Hi, I love tali and I think about him either 3 times to literally all day (he’s taken up my escapism brain, he has me in a chokehold shaking me like a ragdoll) so I was wondering something

How would he be if he found out that his love was also obsessed with like games and stuff. I imagine it would come up sooner in dating but I also like to imagine we keep it a secret for some reason (like embarrassment or to keep up a certain look) and than one day it just comes out.

Like one day in the gaming club the boys are talking about playing a random game as an off day. They say a certain game and all of sudden we get excited and just start talking in depth about it. Controls, secrets, lore, cheats, etc. Than when we finally stop and look up at tali and his friends theyre just staring like “holy shit, and she like games as well, perfect” or whatever (it’s 4 am i haven’t slept but i think of this scenario every other day)

I’ve seen people requesting one shot things, you don’t have to write a one shot or anything if you don’t want to, I’m mainly just wondering how he’d feel and be, and wanted to share my scenarios cuz I got a lot. I love all your stories and they also take up my mind but tali has been manning the lines.

I also like the idea that he’d make a whole new account JUST to play with reader. Maybe if she’s a support player, he starts trying to learn how to ADC so he can lane with reader. Maybe he’s really fucking bad at it. He might be a Diamond 1 mid laner, but he’s Bronze 2 in ADC. A humbling experience.

I also like the idea of it being something like Skyrim/Baldurs Gate, but reader has a some guilty pleasure sex mods installed. He asks to see your modlist at one point; there’s no way out of the 500+ mods you have installed he’s gonna find the weird shit, right? I think if it happened before you were dating, he'd probably be intrigued to say the least, but definitely too shy to do anything other than jack off at the thought of you in some of those positions. You're just so nice and sweet, but...he learns some interesting things about you.

Now if it was AFTER you started dating, I think he'd absolutely give reader shit for it.

What I really fuck with is it being a game that's a bit older and has fallen out of fashion a bit. Maybe something like Half-Life, or maybe even something SUPER niche that only reader knows about for whatever reason. After years of “dude, no one cares,” he finally has someone to talk to about it.

Oh my god, he’d infodump for HOURS. His friends don’t even know what the fuck you two are talking about. I think you’d definitely replay it together, and it’d have the same rush of excitement as if he was playing the game for the first time again.

I wish I could think of more, but I think of a lot of it is just summed up by him being super excited to share his hobby with someone he cares so much for. He can be his authentic self around you, and that means the world to him ❤️

Question: How do you ladies deal with all the hate, death threats, fandom toxicity, and nonsense that you’ve gotten lately? I’ve been dealing with a lot of really dark traumatic events that I wouldn’t wish on people, and it’s beyond ridiculous seeing some of the things this so-called fandom loses their mind over. I’d hate to see how some of them react if an actual problem were to happen in their own lives. I miss the days when things were fun on here. I have a lot of downtime at work & found this blog a while back. Stayed cause I enjoyed the 4 of you. Enjoyed seeing Materialists pictures. Chris looked like he was having fun. My point is, I wouldn’t have the patience or energy to run this blog dealing with some of the things people say, and have no idea how either of you do it. Fandoms have gotten beyond irrational and terrifying (TBH). You have a lot of patience to deal with it all. I feel like I am losing my mind seeing some of conversations that happen in these fandoms. It’s sad. Then I go to back to work and check out. But I’m left to wonder how many of those people leave their houses… ever?! I feel bad/sad for those people, but also don’t. I mean minors are one thing, but the adults need to take responsibility for themselves and their actions. Sorry if this is mean, needed to vent and send compliments at the same time. Life is hard, mental health is real, but I’ve been going through it lately.. and Chris Evans has the last thing on my mind; I’ve been focusing on myself. If anything, I’ll come on here during work, but that’s been counterproductive cause I just get mad (not cause of you ladies) and it’s a bummer. Sorry for the long ask ♥️

First of all, I'm glad you're putting yourself first. That should always be the case. I'm sorry you're going through some tough shit right now but you'll come out better for it on the other side. 💜

Second, we basically do the same. We know that this blog is only a part time thing and we just don't allow it to bleed over into our personal lives. We make sure to take time outs when we need it and enjoy the world around us. It helps that we have multiple mods because one can take over if someone else is busy. We have different opinions sometimes, but we’re still a team. We’re here for each other and support each other through fandom things, but real life things as well. It can be a lot of fun to be part of a fandom space, but we don’t let it consume our lives and we actively stay present in our outside worlds.

