I think you guys are blocking something out and it seems to you things are good and you have it your way but you actually don't and you need to take in reality for what it is in order to gain more control over things .I think some of you have abusive or bad families but because you comply with some of multiple of them you don't have it as bad but this isn't seeming right to me . Lucien knew that Angel had some shit wrong with them, but so did he so he really didn't care. Plus he was a demon if they liked some sick shit he can handle it! Their his Angel after all, but after finally getting a human form because he needed to help Angel with money. The demon was annoyed by the attention he would get from the people in the apartment complex.

Like Ronan Antonina was a pale man and he lived on floor three, room 13 and he kept trying to flirt with Lucien. Even though Lucien kept telling him fuck off basically because the demon already had someone who matched his freak. Angel when ever they saw him flirting with their boyfriend would give the pale man a sinister glare when he wasn't looking. Lucien knew Angel was going to do something, both were aware Angel is willing to do fucked up shit for him.

"Angel, if he pushes it too far you can deal with him." Calmly saying the demon put food on his lovers plate. Angel was gripping their fork tightly as they looked at the kitchen table and Lucien saw the gears turning.

"I want to kill him..." Ominously saying as they looked up to meet their partner's gaze. Lucien, being a demon could feel people's desires it was the most basic ability a demon has. The taller man knew all along but now hearing it he smiled at them understanding.

"I know, don't worry Angel. I'm a demon! I'll help as much as I can." Those words made his partner smile widely and come up to hug him. They felt like their feelings of wanting to hurt Ronan and imagining how to kill the man whenever they got the chance was wrong. But getting the validation was nice why did they ever worry? Their demon would kill for them too if he felt the need to do so!

Months passed and Ronan kept pushing, so one day Angel went to his apartment to talk to him. They wanted to be civil first before actually killing him, Angel wanted to make sure that he should get the fucking hint finally.

"You're going to stop coming near my boyfriend or I'm going to deal with you." Looking into the man's soul with crazy eyes that meant what they said. But they got a scoff and eye rolling as a reply to their threat, as if Ronan thought they wouldn't.

"Okay sure I'll stop, but sweetie that's a man that everyone wants piece-" Smug words were interrupted by Angel stabbing the table between the two. Head ticking to glare straight into his eyes as they started to giggle manically. The knife they held was huge as they ripped it out of the little coffee table and pointed to Ronan.

"I'm going to say this ONCE you fucking stupid blonde bitch. If you look at him or even THINK of MY boyfriend I'll gouge out those eyes and eat your fucking heart. You know what? I'm going to give you a week to get the FUCK out of this apartment complex and never come back." Ronan flinched back as Angel leaned into his personal space, and nodded frantically. Regret was all over his face as he shakily told them he would and slowly getting up Angel left.

Ronan then thought of telling someone...Lucien! He can help him, the taller man was always so sweet to him! Going to his door before opening it he heard the conversation outside. Was that...Angel and Lucien?

"Angel, did you scare him good? Do I need to go in there and finish him off?"

"No, love don't worry. If he knows what's good for him, he'll leave quickly."

Hearing the voices Ronan finally caught the hint that Lucien wanted him. But what about the glaces they shared? The tan man always looked so bored outside chatting with the other neighbor's but smiled at him always! Buzzing from his phone caught his attention, he was added to a group chat called 'Ronan's the problem.' reading the text messages he saw how everyone didn't like him. Angel was the one who texted the chat telling how Ronan threatened to make Lucien leave them.

Angel lived in the apartment complex for a very long time, long enough for everyone to know them. The people were angry and always reported what Ronan was doing when chatting alone with Lucien. While the demon told them how he felt like he needed to be nice to make the other man leave him alone. Shame raised in Ronan as he read every little detail of what he did to make Angel and Lucien uncomfortable.

Crying himself to sleep he thought of trying to get some people on his side. But when he left his apartment the next vouple of days everyone either glared at him and turned away or ignored his presence. Ronan was now isolated from everyone and he couldn't do anything about it because he was the one trying to ruin a perfect relationship.

After the deadline Angel gave him was up he decided to go and talk to them. But when he finally got into the elevator he took it to go to Lucien and Angel's floor. The door open and he saw Angel being surrounded by a group as they sobbed in Lucien's arms.

"-And he threatened me! I was only trying to tell him to leave Lucien alone! Look these are the text messages he sent me last night!" Threats of killing Angel by gorging out their eyes and feeding Lucien their heart even using their skin as a suit if their boyfriend didn't love him. Everyone was looking shocked and disgusted as some tried consult Angel to call the police. Lucien caught Ronan ad he towered everyone in the crowd, and gave him a nasty glare.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING HERE?" Shouting angrily it made everyone snap their heads to where Lucien was glaring at. When seeing who it was everyone started to glare at Ronan and cussing him out. Angel seeing him gave him a smirk as everyone's eyes were on Ronan, causing the other man to shout.

