I really wish we'd gotten to see this one scene in the Endverse episode, where Cas (who knew Dean based on one look) asks Endverse!Dean what proof convinced him that Past!Dean was "real". The other two members of the very serious final meeting they had can't figure out why Cas is doubling over with laughter while Endverse!Dean orders everyone to their seats.

MAJOR AOT MANGA SPOILERS ‼️

the more i think about the ending of AOT, the more i love it.

it was actually so evident from season 1 that the manga was going to end on this note. isayama made it so transparently clear, and yet so hard to notice.

in the second to last episode of season 1, when eren was stuck under the rubble and he just couldn’t turn into a titan, armin tells him something very interesting.

he says, “someone who can’t sacrifice anything can never change anything. to defeat monsters, you have to be willing to throw aside your humanity.”

additionally in the next episode, when mikasa tells eren that she was “glad he came back”, it sort of directly contradicts armin’s statement. eren was ready to throw away his humanity, in fact when he was fighting annie, you can say he almost did. except when he saw her face. he hesitated for a moment. that “moment” was his humanity. the sliver of humanity he had left. which is why they failed to actually capture and question annie. at that moment, he failed to sacrifice his humanity.

eren always made it abundantly obvious that he would do absolutely anything for his family and his friends. he would tear down cities, destroy homes, kill thousands. he would throw away whatever ounce of humanity he had left, for those he loves. and ultimately, you can say that he did.

but… he would always come back. eren always found a way to “come back” to armin and mikasa. when his mind was flooded with thoughts of rage, war, revenge and his hands were bruised and bloodied, him still keeping that bit of humanity in him is what allowed him to “come back” always.

ultimately, there’s no doubt that isayama is a genius. and of course this is just my take on this masterpiece, but in the end, you can say eren did succeed in his mission, proving he managed to defeat the monsters by destroying his humanity.

or you can say he didn’t. it’s not black or white. just like you can say he ultimately came back to mikasa, proving he still had some humanity left. or you can say he didn’t come back, since he died.

It was one of the colder months, yk the British winter this was the time Kath broke her back due to the museum accident. Hobie was by her side 24/7 bc she had to use a walking stick, it was that bad.

They were walking around London, after a show and getting some food. She stopped.

"Look at that." One snowflake, then 5, then 10 was dropping everywhere, in her hair, on the food containers.

Hobie just couldn't help but to stare, his mind was already racing because of her back, it was 'his fault', how she ended up like this. But still looked up at the snow her big smile, he was head over heels.

"I'm looking at it."

"Meant the snow, dumbass."

Her nose crinkled, when she smiled, leaning against him.

"I love you."

Kath responded, he wrapped his arm around her. Steadying her so she can be upright.