The people that send us hateful asks are just trolls looking for attention. It’s why we’re able to just let it go. We do have concerns about their behavior in general though. When they send us death threats, we’re in a place where our mental health is strong enough for it not to bother us, but it concerns me that they use language like that in general when we know plenty of people on here do struggle with mental health and sending messages to others telling them to off themselves isn’t funny or okay at all. If sent to a person who is struggling, that can have a catastrophic result and it’s the reason why we try to speak up as much as we do. When these bullies pop up, we want to be known as the people who said “hey, what your doing can have negative consequences and that isn’t ok” as opposed to being the type of people who couldn’t be bothered because it didn’t affect them. We don’t want to be passive people who standby at watch it all happen. It just goes against us as people in general.

We try to hold on to hope that the fandom will eventually return to the fun community it used to be. Having all of the BTS content the last couple of weeks was fun and made it feel like old times again. I love when we can sit back and share in the excitement of some new content and share thoughts and opinions of how we think the movie will be. Hopefully we’ll get a chance at more of that soon! 😊

Fatphobia is NOT a "Western" or "American" issue - it is EVERYWHERE!

I am seeing a lot of posts about fatphobic doctors and how they refuse to support their fat patients properly, and how it almost kills the fat patients at times. Then I read a lot of extremely tone deaf comments like:

“American doctors are so cruel…” “Healthcare in the USA is terrible”

As if ONLY American doctors are guilty of this. Well I’m here to say that, No, actually, horrible doctors don’t have a specific country of origin nor do they only exist within certain geographical areas.

  I am from Kuwait. The Middle East. More precisely, the Arabian Gulf. That’s nowhere near USA, Canada, or any European country. Kuwait has very high overw****t and ob***ty rates. Don’t quote me on the exact percentages but we’re talking ~40% ob**s and ~75% overw****t. Odds are if you’re Kuwaiti you’re either fat yourself or your friends and family are.

  Diabetes and hypertension are at ridiculously high rates here too. Odds are if you’re Kuwaiti you either have one or both yourself, or your friends and family do.

  Doctors here are fatphobic AF. There are surrounded by fat people – and most of them are fat themselves. Yet they still prescribe weight loss and restrictive diets to “cure” acute and chronic illnesses.

  Boy do I have some FUCKED UP stories. Buckle up.

  My fat sister had a middle ear infection. Her doctor (who was also fat!) said it was because she was unhygienic because she was fat and not cleaning her ears properly. It lasted for SIX WEEKS. She was in unbearable pain. We begged her to see a different doctor. Spoiler alert: it was a viral infection caused by a virus, not some phantom fat infection. She received treatment and had the fluid removed.

  My fat teenage cousin was feeling dizzy, couldn’t focus, and was always tired. Doctors diagnosed him with Fat and said he should lose weight by going on a 1200 calorie diet and exercising (umm.. he was always tired how could he exercise?!). He went on a restrictive diet that the doctor prescribed—not a dietitian, mind you! –and fainted several times. The doctor told him he was being dramatic and attention seeking. Wow what excellent bedside manner, and what a great thing to tell a CHILD! (sarcasm) Turns out my cousin had low blood pressure (explains the dizziness) and genetically inherited low blood sugar (Explains why he couldn’t focus and was tired). The restrictive diet made it worse. You’d think that in a country with so many people with diabetes and high blood pressure, they’d be more aware of these things and test for them first. Fatphobia clouds their judgment.

  My friend’s fat mother had pain in her abdomen that just wouldn’t go away. Doctors said it was because of poor eating habits. She told them she hadn’t changed her eating habits so where would this pain come from? The doctors (she saw someone in internal medicine and a OBGYN) said that her “bad eating habits” were “catching up” on her. They ran zero tests. No imaging. No scanning. Just told her to stop eating so much, Fatty. She started having trouble breathing, and she had pain in her back as well. Doctors still insisted she was reaping what she sowed for being fat. No diagnosis other than “Fat consequences”, and no support other than “stop being so fat”. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance after she collapsed in the supermarket. She had a tumor that was growing quickly and also pressing on her nerves. (She is fine now)

I should mention that our healthcare system is completely different to the US. Our healthcare is free (government-funded), so the comments about how the American healthcare system is broken and that's why fatphobia is rampant doesn't make any sense.. Our healthcare is FREE and we still have fatphobia here!

  Fatphobic doctors don’t have a nationality. They don’t have a race. They don’t have a gender. They don’t have a class. Fatphobia in medicine is everywhere, even in fat countries, even in fat doctors themselves. These stories could have happened anywhere in the world, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they already did happen in other places. Fatphobia isn’t a “Western” disease, or a “Western” mindset, and it most certainly isn’t exclusive to US Americans. Fatphobic doctors are not endemic to the USA. Fatphobia is everywhere in medicine.

