As much as I hate Buddie being seperated, I do really love how it highlights how unique Buck and Eddies relationship is compared to their respective relationships with the rest of the 118.

And the whole thing feels like a callback to season 3 when Buck was worried about whats going to happen to him, when the current 118 inevitably does their seperate ways. Will Buck end up like Red? Having no family or friends because he devoted his life to being a fire fighter?

And here we are 5 seasons later with Buck and Eddie hundreds of miles away from eachother, and not tied together because of their careers, but because they genuinely care for eachother on a personal level. They're cooking together while on facetime, and Buck is giving Eddie parenting advice, and it's like second nature to them to just continue to have eachother in their lives.

And that parallel is my favorite thing about these last few episodes.

A sea of green splattered with the vibrant hues of varying wildflowers rolled across the meadow in gentle waves, flattening into a soft bed of earth beneath me, my head resting on my lovers chest, bare legs winding through his muscled thighs.

We’d laid in silence for an hour, the melody of spring lulling us into a peaceful daze. I’d spent the morning weaving flowers into his silken hair, his emerald eyes not retreating from me once as I sat on his chest, fingers trailing through those golden locks I adored so.

The world saw him as another heir to a throne but to me, he was a poet, a musician, a muse. I could spend entire days admiring the sculpted features of his face, exploring plush lips with my own.

Neither of us were made for the courtly affairs we were born into, we had the passionate souls of creatives - and here, tangled beside the pool of starlight we were just that. Two artists captivated by the beauty of the world around us, by eachother.

Tamlin pressed a kiss to my forehead, whispering into my raven hair. “Will we be poets in another life?”

I warmed at the thought of him chasing me through space and time, living the vibrant lives that we only dared dream of, dancing the nights away, making love and art in all of its magnificent forms. He’d write limericks and play the fiddle, I’d paint and maybe even learn to play the piano.

We’d live in a studio apartment along the Sidra, sharing our art within the rainbow of Velaris. Or perhaps we’d live in one of the more liberal cities tucked away on the continent where art as a profession was respected and not seen as merely a hobby of the elite with time to spare. Another world, even, where war and grief did not exist.

My delicate fingers traced the curved ridges of his abdomen, “You’ll be the poet, I’ll be the painter. I don’t have the way with words that you and your silver tongue do.”

He raised an eyebrow. “Silver tongue, yeah?”

I hummed at the implication in his tone. “Yeah.”

Turning on his side to face me, head propped on a hand he held my face gently in the broad palm of the other. “Any world where I spend my days by your side, putting my tongue to use in either lyrical or the most salacious of ways is a world I would fight for.”

“Hmmm.” I pondered, tucking a lock of golden hair behind his ear. “In our world, we get to be lovers, not fighters.”

Tamlin let out a somewhat incredulous laugh. “I think you’ll always have that wild streak in you, and silver tongue or not, I am but a mere male. I’ll surely give you plenty of reason to fight a time or two.”

My teeth found my lower lip as I considered. He wasn’t wrong. “That’s not fighting, it’s passion. We’ll turn fighting and fucking into its own art.”

Tamlin’s hand dropped from my face, trailing along my breast, to the indention of my waist, and down to the curvature of my ass. With a little squeeze he only asked, “Yeah?”

“Yeah.”

We made love in the meadow, tumbling in the grasses, playing the passionate parts of poet and muse. It was almost- almost believable, until a male voice called from the forest. “Tamlin! Get your ass back to the manor before father has your head.”

Tamlin stiffened. “You need to go.” He pressed a desperate kiss to my lips. “See you in a few days?”

I frowned. “I have to travel with my mother to Windhaven this weekend but once I’m back, we can plan our great escape.”

He looked at me as if he were truly considering it and honestly, if he ever took me up on the idea, I’d go for it. A life of love and peace, what a life that would be.

Pressing one final kiss to my forehead he whispered. “I’ll see you soon, my love. Go before my brother sees you.”

Tamlin hurried into the forest and I could have sworn a whispered, “Who was that?” carried on the wind to me.

And now I wait where fate and stars align.

where is Mutant Madhouse set?

I thought it would be interesting for this iteration to be set somewhere other than New York, i don’t know how I landed on Mississippi of all places, but i did. And thats where they live.

Do the turtles live in the sewers?

originally they did, but then i thought what if they had a different upbringing and lived in the more dense woods. So now they live under Stuckeys bridge just outside of Meridian, Mississippi.

What is the lair like?

its not exactly a lair per say, more like multiple tree houses. Each tree house is a turtles room and is connected to the others via zip lines, walkways and ladders. Splinter has his own little cabin on the ground.

Splinters cabin: this is his place, containing the dojo, kitchen and his bedroom. Because he lives in the woods, there is no electricity. They live off animals that Donnie hunts for food every now and then, granola bars, beans etc

foods you don’t need a fridge for.

Leos lair: leo loves his little hidey hole high up in the trees, it’s quite spacious and even has an elevator to a canopy lookout, so he can survey the stars of a nighttime. There is no roof, instead there is an open skylight (no glass) with a curtain that moves across to cover the room if he wants less light.

no money, April brings them cheap things from garage sales and thrift stores, so the boys have an abundant supply of things that fuel their interests. Leo has a telescope, comics, field journals for his love of astronomy. Raph has art and craft supplies to keep him busy making stuff for himself and his family, plus his photography supplies. April brings Donnie scrap metal and old, broken objects so he can keep himself busy. Donnie also has planners filled with his daily routine, years worth of journaling. Mikey has a huge collection of comics and trading cards, clay for the sculptures he makes and paints to color his creations.

what is the origin of the mutagen?

the kranng created the mutagen. Their planet was sucked into a black hole, and the entire species has traveled the galaxy to find a new home. The landed on earth and realized It wasn’t suitable for their purposes, yet…

Oroku saki, had always been interested in science, and eventually he went to university to earn a degree in chemistry and biochemistry, his plan was to get a job and earn some money, pay for college and move away to America to get away from the abuse inflicted by the Hamato clan.