"YOU FUCKING LIAR! I NEVER-" When shouting he step towards the group and Angel flinched back hard beginning to crying harder begging Ronan not to hurt them. The group got into a defensive position and a old lady smacked Ronan with her purse.

"How dare you yell at them like that! Sick bastard get the hell out! GET!" Hitting him more other people tried to stop her but Ronan pushed her hard. That caused hell to break loose as people grabbed him roughly for pushing the older lady down. A retired police officer that was on the floor handcuffed him and told Ronan he was under citizen's arrest for threatening a person and harming a old lady.

Still not believing this was true he shouted and begged everyone to check his phone. One girl did unlocking it easily after getting the code from the cuffed man and gagged as she looked through it. There was pictures and video's of Lucien doing different things; changing, walking, and even having sex with Angel. Hearing this Ronan heart dropped as Lucien looked at him in disgust, while Angel fell to the ground.

The girl, Lily, looked through the phone more and found the text messages. Then found a chat where Ronan was placing on kidnapping Angel and killing them in a warehouse outside of the city to finally be together with Lucien. Going into silent shock Ronan couldn't defend himself anymore, he was ruined no one would take his side.

But how did all of this get on his phone? Looking at the couple again both has wicked smiles looking at him. They...they both did this to him....realizing that he began to screech accusing them of breaking into his apartment and putting all of that in his phone. But the text messages were dated weeks ago and pictures had different days plus the time it was taken. Thinking back Ronan remembered he lost his old phone a while ago...Angel must of took it! They were fucking crazy!

They weren't a fucking Angel! They were a fucking demon! And Lucien- his thoughts were interrupted as Lucien showed his true form as everyone was distracted. Horns flared for a second and his skin turned red showing Ronan that he fell for a demon.

Screaming everyone ignored him as Angel was guided back to the apartment by Lucien. The retired cop told the couple he would deal with it, asking some of the younger men on the floor to help carry the crazy bastard downstairs where the cops were. The small group got into the elevator with all the evidence on the phone and as the door closed Ronan saw Angel giving the most sinister smile they can.

Why do you think women pressure other women into having kids so much?

Never in my life a man who barely knew me told me OOOOH YOU GONNA REGRET NOT HAVING KIDS, YOU WILL DIE ALONE, YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO CHANGE YOUR MIND, WHY DON'T YOU HAVE KIDS YET (i'm 27)

And I'm like wtf.

So I work in a store and I had to "teach" how to work my station. We are a huge super market in in our super market people only have training here for 3 weeks before they get sent to their stores where they will work.

So I have older women and younger women who I "train" (and my coworkers too, basically anyone who is around "trains them by showing stuff and such since most of people who train here never worked in a grocery store)

This year since January probably over 30 people was "training" here. Most of them were women and I am not kidding at least 20 of them start asking about private things like DO YOU HAVE A FAMILY right away.

I would love to just say IT'S PERSONAL WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU ASKING ME THIS WE MET LIKE 30 MINUTES AGO FOR THE FIRST TIME. But I don't want to be a bitch and I answer with short answers "no". I would love to say OFC I HAVE A FAMILY I AM NOT AN ORPHAN. I HAVE MOM, DAD AND MY BROTHER. but that would be bitchy too. But I would love to say it lol.

The next question is WHY? WHY NOT? and YOU STILL HAVE TIME I HAD MY 2ND ONE WHEN I WAS 33. Etc.

And then they talk to me how great kids are which like ok you can talk how much you like kids I don't mind but this woman was literally AND YOU STILL DON'T WANT THEM AND THEY ARE SO GREAT.

Not every woman is that annoying like this one but all give me the same questions as I mentioned "why? Why not? You still have time?"

I don't think this is a normal question but it's very normalized question women about kids and family after a few minutes or after a few hours of meeting for the first time.

Do they ever think that some women can't get pregnant or they had a miscarriages and it's a touchy subject for them? What if their bf, husband can't have kids? You won't go around telling that to everyone. They just interrogate other women like they are a police officer.

Not to mention one of the women (she was training here in February) gave me the biggest death stare when she was asking me when I'm planning to have kids and because I was so annoyed I raised my voice and said NEVER the only kids I'm planning on having ARE ANIMAL KIDS, BABY CATS, BABY DOGS! after that she was just giving me death stares.

Women my age in mid 20's are the same and they have been telling me I will change my mind since I was 14.