I'm gonna gently leave a tiny vent here in your inbox bc I feel like I need to scream into a void but also a void feels too empty so screaming into someone cool's inbox might satisfy those feelings??

Anyways. I recently decided to go on a break with one of my partners. We're no longer treating each other like romantic partners, bc of a lot of reasons, but mainly bc for a bulk of our relationship we were unhealthily dependent on each other after a mutual friend manipulated him into cheating on me(she lied to him abt what qpr meant and told me off for trying to correct her[this might sound familiar bc I cried abt this multiple times in your old server and if it does and you know who this anon is, hi I'm too nervous to go off anon but hello])

And for me this break has been... A great decision, actually. I don't feel forced to love him when I was having a really hard time doing so due to his jealousy towards my newest partner and his needs not lining up well with my own. I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, and my other two partners have been great support in getting me through the complicated feelings coming from this.

Now we're calling it a break bc like... The plan is to see if I can fall back in love with him but. I don't think I should. I think things were too bad for too long and I can't keep trying to be responsible for his feelings and his problems. So I might just... Cut it off at some point. Maybe when he's done with school this semester cuz I do not want to add to that stress hooboy

Anyways uh... I'm mad at myself for connecting so much of my creativity and original story to him. I told myself after an ex years and years ago that I'd never do that again bc it soured the story for me. But I did it again. And for fucks sake my own comfort character is in that story and I made this guy the voice actor for that character???? Like how fucking stupid was I for doing that again!

And like, yeah, I know I couldn't have predicted any of the bad shit that happened. I couldn't see any red flags from him until the dependency started and I felt like I needed him or else I'd want to die. So I shouldn't be too harsh on myself for trusting him with something so precious to me but EVEN SO

I'm upset!! Aaaaa!!!! AAAAA!!!!!!

My ex and I (who by the way we still talk like every day and we’re still chill, those of you in the server know he was a mod there and stuff so you know who he is) started dating through a fanfic but I ended up dealing with the toxic parts of our relationship through my writing it leaving it to be a very sore spot for him which is why we never finished and I do feel bad about that.

Plus a quick google search would easily tell them Kassandra and Eivor were envisioned as “masculine” as they are now even before the male options were designed? Official ACV concept art for Eivor’s character design even states lady Eivor was designed first and that male Eivor was based off of HER. But sure they’re “shells” based on men 🙄

Looks like they’ve chosen to “highlight, appreciate and support” the fact that queer, gnc women aren’t real women because these women are simply men’s “shells” for being masculine and queer.

Oh I’m so glad that you see this and stay tf away. Aren’t these the same breed that were sooooo outraged after reading and citing that Forbes article by Jason Schreier last year, “OMG Kassandra and Aya/Amunet originally were supposed to be the protagonist, I’m so oUTraGEd and feel rOBbeD that Ubisoft took this from us”? You’d think with all the devs that they are good friends with, they should know by now that Kassandra and f!Eivor were designed first in mind, then the male counterparts were added AFTER being forced by higher-ups and marketing. The Montreal writers keep having to reassure people that everything about Eivor is intentional and they have always intended that Eivor is a female. The first name alone, Eivor, is a female name. I think the devs already know they’d have to deal with idiots, so they added Varinsdottir in her last name (dottir means “daughter”), but I think the devs still underestimate their level of stupidity. They sure are attentive to plot details when it involves their brotherhood though, but women? *wheeze* They love AC2 sfm but it didn’t take them until last year to realize how dirty Aya/Amunet treated. Nobody paused when Origins was announced to say, but Amunet statue? Pleaseeee *wheeze* For them to go around saying that Kass and f!Eivor are just “shells” based on men and now, practically calling the devs lazy because making them masculine to save time/effort in development time really shows their true colors. If a woman isn’t slim-af-and-only-attracted-to-cishet men, then they’re not women. gnc, queer, trans women? I don’t need to take a guess to see what they view these women as. These fake feminists don’t find it disrespectful that Kass and f!Eivor are pushed aside for the male shells to take the spotlight, but they find Kass and f!Eivor being masculine and queer disrespectful. Someone please turn on “Send in the Clowns'' for me, I prefer the Judi Dench version.

