Roughly in order, I guess?

- Nanase, precious boy that he is... doesn't deserve a top 23 placement over some of the players that didn't make the cut (I'm talking Niou, Hayate, Darai primarily). But I'm intrigued by how he'll reflect on this in the coming chapters.

- Tokimitsu fumbled a number of times versus BM. His final ranking is the consequence. I'm sad for him, but now suspect his early manga performance was overegged. He couldn't hold up under the pressure past the second selection. That's a very human, relatable conclusion for his character. But I hope we see more of him in future.

- The former U20 players got shafted in favour of plot armoured characters. I find it hard to believe, at minimum, that Niou underperformed at defence throughout the NEL versus like... Raichi or Nanase. But that's more of a writing/suspension of disbelief gripe than anything else.

- on that note: Neru never even got fielded. No bid for him at all! Noa played Igaguri over him 😑 that's some bullshit, Kaneshiro.

- Nishioka's placement, conversely, made me laugh. idk. it's the humour of a mysterious and hyped character that never actually proves their worth or power. Red herring for the ages. RIP Messi of Aomori.

- Igaguri has a club bid... and that's enough to get him out of the temple. I suspect his are actually happy tears!

Anyway, speaking of, timely to move onto the Nagireo tears... for there were many.

- Isagi sticking up for Nagi stirred my heart. They really are buds, mid-match antagonisation aside.

- This chapter serves as a reality check to the players and to us, the readers. We've had 150 chapters of no one being eliminated. We got complacent. Ego (and by extension, Kaneshiro) chose violence today and reminded us that this manga started as a football elimination game. So it will continue.

- Ego's harsh on Nagi, publically humiliating him. But he's not saying anything that Nagi and Reo haven't already heard from their friends, fellow players and rivals. Agi, Rin and Barou told Nagi he was cooked chapters and chapters back. He and Reo's defiance of these warnings had consequences.

- However, I also think (or speculate, rather) that Ego is overly harsh in his treatment of Nagi and Reo. He's always had it in for them—they've never fit his mould of what the ideal striker or even player should be. And the way he condemns Nagi as 'already withered' is just... ridiculously harsh. Sure, that's Blue Lock. These are the stakes of this setting. But I suspect Ego has it in for them in particular because he sees something of his own naivety or failings in them. That warrants its own brain dump, so putting a pin in that for now.

- Ego's final dismissal to Nagi ("if you're a sensible man, satisfied with anything below [being the world's top]...") suggests that Nagi's failure is nearly... commendable. Because Blue Lock is insensible. It's ill advised. Taking satisfaction in mediocre talent may in fact be preferable to the never ending strife of competing to be the world's number one. Ego's advising Nagi to avoid the pain and embrace mediocrity.

- My conclusion on Ego's position is, he understands Nagi can never hope to compete with Isagi, Rin, Barou etc purely out of dedication to Reo. He sees Nagi as a waste of time, and perhaps otherwise, as someone too pure for Blue Lock's ideology. Because Nagi has never put football before Reo. Even in the second selection, he chose Isagi and Bachira over Reo out of a desire to improve, and become a better partner for Reo.

- This is reinforced in EpiNagi: for example, Nagi shows far more concern for Chigiri and his leg than Chigiri himself. Chigiri has wagered his leg against greatness. He fully accepts the consequence and ridiculousness of doing so... and Nagi can't understand this drive, or anyone else's. It's why he keeps asking everyone about why they pursue football, outside of anyone else (e.g. Reo).

- The same can't be said about Reo. He clearly adores Nagi: but Nagi is his treasure, his ticket to the World Cup, his partner, a genius. Nagi's always 'something' when Reo describes him. Reo is Reo to Nagi... but Nagi is a means to an end for Reo. A friend, and a beloved one at that... but still a means to achieve Reo's own dream. A dream which Reo isn't going to let slip by because of Nagi.

- That distinction helps explain how Reo was able to cut loose, score that goal against Barcha, and book a spot in the Top 23, while Nagi wasn't.

- I think Nagi understands this difference between them. Reo, regrettably, does not. In the next chapter, Nagi will likely lay out why and reassure Reo that he belongs in the top 23... and accept why he himself hasn't been able to make the cut.

