.
Of course he knew her real title as Hero’s medic, but the nickname just encapsulated her so well.
So small. So skittish. Always flitting around the outskirts of a fight, the great folds of her medic’s cloak flapping at her sides like wings as she lighted briefly at each fallen party. The color was supposed to mark her as a noncombatant, take any targets of her back, but she had the instincts to remain wary always. Most villains didn’t follow the rules, and the gray was as likely to get her killed as not.
So why continue to wear it? Villain wondered, watching her through the one way glass of her cell's wall mirror. It was really more of a mini apartment than a cell--sitting room, bedroom, bathroom. The sitting room was the only room Villain could view into, but he doubted whether Medic knew that. Perhaps it was riskier to give a hostage so much blind space, but anyone worth keeping around couldn't be kept like any regular prisoner. Though, from the looks of it, Medic wasn't exactly grateful for the thoughtful accommodations.
She sat with her face buried in her knees, grey cloak nearly swallowing her little curled up body whole. He'd asked Henchman to prepare daily clothes changes, and the peeking green edge of sleeve implied she'd been taking them, but the cloak remained the same.
Villain moved around to the front of the cell and drew back the bolt on the otherwise regular door, taking a breath before swinging it open with a flourish. “Hello, Birdie.”
The woman leaped a little, head shooting up and fixing him in the inky black pools that were her eyes.
“Sorry for the delay." He locked the door behind him as casually as he could manage. "I’ve been out of town. But now we can finally chat."
Medic blinked then turned her chin into her shoulder.
Villain plopped down on the couch a couple feet away from her place on the rug. "Apparently you haven't been eating properly. Is the food not up to standard? Can I get you something else? Any favorite meals or treats?"
Medic didn't turn or respond.
"Hmm...what do birdies like. Worms?"
The healer's lip curled a little but still nothing.
"How about chocolate? Steak? Fruit tarts?"
Medic only tucked her chin tighter.
"Alright, I get it. The nice treatment doesn't work on you. Unfortunately, I don't have a mean treatment. Not for you at least. I can't asks favors from someone by relying on fear."
That got her attention. She still didn't unfold, but her eyes watched him sideways. Wary but curious. What could a villain need from a healer. He must have his own, so why her? She didn't need to speak for her thoughts to clutter the air.
"No, I can't just tell you," Villain said with a loud sigh. "You might go tell that precious hero team. I know you're quiet, but I don't believe for a second you're that quiet."
Medic swiveled her shoulders ever so slightly. "How...?"
Her voice was not so birdlike. Short yes, but like a rasped breath than a chirp. Still...
Villain grinned. "The very best of ways: by pretending I knew what you were thinking. Throw out a guess and you'll be right 80% percent of the time. That's also a guess by the way, I haven't actually researched the subject."
Medic retreated back into her cloak.
Darn.
Either he was totally unhumorous, or Medic was just that hard to entertain. Then again, she'd seemed interested by the prospect of a supernatural ability. She'd only clammed up again once she got the simple explanation for her question. She should've already known his Gift from the fights she'd witnessed, though he had held bad considerably this last year.
"You're not like other medics," he said, redirecting the conversation. "You have a Gift, don't you? And don't deny it, I've seen the recovery your patients. Scarless, rapid, perfect. One fight I saw a hero putting full weight on what, minutes previously, had been broken femur."
"And that's why you want me?" Medic squeezed her hands together, nails digging into the back of her knuckles like each word spoken aloud pained her. "Because I'm better than your medics? You want me to turncoat?"
"Not entirely. I took you because your good, yes. So good you've kept that ragtag trash hero team up and running way longer than it should have ever been allowed to go. Hero needs to be stopped."
Nothing.
"I'm going to the statue unveiling tonight." He watched her face closely. "I'm going to break it. And while I'm at it, break him."
"He's not that fragile," Medic said, her voice hushing a little further, and her brow furrowing.
"Ah, you know because you've tried?"
"I know because I' m his medic and I know how much treatment each fight requires." It came out quite a bit snappier than Villain expected and Medic must have realized it too because she set her jaw and looked away again. "I can't help you."
Villain pushed himself back to his feet. The declaration was firm, but hardly the denial of a truly devoted team member. Or maybe he was just reading to hard into things. Medic was shy. Maybe she wanted to make herself clear in as few words as possible. But if there was a chance only her fear was holding her back...
"I'll let you know how it goes," Villain said. With that, he made his way back outside the cell, bolting the door behind him with fumbling fingers. He flexed his hands a couple times, as if to warm them back to full function, but they felt as clumsy and disconnected as always. He shoved them gloved into his coat pockets.
Don't think about that. You have a hero to fight.
***
Villain couldn't feel his shoulders. He'd definitely overdone it. He'd overestimated his ability to fight with his arms as damaged as they were and he had relied too much on the power he'd been so careful to conserve.
He stumbled hard against Medic's door, sliding weakly to his knees. He didn't know why he came here. Henchman was probably having a fit searching for him after he'd bolted. Most of those heroes laid in shattered pieces at the scene. Or at least, parts of them did. Villain had found long ago that his Gift--the power to turn whatever he willed to stone--could be used strategically. The loss of limbs was usually enough to make a hero retire, no need to end a whole life. He wouldn't have minded ending Hero, but once again, the leader was the only one who escaped unscathed. Too this day Villain had only ever managed to take a pinky. It was a wonder no one found that suspicious.
Villain slammed his fist against the cell door, or more like tapped. He stifled a sob. “I don’t want to die.”
Not yet. Not without bringing down Hero’s deceit.
Villain strained to reach the bolt, fumbling it twice before finally jostling it outward. He practically collapsed onto Medic’s rug.
Dark spots clouded his vision but suddenly cool hands were running trails down his face.
“Villain?”
Medic?
No wait, the door…he needed to close…why was she still here?
“Uuughh…” Villain rolled into her knees. “It did not go well.”
“What did he do?”
“Besides use every other person as a shield?”
“I mean to your face.”
Villain squinted up into Medic’s dark eyes, so deep and concerned and…and infinite.
“My face,” he mumbled.
“Are these bruises?” Her fingers trailed a second time down his cheek. “It looks painful.”
“It’s in my face?” Villain barely restrained a wail.
“Villain,” Medic said firmly, her quiet rasp getting almost loud. “What happened? Do you need healing?”
Villain’s throat felt thick and swollen, too sticky to get out words. Of course he needed healing. But if she couldn’t help him…he didn’t know if he could take another failure. He didn’t know if his body could take it.
He extended his hand. When Medic only stared, he nodded at the black, fitted glove.
Medic’s thumb worked under the edge. Villain felt nothing but he imagined her fingers felt just as gentle as they had on his cheek.
She gasped.
Villain glanced at the bare skin for only a moment. The once caramel colored palm now a deep ebony. Like something rotten. Like something dead.
“Villain?”
Villain cleared his throat, fighting the words upward. “All powers have a price.” He forced himself to look at blighted appendage. “Mine’s is killing me.”
Medic turned his hand over in her own. “How long?”
“Always. It used to just be a little. Nails. Hair. Parts I could cut off. Then it hit skin…and it won’t stop. I can’t feel; I can hardly move. And no one…” He choked. “I’m going to die. All from trying too hard to rid the world of Hero, and I couldn’t even finish him tonight.”
Medic rested her fingers on the cuff of Villain’s sleeve, eyes meeting Villain's with some unspoken request for permission.