He ended up using his degree in a different way than intended.

shredder is helping them perfect the mutagen for his own purposes and because of their alliance with eachother.

technically speaking, yes there is a battle nexus. In season 5, mikey attacks a police officer and is arrested, because he’s a mutant, he’s taken to this fighting ring. The police have a deal with the ring operatives, “keep the mutants away from the public, and we we will drop your prior charges” mikey has to fight in the ring to the death, while Raph is critically injured in the hospital, and Donnie, April and Leo testify in court for mutant rights.

Season 5 is really crazy (if i ever actually get around to writing a fanfic)

yes, the kranng have 3 major species. The ones that disguise themselves as humans and live on earth, the ones that maintain the ship and work with shredder, and the rest of them.

and the only way i can describe the rest of them is “think of the cupcake from fnaf movie” lol

what is going on with the foot clan?

the foot clan is run by shredder. he basically, brought the clan back from the dead. Turns out, there were a ton of kids who had parents in the foot clan that want revenge on the hamato clan. He employed these kids and trained them, gave them a place to stay, food and a little bit of money, flew them to foot clan headquarters and gave them tasks. These kids see him as a father figure, and a way for revenge on the hamato clan.

Oroku saki created the mutants with kranngs help. There are the first gen mutants, and the second gen.

is the hamato clan history relevant? How did the clan originate?

The hamato clan is a lie. There is no good guy or bad guy when it comes to both clans. These clans both ended so many innocent lives.

Yoshi’s father wasn't the peacekeeping elder, the clan was led to believe and Saki wasnt treated fairly, like yoshi thought. His father kept him in The dark over how badly the clan abused saki. Yoshi knew he hadn’t been the best brother, he’d been cocky and arrogant, teasing saki relentlessly. He hadn’t seen the signs, how thin and sickly saki was compared to him, when they both grew up in the same clan.

They were just boys, and they were lied to and manipulated to believe this lie. Saki’s father was killed by Yoshi’s father and he only found out when he was an adult.

The past of these clans is confusing, Both sides say the other is the bad guy. Both clans brainwashed and manipulated the young men going into battle to believe that who they were fighting were the villain. And always had been.

It got to a point. There was a war, the foot clan was wiped out (the children of the foot clan were taken somewhere safe) saki was thought to be the last one, he was just an infant at the time. The elder held a sword above sakis head and hesitated, even he wasnt evil enough to murder an infant. Still, he couldn’t let it known that the heir of the foot clan was alive.

The lie story is taught as such: “the foot clan like a stain was wiped clean, leaving only an infant that was lovingly raised by the hamato clan elder. There was peace, between the clans…. finally.”

Yes, he works for Bishop and the EPF. He created Raph and raised him for 4 years before the turtle tot escaped.

Baxter is clinically insane and has to be watched 24/7 by Bishop, Who is the young mans adopted father.

Yes, hes the head of the EPF (earth protection force) and Baxter Stockmans adopted father. He protects the earth (sort of) from threats; aliens, mutants etc ; he is evil incarnate, and wants to understand how everything works, including mutants. Any way possible. He’s a mad scientist, A psychopath if you will.

He plays a major role in Donnie’s arc in season 4.

Splinter is so proud of him for all his years of leading his brothers through so many terrifying experiences.

Donnie and Raph are, donnie handles medicine and first aid that doesn’t involve blood or bodily fluids.

Raph handles cuts and bloody noses, lacerations and stab wounds etc. he’s also in charge of stitches, (Donnie’s hands shake too much)

when Raph was younger and more volatile, he’d end up up making holes in his walls due to his anger issues and have to give himself stitches.

Who is the best cook?

Mikey and Leo (surprisingly) And Donnie, since he catches most of their food.

Donnie handles heat and boiling food. Leo grills food, and mikey catches fish and can make perfect toast using a blowtorch.

who is the best fighter?

Leo, and Mikey.

Leo uses his small size to his advantage and mikey uses his huge stature and strength to his advantage.

None of the boys are bad fighters.

Leo is agile and fast. He’s the best at stealth. And moves in when close combat is needed.

Mikey is strong. Like really strong. Hes uses intimidation and unexpected moves to fight. You can never anticipate what he’ll do next.

Raph also uses close combat. He’s fast and uses nature to propel him towards opponents. He will jump off trees and swing in on a vine. Unfortunately he is very loud, so most of his opponents know when hes coming to attack.

Donnie uses his bow staff and attacks from further away. He uses more gadgets than actually fighting. Smoke bombs, blinding powder etc are his best friends.

They are all skilled in each others weapons, splinter made sure of that.

Splinter’s blind. He started losing his eyesight after he was mutated, the mutagen was thrown at his face and he was left permanently scarred. He had a few alright years, before his sight was completely gone.

Raph suffers a spinal cord injury in season 4. It leaves his legs paralyzed. He uses a wheelchair.