Like imagine me go preaching around like them ADOPT YOUR KIDS ABORT YOUR KIDS (which i would NEVER DO) but imagine us who don't want kids would do that we would look insane yet those who do have kids are seen as normal when they ask about such things.

Sorry for a longer rant but i'm just so pissed off and women that i work with (my own coworkers) don't find such women annoying and they think i overreact when i think that such behavior is annoying.

People have been telling me I look 19-20 and it's even weirder that they ask me such stuff before they even ask my age. One woman said (she was in her late 30's) OH I THOUGHT YOU HAVE MORE TIME (when i told her my age because she thought i was 19) YOU WILL HAVE TO HURRY UP... like who says this???

I hate when people act like there's One Right Way To Live, and that everyone who isn't pursuing the same life as them must be in the wrong and needs to change their path. There's nothing wrong with wanting a family, but there are so many other dreams to pursue which can be equally important and valid. Of course, he will go through the basics with you: asking what your preferred pronouns and name are, as well as nicknames and comfort wise with name-calling in the bedroom. He wants to know everything as he doesn’t want to offend or upset you in any way.

Nevertheless, Simon is incredibly supportive; telling you that he’s proud of you and happy that you felt comfortable telling him. Nothing changes between you two — the relationship is the same, possibly stronger than it was before.

Captain “Price” John:

With him being a bit older than the others (aged 37 to early 40s), he’s not very aware of the gay/or open community. Sure, he’s been around it and knows enough but he doesn’t have as much knowledge about it as you possibly do. That being said, he will ask questions or make a face when you confess to him; slightly confused about the whole deal.

While he’s confused, with the help of the internet and your explanation, Price will immediately catch on board and agree to your terms. Asking what name you’d like to go by and how he can do certain things without offending you.

“Proud of ya’ for finding your true self. I love you, ‘kay? Nothin’ ain't stopping that.”

Regardless, Price is extremely happy and proud of you; with you being his beloved husband, he wants you to be as comfortable and happy as possible.

If and when you want medical transition, Price will appear at every appointment, rubbing your hands and back if he senses you’re nervous, and always supports you with whatever decision you want. He will ask the doctor multiple questions, wanting to know everything and how he can help you.

When you want top surgery, Price will make sure to be there when it happens and comforts you with the pain and anxiety. He will help you get dressed and bathe you without hurting yourself; spoon-feeding you on the days when it’s extremely hard.

Want HRT? He’ll be there, ordering your testosterone and helping you with a well-scheduled time; talking with your doctor about any and all questions/or needs. If you are scared of needles, he will help you with your self-injection, distracting you as he does so; kissing your forehead, and praising you as he gets finished.

Is someone being an ass to you? Price has it covered with his tall and intimidating structure. He’s not afraid to get into their space, using this opportunity with his Captain’s voice and making sure they shake in their boots for being pieces of shit.

Gender dysphoria, needing reassurance, and doubting yourself are a hot piece of garbage. If a certain day is hard, Price is right behind you, rubbing your back as he tells you how manly and handsome you are — how nothing could and never will change his thought with that of you. While these thoughts can be hard to get out of, he wants you to know that he’s there to comfort you; whatever you request, no matter how big or small, he’ll make sure to deliver it with that sly smirk of his.

When revealing to him, he doesn’t think differently of you — rather nodding, smiling at you before asking questions (I.e your preferred pronouns and name). He’s calmer about it, but never less, Gaz is super supportive and understanding.

“I’m glad you felt comfortable enough to tell me, that must’ve been hard. Have you told your friends (and/or family)? You do know that I still love you, right?”

sooo just before covid i took a 3 week dessert course and kind of became obsessed??? during lockdown i used to watch tons & tons of videos on process nd technique instead of physically yaknow Doing Anything bc i hated the idea of ~wasting ingredients~ at my mediocre skill level which looking back was an insane approach but i kinddd of think it helped bc when i started making things more regularly the improvement was p quick !!

my fave thing to bake is pastry (puff, choux, shortcrust, filo) so basically any kind of sweet tart/croissant/eclair/profiterole/pie ❤️ i also love a savoury curried egg or chicken puff but that's kind of a gamble bc what EYE think is an okay level of spice does not fly for everyone else. when it comes to large batches for a party or something i usually stick to sweet 2 be safe

course i make cake and stuff too and it's FINE but i also know lots of ppl who are better at it lol. i'm pretty Terri at piping anything more complex than a simple swirl so when it comes to deco i tend to stick to covering the top with store-bought macarons/fruit and calling it a day. also maybe it's just me but full layer cakes are such a hassle to cut and store...... i adore a cutieful low commitment CUPCAKE tho <33

thing is bread is honestly such a delicate process where ur final product will flop unless the ratios are justé right and u proofed at something.000001 degrees and mercury is in retrograde whereas the rules of pastry are more relaxed and intuitive and involve doing vaguely unhinged things like holding fistfuls of ice cubes before you handle ur dough so the heat from ur palms doesn't melt the butter... it's also great for LAZY BITCHES LIKE ME because a "4 hour recipe minus baketime" sounds intense until u realize 3h15 mins of that is just chucking the thing in the fridge between rolls

choux au craquelin is probably what i make the most often. love a textured little cream puff!!! versatile and scalable and easy to transport... she's that girl truly

also today i remade the mango one i was telling k about and it turned out muchhh better with a chunkier filling yay 🥭

