------------- この3人描く予定なんか全くなかったのに↓の画像にツボりすぎて描かざるを得なかった🥺🥺 I hadn't planned on drawing these three at all, but I was so struck by the following picture that I couldn't help but draw them:
#my art#sdr2#hajime hinata#日向創#nagito komaeda#狛枝凪斗#chiaki nanami#七海千秋#Why is only Chiaki in Chibi-style!?#I could understand if there were no figures of Chiaki in the same series#but in fact there is a figure of Chiaki in the same ones!#I guess the person in charge of promotion probably wanted to put three figures standing in a straight line#but the one of Chiaki did not fit well there.#BUT I found it cute and funny that only Chiaki is in Chibi-style while Nagito and Hajime are in their normal forms.#In this art Chiaki complains to Nagito and Hajime#like “Why are you both so tall! CH. 1 – you want… me? to be ur wingman? . . . masterlist / previous / next !
nishimura riki has been your best friend since the beginning of time.. well, since you were about four years old. the two of you have been inseparable since stepping onto the wooden floor of your shared dance studio, infatuated with each other from the get-go.
growing alongside the boy was special, if anything. there was rarely a time where you felt invisible or unheard with him, riki always finding a way to brighten the mood. from his energetic personality, witty humor, and the way he always listened– your friendship was unbreakable.
the two of you shared a bond so immense that it led you to attend the same university, both majoring in the realm of dance– your passion lingering as time blurred from the small figures you were all those years ago.
as per usual, sat beside the boy, you took a bite of your steaming ramen, contemplating the next steps of your uneventful college life. between coursework, spending time with your best friends, and dancing– there was barely any time for the one thing you’d been thinking about for years; dating.
you’d wished that a special someone would come sweep you off of your feet as described in romance novels– except that reality wasn’t for you. it was true that your love life was comparable to the custodian’s dusty, dark, cobweb filled closet.
it wasn’t that you weren’t admired through the male gaze, it was simply the fact that nishimura riki seemed to be an obstacle to each boy who wanted to shoot their shot. except, who could blame them? your best friend was always attached to your hip, and you to his. he’s immensely tall, protective, and affectionate to the point it seemed as though he was your boyfriend.
except he isn’t.
“bubba.” riki’s husky voice called, breaking you out of the trance of deep thought you’d been in.
peering up at him with your adorable, curious eyes, he melts at the sight, a small smile tugging at his lips. “what’s on your mind, hm?” he questions softly, reaching a hand forward to rake his fingers through the soft ends of your hair.
“well.. it‘s just that i want to try going on a date, i think.” you admit in response, causing the boy to pause.
“you you want to go on a date?” he asks, his protectiveness appearing at the forefront of his expression– masking his slight disappointment. “with who?” he proceeds to question, sounding skeptical.
it was no secret that the boy admired you, adored you with every ounce of his heart. he refused to treat any other female the way he does you. from an outsider’s viewpoint, anyone could tell that he loves you.
“that’s what i was getting to… could you– possibly set me up?” you ask ever so innocently, causing riki’s heart to crack inside of his chest.
“you want… me?” he begins, pointing to himself with his index finger, “to be your wingman?” the boy blinks, staring at you with a blank stare and parted lips.
“yes!” you agree with a cheeky grin, nodding your head in addition to the verbal response.
with a heavy sigh, the boy nods, flashing a small, tight-lipped smile toward you. “alright, baby. i’ll set you up on a date this weekend.”

What's the most partners everyone had at once? Where they at the center of an orgy? Only one on one? Somewhere in the middle?
Warning: lewd content below
Thought I did this one before, so apologize if I forgot and it's a repost
Notes:
* Despite Leon bragging about being a "Playboy rockstar", he's only ever had sex with a single person at a time
* Honestly, I have zero idea how Nagito has had sex before, let alone a threesome. But judging by the way he talks about it, you're better off not knowing (unless you want to speak to a very flustered Mikan, insane Nagito, or a surpassingly bashful Chiaki)
* Fun fact, Kyoko, Hina, and Makoto were all involved in the very same foursome that landed them in mid tier. Who was the fourth member? I'll never tell ;) (DM with your best guess if you're confident enough)
* It's tradition for the Crazy Diamonds to tear up the town. And if that includes gangbanging some slut in an alleyway, well then the leader of the Diamond's needs to show the rest of the group how to properly have fun!
* As the leader of an evil organization, Kokichi recounted countless numbers of times where he was in a full blown orgy with princesses, presidents, and other authority figures (though nobody on earth knows if he's being honest or not)

Twilight Syndrome Murder Case - Girl B
CHIAKI: Well Hiyoko... what did Tomoe Kimura get involved in this case?
It... it's a lot and as say, at the time all I wanted to do was expose Tomoe for what she did but instead...instead...
Instead, I thrown under the bus! Me and Mahiru, we...I... I just decided to frame her instead for killing Natsumi Kuzuruyu and she got mad at me! I wasn't even sure, I...god...!
...
...
...
Date: July 7th, 2011
*standing by the door was Mahiru, Ibuki and Hiyoko who were waiting...*
That trashy skank is such a damn slowpoke, what's taking her so long to get here!
I'm not sure either honestly, she mention she's talking with Tsubasa about somethings so she might be taking a while...
Right yeah, I did remember she was doing something like that but still; that pig shit should hurry up already!
No kidding, in fact Hatomi is taking a while as well; wonder what happen? I haven't seen her since I got back from the trip, I hope she's okay...
Yeah she's been really on edge for a while, you figure she would be here by now...
Yeah, honestly I was worried about her - maybe the exams are starting to get to her? I mean, she's been really bother by that Natsumi girl...
Oh and hey look, isn't that Tomoe coming this way?
Oh yeah... it's her, I wonder what she's doing coming this way...
*As then Tomoe walks over*
Oh hey there Ibuki and Mahiru, it's good to see you both!
Well well well, if it isn't the future serial killer coming here; have you killed any rats as of late?
...No, I haven't. Why are you bringing this up whenever I come by?
I don't know, maybe because you put some dead mice in my bed during my birthday?
When I was 10 years old? I mean, your aware that was years ago and I thought I already apologize to you.
As if, that apology wasn't good enough and if anything I want you to go on your knees and beg for forgiveness you future serial killer!
Hiyoko, c'mon just knock it off already! Look, she apologize - you don't need to continue harping on that!
I'm sorry about that, we trying to make her stop but it seems she's still holding that against you.
Yeah... looks like it well, it's not like I need to deal with her since I'll be away for a few days...
Huh, a few days? What do you mean?