You know what I find hypocritical about these fake feminist breeds? When they call for more female assassins content, they never once invalidate their beloved male protags, “We’re not here to cancel m!Eivor/Alexios/Bayek/Jacob/Arno, we just want more of f!Eivor/Kassandra/Amunet/Evie/Elise/Aveline”, but now that they have more backers, they immediately turn around and dismiss the only two AAA female protags as women because they’re “too masculine, like men.” That’s right! f!Eivor walking like a man and both Kass and f!Eivor wear male armors and are attracted to women automatically dismiss their existence as gnc, queer women. Being a masculine, queer woman somehow exempt them both from sexism because these two are just “men’s shells”? What kinda Isu drugs are they on? Now I wish f!Eivor had a true buff Viking body in her vanilla state (I know there’s muscles mod by amisthiosintraining and I, but still), because what else are these fake feminists gonna trash her on? f!Eivor is a shell for m!Eivor? *wheeze* What could’ve been said was, “I want a female-protag-only game because then the devs can focus all their time and effort on her story, for her” or “Ubisoft should give the devs more time, resources, and creative freedom to give players more historical context of the struggles the female protags have to deal with, compared to male protags”. For example: a side quest with Aspasia as she deals with how sexist people (surprise, women can be sexist too) were towards her as perhaps the most educated, influential woman in Athens at the time. Or how Kassandra had to fight her way to be allowed to compete in the Olympics. That’s all that’s needed to be said. There’s nothing wrong with asking/wanting a feminine female protag who is gender-conforming, but it says a lot about their true view of women when they drag gnc and queer women down to parade their idea of a superior woman.

But what did these fake feminists choose to “highlight, appreciate and support” instead? Oh that’s right, disregarding both Kassandra and f!Eivor as inferior women, because them fakers don’t deemed masculinity and queerness as the aUThenTIc female experience they want to play as. You know what’s worse? Pitting these female characters together to rate how “feminine” each of them are to deem which ones are more “real” as a woman. Can you imagine them doing that to the male protags? Knowing full well that the devs’ hands were tied when it comes to creative freedom when making Kassandra and f!Eivor, but still go around and shit on the devs for being “lazy”, while dismissing Kassandra f!Eivor experience as women because of their gnc and queerness. What kinda Beta Sigma (BS) is this? Oh I think I know the answer: reinforcing their ideas of what they find acceptable for their version of a woman. Honestly, it’s not the first time gnc, queer women are shit on in AC, remember that cursed DLC from Odyssey? Yea. I expect nothing more from Ubisoft-certified fans. Watch, if we somehow get a female-lead AAA game next installment and she happens to be queer, gnc, and godforbid to their fEMinISt standards, she happens to be trans as well, these fakers would most likely scream, “We support women. We want the REAL woman experience”. But if she happens to conform into their fEMinISt standards, you’ll get to hear how she’s their most favorite protag since Ezio cuz she’s a “real woman”. Again, nothing wrong with gender-conforming, feminine women, but using them as THE superior example, this fuckery/fakery reeks.

One last general tip from Doctor Who, “Goodness is not goodness that seeks advantage. Good is good in the final hour, in the deepest pit, without hope, without witness, without reward.” Look closely and you’ll see what those advantages and rewards are. 

p/s: Didn’t Ubisoft CEO just appoint his family member(s) to be in charge, while there were also discussion on how the new directors are no better than the sexist, racist ones that were fired/let-go? Sounds to me like it’s business as usual again. So, asides from the accomplishment, I wanted to request your help (again) for the Fire test, in basic (if it’s not to much to ask) because I had some struggles trying to get an S (the highest score I got is an A on hard in basic with a score of 10292) and making a team in hard level to obtain it. First, I know that some of my cards still need to be trained and I will gladly train them (cause it will take time) but all of this like I planned to obtain it in a future, so relax in that aspect xd.

Your current team: FG Leona / FG Kalim / Bday Vil / Robe Rook / Robe Vil

The FG pair is great, good job maxing them!

Bday Vil is good, but his DUO partner (Azul) isn’t here, so Dorm would actually be a better option depending on his magic level.

Robe Rook and Robe Vil are both good here, Rook for buddy and Vil for damage, but this team lacks DUOs.

Here are some teams for you to give a try:

Option 1

FG Leona, FG Kalim, Bday Malleus, Lab Idia and 5th member

FG Leona with FG Kalim will be your main damage dealer, it’s a good thing that you’ve maxed Leona’s DUO and his ATK buddies.

Bday Malleus is your only other Water DUO card, so use him with Lab Idia for extra points.

As for the 5th member, you can choose from these 3:

Robe Rook: he’s also Leona’s ATK Buddy and is probably your best option as Leona is all maxed

Lab Sebek: he’s a great Attack SR and is Malleus’ ATK Buddy, worth considering if Malleus’ DUO is also maxed

Dorm Vil: adds a 3rd DUO to your team, only recommended if you can end the battle on turn 4 for sure, that way you don’t have to worry too much about getting disadvantage on Leona’s magic 1

The Dorm Vil team will have 3 Tree magic, which could be disastrous if rng gives you all 3 early on. Discard this idea if the magic levels are low and you end up having to go to turn 5.