Leo has a cane, from his knee injury, he suffers from severe tremors in his hands from time to time, and chronic pain in his chest.

Donnie has brain damage and suffers from seizures, he also had his left foot (above the heel) amputated after an infection killed the tissue in his foot, from his time with bishop.

Mikey (very much like rise Raph)suffered brain damage and becomes feral when alone, after his time in the fighting ring in season 5.

Heyo spy ! and YEAHHHHH the rivals !!!! (at least in my hc)

Their relationship started off... a little rocky to say the least. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't the cheating that threw don off (after all, he brings a rose and perfume into the ring), but rather aran's (in don's opinion) ridiculous red hairdo and green shorts that make him look like a christmas ornament. Aran on the other hand found Don ridiculously pompous and vain, which made him all the more fun to prank.

So how'd they start to get along? Well... one day when Don decides enough is enough, he decides to take revenge. He pranks aran back in the best way he knows how, by replacing his conditioner with green hair dye, so aran's hair turns green. Aran, instead of becoming angry, just... laughs. and laugh and laugh and laughs. He didn't think a scrawny little dick like Don had it in him to prank him back, and invites him for a pint. Don in turn, becomes incredibly flustered, and goes ''what??? sure??? i guess???'', thinking he agreed to a fight. Aran pats him on the back and leaves. After he comes to his senses and learns what ''a pint'' means, he screams internally ''WHAT DID I JUST AGREE TO?!?!?!''

So how does their outing go? Well, Don is obviously nervous as hell, thinking he walked into a death trap, but he surprisingly enjoyed himself a lot! and consequentially, started to appreciate someone outside of the major circuit reaching out to him (because after all, who doesn't want to go out with the GREAT don flamenco???). It doesn't happen as often, since Don tends to come off rather strong to others, which he doesn't realize. Aran in turn, CAN handle that part of his personality, and found him to be great fun.

It's essentially a slow burn, enemies to lovers relationship going from ''we're equal fighters and I Hate you'' to ''we're equal fighters with mutual respect for one another'' to ''Shit i think i like this asshole''

If it wasn't obvious yet, they're both VERY competitive. It's the best way they connect, but also occasionally a source of conflict. Don envies Aran for not having to train as much and relying much more on his luck. Aran meanwhile Loves pushing this guy's buttons which is just the way he shows affection, but it can sometimes backfire.

Theyre ALL for PDA, the more mushy n embarrassing the better. They'll usually try to one-up eachother. And if anyone tries to bother them ab it? Aran's got Don covered.

Complete polar opposites in sleep wear. Aran wears boxer shorts and a tanktop, whereas Don wears red silk pajamas with a sleeping mask and a bonnet.

Don likes to do Aran's hair. Don's love language in general is physical intimacy and taking care of his loved ones. Aran will never admit it to anyone except Don, but he enjoys it immensely. Makes him feel very loved.

They WILL dominate the dance floor together every time they're at the club. In turn, they also teach other their native dances !

Aran likes to prank Don with his toupee a lot and it gets Don Everytime. One time, he pretended the toupee was a rat and screamed for Don's help.

Pickle stood there waiting for you to make the move, you had no choice…you ran to pickle as he was getting ready to swing he felt those same arms that held him whenever he was sad, he the arms that rocked him to sleep. He felt them wrap around his torso barely being able to wrap around all the way, his eyes widened as he slowly put his hands down and hugged back. The crowd was silent as one person from the crowed stood up and clapped…slowly the arena filled with cheers and claps as they clapped out of you 2 showing your respect and love towards eachother.

Why, in the world that Sabine never gave Ezra Bridger the credit that he’s ever done for her throughout Rebels… my personal take that Ezra Bridger was overlooked and unappreciated.

Ezra did everything for Sabine Throughout Rebels

1.Ezra Gave the Tie Fighter for Sabine to Spray painted 2. Ezra tries to help Sabine training, Sabersticks in rebels season3 (trials of the darksaber.)3 and lastly, Ezra save Sabine 7 times through missions in 3 seasons even though in Ahsoka series, saving Sabine twice in one mission,,. Including rescuing Sabine‘s father. From Rebels Season 4 to Ahsoka Series Sabine has develop her feelings for Ezra , through 10 years of the timeline.. and on the other hand, but in episode 6 why the the directors including Dave Filoni, did not show the real emotion of Sabine & Ezra’s reunion? They act like they see eachother for days and that is a red flag.🚩

I guess it’s time they need to wake up and open their eyes and face the reality. The writers and directors got it all wrong and that is also criticizing the show.

And let’s be real Sabine wren has never seen Ezra Bridger in 10 MF years! And never showed the realistic emotion? I find that out why in the writers are making Sabine like a hypocrite and act like never have feelings for Ezra.

egging on the Star Wars ramblings, what’s ur opinion on Leia and Han Solo?