I also love how we're continuing with the Isanagi moments and parallels. Him and Reo are really the only ones moping about Nagi. When it comes to Nagi's story, it'll always be the 2 of them be it if the shippers like it or not. Isagi regretted he could only say "don't quit soccer" but I actually thought that was really meaningful and I found the Isanagi scene in 300 way more impactful than even the Reonagi ones which were the bulk of the chap. I actually had a lot of thoughts for last chap to the point I couldn't get everything out but basically I just really really like the Isanagi scene lol. I'm just glad we still have Isagi thinking of Nagi this chap, really cements their bond and the importance of Nagi's role in the series.

And about their parallel, as I've said over and over... Their trajectories are meant to be opposite of the other and this chapter further hammers that in with Isagi reaching the peak of his soccer career and gaining recognition, full ego shining in his eyes and all but Nagi?? All dead and alone at home.

'I an doomed!!' She groaned, already awaiting an incoming headache.

Now what had happened? Let's go back to the week prior to the faithful weekend. The whole team could see that (Y/n) was happier than usually, and while Luna was happy that one of his midfielders was doing well, he was a little concerned when he was told she would leave practice earlier than he usually does. Luna knew (Y/n) pretty well, he would say, and hearing the football obsessed midfielder leave earlier was something he never expected.

'Is he sick? Maybe someone is bothering him? But, he would have told me that, right? He would have told Sae at least.' The Spaniard mused as he watched her run out of the stadium while telling the rest of the team goodbye. Luna looked over his shoulder at Sae, only to find the younger have the same confused expression while looking at the exit. So, that's when he decided he would give Sae the job to check this out. Sae was closer to (Y/n), so having him ask her all these questions wouldn't be all too weird.

Meanwhile, (Y/n) was happy for a few reasons the two men would have never guessed. The first reason being that she found a few cute dresses she could wear on Saturday, she finally found a wig that would suit her better than the last one, and the third reason being that Chigiri's sister will be visiting Madrid this week, so she will finally have someone who knew her secret to talk to. Life was good, for now.

Right now, (Y/n) was in her apartment, rummaging through her closet to find something to wear for her trip on Saturday. She had her day off that day, and those days she would spend shopping and visiting cafés in Madrid.

"Hmmm? This pink dress looks cute, maybe putting this white blouse underneath it would be nice! Oh! And these heels as well. Hmm? But, which bag should I pick." She smiled and put the clothes on the bed and then went to look through the box that had her bags in.

'Hmm... I need to contact Chigiri-san later on as well. She said she wanted to stay at a hotel close by, so I need to check if they have free rooms.' (Y/n) yawned.

Meanwhile, Sae was in a video call with the people he least expected to call, Manshine's trio and some of (Y/n)'s closest friends.

"So, he didn't tell you people anything either?" Sae raised an eyebrow as Reo shook his head.

"No. As I said, he was talking to us 2 nights ago, and he looked and sounded normal. Why are you even asking?" Reo raised an eyebrow as Nagi chimed in.

"Is there something we should know?"

"Yeah, aside from him being happier than usually, you didn't say there was anything weird about him." Chigiri said in boredom as Sae sighed.

"He has been leaving practice earlier than usually."

"Earlier? How early?" Nagi wondered.

"Like, right on the clock. The moment the coach announces that practice is over, he drops everything and leaves." Sae answered. Now this was something that caused the trio to look at each other in concern. They knew (Y/n) better than anyone else did, and she wouldn't just leave like that. They remember how they always had to drag her away to sleep while they were in Blue Lock. Heck, Ego would threaten her with punishments I she didn't listen and go rest.

"How long has that been going on?" Chigiri asked, looking directly at Sae now.

"Since Monday."

"That's odd... Did he have a recent interview or match that he was disappointed by?" Reo inquired, only to earn a negative from the redhead.

"No. We don't have any matches this month, and he didn't have an interview that went bad to my knowledge. But, he wouldn't be that cheerful if there was a bad incident." Sae argued, earning a nod from Reo. Nagi chuckled a little as he laid his head on the table.

"Maybe our captain found himself a girlfriend."

There was a silence for a moment before Reo and Chigiri busted into a laughter.

"Please, he is married to football. There is no way." The redhead argued.

'He better only have eyes for football.' Was what he actually thought.

"Yeah, and even if he had any interests, he has no idea how to flirt." Reo added in.

'Thank God for that.'

Sae kept quiet as he watched the trio, frowning at the thought of (Y/n) possibly liking someone, let alone dating. The midfielder was his, and he won't be sharing him with anyone. It was annoying enough that he had to fight off the former Blue lock team at times.