Option 2

FG Leona, FG Kalim, Bday Vil, Dorm Riddle, and Azul (Lab, Robe or Uniform)

Once again, FG Leona with FG Kalim will be your main damage dealer.

Now, have you ever heard of the term fighting fire with fire? That’s what we’re gonna do here.

Dorm Riddle’s DUO is already maxed and deals a lot of damage, so let’s use him here too! It would be perfect if you had Dorm Azul, but we will make do with Lab, Robe or even School Uniform R — he’s there to activate DUOs only.

Stick with Lab if you don’t want to level up another Azul card

Go for Robe if you want Null damage and 1 extra HP buddy

Consider using School Uniform R if you don’t want to risk using a Tree magic to activate one of the DUOs

Bday Vil’s DUO (Azul) is also Fire, but he has buddies with both Kalim and Azul. Sure, they’re HP buddies, but that’s good considering not even half of your magic have element advantage here.

General tip: Basic test this time doesn’t have any ATK/DMG debuff, shield or heal, so pay attention to how much damage each of your magic does. That way you can plan better when to activate each DUO and which extra magic to use to get to turn 4 with a good amount of HP left to overkill the enemy.

Hi y'all, I wrote these custom supports for @gayawakeningrevived , and figured some people might like to read them outside of the mod! So without further ado, here they are! There's a full C through S set here, plus a custom ending. Enjoy!

C - Support

Flavia: Cherche. I’d like to speak for a moment, if you don’t mind.

Cherche: Ah, Khan Flavia. A pleasure to see you again.

Flavia: No need for the formalities. Never been much for them. Just call me Flavia.

Cherche: Very well then, Flavia. What can I do for you?

Flavia: I’ll cut straight to the chase. I want you to join the Feroxi army once this war is through.

Cherche: I see. Well, I’m afraid I must decline.

Flavia: Already? That was fast.

Cherche: Yes, well, I can certainly see the appeal of joining you in Ferox. However, my duty is to the people of Roseanne. I must help them rebuild, and I doubt I could be an effective soldier for you while living a continent away. 

Flavia: Ha! You have a point, there. I admire your dedication to your people. Honestly, there’s a lot of things about you I admire. 

Cherche: You flatter me.

Flavia: Trust me, I’m completely serious. You’re one of the most graceful fighters in this whole army, while also being one of the strongest. Not a lot of women can pull that off. I imagine a lot of my soldiers envy you.

Cherche: I’m sure at least some of them could rival me, given how much of your culture revolves around strength.

Flavia: Well, yes, but it’s not exactly common. I’d love to keep discussing this, but I have a war council meeting to get to. I just figured I’d give you my offer on the way. We should definitely find another time to chat, though.

Cherche: I completely agree. We shall talk later, then.

Cherche: Now, Minerva, you behave yourself while I’m gone. I’ll be back very soon.

Cherche: Oh, hello Flavia. Yes, as we both know, I’m never anywhere near the stables.

Flavia: Ha! Truly. Is now a good time to continue our discussion from the other day?

Flavia: Excellent. So, you wanted to know why I think fighters like you are hard to come by in Ferox, correct?

Cherche: If you don’t mind, yes. I’m rather curious.

Flavia: Not at all. It basically comes down to the way we’re expected to behave. Feroxi culture is dominated by the idea of strength. But in our military and the like, people tend to equate strength with masculinity. So behavior that’s seen as “feminine” is generally looked down upon.

Cherche: And so that’s why I stand out to you? Because I’m effeminate and a decent fighter?

Flavia: Well, I’d say you’re certainly more than ‘decent,’ but yes. I know there are some women in my army that want to embrace that part of themselves, but they’re afraid of their comrades scorning them. I thought you could be a good example for them.

Cherche: To show them that grace and strength aren’t mutually exclusive?

Flavia: Exactly.

Cherche: Why me specifically, though? What about someone like… Lucina, for instance? She’s rather feminine, but she’s also quite the terror on the battlefield.

Flavia: You forget that Lucina called herself “Marth” for a while there. Whatever her reasons, she felt the need to masquerade as someone more masculine for a while.

Cherche: Ah, that’s true. I didn’t meet her until after she’d thrown that aside, but I did hear tell of it.

Flavia: Indeed. When it comes down to it, you’re the one that stands out in my mind the most.

Cherche: Well, I’m glad you think so. It takes quite a bit of effort, actually. Perhaps I could show you how I try to balance the two? Then you could be the example you wanted yourself.

Flavia: …You’re joking, right?

Cherche: I’m afraid not.