Okay, Leia was my hyperfixation (along with R2-D2!!!) from age seven to twelve. She is an icon and so badass. I wish they would have explored her relationship with the force! As much as she is a wonderful rebel, fighter, and diplomat, it would have been cool to see her as a jedi. She might be "Princess Leia," but in my heart, she is a queen. I dressed as her for Halloween and May 4th many times. Han Solo is such a fun character. I'm obsessed with those characters that are lowkey assholes but then they try to be like "nah im just doing this for the money/reward idgaf" and then they fall in love and find a found family and at the heart they're actually a pretty soft guy. Also characters that have their own set of morals like, its alright to lie cheat or steal but you also have to be loyal to your folks and at least have your word/your hand shake mean something. (Though in his case his word is nott very reliable considering lies, he tells Jabba the Hut and even Lando. But this changes kinda changes as the story goes on). Also as a bonus Chewbacca is iconic, and their friendship is cool‼️

Leia × Han is iconic okayy liike. They don't need each other to be awesome, but they're awesome together aswell. They save each other multiple times (?) and they're basically competing NOT to be the damsel in distress. They're both beautiful, and together they're bi-panic + gender goals for me. They're a wee bit toxic but in the way that makes it sooo entertaining. The "I love you" "I know" line was iconic, and some people didn't get it. My mom misunderstood it as one of Han's sassy self-absorbed quips, but it's clearly saying "you don't even have to tell me after what we've been through together and how we are when we're together," plus a reassurance that he was not going to get frozen in carbonite not knowing how she felt. Also, I think Han is the type of guy who really has trouble saying I love you, but he really does love with his whole heart. I like the way when it starts out he thinks she's just gonna be some naive rich princess, and she thinks he's just some asshole smuggler, but they come to really respect eachother.

Anywayy and then Disney divorced them and I'm so fucking mad. I don't even choose to believe it. They're the type of couple to not even get married for a while and then elope right after some mission and then be married forever,,, because I said so. PLUS they have a son and he's evil???? (And kinda ugly,, like their kid would not be ugly idk they made him look sickly.) AND HE KILLS HAN BY JUST PUSHING HIM OFF A LEDGE???. Not a meaningful death, not a heroic death. Not the type of death that would fit Han Solo. Instead, he just gets pushed off a rail by his son, who is upsetty spaghetti cuz his parents got divorced and did a bad job raising him??? The son of two of the greatest rebels in the galaxy would not be a evil. And also if Leia and Han got divorced, they would still raise an amazing kid.

For how long this blog has been around I've never actually sat down and typed out how my collection of muses see eachother. Each arrow below breaks everything down and most of these have years of characterization and Discord plotting behind them.

-> Kanjigar

Draal is his only son. Kanjigar loves him with every fiber of his being, even though he did have to distance himself for so long while doing his duty as Hunter. He harbours many regrets for his actions but has been given a second chance, so he's working towards making any amends possible so they both can have a chance to heal.

Jim is new - but full of promise. Even though there have been hiccups here and there, Kanjigar likes and respects the youth enough to offer what wisdom he has to make sure Jim can survive, and be a more elder voice of logic in rough times.

Hagel is one of his closest friends out of the entirety of the OC crew. She was one of his first and only Gumm-Gumm Reformers, and throughout the years he grew to trust her through repeated contact. Their physical interactions are always in amicable light, sharing tea and food as well as stories even though Hagel is not required any longer to see him regularly.

Renjai is a troll of reputation. She's someone that he's not had a lot of interactions with - yet he has seen plenty of her work ethic as well as heard enough tales of her exploits from Draal to hold her in high esteem. In his opinion any Kiltar is a good thing to have in defense of Trollmarket; but it's even better to have one as decorated as Razorback there.

When it comes to Alex and Sturm, Kanjigar knows they are local as he has seen them around. He is also aware they interact with his son, but he's had little experience with them both himself so far, thus he has formed no defined opinions. That being said he is certainly more wary of Sturm compared to Alex as he suspects the electromancer is another Gumm-Gumm underneath those traveler robes; as neither cause issues in the Market, however, the old hunter has had no official reason to confront or persecute them.

-> Draal

Draal is very much his father's child. His love and devotion to Kanjigar runs deep - even though many wounds have been given throughout the years with his sire being distant. Now that the Fates gave him back, and offered a second chance, and the duo are making amends whenever their schedules align.

Jim may be tiny, but he is mighty and determined. Everything he's done so far has defied odds, making Draal all the prouder to be associated with him both as an ally and in family. Wherever the human Hunter decides to go, Draal will most likely be someplace nearby to keep a protective eye on him.

Renjai is a troll that Draal is a huge fan of when it comes to her professional life. He's attended a lot of her fights, and cheered her on many times both in the Kiltarheim and Trollmarket. He's even more delighted that he managed to achieve friendship with the pit fighter. She's a rarity in trolls that outmatch him - and he hopes maybe one day he can match her in combat capabilities. (Dependent on verse, he's crushing on her - ship tag: renjaal).

Alex, to Draal, is an odd one - in a good way. A changeling, but one that defies it's nature, is unheard of in the troll world. After causing him and her many levels of conflict after the female's status discovery, he's still somewhat surprised that she weathered it all and is a loyal friend. Shes a voice of calm compared to most of his circle; while Draal is not exactly sure what brings so many creatures of her ilk into his life, she's the only shapeshifter that has earned (and kept) his protective axe.

Sturm is a little bit of an enigma Draal is trying to unravel. After temporary butting of heads in Market encounters, tensions were smoothed away and tolerance allowed - and now the tinkertroll bull is a source of curiosity for the fighter. He's never known any troll to have magic like the hybrid does, nor such a understanding of machinery like him; and through much conversation Draal has managed to pry back a bit of the shell to secure a friendship with the other. He very much likes socializing with the other and listening to them talk about whatever topic is on hand - unlike Blinky. (Dependent on verse, he's crushing on him - ship tag: Sturaal).

He's had very little interactions with anyone aside from Kanjigar and Draal, as well as Alex.

