Not much progress because well, irl shit happened so here's a bit of a previously written paragraph from my Paris fic that I haven't posted

Fingers leave his chest and pick up the key Henry asked about all those nights ago, fingertips rubbing against the cool metal as if to warm it up. Alex recalls what Henry said to him in response that first night in his room, of never owning a key his entire life; the flash of suppressed anguish he saw during their walk in the garden, how resigned he sounded, how quickly he flinched away when Alex reached out to hold his hand, and he thinks he’s starting to understand what’s beneath the title and glamour. But he likes what he finds. He really, really does.

Henry looks from underneath his eyelashes, stars in his eyes and a smile at the edge of his lips. Looking like an angel, grinning like a devil, a blessing and a temptation.  He drags Alex by the chain, walking towards the bed, and in that second Alex understands how easy it is for man to fall.