Flavia: Hmm… Well, what the hell? Can’t hurt to give it a shot.

Cherche: My thoughts exactly.

A - Support

Cherche: So, when you slash, let the action flow naturally. Use your strength, yes, but focus more on the complete action rather than simply hitting hard.

Flavia: Like this? Hyah!

Cherche: That was decent, but now you’re still putting too much brute strength into it. Use the weight of the axe to finish the strike. Try swinging it slightly softer.

Flavia: Softer? You sure this kinda crap will even hurt someone?

Cherche: Positive. 

Flavia: If you say so. *Swish*

Cherche: You’re looking more graceful by the minute!

Flavia: Really? I don’t feel much different.

Cherche: Trust me, if you keep practicing this, you will. Though perhaps it may be better to stick to what you’re used to in actual battles, for now.

Flavia: Agreed, better safe than sorry. Don’t want to get too showy and end up losing a limb!

Cherche: *Giggle* Yes, that would be for the best.

Flavia: I appreciate you teaching me this, Cherche. I might not be the best at it, but hopefully seeing me doing this shows my soldiers that it’s okay to show their feminine sides.

Cherche: Of course! I’m happy I could be of assistance. Actually, I had something I wanted to give you.

Flavia: Oh? I’m not used to receiving gifts.

Cherche: Well, hopefully, that will only make this one even more special. [Wounded w/Sweat] In my country, it’s customary for women to make a handkerchief for those they share a close bond with. I know your culture is all about being rough-and-tumble, but―

Mod Edgeworth: The Lost Turnabout hands down. All logic is thrown out the window the moment Phoenix had amnesia. It’s clear the Judge knew something was wrong with Phoenix, so why didn’t he call for a recess or check on Phoenix? Not to mention Wellington was annoying. He’s probably the only character I would be hesitant to play as when answering letters, if only because he was so unbearable.

As for Turnabout Ablaze, I do agree that it is a drag to get through in the end, though the entire game of AAI was boring, aside from the game mechanics. As a case by itself, I wouldn’t put it as my least favorite, if only because I did get some funny parts out of it.  It also contributed to the overall story, whereas The Lost Turnabout could just be taken out and it wouldn’t effect the overarching plot.

Co-Mod: I’d probably have to go with Turnabout Big Top.  I honestly couldn’t figure out the part where you have to present Max’s poster without consulting a walkthrough.  Why couldn’t we just present Max himself?  Besides that, the ending was largely underwhelming -- the murder weapon was hidden under Acro’s blanket the entire time, but instead of seeing a screenshot of it there, we just have to imagine it.  Maybe it was a filler case, but that was no excuse for it to end so poorly.  Not to mention one of the witnesses was a literal puppet.

It’s hard truth, Trilo.  Live with it.

Mod Edgeworth: I… think I heard from her when the localization of DGS was announced? I know Mod Kristoph and Mod Maya introduced themselves when I came into the group. There’s a third person, but I only heard from her once. As for what’s going on with her… I don’t know.

As for the flooding the inbox, it’s fine. I won’t promise a letter or two won’t be deleted, but we may make an exception and I’d hardly consider 4-5 different letters flooding the inbox. However, I do highly suggest lowering your letter sending to no more than three a day to prevent deletion of your letters. The only time I’d say your letters are flooding the inbox is when you’re sending 10-20 of them, especially of the same letter, and we have to scroll down for a while to get to the next letter. We will only choose three out of that pile and delete the rest.

And yes, we do have a few that send us 10-20 of the same letter to multiple characters in the span of five minutes. Geez.

Mod Edgeworth: Since I answered this one, I shall answer your letter.

(^ Why do I always use this sprite? ^) Actually, the localization never specified if Manfred Von Karma was born in Germany or not. In fact, we never knew the German part until Justice For All when Franziska Von Karma was stated to have flown all the way from Germany. It never specifies any reason for this and fans were quick to jump to the conclusion that it means the Von Karma family were German, which… isn’t entirely true? Manfred Von Karma never said he lived in Germany and, for all we know, Franziska could’ve lived in Germany to study law or something.

Now, the OG does give us more specific detail on this, being why I answered this the way I did. In the OG, both Von Karma’s were born Japanese, but lived in America or at least have an estate there. It specified that they were originally born in Japan, which would be translated to LA, California in the localization. While using the OG canon isn’t normal here, I will use it, if the localization doesn’t specify things. In this case, it never specified if the Von Karma’s were born in Germany or if Manfred Von Karma lived in America. Since he had to wait out the Statue of Limitations for DL-6, we can assume he lived in LA for 15 years or more. That means he’s American.