Weeeell seems I just got in contact with a studio and today, I'm going to be trying out to voice for this anime that is starting which I'll be auditioning for and I'm pretty excited!
Whoooa, you mean your finally getting to audition!
Oh hey, that's good to hear! Congrats!
Thanks, I'm actually pretty excited so I'm gonna head off, see you then!
*As then Tomoe walked pass them...*
Hmph... I hope that bitch fails horribly, she doesn't deserve anything good...
Hiyoko... I know you don't like Tomoe, but it's clear she's not the same person...
Yeah dude, your bringing the mood down so can you maybe tone it down a bit? She did apologize for it...
Yeah well I don't accept it, I need a proper apology not that half-ass one!
Well okay, still I think your going a bit far...
???: I-I'm sorry…!
*As then Mikan had rush over to the other 3*
I'm really…really sorry for keeping you all waiting!

"Wait, I need to delete my browser history first!" – Jeon Chiaki, Son of Solomon, Circa. 2024
After a millenia(not really), I finally made an oc for WHB and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!
With that, I offer you my son, Chi-chi Jeon Chiaki <3 now if you will excuse me I am going to rest my achey hands adjfgfdhd
Voice Actors:
(KR)Lee Sang-ho (Lilac Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom, Wise from Zenless Zone Zero)
(EN)Howard Wang (Xie Lian from TCGF, Louis from Morariarty the Patriot)
(JP)Daiki Yamashta (Ritsu Sakuma from ensemble stars)
Personality: Most of the time Chiaki is level-headed and calm, not one to jump the gun onsite. Also quite sarcastic and sassy, it’s a form of coping as well as a defense mechanism for himself. Despite his calm demeanor, he’s not the type to sit back and take things. As someone who’s quite observant, he’s the type to analyze first and act after. However, all trains of thought are gone when his loved ones are on the line and his fury will set ablaze that even makes Satan blush(literally…). Chiaki, despite having gone through enough, has carried an outlook on life that extends far beyond optimism, always the type to believe that things will turn out okay while sticking to reality. In his own way, Chiaki can be rather playful and cheeky with most and due to his charm alone, he can coax others into doing what he wants to meet his own goals– for the greater good of course! Considering his past experiences, he acts as a maternal figure for many, especially those who lacked such internal warmth, but has a spot big enough for Chiaki to hold them. Chiaki is a chivalrous pervert, but with some virtue. He tends to get distracted by his own lewd thoughts and has always been open about his sexuality. Sex positive, Chiaki indulges others in their sexual interests and endeavors! Interestingly enough, he’s also one of the densest people on Earth, so it will take a lot for his man to even get a single hint!
Confidence point: Shoulders and thighs
Favorite food(s): grilled brisket
Hobby: writing songs and reading erotica novels
Ideal Type: someone more dependable and carefree
Backstory: Chiaki had a loving childhood, his mother was a piano teacher and his father was a lawyer. Coming from a humble past, he wanted to get involved with music like his mother. Thus, he aspired to be a songwriter and musician when he grew older, but that dream was crushed when he lost his family at an early age and was later taken in by Minhyeok and his family. Chiaki had nothing left from them except for a key necklace that his father gave to him. “No matter what, hold onto this, there will be a time when you will need it most,” his father urged, only a few days before he was brutally murdered alongside his wife. Chiaki didn’t get what his father meant–not until he witnessed his best friend getting hurt right before his eyes and having made a contract with the King of Fury to save him. Only then did he truly understand.
Trivia:
Is bisexual, and is a verse-switch(do not let his looks fool you!). Learned that he was bi when he was around 14 years old and his first crush was Minhyeok.
Before he went to hell, he worked at a bookstore and also read to children on occasion. Also worked part time at a music store and would teach music lessons on occasion.
Attended the same college as Minhyeok as a Music theory major, with a minor in Literature
Talented singer and dancer. When he was still attending university, he would be seen dancing in the studio or recording songs in one of booths of the music buildings.
Knows how to play guitar and piano. Knows music theory.
Having lost his family, he learned to cook for himself and with the help of Minhyeok.
His father is Korean and his mother is Japanese.
Speaks both Korean, Satoori, and Japanese. Satoori comes out when he’s angry.
Does in fact have a skin care routine even after descending to hell.
His favorite sanrio characters are Kuromi and Pochacco
Before his ascension to Hell, some of his friends called him Qiqi because he used to play genshin impact(or whatever equivalent), and whenever he pulled for a character, he got Qiqi instead, losing the 50/50. They also call him Chichi due to his "impressive" chest size, which he refuses to acknowledge.
Has written and composed his own songs, some of which are saucy, raunchy in their own way. He keeps them in a journal, but regrets not taking said journal with him before leaving to Hell.
Going in depth with his hobbies aside from songwriting, he collects erotica novels and manga, but doesn’t have a porn collection like the original mc, but that doesn’t mean he owns a few toys himself.
owns a light purple galaxy z flip5, but uses it for selfies and nudes. He uses the phone Satan gave him for contacts.
In terms of combat, he was able to wield various weapons during his time in hell, more specifically weapons made of Sitri's blood. He wields both a glade and a hammer.
Can make barriers out of silver/gold
Can summon large extraterritorial monsters from his coffin(given by Leviathan) and hang people on command if need be.
Design Notes:
Character inspo: Cealus and Dr. Ratio(Hontai Star rail), Epel Felmier(twst), Eiden(Nu:Carnival), Shoto(Vtuber/indie), Uki Violeta(Noctyx, Nijisanji EN), Solomon(Obey me & WHB), Joenghan(Seventeen)
concept outfit: white v-line shirt, dark purple cuffed pants, white converse(platforms), and has a purple cardigan/jacket.
Chiaki is a man of comfortability hence he would be seen wearing cardigans, sweaters, etc.
His main outfit as derived from Eiden(Nu:carnival) but instead of a jacket, I decided that a cardigan would fit him best due to lax personality and nature. Not to mention his previous occupation as a bookseller/keeper and a music tutor and musician.
Since his favorite color is purple, he can be seen wearing lots of cool, warm purples and sometimes blues and pinks.

Wind Breaker Episode 4 Review - Shishitoren Picks A Fight
This episode is mainly a buildup to the Bofurin vs Shishitoren confrontation. There better be good animation next week. I’m restless thinking about what sort of fights would transpire between the individual one-on-one matches.