Villain nodded.
Medic's nimble fingers gently picked at the button, freeing the fabric and rolling it up to his elbow. Villain’s eyes widened along with hers. What had once had been dark veins was now as pitch black his hands. From the nothingness in his shoulders it was probably no different above the elbow.
Medic felt gently at the half-petrifaction. Most people, even his most loyal were afraid of the blight. Henchman was unfazed, but the previous medic had quit rather than admit they didn't want anywhere near Villain. And yet Medic touched him willingly.
“You can’t fix it, can you?” Villain said, practically plead. He didn’t care anymore. Even with the doubt in his gut and in his voice. He just needed help.
“I…I might…” Medic said.
“But Hero wouldn’t like it.”
Medic ducked her head. “It’s not that. Well, no…you’re right, he wouldn’t, but he wouldn’t have to know. And there are no specific rules that say I can’t heal a villain, it’s just…”
Villain blinked groggily up at her as she chewed her bottom lip.
“Like you said, all powers have a price.”
“And this one is too much,” Villain said.
“Yes, well, no. I don’t know.” She glanced toward the open door. “Maybe there’s a better healer…”
Villain closed his eyes, practically sinking with resignation. “No. Already tried. I don’t think I have the energy to search anymore.” He clasped numb fingers around his numb arm. “Or the time.”
A long silence stretched between them.
“It’s alright, Birdie. Fly away.”
It didn’t matter who she told now.
Medic pushed him carefully off her lap, clothes rustling as she rose. Two steps sounded toward the door way and then stopped.
“I’m not supposed to…but I’ll do it.”
Villains eyes shot open. “You will?”
Medic sucked in her lips but nodded. “Just…don’t tell.”
She knelt beside him, long gray cloak fanning out around her. The second glove peeled off easier than the first, and she held both hands in hers.
He’d always wondered what it felt it like to experience one of her gifted healings.
It was warm. Like drinking something hot. It spread from head to toe, and the numbness leeched out little by little. The skin lightened from black to charcoal from charcoal to heather grey from grey to brown.
Medic’s hands turned soft in his grip. He squeezed them lightly, his mouth parting in disbelief at the feeling of pressure of warmth of regular mobility. When he sat up, it came easy. Tears sprang to his eyes.
“You did it! You actually did it! Medic, you are—“
He stopped at the sight of her slumping figure. Sweat rolled down her temples, her face was flushed, and her teeth were grit as if in agony.
“Birdie?”
Medic only shivered.
“Birdie. Birdie, are you alright?”
Villain reached out, but she lurched back, stumbling toward the back corner. Veiny blackness spread from her fingertips, trailing up the creases in her skin. Her shoulders trembled. A small vein popped out of from her forehead. And she glared at the blight. Not like someone afraid of it, but like someone who’d like to peel it off and throw it away. Or burn it.
“No!” she cried and slammed both palms against the wall mirror with a feral cry. Immediately the glass crackled and, like a rolling wave, turned to cold, hard stone.
The black faded from dark ebony to a tan spot only
A few shades darker than her skin. She still glared.
Villain gaped. “You… That’s what I do. How did you do what I do? Did I…? Did you…?”
Medic’s eyes darted toward the door.
Villain jumped in front of it first. “Hey hey hey! I’m not going to tell!”
Another guess but apparently the right one because Medic’s shouldered untensed a fraction.
“I’m not going to tell,” Villain repeated. “I just… How?”
Medic wrapped her cloak tighter around herself. Her eyes had taken on a glazed shine suspiciously alike to unshed tears.
“It’s not exactly healing,” she murmured. “More like stealing. Taking injuries and making them mine.”
“The price.”
She nodded. “But this sort of injury…made from a Gift, it doesn’t work the same. It’s more like a build up of power concentrated in one place. And now that it’s mine…I can do what I like with it.”
Villain cocked his head. “And that’s…bad?”
“I don’t work for Hero,” Medic said. “I’m on the team because he’s supposed to watch me. Stop me from doing things like this.”
“Becoming too powerful?”
“Becoming a villain.”
Villain might have laughed if she didn’t actually look so scared. He took her hands carefully, savoring the sensation of skin on skin warmth once again. He fixed her with a hard stare that she seemed uncertain to hold or shy away from. He smiled, the first real one in a long time.
“What’s wrong with villains?”
Medic swallowed, looking away but not pulling back her hands. Her voice came out very quiet. “I guess…not everything.”
#villain x medic#villain x civilian#hero x villain#heroes and villains#creative writing#writblr#writeblr#secret santa#agggh I couldn’t figure out how to end it#and I’ve been in a bit of a block#so it was a bit tough#but ah well#it was a fun premise to explore!

MHA 2.24 - Katsuki Bakugo: Origin -part 3
Let's see where we left off on this episode of My Hero, oh yeah, our protag is getting pretzeled after being thrown bodily into a bus by Japanese Superman.
All Mights hand is bigger than Bakugo's whole head, I'm crying. I would also like All Might to break me, but not the way Bakugo is talking about.
It is dawning on Big Buff how bananas this kid's drive is. I can't help but admire it a bit. But Bakugo, please don't twist yourself, we already have Deku laying on the ground looking like a twizzler.
He's gone feral. Never have the Pomeranian comparisons of Bakugo been more accurate than now. Hope he got his rabies shot.
Careful Deku, being this polite is going to make people think you're Canadian. Maybe THAT's the secret reveal about his Dad. New theory: Deku's Dad is Canadian.
He respects All Might so much, he has to keep his manners even when he hits him, what a sweetie.
Jeez, these two are as bad as each other, haha. All Might is all, "I am so proud of my son for hitting me with the power of a speeding train."
They did it! They won! Whoooooo, it's a miracle! The question is, will they take the teamwork from this exam and keep it up in the future?
I have figured out why All Might gets so much death flag foreshadowing. It's because Recovery Girl is going to kill him.
And as poor Deku is laying booty up in the nurse's office, faraway in a random rundown bar, a lotion-less villain is...gazing at a wallet sized picture of him. Is he keeping that in his back pocket? Purple Haze is managing to look judgy even though he doesn't have a face.
Finally, I get to meet some of the new villains that were teased before, and what an introduction it is. The guy with the Frankenstein face is here saying "Hey Uggo, can I join your club?" GOLD.
What a cutie! I am curious what has motivated a teen girl to become a villain. But I remember more villains being teased, and I want to meet all of them, gimmie!
Episode 25 is here

evil swk only it's him finally fed up with everyone hurting mk so he kills the latest villain of the week and takes the powers of the Jade Emperor for his own thus: Monster (epic)
oops, hands slipped!
He meets MK on accident. Sun Wukong does not make it his ordeal to wander where mortals are near, but sometimes needs must. his little Suns have chosen to pester him about this specific brand of chips (how they ever got their hands on a bag of chips in the first place is a mystery of itself), so after hours of twisting his arm, Wukong obeyed their pleading cries and whines.
the accident came when Wukong found himself run over by a meager delivery cart. the boy, probably only two decades old, hopped off his death kart immediately, apologies spilling from his lips while Wukong debated throwing his disguise down the gutter and raising this whole block to the ground.
“—you have to understand! The Megapolis Grand Prix has a grand prize of an immortal peach and I thought I could both race and deliver, you know, kill two birds with one stone and all that but—“
“I don’t really care, kid.”