'He wouldn't let some random woman get between him and football. There is just no way.'

It was the next evening on a Thursday that Sae decided to visit (Y/n). Practice ended earlier, and the redhead was sure she already rested enough.

"Hm? Sae?" The woman blinked when she saw the man outside in the hallway.

"What are you doing here at this time?"

"Can't I be here?" Sae raised an eyebrow in confusion, causing her to quickly shake her head.

"Not at all! I am just surprised you are here. Come inside, I am in the middle of making dinner. Want to join?"

Sae chuckled at her nervous reaction and pat her head.

'Cute. There is no way this guy has a woman.' He thought in relief and nodded his head before taking his shoes off.

"Sure. I will use your bathroom first, ok?" Sae said, earning a nod from her.

"Yeah, sure. You know where it is." She said before going to the kitchen. Sae watched (Y/n) leave before quickly walking down the hallway, not to the bathroom, but to the room across from it.

'It looks tidy... as expected from him.' The Itoshi thought as he looked at the bedroom, not finding anything off or anything. That was until he found a odd pink bottle on the bedside table.

"Hm?" Sae mused and slowly walked towards it and picking the bottle up. The man read what was on the bottle, only to freeze up when he realized what the words said.

'A...a woman's perfume? Why does he have it?' Sae took in a few sharp breaths as he slowly took out his phone and took a picture.

'This has to be a coincidence... Maybe he didn't read what was on the bottle. He can be careless after all. He wouldn't... he wouldn't let some woman into his home like this. He isn't like that.' Sae argued to himself and looked at the wardrobe. He hesitated for a moment, but as he looked back at the bottle, he grew more and more agitated. So, he simply opened the wardrobe, as silently as possible and started looking around. There was nothing unusual there. Just some shirts, pants, the two uniforms from Re Al, his underwear- Sae's eyes widened when he saw something that is out of place for a wardrobe from a man.

'A... a bra?!'

Rage slowly subsided as a feeling of numbness came over him.

'Why is that here? Why would he have it? That perfume and now this... this thing! Is he serious with someone? He has to be if he let's her leave stuff like this here...' Sae's eyes narrowed as the anger slowly returned but he couldn't just stand there and do nothing. He quickly took a picture of the item as well and quickly left the room. He needed to calm down, he couldn't lash out now.

'I will find that chick and set her straight. There is no way a nobody will get in my way, or in (Y/n)'s football career.'

On Friday evening, Sae called (Y/n) and proposed to hang out the next day. He had to find out more about all of this. But, to Sae's surprise, she rejected the idea, quite nervously as well. Quickly saying she had some other plans and to maybe do this next week. Before Sae could say anything else, she ended the call, leaving the player even more concerned.

'Is he meeting her today?' Sae wondered. Tomorrow he will visit (Y/n) and finally see what was going on.

The next day....

Now, Sae had expected something to happen. Maybe seeing (Y/n) nervously leave her apartment, looking like a nervous wreck. He expected to see (Y/n), but not some random woman leaving his apartment.

'Who is that now?!' Sae's eyes widened as he hid in a corner and watched the woman lock the familiar apartment door. The man clenched his fists as the woman happily skipped down the hallway and talked on her phone.

"Hey? You are already at the hotel? Good. I will be there soon, we can go shopping then. I have the card with me." She said to the person, oblivious to the redhead being nearby.

'She is treating that place like it belongs to her. That's (Y/n)'s place! Is she trying to take control of him? And who let her have his card?!' Sae felt anger bubble up inside of him as he slowly followed after her. He stopped when he saw her wait for the elevator, cursing a little because the woman worse sunglasses and a mask. He quickly took his phone out and shot a picture before she could leave his sight.

'He isn't dating... there is no way... Maybe it's his sister? Does he have a sister? Why did he give her his key?' Sae felt his whole world spinning as he decided to take a moment and sit down on the ground. This was all too much for him. Where did he go wrong? He made sure (Y/n) stayed back and practiced with him after the regular hours. He even kept an eye on all the fans during interviews after a game.

'So how did that woman get to him? What tricks did she use? Is she just using him till she finds some new player?' Sae clenched his fists.

"This has to be a coincidence... a joke. There is no way..."

A few days later...

"Sae, are you doing ok? You have been glaring and pouting the whole day." (Y/n) asked in worry as she handed him a bottle of water. But, instead of being told an answer, the midfielder sent her a sharp glare and looked away.