He's in awe of the skill Kanjigar possesses, so he holds him up on a somewhat 'superhero'-ensue pedestal that he can learn from in his tenure of Trollhunter; he's not yet come to learn this version of Kanjigar is a Revenant. Draal on the other hand he loves to pieces as a elder (troll) sibling and takes everything he does with thoughtfulness and care - and subjects him/is subjected to his fair share of shenanigans.

When it comes to Alex, the young Hunter is clueless to her nature. He simply thinks she's a cool library/teacher's assistant that has an interest in the sciences and arts. He appreciates that she's relaxed and approachable, and that holds true as well in the rare instances he finds her in Trollmarket selling her hunts or herbs in her true form.

Renjai he admires at an arm's length. She's terrifying and powerful in the same way Draal was when he first saw him; Jim has not worked the nerve to talk to her yet.

He's only recently gotten wind of Hagel, so soon they may become good friends.

Jim has no idea that Sturm exists yet.

Everyone has head the stories of the great Kanjigar the Courageous. To meet him in the flesh was not something Renjai expected to do, and yet she has maintained her composure and given the Revenant high esteem and wonder even if they have not spoken too much aside from the pub. He's earned it.

Draal, in her eyes, is everything a honourable Kiltar should be. Proud, skilled in the art of combatives, and mighty. The admiration is something that is a wayside bonus from her popularity and a source for amusement sometimes - but she much prefers the brawler as a friend and drinking companion over a fan as he's one of the few who can keep up with her, and one of the few of her species that she can allow herself to put faith in. (Dependent on verse, she crushes on him. Ship tag: Renjaal)

Renjai watches Jim's progress from afar, and marvels at how quickly he adapts and grows. At the same time she pities him - as he is but a child wearing the responsibilities of adults to kill and defend. In the near future, she's decided, she will approach him and offer her trainings just like Draal and Kanjigar have already done.

Much like Draal, after Renjai learned what Alex was, she gave her much grief. Renjai fully wanted her dead, once upon a time, before the small shapeshifter proved herself worthy of not finding her demise at the end of a spear. Now there has been gained respect and friendship to the point of forgiveness and defense if ever necessary. If anyone ever asks: yes, even Renjai is baffled in her turn of emotions.

Hagel is a good troll. Even if she was a Gumm-Gumm once, she Reformed at the hands of Kanjigar. Renjai deals with her from time to time, and shares a polite word and a meal. It's almost like being around one of the kinder Kiltar smith elders back home.

She's not very sure about Sturm. Renjai has seen him lurking about once or twice, but has never actually seen his face from the traveler's garb he chooses to wear each time he is in Market. She's got her eye on him if anything ever goes sour though.

Alex is the one who is somehow on good terms with nearly every muse.

The only person she's not managed to befriend in any way is Kanjigar - and that is mainly due to the fact that she's wary of his previous status of Trollhunter and his life experiences. She keeps her head down around him and minds her business; yet she also respects everything he's achieved and held together in the world of trolls by himself. He's a mighty individual, even without amulet.

With both Draal and Renjai it took some time to earn their friendship as the taught prejudice of changelings runs deep. She was scared of them at first, for they could kill her without effort; yet with enough time, proximity, and trials, she eventually proved herself as on the side of good to the warriors and developed an amicable bond with them. She appreciates their companionship more that she'll admit out loud and counts them in her small circle of true friends

Jim is a good kid. She likes talking to him whenever she can, and just relaxing whenever the youth can take a moment to himself and breathe. He's genuinely curious and she's happy to teach and has befriended him to an extent in the human world - but is internally fearful of the day he figures her out. She does not know how he'd respond to even more of her kind in his life.

Alex adores the things Hagel can do, and how nice she is. Such a friendly troll is a rarity - and she loves to trade with the giant Gadag whenever there's the chance. She's got the sneaking suspicion Hagel has probably adopted her at this point, but she doesn't overly care.

Sturm is... Like her, in many aspects. They both came from the same place, knew similar horrors, and knew similar pains for not being 'normal'. After working through a jagged start of simple trades, suspicion, and polite words into something more amicable the two quickly became good friends. She's more than grateful that he became another of her circle instead of an enemy.

His default is cautious when it comes to others. Sturm is well aware of the threat he can be perceived as, and as such, has had very limited contact with the collective muse group; the only two he's had sustained interaction with is Alex and Draal.

Kanjigar is suspicious of him, and Sturm knows it. He actively avoids being in the older bull's line of sight to mitigate the risk of conflict, and the same goes for most other muses.

As he's heard the whisperings of Renjai's exploits the electromancer does not trust that she will not target a Gumm-Gumm in the Market in the name of it's defense. He keeps a wide berth from the she-troll whenever she roams.

Now that Jim is present, Sturm tries to keep to himself as he has no idea how a human would react to someone such as himself. So far it's been going well enough - coupled with the fact he only goes to Trollmarket once or twice a year.

Alex is what would be considered his best friend. They both suffered in the Darklands, but prevailed against all odds - and happen to be tinkertrolls in different veins. She trades many things with him and spends a decent chunk of her free time in his presence. In turn the bull has done similar, and has crafted gifts from time to time in gratitude for being someone he feels he can put his confidence and comfort in.

Draal... Dependent on verse that's a pile of complicated feelings that Sturm is still working on sifting through. Both of them are on agreeable terms, friends even though the Kiltar is the son of the previous Trollhunter. Sturm admires many of the fighter's traits - and hopes eventually he can be just as confident as Draal is in certain aspects of his own self. (Dependent on verse, Sturm is crushing on him - ship tag: Sturaal).