The mortal was quick to shut his mouth and nodded. Another apology was thrown out while Wukong dusted off the spare dirt from his clothes, and he was pretty sure the mortal made sure to follow him back to the safety of the sidewalk. It was a little overbearing, but Wukong was trying to keep a low profile for the sake of a stupid bag of chips. He would rather not bring Heaven or any other celestial’s attention to himself.
The things he did for his monkeys.
-
He met MK again on New Years. Again, his little Suns sent his out for a task— apparently, some idiot decided to teach them what noodles were and Wuking spent months suffering while they bemoaned and cried about it.
There was a plaza full of food trucks, so Wukong figured he’d find noodles over there somehow.
“Oh! It’s you!”
Wukong was startled by the smile, how it spread wide, so easily like a trained soldier (except soldiers were more fixed and lacked the warmth this smile gave). The mortal stood behind one of the windows of a truck, apron tied around him.
Wukong grunted put a hello.
“Can I get you anything?”
“Eight helpings of noodles.”
“Wow, that’s quite the haul! Got a party or something?”
“More like a family of rascals.”
The mortal laughed, quickly writing down the order before placing somewhere near the kitchen. There followed some indignant shouting about the order while the mortal— MK, the cool called him MK— placated and answered all the cook’s questions.
“It’ll be ready in an hour? Maybe longer.”
-
The third time, he found MK through his monkeys. A mortal, they had chirped at him, a mortal on the beach! Color him surprised when it was his mortal he found. How he got past the volcanic mountains was something he figured MK would tell him when he woke up.
And, boy, did he ever.
MK told Wukong of his old sworn brother, the Demon Bull King, and the would-be Spider Queen. Two demons who found it in their heads that Megapolis was their city, and neither were keen on sharing. And both seemed to believe that their solution was a secret weapon hidden in Wukong’s vault.
“And we thought— my friends and I— that if we found it first, then they wouldn’t be able to.”
It was a hilarious story. One Wukong made sure to laugh at in MK’s face. Because really, why would either demon think they had the balls to invade his island?
“I’m serious! We need to find it now or else they’ll—“
“Tell me, MK,” Wukong spoke, keeping a bright smile on his face. It was different from the ones MK would share. Less genuine and more senile. “How much do you truly know about me?”
Finding the terror in the mortal’s eyes shouldn’t have been endearing, but Wukong would argue that after receiving plenty, he was open to judge them all. While MK was slow on the uptake on who he was talking to, he was a quick learner in figuring out just how dangerous Wukong could be.
In the end, neither of the demons stepped foot on his island. And if he had to twist their arms a little to ensure there would be no future attempts of them sneaking in, that was between Wukong and them. The fact that a little delivery boy was included in that clause was neither here nor there.
-
The fourth time was when Azure made his appearance on Wukong’s island, smiling and laughing as if none of the past millennia had ever happened. Wukong played a good host to his old brother even while his skin crawled and his little Suns whined. But that all came to pause when out of Azure’s scroll came MK and more of his old brothers.
“So you used him,” he asked, eyes closely watching the mortal shake and tremble (he was mumbling something too but Azure was speaking too loudly).
“We needed someone on the inside in order to retrieve the rest of our brothers. With all of us here and reunited, we can finally put Heaven in their place!”
Wukong tilted his head. “What of the Bull King?”
He watched MK flinch when Azure scoffed, the mortal clutching his robes tighter. He was still in shock, but it would not last long. The new buzz of magic told him as much.
“He has forsaken the cause.” There seemed to be more but MK finally cracked.
“You said we’d free my friends.”
Wukong raised a brow, watching Azure’s careful sigh and friendly smile.
“And we will, but there is something I must do first. You have to understand?”
MK shook his head. “You promised. I’d go in the scroll and free my friends. You said you’d help me—“
“And I will, MK.”
“No you won’t.”
All eyes faced Wukong. He saw as Peng rolled their eyes, ever the dramatic one, but Wukong chose to ignore him.
“Azure is too set on his goal of overthrowing the Emperor that no other task will matter until that endeavor is complete.”
“And we will complete it. Wukong, you are not one to be so glum.”
“A lot has changed.”
“So much that you would turn your back once more to us?”
Wukong watched as MK’s eyes pleaded at him.
“I would.”
-
Given that he was the last one in possession of the missing memory scroll, the Diyu was quick to point their fingers on Wukong and claim MK as his accomplice. How they came to that conclusion was, quite frankly, insane and stupid of them. Wukong told them as much while they placed him on trial.
“And yet there is no other living soul we can find.”
“Well, duh,” he sniffed, keeping MK behind him at all costs, “I killed them all.”
“So you could have it for yourself?”
“Because they threatened my subjects.”
This one king was starting to get on his nerves. All his questions seemed posed to specifically point all attention on MK and Wukong refused to bring any attention to him. He’s not blind, there was obviously something mystical with the mortal. What exactly, he wasn’t sure. He could just hear Macaque lecturing him about it. As if that shadow monkey knew anything! He just spent most of his time trying to steal the attention of Wukong’s subjects like the asshole he was!
“And so why was this mortal involved?”
Again, the same king. He was a strange one, his magic not exactly the same as the others. Wukong was not liking the look of him.
And it turned out his instincts were right. As the trial continued and he asked more questions, the King began to call MK the harbinger, a title MK seemed to recognize and freeze at.
But in the end, none of their words held any good defense. Not that Wukong expected anything different. In fact, he was excited for it. Both the Diyu and Heaven have dreamed of shackling him down once again ever since his first havoc. So, when the chains came to shackle MK as well, Wukong felt he was excused enough to start a little mayhem.
Or a lot.
Actually, a lot, a lot.
It was only a pleasant occurance that Heaven chose to bring Wukong up to their realm and place him before the Emperor. And if said Emperor threatened to erase MK out of punishment of Wukong’s behavior?
Well.
Who is to say that Wukong is not excused from cutting that old goat down to size?

If the Drac Fam got corrupted by Bendy's Ink:
Dracula: Bendy or Tom-like Boris.
I know there's a thing about Jewish characters and horns/Devil imagery, but personality and Aesthetic-wise Drac has ALOT in common with Bendy/The Ink Demon: Tall, thin, associated with darkness and the color black, wrongfully seen as nothing but dangerous murderous beast, a signature toothy smile, kind of a butt monkey, both having been persecuted by humans, both have a mischievious streak, vampires being thought of as soulless demons, try to act tougher and scarier than they are etc. (Plus, there are alot of Jewish coded characters here sorted as things without horns and goyish characters WITH horns.) However, Drac also has alot in common with Tom too: a loveable wolfy damaged grump who's suspicious of strangers. However, I DO have 3 other Borises.
Bonus: He also has some similarities to a more competent, good-leaning Joey Drew as well, who at least one point was thought to be the soul at the heart of Bendy/The Ink Demon.
Ericka: ALICE ANGEL. Specifically, Twisted Alice.
Ok, this one's probably one of the clearest of the lot. Not only does Ericka ALREADY have a strong Fleisher vibe, but she has the duality of angelic charm, friendliness, cheeriness and elegance with a feral murderous and mischievious gremlin side and somewhat unhinged dramaticism. She's unconventionally attractive, knows it, and is more than willing to use this to her advantage - and is something of a soft dom in the bargain who loves to toy with people's heads even if it's not malicious. She also has Allison Angel's athleticism, pragmaticism, and optimism and has a similar taste in love interests. XD She also, like both Alice's, never had parents and delt with abuse/neglect in some ways by their "creators."