"Aren't... aren't we friends?" (Y/n) blinked in confusion as Sae huffed, reminding her more of a toddler than anything.

"Just leave me alone." He said coldly. As much as she wanted to argue, she didn't. Simply putting the bottle on the ground, (Y/n) walked back to where Luna was as the man had some suggestions on her improvement.

Sae turned to look back at her, the same hurt and anger still present on his face.

'What does she even have to offer to you? I will need help here...' Sae sighed as he thought back about the Manshine trio.

Present time...

"YOU TOLD CHIGIRI, REO, AND NAGI ALL OF THAT?! COULDN'T YOU HAVE TALKED TO ME FIRST?!" Now it was Luna and Adam's turn to hold (Y/n) back from lunging at Sae, who looked like all of it was no big deal. Loki and Pablo stood in front of Sae, not wanting to witness a murder. Silva was standing to the side, whistling at how much everything escalated.

If you’ve seen friends or if you want to see where I got the prompt from, it’s from when ross had to choose between two girls and made a pros and cons list to help him decide.

Rin didn’t think he’d ever end up in such a situation. See, despite there being a long line of women willing to climb mountains just to have a chance at being with rin, he very rarely entertained any of them… mostly because he already had his eyes set on someone else. You. But life’s circumstances never really gave you two any way to work on what you both knew could happen. He was mostly having away games or training and you were too busy with a blooming career somewhere far from where he usually wad. “It’s not the time”. The line rin would always tell himself. The right time just never seemed to present itself.

Unfortunately, time won’t always be friendly to continuously missed chances. After years of not having anything happen, rin came to the conclusion that maybe it just wasn’t meant to be. Besides, you’ve had a few boyfriends and situationships here and there and rin, being surrounded by his team mates and their stories about how good it feels to have someone supporting them from the stands, he got impatient so he decided to give someone a try. Mai. One of the team’s PR managers. She always was nice to rin, pretty, soft spoken, understanding, basically what most men would want. Fortunately for rin, she also seemed to harbor some sort of attraction towards him. Nothing serious at the moment but definitely something to start with. A few dates here and there. Hang outs at home and all. Mai was aware that rin couldn’t commit yet and neither was she. The arrangement they had worked for both. But boy, was timing a bitch to rin. Roughly 3 months into dating mai, rin was rendered frozen in place when he received a message from you.

You: Rin! I’ve been assigned to work near your home stadium. Did I get that right? idk if that’s what you call it but yeah. I just moved in yesterday. Want to meet up? :)

As rin was mindlessly staring and repeatedly reading your message, reo passed by and “accidentally” saw the message. “dude, who’s that? isn’t mai going to get jealous?” Rin snapped back into reality after realizing his friends had seen what was going on. Isagi looked as well and as he read the contact name, a bulb went up his head “oh wait isn’t that the girl you used to like before you started dating mai?” A few banters here and there about the team invading rin’s privacy, shidou chimed in out of nowhere “Know what? Why don’t you make a pros and cons list for the girls? I know damn well you still like that one but you also seem smitten as fuck for mai so.. pros and cons man” and most of the time, only bullshit comes out of shidou’s mouth but god, rin was at such a crossroads, he gave in. With the help of his teammates, a list was made.

Later that day, rin agreed to meet with you. It’s not that he had already decided or that he was confident you still had feelings for him but he thought it wouldn’t hurt. Besides, he had already asked mai about it and she was more than okay with it. She even half joked half meant said that if things work out between you and rin, she should at least be invited to the wedding. When rin arrived at the meet up place and he saw you sitting and looking around, there was no doubt in his heart. It was still you and he was a big fool for ever thinking that dating someone else would ever work. Not to deny that mai was a great girl and that they matched pretty well.. it’s just that you were it for him. At that moment, he thanked the heavens that his arrangement with mai wasn’t serious yet. He felt bad having to end or because the relationship had its fair share of ups but, god, seeing you again just locked him in and it would feel wrong dating anyone else when he was this crazy for you. Rin walked up to you and gently tapped your shoulder. You immediately looked back to see him and as if on instinct, you jumped up to hug him. “Rin! How have you been?!” You exclaimed while still hugging him. “Hello to you too, yn” he calmly replied back while hugging back, cradling your head gently in his hand.