She had a smart mouth. Javi assumes that’s probably why he likes her so much. On her first day at the admin desk, Javi had ambled down after hearing about the ‘pretty new administrator’ – those had been Steve’s words and their types were very different, but he couldn’t resist a look, and damn Steve had been right. He’d been smitten almost immediately. He wasn’t used to being told no, so when you’d repeatedly turned down his advances, he couldn’t lie, he was frustrated. 

“I like your nails, querida, the colour suits your eyes.” 

“I think I heard flavour of the week last week telling you hers would look good around your cock,” You replied, dry tone, “You’ll not get that from me, so hurry up and tell me what you want.” 

That had been the first time you’d left him speechless; you were always so blunt with him. He was used to women playing coy, making him chase but giving in anyway. This was different. You were different. 

“Can I buy you a drink, hermosa?” Friday night, embassy staff bar night. 

“I can buy my own and not feel obligated to fuck you, so I’m okay thank you, Agent Peña,” You were going to turn away from him, “But maybe if you ask Intern Number 4 over there, you’ll have more luck, she’s been practically deep throating her straw whilst watching you.”

Intuitive too, he had to hand it to you, he hadn’t noticed the intern at all, more focused on the curve of your ass in the bar stool and the shirt that was unbuttoned down to the neckline of your vest underneath. 

He was starting to lose the will to live. He’d never really wanted anyone so badly in his life, all because you never really gave into him. So, when he’s stuck with Murphy and you, grounded from field work as some sort of punishment, organizing the embassy archives, he knows this is his chance. 

He curses Steve silently all day for taking your side, the both of them make comments all day – Steve starts with, “I think this is the only time I’ve been in a room full of women Peña hasn’t fucked.” Then a little while later, when he’s confused with the filing system, you’re rolling your eyes with a “They’re sorted alphabetically, Javier, how the hell did you pass basic and end up here?” 

Steve dips out at five, if he’s not needed for fieldwork then he’s not staying in the filing room past hours – he leaves with a shot over his shoulder for the two of you to behave. Javier is looking at you as he says it and there’s a smirk across your face. Bingo. 

“You don’t wanna behave, do you querida?” 

He’s walked up behind you, catching you between his two arms that he has placed on either side of you, resting them on the desk. He stifles a groan as you press your ass back into him, “Depends what you had in mind, Peña?” You’d turned to face him, body impossibly close to his own. 

He moves a hand and tilts your chin up to look at you properly, his lips just millimeters from your own. He wanted to press a kiss there so badly, but now was not the time.

MY 200 FAVORITE ALBUMS OF ALL-TIME

(Revised 2024 Edition)

To my way of thinking, a list of favorite albums changes over time. At any moment, there might be as many as 300 or 400 albums that are good enough to make a favorites list of 200. Where and how to cut is the question. I do a new list whenever the old one feels outdated to me. The criteria I use is pretty basic. I choose my favorite records to listen to, and those that get played more often are ranked higher. But my listening habits change from time to time, so when an album I love doesn't get played as often because I'm getting tired of it, it falls to a lower spot on the list, or disappears altogether. If I haven't played it in awhile, and it sound fresh to me, it goes back into regular rotation, and subsequently climbs higher on the list. I go through periods when I listen to one genre more than another, and that can also affect where the album lands on the list. Playability is the most important factor. That's why an album that has one great side that gets played all the time while the other side is ignored, won't rank as high as one that I enjoy playing from start to finish. And critics lists are things I often read, but completely ignore when it comes to doing my own. My list reflects my tastes, and my biases only.

This is my first revision since March of 2023. There are 28 new additions to the list this time marked with an asterisk. And, in case you're wondering, there were five artists that placed at least five albums on the list. They were The Rolling Stones (13), The Beatles (8), and The Beach Boys, Steely Dan, and Tom Petty each had five (though four of Petty's were with The Heartbreakers, and the fifth was a solo album). Here's my list, and I hope it encourages you to explore something you might not have heard, or to pull something out you may not have played in awhile.