This episode is mainly showcasing what sort of person the top dog Umemiya is. He appears to be a goofball who is way too relaxed and likes gardening. Even Sakura was in disbelief at first. He doesn’t seem like he’d be good at fighting, but he’s one of those characters who is a lot scarier than he appears to be. In fact, Sakura gets chills when he feels Umemiya’s fighting aura behind him. I honestly like Umemiya a lot! He’s a goofball. I do love the contrast he has when he’s not confronting rival gangs. He’s like everyone’s big brother and I like that about him. He’s especially cheesy towards Kotoha, who is revealed to be his younger sister but they’re not related by blood. Given that he’s the strongest, I do hope his fighting skills will be revealed next episode. Umemiya is voiced by Yuichi Nakamura and I think it’s a great fit! Some of Nakamura’s roles include Kuroo from Haikyuu, Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen and Sein from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. It’s safe to say that Nakamura knows how to voice mentor/big brother figures well.
Shishitoren reveals their whole group. Their leader Choji is a nut job. He’s petite and cute, but don’t let his sweet looks fool you. Those dead fish eyes of his are menacing as heck. I don’t think he has even blinked once during his appearances. He’s like the antithesis of Umemiya in a way. They’re both at the top, but Umemiya likes his position while Choji is bored of it. That’s why he’s so chaotic and bloodthirsty because he needs to find a purpose. That’s why he’s so insistent on beating Umemiya. Choji is voiced by Kikunosuke Toya, who’s known for voicing Denji from Chainsaw Man and Mikoto Yuzuki from The Yuzuki Family’s Four Sons. To be honest, I did not expect Toya to have such a cutesy like voice given the previous roles I mentioned.
Shishitoren decides to have a 5:5 match of individual 1:1 matches. The lineup is Umemiya vs Choji, Togame vs Sakura, Sugishita vs half-shave dude, Suo vs dude with bun and Hiiragi vs Sako, a newly introduced character. I forgot half-shave and bun guy’s names, but I will remember them next episode. Regarding Sako, the official website states that he has a history with Hiiragi, so this will be interesting. Also, Sako is voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi and Hiiragi is voiced by Ryota Suzuki. This is a Cherry Magic reunion gone awry (Kobayashi and Suzuki voiced the main leads of Cherry Magic).
It’s okay, Sakura. I thought Kotoha was in her 20’s too. She looks way too mature to be 16. Why isn’t she at school? Why is she working at the cafe? There’s a lot that isn’t told about the town Sakura moved into—do we even know its name? While Kotoha and Umemiya are siblings, they were raised in the same foster house, hence why they consider each other siblings. The fact that Kotoha, who’s normally friendly and chill, is super annoyed by him is peak younger sibling attitude. Also, is Omurice the only thing she can make?
I honestly can’t wait next episode. However, I do wonder why Nirei went to the battlefield when he’s not participating in the match? Will he be a supporting role in the fights? Will he gather information about the enemies? What is his role here? Anyways, what are your thoughts on this episode?

Satoru is looking through a magazine casually (excuse: his phone is low on battery). On the last page, a model wearing a cute pink sundress appears, light and frilly, perfect for a sunny day. Satoru's gaze focuses on it for a moment.
“ Hey, ” he says to Chiaki, his tone easy and nonchalant, “ I think you’d look really good in this. ” He doesn't wait for her to respond right away, as though it is just a passing thought, but the compliment hangs in the air, playful and spontaneous.
A MESS OF STUDY MATERIALS splays out haphazardly across the floor of her dorm room. chiaki is a very tidy person until stress enters the picture. then all bets are off. unlike someone, who barged into her room with absolutely no intention of doing anything academic, the curse-identification exam coming up has overtaken her mind and free time lately. it doesn't help that chiaki entered the school at a major disadvantage compared to those who have known what curses are for most of their lives.
not for the first time, she aches for even a scrap of satoru's privilege. but she holds no resentment towards him for that. what can you do, right? you're born how you're born. and — well, he's been much less insufferable lately. enough that chiaki feels comfortable sitting beside him in her room, a ransacked box of sweets between them, just to have another body present to help her focus. though gojo might be a strange choice of body in anyone else's opinion, he is, unfortunately, the smartest person she has ever met. ( not that she'd admit that to him, ever. ) he can probably answer any question she has about jujutsu, at least in a technical sense. he can always be counted on to stay up late. and chiaki has spent more time talking to him than any other student by a vast margin; even if they spent the whole night bickering, she'd prefer it over the awkwardness of unbroken ice.
rubbing at the back of one eye ( she took her dried-up contacts out a while ago, leaving their true mismatched colors undisguised by the usual brown ), chiaki glances at the page gojo has drawn her attention to.
it is a cute sundress, she has to admit. tie-straps done up in little bows at the model's shoulders, the hem just skimming mid-thigh. short. leggy. it's the kind of thing chiaki would never consider buying for herself.
❝ you think so? ❞
the fact that gojo saw it and pictured her wearing it — the fact that the mental image crossed him at all —
well. it's probably because she's the only one in the room with him. or maybe it's a pity-compliment, or just a bid to tease a blush out of her the way he does sometimes. but none of the rationalizations can stop her face from heating a bit when her eyes find his, wide and staring as always, then flick back down to the papers strewn about.
❝ um... thanks. that's nice of you to say. ❞ it feels weird to be so polite with gojo. wrong. alien. but it's late, and she's tired, and it was nice of him. sue her. chiaki lifts her pen, one from the bulk pack she got at muji with little animal figures on the clicky ends, and rolls it between two fingers thoughtfully. ❝ you know, girls my age really like to shop. but it never... i dunno. my family's pretty frugal — if something is damaged, we sew it or patch it. if it's impossible to save, we'll search for something like it secondhand. ❞ that would explain why she's scraped by with the same uniform jacket despite the amount of times it's been cut to ribbons by curses.
❝ it'd be nice to own something cute like that for off-days, though. maybe after we graduate? grade-one salary seems pretty good, if i make it that high. ❞ she lifts the pen between her lips, teeth, contemplating. ❝ what's it like, being super rich? is it boring to never want anything you can't have? ❞
this got way longer than i intended // @brazenlystrong
#ic.#chiaki threads.#chiaki bond » brazenlystrong / gojo satoru ( did it hurt? when i told you to google it and i was right )#brazenlystrong#i need u to know she's experiencing the bone-deep intrusive urge to lay across his lap rn.

Can you explain in detail how Hinazumi are the perfect catalysts for each other's character developments?
//Ok, so I really just mean this in a context outside of DR2, because the actual potential is never really explored. The number of canonical interactions outside of the FTE's that Hajime and Mahiru have is actually fairly minimal, but here's how I see it.
//If you don't take this post at face value...that's fine, I don't expect you to. I'm just explaining how things look from my perspective on things.