Mavis: Alice Angel or Audrey
Mavis has a similar optimism and relative sanity to both Allison and Audrey, and seems to serve very similar roles for Drac that they did for Henry and Audrey: the hopeful innocent that serves as something of a moral compass to the more damaged morally grey Drac. She also has a similar nievite to Audrey and a similar mischievious streak and emotionality, but lacks Audrey's dryness and trauma. Like both Audrey and Allison, Mavis didn't grow up with a mother and was favored by her "father" and is oddly chill with weirdness. Not to mention: Glowing eyes, zipping around, and the ability to drain her enemies and oddly unsettling/secret badass power despite her friendly nature.
Johnny: BORIS
Loves food, a cheerful-yet-easily-scared good boi, oddly chill with weirdness, loyal as bleep, clashes with his opposite Drac but genuinely likes him as a friend/father-in-law, a surprisingly brave risk taker despite being the least powerful and scary of the group, loves dancing and plays an instrument, something of a slacker, possible Jewish coding... it's perfect.
Dennis: Also Boris.
Taking more after his father and nearly ending up humany, the shy quiet and sensitive yet adorably loveable Dennis strikes me as another Boris. Lile Buddy, both he and Johnny are also chronologically 2 of the youngest here and are both Jewish coded.
Abraham: Bendy, Alice, Dudley, or Bertrum
Dunno if this is a bit on the nose, but him ending up as something with horns would be hilariously appropriate. Bendy kinda comes from his horns and his status as Drac's rival and evil counterpart, Alice is because of his thought he was doing something good for humanity, Dudley for his mechanical aspects, sea association, and similarity in personality and motive to Wilson. And Bertrum...well, he is mostly head and machine XD
Vlad: BENDY
A surprisingly easy one, but with his mischievious/scary somewhat irresponsible nature and secret soft side, not to mention technical villain status for a bit there, I feel Bendy works pretty well for him.
Simon: Boris or Swollen Searcher
I mainly see Simon as a Boris, perhaps with something of a Brute Boris bent. He's a big strong guy and secretly quite dangerous, but most of the time he's a shy sweetheart. He's much like a tougher, more pragmatic and less sheltered version of Dennis. However, his large size also works well for Swollen Searchers.
Lucy: Bendy, Alice, or in @lovelylivelyv 's AU: Jack Nephalem
Being Ericka and Drac's daughter, Lucy has aspects of both Bendy and Alice. She's a mischievious chaos gremlin who takes pride in her monstrosity and power, but is also charming and elegant and generally both braver and not as ruthless as her parents and something of a rebel. Kind of similar in personality and concept to @lovelylivelyv 's chaotic good Bent Halos ship child oc Jack Nephalem - who in Original canon, was an unused character born from the ink machine and the soul of Wally Franks. In canon, Lucy would probably be closest to Bendy, but I like the idea of the mischievious Dhampirica being a Jack in the universe this is possible.

Spiderdemon AU Characters
I figured it would be easier if I made a list of all the character roles for Spiderdemon with the Inky Mystery characters. Might be the best way to avoid making things confusing, and in case people have questions then this can hopefully help.
I'm mostly sticking with spiderman characters, because if I included ALL marvel characters I might lose my marbles. (though Felix would be a cool Iron Man.)
Now then, lets get started.
-First of all, The Devil is the Green Goblin. He'd just be called The Devil when out terrorizing people in his villain suit, while he's known as Lucifer, a rich business owner and a powerful figure in Toon Town.
-Dice is Kingpin. Handling the shady business so his boss can keep a good public image.
-Cuphead and Mugman both share the role similar to the Prowler. Though Cuphead goes by Red Diamond and Mugman Blue Spade. Both of them dress as how they dress in Inky Mystery when out working, but they both wear hoods to cover their heads, and smiling masks that look like their cartoon version faces. Adding a creepy twist when they're out on the job.
Both of them use guns. mostly special guns that fire unique and different bullets.
Cuphead, though, has a unique trick.
He has a mechanical arm. He keeps the fact hidden, and wears a special cover over said arm so people don't notice his arm isn't flesh when he's out as a civilian. When out on the field, it doubles as a backup gun.
Though when he got the arm, he wasn't told about a certain SURPRISE that was in the damn thing. Cuphead didn't exactly like said surprise for many reasons in the beginning.
While both Cupbros share the role of Prowler, only Cuphead has this role.
He's also Venom.
It was NOT pretty in the beginning. Cuphead was scared out of his mind when Venom first bonded with his body.
It was a rough time adjusting to it, but by the time Bendy becomes more serious with the hero thing, Cuphead and Venom would have great team work together and be damn good at the jobs they have to do.
Doesn't mean they always get along.
Venom: LET ME EAT HIM.
Cuphead: No. Get over it.
Venom: HE ATE THE LAST OF THE TATER TOTS! LET ME EAT HIM!
Cuphead: I'm not letting you eat my brother over cussing potatoes you big baby!
Mugman overheard that and promised to buy more later to calm Venom down. (Venom wouldn't actually eat Mugman, he just won't admit he's emotionally attached.)
-Holly would have the role of Mary Jane. Curious about Spiderdemon while being friends with Bendy during highschool and probably has a blog reporting all the good things Spiderdemon does. Since she's a couple years older though, before she goes to college, she tells Bendy he better not get himself killed until he can answer all her questions about his powers.
Bendy groaned over how he got busted and he thought he was doing a good job hiding his identity from his friend.
After being busted by her, Holly helps out with whatever she can so Bendy can be more prepared to save the day. Like doing research on criminal organizations or people running from the law, so Bendy can have a better idea on what to expect.
-Oddswell would be The Lizard in this AU. Bendy as Spiderdemon went to him in the beginning for medical help when he'd get hurt in battles, but then things happened that made Oddswell turn into a mutant gecko monster.
He was also Bendy's primary doctor when he was sick and dying in the hospital before getting spider powers. He thought it was suspicious that Bendy healed so fast when his chances were extremely slim. He did tests on Bendy and found some, interesting, things. He suspected Wilson had something to do with it with how quickly he left the hospital after his last visit.
But considering how Wilson was a good friend of his, Oddswell kept quiet, and kept those test results on Bendy secret for his safety knowing if word got out, Bendy would get a lot of unpleasant attention.
-Alice would be Doc Oc, but instead of extra robotic tentacles, they'd be large robotic and deadly angel wings. She'd be known as Dr. Angel.
She ended up working for the same people that made the spider Wilson stole. Hoping to help people find a way to improve medical aid. Volunteering to do whatever it took to benefit mankind.
She doesn't realize until too late that she's being used by people who will do more harm than good. Not until robotic angel wings are fused to her body that can't be taken off.
It makes her resent Spiderdemon in the beginning. How this happened to her because he got his powers from the spider that was stolen, and now the people she works for will go to any length to get him.
- Oswald is a retired version of Black Cat, but used to go by Lucky Rabbit.
He got mixed up in a life of crime when he was going through things at a younger age, stealing to sell for profit. But then when he realized that wasn't what he wanted to do with his life, he put that all behind him, married Ortensia, and started a family with her before she passed.
