Thank you to everyone who interacted with this steddie post I made last week about Steddie who end up poor, disabled, and content in their later years.

So many people have shared personal stories in the comments and the tags and it has warmed my heart so much. I wasn't expecting that kind of reaction but it definitely makes me want to explore those themes more.

If you're someone who's struggling whether that be physically, mentally, financially, in any other way I see you and I hope things shift toward contentment for you soon. I've always hated false platitudes when it comes to lifelong, complex issues in my life and I'm here to tell you that it sucks and it might not get better in the way you hope, but there are avenues for peace for you somewhere out there, and I'm truly sorry if they aren't easy. Some things never are

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

Hey, if you do crafts (especially things like crochet, knitting, embroidery, etc), make sure to look up how to identify when a listing is AI generated. You do NOT want to waste money on an incredible looking kit or pattern that is physically impossible to make, especially if you're on sites like etsy hoping to support an actual artist.

In a “billions won’t be hoarded by one person” type of way. In a “janitors, fast-food workers, child care workers, preschool teachers, hotel clerks, personal care and home health aides, and grocery store cashiers, will live comfortably” type of way.