//From Mahiru's perspective, her own problems originate from the fact that she grew up pretty lonely and has a very skewed idea about how people are supposed to act based on their gender. The reason why she's so harsh towards most guys is because she sets very high expectations for how they're supposed to act; usually to be tough and to protect girls, and she thinks that men and women need to have some sort of symbiotic relationship. But this is a VERY problematic mindset due to the things it makes Mahiru say and do. She snaps at boys for even the smallest slight and berates them, meanwhile she would probably let Hiyoko get away with murder, and never calls her out when she's horrible, even towards people like Mikan.
//This is different with Hajime. In Mahiru's Free Time Events it's pretty clear that whether you see it as romantic or not (Mahiru DOES confess to Hajime at the end of her island mode, but putting that aside) Hajime describes how he feels "not a single atom of awkwardness" at the suggestion that they would carry on their relationship after leaving the island, and Mahiru promises to give him her old camera, something that matters to her a lot based on the dialogue.
//In a post-DR2 setting, Hajime is the one guy who I think can calmly give Mahiru a reality check and berate her on her own unfortunate quirks the same way she does to most people, WITHOUT earning her wrath. Mahiru trusts Hajime, as shown in the FTE's, and it's not the same kind of forced trust in others that Danganronpa does normally where it's just through the power of friendship. They're hesitant to call each other "friends" at first because of Mahiru's high-strung look at the world, but the fact that in spite of that and how she initially sees Hajime as unreliable, she still puts her faith in him, trusting him with things like her camera and Nagito's food. And the reason is because she thinks he IS reliable, she just doesn't outright say it.
//So in that manner, Hajime is a good catalyst for Mahiru to sort of...simmer down and face herself, to figure out what's wrong with her and what she can improve. Especially when Hajime had to do that to literally save all their lives at the end of DR2. I think she would be inspired by that.
//Then there's how it is from Hajime's perspective, which actually takes a lot of this ^^^ into account.
//By all intents and purposes, besides Nagito (which even then is debatable) Mahiru is the closest thing to a "normal" person in Danganronpa 2. Her talent as a Photographer is brought up a lot, but aside from that and her own ideals, she's just a really normal girl who relates to Hajime in a lot of ways. So in that regard, I can see them being close initially.
//Hajime's big issue post DR2 is having to cope with the enormous weight that he bears on his shoulders. Not only is he now the de facto leader of a group of ex-terrorists, and holds himself responsible for their actions, but he has so much trauma to cope with. Including, but not limited to, Chiaki's death, his actions in causing the tragedy, having been the one to corrupt the program in the first place, and also being primarily responsible in the goal to redeeming his squad, as well as the fact that he now has infinite Ultimate talents, can do anything, and now needs to figure out what he's going to do about THAT.
//Hajime signed himself up for all of this and he's more than willing to live with his choices, but he feels he has to basically having to cope with the belief that he's one of the biggest piece of shit guys in the world, and is also a veritable god. Two things that Mahiru KNOWS he's not.
//As I said already, Mahiru TRUSTS Hajime for the kind of person he is naturally; a guy that she can depend on. So when Hajime thinks he's not worth it, or when he thinks he's a problem, it then becomes Mahiru's job to be there for him and remind him that this really isn't the case.
//I don't think I really point this out enough, but there's one very important thing about Hajime and Izuru that sets them apart. Both of them have infinite Ultimate Talents, and because of it, struggle to find excitement in anything they do in their lives, because everything just comes naturally to them. But Hajime has been able to overcome this problem, and it's for one key reason: He's doing it with his FRIENDS.
//We can kind of see this in the current arc with Izuru's own brand of character development now that he's in control of Hajime's body. Hope's Peak erased Hajime's personality from the ground up to remove any emotional weaknesses that his personality would have, leaving Izuru as a blank slate. But now that Hajime's gone, Izuru is spending time with the likes of Chiaki, Akane and Mahiru, and he's actually DEVELOPED as a result. He smiles when he's with Chiaki, he enjoys spending time with her, and he's very charitable towards the others even though he sticks with a stone face. He's becoming less of a force and more of a PERSON thanks to spending quality time with Hajime's friends.
//Hajime has lifelong friends by his side, and the Remnants are so close they're basically a family. Isolation is his WEAKNESS. Without his friends or some sort of companion by his side, Hajime is just left with that boring reality that he's good at everything and there's no excitement or joy in his life. The source of that excitement comes from doing things TOGETHER with the people he cares about.
//And Mahiru KNOWS this, since her ideals about men and women that Hajime would help her work out of comes from that same isolation. Growing up, her mother was mostly absent due to being a war photographer and out of the country all the time, her father didn't really take care of the house, her, or himself, and her only good friend growing up prior to Hope's Peak was Sato. She's also, supposedly, been cut off from a lot of people because of her talents as a photographer, even though she herself is a fairly normal person.
//Mahiru knows what it's like be lonely, and she knows what it's like to be seen for your talent and nothing else. She's probably the ONLY one who understands Hajime's specific circumstances of having so much pressure on him and not feeling like he can share it, and that's not a fate that she would wish on him. Which is why she's the perfect person to help him through it.
//Honestly, it feels stupid that I ever thought anyone other than Mahiru could be Hajime's girlfriend for this specific series.

@bonsaa actually asked for me to continue my Kamukura Project ramblings and I’ve never been more thrilled, this gives me a great excuse to continue.
Continuing with the idea of how marvelously fucked up the Project was in the first place: the project was sketchy from the start. For one, I’m pretty sure Hajime’s parents were NOT aware of it at all. If they were, they either would’ve 1: signed Hajime away to it, not giving him a choice. Or 2: disagreed with it and also would’ve not given him the choice. The fact that the chairman ASKED Hajime whether or not he’d come to a decision shows this.
There was also the fact that whatever Hajime signed was a blatant lie. Going into the building after he’d agreed to it, Hajime says that he’ll become someone Chiaki could be proud of, someone with a talent. He was convinced that HE would be coming out of it, same person, same personality, just with a talent. If he was told that he would’ve been erased, he wouldn’t have done it. Why? Because if he came out a different person, the whole “Chiaki can be proud of” thing would be for nothing.
So of course, now we’re at the point and time for the start of the surgeries. Izuru has super strength and super speed. That has to have been given to him while he was still Hajime. Because if they created Izuru with average human abilities, THEN given him speed and strength, Izuru would’ve figured out what he was before the scientists got a chance to use him as intended. Just imagine that. Hajime is told he’ll be going into the first surgery to get a talent. He comes out of it and now has to function in a completely different and strange body. He goes to pick up a fork to eat and accidentally mangles it. That sounds like an exaggeration, but Izuru threw Junko and Mukuro across the room by flicking his wrist. Izuru was “born” with abilities like that so it would’ve been normal to him. Hajime on the other hand, then would’ve had to adapt from what he was used to.