Lucky Rabbit has a bit of a history with Felix. Since in this AU Felix still finds old relics that can be worth a fortune, when he was young and was starting his career, Lucky Rabbit stole an artifact Felix was hoping would help people.
At that point Oswald would be a bit smug over his skills, returning to the scene of the crime as a civilian and blend in with the spectators. who are there watching reporters covering what happened as police study the crime scene, looking baffled over how there's barely any clues.
But as he's leaving, he overhears something in another room, and takes a peak. Finding Wilson comforting Felix who's devastated over how Lucky Rabbit stole the artifact and is blaming himself for letting so many people down.
That's the first time Oswald starts feeling guilty and questioning what he's doing.
- Cala takes the role of Sandman. Though she'd be called Sand Gorgon.
Before she got her powers, she used to use a wheelchair. But when she got the power to manipulate sand, she used her powers to wrap a layer of sand around her legs to help her stand up and walk.
When using her powers to fight, her entire lower body is covered in sand, making it look like she has a tail instead of legs.
And water isn't a huge weakness for her. In fact she can manipulate sand underwater to help her swim at incredible speed.
She's also known for using her powers to trap enemies in sand, and make the sand harden together until it becomes stone. Practically turning people into stone statues.
-Lady Facilier takes the role of Kraven the Hunter. She uses Voodoo to hunt people she finds useful to her or is paid VERY well to kill someone.
-Brute takes the role of Rhino, though instead of a crazy dangerous rhino armor suit, Brute dresses in a deadly wolf armor suit. Calls himself Wolf.
-Fanny takes the role of Electro, calling herself Electric Cotton. She used to do crime with Oswald when he was Lucky Rabbit, but when he gave that up, Fanny made some choices that left her in a less than ideal lifestyle.
She's now stuck as a medic for Dice and Devil's employees/minions and occasionally has to do dirty work.
She's the only medic Cuphead and Mugman trust at least.
Brute also doesn’t lay a finger on her in this AU, because he knows she’ll FRY HIM. Doesn’t stop him from being a POS partner though.
-Sarah is Mysterio in this au. She calls herself Nightmare because she can use her illusions to make people's worst nightmares and trap them in a personal hell.
There are rumors about her that she's a lot older than she looks, because all people see when they look at her is an unsettling little girl. No one dares to try confirming that though.
-Pete’s Jay Jonah Jameson. Working on the news station and calling Spiderdemon a menace.
Bendy usually ignores it, but when he's feeling petty, some of his black webbing hits Pete’s office window or car at the news station when fighting a villain.
Boris later watches Pete on tv yelling about spider demon's terrible aim.
Boris: ... You did that purpose, didn't you?
Bendy: Nooooo.
Boris: Bendy you hit his car 5 times with webs while every other car in that lot was clean!
Bendy: Not my fault the badguy was near his car 5 times.
Bendy does however have to talk Boris out of hacking Pete’s phone to mess with him and his script he worked on for the news channel. He doesn’t want him getting caught and arrested for a prank.
-Granny is Bendy and Boris’ sweet little elderly neighbor. They help out sometimes and keep her company. She used to watch the boys for Felix whenever he’s out of town for a few days until Bendy was old enough, and healthy enough, to watch Boris by himself. She still cooks for the family of three sometimes and is dubbed their honorary grandmother.
Though she scares the daylights out of Bendy when he’s out as Spiderdemon and sees Granny hitting a badguy with her cane if she’s there when he’s fighting. He quickly gets her out of there before the badguy gets over their shock and puts her somewhere safe.
Bendy: Ma’am, you’re the coolest elderly lady ever, but PLEASE never do that again.
Granny: Oh like I’m going to let some bully beat up a helpful young man such as yourself. *pats his face sweetly* Kick his butt dear.
and that's all I got for the characters in this AU. I might come up with more character roles down the line, but for now, this is it.
Hope you all enjoy!! :)

THE FUCKING THING I PROMISE IS TODAY/ MEET UR NEW RECRUITER VILLAIN MFS!!!
@adrianasunderworld @mangacupcake @writing-heiress @the-weirdos-mind @skboba-stars @nproduction626 @rose-tea-and-strawberries @anxious-twisted-vampire
The Newest Foe is an Old Face!
It was another bickering day, the villains seething and ranting about the maidens new success to stopping them. They were all ranting, their voices were like poison and knives. Even the Queen of all screaming had to cover her ‘delicate’ ears. Every villain was yelling at each other, taunting with one failed plan towards another. It was like a every day roulette, except all the chambers were full and everyone is shooting each other with verbal outrage and violence.
Soon, the god of deaths chirped up. “I swear, to the gods. Don’t we all have one secret weapon?!” He shouted, as his flames burn to a bright glowing red. In the room they were all gathered, everyone little henchmen and recruiters were there. (And also the queen tiny king, he is also there. Please acknowledge him.)
And everyone was at the sidelines, listening and trying to improve. But suddenly, one of them spoke. It was Imira, one who isn’t afraid to speak her mind so freely without a care in the world. The same girl who roast her leader and everyone, beside the beautiful queen and Maleficent, and admit she somewhat plans to betray them, spoke out. “What about Heartslabyul only living prisoner?” She replied. Then all the card soldiers, even the Queen of Hearts, went pale and quiet. As Deuce turn to the tall girl with a look of fear and confusion, “what? There is no one! All the men who treason our queen is always beheaded!” In a heated voice. The girl smirked to this, “my my~ you’re sooo worked up over this one?” She jeered, crossing her arm to pose a taunting physic to the blue hair.
“Something tells me…. Heartslabyul been holding back on us….” She spoke in a cold voice, glaring at the boy as Deuce eyes widen and stood down. Kneeling as he does for the queens. All the villains grew quiet, “no way…. There is one guy you haven’t beheaded?!” Shouted Scar, without defending it. She sighs. “Yes…. Sadly so…. He is only alive for his…. Unique magic….” As she got up and guide everyone back to her beautiful roses kingdom, all while carrying her tiny king around(he got tiny legs. Someone has to hold him).
And to the darkest and lowest parts of the dungeon, they see a closed locked door. And could hear eerie soft giggling that grew louder and louder. As the queen glance to Trey, nodding to him as Trey nods in confirmation as he opened the door. Revealing a young man. Sitting so calmly on the floor with box that cage his whole hands.
The boy lifted his head, from his hysterics as he eyes the villains. “Huh….. hahahahaa….. oh boy…. Am I finally being remembered again?” He asked in a apathetic voice.
“Remembered?” Spoke Maleficent. As the Rose Queen spoke, “this is Trix Jestor. He was my jester. Until. He done treason with his magic towards me. And so. He is locked up here. And his punishment. Was to be forgotten.” She spoke, as this made Trix howl in laughter. “And I regret nu’thin! Shoulda enjoyed it longer!” He laughed and giggled like someone gone mad. “Been locked up while you lots played around! And no one felt so guilty about it!” He laughed, as if he finds his own punishment a whole joke. He is the queen jester. He finds anything amusing and hilarious. “His powers is to make people forget and returning their lost memories from him.”
“Wait…. You had this guy, erase our memories, locked him up, but keep him alive without our acknowledgement?!” Shouted Jafar. As the Queen glared at him, “his powers is what left me to keep him alive.” She glance to Ace. Nodding to him as she knew what to do. As Ace nodded, going to Trix and unlocking the cages and freeing Trix hands. As Trix does so, he grabbed Ace spare deck of cards and threw the cards, but they all curve to the right. Hitting everyone heads yet phase through. It was then everyone remembers. Remembered the poor boy whole life. And it was tragic no one felt bothered to remember him. As Trix stood up, he stretched his arms.
