My favourite thing about your writing is by far the inner monologue narration meshing with the dialogue hehe it's just SO well done because it flows together so well!! The mental image of all of Charles' very very subtle actions is so funny to me LMAO

And he just keeps egging Max to keep talking on and on and on and it's genuinely so sweet to see even in between all the laughter aaaa my heart went all soft and gooey at it even though I was giggling. One of my favourite genres in fics is when the little idiosyncrasies of people are valued and appreciated just as much as what most people see as their "strengths" or whatever. It's there in almost every single one of your fics and it is always so exceedingly delightful :D