I am still getting the hang of writing letters, but I try to stick to canon as much as possible. If you believe we’ve made an error in our letters, feel free to let us know, but also show proof, if we go against canon. We’ll be sure the letter is sent to the right mod or else fix it.

Mod Edgeworth: I thank you for your support of this blog and my essay. Manfred Von Karma is also my favorite villain and someone I do feel is underestimated as a one dimensional villain. I think people hate him so much, because of how he ruined Miles Edgeworth’s life without looking at the bigger picture. They focus on the bad things with their black colored glasses without dissecting Manfred Von Karma’s character as a whole. 

One thing I love about this blog, even before becoming a mod, is that no one here ever portrayed Manfred Von Karma as the one dimensional villain. He can be snappy at times, but as proven in many of our previous letters, he’s also portrayed as being calm when threatened, polite at times and absolutely loves his wife and children. Yes, he’s a terrible person, but that’s what makes him so interesting. He’s a bad, evil person that does good things from time to time. It doesn’t justify any of his horrible deeds, murder included, but it does make him human.

Co-Mod: I’m...going to assume you’re a different Dahlia.  (I’m grabbing a Magatama of Parting just in case, though.  I’m sure you can understand.)

Anyway, thanks for being such a loyal follower!  This blog’s been through a lot of changes since it began, and since I joined it back in 2017, so I’m glad it’s still a good source of enjoyment for you.  I’ve seen all sorts of cringe by now, by the way (some of which I wrote myself), so don’t worry about it.

I’m also glad that the characters still sound like themselves and not like us.  The hilarious personalities and quirks given to them by Capcom’s writers, as well as the humanity in so many of them, make them easy to relate to, and thus fairly easy to mimic.  I may have said something like this before, but I see myself in a lot of them -- in Athena’s fear of inadequacy, in Apollo’s desire for justice in a world where it’s hard to find, in Sebastian’s confusion about where to go next after his world falls apart, and possibly even in the von Karmas’ desire for perfection.  I of course identify with their positive feelings as well -- Phoenix’s smugness when he gets things right, Athena’s joy after pulling off a victory in court, Adrian’s pride after her self-confidence is restored, etc. -- but there’s something about the struggles they face that make them easier to relate to, on top of being that much more awesome in the end.

Unfortunately, I can’t promise anything about this blog continuing on in perpetuity.  For one thing, I don’t plan on being around forever (I’m fairly certain the other Mods don’t, either), and for that matter, there’s also no telling how long Tumblr will be around.  All I can promise is that I’ll give my best while I’m here, and that the love from you and everyone else who shares it here is sure to be what keeps us going.  Thank you for your contribution!

Mod Edgeworth: Actually, Gregory was stated in the Autopsy to have died by a gunshot. However, you do bring up something interesting. If Gregory Edgeworth realized he was dead and last remembered Robert Hammond strangling him, he wouldn’t think “I died by the shot of a gun.” Since the Detectives weren’t aware that victim had died unconscious, they’d assume the victim would recall being shot and killed. This makes me wonder if Gregory Edgeworth was channeled, but never brought to court to be cross-examined.

There are still holes, but I do like your aspect on DL-6.

Co-Mod: Dang...  No matter how many times you come back to this game, there’s always something new to think about.  I honestly hadn’t considered those details about Yanni Yogi’s trial.  Your explanation makes the most sense to me, but there’s one other possibility regarding Gregory’s testimony -- he may have chosen to lie about who murdered him in order to protect his son from a murder charge.  That’s all open to interpretation, of course, so your guess is as good as ours.

It’s a good thing we’re not actual defense attorneys, huh?

To answer the second part of your question: personally, I don’t catalogue anything other than what gets posted here lmao. Finding fics, for me, just comes down to knowing how to search for things if I’m honest (I say as I’m making a massive post about fics we can’t find lmaooo). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Supernatural Thursdays is a fan-run discord server that hosts weekly viewing parties in order to rewatch Supernatural. They are currently at 854 members and are hoping to reach 1,000 soon. They host three viewing options:

The Midday viewing on Thursdays at 3pm CT, the Main viewing on Thursdays at 9:30pm CT, and the Late viewing on Fridays at 10:30am CT.

The first viewing party for the next episode, season 1, episode 2: ‘Wendigo’, is scheduled to begin today (12/3) at 3 pm CT.

It all started with a tumblr post by valleydean on November 17th. 

“what if after the show ends we all watch an episode every thurs at 8pm from start to finish? it’d take 6.3 years to complete one cycle” 

The casual observation took hold of Supernatural fans. Likes and reblogs flooded in, and currently the post sits at almost 2,000 notes. Tumblr user @castee-yel​ was struck by this suggestion. They reached out to @valleydean​ on tumblr to brainstorm ideas, and soon the Supernatural Thursdays discord server was born.