And you can’t just erase someone’s entire existence in one surgery. The scientists and doctors probably cut off all of his contact with the world so that he didn’t have any reminder of who he was. They probably referred to him as Izuru Kamukura throughout the process to condition his mind to respond as if it was his name. On that note, Izuru was described as a “super weapon” and a “tool for hope”. That is objectification. The scientists probably didn’t consider Hajime or Izuru human. I can imagine they referred to him as an object, not only so that Izuru would think of himself as a weapon for Hope’s Peak (sure that was a lot of it), but also to clear their own consciousnesses. It would’ve been a lot easier for them to think about preforming a lobotomy on a non-human object than on a person.
And of course we all saw the room Izuru was kept in. They probably kept Hajime in the same room so that 1: he didn’t have any self-reminders. And 2: so that Izuru would be more likely to consider it his room when he was created. We saw from Chiaki’s death scene that Izuru kept some of Hajime’s feelings, so if Izuru considered that empty box his room, he’d be less likely to want something more habitable, as he’d be used to it.
And when it comes to the surgical procedures themselves, I did a little digging on sedatives. Just going to start off by saying that Hope’s Peak probably didn’t fully sedate him, in hopes of increasing pain tolerance. But what I found, was that many even heavily sedated patients are award of their surroundings. It’s recommended people talk to them because they can hear and comprehend what they are hearing. The only issue being, they can’t respond. Now when working with sedated patients, the doctors will close the patient’s eyes and put something over them. If you look at Hajime just as he’s going into the final surgery, his eyes are not covered. He was probably listening and seeing as the doctors spoke about what they planned on doing. And while it would’ve gotten fuzzy when they started on his brain, sedated patients have spoken about how they remember a lot, but just chalked it up to a vivid hallucination or nightmare. So Izuru would’ve retained a lot of that.
Keeping with the topic of sedation and awareness, we’re going to circle back to the muscle and body modifications Hajime would’ve had to go through. Everyone talks about his main lobotomy scar on his head, but Izuru came out of everything super strong and fast. Post-Neo World Hajime wouldn’t have just had a scar wrapping around his head, but so many along every muscle in his body. Reminder that Izuru took down the SHSL Soldier with a wrist flick. Imagine the modifications that would’ve had to have been done to allow him to do that. Post-Game Hajime would’ve had scars all over his body, accompanied by memories of the slicing done to get them.
Now during the surgery, once Hajime realized that they planned on erasing him, or even when they cut off his contact with everything and everyone he knew, he would’ve tried to fight back. He fought the Ultimate Boxer as a Reserve Course Student. Being even stronger (and knowing that) he wouldn’t have wanted to stick around for long, so why not use his new strength to just fight his way out. The scientists would’ve known about this and put him on a crap ton of mood-changers to keep him remotely cooperative. His food was probably drugged left and right, and that along with the entire project would’ve led to a truck-load of trust issues that would take years to undo.
Thanks for listening to my hyperfixated ramble. I wish I could finish my WIPs with this kind of dedication.

GB!Kyoko/Kyo wakes up to find himself in bed...and Makoto, his girlfriend, over him in a skimpy phantom thief outfit. Shall the detective chase and 'punish' this thief?~
Lewd topics lie below!
As Makoto Naegi's boyfriend, Kyo could testify that waking up by her side in the morning was always a pleasure; Sometimes it was simply seeing her sleeping angelic face that satisfied him. Other times, the pleasure could get quite literal when his luckster was in a special mood. This morning would likely be the latter, Kyo figured. After all, what other conclusion should he come to upon feeling a suspicious weight on his lap.
"Rise and shine, my detective~" He heard a familiarly cute voice beckon him.
"Sure thing." 'Her detective' opened his eyes, making her yelp adorably upon realizing that he was already awake. But she quickly composed herself, it didn't matter, he definitely won't be prepared for this.
And it seemed she was correct, because after opening his eyes, they quickly widened once focused on her.
Sitting on top of his lap, was his beautiful girlfriend. Except this time around, things were a bit different from usual.
For one, she was wearing a costume belonging to a certain crimson-haired gymnast, one that he has never seen or heard of and therefore has no idea what this outfit was meant to be. However, as unacquainted as he was to this outfit, he quickly found that it didn't matter. For, the first thing that caught his attention was the black leotard his girlfriend was wearing; Or rather, the way that the bottom part of said leotard was completely consumed by her bodaciously thick ass-cheeks and that she was currently doing the splits. (Kyo surmised that this sudden flexibility was a result of her recent workouts with Sakura and Hina. Good for her.) After getting a satisfying eyeful, the detective admired the rest of her outfit.
Over the black leotard was a bolero jacket of the same color, which had gold buttons, ruffled sleeves, and three long coat-tails which were cleverly swept aside as to not block his view of her peachy posterior. Additionally, her usual shoulder-length hazelnut-hair was tied into a ponytail with a black ribbon, she wore royal-red gloves on her hands, and a black choker around her neck. Finally, he looked at her legs to see that she was wearing thigh-length hose and stiletto lace-up pumps*ngl I had to google the name of those*, which greatly accentuated her thighs and caboose.
"What's wrong, detective?~ I'm only in the middle of my heist for your heart, and you can't even take your eyes off me~. Is my outfit that appealing to you?~ *ahem*— I-Is it?..." Makoto spoke in an alluring voice before not so subtly and timidly asking for her boyfriend's approval.
SLAP!
"Eeep!!~" The gorgeous brunette squealed in pleasure as her boyfriend slammed his leather-gloved hand down on one of her rotund globes, marking his beloved with his very own handprint.
Based off the fact that Kyo then proceeded to whip out his fully erect shaft, forcefully hold her legs in their split position, and shift the rear end of her leotard aside to fervently fuck her pussy for the remainder of the morning— Makoto thinks that she may have her answer to her inquiry.
—————
The detective laid down in bed, holding his luckster in his arms as the two rested, following their intense love-making.
"Makoto?" He gently spoke up.
"Hmm?..." The brunette hummed softly in response against his chest, completely melting in his warm embrace.
"Who exactly are you meant to be dressed as?" Kyo questioned.
Makoto let out a gasp and shot her head up to look him in the eyes.
"You haven't played Persona 5!" She exclaimed as if uncovering a world-changing plot twist.
"A video game, then? Yes... I believe you should know by now that I don't play those."