The meet up went as well as you had hoped. Lots of catching up, rin touring you around, trying out different food places. It was a fun welcome to the city. In the evening, as rin was about to drive you home, he realized that he left his phone at the restaurant. “Sorry yn, can you wait a bit, I think I left my phone” you gave him a gentle nod as he left the car. You let out a heavy sigh because god were you nervous. You wanted to finally try it out with rin since you were close by and distance wouldn’t be an issue anymore. As you were thinking of ways to tell him what you wanted to do, a piece of paper with your name on it caught your attention. It was at the little compartment in between the driver’s seat and your seat. Not meaning to be nosy but also being extremely curious, you picked it up and unfolded. You were half expecting a cute note but you were met with a pros and cons list. Specifically the cons list which had “unstable” and “needs career” which you immediately interpreted as him conveying that you looked to have no stability and that you had a career he deemed insufficient to consider as a relevant enough career. And it hurt. It hurt because he was right. Compared to him, your career was small and you couldn’t exactly blame him but you didn’t think he’d see it as something bad enough to consider it a “con”. You didn’t even realize you were crying and you didn’t realize that rin had just opened the door to his seat. “Yn? Hey what’s the matter?” He sounded so worried and caring but that didn’t matter. “I- I’m taking a cab, rin I’m sorry” his eyes darted to the piece of paper in your grasp and his face fell pale. “yn listen, wait” he gently grabbed your wrist and you let him. “I know this looks bad. Fuck, it is bad. But it’s not what you think. I don’t think you’re unstable or any of that. It’s just.. what I’m trying to say is that you being busy with your career, we wouldn’t be stable is what I’m trying to say there. And that you wouldn’t want to pick anything over your career at the moment. I swear I just.. I’m not good with words please believe me. And the other girl on the list, I tried dating someone else but when I saw you today, everything just fell into place. I like you still, I know you know that. She knows it too” and he was telling the truth. It just wasn’t sinking into your head that he was saying that he wanted a relationship? The person you’ve loved since senior year of high school likes you back. You always had a guy feel but he never acted on it so you brushed it off but now he just confessed. “Let me make it up to you and all the years we missed?” Rin asked with a smile.

i left the app for an entire year because of this but basically it is sooo understandable when writers just dip off the app after being on it sooo much. like i get it tbh.

and a lot of the time it’s not necessarily just real life stuff or maybe they started not enjoying tumblr anymore etc. IT DEFINITELY CAN BE but i really do think for almost everyone it’s actually burnout lmao. or you just don’t love the media you post / your blog was centered around anymore like you used to. so you have no reason to be on there anymore. like the brainrot festered away and so did your will to write for fic so what does it matter if you’re on there yk… mutuals really do make you wanna stay but sometimes that is not enough because you feel like you have to be on there and it doesn’t really feel as good 💔 especially when you’re not joining in the fun with everyone because you’re not really feeling it or want to in the way they are LMFAOOO. like yes you are on tumblr for yourself but let's be real. mutuals make it 10000000x more fun.

and my reason specifically was i had crazy animanga burnout. it was so bad like i really didn’t wanna watch or read anything and or force myself to get into for blorbos for some reason like. i had enough LMAO i was so fried from fanfiction in general too and i just really didn’t feel like being on the app anymore because i also lost my desire to write. i also got a full time job and then started school again at some point so yeah i didn’t see a reason to be on there except mutuals but it really wasn’t enough 😭

and so i think a lot of writers rn who have been off the app for a long while, not necessarily deactivated, did too tbh. it’s not always “tumblr isn’t the same” or “real life got to me” like no you just… either don’t feel like being on there anymore or you see no reason to anymore. cuz you can always make time for tumblr technically LMAO

Anri was in distress. Ever since (Y/n) had turned back to normal, things have gone semi-normal. Sure, she would get teased by Lorenzo and Shidou over her attachment towards Ness, the Blue Lock players would often times be caught glaring at the said German player and Kaiser... well he has been a lot nice towards her. Was it because of him being the reason for her distress while she was a toddler? Anri really didn't know and it wasn't really important. But this morning the same issue happened, just that this time nobody other than Michael Kaiser was the victim! It was a fairly normal morning until Ness barged into Ego's office, showing him the toddler sized Kaiser, who the whole time had a bright red face and was glaring at Ego and Anri. Or attempt to, it just looked like a pout and Anri couldn't help but cry from the cuteness, taking a picture here and there. Meanwhile Ego was already looking for new job applications as Kaiser kept on stuttering nonsense. Later, the coaches were called over and Noel dressed hin in a smaller version of the Bastard uniform. The coaches, Ego and Anri agreed on the latter two taking care of Kaiser for the day and for nobody to tell anyone what had happened. And so, Ness and Noel left Kaiser alone with the two, an arrangement Kaiser wasn't too happy with. While Anri enjoyed the time (Y/n) was a toddler... Kaiser was a different story. He either wouldn't sit still for a minute, would stutter out words which left both adults confused on what he wanted or would protest eating anything from Anri or Ego. The man was forced by Anri to do that. Now, Noel would come in from time to time in order to check up on Kaiser, the boy was always excited to see him. But after the like 4th time, Kaiser stopped being happy and would just pout then hide behind a chair. When Anri finally asked what he wanted, the answer from the toddler surprised both her and Ego.