“Soo…. My majesty… hehehe….” He quietly giggle.
Raising his head, to reveal his eyes glowing a bright somber bloody red of crimson. “What do I owe the pleasure to serve for today?” He smirked. To be summoned again. Is his broken wish.

WIP INTRO - BRIAR AND THE BASTARDS
[This post itself is a WIP]
There are no humans in Shadows Edge. Briar would know - she was human once.
Series title: Briar and the Bastards
Genre: omegaverse/urban fantasy/villain romance
Aesthetic: Halloweencore
Setting: The otherworldly city of Shadows Edge, where the monsters live
Spice Level: VERY HIGH, borderline erotica
On the outskirts the sun rises and sets like always. But the deeper into the city you go, the darker it gets, and stays. A creepy otherworld of flickering lights and malicious grins, dark streets and darker hearts, where the sun never rises and it’s always like midnight on Halloween...
Briar Wardwell and her mentor, Hemlock, live on the outskirts of Shadows Edge, along with three cats by a patch of wild pumpkins. Briar is a witch, Hemlock, a Reaper. They're both Omegas. Omegas have no powers, the weakest of the three types of [monsters], while Betas have "lesser" powers, and Alphas with "greater" powers.
As a former human, Briar never had powers to begin with. Hemlock's powers were sealed away in retaliation when he rescued Briar from an Alpha Reaper.
The town views them as troublemakers and they wear that title with pride. Even if it gets them unwanted attention from various overpowered jerks throughout the city.
The three Alpha love interests:
Alistair Rune: an influencer and musician, sharp tongued and witty, a rough and ready vampire with a knife kink
"Kindred" Jackson: Head of the City Guard, a strict, athletic and dark humored werewolf with connections that run all through the city
Nix the Necromancer: Rebel and troublemaker, a cocky poltergeist who carries around his own floating skull on a chain. "I was human, once. Then I got better."
They're all smug bastards who enjoy messing with Briar, all with different reasons to do so. Alistair claims to dislike former humans; Kindred wants to teach her a lesson because of her pranks; Nix just thinks she's fun.
They have no idea the others are involved with her. Briar, for her part, intentionally antagonizes them, causing problems on purpose, defiant towards them even in the bedroom, where they often end up.
[The big secret/twist is Briar is a brat unconsciously looking for a brat tamer - and the love interests/villains are just what she doesn't know she's wanting. The reader will probably figure it out before her.]
Tone of the series: uncertain. could be comedic. could be dark. could be both - Halloween itself is, after all.

What I Watched This Fortnight – 9/17- 9/30
Space Adventure Cobra – RetroCrush added this to their streaming catalog just as everyone was posting their remembrances after the mangaka passed away, so I figured I should probably see what it was about. What I got was a interstellar romp featuring a blond-haired frat boy with a gun-arm and a smorgasbord of comic book villains and nearly naked women that entertained me despite my better judgement. It’s directed by Osamu Dezaki, with all the pastel freeze frames and three pans he was known for, and still looks pretty darn good for a 40-year-old anime. If you’re ever in the mood for a turn-your-brain-off sort of adventure peppered with smugly delivered one-liners, this should deliver the goods. 7/10
Project Blue Earth SOS – I found this one night while randomly poking around Crunchyroll’s library, and it’s a nice little retro-futuristic sci-fi that’s much better than its MAL score lets on. It’s set around the year 2000 in an alternate timeline Earth where humanity has developed powerful engines that allow for near-light speed travel, leading them to be targeted by an alien civilization bent on subjugating the planet. Rising up in opposition are two brilliant teenagers, one the son of the manufacturer of the powerful engines, and the other the son of astronauts killed in a space disaster years earlier, who work together with a quasi-governmental secret agency to drive them away. The art style is vibrant and colorful with a delightfully 1950s ray gun sci-fi vibe, and the story had lots of twists and turns and revelations straight out of a midcentury B-movie. 7/10
Initial D: Extra Stage – This two-episode OVA follows the driver of the blue Sileighty from Usui Pass as she faces down a challenge on the road and one in her love life. The first episode, Beyond Impact Blue, has her racing one of the Lan Evo drivers from the Emperors after he insults female drivers as a whole and challenges her to what he assumes will be an easy race for him. The second episode, Sentimental White, has her go on a date with one of the divers from the Night Kids, who suggests that he would want his girlfriend to give up a dangerous hobby like street racing, leading her to do some thinking about her life. I didn’t feel like the racing was as exciting as it was in the main series, and I don’t love this mangaka’s approach to writing female characters or romance content, but I did like watching Mako take control and set a path for herself. 7/10
Space Dandy – I don’t know what took me so long to watch this series, as an episodic space comedy directed by Shingo Natsume featuring dozens of top-tier animators and guest directors is completely my kind of food. It starts off a little dubiously with the title character monologuing about tits and asses before heading off to his favorite breastaurant, Boobies, but it was hard to stay mad at this charming idiot blundering his way around the galaxy with his talking vacuum cleaner robot sidekick and alien cat freeloader, Meow. Some of the episodes were fantastic sci-fi short stories that packed a ton of worldbuilding and creativity into 20 minutes, and others were just sort of okay monster-of-the-week episodes, with a thread of a overarching plot loosely connecting them. The art and animation varied a bit depending on who worked on the episode, but on the whole, it was very good work and a lot of fun to watch. 8/10
Gunbuster – The old anime nerds have been talking up this series ever since Discotek licensed it, and Crunchyroll added it to their catalog this week, so I watched it. If you watched Aim for the Ace and thought to yourself that it would be better if it had more mechs and titty fanservice, this is the show for you. The first episode is an almost frame-for-frame homage to the beginning episodes of Aim for the Ace, which is kind of amusing when all the girls were training to be mecha pilots to fight the alien horde. It had some solid space fights and substantial sci-fi scenarios, and I appreciated how big the stakes felt. I only wish there were fewer lovingly animated bouncing titties. 7/10
Sasaki and Miyano: Graduation – This is one of those movie sequels to a series that’s kind of hard to put a rating on. On the one hand, it’s more of the story I enjoy with the characters I love, and it’s great to see some of the moments I remember from the manga animated and acted out. On the other hand, however, it’s not structured like a movie in the least, and runs through the material pretty quickly, leaving the viewer little time to take in what they’ve seen. It’s basically just two more episodes smooshed together without an opening or ending song. If you like the series, you’ll like this, but it’s not a movie-length story with a dramatic arc that stands alone. 8/10

As terrible of a monster of a character he is, i find myself weirdly sympathetic towards jagi and his plight. dude unquestionably got the short end of the stick, and then got spat on by destiny itself, before being tossed in a discarded heap of other one off villains. yet at the same time hes so fundamental to kens development as an individual, to the point that you can argue without jagis manipulations and his falling out with ken playing out the way it did, that kenshiro would have never been ready for his destiny/responsibilities as hokuto's heir making jagi arguably the most actually important one of kenshiros siblings when it comes to kenshiros journey as a character. like, there would fundamentally be no saviour at centuries end if jagi didn't exist the way hokuto no ken is written.