"We need to play it, RIGHT NOW!— Ah crap! I let Komaru borrow my copy!"
"Is this really that urgent?" He deadpanned.
"Absolutely, Kyo!— Hold on, I'm gonna go see if Chiaki has it!" She jumped out of bed, bolted to the door, and swung it open.
"Wait— you're not even dressed!—"

She'd had, she remembered as she dressed, given him a run for his money. It wasn't as if she'd even grown up at arcades, but having a best friend who was a professional gamer did help at times. Even more so that she was patient, eager to instruct, and mostly just wanted to have a friend to play games with whether it brought her any amount of competition or not. Sonia smiled at the thought: she'd have to tell Chiaki about this soon.
Though perhaps, in an effort not to worry her, she'd leave the part about how Wylan had brought several firearms illegally (she guessed) into France as some sort of backup measure.
"How did you plan to use them, if so? On me?" She asked, perhaps in a tone far too light for the question. If just for the fact she didn't think he would, but he'd brought them for a reason. A roundabout question to get to the real one: What are you afraid of?
Another question for another day, particularly after the previous night had been so exhausting in a multitude of ways. Besides, he'd steered the conversation into something else meaningful: the denial they shared about their feelings for one another. Nevertheless, it still didn't stop her pausing as she applied her lipstick: he too had loved her, enjoyed her company, when she'd been either too oblivious or too wrapped up in her own self-sabotage to tell him as such.
"Did you, now," She spoke after her hands had moved again and finished applying the deep rose shade to her lips. Finishing, she placed the cap on the tube and the tube in her purse before standing up to face him. "I thought I was the only one. If I'd said something, I figured you would've pushed me away. I suppose spontaneously kissing you to distract another European aristocrat from recognizing me was a feeble attempt at a diversion and to express myself: how much I enjoyed being around you, seeing all the sights Las Vegas had to offer." Restaurants filled with junk food, fake castles that housed casinos, frozen alcoholic drinks in sizes Sonia hadn't known drinks to be served in. So much of it was a blur for so long but with him there, now, she was recalling the highlights of their adventure away from their lives, or at least her security.
Paris, however, didn't quite offer the same level of frivolity and tackiness, unless one knew where to go. Maybe she'd lead him to something equivalent later but first, clothes. "Oh, I would say this is our first date, yes," She replied, grinning as she let him pull her close. Sonia had guessed that, in their absence, the rest of the party would scatter. Her security, to prepare to discreetly tail them the entire day (though knowing Wylan, she felt certain he'd know their presence and approximate distance everywhere they went). Her family, because they didn't want to risk hearing anything they really didn't wish to. "If we are going on an outing where we are honest with one another about what we are feeling. Though I suppose with that logic, last night counts? Or does a date count if we went out with feelings for one another that went unshared?" She thought briefly of the various instances where he'd be telling jokes and attempting to get under her skin and she highly considered responding in kind with kissing him and seeing what happened.
Actually, that wasn't the worst idea to try now. But maybe not on the streets of Paris, after taking the elevator to the lobby and quickly crossing through it, head down and pressed into Wylan's side. She would do her best not to be recognized, though it was far easier at night than it was late morning.
"What would you consider our first date, then?" She inquired as she led the way north, away from the Tuileries and towards the famed opera house, near to where the department store was located. She hadn't really thought about it until then, but Sonia was reluctant to call the previous evening their first date: they'd both been hungry, for food and other things and were so emotionally wrung out that it simply felt like relief when they'd both been fed. But today...today was different. Today felt lighter, warmer, even if it was simply being held against him as they walked through the busy streets, avoiding various tourists, shoppers, and locals simply wanting to get from point A to point B.
It wasn't a long walk, the most difficult part of it all passing every cafe beginning to ready its outdoor seating for the early lunch crowd. Food and clothes could both be taken care of at the department store and rather well, in fact: she wondered if he'd have any interest in the food halls that spanned the Galeries Lafayette's third building. "Here we are," She announced once they'd arrived: less busy than the main store across the street, she'd taken him to the smaller department store of the three: four floors devoted entirely to men's fashion, accessories, and skincare. She'd grabbed the door first, mostly out of habit: without security detail, she relished in getting her own doors, her own shopping trolleys, her own bills. "Admittedly I haven't shopped for clothes with someone in awhile. What sort of style would you like to get?"
"I dunno, you gave me a run for my money at the arcade back when, didn't you?" A brow lifted at her words as the princess comments on her future spouse's ... accessories. Yes, she may have jewelry but Wylan gained confidence through. Other things. "Calling a 1911 a piece of artillery is being a little dramatic, I think. But having guns at all- yeah, I'm not going to deny maybe it was a bit much. The nine millimeter here was just a uh. Backup. In case something else..."
The more he thinks of trying to explain himself, the more Wylan realizes this is rather silly. Not so much bringing the weapons (you're good there champ) but convincing Sonia of the what's or why's of it. Or maybe he was excessive? Was he thinking excessively?
"I'm happy. Happier than I am disappointed that I didn't need to use them. Either way." All roads lead to that fact. A good way to cap of the idea before he starts getting defensive or something of that sort. Sonia was only teasing after all, flirting with various boundaries now that she had the open field to do so. Wylan smiles, realizing the same could be applying to him right now were it not an existential brew of crisis and realization.
Stewing in that happiness is a decent way to... waste time, he realizes. Basking in the afterglow not of sex (for once), but the way her words had made him felt was. Different. Nice. Appreciated. There's no longer a need to rationalize reasons not to like it, nor is there a need to leap from the window. It'd ruin his clothes, anyway.
"Heh. Yeah. There's been a lot of denial between us for awhile, hasn't there? I don't want to judge my past self too harshly but I think I'd be lying if I said there wasn't times before I ... well. Loved you. Really really enjoyed your presence." And now basking in the intimacy of watching her apply makeup and dress, enjoy her all the more.
Tongue glides over lips.
"So."
Wylan was back onto his feet, personal items put into their favored pockets and the coils of his inner springs preparing to add that spring into his step.
"Is this our first date?" He ponders. "I feel like we could call so many other things we got up to as dates, adding in the hindsight we have now as guy and gal." Comes the punctuation, an arm hooking around to take hers, and pulling the woman up to his side with both their preparations concluded. Door to the greater part of the suite thrown open so the two might venture forth.

I still believe there’s something shady behind this.
I think so, especially given what I know about Kikue...
CHIAKI: From what I'm seeing of Kikue's profile, she score quite low on the exams during the first year.
Indeed and that is the part that confuses me, Kikue would never score that lowly; she actually did the most studying and even her own teacher stated that she would score very high which she was just as confused as the rest of us.