"(Y/n)!" He answered with a blush as the two adults looked at each other.

"It's a surprise he even remembers her. (Y/n) back then only remembered us and Ness." Anri commented.

"While it is a surprise, (Y/n) has her own duties." Ego shrugged as the boy glared at him, obviously getting the hint his request was rejected.

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)!" Kaiser jumped up and down, but Ego would just shake his head.

"Maybe it would be for the better if we called her over." Anri got up from the ground to look at Ego, Kaiser perked up at that and nodded his head.

"No." Ego said again, causing the blonde to growl.

The room seemed to have calmed down and Kaiser kept on looking at the door from time to time. Soon he saw an exit chance in the form of Lavinho walking into the room and not closing the door fast enough, and Kaiser used the opportunity to run out.

"(Y/N)!" He shouted as Anri and Lavinho panicked.

"I need a change in my career path." Ego groaned as Anri and Lavinho left the room.

"Eh..." (Y/n) sweat dropped as Lorenzo barked for lime the 10th time this morning and looked at the Italian coach.

"Snuffy-san?"

"What?" The man asked, looking up from his papers.

"Lorenzo has been barking the whole time." (Y/n) said to the man, who sighed in defeat and shook her concerns off.

"It's normal. Aryu, Baro and Niko are pretty much used to it all." The girl slowly nodded her head and looked at the said boys, who had a mixture of annoyance, embarrassment and anger on their faces. She smiled in sympathy at them and was about to speak up again, when two familiar voices were heard outside.

"Kaiser! Come back here!"

"Don't go inside! A monster is there!" Anri and Lavinho's shouts stopped the whole practice and caused Snuffy to tense up a little.

"Ah? Did Kaiser's fever go down?" (Y/n) wondered as the door opened, only for the group to see a mini version of Kaiser running inside.

"Ehhh?!" (Y/n)'s shrieked as Snuffy facepalmed. Kaiser looked around the room and grinned as he saw (Y/n), then ran towards her before Lavinho caught him.

"(Y/n)!!" The toddler yelled and hugged the girl's legs. This caught Baro, Niko and Aryu's attention and they walked towards the duo, and Lorenzo followed close behind.

"Kaiser?" (Y/n)'s eyes widened as the boy looked up, face red and smiling up at her.

"(Y/n)...."

"So, you guys couldn't keep him at bay?" Snuffy teased the two adults, who glared at him.

"What is going on here?" Baro raised an eyebrow.

"Didn't you guys say Kaiser was sick?" Niko added in as he observed the blonde.

"Is this the same issue (Y/n) was in?" Aryu asked Anri, whole slowly started explaining the situation.

"Up... up!"Kaiser said as he stretched his arms out and (Y/n) went along, finding it hard to say 'no' to a toddler version of Kaiser. The boy sighed in content and buried his face in her neck.

"So does that mean Kaiser is now useless on the field?" Lorenzo spoke up as he observed the blonde child. Kaiser, at those words looked up and glared at Lorenzo, who laughed at his expression.

"Awww~ not so intimidating now?"

(Y/n) watched as Kaiser's glare softened and it looked like he was about to cry.

"Please Lorenzo, shut up and go to training." She spoke up sternly and looked back at Kaiser, speaking in a much softer voice.

"Don't listen to that grumpy man, you are still the best. Yes you are~" The blonde's expression turned into a happy one and he hugged the girl again.

"I am not grumpy!" Lorenzo protested.

"(Y/n)!" The girl sighed as Kaiser hugged her leg again while she wrote something down. She looked down at the boy, who sent her a big smile, and all the annoyance seemed to disappear from her face.