Hagel is only known to him as a chef troll. He's never walked that far into Market to see her, or figure out who she is in relation to him.

This troll is on friendly terms to almost everyone, just like Alex.

Kanjigar is held in high esteem - mainly as he gave her a chance to change her life and make a place for herself someplace where she could actually do some good rather than harm. Even though her Reformer trials are over, the she-troll is happy to continue the tradition of visiting whenever time permits.

The son of the Trollhunter might be a touch gruff still, but neither of them bear ill will towards eachother and are rather friendly at this point in time.

Renjai is another that Hagel on good terms with - but so far the duo do not visit too much aside from business in association with a good cooked meal. Hagel understands and is simply happy that she is trusted.

Alex trades good supplies to Hagel and is very polite! Hagel suspects the Leodarin is not a true troll, and yet finds that she does not care terribly about that. Anyone who is on agreeable terms, makes an effort to be a friend, and sometimes even cooks alongside her, is more than welcome in her home.

So far the Gadag has only seen Jim in passing. As soon as Hagel learns he is a cook though then the she-troll is going to be delighted that he's not just a fighter. Overjoyed, even, and she'll want to share recipes with the youth and learn if human methods compare to the Gadag way.

Her and Sturm have not been reunited yet. She holds constant guilt about the series of events that happened, and thinks he is still lost to the Darklands. Hagel fails to notice the other Gadag in the instances he does make trips to Market as he never comes close enough to her dwell.

How does it go when SMASH! Wukong meets his Macaque? What does he think of him? Did he live up to expectations?

I've made a post giving a vague idea of how the different Wukongs met their Macaques; here.

Smash!Wukong and Mac keep *almost* meeting so often that eventually their respective factions (Wukong's Maverick fighters + Mac's Umbra fighters) end up calling a truce to get these dense mfs together.

It turns into almost a heist to steer the monkeys into eachothers paths. All attempts fail until Smash!SWK and LEM get distracted while both looking at their phones and bonk straight into eachother.

Wukong's reaction is like when Bart met Laura.

Smash!LEM: "Ow. You ok there?" Smash!SWK (thinking): "He's beautiful. Say something clever!" Smash!SWK: "I fell on my bottom." Smash!LEM: *starts laughing from the randomness of it all* Smash!SWK, falling more in love: "Yes!"

Consider it a meet-cute gone right.

It takes Macaque less than a few minutes to recognise Wukong as well... Wukong. But they're a little taken aback by how shy The Monkey King is in real life.

Wukong is half-way through their introductory maybe-a-date at boba tea place when he recognises the way Mac fixes his hair (yes he was looking adoringly) that his brain provides; "Hey doesn't he remind you of...?". Wukong's brain does a big red buzzing sound like he's on a game show, and he's tempted to dash right there. But Mac comes back from the counter with their tea and some cakes and Wukojng thinks "Oh ok. Maybe I'll freak out after the date ends."

He forgets to ever freak out about it.

"SixEaredMoon's" livestream chat wonders why SWK goes goes doe-eyed now whenever he gets pranked by Mac's impression of him.

Nightmare Polycule: The cursed creation of like. 4 people on a niche fandom discord. Polycule consisting of pretty much every adult character in the series. It's awful and somehow the best thing ever. The potential for both crack and angst is unmatched. The divorced parents energy is OFF THE CHARTS. Marcia realizes she is a morosexual and has a crisis about it. Gringe confronts his prejudices by falling for a no-good wizard. Jillie Djinn is Marcia's ex and also dead and also GHOSTING ON HER COUCH which makes it very hard to bring her boyfriends over. Marcellus tries to be dramatic about the fleetingness of human life (except his) and gets made fun of until he confronts his trauma instead. Sarah and Mrs Gringe are having tea and getting a break from the drama.

Obi wan/grievous: Ok so this is a HUGE crackship and some people are not going to agree but like, Obi-Wan is what comes to mind when you think of the jedi and Grievous hates the jedi as a whole because he believes them to the cause of his mutilation and the suffering of his people, but the jedi are not the ones who did this. Grievous is a pawn in the game of the sith and he doesn't realize that his mind has been altered against his wishes or that he will be disposed of as soon as the war ends. Obi-Wan is a compassionate man and is able to consistently go toe to toe with Grievous, making him a rival Grievous can't help but respect in a weird way (his people are warriors, for all we know, fighting could be a method of flirting to his people yaknow? And obiwan genuinely flirts as a way to throw off his enemies, think of the comedic potential if Obi-Wan didnt realize how MUCH hes been a flirt or if Grevious actually gets flustered by it because obiwan is such a competent fighter and IF ONLY HE WASNT THE ENEMY-) If Obi-Wan knew what happened he would have tried to make amends and help his people, and if Grievous learned that it was Dooku (a former jedi turned sith) who turned him into a monster against his will, he'd probably be willing to team up with Obi-Wan to bring down Dooku and the Sith plans for Galactic domination to avenge and to protect his people, and they would be an absolute powerhouse since they are already familiar with eachothers way of fighting and from a writers point of view its filled with so much potential angst and drama, and hijinks, and even enhances the plot and creates parallels between the two that the franchise has never bothered to make and it has so much potential even if they don't fall in love they could be really good friends/partners/allies and if order 66 goes as planned they would be badass rebels its such an overlooked possible dynamic PLEASE 🥺