In fact, I think all of us at the time thought Ibuki or Akane was going to get kick out.
CHIAKI: Wait, you mean those 2?
Well of course and I'm not saying that to be harsh or cruel, it was obvious to everyone that either of those 2 were going to get the kick from Class 77, like it or not - that is how Hope's Peak Academy was run.
If you score the lowest of your Class year, one person is to be expelled, no exception; it was the same for our senior year too so studying for the exams was necessary.
So why... why did Kikue get expelled?! I still don't understand how it happen but it did!
...
...
...
Date: July 10th, 2010
*at the library, the girls of Class 77 were all studying together*
Man... why do we gotta study? I really don't wanna study...
But we have to, given that written exams are 50 percent of your exam grade.
Exactly, unless you want to be kick out then you better continue to study, even if you aren't good at it.
Easy for you to say, you 2 got talents that have history while mine is music, not sure why I have to write it and even Akane might do better because se at least has Nekomaru helping her and Shoji is in Class 76 so meaning I'm on my own.
Yeah but even then I tend to fall asleep, it's hard to focus on that stuff when all I can do is perform some tricks.
Yeah... honestly I think for those that have talents that aren't written; we all probably are gonna have a hard time.
Oh well, except for Kikue; she probably grade the highest of us!
*has a bunch of books around her and reading them and writing* ...
Yeah honestly thinking on it, Kikue getting the highest score would be easy.
Say Kikue... can you maybe give us some tips to help us out?
Hey, no cheating Kiriko! I thought that was clear we don't do that!
I know co-student council president but I just figure asking for some tips could be helpful and it's not cheating; just some advice and besides, it's not like we are asking for her notes; after all, it's just to help make studying easier for some of us.
You want some tips? Well, I wouldn't mind to give you all some.
Well if I have to give advice here; I recommend to keep your area clean, it helps when working also background music can really help too.
Whoa so listening to music can help?
Well yeah a psychologist name Francis Rauscher, whose research on music and the brain inadvertently prompted the whole “play classical music to your unborn child” craze, the brain can improve certain cognitive skills so maybe bring some headphones and CDs to listen to and it doesn't have to classical either, whatever music you enjoy and helps with studying should do.
Hmm, okay I guess I can do that; I was always told that not listen to my music but that's useful.
Indeed, as long as your not distracting others; you should be fine. While for Akane, I do recommend bringing some snack foods you can eat while studying; probably fish, nuts, seeds, yogurt and blueberries would help out.
Wait so your saying that food can help with studying too?
Yeah it can, choosing nutritious foods that have been proven to aid concentration and memory, even eating a good meal before exams can help as well. I can make some recommendations of what you can eat if it helps and write them down.
Okay, thanks! I'll be sure to keep that in mind and have Coach Nekomaru get me some.
Thank you so much Kikue, I think having you help us with studying really has help and might make it easier.
It's fine, after all; I think if we all want to success then it's best to work together and try to ask for help; that is what we should be doing so let's keep going.
'Kikue help with study group sessions, giving us all tips and advice to help with our exams, she seem like she would score the highest and even told us that even if we don't success; the best we did is at least try...but... but she didn't pass...'

I just beat Danganronpa 2, and here are my thoughts on it
(WARNING: Ending spoilers for BOTH Danganronpa 2 and AI: The Sonmium Files!!)
Okay, so, when I first started playing Danganronpa 2, I guessed right from the beginning that it was going to be revealed the end that the whole thing was just a video game, and I based the guess off the fact that the intro shows Danganronpa 2 being booted up as some kind of classic game, the whole home menu UI is also based on a classic game menu, and the fact that Monokuma could just turn a cow into a chicken in the first chapter. It became very obvious towards the end, when Monokuma started talking about ‘clearing flags’. It turned out I guessed it right!
Also, I had thought that the Ultimate Imposter was going to have a greater role in the story than just imitating Byakuya. I thought that the imposter would switch identities each time right before getting murdered, imitate the person that would die next, and that it would be revealed that the traitor would be the person the imposter was imitating at the end (I totally got this idea from AI: The Somnium Files and thought that some kind of identity-swapping thing was going on). In chapter 5, I kept waiting for it to be revealed that the traitor was the imposter, but was slightly disappointed that no mention of the imposter was made even after Chiaki confessed to being the traitor. I think I got the idea from the fact that when Chiaki was discussing the Ultimate Imposter with Hajime, she said that ‘they might be that way because they can’t help being that way’, something she repeats in a similar manner later on during the class trial, when explaining that she was the traitor because she ‘couldn’t help being that way’. Also, I thought that the factory on the final island that made humanoids was what had been supplying the Ultimate Imposter with bodies of the next person they were to imitate. I thought that it was pointless to have a imposter imitating Byakuya if they were just going to die in the first chapter anyway and is not involved in the ending or in the overall plot.
I thought that Case 3, which was Mikan’s case, was too predictable as I already guessed everything - whom the culprit was and how they did it - right after they went to the second floor of the hospital and noticed that they could shut off all light in the room with the curtains, and the fact that there were two sets of the exclusive tote bags, along with the fact that Mikan was the only one left alone in the hospital and Hajime didn’t see anyone go in, made it very obvious what had happened. I figured out that she caught the Despair Disease and murdered the victims as a result.
For Case 4, they never answered how Monokuma got them into the Funhouse to begin with. Were they just warped into the Funhouse ‘because it’s a game’?
For Case 5, I thought it was dumb that the person that threw the fire grenade that caused Nagito’s death should be counted as the culprit. Even if someone else had been tricked into dealing the final blow to Nagito, wasn’t it still ultimately by his own actions that Nagito got killed? By that logic, if person A tricks person B into killing person C unknowingly, should person B be the blackened because person C died by person B’s actions? Didn’t Monokuma have a rule that the mastermind would be counted as the blackened?
Also, in this same chapter, Chiaki immediately tapped her handbook on the reader but it gave a ‘wrong’ sound. Did Nagito actually not know who the traitor was, thus he programmed the reader to give a ‘wrong’ sound no matter who puts their handbook on the reader? If so, that explains why he said in his video message after that, that he guessed the traitor didn’t come forward. But then why did Chiaki voluntarily put her handbook on the reader when she knew the bombs were fake? If she didn’t know they were fake, I would have assumed that she was trying to come forward as the traitor, but since she did know, was she putting her handbook on the reader just to see if it would really stop the bombs, or to see if Nagito really knew who the traitor was?