"What did you need, Kaiser? I thought you had fun playing with the football we gave you?" The girl asked and patted the boy's head. Kaiser blushed and grabbed her hand before she could remove it.

"Up!" He said.

"I can't now, Kaiser. I need to write this down for Noel-san."

"No! Up!" Kaiser grumbled, not wanting to share (Y/n)'s attention with some papers.

"Up~" He said again.

"How about this, you let me finish this and for the rest of the day we can play together. I will be done in about 20 minutes." Kaiser pouted at the idea of having to wait, but if he can have (Y/n) for the rest of the day, then it was fine. The girl watched as the boy sat down on the grass and held onto the fabric of her pants.

'He is so cute as a baby! How did he turn out so... so Kaiser-like?' She thought.

"Kaiser is acting like a duckling! He keeps following (Y/n) around, it's unbearable at this point!" The said boy looked over at Shidou who was laughing about the situation with Rin.

"(Y/n)!" The boy shouted, burying his face into her leg as she looked down at him and then at the duo.

"Shidou! Rin! You two are behind in practice! Get back to it, or else I will have to call Loki-san!" (Y/n) told them and the two tensed up at her words.

Kaiser chuckled a little stuck his tongue out while (Y/n) wasn't paying attention to him.

'That little bastard!'Rin and Shidou thought as they went back to training.

Isagi and Ness felt an urge to pick Kaiser up and throw him somewhere. Right now, the boy was enjoying his time sitting in (Y/n)'s lap as she fed him some food Anri prepared.

'That dipshit is being too comfortable right now.' Isagi thought as he ate his food.

'So this is what it feels like to be in Kaiser's shoes? Would hate being him on a regular day.' Ness put on his usual smile and offered to feed Kaiser while she ate her own lunch.

"Nooo!" Kaiser protested, grabbing tightly on (Y/n)'s shirt. The girl shook her head at the offer and gave Kaiser another spoonful of his food.

"No need! I am not that hungry, anyways." (Y/n) said calmly as Isagi eyed the blonde boy suspiciously.

"It's so weird seeing you act so nice to him." The girl shrugged her shoulders and looked down at the boy.

"I guess I have a soft spot for baby Kaiser." She simply answered, kissing the boy's forehead. Kaiser's face turned a bright pink as the pther two were close to kicking him, but held themselves back to not upset (Y/n).

The next day everything was normal again, Kaiser woke up in his normal body and when he entered the field, was greeted by teasings and jokes from his fellow pro-players.

"Hahaha! You should have seen yourself, Kaiser! Crying at everything and anything." Shidou said while nudging the annoyed German.

"Oh man! I wish I could have seen it in real time, instead of a video. I'll blame Snuffy for the schedule." Oliver pouted.

"There is a video?!" Kaiser asked in disbelief as Sae nodded his head. The latter was still jet legged from his flight, but still had enough energy to let out a chuckle.

"Nagi took one yesterday. It's very popular in the gc." Ness laughed a little and moved away, avoiding Kaiser's slap.

"Shut up..." The blonde glared, then remembered a specific moment tat happened yesterday.

"Does Nagi have a picture of (Y/n) playing and kissing my forehead?" Now this caught the rest's attention.

"What do you mean by that?" Oliver asked in disbelief.

"Well, (Y/n) was pretty much pampering me yesterday with kisses, hugs and feeding me. Even my baby form is more love day her than all 4 of you combined."

gets handed a beer by someone, has his first sip of it ever, and immediately spits it out. mutters “how the hell can anyone drink this?” and “discreetly” pours the rest into a bush.

mainly stays with nagi, chigiri, kunigami, and bachira and they just talk throughout the night

(bachira only sits down and talks after his energy dies down. i'll elaborate on this below the cut).

keeps asking nagi “what song is this?” throughout the night LOL. makes a mental note of what songs to add to his playlists.

slightly nods his head to the music, aw cute. goes a little harder and lip syncs/raps along when he really likes the song, though (i stand by my word when i said he loves “neon guts”)

irritates the fuck out the dj because nagi keeps asking him to play one specific song over and over again.

it was good the first time, don't wear it out for the rest of us bae 😭

actually a really good dancer, and he knows he looks good, too. knows the words to every drake song that comes on, argue with your mom.

the type to pull you close and wraps his arms around your waist or around your neck

actually really fun to talk to. always in the loop with drama and stuff, so he's always got some interesting conversation topics. and he's funny 😭