“Seeing the show come to an end was devastating,” castee-yel says. “I wanted to keep it going, keep myself going.”

Tumblr user @fitinmypoems​, a nephilim-level mod, echoed that sentiment, saying, 

“I was very disappointed and upset with the supernatural finale, but I do adore the show… When I saw Dee post about doing a weekly rewatch, I was interested! It's more fun to watch this show with friends.”

The server hosts viewing parties three times a week: twice on Thursdays (a ‘midday’ viewing at 3 pm CT a ‘main’ viewing at 9:30 pm CT), and once on Fridays at 10:30 am CT. 

“We've had streaming parties for two episodes so far- 15x20 and 1x01,” says tumblr user @profoundsbond​, a demon-level mod. “They both went great - everyone watches the eps on their own and reacts to it in the chat and it's typically been pretty high energy.”

Server member Darian recounts the watch party experience. 

“It was quite nice, to see everyone's reaction to all the emotional moments of the episode. Exactly the shared experience I was looking for. And it was definitely fun - people were creating memes in the chat at light speed.”

“it's been wonderful!” says server member Galvanon. “The energy before the eps is palpable and the people are really friendly. It's also very well-organized so I've never had a hard time finding anything. 10/10 would recommend.”

 “It's really helped me cope with the finale we had,” says tumblr user @carry-on-my-wayward-sooon​. “It's a really fun and supportive group and an overall great time.”

That community aspect, the shared love of the show, is what drove castee-yel to create the server in the first place. 

“The core of this was to share something I cherished dearly with a few people,” they explain. “That quickly expanded to 320+ people in less than 12 hours and to the server it is today at only 2 weeks old.” 

Currently, Supernatural Thursdays sits at 822 members. It’s organized into over 30 text channels and moderated by a team of 11 moderators. 

“[The mods] are amazing,” says Darian. “To organise all this and create a welcoming place for 800 people... must be difficult and they are doing a wonderful job at it. Literally all good suggestions are being taken to consideration to make this place even better. I'm really glad I found this server.”

The general attitude seems to be ‘the more the merrier’, as far as encouraging new members to join is concerned. 

“If you want a community who is gonna be embroiled in all things SPN and cast related, we're the place for you,” fitinmypoems says. “The point of the discord is to rewatch the show, but that's only once a week. The other 6 days are just to hang out with other fans and goof about.”

“You can be as active as you want in here,” profoundsbond says. “It also helps that we have multiple channels for different topics, so you can really… get what you want out of the server.”

Castee-yel is excited at the prospect of new faces in the server, hoping to get to 1,000 members soon. “The sooner they join the better, as we're planning some very big things for the future of this server.”

NAOYA ZENIN

-          straight up, I ship myself with him. Yes, I know he’s awful, yes I know he’s sexist, but I’m 100% confident I can make him fall for me with just my personality alone. I mean, I’m pretty too but LMAO. Honestly, my ideal life with Naoya is not really a domestic one. I don’t know how to cook very well, I don’t deal well with children either, I don’t know how to do my laundry so…I can’t imagine myself being a housewife for him. I am capable of other things too, and my ideal life with Naoya is the two of us just being successful and contented in both our careers. This is going to sound weird, but I can always picture myself coming home late from work, taking my coat off and replacing my scrubs (if I don’t have my own clinic) with pajamas, and Naoya comes home a few minutes later, looking FINE and dashing in his suit. We’re both tired but satisfied, doing skincare side by side and we have our own sinks just because we like our space, brush our teeth together and then cuddle to bed. Complain when the alarm rings at 4am but we’ll get up anyway and it’s just a very nice routine of stability <3

-          My ACTUAL life with him though…if we’re going canon-wise, I think Naoya won’t be openly affectionate. I’ve got a feeling he won’t let me work too and just serve him instead. Now don’t hate me for this, I’m indulging myself in my fantasy, but I think I’ll be fine learning how to make him tea and basically be, as my header says, his trophy wife. We’re not the most romantic, we’re definitely not spoiling each other, but I think we’d be a great power couple

-          why is that my ideal/actual life with them? kind of like an expectation vs reality. That’s my ideal life with him because if Naoya wasn’t sexist, I feel like he’d be supportive with my career and studies too. I’m okay that he’s not overly affectionate, and I feel like Naoya isn’t big on overly romantic stuff either, so I’m really satisfied with just mundane things. And that’s my actual life with him because BRUH man is too busy trying to be head of the clan to even pay that much attention to me but like…I don’t mind LMFAO