yet as i noted, the story just discards him like any other villain once its done with him. hes left out of any future discussions of the hokuto siblings, to the point that if ya skipped his part of the story you could genuinely just pretend there was only the three siblings not four. and when it isn't just writing him off, hes basically just any other wasteland gangster but with hokuto powers, an over the top pastiche of a monstrous bully its okay to explode without a second thought because the minute society collapsed the switch was flipped. a bully its okay to feel nothing for and one whos own prowess is mostly just sadistic show before ken completely outclasses them. and if ya asked most hokuto fans on the matter, they'd probably just be as eager to ignore or disparage him without much thought either.
and its so indicative of hokuto no kens writings problems, and its just such a wasted opportunity. im not asking for secret softboy jagi kun or anything ridiculous like that. its just... wouldn't it have been more interesting if jagi hadn't just been like every other paper tiger of a villain? if there had been a real risk ken might die by taking jagi on? he can still be cruel, and monstrous and all that, but it would have been a perfect opportunity to hammer in how much the whole succession matter sucks when it comes to hokutos singular heir rule that the relation between the brothers well tense was utterly ruined by it when things boiled over. in that context the flashback fight could highlight more then just 'jagi sucks and cheats' but that the rigid structure of hokuto pushed the two brothers into that fight and because ken chickened out and spared jagi he inadvertently created a mortal enemy in a disillusioned bitter brother consumed by a resentment fostered by their own discipline.
and then, you could have the kicker to the whole matter be that when they do get into that second fight, that second round ken is self assured hes going to win at because jagi was always a cheat looking for shortcuts... only to have his expectations flipped on his head and be pushed to near death farther then any other opponent has until that point [baring shin]. that jagis cheating style [evil fist hokuto? idk] works and displays a talent equal to any of the other brothers laying the groundwork for future altered hokuto styles, and leaving the implication that yeah maybe jagi could have been the heir, the kitch in kenshiros armour of doubt that eats at his own self confidence. and when kenshiro finally succeeds, brings justice to jagi for jagis crimes it can feel like a true triumph but also a true tragedy as kenshiro muses over how he created a monster out of a flawed man losing a big brother in the process. and then jagi twists the knife as he dies reminding ken that theres still two more brothers out there, and how those who bear hokutos burdens are destined for tragedy.
like, this is all very rambly i know. i just... i just have thoughts on all this nonsense is all.

How about: Right Hands power is that they can transfer wounds from other people's body's onto their own, and villain never tells them when they're injured because they don't like seeing right hand hurt
Have a nice holiday!
Beautiful. I love it.
…
“You idiot.”
Villain gasped as Righthand ripped away their hand, yanking their shirt up to their ribs and exposing the badly bandaged stab wound to the world.
“Idiot!” they repeated more vehemently.
“It’s not that bad,” Villain said, despite the fact they could barely sit up right from the pain.
Righthand thumbed the perimeter of the bandages, gentle despite their annoyed tone. “This is the third time I’ve caught you hiding injuries from me. Are you trying to get yourself killed?”
“I can handle a few bumps and bruises.”
They hissed as Righthand pressed their thumb a little too hard into the bandages.
Righthand fixed them with a dry stare. “This isn’t bumps and bruises. How are you supposed to fight if you're still hurting from the last battle?”
“And how are you supposed to work when you’re stealing my wounds all the time?”
"Stealing?" Righthand scoffed, shaking their head as they worked their nail beneath the tape and began slowly, peeling back the gauze. “My job doesn’t require the same physical exertion as yours. I am perfectly fine—“
“Well, I’m not!” Villain snatched their hand, holding it an arm's length in front of them.
Righthand stopped, staring at Villain in wide-eyed surprise. Villain only squeezed their hand tighter and stepped in closer, tipping their chin down to meet their gaze.
“Am I supposed to feel fine pushing the consequences of my own actions onto someone else? Am I supposed to ignore when you’re limping around the lair because I took a fall? Or pretend not to notice when you take breaks from work because the bruises I wasn’t quick enough to dodge are hurting too much? How is any of that fair?"
"Well," Righthand swallowed and vaguely twisted their wrist, testing Villain's grip. "Maybe fair depends on your perspective. It's not fair to you that I suffer from the wounds inflicted on you, but it's not fair to me when you keep your injuries secret, basically disregarding my choice to take them."
Villain stepped even closer, glancing over Righthand's fire-eyed and determined expression before dropping their head into their shoulder.
"It's too much," they mumbled.
Righthand's body lurched, for an instant pulling back from Villain even harder. The next moment they were calm again, at least on the outside. Villain could feel their pulse racing in their wrist.
"What is?" they whispered back.
"The pain. It's too much."
"Are you calling me weak?" Righthand spat loudly, all softness and understanding fled.
Villain wrapped their free hand around Righthand's waist.
"Let me tell you, you jerk. I'm twice as strong as any of your goons, and I'm twice as strong as you! I may not have one of those super flashy powers, big muscles, or whatever else you equate with worth, but I've been doing what I do for a long time, and no one does it better than me. I have more endurance in my pinky than you have in your whole body. So if I want to take away one of your wounds, you're going to sit down and let me handle it. Got that?"
With Villain tucked into their shoulder and wrapped around them, their entire furious speech ended up aimed at the wall ahead of them instead of their leader's face, but the criminal slowly dropped their grip on their hand. They did not, however, back away.
"I don't hide injuries because I don't think you're strong. I do it because I care about you." Villain slowly lifted their head to meet their eyes again. "And seeing you in pain hurts worse than any wound. More if it's because of me."
Righthand flushed at Villain's closeness. Their noses would brush if either of them weren't careful.
"What..." Righthand wet their lips. "What makes you think I don't feel the same. It's my job to keep you healthy. If you're in pain, and I don't do anything, isn't your suffering my fault?"
"It's not--"
"I want to help you!" Righthand interrupted loudly.
Villain's eyes widened, and Righthand ducked their head in embarrassment. Quieter, they said, "I want to save you."
Villain hesitated. Slowly, they hooked their finger beneath Righthand's chin and tilted their face back up at them. "Do you think...we could come to a compromise?"
Righthand narrowed their eyes but nodded.
An hour later, they sat side by side on the lair sofa, twin bandages wrapped around considerably less dangerous wounds.
"Does it hurt a lot?" Villain asked, leaning in closer to eye Righthand's new shallow stab wound.
"Childsplay. I could have tackled the whole thing if you'd let me."
"Don't you dare," Villain said, slapping a hand over their own bandages.
Righthand chuckled lightly. "Calm down. I’m not ‘stealing’ anything, you baby. I swear, sometimes you’re too soft.”
“Only for you.”
Righthand jerked their head toward them.
Villain, traced the line of their jaw. This time Righthand did not attempt to pull away; they even leaned into the touch.
Villain smiled. “Only for you.”

As a neurodivergent person i had a very similar experience with my sexuality but a very different one with my gender.
I was, admittedly, taught early on that being gay was taboo. However, as a teen i got really into social justice, and in 11th grade found myself in the queer friend group of the grade - both things which really helped unlearn all the internalized homophobia. Importantly, at this point i still identified as cishet. Come college, i meet this girl and fall head over heels for her. I’m in denial until she tells me she knows i’m straight but she finds me hella attractive. My brain short circuits, i ask to kiss her, and we spend a year together as girlfriends. It was just an “oh” kind of realization - like huh, i’m into at least one girl, guess i’m bi now. Time to tell my high school peeps that i’m not actually the token straight friend anymore! I was only truly worried about my parents, but mostly because i worried they’d judge me and treat me differently, not that i’d lose their love or support.