What is the worst fighting game? What is your favorite dbz fighting game? And sorry about your haircut i hope you find a style or a cool hat while it grows back!

theres a lot of worsts, theres a lot of nonfunctional games and truuuly shitty stuff out there. i guess i can answer this question in an interesting way by explaining that most of them come from the same era -- "after sf2 came out and achieved god level popularity," but "before most developers could figure out why sf2 was fun at all" - and remember, for a lot of people, sf2 is fucking impossible.

this era is pretty long, too, because it stretches from the n64 all the way to the ps2. it transformed through that time, in ps1/n64 gen there were a lot of 3d fighter attempts that, like, weren't able to figure out how to make a 3d fighter. they either controlled horrifically, or didnt have a combo system so you just poked eachother, etc, etc...

but im getting ahead of myself. look at a game like shaq fu - a classic 'worst fighting game' (but nowhere near the 'actual worst'). the graphics are amazing, characters are cool (including shaq) and the premise isnt that awful. but the game just controls so horrifically that the only fun youll have from it is laughing at it. jumps take for-fucking-ever because theres a huge animation for it that has many many beautiful hand animated frames lol

mortal kombat armageddon, a game i love to death for including every MK character up to that point, is decent enough to play but it is a broken mess if you look at it for more than a second. there's infinite resetting air combos, ridiculous juggles, characters that can teleport and grab you from BLOCK CONFIRMING an extremely fast projectile (think 2 of them in a second)... cool game but its Really Bad, but ill still play it if its around because fuck it and i like it.

my favorite dbz game is fighterz even though ive barely played it because out of all the Anime Fighting Games its the Anime I Actually Respect and they did a bang up job of making a fighting game that feels like youre Watching A DBZ Episode. i watched a lot of it at ECT because it came up before my commentary and my god, i admit, its fun to watch characters like jiren in that game

The meanest thing he's ever said was, "I was not impressed with your performance tonight."

Is a fan favorite for the exact opposite reason black is, he's very respectful to all of his opponents, even black. He considers them more as competitors rather than opponents.

Wanted to fight because of karate movies and martial arts films.

Slowly became more adjusted to Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and incorporated elements of it (sweeps, reverses etc) into his wrestling.

Uses a jumping/lunging punch, or "superman punch" to catch opponents off guard.

Was a DEFENDING champion (of a regional organization) at a very young age before making it to the world stage.

Many consider him the only true mixed martial artist.

Aged (age in context refers to cumulative lasting damage a fighter takes over the course of the career) very well, is mostly defensively sound.

Only black has ever finished white with strikes.

Him and black began training together. It was mutually beneficial, with white being able to improve his striking in sparring black and black being able to improve his defensive grappling with white.

Mentored red through his regional career, but both had to split off to different trainers at the professional level.

If the term "crash out" was a person.

opposite to white, he spouts pure vinegar and genuinely seems like he hates his opponent.

White and black are 3-2 respectively, with 1 draw.

Both have finished eachother, black in their first fight by R4 TKO and white in their 6th fight by R2 SUB.

His respect only comes post-fight, win or lose. It really throws people off.

Regularly gets into legal trouble for his antics outside of the cage.

One of his opponents teams tried to intimidate one of his teammates, so he gathered them together and swarmed the bus they were on.

Also smashed a bottle on one of his opponents coaches head when they shoved his coach.

Will regularly escalate situations (I'm changing up his character a bit for this, as I will be for the others but his will be most apparent)

Wasn't a good role model at all but would have peaked later in life and matured.

Is NOT a fan of the stick-and-move style despite having the physical attributes to suit it best. He never does something for no reason, everything is done to set up more offense and pile it on.

Despite being a longer, rangey fighter he also prioritizes body shots very well. His favorite kick is the spinning back kick to the body.

Is a master at keeping fights standing, black is actually what got white to improve his grappling to the championship level, by learning how to hold someone as skilled as black down

Funny enough, after he got subbed by red he approached white about training with him, and it was after theyd already fought 3 times.

Granted, neither thought they'd be fighting again, let alone 3 more times.

Shiro and Kuro's rivalry stands as one of the longest running rivalries, as well as the biggest draw in the sports' history.

Blue/Ao

Was actually a D1 (Division 1) wrestler. His first ten wins were either by ground & pound TKO or slam KO.

Was team mates with red during the regionals (amateurs.)

Blue opted to start a bit later than red and stayed in the regionals for experience.

Red and blue are 1-1, both having finished eachother with strikes.

Red beat blue by standing TKO and blue pulled a 1-off head kick and KOd red.

Gets stunned/wobbled but very difficult to drop.

Has Never been KOd... yet

If he gets cracked really badly he has a tendency to "zombie" his way back into the fight instead of just going down or shooting a takedown.

Accidentally defended his own takedown once after getting wobbled badly.

Since he dropped pressure-wrestling almost entirely, his offensive grappling isn't as good at the top level. But he retained enough to be able to deny takedowns.

Realized he had heavy hands after narrowly escaping a submission and turning his opponents' lights out with a right hand after standing the fight back up.

Is still quite susceptible to upper-body takedowns or well timed entries.

Began developing leg kicks after realizing opponents had a harder time running from his power punches if he damages their legs.

Is actually quite intelligent with his power, always has a plan to "deliver" that power as efficiently as possible.

Has a tendency to get trigger happy, sometimes needs to be reminded by his coach to "take 30 to 40 percent off your shots"

Essentially pioneered the "karate blitzc" style.