For the ending, I was disappointed and thought that it was boring that the villain of the game was just Junko again. I had expected that one of the 16 students would be revealed to be the mastermind all along, like in the first game or in the Zero Escape series. For some reason I thought it was going to be Ibuki as I thought I had spoiled myself on an image of Ibuki turning evil just like with Junko in the first game.

*Meanwhile, in another part of the hotel*
Are...Are you serious about this?
I’m afraid so. Looking over the evidence Masa gave me, there’s no doubt in my mind.
As soon as this gets out, people are going to want answers, and the brunt of the consequences are going to hit people like you all.
The scale of this is just...
Shit...
But...what about Suzuko? Or Taro?
Chiaki, Mahiru, none of them had anything to do with any of this!
Seriously, what’s gonna happen to them? I’m prepared to sue if necessary.
It’s not as though any of us wanted to use nepotism to let them in!
Hey! Please, everyone, calm down. We’ll get this figured out.
These are the facts: Nijiue Ayato used his connections to get Nanami Harumi kicked out from what would’ve been her position in Class 49. Sato Emina, later Nijiue Emina, received her position instead. That we know for certain.
...
So, if this comes to light, what happens?
Well, the good news is that you’ll finally be recognized for your talents.
The Nijiue’s meddling means that the police lost their best investigator. They’ll be quick to issue an apology and you may even get some job offers from law enforcement.
Seriously? They’ll give Haru her job back?
Sure, but not if it means everyone else loses theirs. How many people is this going to affect?
...A lot of people. Probably a few thousand, at least.
I was afraid of that.
...Including me, right?
But Hitoshi-kun, you weren’t part of that plan! They shoved you in at the last minute! How is that your fault?!
Yeah, c’mon man! You’re a great construction worker! You helped with that investigation in Seoul!
Yeah, but you think that matters?
I didn’t get in on my own merits. I was there to fill up space, probably because they decided they didn’t want a cage match or something just a week before our class started.
I knew I didn’t belong there.
But it isn’t your fault!
It doesn’t matter. Just tell me, does Mahiru lose her place in Class 77 because of this?
That depends: has she done anything worth getting kicked out?
No. Not to my knowledge, but...maybe Kaori could tell you more.
Alright, all I need is a bit of cooperation from you all. When this comes up, I’ll get all the pieces together and help you all as best I can.
I can’t promise I can keep you all from being stripped of your titles, but I’ll make sure the blame gets passed squarely onto those who’ve earned it.
And knowing the Steering Committee, if they or anyone else want to escalate things, I’m prepared to do the same.
Well, here’s my question, Esumi-san. Not that I don’t trust you, but I’d like to know just what makes you sure they’ll listen to you.
It sounds to me like you’ve got personal experience with this sort of thing.
You wouldn’t happen to have connections, would you?
Sharp as ever, Ouma-san. You’re right, I do.
Before even your time in Hope’s Peak, I was one of their original scouts. When I graduated, they had me go cross-country, looking for the best of the best.
So I know a thing or two about just what sort of things could put everyone at risk. I know how the people in charge of that school work.

Are there any characterizations you don't like for your favorite danganronpa characters?
There aren't really all that many since people are free to interpret these characters however they want, but there are one or two that bug me based on what I've seen so far.
Trigger Happy Havoc - Makoto Naegi:
Okay so before I get too far into this I want to start by saying that I watched the anime a few years ago and I only really got into the games themselves fairly recently, so I was already kind of biased towards Makoto. That being said, I don't really like it when people just brush him off as being stupid.
I try not to focus too hard on the production side of things when it comes to character analysis, because it's quite easy to brush off everything about a character as "that's what the creators wanted" which I don't really find satisfying, but in this case I find it necessary.
Makoto is the protagonist, which means he's the character the player uses to interact with the world around them. Now, what that means is that a lot of the exposition we get either comes from Makoto's internal monologues or questions you can get him to ask the other characters. That's the core of the role he plays.
Now when it comes to the class trials, we are playing them from Makoto's perspective. It makes sense that he'd need more of the details explained to him when compared to characters like Kirigiri and Togami, since his understanding of the situation has a much more significant impact on the difficulty level for the player.
This isn't necessarily as important in the anime since at that point the flow of the narrative is out of our hands, but it does still have some effect since he's still the protagonist which means he's still the character who we learn a lot of the exposition from. Makoto also falls into the same bracket as other protagonists from anime that use video games as the source material, the anime can only follow one version of his character as opposed to the different variations that come from playing the game so maybe there are times where he falls flat compared to characters who don't have the same restrictions. But that doesn't change the fact that, as the protagonist, we hear a lot of his thought process and we see what he sees.
Makoto is an observant character. Sure, he's no Ultimate Detective, but that doesn't change the fact that he notices things other characters either don't pick up on, or choose not to comment on. In one of the class trials he was able to figure out who the blackened was because they mentioned a colour. The detail was only mentioned by the blackened once, and casually enough that it didn't register to most of the remaining characters. But Makoto noticed it.
There are other examples but I still have other characters to talk about so I'm going to leave this section here.
Goodbye Despair - Chiaki Nanami:
Admittedly I don't really have anything to say here since I don't really remember much of what happened in the 77th's appearance in the anime and I still need to watch another let's play of Goodbye Despair, so I don't really remember a whole lot about her character other than she was my favourite.
With that in mind I also haven't searched for content for her as much as I have my other favourites so I haven't really come across any characterisations for her that I don't like. I might update this in the future after I've done that.
Killing Harmony - Kokichi Ouma:
Where do I even start with this gremlin?
I'm only going to be talking about his in-game character since the pre-game stuff is its own can of worms.
We don't really know a whole lot about Kokichi as a person and anything that we do find out is questionable because of the whole "liar" thing. But, to me, the thing that stands out the most about his character is how "grey" he is. Sure, he's an asshole and he's a manipulator but he's not completely evil.
A lot of his actions are influenced by the fact that he's in a killing game (yes, I know that doesn't make him unique since all of the characters are in the same situation), so a lot of what he does do is most likely done with the intention of staying alive...at least until the situation changes, at which point you can pretty much draw whatever conclusions you want.
The fact still remains, Kokichi is a morally grey character. So when it comes to characterisations I don't like for him? That's actually fairly simple, I'm not a big fan of characterisations that either paint him as this angelic figure or as the spawn of Satan. Because he is neither of those things. There are times where he isn't doing anything particularly malicious, there are moments where he takes it too far and crosses lines he probably shouldn't have crossed, and there are a fairly high number of occasions where it really wasn't clear just what he was trying to achieve.
Kokichi is a difficult character to get right, it's something that a lot grey characters have in common. But labeling him as a saint or a devil ignores other - equally important - aspects of his character.