Gender, on the other hand, was something i struggled with since i was small. I always felt like i was not enough of a girl, i wasn’t as feminine as society told me i should be - at the time i didn’t know that gender was just a performance for most people. I thought i was just weird, alien, destined to be alone. In elementary school, i became friends with the tomboys in my class. I felt power in not being “what girls should be”. However i never *truly* fit in because there was still a lot about femininity that i saw in myself and genuinely enjoyed - but i tried to be a better tomboy.
Then, in middle school, i begun identifying as “not like other girls”. I didn’t fit in or have any friends, and that built resentment in me for the “other girls”, who seemed to so effortlessly fit in and find friends and boys who were interested in them. I was jealous, but i also had a twisted sense of superiority - i now recognized gender as a performance and thought all “other girls” were stuck conforming to a rigid presentation in order to fit in. They were suffering in their bonds of traditional femininity, whereas i was free to be true to myself - even though i was alone, i felt powerful, like i had gained some secret knowledge that none of them had the guts to face. I also found feminism (the toxic, terfy exclusionary kind) and thought of them as complicit in their own oppression, only by being like me could they be true feminists.
Then came high school. During the first two years, i was dealing with a newly presenting chronic illness - not much time or mental space to obsess over the intricacies of gender. I was still “not like other girls” but i was also thinking “maybe other girls… aren’t actually that bad? Maybe they’re not the villains in my story?” And i made more friends. I was still grappling with the fact that i wasn’t feminine enough, but i also wasn’t overly masculine when it came up.
Throughout all of this time, i wasn’t incredibly aware of the existence of trans people. Like rationally, i knew they existed by the time i finished middle school, but it was never something i thought of, and i never actually met anyone who was trans, so it was never something that factored into any of my gender analises. I was, however, increasingly aware of the gay community - and increasingly supportive of them.
Skip to the final years of high school. I found myself in a group of queers for the first time in my life, regularly interacting with people of different sexualities for the first time in my life. Queue me finding out that one of my friends identified as nonbinary. “Nonbinary,” i thought, “what the hell is that?”
“It’s when a person feels like they’re neither a boy nor a girl. They go by they/them pronouns, instead of either she/her or he/him.” My friend explained. That was news to me, i didn’t know that was possible. And pronouns? Weird, but i wanna be a good ally and i love that friend, so i tried to take it in stride. Unknowingly, i started absorbing the “requirements” of being trans and nonbinary. That friend was very androgynous, used they/them pronouns, was bisexual, the works. Nothing like me, at the time. It didn’t help that the entire group was “tumblr gays” - but i don’t judge because that’s all we had access to at the time.
Come college and i accidentally create a group solely consisting of queer folks. And finally, i find myself with access to a real queer community. I’ve started questioning my gender properly at this point, but felt that i couldn’t claim a trans identity because i didn’t want to change how i presented (i know, accidental transmedicalist take alert). I didn’t want to transition, so i thought that excluded me from being trans in any way. But with the continuous support of my community, i grew to accept that i have a wonky gender, and my feelings are all that matter. Claiming a label would take nothing from other trans folks, and they don’t have to be permanent.
Now, i am a proud nonbinary girl. I haven’t come out to most people in my life because i feel no need to. I feel comfortable being perceived as a woman, and only share my wonky gender with the people i trust. Nothing has changed externally, but internally, i am at peace with being not quite a girl - in peace with my gender for the first time in my life. I understand myself better, and that’s all i really needed.
Circling back to your point, OP, i can relate partially to your experiences. And i feel like it is so important to stop defining the queer experience via suffering, like you said. I think i would’ve accepted my trans identity at least a few years sooner had i not equated the trans experience with being at risk of experiencing transphobia, having body dysmorphia, etc. And if it would have changed my situation, i can only imagine that others would benefit incredibly from this shift too. Queer suffering is not the only queer experience, and we should try to emphasize that more when we can. And good god everyone deserves to find an irl queer community, because tumblr queerness can be so limiting it becomes suffocating.
so guys turns out that being raised by queer people alienates me from the queer experience. probably not a good thing

Welcome to my studies of book tropes.
I have written down an explanation/short summary of some tropes. I did this to understand how to portray them accurately if I choose to use them for future novels. This is how I see the tropes and can be different to how you see it.
(The ones in blue are the tropes I made)
Romance: a story of two people meeting for the first time and slowly growing a friendship with each other. Throughout the story, the characters gradually develop feelings towards one another and struggle on how to control those feelings. The story ends with them becoming an official couple.
Dark Romance: a story that is the same as a romance story, but with darker tones. The two characters are terrible people (serial killers, black market sellers, mafia, etc) and act like law-biting citizens. As the friendship grows between them, it becomes harder to keep their dark persona a secret when romantic feelings are mixed in.
Friends to Lovers: a friendship that started during childhood, teen years or a dark moment in one of the characters' life. The friendship shows the trust and closeness of the characters have before romantic feelings make everything complicated, deciding to control those feelings or act on them.
Enemies to Lovers: enemies in a war or enemies that developed from tragedy (A killed B's loved one, A destroyed B's life, etc). The hatred between them is vile and toxic from the amount of pain they caused each other. Unfortunately, the two have to work together for a bigger problem, leading to the opportunity of a different point of view on their enemy to concur.
Love Triangle: three people who are acquaintances or friends develop romantic feelings towards them, but in a complicated way. A loves B, B loves C, C loves A.
Slowburn: a gradual buildup of a friendship to romance. The characters learn and grow into trusting and supporting each other, taking the time to understand one another before/during feelings got complicated.
Age Gap: a story that is the same as a romance story, but the characters' ages have a big gap in between (5-8 years). Life experiences the characters have can play a part in their dynamic.
One bed: two people have to spend the night together in a hotel or one of the characters' place and only have one bed to share. (I'll make it the most disinteresting thing known to man by sleeping on the floor/couch or falling sleep the second their head hits the pillow. Maybe complain about the other in the morning.)
Anti-Hero: a person who is uncaring, selfish and has questionable/bad moral code, but still wants justice, maybe even has a softer side that's buried behind tall walls. (A hero who has seen too much death, too much tragedies and lost motivation to continue and half-ass almost everything.)
Villainous Hero: a hero who acts like a twisted villain and often gets mistaken as one by bystanders and/or allies. (Bonus points if the viewers mistakes them as a villain.)
Heroic Villain: a villain who acts like a righteous hero and often gets mistaken as one by civilians and/or minions. (Bonus points if the viewers mistakes them as a hero.)
Anti-Villain: a person who has a strict moral code and works towards a selfless goal in a bad/evil way. (Overthrowing an evil empire while ruining the lives of innocent people involved. Good intentions, bad actions.)
Hero: a person who fights and protects their city, town or the world from those wishing to destroy/harm them. Is caring, compassion, has a good moral code, and will give up their life to save everyone.
Villain: a person who wishes to cause harm/destroy the innocent lives of people for selfish reasons. Is malicious, cold, sadistic, and will do everything in their power to succeed in their personal goal.
Protagonist: the character(s) of the story is based around.
Antagonist: a person who challenges or gets in the way of the protagonist's goal. (Don't villainous the antagonist.)