Very upright posture, tends to go for "straight kicks" like teeps and lead-leg side kicks.

Can and will break components like opponents' hands if they block too much.

Developed slick boxing and fast 1-2s and 1-2-1s after losing a decision to black where he left too little room for her to kick, but just enough to punch.

Her and black made an agreement pre-fight that neither of them is shooting takedowns. It'd be a pure striking match-up.

As opposed to black, where he relies on a mixture of building up damage and offense over the course of the fight, pretty almost exclusively builds damage throughout a fight.

Alot of her finishes are ref/corner stoppages. Like black, she's not exactly known for putting people's lights out.

She likes to "snap" her kicks out from her hips, this makes it tough to tell what kicks she's throwing and when to defend against it.

Her grappling is a bit less effective than black, she also trained with white (also got to train with black to improve her boxing) in an attempt to get around this but she's never been huge on wrestling.

Aqua

Was mainly a pressure wrestler who'd submit her opponents but wasn't too active offensively. She'd get the takedown and wait for an opportunity to present itself rather than taking the initiative. basically a "lay n pray" style of grappling.

Occasionally goes for submissions. Landed quite a few earlier in her career, she has several decision wins during this period as well.

The audiences weren't too happy with this.

Very good at reversing/scrambling out of bad positions.

She's still the only person to ever KO red stiff with a single punch.

Even after rolling most of the impact off, black was still wobbled.

The closest anyone's ever came to dropping black.

Not very much skill on the feet (on the feet = standing and striking) but her punching power is usually enough to put most on the back foot.

Very good durability. Has yet to be finished by strikes.

Has a knack for winging big looping overhands.

Has been described as a new fighter ever since her big win over red. She's been described as more of a "marauder."

The shift in fan perspective on her has been night and day. Went from being seen as a boring pure-wrestler to one of the most volatile and exciting fighters on the roster due to the fact that she can end the fight at any time if she lands flush.

Red

Very good analyst, can sometimes get someone's style down on the fly.

Very good mix of speed and power, although hits quite hard himself.

He regularly trades power for speed and vice versa, he relies on cumulative damage just like black but his punching power is much more intimidating.

Very good wrestler during the regionals. Once he went pro, he began to develop good boxing and kickboxing but made sure to keep up on his grappling.

This gives him an extra layer of both offensive and defensive versatility.

Uses an odd, older school style of blocking where he cover-blocks one side normally with its respective hand and crosses the other hand over his face, in a modified "cross-guard"

Has finishes by both strikes and submissions.

Good defense, tough to hit clean due to mixture of blocks and movement. Has good durability for when defense fails.

Maintains that black was his toughest fight, despite red having 3 victories over him.

Misses training with white.

Very outspoken and direct, isn't a fan of trash talk and when he does talk trash, he means it.

Tends to take things a little too personally

Is the most thrown off by blacks' behavioral patterns.

Despite being younger, he's actually considered a veteran having nearly as many fights as white and black.

This is because he opted to turn professional as soon as possible.

Generally a stand up guy, he hates fouls though.

Can be a little salty sometimes.

Pink

Most of whats applied to pretty can also be applied to pink as far as styles go.

Very kick heavy, but whereas pretty likes to keep both her hands low, pink always makes sure she has her right hand glued to her face.

This is because she found out she was a bit "chinny" after getting finished.

Since the defensive adjustments she's been far too elusive to finish with just one strike.

Can get wobbled and dropped, but can usually weather it out.

I honestly wish I had more to say about pink... I'll work more of it out as I go.

Yellow

Like pretty, usually likes to keep both hands low.

Also a little chinny, but their division also has some pretty heavy hitters so it's not surprising.

Their offensive skill is incredible, known for putting on kickboxing masterclasses on top opponents

Very slick with their boxing but mixes kicks into it as well.

Their favorite combination it's a 1-2 followed by a rear-leg roundhouse kick.

Very jolly individual, very different from how much of a killer their are in the cage.

Loves to do funny promotional material.

One time went to a press conference dressed as a famous wrestler.

Has gotten knocked out one time.

In the rematch with the same person, they made the improvements and took the champion to a razor thin decision... one that they were, sadly, on the losing end of.

Since then, modified their style to do as much damage to opponents as efficiently as possible.

Has pretty underrated wrestling. Rarely needs it but can be expected to mix it up every now and again.

Pretty good takedown entries, although to their own admission, can get a bit overzealous with them.

Actually won the interim championship, not quite the undisputed title but it was a belt that put them next in line for the undisputed title.

Green

Also don't have much I can say about them.

Deceptively long arms for their frame, often catches opponents off guard.

Perfected their "rubber guard" during the regionals.

Has some of the most mindboggling scrambles and reversals ever (in the context of grappling)

Somewhat of a submission specialist off their back.

Career will not last long due to buildup of damage but it'll be a spectacular one for sure.

Fights are always so volatile. One moment it looks like green is gonna get finished, then they roar back and end up finishing their opponent.

Very unorthodox training methods, heavily cardio and durability focused.

More often than not, stops their opponent on cuts or swelling, I.E a doctor stoppage.

Their opponents never look too good after the fight.

Is considered the "boogeyman" of their division.

At the start of their career, they had a very tough time getting fights because no one wanted to fight them.

I want to tell that I love them in platonic way. They're awesome. They have eachother backs and they're supportive and protective. They're excellent fighters and they respect eachother skills. They're respecting their origins. They're opposite sides which creates and keeps balance for universe. They're Platonic Soulmates.
